Great Experience Beginning to End!

We were referred to Joelle/STF by the wedding event space owner; STF was the caterer for her wedding. We found Joelle to be easy to work with, responsive, flexible and accommodating to menu changes--with a positive attitude. Joelle understood the details of the food and tableware we were looking for and arranged for all of this. She was a one stop shop: tableware rentals, food, bar service--this made planning much easier. Lastly, and most important--the day of service and food was excellent! The cocktail hour menu was great and the guest commented on how tasty everything was. The biggest hit, and I would highly recommend was the braised short rib paired with asiago mashed potatoes--out of this world! We served family styled and Joelle was up for that detail as well--it was very fun to pass the bowls and platters at each table and not wait in line for food :) I would highly recommend Joelle and the staff at STF!!

Amazing Food and Service!! The guests loved the meal and drinks!!

I just have to say WOW!!! The food was phenomenal for our holiday wedding! Multiple guests came up to us and said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Everyone was talking about how amazing the bartender was as well! We are so so happy we decided to go with STF! They made our day really special! Everyone left happy and so did we! Highly recommend, you wont regret it!

Delicious food, friendly staff, totally perfect!

STF catered my backyard wedding in McMinnville. I can't recommend STF highly enough. Joelle, Eleni, and all their staff were so kind and friendly to work with. And the food was absolutely incredible! Our guests raved about how delicious everything was, and many people went back for seconds. We had many vegetarian guests, so it was important to us to have a good veggie option for dinner. Joelle and Eleni worked with us to create a menu perfect for our celebration. I still dream about the spanakopita arancini and mashed potatoes!

Phenomenal service

STF Catering is without a doubt one of the best vendors to work with and would 1000% recommend them to anyone needing catering for any event. They were attentive, creative, and very open to listening to our ideas and running with them. Not to mention, on the day of our event, we had no worries about how our guests would be served. They were so sweet, made sure we had enough food to eat, and even had little surprises for us! If I ever have the need for a catering company, you better believe that I will be contacting STF Catering immediately. You will not regret working with them!

Perfect Caterers!

STF helped with making my wedding day stress free! They were easy to work with, very responsive, and professional. I had several dietary restrictions and they were able to make amazing meals around it. I could eat freely and not be worried about being sick. Everyone at the reception raved about how good the meal was. The service was wonderful and the food was better than most restaurants. I highly recommend them!

Excellent experience during our last minute intimate wedding

In under a month's time, we planned and successfully executed a magical outdoor wedding experience at our home, during Covid. Because of the pandemic, the fact that some family was traveling here, and also that I was pregnant- safety and conscious actions were very important.
So fortunate that STF was available to cater our wedding with just a few weeks notice! Communication with Joelle all through the process was on point and smooth; really put my mind at ease.
Day of- they breezed in, set up in our kitchen (bringing all necessary equipment, aside from dishes and linens that we rented), and they were like ninjas! A well oiled machine, their team. Very professional service throughout, anticipated needs and food was brought out in a smooth procession. We decided to do a plated dinner, which included appetizers. Everybody loved it! The flavors were a uniquely tasty mix, and very well prepared.
I cannot say enough good things about Joelle, Eleni and Bekah. By the end of the night, the kitchen was spotless, all rented dishes were rinsed and ready for pick up.

Lovely food and people!

They were an absolute delight to work with! I would recommend them to anyone. Everyone was raving about the food after our wedding. I was an out of town bride and they made everything so easy for me and accommodated me. I can't say enough good things about them.

Looking for a caterer? No need to look elsewhere

Choosing a caterer for your wedding can be overwhelming. All the different options, scheduling tastings, planning the menu, it can quickly seem too much. This is why it’s important to find a caterer who you can count on, one who cares about your day and works to bring your vision to light. I was lucky enough to find that with Joelle and Eleni of Savor the Flavor. They made the planning and the event fun and memorable. If you’re looking for food to make your mouth water (highly recommend the bacon jam) and a team who works with you and delivers exceptional and professional service then hire this vendor.

Excellent experience!

