Working with Sandy is one of the best decision we made for our wedding day. She is so incredibly kind, genuine, transparent, and caring. Florals made me a bit nervous initially, but that QUICKLY went away upon speaking with Sandy! The florals blew us away and I am so honored to have had her as a huge part of our day!!

Absolutely stunning flowers
Sandy went above and beyond and did the most incredible flowers for my wedding day. The arrangements were breathtaking and perfectly matched what I had envisioned. I talked to many different florists, and Sandy was the only one who described exactly how she would put together my bouquet and did everything within my budget. Also, I had to add several boutonnieres last minute and she was very flexible and able to accommodate.

Incredible and Breathtaking
Sandy and her team quite literally knocked it out of the park! I am not one who is familiar with florals, or can properly articulate my ideas....but WOW!! Stop looking for a florist and use Striking Stems! Sandy pulled my vision together perfectly and we had non-stop compliments for florals, both for our welcome event and wedding. They were responsive and super easy to work with. I gave Sandy free reign on our welcome party florals and she did a wonderful job.
Of all our wedding vendors that were with us throughout a 3 year (COVID postponed!) wedding process, Sandy at Striking Stems stands out as being one of the best. Not only was she very flexible and understanding with scheduling, rescheduling, and rescheduling again, but she was adaptable and supportive throughout the rest of the planning process. Whenever my vision, ideas, or guest count changed, she quickly and happily made the changes, while providing her knowledge, insight and expertise. She went above and beyond to make sure that the flowers were exactly what we wanted. She was very friendly and laid back (yet professional)- making the process enjoyable rather than stressful. We highly recommend Striking Stems for your wedding day. When so much of our wedding process initially went wrong (due to Covid), Striking Stems definitely remains a highlight!

Sandy, with Striking Stems, absolutely blew me away with how gorgeous my flowers were for my wedding. I sent her an inspiration photo that I found online and she surpassed every expectation I had. My florals were prettier than my inspiration photo. Sandy knew everything I didn't know I wanted. I almost 'chickened out' with my bold color palette with something more bland and she assured me my color palette matched and it would look gorgeous. She was sooo right. My wedding was absolutely stunning because of Sandy. I cannot thank her enough for giving me the wedding of my dreams. We miss her already!!

Wow is all we can say about Sandy and the Striking Stems team! We were so blessed to have them as our florist for our wedding, and I can’t imagine our wedding vision come to life without them. I cannot put into words how AMAZING Striking Stems was to work with. Not only is their work absolutely beautiful, but they are also very kind, knowledgeable, and flexible. I had a great experience using Striking Stems for my wedding. When I first reached out to them I had no idea what I wanted in my florals - I was kind of all over the place. I had a meeting with Sandy and she was able to point out different flowers that she thought I might like based on the color pallette I had. She helped me narrow in on what I was looking for. From first booking to my wedding day, I changed things 4 times and every time Sandy was so responsive and got the updated quotes back to me within days. She was so responsive and helpful every time I needed anything! On the actual day of, I loved my bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, the centerpieces, and all of the other florals they did. I especially loved the decoration they did for my large wooden ceremony cross. Everything was set up exactly as we discussed and I loved it! In addition to all of that, I felt that the prices were very reasonable and Sandy helped work everything into my budget without sacrificing what I wanted. I definitely recommend using Striking Stems for your big day!

Sandy was wonderful! I never actually got to meet her in person until the day of the wedding but talking to her through emails made me feel like good friends. She was very mindful of our budget and gave us the absolute best outcome for what we were hoping to spend. I was blown away the day of the wedding once I saw all of her beautiful arrangements. She has an eye for design and I am extremely happy we went with her for our wedding flowers!

From the first time I met Sandy I knew she would make my vision come to life. I cannot express in writing how beautiful all my flowers turned out. She even had my flowers flown in from Los Angeles to get exactly what I wanted. I had my wedding at Ashelynn manor which made the flowers even more beautiful with the setting. Everything was handled with professionalism and the value of the flowers for the price I paid was unimaginable. Striking Stems were wonderful to work with. I dealt with Sandy and she was very professional as well as personable. The flowers were all absolutely beautiful. My daughter was so pleased and excited about her bouquet as well as all of the flowers. We needed to add a flower for one of the guys a couple of days before the wedding and they were able to do it and did not even charge us. They also made a darling little wrist corsage for our three month old granddaughter. They had everything in place on the wedding day and it helped to make our daughter's wedding so very special and beautiful.

