Stone Ridge Hollow is the absolutely stunning venue for wedding. We had a great experience with joy and laughter. The view is scenic and beautiful. I specially want to thank Dan who made it happen with his thorough effort. Thank you Dan for everything. -

Thank you to everyone at Stone Ridge Hollow for helping us achieve the wedding of our dreams on a rainy afternoon in October. Eileen Rice is the most welcoming, kindhearted person, and she made the venue process so simple. Our Day Of Coordinator, Abbie Rose, handled everything personally and professionally, and she truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect (even going so far as to lend her dress sleeve as an emergency napkin before entrances!). We'd like to drop a special shout out to Lindsay Gahs as well for her late night responses, taking care of details leading up to our wedding day, and personal touch! Words cannot describe how thankful we are for the Stone Ridge Hollow team. There's no better place in Maryland to say, "I do!"

We had our wedding at this amazing venue on 10/30/22. SRH staff is awesome and responds quickly and professionally. Staff brought our Halloween/fall wedding vision to life and it was beautiful and perfect! Outside landscaping is beautiful during the fall and the mums and pumpkins around the venue added to our dream wedding! Venue was very accommodating and even added an additional 2 hours to the farm house last minute to help with bridal hair and makeup time line without even a blink of an eye. We loved SRH and were very lucky that our wedding date was available so we could have our wedding here. We had 160 guests and still had plenty of space for walking around and dancing. Added Bonus for large weddings or events during any season, SRH has many beautiful bathrooms and is for all seasons with AC and heat!! Truly the best day ever!
The staff at SRH was absolutely wonderful and helped our dream wedding come true. All the details we had envisioned were brought to life on the day of. Communication with staff was flawless and the venue director Eileen went above and beyond to make sure all of our requests were met. I can’t imagine getting married anywhere else than SRH. You won’t find another venue like this!!! The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. You will feel welcome and comfortable with everyone almost like family. Eileen is quick to respond to any questions you have and always with a positive attitude. She even helps you with other vendors and really provides great insight on wedding info that can be extremely overwhelming. Lindsay and Julia are SUPERSTARS they can handle any task and provide useful insight. The day of the wedding you won’t have to stress or worry because they have you covered! The property is absolutely gorgeous and a photographers dream. It’s more than just a farmhouse/barn wedding venue and you won’t regret getting married here!Stone Ridge Hollow's reply:

We had the most perfect day at our dream venue- all thanks to the wonderful folks at Stone Ridge Hollow!! This was the first venue my husband I toured and as soon as we got there and walked inside I knew this was where I wanted our wedding to be! Our experience improved tenfold when we met our day of coordinator, Lindsay, who was the most organized, fun, helpful, down to earth, available (I don't even know how long some of our email threads got) day of coordinator in the business!! All of our visions came true all thanks to Lindsay and my husband and I couldn't be more grateful! I was so touched by the attention and detail she put into making our wedding the BEST- like calling me the morning of the wedding just to make sure there weren't any last minute emergencies or something I needed at the last second! I'm telling you- she is one of a kind! On the day our guests had the best time at our wedding and so many people were absolutely blown away by how beautiful the venue was. I couldn't recommend SRH more. Thank you thank you thank you Lindsay, Eileen (and Trish), and all the staff at SRH!! -

Absolutely the best day of my entire life.
It started two years ago when we started planning our wedding, when we visited a wedding expo and I just KNEW that was our venue. Then fast forward to meeting Eileen, Trish, Lindsay and the rest of the crew and I just fell in love with everyone! They were the most excitable and fun people I’ve ever met. So sweet, kind and helpful. I would a million times out of 10 recommend this place to everyone! Our day was the absolute best day, not a single thing went wrong (or if it did they did so good at hiding it that I never noticed) lol wish we could do it all over again! -