My wife and I are so happy we used STF. From the tasting to the wedding, we only have positive things to say. STF worked with us through a menu change, a guest list change, and were fantastic in helping the day go smoothly. The food was delicious-- we loved it, our guests loved it. I still think about those asiago mashed potatoes. Joelle and Eleni were warm, kind, and wonderful to work with.

Using STF Catering is one of the best decisions I made

I can’t rave enough about how amazing STF is! Not only did they go out of there way to make sure they helped capture the look and feel I wanted, but the food was by far the most amazing food!! Everyone (and I mean everyone) is still raving to this day about how amazing our food was. I am in the wedding industry and my advice is... if you’re trying to find a catering company in the Nashville area With amazing food and who truly Cares about all the details you found them!

Shut The Front door! They were awesome!

We had our wedding reception catered. We were very pleased with the food and the service provided by STF. I highly reccomend this company. They packed plates for me and my husband to take home since we were too busy to eat at our reception. Very considerate. :)

STF did a fantastic job in organizing my daughter's wedding. Joelle was with my daughter (Katie) every step of the way to make sure everything went without a hitch. Her professional team could not have been any better with their preparation as well as their kindness to our guests. At my job, we use STF for many of our catering needs, so it was a no-brainer to use them for Katie's very special day! By the way, the food is tremendous and prepared to perfection. You will not go wrong with this wonderful catering company.

STF is outstanding! The entire team was so helpful and customer oriented! The chef's food was A+!
She did a fantastic job! Many guest have emailed, texted and call to ask who prepared the food it was absolutely fantastic! Everyone was super impressed and loved your food. We planned the wedding in under 6 months, and both of us have opposite schedules so tasting catering companies wasn't an option for us. STF were the most responsive to emails, and most flexible with what we wanted, so we picked them, blindly hoping this would work in our favor and holy hot damn did we luck out! They rolled with every possible punch and the food was incredible. I wish I needed more events catered to them, because I would happily use them for any event anytime. Thanks guys!

We used STF for our caterer, they were all that and so much more. They did a great job accommodating my moms allergy to black pepper, which they made seem easy but, black pepper is in everything!! Anyways, they really made our day stress free and special!

We booked STF for catering, bartenders, and a day-of coordinator, and we couldn't be happier! They made us delicious Southern food, even making up a new corn recipe my husband requested. We went out a couple months ago for a tasting, and the chefs and the event planner were all so nice and so friendly (Chef Joelle even showed up for a walk-through at the venue before our wedding so she knew exactly what we wanted and what was going on). We worked with two event planners, one for the booking process, and she was very nice and very responsive to all of my emails and questions. The other planner we worked with for our day-of coordination, and she was amazing! She was very thorough and organized listened to everything I wanted, but was able to take the lead in some decisions that I needed some more guidance on. Our decorations were very DIY, and she set everything up at the venue while I was getting my hair and makeup done, and the best part was that she texted me pictures to make sure I liked everything (this was also super helpful to ease my wedding day anxiety!). Booking Samantha as the day-of coordinator was 100% the best money spent my whole wedding! You definitely won't go wrong using STF.

STF was great to work with. Their prices were reasonable, menus and flavors were exceptional and we really enjoyed having our wedding coordinator, Emily, with STF as it streamlined one of the most important aspects of the night (the food!). I would highly recommend them for your event.

I am fortunate enough to have eaten the food prepared by STF many times and so I couldn’t imagine anyone else catering my wedding. From the start, they did an amazing job. They made picking the menu fun (and delicious). They provided everything and knew all the questions to ask, that I wouldn’t have thought of. Best of all, day of they did a great job and the food was everything we hoped for. I got so many compliments that it was way better than typical wedding food. ;) Probably because these ladies make it look great and taste even better. I’d highly recommend them if you are looking for a personal touch and want something outside the standard wedding fare.

We used STF to cater our wedding. 10/10 would wedding again just to have the food again!

