Look no further

It only took one visit and one conversation with Missy to book our date at Stoney Ridge Villa and know that it was going to be absolute magic.

The venue itself is utterly gorgeous and has multiple spaces for your day. The rooftop views are unbeatable, the outdoor courtyard is PERFECT for dancing and drinking, and the indoor reception hall is beautiful with a hand painted ceiling that is breathtaking. This doesn’t even include the indoor space that is an actual house and has so much space that you could get lost. Pictures do not do this venue justice, but it definitely gives you a good idea of the space.

Besides the venue being amazing, I cannot say enough great things about the owners. From the moment we met Missy, we knew that we were going to be taken care of. We immediately made a connection with her and throughout the tour she genuinely wanted to get to know us. She was honest, laid everything out for us, and answered every question directly. We booked our date 2 years out, and she kept in touch the entire time.

Missy bent over backwards to make sure our day was perfect and when we had issues with a vendor she went above and beyond to help us out when she was not obligated to. If it hadn’t been for her, our whole wedding day would have been a disaster. Missy and her husband Dave are in this business because they love it and want people to have the best wedding day, and it definitely shows. They made our day magical and I could not be more thankful!

Stoney Ridge Villa was a dream come true. We never could have imagined that such a beautiful and unique venue was in DFW. The architecture and the setting/nature around the venue is just stunning, and although every picture you’ll find of the venue is amazing, it’s even more beautiful once you step foot in there.

More about the venue below, but a major highlight (and benefit) of the venue is getting to work with Missy. There’s nothing more apparent than how much she truly loves what she does, and that love and passion is shown throughout the entire planning process and the actual wedding day. She really goes above and beyond with everything she does and we couldn’t have imagined our wedding without her. After meeting her once, you’ll quickly realize that she wants nothing more than for you to have the most perfect wedding day. We booked our wedding here immediately after touring as the beauty of the venue and Missy’s passion could simply not be matched by anyone else.

A common theme of our wedding day was our guests telling us how beautiful the venue was, which was very important to us as we wanted to provide a unique experience. Everything you’ll need is there - bridal and groom suites, locations for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, ample parking for any wedding size, an exceptional staff, and so much more. We could not have asked for a more perfect venue or more incredible owners. From the very first moment, they made us feel welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for. They went above and beyond in every possible way to make our day not just beautiful, but truly peaceful and unforgettable.
Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and their kindness shone through in everything they did. It’s rare to find people who pour their hearts into making someone else’s day so special, but that’s exactly what they did for us. The venue itself was stunning, but it was their warmth, professionalism, and generosity that made the experience extraordinary.

I feel like I got married at my family's venue!

As a fellow wedding pro, friend, and now GROOM, I can surely say that working with Missy was an absolute dream! She and her family/team were attentive, organized, and truly went above and beyond to make sure the venue was spotless, beautiful, and ready for our big day! From the first planning meeting to last minute changes, she helped every detail flow seamlessly! The day was beautiful and it was even more than we hoped for. Their professionalism and heart shined through every step of the process. She even took us up on the roof for an impromptu photo session with my iPhone that ended up being our invitation photos! If y’all thought I highly recommended this venue to any couple before, I will be doing it even more now! Anyone looking for a venue and venue owners that genuinely care and deliver beauty and perfection with grace, look no further!

Absolutely Breathtaking - A Dream Wedding Venue!

We continue to receive compliments from our guests about how stunning our wedding venue was - and we couldn't agree more! Every single corner of the property is absolutely breathtaking. From the moment we stepped in for our initial walkthrough, we knew it was the one.

The getting ready mansion is such a unique space - full of character, charm and elegance. We instantly fell in love with this European-style feel.

Missy was an absolute gem throughout the entire planning process. she was incredibly helpful, always cheerful, and so communicative every step of the way. Her warmth and professionalism made the experience even more special. David and their son were also tremendous support the day of the wedding, and everyone felt welcomed!

We couldn't be more grateful for everything. Stoney Ridge Villa truly made our wedding unforgettable!!

Our Fairytale at Stoney Ridge Villa

My husband and I got married at Stoney Ridge Villa a few months back in August 2024, and choosing this venue, as well having it hosted by the lovely Missy, was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding

While just looking at photos of this place should emulate its charm and beauty enough, words cannot express the warmth and elegance it radiates the moment you step through their wooden doors. The venue was perfect for our needs, both spatially and aesthetically, not to mention the breathtaking views. It’s clear that a great deal of thought and care goes into this place, making you feel right at home.

