I threw a large 50th surprise party at Fire Rock Grille and they were amazing. From the food to the service, they went above and beyond. 10/10 recommend.

Firerock Grille has become our go-to for everything from annual private company parties to group dinners, and we’re here almost weekly for happy hour. The team consistently delivers an excellent experience, whether it’s a large, planned event or a casual visit. A special shoutout to Zach, who goes above and beyond every single time—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. His best-in-class service makes every visit feel seamless and memorable. Highly recommend for both special events and regular nights out.

Stonewater did a great job helping us with our school golf outing! Everything was set up on time, and the staff was very helpful with last minute changes. We have used Stonewater for our golf outing and our school auction for the past few years, and each year gets better.

We had a baby shower for our daughter there and it was perfect! Great space, good food and friendly staff! We had 30 people and the price point was good. Have had other showers here before as well!!

We recently held our 3rd Golf Outing Fundraiser with Stonewater Country Club with a follow-up gala for the golfers. The staff at Stonewater were wonderful to work with and communication was very good from the first day to day of event. Would highly recommend their space!

We had 2 rooms with 75 people total, the staff were so helpful and professional, the food was great, and the drink stations were kept stocked.

Every year, we have an event for our clients at StoneWater Country Club, and our staff and clients love it! Working with the staff is easy, and they provide great service! Our clients always compliment the food and look forward to having it the following year! Anna has always been a HUGE help and she is a great person to work with! Some of our clients have food allergies, and the kitchen staff has always been accommodating to their needs! We had our last event with them on 1/22/25 and we are looking forward to another one next year!

Have chosen to do our work christmas dinners here for a few years. Every year we look forward to the good food and good drinks. We are never disappointed.

Stonewater Country Club did a great job on our son's rehearsal dinner. The staff was professional and helpful. We had a gorgeous private room equipped with all the amenities necessary which gave us ample space to mingle with our guests. The buffet was delicious and served hot. I highly recommend this place for all your events.

It's a great space with multiple set up and capacity options. Great for small events, or large. Food is always top notch. The facility itself is very pretty and kept up, the views of the golf course are great and the privacy in the Banquet Area is great.

We have had our company party (50-60 people) at Stonewater Country Club for two years in a row now and I am positive we'll keep going back. The event coordinator, Anna, is fantastic and really pays attention to details and accommodates most requests. She made the process very easy. The food and drinks were delicious and everyone had a really good time! We loved the room our event was held in. Very cozy with a fireplace and nice lighting. They made it easy for us to do our trivia game with a super easy laptop hookup and projector screen that was big enough for everyone to see. All in all a great experience!

After Covid almost every place you go to it’s like people do not provide good quality service. BUT this place has always provided top quality service. The food, drinks and staff are so helpful and friendly. It’s so refreshing to find such a great place.

We loved this venue for our rehearsal dinner. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the facility was beautiful, the staff was helpful and thoughtful, and the food was delicious. We couldn’t be happier!

Stonewater was everything and more! Lynzie, Event Sales Manager, was superb with communication and super flexible with my wishes and last minute details. She literally took the stress out of my wedding planning, which was done in less than four months! The facility itself is beautiful. Had my ceremony and reception all in main banquet room. We had an amazing wedding ceremony and reception at Stonewater! Lynzie was so helpful during the process. We lived out of state which was stressful but the communication with the course was professional and very helpful! The day of went so perfect and we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out!

My husband and I booked our wedding reception at Stonewater. Our experience there was excellent! Anyone who talked to us about the wedding told us they loved the venue, and it looked beautiful. Their staff executed dinner perfectly, and ironed out any kinks (those happen at every wedding).

Stonewater was a great venue! It was a perfect location and has indoor/outdoor options for your guests. I am an event planner as a profession and Lauren was great to work with. She was always very responsive and thorough. The staff was always engaged and went out of their way to assist my husband and I. We were finishing up pictures before being announced and the banquet managers brought my husband and I a drink and some appetizers to make sure we were comfortable before going into the reception. The food was delicious. We did a chicken/filet duet plate and our guests loved it. I would recommend Stonewater Country Club to any wedding!

We just had our wedding in July 2016 with Stonewater and absolutely loved it. The place itself is so beautiful barely any decorations are required and all of the staff is extremely awesome. We worked with Lauren who was an absolute joy. They were willing to help accomadate to everything we wanted to make our wedding day turn out perfect!

From the moment we walked in we loved the place! We enjoyed working with Adrien very much, she was very helpful and yet let us personalize our reception just the way we wanted it. We brought in a coffee barista service from Ann Arbor, which was new for SWCC, and they were very accommodating. We used a King's Table seating arrangement instead of a traditional head table and they were flexible about that, too. Our plated meal was great, lots of compliments (we had three choices for our guests plus they let us add on a couple of vegetarian plates on top of that). We did use their preferred baker to avoid any cake cutting fees, but that was the only thing we would change if we had the chance -she just didn't hit a home run. We also booked off season so we didn't have to pay a room fee and they lowered the minimum purchase significantly - great way to have a deluxe event but not break the bank. We tell everyone that they won't regret choosing Stonewater CC.

Stonewater Country Club was a perfect setting for the wedding of our son and his bride!! They were friendly and easy to work with and the food was the "best wedding dinner ever" heard from several of the guests! Couldn't have asked for a better venue and people to work with!! Special shout out to Tom and Melissa at Stonewater and Adrien at Watermark....they made it all happen!!