Food was AMAZING! Service was OUTSTANDING! This is a one stop shop for all of your catering needs. The team was very professional and easy to work with. We got so many compliments about the food from our wedding guests. STF took care of everything! The process started with a proposal of several menu options. Once you refine what you want, STF invites you to their commercial kitchen for a tasting of your menu. OMG - so good!! At the tasting, you finalize your menu and discuss any final details. Then, sit back and relax, knowing that your event is in the best hands possible!

Okay, where to even start with these amazing vendors/human beings...We could not have asked for more amazing caterers if we even dreamt of it! Seriously, they can do anything and bring any request to life and make it absolutely delicious. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was impeccable. I can't say enough about STF and am so thankful we chose them! (PS: we even ate the leftovers for days on our honeymoon haha, it was THAT good y'all.)

Savor the Flavor was AMAZING! Joelle and Eleni are an absolute pleasure to work with (meaning I wanted them to come out on the dancefloor and partake in the wedding fun!) They went above and beyond to ensure that the food was PERFECT for our wedding. People to this day still talk about how good everything was! (Especially the Mac and Cheese).

The tasting was very fun as well. My parents and husband attended the tasting, and we had a blast getting to know these ladies, and just chatting. If you are looking for amazing food, and even better people, Savor the Flavor is 100% the way to go! :)

Savor the Flavor catering provided a wonderful dining experience for our daughter’s wedding reception. Joelle and Eleni were so amazing to work with – they understood exactly what we wanted. They are very knowledgeable in their craft. The food was incredibly delicious and displayed beautifully. Many of our guests were very complimentary of the food and of Joelle and her staff. This experience surpassed our expectations. We would highly recommend Savor the Flavor to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience for any special occasion.

As the father of the bride, I can only say that Eleni and Joelle and their entire staff at Savor The Flavor Catering are SENSATIONAL!! Not only are Joelle and Eleni absolutely delightful to work with, but these ladies CAN COOK! We started working with them in March for a September wedding and from our initial contact through the big day and beyond they were not only extraordinarily professional, but their enthusiasm and genuine happiness for the bride and groom was truly touching. As for the reception itself: it only gets better from here. After a month of no rain, we had (of course) a rainy day and they had to prepare food outside under a tent in lousy conditions, but wait, it gets better: a major piece of (rental) equipment malfunctioned threatening to ruin the whole occasion. We don't know how they did it, but they pulled off a feat nothing short of culinary wizardry using every skill, improvisation, and flexibility imaginable and came forth with a flawless presentation (for 150, no less) that friends and guests are still talking about months later! They did all this with unflappable professionalism and good cheer, to boot. As caterers, business women, and very, very fine people Eleni and Joelle absolutely walk on water as far as I'm concerned. Do not hesitate to engage these wonderful folks for any catering needs you might have.

Savor the Flavor is who you need to call for your wedding's catering.

Joelle and her team catered both my rehearsal dinner and my wedding this past November, and words can't say enough how grateful I was to have them. The food was exquisite (heard from many of my guests and I enjoyed it after the wedding), and their attitudes were very positive, fun, and easy to work with--which is much-needed when you are an anxious bride! The presentation of the food and drinks was beautifully and professionally moved in, set up, and moved out of our venue. I trusted them completely to take care of our church and the property, and they did just that.

Also, my husband and brother-in-law have to eat gluten free. Joelle and STF understand completely what that involves as well as cross contamination. We did not have to worry about a thing.

The contract process before the wedding was very clear, upfront, and customizable. We were never pressured for additions or told "no, this cannot be done." For the amazing quality and service that you receive, I feel that STF is very well-priced compared to other caterers who do not include all that they offer.

