We cannot say enough wonderful things about our wedding reception at Stone Ridge Golf Course — it was everything we had dreamed of and more! From the moment we booked the venue, the entire process was seamless, professional, and incredibly well-managed. A massive shoutout goes to our phenomenal coordinator, Chelsea. She was truly the heart and soul of our experience. Her attention to detail, calm demeanor, and passion for making every event perfect were evident from day one. She took the time to understand our vision, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made sure every element was executed flawlessly. Whether it was working with our vendors, managing the timeline, or ensuring our guests were comfortable and happy, Chelsea handled it all with grace and expertise. The venue itself is absolutely stunning — from the views of the golf course to the elegant reception space, everything was picturesque and photo-ready. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and every little detail came together so effortlessly — all thanks to Chelsea and the amazing team at Stone Ridge. We are so grateful for the memories we made and the experience we had. We Had a beautiful wedding in July 2024 Stone Ridge and Chelsea went above and beyond to make our dreams come true and to make our wedding beautiful. I can't express how easy Chelsea made it for us from setting everything up to tearing it all down for us. She made our day so stress free!! If your gonna plan a wedding i recommend doing it here! The food is beyond delicious and our guests loved the food!! -

I truly cannot recommend Stone Ridge GC enough - - their staff is AMAZING. Chelsea is an absolute hero & made my day absolutely perfect. I felt no stress around her and she was on top of things. Her communication was SO timely, the food was absolutely delicious (we still have family & friends telling us how yummy it was!), and the service was unmatched. I truly felt like Chelsea & her team gave us the definition of a perfect wedding day. -

The best night of my life
Our wedding was an absolute dream and we could have not asked for a better day, location or staff. We had the best night ever and made memories that will last a lifetime! Everyone loved the food and the atmosphere these guys created for us! The bartenders were fabulous and all the servers were great and very attentive. I will recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue to check these guys out. You hear so many horror stories about wedding but ours was just perfect. I truly truly appreciate everything they did for us! Thank you for the most special night! -

I could not have asked for a better experience when getting married! Chelsea and the staff at Stone Ridge are amazing. The venue is beautiful, and my guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten. Chelsea is so kind, and helps you through the entire process. I would highly recommend this venue. -

I cannot say enough good things about Stone Ridge! Chelsea is amazing to work with and so so helpful. She makes the day run so smoothly without you having to think too much about anything! The food was delicious, everyone kept complimenting us on the food and venue. Having the ceremony outside and moving inside for the reception was so easy and they even set it up for us which was amazing! I will always recommend Stone Ridge and Chelsea to everyone! -

We are absolutely IN LOVE with Stone Ridge and their staff! We got married there in August, and knew it was the perfect place the moment we walked in the golf club. We loved working with Chelsea as she felt honest. laid-back, and truly made our dreams come true. We truly couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue and staff members than what we received at Stone Ridge! Also, the food was AMAZING and people are still talking about the prime rib. Go see for yourself how much this venue has to offer! -

I could not have imagined having my wedding anywhere else! Stone Ridge really has it all; a fantastic staff, a beautiful venue and amazing food! The best part was having Chelsea there to help! I was really nervous about planning my wedding but after meeting her it put my worries at ease. Chelsea was absolutely amazing to work! She is so sweet and helpful which made the process an absolute breeze. I was so amazed to see the great job Chelsea and the rest of the Stone Ridge staff did at setting everything up, they really did such an amazing job transforming my vision into reality! The food was so delicious that I still have guests that talk about it. Our day went perfectly and I have Chelsea and the rest of the staff to thank for that! -

Chelsea is AMAZING! She answers every email, every question no matter how minor the detail is to the grand scheme of things. She truly made my husband and I feel special from the moment we toured the venue to the day after the wedding when we picked up all our décor. Chelsea and her team are amazing and will give 110% to make sure your special day is just how you envision it to be. She also made sure everything ran smoothly from getting ready to last call at the end of the night. There was plenty of things that the venue offered as part of our rental like table numbers and easels. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the fact that we could have our ceremony and reception in the same place was so important to us. The food was to die for and we are still getting compliments a month later on how tasty dinner was. The serving staff is polite and very good at being attentive. The bartenders were charismatic and fun to work with. We also liked being able to drop off all our décor and Chelsea helped put the tables together as well as tear everything down so that we could just come pick up boxes the next day. We keep looking at our wedding photos to reminisce on how perfect everything was. Thank you Chelsea and your team for making our wedding day so special and doing that for every couple that gets married at Stone Ridge. We truly wish we could have our wedding there every weekend and can't stop talking about how wonderful this venue really is. -

We got married here 9/28/19 and it was amazing! Kara and Chelsea were great. They stayed in touch with me through all of the bumps and snags that come with planning a wedding, and they didn’t hesitate to make accommodations for some of our guests with special dietary needs.
They set up the reception hall and ceremony more beautifully than I ever could, and the guests raved nonstop about the food and decor. If you’re considering having your wedding and/or reception here, do it! We are so happy with our experience. -