What truly set our experience apart though was Missy. Many of the venues we toured before this one felt impersonal, run by cookie-cutter companies, but from the moment we met her, Missy truly made us feel like family. She was so kind, supportive, and attentive, even checking up on us outside of wedding planning just to see how we were doing. Her dedication to ensuring our day was seamless and stress-free was unmatched, going above and beyond even as to step up when some of our vendors fell short. She was such a joy to work with, and although we know she has worked with countless couples, we can’t thank her enough for everything she did to give us an intimate and personal experience, making our day feel uniquely special.

The entire experience truly made us feel like we were living in a fairytale. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical setting or a more genuine, caring host to help us create such lasting memories. Thank you Missy for your patience, warmth, & grace. For being such a light on our special day and for gifting us with such a wonderful experience that we will never forget ❤️

Dream Venue!

Stoney Ridge Villa is truly a dream venue—absolutely breathtaking in every way. The moment we stepped onto the property for the first time, we instantly fell in love. The spring flowers had just begun to bloom in time for our March wedding, and it created the most perfect backdrop that felt straight out of a fairytale. It was everything we imagined and more!

Beyond the stunning views and picture-perfect setting, what really made this venue unforgettable was Missy and her amazing family who own and operate it. From our very first walk-through, Missy took the time to thoughtfully walk us through every detail of our vision. She brought such warmth, kindness, and expertise to the entire process—and on the day of, she made sure every single thing ran seamlessly. Truly a ray of sunshine, she made us feel so taken care of, and I can’t imagine a more helpful or lovely person to work with during such an important moment.

We are absolutely obsessed with this venue and heard so many of our friends and family sharing how beautiful it was! If I could get married here a million times over, I would in a heartbeat. Stoney Ridge Villa is so amazing, and I’ll be recommending them to everyone forever!

The best venue

Missy was great at everything. She was timely in responding, resourceful, and respectful! From the days leading up to the wedding and day of she helped in making sure everything was perfect. The venue itself is breathtaking!! Didn’t feel like I was in Texas, but rather in Tuscany or Santorini! The European feel and architecture was everything we wanted. Loved it and I would recommend anyone to have their special day at the Stoney Ridge Villa.

Best venue in the DFW area!

Every aspect of Stoney Ridge Villa is so stunning and beautiful. This is a true gem that I could not be more happy that we stumbled upon during our wedding venue search. I also feel that it is priced fairly and was a great value for the amazing quality of the venue and everything that was included. The venue owner, Missy, could not have been more wonderful. She was so involved and helpful from start to finish with anything and everything we needed. She graciously lets you borrow any of her decor and was a rock star on the wedding day helping to set everything up and make sure that it all ran smoothly. Missy worked with us to make sure that we thought of every aspect of the day and offered help and the best suggestions and ideas when needed. I could not recommend Stoney Ridge Villa more and our wedding guests continue to talk about how fun our wedding day was! It was truly a dream come true to get married at Stoney Ridge.

I can’t recommend a better place than Stoney Ridge Villa to have a wedding! From the very start when we toured the venue, we knew it was our dream wedding venue. Missy and her husband are both extremely kind and helpful. Missy especially is responsive, organized, communicative, and clearly loves her job and helping others have unforgettable weddings. She went above and beyond to make our wedding a special day and is such a kind and genuine person. Stoney Ridge is gorgeous! Tons of ceremony space options, amazing photo spots, open vendors, and overall dream of a wedding venue. Everyone couldn’t believe what a hidden jem it was, nor could they believe it was in Texas! I won’t forget our beautiful wedding or memories at Stoney Ridge Villa. Book immediately

Wow this venue is amazingly beautiful and very unique to the DFW area! Definitely like a destination wedding vibe but close to home. This was the second venue we toured and we immediately booked the next day to secure our date.

Missy is phenomenal and will do anything she can to help make your day perfect. She is very hands on and thinks about everything! Our wedding planner was shocked at the involvement from Missy and David, and wished all venues were like this.

The drive out to Azle is worth it!! You can easily rent some shuttles to take your guests to and from the venue.

It’s perfect to book your own vendors and the vendors SRV provides are amazing! Definitely go to the vendor open house when they do them!

Words will never express my love and appreciation

There are truly no words that can express my love for Stoney Ridge Villa or Missy. Missy was nothing but incredible the whole 11 months we spent planning. I would text her random questions and she would always reply in a timely manner and would always give me advice if I needed it. She was just genuinely incredibly easy to work with the entire process.

Lets talk about wedding day.. Missy was AMAZING. We arrived on wedding day with tables and chairs already set up. Cross for the ceremony, already set up. Missy helped in more ways than I could've asked on wedding day. I know people don't always read long reviews so I will keep it short and say if you are considering SRV, do it. It will be the wedding of your dreams, with the most amazing, genuine, kind, selfless owners you have ever met. If I could go back in time I would choose SRV every single time.