Joelle and her amazing team at STF exceeded our expectations in every way! Absolute professionalism and yet just as personable. Joelle made the contract process clear and precise. They worked with us making any adjustments necessary until we were completely satisfied. STF relieved us of any stress over food and service because they took care of every single detail and made it look easy! The service at our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception were flawless! Eleni and Joelle were fantastic from the very first tasting. My husband is a chef, and as such had very specific requirements for the food. They more than surpassed our expectations and did a wonderful job! The food was absolutely delicious, we have received so many compliments from people about how good it was! Their staff was courteous and efficient and super sweet, and they made sure we got to eat at our own reception--amazing in itself! To top it off, they had been to Aruba before and gave us lots of great pointers for our honeymoon! Fabulous people, delicious food, and beautiful presentation--what more can you ask for?? Joelle and Eleni were spectacular throughout the entire wedding process! They were such pleasant people to be around, their professionalism was out of this world, the food was amazing, and the service was beyond our expectations. Savor the Flavor did an excellent job with our wedding!! They actually took time to listen to what we wanted and prepared it to our specifications. They were quick to respond to any questions and explained everything clearly. We had to move our wedding date and they were so flexible in accommodating everything with a shorter time frame. The food was amazing! Everything tasted great and we got many comments from guests about how good the food was. Their staff was professional and honest. Savor the Flavor catering was absolutely flawless from beginning to end. We requested an all-vegetarian menu with variety of tasty foods from all over the world and they went above and beyond our expectations. This was our first time hiring caterers for an event and Joelle and Eleni were both great at guiding us through the planning process. My wife and I had a hard time deciding which foods from our tasting to have at the event; everything we tried was complex, flavorful, and unique.

From the tasting to the event day itself, Joelle and Eleni were in frequent contact and very professional. Our guests were not all vegetarian but even the most carnivorous among them were impressed by the variety and flavor. Our reception was over a year ago, but my wife and I still receive comments on how great the food was at our party. We would both highly recommend Savor the Flavor for any and all special events!

I cannot say enough about Savor The Flavor (STF) catering. Impeccable customer service, out of this world flavor combinations and a creative approach to my unique Nashville wedding reception is what I experienced hiring chefs Joelle and Eleni at STF. Our STF food tasting was my husband's absolute favorite part of the wedding planning process. The chefs invited us to their private kitchen and served us like royalty all while making sure we loved every aspect of each dish. During the planning process I had a plethora of questions, and Chef Joelle always responded to my emails super fast. They worked directly with my rental company to ensure we had appropriate quantities of plates/glasses/utensils, etc, which took a lot of stress away from me! Most importantly, STF blew my guests away at our wedding. Three weeks later, I'm still receiving calls/texts to the tune of "OMG that food was so good!"

Chef Eleni and Joelle from Savor the Flavor were, quite simply, amazing for our wedding! They worked with us on the menu, listened to all of our likes and dislikes and created a menu that would fit for the season and our friends and family. They stayed in constant contact throughout the year leading up to the event whenever we had questions and even was able to work with us on creating a signature cocktail to serve as well. On the day of our wedding, their entire crew was on point and we were never left wanting for anything. Our guests (as well as myself and my wife) were always being asked if we needed anything food or drink related and if we did they brought us whatever we needed immediately. Even though we'd set up a buffet, the servers were thoughtful enough to ask if we needed a plate of food when we had a break and brought us a little of everything without us having to risk getting anything on our dresses. And when it was all said and done, they had boxed up three big plates of all the food for both of us to take with us and eat later on as well! I cannot recommend them enough, their prices are reasonable, the food is AMAZING, and the service is 5-star! If you go with them then these ladies will take care of you like family!

Joelle and Eleni are great. When we began searching for caterers, I emailed 3 or 4 and asked for availability, quotes, and sample menus. Joelle was the only one that responded with a personal email asking questions about our favorite foods and flavors, and what we envisioned on our wedding day. Within a few days we had a sample menu and a reasonable quote. We had initially planned to schedule tastings with at least two caterers, but after we sat down and sampled the menu that Joelle and Eleni had prepared specifically for Matt and I, we knew that they would be catering our reception. They were really flexible with a few rounds of changes we requested as we refined our menu leading up to the big day. We ended up with an "International Tapas" theme with food stations around our reception venue. There was a macaroni and cheese bar, flatbread pizzas, chicken parm sandwiches, sliders, tacos, szechuan noodles, and a build your own mexi-bowl station with the most delicious pork you have ever tasted. Joelle and Eleni will cater your event with outstanding professionalism, flexibility, and most importantly, delicious food!