We had our reception here and we loved it! The food was phenomenal and the room was just beautiful! The staff was so helpful in planning and setting everything up and were so attentive the night of the wedding. We really appreciated that we didn't have to worry about anything throughout the entire reception and dinner process. We got so many compliments on the entire reception and dinner set up!

Stonewater Country Club is a very beautiful setting for a reception and the food was by far the best of any venue/caterer we tried. Hats off to the chef who made exceptional food and to my exact specifications. It was served at the perfect time, temperature, presentation, etc. Everyone loved it! The staff at Stonewater CC was very friendly and accommodating, however, at times they seemed a bit unorganized in regards to behind the scenes/paperwork/office stuff ---not anything regarding the actual event itself...that was top notch. Everything was very lovely, clean, looked good, tasted good, pleasant servers/manager, etc. I had visited several different venues and attended 4 weddings in the months preceding ours and this was by far the most impressive, had the best food and ambiance, and the best value! Our guests had a fantastic time, and so did we. If we did it all over again, we would definitely choose Stonewater or any of the other Watermark locations (Watermark or Sunnybrook).

The space itself has high ceilings and great lighting mixed between natural through large windows and beautiful chandeliers. We went with a pot roast and chicken buffet and we received so many compliments about how good the food was from guests and our other vendors alike. The bar service was attentive and there was never a line as they satisfied all of our guests' thirsts. Even though we ended up working with 3 different event coordinators during the planning process, each was very professional and responsive with questions.

Lynzie did a great job with our wedding. She was on top of everything. She even went outside to pick us some flower petals for my flower girls, as the flower company didn't deliver. She truly made our day!! The place is big and beautiful, very elegant with little for us to do on the big day!!

We absolutely loved having our reception at Stonewater. Besides the expensive outside dessert fee (for any dessert they have their own version of, including ice cream, cookies, cupcakes/cake, etc) of $2.00 per person, everything was so worth the money. All of our guests had a wonderful night and it was everything we were hoping for. We wouldn’t have gone with a different reception venue if we did it all over again!

Pros: Gorgeous venue with an outdoor patio and fireplace. Food was delicious and served all at once so no one had to wait. Very professional and took things away very quickly. Great selection of options for the price point.

Cons: They served the wrong beer at our reception. Put out a tip jar even though we were still required to pay a 20% gratuity for the bar staff on the total served bar bill. Changed wedding coordinators after we had served the contract. Could only let us into the venue at 11 am the day of the event.

The venue itself was gorgeous. Everything was exceptionally clean and they worked with us to find the perfect layout. The food was great, and many of our guests commented so.

We held a luncheon here, and it was a success. The room was laid out nicely, and the staff were very accommodating.

We had both our ceremony and reception at Stonewater and I think our guests really appreciated having everything in one place. Lynzie was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during the planing process. She allowed me to drop of many items the evening before and got them set up for us perfectly on the big day (seating chart, welcome sign, sand ceremony items, etc.). she also coordinated with our linen vendor and set up the ceremony chair rental, which meant there were a couple of less things on my plate. I really appreciated that. One small note, they don't really have a private place for the bridal party to get ready so we had to get ready elsewhere and they do not allow you to take photographs on the golfcourse aside from the patio area. That was one thing I wish I knew before I signed the contract. Otherwise, it was a good experience and I would recommend them to other couples.

Such a beautiful place for a wedding . Have attended numerous weddings there and they were both spectacular . Amazing food and service and very nice place .

StoneWater's Staff for the day of our wedding was really amazing! The food was fantastic, the beverage service was on point, and everyone made sure that I had a great experience as well as all of my guests! I had so many guests come up to me or write me after our wedding to say how impressed they were with the welcoming service they experienced. It may not be the least expensive venue in Grand Rapids, but you definitely get more than you pay for in terms of the experience.

I would definitely recommend working with StoneWater Country Club and any of the other Watermark Properties as well!

Stonewater is an absolutely beautiful venue, and their food is delicious. My experience was frustrating up until a few weeks before my wedding because the wedding coordinator, Faith, was almost completely nonresponsive after we'd signed the contract, and when she did respond, she didn't follow through getting any information we'd asked for. A few weeks before the wedding, we met with a different employee, Krystle, who was much more responsive and easier to work with. Our reception went off beautifully, and I was very happy with it; if not for the stress and uncertainty of dealing with a nonresponsive coordinator for the majority of the planning process (we signed the contract a year in advance), the venue would have gotten a nearly perfect review from us. I will say, though, that Faith no longer works there (which is why we received a new coordinator shortly before the wedding), so I now would have no qualms about recommending Stonewater to another bride.

Stonewater offers a great place to hold a wedding reception! We had access to all the rooms that they offer, and it provided plenty of space for our wedding and it wasn't too cramped. Anna was easy to work with in planning. It was a very hot day and we asked Stonewater to make sure the AC was blasting, and it was nice and cool for the reception. We have had lots of compliments on the food! Would definitely recommend the braised beef. Only complaint was in the setup of the reception because some of the tables were missing chairs. Also, some of the tables, like the coffee table, had stains. These were fixed once my aunt had found the correct staff member.

Nice place for a wedding. Good Food. Tom, the banquet manager is great to work with. Only bad experience was that they don't have an inhouse speaker system, so if you plan on showing a slide show, etc- it doesnt look good. at. all.
