We held our wedding in late March 2022. It was a wonderful venue. The wedding chapel area was gorgeous with garden flowers and very private. The service that Kayla and her team provided was exceptional. She was so responsive and always available. The guests raved about the food (and the tasting experience was awesome). The "barn" reception area was open (yet elegant) and FUN. I highly recommend a wedding event here.

We cannot express how appreciative we are to Strawberry Farms and their amazing staff! Kayla and Ingrid made our planning experience effortless and continued to put us at ease leading up to the big day and on our wedding day! They took care of everything, which made the process less stressful than most would expect for planning a wedding! Their preferred wedding vendors list helped us to find the best vendors ever! All the vendors worked so well together since they have all worked together countless times, it made for a seamless wedding day. From the beautiful ceremony on the lawn, to the delicious food/bar package and ended with the blast of a reception in the big red barn...they truly made our Wedding Day Dream come true! Can't thank them enough and would highly recommend Strawberry Farms to any couple looking for a beautiful, rustic and relaxed location to celebrate their big day!

Choosing this venue was the best decision I made, since they made everything so easy! They have preferred vendors, so you don't have to waste time looking for a professional photographer, florist or DJ. My wedding coordinators Ingrid and Kayla were the best, they are very friendly and helpful! They did an amazing job decorating the barn, it looked so beautiful and romantic. They made my vision come to life! My wedding truly felt like a fairytale thanks to them!

I recently had my wedding reception at Strawberry Farms and they were incredible. Ingrid and Kayla were the most amazing wedding coordinators and were such a joy to work with. The wedding night went seamlessly and it couldn't have been more perfect! My husband and I are so happy we chose Strawberry Farms as I really wanted a rustic style wedding reception and the big red barn was perfection. They were the only venue we looked at and we are so thankful for them as they made wedding planning so easy. Can't wait to go back and visit!

Strawberry Farms was a great venue for our wedding. It had the perfect amount of charm and detail that we felt we didn't need to decorate the venue. We really liked the overall feel that fit with our personalities. All of the coordinators were great; very professional and dealt with all the details day of so I didn't have to worry about anything. Our guests also really enjoyed the food...I know big surprise. We felt that we got a great value for this venue. Our friends loved it so much they wanted to have their wedding at Strawberry Farms too! Great venue, great people, great food, Excellent value!

My best friend got married here last year & it was a perfect day! As her maid of honor, I spent lots of time talking with the coordinators here, Patty and Kayla. They were so accommodating and easy to work with, it took tons of stress off of me! Plus - the food was SO good. I would definitely recommend this venue to any of my other friends.

Beautiful venue, food was great! The staff totally took care of our every need. Patti was awesome and took care of every little detail, Kayla was right by her side and as sweet as they come! I highly recommend Strawberry Farms for every wedding or any event!! :)

This was such a unique venue. The southern wrap around porch for appetizer hour, the red barn for reception dinner and dancing, the wildflower fields and windmill for wedding photos... Best location
Ever. ( there was even a breeze blowing during the hot summer day that we got married). The food was great, the bartender was great -so many of our guests told us it was the most fun wedding that they had been too.

The venue was beautiful. The red barn was perfect for our vintage romantic theme. The staff did exactly what we wanted, and provided us with the burgers and fries that we wanted for the dinner portion of the night. The presentation was great!

Most amazing venue- you don't even feel like you are in Orange County!! Every aspect was taken care of down to small details. We felt very taken care of!

The food was amazing (my groom and I actually ate at our own wedding) and the service impeccable! Everyone there made sure everything went off without a hitch and was so nice.

Strawberry Farms was an absolutely perfect venue for my wedding ceremony AND reception. They were able to accommodate so much for us and were incredibly flexible with all of the decor we brought in for the day of. Heather, Rochelle, and Stacy were the coordinators that are employed with Strawberry Farms and they, too, were incredible. There was no need for a third party wedding coordinator because they had absolutely everything handled down to a tee. I would recommend anyone to Strawberry Farms who is looking for a sweet and quaint venue (although they sure can accommodate many guests!) I have no complaints and only great memories!

Strawberry Farms is a beautiful wedding venue! They have an awesome big red barn which is what drew me in to booking with them. Stacy, their events coordinator, was professional and knowledgable. She worked with us to plan the layout of the decor for the day. We had planned to have the ceremony outside, but it absolutely poured the day of my wedding. With no problem at all the ceremony was moved inside the barn. It was still so beautiful and the staff at Strawberry Farms quickly pulled off the transformation from ceremony to reception. They also provided the food for the evening and it was amazing! I've never had such good buffet food at a wedding before. We had a tasting with other couples getting married around our wedding date and picked our favorites. The bar was nicely stocked and decorated very nicely for the day. It was a pleasure working with them and an awesome wedding venue. I'm so happy we chose it!