I used Striking Stems for my wedding 2 weeks ago and I would absolutely would use them for any other flowers I needed. I started working with Sandy 8-9 months before my wedding and I just showed her pictures of what I wanted and she recommended flowers to use in my wedding season and came up with ideas to show me. About half way though I changed my mind on some arrangements and it was no problem. The day of the wedding her team was on time and even put charms I brought to put on my 5 bridesmaids bouquets last minute. The arrangements she made were awesome and everything I had hoped for!! Paying was easy and she uses pay pal! I recommend her 1000X!

The flowers at my wedding and reception were beautiful. Striking stems was so easy to work with and they kept my budget in mind the whole time they were working with us. They were priced more competitively than other florists in the area and really delivered beautiful bouquets and floral arrangements.

I absolutely loved the products made by striking stems. From our first meeting to the last e-mail hours before our wedding, Sandy was always helpful. I wanted to go against traditions and have a colorful, feathery boquet.. They did an amazing job! I also stated that I did not want the boquets to be as big as usual and she did a great job finding the perfect size. For 11 months we had planned to have our wedding outside. Just hours before we switched to indoors and Sandy did a great job with the transition. The prices were wonderful and the outcome was even better. Thanks for a great day ladies!

Sandy was FANTASTIC! We wanted minimal flowers and decorations and she did NOT push us towards ordering more flowers for the sake of more money to her business. She got us as a couple - our vision, our simplicity, etc. We gave her a few descriptions of what we like as a couple (both in relation to flowers as well as what our hobbies are) so she could get an idea and she ran with it; she showed us pictures of flowers she thought we would like based on information we provided to her and she nailed it! When we saw the flowers at the venue we were completely blown away at how gorgeous and well put together the bouquets were. Simply stunning.

We highly recommend the ladies from Striking Stems. We communicated long distance since we planned our wedding from California. We sent photographs of flower ideas we were interested in having for the wedding and the reception. We came to Texas for a meeting and felt very comfortable and confidant our flowers were in good hands. They took care of everything. They were on time and set everything up. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. They added just the right touch not over powering and not understated. I was able to share with Sandy my vision for the wedding, the colors I wanted to use, and that I wanted to use sunflowers and she created the perfect bouquets and flower arrangements for our wedding! We were very impressed from our first meeting when she met with my mom and I and showed us pictures of all the flowers we could use, we do not know flowers and other florist would just rattle off all these flower names and we were lost. The price was actually cheaper then other florist and Sandy was so sweet and had wonderful ideas! She added lace from my moms wedding dress to my bouquet for a perfect, beautiful, and meaningful bridal bouquet!

My husband and I got married 2 weeks ago at Lindsay Lakes in Cypress and one of their top recommended florists was Sandy at Striking Stems. When we first started looking for florists we e-mailed a few to get more information and so many other ones were difficult to get in touch with, never responded, or took weeks to respond. Sandy answered me the same day and was so helpful and accommodating! For meetings she gladly worked around my difficult schedule as I lived out of town, and she was able to help us come up with beautiful floral ideas for well within our budget! I must have e-mailed her with new ideas, changes, and questions about a hundred times in the year leading up to the wedding and she always made the time to quickly and thoroughly respond! She even did white drapings in our ceremony space which looked beautiful! The flowers were all ultra-fresh, and arranged beautifully! I couldn’t have been happier with her work! I would recommend Sandy to any bride wanting to make a statement with the flowers at her wedding for really reasonable prices and with the expertise and support of a wonderfully talented florist!