The most magical place in the world (at least for me)
When my husband and I were looking for a venue, we got to meet Dave and Missy. We fell in love with their venue but also fell in love with how genuinely nice they were. This place has an authentic feel that we didn’t find anywhere else! Missy kept in touch with me throughout the months to make sure everything is going okay. The day of the wedding she made sure every single thing was taken care of and did everything to make sure things ran the way we had envisioned. I wish I could live in that venue forever! ❤️

Absolutely amazing place!! Melissa, the owner, is such a great person and cares about each couple that comes to her venue. The location is naturally beautiful year round and there’s so many ways to use the space provided. It’s also a pet friendly place so your fur-babies can celebrate with you. 100/10 recommend Stoney Ridge Villa.

Beautiful, Elegant, & Unique! Book your date now!

Absolutely LOVED not only this venue, but also the venue owner, Missy! The venue itself is beautiful, unique, and gives a very spaniard vibe. Very different than the typical farm/barn wedding venues I found in the DFW area, which is just what we were looking for.
It is perfect for holding your whole event from getting ready, to ceremony, to cocktail hour, and dinner/reception. No need to rent out multiple locations, plus with these views, you wouldn't want to. I loved how within one venue, it felt like multiple. The white balcony gives a luxurious clean vibe, which is where we had our ceremony. The courtyard gave spaniard vibes with the large round columns and hanging white backyard lights which was perfect for hanging out and cocktail hour. The reception hall has a stunning mural on the ceiling and was the perfect spot for food, dancing, and photo booth! However, everyone mix and matches where they do these events at the venue, which is the great part, you can’t go wrong!
Side note: the venue is animal friendly! Our dog was the best man and we had beer donkeys for our event.
Besides the venue being amazing, spacious, and eye catching, our wedding day would not have been possible without the venue owner, Missy. She truly cares about her clients and their families. She is a fresh breathe of air and will be there to help you as much or as little as you possibly need. Although I didn't have a wedding planner, Missy 100% helped ensure the day went off without a hitch! She is a compassionate, loving, and a genuine person. It was a blessing getting to meet her and become her friend through the process.
My guests could not stop raving about the location and it was amazing seeing them all dressed up going all around the venue taking photos with their friends and family!

Best photo opportunities for wedding

Missy is the sweetest person ever! She helped me feel prepared for my big day and was very responsive when I had questions. The venue is absolutely amazing and beautiful. Dream come true!!

Where do I begin? Stoney Ridge Villa was a dream come true!! This beautiful villa was an escape within the United States - many areas in the villa with a different feel that reminded me of Greece, France and Italy. We wanted to do a destination wedding to Greece but with Covid we were not able to. I looked everywhere online for 6 months within the US for a place with a mediterranean feel. This felt place felt just like that! Missy and Dave the owners made the experience so wonderful! Missy was so kind and helpful. She made me feel so welcomed and loved!! Just her personality and smile made the Villa even better. It was like she was family and I knew her all my life. She is so funny and one of a kind!!! They let us use some of their own decor and helped set it up. The bridal suite was absolutely gorgeous as well! Great lighting, space, chairs and a nice suite. This venue offers so many options to hold the ceremony for what you are looking for. They also have different areas for the reception too! Everyone who saw our pictures thought we had a destination wedding in a different country. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are thinking about it! They hold open houses working with different vendors to help with your wedding process. Missy also has alot of contacts with the vendors as well for anything you might be looking for. Please book if you are thinking about it! You will not be disappointed!!

Amazing venue

My daughter had her wedding at Stoney Ridge in June and we had the absolute best experience from day one! It is the most beautiful venue and Missy and her husband go above and beyond to take care of you! She helped guide me through various questions and decisions from the beginning. The day of the wedding she helped coordinate and take care of us all! She is the sweetest and is very helpful! Missy helps calm the nerves when things get stressful. She is quick to help and respond and is very professional. We all had the best time and our guests loved every part of the wedding! We got so many compliments on the venue!