I cannot recommend Strawberry Farms enough! Well worth the price... The entire team was very professional and replied to all of my emails and questions promptly and with kindness. I gave the staff and my "day-of coordinator" lots of respnsibility and freedom and they exceeded my expectations ten-fold! 5 stars all the way!

We were married September 2011 at Strawberry Farms Golf Club and could not have been happier with their services. We book our date a year in advance, and during that year had visited numerous times to look around. Every time we were there we were welcomed and allowed to look around where ever we wanted as long as we didn't interrupt an event. It was great to be able to see how other weddings were being decorated. The red barn has a wonderful atmosphere and can be decorated in a variety of way from casual to elegant. It was hard to believe we were still in Southern California! The venue is unlike anything we had looked at. The food at Strawberry Farms was incredible!! Service was also great. I would highly recommend using Strawberry Farms event coordinators. We worked with Stacy and Rochelle for our wedding. They made the day of so relaxing for us. We knew they had everything under control and there was nothing to worry about.

If you are looking for a beautiful venue with amazing customer service this is the place!!

Wonderful place to have a wedding!! We were so pleased with everything. The only reason I gave less stars on flexibility is that they do want you to use their "preferred " vendors and if you choose not to you pay an additional fee. That being said we used one of their preferred florists Corinne Armstrong with CM Armstrong Floral Design and she was OUTSTANDING!!! Highly recommend having reception at Strawberry Farms!

Overall, Strawberry Farms did a spectacular job! We loved our wedding and the coordinators were oh, so, HELPFUL! One thing is there is not much flexibility for choosing your vendors, but they do give you options. It is pretty pricey once everything is said and done. However, you get the barn feel and look without having to travel to the boonies!

Strawberry Farms was the perfect venue for us. The barn with a chandelier makes it a unique and special spot. I love that there is only one wedding a day here and you won’t see another bride and groom on your special day. The pricing was reasonable and the food was delicious (as we were told by many of our guests as well). The entire process was overwhelming at first but after sitting down with Rochelle and having her go through everything before our tasting things just started to flow.

The group of coordinators is very responsive and will answer all your questions even if you have already asked the same one three times.

Stacy signed us up with our contract over a year in advance of our wedding. Their contract is straight forward and there isn't much room for changes or modifying the rules/options they have in place, they also have a very resonable deposit. Rochelle took over while Stacy was on maternity leave, but once back she worked our rehearsal dinner and wedding day. Stacy was so easy to work with and left me feeling calm throughout the day. We had a great time with Stacy driving around with the photographers and videographers to the different spots on property to take photos. Heather wrapped up the night and it went off without a hitch!

When I was first looking for wedding venues in Orange County, I was looking for something different and outside the norm. Everywhere else was centered around a beach theme or inside a hotel. I didn't want either of those. I also didn't want any old run-of-the-mill golf course wedding. When I saw that the reception venue at Strawberry Farms was a big red barn, I knew that that was where I was going to have my reception (the ceremony was in a church). Turns out, it is a very popular place, so you have to book early (we booked 1 year in advance and took the last Saturday of the entire summer). I loved the barn (not only because I feel like I'm a country girl at heart), but because it had character and was welcoming and felt "homey." I wanted my guests to feel comfortable. It was also great that the barn doors open so that guests are free to wander inside and outside. The scenery around the barn is also exquisite with rolling hills and a long winding white picket fence driveway with blooming flowers.

We ended up doing the option of adding the day-of wedding coordination service. It was so worth it for us because we didn't want to have to worry about anything on our wedding day other than each other. The 3 ladies that help out were great and answered all of our seemingly endless questions. They respond quickly through email and were easy to get a hold of on the phone. They did a phenomenal job setting up our wedding and coordinating the entire thing (Heather was our main coordinator on the actual wedding day and she was AWESOME). During the reception at sunset we also got to take a golf cart with our photographer to some spots in the hills to get some amazing sunset pictures.

Also the food was so INCREDIBLE. We had a filet mignon for dinner that all of our guests raved about. They told us it was the best wedding food they've every had. I'm very picky about my steak, too, and I thought it was delicious. It was soft, tender, juicy, flavorful, and seemed to want to melt in your mouth. Everyone LOVED the food. People also admitted to "stalking" the servers that tray-passed the southwestern egg rolls.

Also, if you can afford to spend a little extra, ask for the ceiling draping. It added an elegance to the barn that simply blew our guests away. Also, we did cocktail hour in/on the side of the barn rather than on the terrace and it worked out really well (so don't feel like you have to pay extra for the terrace).