We had STF cater our reception and they were FANTASTIC! We are a couple who enjoys tasty food and STF lived up to our expectations and more! Everyone kept telling us all night how impressed they were with the food and many ppl went back for seconds. They were very patient with us as we kept going back and changing and tweaking the menu. They worked with every request we had and made sure to include our favorite foods. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and hope to use them again!

We used STF for our small (16 person) outdoor wedding an hour outside of Nashville in September 2014. We live out of state, but coordinating with Joelle via email on the front end was a breeze. She went through a couple of menu options/revisions with us and worked to develop the best meal for our reception. The day of the wedding she was on time prepping and despite the fact that our photographs took longer than we expected and we had to push dinner back, she still served the food fresh and warm. She was very attentive to serving our party both food and beverages and was very personable. Joelle also helped us cut and serve the wedding cake. She even served my less mobile grandparents at their table, getting them ice cream and cake. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would recommend STF to anyone!

Savor the Flavor did a wonderful job of adding class and elegance to our wedding. Their price was reasonable for the amount of service provided in addition to all of the help they were throughout the wedding planning process. Not only were they able to change the menu when I requested it, they were also able to help assemble linens when I discovered that we needed someone to do that.

As an out-of-town bride, it was especially tough to plan with vendors from five hours away. It does take a few personal meetings to confirm everything with STF, but they are flexible and were glad to work with my schedule and family as necessary. Regardless of time of day or day of the week, STF stayed in communication with us throughout planning.

Immediately after my first phone consulation with Joelle, I knew Savor the Flavor would cater my wedding - and I hadn't even tasted a bite of food at that point! I'm so glad I followed my instincts (and tastebuds) - STF was the perfect choice.

Not only was the food amazing, but the service was top-notch, from the tasting to the big day - Joelle and Eleni thought of every detail to offer delicious food that was beautifully presented but also affordable. I keep trying to think of another excuse to use their services, but will happily recommend STF to future Nashville-area brides!!

STF Catering did a wonderful job creating the perfect menu for my daughters wedding on June 29th, 2013. I am still getting rave reviews from my family on how excellent the food was!! What I love about Joelle is she provides extra special touches that no other catering company provides. We still have one more daughter living at home and she has already told me she wants them to cater her wedding!! They by far take the extra mile to provide you with superior quality food and service. Savor the Flavor's cuisine was exquisite and perfect for our wedding. They took interest in the types of foods we like through interviewing all of us. During our tasting they took notes and tweaked the recipes to our taste. Savor the Flavor worked so well with our coordinators and florists to make the presentation picturesque. Our highest priority was that our guests ate well and enjoyed the cuisine. Throughout the reception we kept hearing over and over how wonderful the food was and how elegantly it was displayed. We continue to receive calls from guests sharing how impressed they were with all the touches, like the coffee and smore bar! The staff was polite, helpful and had one continuous smile. We will use Savor the Flavor again and highly recommend them for any event!

We had SUCH a wonderful experience with STF. Friendly people, excellent food, and beautiful presentation! What more could you ask for? Joelle and Eleni were great to work with throughout the planning process. They were very open to our ideas and feedback, patient in the decision-making process and easy going throughout. Joelle was great. I am glad that they whee able to work with us on short notice and still keep it at a resonable price. I willl use them for any event that require catering. Some of the things that put them offer the top is they worked with us on short notice after our first cater was unresponsive. They also offer bartender service, they cleared the tables and even gave us a basket with things for our wedding night. At the end of the wedding they made us a plate to go being how we were moving around alot. i would suggest using them. they are affordable with 5 star service.

This caterer was very good. Joelle and her partner Eleni met with my husband and I months before the wedding. They are very creative and helped us come up with a brunch reception menu that was both elegant and southern. We even had an omelet barour guests chose the ingredients, and Eleni made omelets on the spot! Our guests loved it. Joelle also met with us a couple days before the wedding to review the layout and make minor adjustments to the schedule. Overall the food was yummy, presented well, and the staff were courteous and professionalnot just a bunch of teenagers! I would definitely recommend them.