Beautiful venue and amazing Owners to work with

Stoney Ridge Villa is the most beautiful venue you will ever see! MUST SEE IN PERSON! It’s even more gorgeous in person than the photos! Missy is truly a amazing human and we were so incredibly grateful to have had our wedding experience with her and Stoney Ridge! My husband and I were living out of state but engaged in Fort Worth. Knowing we were flying back home shortly after, I emailed very late on a Saturday about possibly seeing the venue before we left town and she surprisingly emailed me back that night saying she could let us come by that next evening to view the venue. We toured the venue for almost 3 hours! Missy is a gem! Any and every possible question we had, she happily answered for us! She gave us opinions on different options we could do and was incredibly helpful with picturing the overall wedding day look. There are multiple outdoor ceremony/cocktail hour/ reception options as well as indoor option for all as well! I think we fell in love with how unique you can make your own wedding. No two weddings will ever be the same at this venue and that’s what makes it so special! Fast forward to wedding day and everything was beautiful and perfect! We could not have pictured a better venue and owners to work with! Missy is very professional, checks in often with you, and is incredibly fast at responding to your emails! She always has an answer to any question you may have and if she happens to not know she will find it out for you! You will not go wrong with Stoney Ridge! We had the best wedding day!

Best decision ever!

Stoney Ridge Villa was the BEST decision I made for my wedding. The venue is absolutely stunning with three beautiful spaces to host your ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and afterparty. I always envisioned my wedding ceremony on a romantic villa balcony and Stoney Ridge completely delivered-- this venue makes you feel like you're in Europe. The reception hall was huge, so regal and kept us from the elements during our dinner. The courtyard was steps away from the ceremony and the most stunning outdoor space for cocktail hour and afterparty. One of the best things about this venue is that literally every corner is picture-perfect and will wow your guests. We got so many compliments from all around and I can guarantee you everyone will remember your wedding.

They also have an open vendor policy (except for bartending) and allowed us to bring-your-own-alcohol which helped save us so much money. It also made it so much easier for planning and selecting vendors we loved and splurge on the things we wanted.

Lastly, Missy and her husband, the owners and operators, are the kindest couple who really care about your special day. They really went out of their way to help us with everything and Missy always responded to all my emails so quickly. They truly treat every couple like their own family and really care more about you having the best event rather than just serving a client. You can tell they really love what they do and don't treat each event as just a business transaction but an memorable experience.

Amazing venue and amazing staff

This is the most beautiful venue and experience I have had in a long time. Working with Missy and the team is such an amazing experience, as they most definitely do everything they can to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. With a lot of last minute cancellations as well as the overall rush of things Missy was always able to provide us with almost anything we forgot or needed. We are so great full for the experience and the amazing service and assistance that was provided.

AMAZING - Wish I could get married here every weekend!

I can't say enough kind things about this venue and its owner, Missy. First off, we knew this venue was probably *the one* well over a year ago when we first got engaged. In the pictures it was absolutely beautiful. It absolutely lived up to the hype - it has both indoor and outdoor areas (uses of any area are included in her pricing), an incredible bridal suite, and from the moment we met Missy we knew she'd give us incredible service.

Throughout the wedding planning process (which lasted for more than a year) Missy was always responsive to all our questions. She made everything easy for us. It was also a huge perk that the venue included table / chairs setup in their pricing, and they even include the linens for side tables (e.g. cocktail tables, buffet tables, etc) so we only had to get linens for the main dining tables.

We'd envisioned an entirely outdoor wedding, and for the start of May our main concern was rain! It ended up that the heat would be our enemy - the forecasts were calling for 95+ degree weather. Missy sent me a nice email to allow me to consider some indoor options for parts of the reception without completely flipping our vision upside-down. She suggested still holding the ceremony on their white patio since it'd be shaded still, then flipping the dinner portion indoors and holding desserts + dancing outside after the sun set. She made me feel very comfortable with this plan - it also allowed our guests to enjoy a beautiful sunset off one of their patios!

Best yet, even with all these last-minute changes, Missy was EXTREMELY accommodating and didn't charge us extra fees. She even kindly offered that we could use some of her in-house linens for the outdoor dessert tables at no charge.

This was by far one of the best-priced venues in the area. It books out quickly, and I can see why. Amazing service, beautiful venue, and great price. I wish I could get married again just to be able to work with Missy and be in this amazing venue again! THANK YOU MISSY!!!!!

You won’t find a better venue and owner!

Our breath was taken away the moment we drove into the venue and continued to be taken away until our grand exit on the wedding. After spending an hour with Missy on the tour we knew we didn’t need to look anywhere else. Not only because the venue was stunning but because it is owned and managed by good people. Communication over the next nine months was flawless. SRV responded like we were their own client even though they are busy with several weddings a week year round. They were clear with what they provided and held vendor shows for us to find all the other details we needed. The wedding day was wonderful. It was ready for our arrival. The staff was friendly and had answers for any questions. They were running all day with the rest of our vendors to make sure everything was perfect. And it was. It was perfect! It’s almost a month after our wedding and we’re still having guest reach out to us about how beautiful our wedding was.