Our wedding day was flawless (which was a total surprise to me). The setting was perfect. The coordinators did their jobs exceptionally well. Come here if you want a wedding that people will feel comfortable and relaxed at, but also has a touch of elegance. Hire a great photographer as well and you will not be disappointed in choosing Strawberry Farms. I would recommend this facility for any bride that wants to be different than the typical OC bride.

We were married in early April of 2011 at Strawberry farms. Stacy and Heather their on site coordinators were fantastic throughout the whole planning process and were very attentive the day of the wedding even though I opted out of their "day of" coordination. The site was prepared exactly as promised, on time and beautifully. The food was spot on and all of the guest were impressed.
Our wedding was only for 50 guests so we had our reception on the terrace instead of in the barn, which was perfect. The day was beautiful and the site even provided three heaters for our guests since April weather is unpredictable.
I can't say enough about Strawberry farms, the location made our special day even better than expected. The charm of the venue and the classiness of the staff was wonderful.
Added bonus: there is no minimum on Sunday's. The minimum was way above our budget for a Saturday, but Sunday was no minimum and the vibe was mire relaxed which fit the overall theme of our wedding day.

They were great when planning out wedding! Not only were they reasonably priced, but they were very helpful! Stacy was our coordinator and she was outstanding! She drove us around to take photos around the property and she was there from start to finish! This location is beautiful and the Red Barn is stunning! Plus their food is fantastic! We had guests tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had! It all literally melts in your mouth! I couldn't have dreamed of a better place with such great service! Definitely recommend!

Strawberry Farms Golf Club made my dream wedding come true! They were so accommodating to ever idea and plan I had. The price is very reasonable for all the venue offers you. Patti and Kayla are two of the best wedding coordinators out there, they truly have a passion for what they do. They have an amazing preferred vendor list, it made it so easy. It was a one stop shop and I didn't feel stressed once in the planning our wedding. I truly had a fairytale wedding and I can't thank Strawberry Farms enough for making it all happen!

Strawberry Farms was the perfect venue to get married at! The service was excellent. Rochelle was excellent at answering my questions via e-mail and she was very responsive. She was attentive, experienced, and friendly. I felt she could have been a little more present the actual day of the wedding. The time in between the grand entrance and the ceremony she was giving a couple a tour of the venue. Overall she was great at sticking to the schedule and was very organized.

My (now) husband and I had never heard of Strawberry Farms before until we found their website online. The pictures on the website looked amazing and so we went to check out the grounds in person. The golf course is beautiful and the big red barn was so unique and wonderful that we knew we had to have our wedding there. Our coordinator, Stacy, was amazing and super helpful. She knew exactly what to do, when we had no clue. Our wedding was amazing, beautiful, and the food was so good - all of our guests told us how much they loved our wedding. Highly recommend this location and highly recommend day of coordination.

We had our January 2011 wedding at Strawberry Farms. The location is beautiful, even in January and you can´t beat the rustic charm! The location and venue was exactly what we were looking for. Stacey, the coordinator is very efficent and helpful in showing us around and answering all our questions. On the day of the wedding, she kept things on track and helped to direct the vendors. We didn´t sign up for the $600 coordinator services, and things still went very smooth. The food is not fantastic. It´s your basic wedding salad and dinner. If you are looking for high end food, this is not the place for you. We were a little disappointed in the food, decent but not delightful. (Also, a tip, you can bring 4 people to your tasting, if you reserve for your wedding. We found out upon arrival to our tasting, that we could have brought along two others). Overall, we were very satisified with Strawberry Farms.

We had our reception here. The place was perfect and Heather, the onsite wedding coordinator, was nice and easy to work with. The staff did a great job at the reception itself as well. We had a small problem about the bill afterwards, but we worked it out in the end. The staff is very professional and the food at SF is the best!! Our guests raved about the red barn, scenic golf course, and yummy food!! I would definitely recommend couples to check this place out!!

My husband and I had both our ceremony and reception at Strawberry Farms and really loved the atmosphere and service that they provided. The surroundings are really beautiful and our contact, Stacy, was so helpful and pleasant to work with. The food was delicious and all of our guests had a great time at the wedding.

We had our ceremony and reception at SF Golf Club. The venue is amazing and beautiful. I would definitely recommend having them help you coordinate because there is a lot of information to know about and they will not make any changes once you have agreed to the contract. Our day ended up working out perfectly and the coordinators definitely helped make the day of our wedding stress free and perfect.

