We got married this past weekend and used Reverend Alex as our officiant after seeing such great reviews on here. He was so nice and helpful, did a great job and made sure we were well aware of everything we needed to know and do. Thank you so much! Rev. Alex was amazing! Everyone asked where we found him! So fun when he could be and serious when he had to be. Definitely recommend him to anyone out there!!

Rev. Stroud was an amazing Officiant! He is a very caring person, timely with his responses, and will work with you to make sure what is spoken during your ceremony is exactly as you would like it. I am so thankful to him for making our Rehearsal and Wedding day run so smoothly. He was very interested in what was going on the entire time and he offered many suggestions to improve the process. He speaks very clearly and adds a little humor all while being the utmost professional. I would recommend his services to anyone looking for a marriage officiant. At the last minute, we decided we wanted to get married on the Galveston Beach New Years Eve.I called the Island Minister listed on the Internet and he never returned my call.I kept searching and found Rev.Stroud. He called me back within one hour. He also took the time to send me pictures of places on the beach that were pretty where we could get married. We also were not expecting him to have someone there to take pictures. He also sent us a video of our wedding all at no extra charge. The pictures and video alone are worth way more than his fee! We were very pleased with Rev.Stroud and would recommend him to anyone. He has a great personality and plenty of professionalism. He made all our dreams come true for our wedding!

Performed a great service and was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about how to structure the different parts of the ceremony to make it unique and special while still maintaining a traditional feel. I would definitely recommend his services and would rehire again and again.

Rev. Stroud was amazing!

He absolutely did everything the way we wanted. With planning a wedding on such short notice, we had completely no idea how things worked. He gave us a lot of feedback and made sure that everything said in the ceremony was what we pictured. He responded to every one of my questions quickly when i first contacted him. He replies to emails very quickly. On my Wedding day, he was so kind to wait an extra hour after the actual starting time to begin. (I had family arrive late and i didn't want to start without them) Me and my husband appreciated his patience. Rev. Stroud has an upbeat attitude and you can tell that he truly cares about what he does. I recommend him to anyone who needs and officiant! Thank you Rev. Stroud, for making our ceremony memorable.

I really can not say enough great things about Dr. Stroud...from the moment we first sent him an email he stayed in contact with us all the way up to and even after our wedding. He is very professional but he also is a pleasant person just to be around. Dr. Stroud made our wedding day even better than we ever imagined. We had only 15 people present at our wedding but the effort he put into our wedding was like for a 200 person wedding. He is a great man, a man with a kind and loving heart...a godly man that flowed at our wedding...I truly could feel the presence of God as he was doing our ceremony. If you can not tell already...we 200% recommend Dr. Stroud and his very helpful assistant Andrew. Thank you Dr. Stroud!!!!!!

Rev Stroud provided a beautiful ceremony for us on our wedding day and worked with us ahead of time on vows and length of ceremony. The ceremony was just what we wanted and we were very happy with it.

Dr Alex Stroud is so amazing. As far as service quality......a+++++++, responsiveness A+++++++++ he responded to every message way faster than I had ever expected. Most professional minister I spoke with. Dr Stroud helped me in sooo many ways....my flowers were wrong, he fixed it, my people were late, he was early. Rev. Alex was perfect for our wedding. We very much appreciated his experience and having him perform our ceremony was definitely the right choice. We chose a very traditional service but Rev. Alex was open to having us customize the ceremony. My 13 year old son was included and the vows exchanged between my son and my new husband I will never forget - I still get teary eyed thinking what a special moment that was!! Most certainly when shopping for an officiant, I know there might be cheaper options but this is something you don't want to leave to chance - he is great at what he does and does exactly what he promises.

We had an interesting experience with reverend Alex. He was always quick to reply and very friendly, but concerns or options in our emails were very rarely addressed in his responses. We went through multiple versions of our ceremony with him, but edits that we made were completely ignored in follow up communication. On the day of our wedding reverend Alex showed up on time and prepared, but was in his cassock rather than the suit that we had requested. His delivery of our service was also problematic. Even though we had supplied a mic he spoke so quietly that many people couldn't hear him. Also, he got lost twice in our service. The good part about working with reverend Alex was that all paperwork was signed quickly and promptly turned into the state.