Just Amazing

The first time we went to Stoney Ridge Villa to get a tour we saw it sitting up on the hill as we drove up and knew there and then it was our place. Then we got inside and besides how beautiful and well decorated it is we met Missy. It was instant chemistry and it never faltered. She took us on a tour of the place showing us all the good photo spots, telling us all the different ways people utilize the space, and being genuinely happy and excited to be our venue for our wedding. Nothing she ever said or did felt like a line or forced and for the entire year from when we booked to our wedding date she kept up with us. Checking in, making recommendations if we asked, happily telling us dimensions of areas, tables, etc. They recommended the vendor that we used for fireworks(a professional outfit that got the permits, had the fire marshal approval, even having a firetruck on property to be extra safe). Also as we didn’t want cake and needed dessert, they introduced us to an actual ice cream truck that came for 2 hours. Spongebobs, bomb pops, all the good ice cream truck stuff! It was perfect and we only knew because Missy was there for us the whole time. They set up the tables for the reception according to our layout and even offered some helpful suggestions on that too. Every guest was shuttled from the ample parking right to the stairs for the ceremony, or if mobility issues were present to an area with no stairs close to the ceremony area as well. Missy was present the entire night and worked tirelessly with our co-ordinator to make sure everything went without a hitch.
We were concerned when reaching out to people that the fact that our wedding was for two men might be a problem. With Stoney Ridge it wasn’t even questioned or side eyed once. They were welcoming and lovely to us from start to finish. Missy even got upset when we mentioned it was something we were concerned with, because she believes celebrating love is ALWAYS a good thing! Something well worth keeping in mind for anyone doing an LGBT event
I can’t say enough about how perfect the entire experience with Stoney Ridge and Missy were! The only downside to it all is that, well, we probably won’t have another wedding and won’t be able to use them again and again!

The best place to get married!

We got married on March 12 of this year and it was amazing! We met Missy, the owner, the day we toured and fell in love with the venue & her!! Booked it on the spot. Missy was so incredibly helpful, excellent communication, patient with our many questions, & altogether a joy to have around. On the day of the wedding her and her husband were there helping set up bright & early, throughout the day and at the end of the night. We got soo many complements from our guests on how beautiful the venue was (we agree!!). I highly recommend Stoney Ridge Villa—the place & the people are 100/100 stars!

Look no further! You've found the best place!

Best wedding reception location! Owners, Missy and David, are extremely easy to work with. Missy is always available and has an abundance of suggestions should you need any. She has a lot of vendors who are regularly hired by many couples which makes it so easy as they already know what to do and know the rules of the place. I highly suggest you attend one of her open houses to see the place and ask your plethora of questions to the many vendors that showcase their specialty. If you are unable to attend, make sure you tour the place. It doesn't disappoint. Lots of space for you, your bridesmaids, and groomsmen to get ready. My daughter was married in late February and we held the reception here. My daughter, her bridesmaids, myself, new son-in-law and his groomsmen all got ready here. There was lots of space!! It was a very memorable event that we will cherish. Lots of places for great photos! You have to see the place to really appreciate it. This place doesn't disappoint! Thank you Missy for being so easy to work with, all your suggestions, and having such a great place to have weddings and other special events!!! You were great!!!!! We loved it!!!!!

Absolutely amazing!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! When you visualize having the wedding of your dreams, there's no doubt that Stoney Ridge IS the venue in those dreams. This was the 1st venue we toured on our quest for finding a location and there was NOTHING else out there that compared. From the absolutely beautiful venue, views, and architecture to the personable and friendliness of the owners, there was not another venue that could top this one! There are so many versatile options, especially for last minute changes. Our guests and wedding party couldn't stop complimenting how beautiful the wedding and venue was.

Missy has the best spirit and was more than helpful along the way. She always had encouraging words, especially leading up to the day of. I am so grateful that we chose Stoney Ridge and can't thank Missy and her husband enough.

Dream venue

From the moment we walked in Stoney Ridge Villa we knew it was the place for us. Not only is the place GORGEOUS, but the owners are some of the most kind people I’ve ever met. Idk how i would have made it through without Missy’s constant words of encouragement! She was the best!!! She gave the venue a more homey feel. The day of my wedding was hectic to say the least. Missy was available to me all evening as needed, i really wish she would offer a day of coordinator package because she would be amazing! These are people who LOVE what they do and don’t look at you like just another client. Amazing amazing amazing. Amazing views inside and out!

Tour this venue! That will help you decide :D I was told by multiple vendors that pictures do not do it justice and I completely agree. The second you drive down Stoney Ridge Rd and see the top of the venue, you get pulled into it's beauty. All the guests at our wedding also fell in love with the venue the second they entered the driveway. The views are amazing! Missy and Dave are so great! And it's just far out enough from the city to feel like you're in a completely different place. Perfect for our Mexican style wedding.