We wanted a barn venue for our fall wedding in California and when we found Strawberry Farms, we knew we had found it! While the venue was perfect and gorgeous, the service was not so much. We had trouble getting responses to emails, it would take sometimes weeks to get an answer to our questions. Since we had a Sunday wedding and a small guest count, it fit our budget perfectly, but I feel like because we weren't spending as much money as probably most of their other clients do, our wedding was put on the back burner. However, I do have to say on the day of, the coordinators really stepped it up and were great. Overall, we loved the venue itself and the food was great, we just think that the service could have been a little more responsive leading up to the big day.

We loved the barn, but not dealing with the coordinators. We were planning from out of state (which could have had a lot to do with our issues) but it seemed like the coordinators didn't communicate with each other. They didn't let our DJ know the order of the ceremony, so our wedding party just started walking out before their song started. He had to keep running back to the golf club entrance to see when bride and FOB were ready to go.

I loved our venue! Heather, the event manager there, was awesome on the day-of! She kept us informed and kept things rolling but was never intrusive or in my face. We had several people complement her professionalism. My only complaint would be that leading up to the wedding she was not as responsive as I would have liked, but I found out pretty late in the game that my emails were recognized by her computer as spam and sent straight to her junk mail… so I am sure that that was a big part of the problem! All in all, she was very professional and I was extremely happy with her on the rehearsal and wedding days.

We also had tons of people tell us that the food at Strawberry Farms was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! It was great.

The wedding coordinator was less than pleasant to work with, but we were willing to overlook that because we loved the venue. Without our knowledge, the manager in charge of our menu was fired and we were shuffled over to someone else who we never had a chance to meet with. The day of the wedding I (the bride) was supposed to have a special plate which was obviously not communicated to the new food person... overall our wedding was lovely, but for a place that does so many events, I was surprised at the level of service.

The day of our wedding was wonderful and beautiful at Strawberry Farms, however everything leading up to that was difficult to say the least. Patti was very hard to work with and spoke down to me often. They have a lot of rules like which vendors you're allowed to pick from, but once we jumped through all of those hoops, the day was great! If you're willing to up with Patti, then definitely have your wedding here!

We fell in love with the venue. Unfortunately, you have to use their food and alcohol. They don't allow any outside food or alcohol except for desserts. The alcohol selection is very limited and the food selection isn't that great either. I would recommend the sea bass and the southwestern pasta though. Everyone seemed to like that. But the food prices are pretty high for what you get. However, the venue provides all tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware, etc for free. The barn where we had the reception has string lights on the wooden beams above and it is very pretty. The green grass and rolling hills where we had the ceremony are very nice. So all in all, I would recommend the venue for the look but I would suggest that they be more willing to increase their menu and bar selections.

We chose this venue purely out of love of the site itself. After seeing the rolling hills, the windmill, and 'ah' the red barn - we knew this had to be the place for our reception! We then learned about the costs... it really took the bulk of our budget! The food and beverages is where they get you, it's not bad, but not worth what they charge (c'mon $2 per slice of strawberry in each person's champaigne?)

Not at all impressed by the site coordinators, especially on the day-of (one who promised that we could light a fire lantern) but then learning from another coordinator, the night of the wedding, that we couldn't... was very upsetting. I specifically emailed months beforehand to make sure it was alright, it was sad to not be able to partake in a special (wish*) tradition of my own culture...

All in all, the venue was still one of the most beautiful I've seen!

During our event 3 separate cars were broken into. Our guests lost over $8,000 in property and vehicle damages. There were no cameras in the parking lot and no security or employees patrolling the lot. One of the vehicles that was broken into had a safe in their car hidden under the passenger seat and locked to the seat itself. It was broken into and the seat was partially removed. This had to have taken some time and would have been very noticeable if employees were walking around. One of the staff even hinted at the fact that it could have been an inside job. They have been completely unsympathetic and refuse to take any responsibility. We have been investigating the matter and have discovered 4 other break ins in their parking lot in the last 9 months. There is clearly a problem and they are not doing anything about it. For the amount of money we paid, this should not have happened. If we had been alerted to this prior to our event we would have hired our own security. I guess it's our fault for not doing our research better. We should have definitely gone to a different venue.

(PS Police are involved, reports were taken and fingerprints/dna were collected from the scene. This was not a simple break in and run situation)

If I could have worked with Kayla and Ingrid only at the venue this would be a completely different review (they deserve 5/5). Patti on the other hand should receive a 0 out of 5. I had nothing but problems with her from day one. I have wanted to have my wedding at Strawberry Farms for years so I went with the venue of my dreams and put up with Patti in order to have that. I had written a more detailed review regarding two of the circumstances in which Patti mishandled the situation. The venue is gorgeous and my day was perfect but I didn't enjoy my experience with Patti.