My flowers were amazing!!!! One of my favorite parts! They are well priced and listen carefully to what you want. When we met, it was not at a florist because they are 2 independent women...... This part was hard for me because I'm a visual person. I wanted to point to things in person or have them create a mock of what my centerpieces would look like. I gave them pictures and a verbal description. After awhile I emailed them and expressed how I wanted to see more. They were very prompt in emailing me links to pictures and totally comforted me. I felt silly for ever worrying because they were gorgeous!! Exactly what I pictured, what I described and what I wanted! I would recommend them to anyone

Sandy and Ashley were great to work with. As soon as my mom and I met with them, we knew they would be our florist. We got such a great vibe from them. We ordered mock centerpieces and loved them. Before we ordered a mock centerpiece from another florist and the one from striking stems just came out wayyy better. They were very easy to work with. We made multiple changes (adds) and what not to our contract and they gave us an updated invoice shortly after each time. They had no issue if we forgot to add something or anything like that. all of the flowers they provided were amazing. The bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages down to the toss bouquet (which i wanted to keep and not toss!) turned out beautiful. They got my vision and the centerpieces they provided really just sealed the deal on all of my little details. Extremely happy with this vendor!

I have to say that Stiking Stems was by far one of the best vendors we worked with for the wedding. They were very flexible with my constant changing mind and were very open to trying new things. When I brought up the idea of using stainless steel, they were excited for the challenge and when I wanted to add house numbers into my centerpieces as my table numbers less than a week before the wedding, they acted like it was the easiest thing to do. Our floral was amazing and unlike any other wedding's I've ever seen! They took my vision and made it spectacular. Their pricing is very reasonable too! I highly highly recommend Ashley and Sandy!! :)

I did not have a large flower budget, because the venue I chose did not require a large number of floral arrangements. But, I still needed personal flowers for myself and the wedding party.
I did not have a very specific idea if what I was looking for, and just gave a basic idea to Ashley and Sandy of what I wanted. They listened, and I had perfect flowers for my wedding day.

Striking Stems did a wonderful job with my wedding flowers! I wasn't terribly picky because when they asked me what I wanted I said "pretty and not dead". Their expertise and taste filled in all the gaps in my own vision. All I knew is that I wanted a red bouquet to contrast with my white dress and white bouquets to contrast with my Bridesmaid's red dresses - they arranged the rest! Their centerpieces were very elegant and I am so glad I could trust them to use their creativity so I didn't have to worry!
I should also mention that Sandy and Ashley are wonderfully FUN and easygoing. I just loved giving them my business because they are such great people in addition to being extremely talented. Both their personalities and work exceeded all my expectations!

I called Sandy the week of the wedding and told her I need 5 bouquets. I told her I trusted her judgment and I told her what my favorite flowers are (out of season and way too expensive). She ended up finding some of my favorite flowers in their cooler and sprinkled them throughout my bridal bouquet amidst some beautiful inexpensive flowers :) It was perfect!

Wow! Sandy and Ashley are absolutely amazing! First of all, they came to my rescue after my florist moved away a few months before my wedding. From our first meeting, I knew they would be great to work with - they listened to all of my ideas (even the crazy one of using bougainvillea for my centerpieces!), worked within my budget, and offered up ideas of their own to help put my vision together. Their communication with me about everything was great. They worked well with my landscape architect friend to secure the bougainvillea, and with the event coordinator to get everything done (even the coordinator complemented me on how great they were!). The day of the wedding, they arrived early - they were very organized, and got everything set up in plenty of time. All of the girls' bouquets, guys' boutonnieres, and family corsages/boutonnieres, were even better than what I had envisioned. And my bouquet! It was the most gorgeous bouquet I've ever seen in my life - I absolutely LOVED it, and got SO many complements on it throughout the night. Oh, and a bonus - they got me the cutest wedding day gift! Overall, I highly recommend Striking Stems - they are great to work with, and produce great work!

Overall Striking Stems did a great job on my bouquets, centerpieces, and altar arrangements. However, during the planning process the vendor emailed stating the desire to return my PAID balance because I asked how much were real rose petals to line my aisles. Every bride I know is on a budget. So when a bride inquires about adding an item(after she has paid her balance 4-5 months in advance) and the price to do so...the last thing she needs is an email about finding a florist to better suit her budget when she has a $0 due balance with the current one.