The Stoney Ridge staff truly go above and beyond for their couples getting married at their venue.

I’ve been photographing weddings for 11 years ,and nothing that compares to Stoney Ridge.

I love how large the property is. You can photograph any time of day! The bridal and grooms suite both have an exterior door where you can pop out for beautiful photos with bridesmaids/groomsmen. This is helpful to keep the bride and groom separate until the ceremony or first look. You’ll be thankful for this quick photo op on your wedding day…especially in the Texas Heat!

They have multiple ceremony options that are all stunning. After the ceremony the rooftop photos are unbelievable! You can see downtown Fort Worth from the roof! It’s magical.

Missy, Dave and their entire staff are truly good people. I’ve photographed many weddings there and I’ve never heard a single bad word about them or their venue. Only how much they LOVED their wedding and are so happy with them vendor and venue choices!

Stunning venue and venue owner

If you don’t book this wedding venue, you will not have the perfect wedding! I had my wedding here June 6th and absolutely fell in love with everything about this venue but the venue owner Missy is absolutely incredible!!!! She is such a sweetheart and helped out 110% with everything. She helped me make the most beautiful wedding here and let me do what I wanted with decor I was dreaming about. Just book this venue, it’s absolutely worth it. Thank you Missy for everything!!! I’ll never forget you or this gorgeous venue

Stoney Ridge Villa

We got married here in May and I can't say enough great things about it! First of all, you'll be hard pressed to find a nicer, more helpful venue owner than Missy! It was so nice working with her and her family versus being at a corporate run venue. She is so responsive (like impressively fast) and in general she's just really caring and happy. It makes a HUGE difference in the planning process to have a venue owner checking up on you versus just feeling like a date on the calendar. Second, the venue itself is GOREGOUS! All you have to do is go take a tour and it totally speaks for itself. It was the only place we saw that had a great mix of indoor/outdoor space. There are so many different spaces to entertain guests and the photo ops. are endless! I also loved that there was more than enough space to get ready in the main house and entertain our family that came early. Stoney Ridge Villa truly was the perfect venue for our wedding day! All we need now is another reason to go back!

Absolutely recommend

I couldn’t have imagined a better venue and wedding day coordinator for our special day than the wonderful people at Stoney Ridge Villa. My experience with Melissa (Missy) from the beginning of our venue tour to the final steps we took on the gorgeous staircase of Stoney Ridge was undeniably perfect! My husband and I planned our entire wedding in under 3 months but Melissa took the stress off of it with her attentiveness to detail and special care for our day. My vendors were in direct communication with Melissa throughout my wedding day which allowed me to stay stress free and able to enjoy my wonderful celebration. We are so very blessed to have found not only a jaw dropping venue but amazing staff that helped piece everything together. I truly recommend Stoney Ridge Villa for your event!

The perfect wedding venue!

Stoney Ridge Villa was up there with our favorite vendors! Every time I got anxious about something Missy always seemed to know exactly what to say to help calm me down! They think of everything we might need and hussle to help make sure that everything was perfect for my special day! Even when they didn't have too. And don't get me started on the actual venue!! We loved it the moment we stepped in it! It transports you to a beautiful international evening right in the middle of Azle, TX! Every place you walk to is so romantic and I haven't seen any other venue like it. It is a must have venue that all the guests will talk about! One of the best things is you don't need a lot to decorate this place. It is beautiful all on its own. Thank you Stoney Ridge for being the perfect venue partner to work with. I wouldn't have wanted it anywhere else!! Will recommend it until My husband and I are celebrating 100 years of marriage!

Wedding of the Year

I found this hidden gem thanks for Monclova’s. I am so happy we were able to go tour it. The history is amazing! I believe it was a German architect and his wife was from Mexico. You can see all the textures of Spanish and Mediterranean throughout the property. Details are everything. Mrs. Missy was the first person we met and she was/is AWESOME! She’s so nice and willing to help you every step of the way. Every penny was worth it. We fell in love as soon as we saw it and on wedding day, our guests and the photographer/videographer had a field day! There were so many places to take selfie’s and the view is everything! It was such a blessing to be here and we’ve made friends during this process. On top of that, they’re Navy Veterans. Mrs. Missy took some pictures as she was going throughout the wedding day because she knew I wasn’t going to be able to see ANYTHING. I was so busy LOL she got me Bridal’s and pictures of our reception area! I’m #TeamNavyBrat! It was such a beautiful day and we are so grateful to Mr. & Mrs. Parrish for letting us have our dream wedding on their property. Blessings!