Oh my goodness where do I even begin! When you first arrive on the property you have no choice but to smile, the property is breathtakingly gorgeous, peaceful and serene. When you step in the barn you can instantly envision your perfect day! Stone Ridge has thought of everything - they make sure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently not only for the wedding party but for all the vendors. It seriously is the perfect venue , all of my vendors had the best time and rave about how Stone Ridge makes their jobs so much smoother. They seriously think of all the little important things that are game changer! The team at Stone Ridge is phenomenal ! I loved loved loved working with Lindsay, she was a fantastic day of Coordinator. She took out all the stress and I could just enjoy the day and I knew she had everything. I feel like not only do I have new friends for life but I feel like part of the Stone Ridge Family. You matter as an individual, your not a number. They take your vision and make it happen. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL venue. The staff was extremely helpful throughout the planning months taking into account we were planning out of state and assisting with everything they could for a smooth process. The day of coordinator, Julia, was magnificent in working hand in hand with my planner to ensure a flawless day. The venue director, Eileen, was eager to help with all of the small details leading up to the day. The most amazing venue
Truly a beautiful venue, it may be a ways out from the main city attractions but that was the selling point, it was quiet and secluded. They have tons of complimentary and rental decor to achieve anyone's vision. All the staff were great to work with and our day of coordinator Julia exceeded all our expectations!Stone Ridge Hollow's reply:

Beautiful venue!
This venue and the team that runs it are both amazing! The venue is gorgeous and our wedding photos are going to be epic! We received many compliments from our guests about how beautiful it is and what a hidden gem it is. I loved that they had a variety of complimentary decor that we could borrow as well as a day of coordinator included. Eileen, Lindsay, and Jodi were all so helpful before, during, and after the wedding! They were all super responsive and great at meeting us at the venue any time we needed to during the planning process. 10/10 would recommend booking this venue for your special day! -

Visiting many venues, I could not get enough of SRH. I came back three or four times before we finally signed the deal. Trish is absolutely amazing to work with and is there with you every step of the way. I can’t say enough how much she reassured me and my now husband throughout this process and getting married during a pandemic.
The venue is pricey but worth every penny. It is immaculate, you are given a day coordinator- I had Julia and she was fantastic! So many people complimented her on tasks she was doing that you don’t notice. And the view and many picture opportunities you can capture!

Look no further, you've found the BEST venue!
I do not even know where to begin with this review. Thank you to everyone at Stone Ridge Hollow for all of the help making my dream wedding a reality! 11/2/19 will be a day I will never forget and will cherish the memories always. When describing this venue I like to call it rustic elegance. There are no bad photographs here (special thanks to my photographer Gina with @southernshutterphotography). The property owners take such great care of the property and since I booked they have made several improvements. I love that they allow you to rent the property for 12 hours and that you can include the farmhouse. We spent the entire day on the grounds and it made it so smooth for all of my vendors. As the other reviewers mentioned Trish Getz the site coordinator is beyond amazing. Trish I can not speak highly enough about the work you do. She is ALWAYS available and willing to answer any questions and will help with special requests. Trish took away so many worries by being so helpful and accommodating. I could not imagine not having her to aid in my planning process. On the week of my wedding Trish was out of town attending a wedding and she still called to check in with me to ensure I was comfortable and ready for my big day. I challenge you to find anyone who cares more about their job and representing the venue they work for. I loved everything about my wedding day, the beautiful scenery, the well decorated barn, the flow from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. We challenged the team with all of the different things we wanted to do from a private outdoor ceremony to a cocktail hour and reception of 140. We had a DJ, a mariachi, an oyster shucker, and special entrance and Stone Ridge pulled it all off beautifully. A special shootout to Jodi my coordinator. I know we asked a lot of you but you were always positive and told us how much fun you were having working our event. You were a rockstar. I could go on and on about this venue and the staff, just know choosing Stone Ridge Hollow is the best decision you could make!!!!Stone Ridge Hollow's reply:

Stone Ridge Hollow is truly one of a kind. We stumbled upon this venue in our search and once we toured the property there was no turning back. It was exactly what we were looking for. The grounds alone are stunning and very well maintained. The barn is breathtaking. Brian (the owner) has done a great job of offering modern amenities while keeping the rustic charm alive. We were impressed with how much work he has put into the property and how he was continually making improvements based on feedback from previous and current clients. Whether you choose to have your ceremony outside or prefer the indoors, you cannot go wrong. Every setting is beautiful. Trish was a pleasure to work with. She was very accommodating to all of our questions and requests. Our day turned out to be everything we dreamed of and more. We found this place...by chance. But it was perfect since day 1! . The venue is just beautiful. I got married last week ( 7/6) , July wedding you need AC. So far the only barn with AC in all Harford county!! Trish is just amazing , she was always happy to help me with any crazy details. As she says ..I was her first tour! She did outstanding!! I will always remember her for helping me to create my perfect day!

