Hired StillNation for my surprise engagement and couldn't be happier with the experience leading up to the day, the day itself, and the end result. It ended up raining on the planned day, but they were willing to endure the rain and shoot anyway. I didn't feel like we were being rushed despite everyone getting soaked, and they were incredibly accommodating about the whole thing. After we were done shooting in the rain, they found a nearby indoor venue and offered to take more photos in a spot where we could be dry. They gave us ideas on how to pose, where to stand, how to act, everything. Photos arrived ahead of schedule and surpassed expectations. They look amazing and they even provided multiple edits of the each photo so we could choose our favorites. I can't tell you a single thing they could have done better from beginning to end, and I'm very appreciative of their services. -

Alex and Angela did a wonderful job capturing our wedding day! They came highly recommended and exceeded our expectations. They were very easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding, and on top of everything the day of. They were very receptive to our ideas but also provided great professional direction to give us the best possible results. On top of that, they seem to be able to be in 10 places at once and captured so many great shots of all our guests, special candid moments, every detail of the decor...we were really able to relive the whole day by going through our album.

We used StillNation photography for our wedding in San Francisco on 8/31/2021. I can't put into words how happy I am that we chose Alex and Angela. They are professional, fun and very knowledgeable. My ceremony was in San Francisco city hall, and they knew all the beautiful spots. The reception was at a catering hall and they captured every fun and spontaneous moment. They made EVERYONE feel comfortable and confident. The photos turned out amazing. They look they they are out of vogue! They captured so much emotion in every shot. Thank you guys so much! The memories of our special day will feel fresh and new always because of you. -

Phenomenal Photographers!!
Phenomenal is the perfect way to describe Alex & Angela.
Working with these two was the most easy and fun time. They were extremely personable, had an amazing sense of humor and the absolute best creativity when it came to capturing photos. We were lucky enough to have them shoot our wedding day and the outcome was truly UNREAL.
Honestly, I cannot stop looking at the photo album everyday. It's impossible to select just a few favorites because thousands of photos turned out impeccable!
A few things to add, they were on top of everything. They were always responsive whenever we emailed or texted and always made sure we felt comfortable with our ideas prior to and during our wedding.
I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to have magical memories translated into photos.

We couldn't have made a better choice to pick StillNation as our wedding ceremony photographer. Alex and Angela just had amazing service. Hands down.
We were lucky to find StillNation photography as we didn't spend too much time looking for wedding photographers. But as soon as my wife, who is a designer herself saw StillNation's work, we immediately decided to choose them. From the beginning to the end, Angela provided so much help for us regarding to how SF city hall wedding works, what photo styles we like, and even what's good for bridal bouquets! Alex, our photographer on the wedding day, is an absolute professional in shooting in the city hall. He knew we were only shooting for 1 hour, so he was very efficient; he wanted to help us get as much good photos as possible. Therefor He didn't waste any time taking photos, even when we were waiting for our city hall ceremony. He also knew the city hall wedding ceremony flow inside out, and that helps us to have more time to take photos. He was also a light magician and led us around to some of the best photo spots at the time. Most importantly, he guided us and we really had a good time during the entire photoshoot. He truly captured those important moments in our life.
After the photos come out, I wouldn't be more pleased. StillNation provided us more than 1 sets of edits which I am extremely thankful. I wouldn't be more grateful to have them as our photographer because the pictures just look amazing. We absolute love them!
I highly recommend Alex, Angela, and StillNation for your wedding photographer. I am sure you will not regret the choice to let them capture the most important moments of your life!!! :) -

StillNation has been photographing my group of friends for family photos to big events. I was so thrilled I could work with them for my wedding. They were super easy to work with and a lot of fun! They were so considerate to our needs and what was happening around them and the photos turned out better than I could have expected. Would always recommend them. -

We had an amazing experience working with StillNation for our wedding. They came recommended by a friend, and did not disappoint. Reasonable rates, flexible schedule, and superb communication from the very first call. Most importantly - breathtakingly beautiful and unique photos. Alex guided us through the entire process from the moment we met him in City Hall. Final results and overall professionalism aside, we are very grateful to him for alleviating so much of the day's stress by showing us exactly what to do and where to go. Alex and his assistant felt like part of the family by the end of the night, we truly couldn't be happier. Thank you again! -

Wedding Photography
Alex and Angela did our engagement/wedding photos, and they did a phenomenal job! My husband and I love all of the pictures they took, and it was difficult picking the ones we wanted to frame because they were all soooo good! They are very professional and easy to work with. They make you feel comfortable and bring out the most candid shots. Another important thing is that Angela was very responsive, and answered all our questions almost immediately. Having Alex and Angela do our wedding photography was the best decision we made! -

Simply Perfection!
Alex and Angela are simply the best! Our friends had used them for their big day and after looking at their photos… I was sold, I knew before even reaching out that I wanted StillNation for our special day. I emailed them and within an hour we were in contact. Angela was very easy to communicate with, she was always very responsive and answered all my questions quickly…(as a bride I asked a lot of question).
The day of the wedding Alex and Angela where the definition of professionals, they were on time, and got to work. I think the day of our wedding there was some obstacles as far as the weather is concerned, but looking at the photos one would never know. They have great skills and so much knowledge of photography. Alex guided us the whole day in order to get the best light, giving us directions, he was patient, but most importantly we felt like he was our friend and not a vendor paid to do a job. He was so supportive even reminding me to breathe and just have fun!
About a month later we received our photos, and I can honestly say they turned out great, we couldn’t be happier, they are simply beautiful. I put together a beautiful photo album and gave them out to members of our family; they are all over the moon with how beautiful our photos are. If you are in the market for a wedding photographer (or a photographer for any occasion), I highly recommend Alex and Angela for their talent, reliability, and personality!!

Linda Sent on 03/20/2018Alex and Angela are truly just stellar. We were fortunate enough to find them six month before our wedding. After numerous, frustrating meetings with wedding photographers who had a stale, cheesy, antiquated approach on documenting the big day (think tacky, overdone slow-mo, fuzzy cloud-framed shots, and other typical wedding photo elements we're all tired of seeing), Alex photography work online, we were blown away. We are so lucky that he was available for our date on such notice and willing to work with us!
Here's what I can tell you about our experience with him: he was upbeat, enthusiastic, and totally professional. The guy brought great energy to the day, getting all the footage he needed, while doing his work seamlessly. He arrived on time, never made us feel rushed, and coordinated with our videographers so that each could do their thing without interfering with the other. Alex was great at making us feel comfortable, instead of stiff and uber-aware of the camera. They not only put a ton of effort into capturing the footage during that day itself, but put just as much into the post-production work--and it shows!
If you're on the cusp and trying to decide whether to go with Stillnation, BOOK IT! They are fairly still affordable! You will get the best value for your money. TRUST ME. (I already have a couple of friends who plan to do the same.) His work has a totally fresh, artistic, cinematic style that you won't find anywhere else for that price point. They captured unique moments, angles, and details that made us see our own wedding from a new perspective! We've already gotten tons of enthusiastic reactions ranging from "It looks like a magazine cover!" to "That's the best wedding photography I've seen."
If I had to sum it up, I would say that his work has a lot of HEART--you can tell he is passionate about what he does--which is perfect when it comes to capturing your most precious memories. Look at the pictures and you'll see! -