Stoney Ridge Villa is an absolute gem!

My favorite things about Stoney Ridge:
-Missy, the owner. She was responsive, kind, involved, and made a point to randomly check in on me throughout the process. She also has random wedding things I was able to use, did the basic setup/tear down of tables & chairs, and had the Bridal Fair where I met 2 of my vendors. Thankful for her!
-The actual buildings themselves are just gorgeous. Indoor/outdoor. Many, many places for pictures and your events. I had my bridals taken here as well, and it was a blast! I can’t adequately describe how many photo ops there are, nor how diverse the options are. Please go visit them.
-There is always an easily workable rainy day plan. We personally didn’t have to implement it, but it was there and ready to go.
-It’s open vendor so you can build your event however you want.. What’s great is they have chairs, tables, and tablecloths for the vendors so you have that base to start out with. Simplified the process immensely.
-When you book your day, it’s Your’s. This was a big thing for me, no shared spaces.
-The Bridal Suite is welcoming and fun to hang out in. There are several rooms so everyone who needs space has it. Groom Suite is nice, and there is this fabulous couch area for the families/anyone who had to be there early to hang out in. There’s also a Keurig. Huge plus!

Highly Recommended

Me and my husband got married at Stoney Ridge Villa in January and it was perfect. This venue has such a cool vibe and has so many different location opportunities which really helped my guests feel comfortable during this pandemic. This also made for so many fabulous photo ops including the roof!

This was the first venue I walked and decided on this location (without looking at any others!) because of the gorgeous dining hall, the beautiful courtyard and exterior areas, the luxurious bridal suite, the breathtaking views during sunset, and all the amazing details in the building itself. Whatever style you pick for your wedding or event, Stoney Ridge has something for you!

The owner, Missy, was immediately very welcoming and friendly. She was so easy to work with and honestly, being my first wedding, made planning and executing that much easier. She is such a joy and you can tell that she really gives your occasion her all. She was readily available for any question I had, and there were several times when I reached out via email very late at night not expecting to hear back from her until the next day and she answered that night!! She overshot all expectations and I can’t thank her enough for all of her help. She is so amazing at what she does.

Our Perfect Day at Stoney Ridge Villa

My husband and I got to spend one of the most important days of our lives at Stoney Ridge Villa on December 19, 2020 to officially tie the knot! From the moment we stepped in for our first tour, we knew Stoney Ridge was the place for us. This is a unique and gorgeous venue that sits on top of a hill providing the best sunset views and natural picture backdrop. Not only is the venue absolutely STUNNING, but the owners, Missy and Dave, truly helped make the day absolutely perfect and run so smoothly. By the end they felt like family, and it is very evident that they care so much about each of their couples and their families personally, and not just for their money. Missy and Dave were so helpful through the entire wedding process with their quick communication, support, and advice for our big day. We couldn't have made a better decision in choosing to to celebrate our love at Stoney Ridge Villa!

Top Notch Service and Scenery

We had our wedding at Stoney Ridge in November 2020 and it was one of the best decisions we made! There are so many great things to say about this place. First, Missy is incredibly sweet and easy to work with. She responds quickly to all questions and makes the planning process simple. Second, the venue itself is stunning! We originally visited in April and weren’t sure what the foliage would look like in the fall. But in all seasons it proved to be equally beautiful. Many of our guests commented that the hilltop scenery and villa make you feel as if you’ve escaped to a Mediterranean city. There are many options for beautiful outdoor photos so make sure you schedule enough time with your photographer :) Lastly, the open vendor policy really allows you to customize every aspect of your event to fit your style and budget. From start to finish, we had an awesome experience with Stoney Ridge and would highly recommend it to someone looking for a unique and affordable space. Highly Recommended Venue for Your Wedding!

Since our first walk through to the actual wedding day, our experience with Missy and David at Stoney Ridge Villa has been exceptional!! When driving through the front gates and walking through the front doors, we knew it would be magical. The main house was gorgeous with an amazing Bridal suite and Groom suite to get ready with the rest of the main house for comfort and great wedding day photos. Our ceremony took place on the outdoor balcony which looked amazing as our family and friends attended safely. The open courtyard was great for our cocktail hour for social distancing and the reception hall was large enough to keep our guests safe. If you are looking for a magical venue for your wedding, look no further as Stoney Ridge Villa is the venue for you. Unforgettable Memories are Meant to be Made Here!