I can not say enough good things about Stone Ridge and more importantly, Kara Higdon.
It began with my sister's wedding in July, 2017. She had been referred to Stone Ridge by another family friend who had gotten married there and we could not have been happier with our experience as a family. Then the time came for me to choose a venue for my wedding in Sept. 2018. Having lived in Toledo my whole life, we had a ton of options to choose from, but the minute you say the word "wedding" the price jumps and you end up with a bill that you just can't afford. I knew that Stone Ridge was amazing and I knew it was affordable. We sat down with Kara and she assured us that we could make our wedding unique and special and that even though it was the same venue, it could be transformed to feel much different. Knowing their reputation we said yes. It was the best decision we could have made. It was so easy. So affordable. My wedding day was the most relaxing day I had had in months! Kara was on top of absolutely everything. She is such a delight and is so calm and assuring and exactly what you need on what can be the most stressful day of your life. We were able to enjoy every minute of our wedding day because of the care and service we had with Stone Ridge and the rest of our vendors. We are so grateful to Kara and her team for working so hard and allowing us to imagine exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. If you are looking for a venue that will take care of you every step of the way and treat you like the most important client they have at any given moment, Stone Ridge should be your choice! I have heard so many horror stories about venues and how brides and grooms have been treated. Stone Ridge is awesome. I highly recommend them for any event. Thank you to Kara and everyone there! Stone Ridge was the BEST decision we made when it came to our wedding day! My husband and I live in California and had to plan our entire wedding remotely. Kara made this process WAY easier than anticipated. Not only that, but we had to reschedule our entire day due to a military deployment 6 MONTHS EARLY and it was seamless. Every detail of the day/night was thought of and executed perfectly. The food was incredible and the staff was more than professional. All the details and decorations were set up by Kara and the team the night before (we had our rehearsal dinner here as well) so I got a chance to see things ahead of time and this really reduced my anxiety and allowed me to enjoy the time getting ready with my bridesmaids. On our wedding day, I knew Kara had everything taken care of and that it would all be perfect. Would not hesitate to book another event here again!Stone Ridge Golf Club's reply:

She was always responding to my questions in a timely manner and on the day of when there were things that didn't go as planned, she had a back up plan for everything and anything. Hollie Sent on 10/17/2017Stone Ridge was the most perfect venue, every little detail. Kara , the coordinator, was a game changer. Weddings can seem so overwhelming, and I was the most calm bride because of her. She took care of everything. We have two children and she even made sure they were where they needed to be and brought little plates of dinner to our table for them. She decorated the hall with our décor better than I even imagined it to look. Family and friends are still raving about how truly spectacular the night was. If we needed anything, she was on top of it making sure it happened. And of course, her team was all to thank for everything. Amazing food, bar service, set up, clean up, etc. At the end of the night you grab your gifts and tomorrow everything is packed up and ready to go home.
Seamless transitions from our wedding to reception. The weather was beautiful, the room to get ready in was so perfect, the distance to hotel was so convenient.
I would encourage anyone to get married here, it will be one of the best decisions for your wedding you could make.Stone Ridge Golf Club's reply:

Tyler Sent on 07/20/2015Kara is the best person to have at the helm for your wedding. She was involved in nearly every decision that we made. She gave us insight into nearly every vendor that we looked into and was the largest influence in selecting the other vendors that we did (each and every one of which was absolutely fantastic). We emailed Kara frequently in the year and a half leading up to the wedding and she always responded promptly and helpfully. When we would stress about something Kara would simply lay out her plan and her contingencies and reassure us that she had everything well in hand. When selecting a venue nearly every one that we visited was outdoor ceremony, indoor reception and I asked them all what their plan was for bad weather, Kara was the ONLY one that had a plan - that was one of the reasons we chose her, she was also the ONLY one who made it clear that she wanted to work with us to make this the perfect day and that she would do anything within her power to do things the way we wanted them done - this was the biggest reason we chose her and stone ridge. The rehearsal went incredibly smoothly with Kara helping to make sure that everyone knew exactly what their responsibilities were. Then disaster struck, it rained on our wedding day! Kara quickly and efficiently moved everything inside and made sure that everyone involved knew exactly what they needed to do. The wedding was beautiful, in large part due to Kara's attention to detail and amazing plans and her ability to adapt on the fly. Her staff was friendly and helpful throughout everything. Even though the wedding, pictures and reception were all in the same room (because of the rain) Kara and her staff masterfully funneled our guests to the appropriate locations at the appropriate times. Erin Sent on 10/03/2010When we first signed with Stoneridge we had some issues but they got a new event planner and she is wonderful! Tara was so easy to work with. We went in a few days before the wedding and set up our lanterns from the ceiling. Down fall there now they offer to hang those up. We went in the day before the wedding to see the set up and make sure everything was like we wanted. We also rented our own linens from somewhere else because we were not informed (due to signing with a different planner and the new one never informed us) they now offered linens. Which is okay because we wanted brown chair covers and tiffany blue table covers and they did not offeres those but now they do. A little upsetting but glad we could provide a different option for them. Food was AMAZING!!!! Everything ran smoothly.