STF Catering have been the most friendly people we have ever worked with! Emily at STF was very accommodating, friendly, and communicative. STF responded greatly after we had a few last minute venue changes. The staff at the event were amazing, and, on top of all of this, dinner was absolutely delicious. The cheese display was such a hit, and our guests were very happy with everything. We loved our take home boxes and bride and groom care package. Don't hesitate to let STF cater your event or wedding.

We worked with STF to cater our wedding of around 200-225 guests. They were such a pleasure to work with from start to finish! Each member of the team is more than happy to answer questions, adjust items, and work with us on making the event just what we dreamed it would be. So glad I chose savor the flavor as our wedding caterer. Eleni and Joelle were so awesome to work with from the very beginning! They worked to individualize the experience for us and really listened to what we wanted and what we liked. They were even flexible with the menu when my husband wanted ritz crackers on the macaroni and cheese instead of panko! We had a buffet style dinner with herb chicken, pot roast, macaroni and cheese, green beans, salad and bread. All of the food was phenomenal and my guests were so complimentary on the taste and quality. All of the food for the approx. 125 guests tasted just as it had when we did our tasting for 4 people. The price per person was very reasonable and STF was very flexible when it came to rental items and ways to fit with in your budget. During the event, all of the staff were so friendly and attentive. They were circling the entire time checking on me and my husband as well as all of the guests. The provided professional bartenders for the event and Joelle was able to cut our wedding cake and did a fantastic job. Everyone we encountered from Savor the Flavor were so pleasant and professional and I would highly recommend them as your wedding/any event caterer!

I tasted a sample of Savor the Flavor (STF) at the Murfreesboro Pink Bridal Show in September, 2011, the same month of my engagement. I had no idea what I was looking for or even my budget but I knew when I met Joelle and tasted their signature chicken corn cakes that they would be at the top on my list for catering. I had an "average wedding budget" and chose to invest in food, photography and our families.

STF was absolutely wonderful to work with. I was moving out of state 1 month before the wedding, making a career transition and planning our wedding all at the same time! The STF team was attentive to helping me plan a great menu, allowing me to make modifications along the way. They went above and beyond to plan a holiday tasting to accommodate my parents and fiancé's travel schedule. Their prices are a good value, the quality of food is outstanding, and their personalized service left our guests talking about the reception for weeks. My only issue, is that our guests enjoyed their signature chicken corn cakes so much, that my husband and I didn't have a chance to enjoy them; they were THAT GOOD!!!

My advice for future brides: There are many well known catering options for Nashville area weddings. Book Savor the Flavor and literally savor the flavor of their quality fresh foods. Their personalized menu, service and attention to detail is superb. Best Wishes,

I contracted with Savor the Flavor for my wedding after cancelling with another caterer. The experience with the first left me feeling pretty crappy and nervous about the whole thing, but that went away after one phone call with Joelle (at 9 p.m. on a Friday the same day of my first call), who assured me they could throw down good Southern food, help with turning over our ceremony room into a reception room, handle the bar, and do it all at about the same price we'd already budgeted for the cancelled contract.

All of this turned out just as we hoped. Delicious apps (shrimp and grit cakes were a hit), buffet style panko chicken and pork loin, amazing mac and cheese and sweet potatoes, etc. Several people told us it was the best food they'd had at a wedding (especially the Northern Yankees ;), and the servers working the bar even used our karaoke wedding theme to label our signature sweet tea drink the "Sweet Caroline," a touch I hadn't thought of. Bottom line, we enjoyed the night and didn't have to worry about a thing. I struggle to provide some kind of a negative, as I tend to be distrustful myself of overly stellar reviews when I was hunting for someone. But I'm not going to make something up. Just trust me. They're awesome people, their food is awesome, and I'd recommend them in good conscience to anyone.

As Mother of the Groom, I would highly recommend Joelle and Eleni of Savor the Flavor for catering of any event you have. They catered our Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding this weekend and the food was absolutely delicious. Especially the strawberry shortcake :) They were very professional and friendly and their food presentation was awesome.To be able to just walk in and have everything done for you gave us the time to just relax and celebrate our son's and now daughter in law's big day.