This is absolutely the most beautiful venue you will ever see. Before we ever searched for venues I had tons of Mediterranean villas on my Pinterest board just a dream...never thinking there was anything like this in Texas... and as soon as we walked into Stoney Ridge we knew it was the one. We planned our wedding in 6 weeks and Missy’s hospitality helped make it possible. She went out of her way to make sure all of our questions were answered and provided us with AMAZING recommendations from people she trusts and know provide quality service. Missy and her husband genuinely want you to have an unforgettable experience and really know how to run a wedding day. It poured rain while we were outside saying our vows and her team immediately began transforming the inside venue (which we had not planned using) into the best reception we could ask for. Our guests still talk about Stoney Ridge and I couldn’t imagine being married anywhere else!

Absolutely Stunning Venue

Missy (the owner) was incredible to work with and very flexible with all our needs for our wedding! She checked in with us from time to time leading up to the wedding and gave us ideas on how/where to have different layouts for each “segment” of our wedding. The venue itself is incredibly beautiful, from the architecture to the vines growing all over the Villa, and is big enough to offer a plethora of options on what backdrop you’d like the ceremony to have as well as pictures. The Mediterranean style of the venue was exactly what we were looking for and was so unique from all the other venues we looked at, that it literally had us both say “wow” as soon as we opened the front door. We planned on having around 125 people but due to covid, only about 80 ended up showing, but even if 125 did show, there would’ve been plenty of room. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue and more pleasant owner in Missy to work with!

Beautiful venue!

Our wedding was exactly as we pictured it at Stoney Ridge! We were glad we decided to use the courtyard for our reception, as we got many compliments from our guests. The outdoor landscaping areas are perfect for pictures. We're glad we chose this venue, and many of our guests mentioned they felt like they were somewhere else, not in Azle, Texas. Such a beautiful venue with plenty space to fit our guests. :)

Fantastic Venue!

I cant even begin to explain how wonderful this wedding venue is! It’s absolutely stunning and I was very picky on where I wanted my wedding venue to be. As soon as I saw this place, I knew it had to be here! It’s like a palace... it’s so nice! The bridal suite is to die for! It’s huge with so many rooms and absolutely beautiful! You would not regret choosing this venue at all. It also has very good pricing for all that you are getting. I love how many locations you can even choose to have your ceremony, but yet have access to it all! I had a beautiful wedding and am so glad that we chose this place. Amazing Venue!

You cannot go wrong with booking Stoney Ridge Villa for your wedding day. The venue offers a luxurious experience with plenty of room to enjoy! Being a bride in 2020 was very challenging, but luckily Missy, helped make our special day go perfect! After our wedding plans for a destination wedding were cancelled twice because of Covid, we booked Stoney Ridge for a third attempt at planning a special day for us. Having already felt defeated before beginning the planning process for our third try, Missy's consistent positive attitude, flexibility, professionalism, and encouragement helped us get through a very stressful time in the planning process. She personally helped make me feel excited to be a bride again. Words can't express the gratitude I feel for having selected and worked with Stoney Ridge Villa for our wedding day! Missy is fantastic and just the sweetest person, she went above and beyond to make our wedding special! Stoney Ridge Villa was our dream destination wedding and the venue we were looking for all along! It had everything we wanted and more! Stoney Ridge Villa is just absolutely stunning and the owners are so amazing. I LOVE the views from the venue, it is so unique and nothing like I've seen before! It honestly feels like you are on a beautiful Mediterranean Vacation! Best decision we made with planning our wedding!

There are so many wonderful things I can say about this venue and the owners. My husband and I had our wedding there October 2019. We picked this venue because of the scenery, the different layout options, and that we had the venue all day. Missy and Dave went above and beyond our expectations and supported us with the management of a least a couple of our vendors (not in their scope). All of the guests were impressed with the venue and the hospitality by the owners, which are all hands on deck before, during and after the event. It's been a couple of months and people are still talking about the wedding and the beautiful venue! Its somewhere I'd love to have an anniversary party at or any special event at for that matter. SUPERB!!

So Glad We Found Stoney Ridge

We were having a hard time finding the right place and were so lucky to find Stoney Ridge. The venue and location are very beautiful and we absolutely loved working with Missy. They really put us at ease and made the whole process very pleasant. Our wedding was beautiful and we got a lot of compliments on the venue. This place is a real gem. Thank you.

Best wedding venue EVER!

The venue is absolutely gorgeous - not only we fell in love the first time we visited, all our guests told us this was the best venue they’d been to! Both of us have been to a lot of weddings all around the world and we have extremely high standard. We have looked at quite a few places too in and out of Dallas and so glad we found this eventually!

Missy and Dave are great to work with - they’re always responsive leading up to the event and on the day of engagement photos, bridal portraits and wedding day - they went the extra miles to ensure we are happy.

Do NOT book anything until you check this place out! You will not regret this!