I photographed a wedding at this venu on May 18, 2019. Ms. Getz was exceptionally accommodating and very professional. The venu is gorgeous and there isn’t a bad place to take a photo here! Also, Ms. Lindsay Gahs, the wedding coordinator, was outstanding! She is a photographers dream come true. She kept the night on schedule and was able to think quick on her feet. I would love to not only photograph another wedding at this venu, but I would love many more chances to work along side and Ms. Getz and Ms. Gahs! Wow! Stone Ridge Hollow is a fantastic wedding venue. My husband and I were one of the very first couples to book a wedding date at this venue. From the start, Stone Ridge Hollow was responsive, caring, and flexible. Trish answered emails immediately and genuinely cared about the couples getting married at Stone Ridge Hollow. The scenery was stunning and our photographs were amazing. On our wedding day, we felt like we were removed from the rest of the world. It was magical! We cannot recommend this venue enough. I am writing this review to not only inform future brides but in hope that the owners of this establishment will understand what kind of business they are running. To start, the venue is absolutely beautiful and if it wasn’t for how this situation was handled I would have recommended this venue. The only time I saw my wedding cake was on the ground to which was “replaced” with a 4” cake from shop rite. Not only was their no empathy from the owners, an employee also joked about dropping the cake to one of our venders. I remained calm & respectful however as I stated before the only time I saw my cake was upside down on the ground. So now not only did I not have my wedding cake at the wedding, a lot of money went to waste on that cake & we now do not have a cake to enjoy on our anniversary. Stone ridge hollow; please do better and learn common courtesy, people do not wait their whole lives for their wedding day to be less than perfect. -

Although my daughter's wedding was beautiful, the lack of respect & empathy (in my opinion) from the owners is less than par. Due to covid, many people post-poned or even canceled their events but we decided to move forward even though Stone Ridge could not honor what we originally agreed to in the contract. In addition, SRH staff dropped my daughter's cake with what seemed like no remorse. As a result of the cake incident we were over our time slightly discussing the resolution and gathering our belongings. At the end of our conversation, it was decided that we would get the value of the cake (and replacement anniversary cake) from the bakery and the difference between the cost of the cake & a decor rental invoice ($420) would be paid by the responsible party. That resolution was acceptable but then I received a call 3 days later stating that SRH was keeping my deposit for going over the time & not paying the $420 invoice. Many, if not all would have been livid if a venue ruined their daughter's wedding cake but I remained calm & understanding only to be thanked by the owners threatening to keep our deposit. Our coordinator Lindsay was a pleasure to work with but the owners, in my opinion seem to only care about their financial gain.Stone Ridge Hollow's reply:
Hosting a wedding during COVID came with challenges for every 2020 couple and each needed to make a choice if they would like to move forward with the Maryland mandated restrictions, or move into a later date. All items of the Stone Ridge Hollow Agreement was honored for everyone that decided to stay in 2020 and work with the new restrictions. The owners in their generosity provided complimentary draping and lighting (Value: $400.00) for every 2020 couple. A few weeks before this event, the Governor imposed further restrictions of a 10pm ending time, but we made another concession and allowed this couple to move forward with their originally planned 11am to 11pm time frame in order not to disrupt a timeline they had already created. Every email and phone call was kindly addressed. Extensions for the due dates for insurance and rental payments were extended. The venue was completely set up without asking for any assistance from the family. The owners of Stone Ridge Hollow are kind compassionate people who have given every 2020 couple extra time and decor along with providing the top staff. The bride and groom cake unfortunately was dropped while removing from the box, for which our porter felt devastated about. The owner quickly replaced it. Unfortunately this review does not truly reflect the efforts Stone Ridge Hollow's Team put into this event.
