We were lucky enough to get Steven Vance himself as the violinist at our wedding. Guests and vendors came up to us all night raving about him. He played beautifully and knew exactly what songs to play as he read the room. During planning, he offered suggestions and amplified our ideas, which made the process so comfortable. He is such a professional. He even waited until I was around to play my favorite songs, sharing a knowing smile with me as he did. It meant so much to me, and it is something I will remember for the rest of my life as I think back on our wedding day.
We also hired a DJ through Steven Vance Entertainment, and we were matched with Joe Molinaro. Joe was awesome! He was so helpful during planning, and kept the party going all night. He even had guests out on the dance floor so early that we had to kick them out to do our father/daughter dance!
In conclusion, you will not regret your decision to hire Steven Vance Entertainment, as I'm sure all of their musicians/DJs are as professional and talented as Steven and Joe.

Perfect for my ceremony
We heard Steve at Bella Terra and was impressed. When we went with him anyway and booked with Joyce who was an electric violinist. As soon as I heard her set up and began to practice for the ceremony, myself and most of my bridesmaids began to weep. It was absolutely beautiful. She literally did not make one single mistake, it was loud in the perfect way and resonated thought the whole ceremony hall. I’d have Joyce 100x over if I had to choose again. So thankful for her for making my day so special. Absolute perfection!!

Working with Steven Vance Entertainment was seamless from start to finish. Both our DJ and violinist were professional and talented. A special shoutout to our DJ, Mike Russell — he did an amazing job balancing music and conversation. Even my 92-year-old grandmother mentioned how much she loved that she could still chat with guests while enjoying the background music during dinner. Excellent experience all around!

The best DJ and Violinist
Steven Vance played the electric violin during our ceremony and cocktail hour. He was absolutely incredible and we had so many compliments about his music. We had DJ Matt Nichols for our reception and he was fantastic as well. His song selection was perfect without us having given him a list and he had people on the dance floor all night. We had phone calls with both Steven and Matt the week before the wedding to go over timelines and final details. I would highly recommend Steven Vance entertainment!

We couldn’t have asked for a better entertainment company for our wedding! From start to finish, the team was professional, friendly, and incredibly talented. The music created such an amazing atmosphere. Our guests are still raving about how fantastic the music was! They truly understood our vibe and made the day feel so special. Wonderful DJ and violinist.

Beautiful live music
A live violin & piano duet from Steven Vance Entertainment totally elevated my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour! We had Jane on the violin and Mark on the keyboard. They were friendly, very easy to work with before the big day, and the music was simply beautiful. I had specific requests for the ceremony, but other than that they played a combination of pop and older tunes. I could have listened to them play all day! I highly recommend hiring them for your event.

Great vibes thanks to Joey!
Joey from Steve Vance entertainment was the DJ for our wedding. He really understood the vibe we wanted based on our list of songs to try playing and our do not play list. He played violin pre and during the ceremony and cocktail hour and guests commented how much they enjoyed it and how great he was. My wedding was small by most standards but he did a good job keeping people on the dance floor all night. Joey and Susan from the Steve Vance team were both responsive and jumped on the phone whenever we had questions and were kind and professional in their communications. If I needed a DJ for an event again I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Joey. Thanks again for doing such a wonderful job!

We had the most amazing ceremony.
Joyce Wohlgemuth was an absolutely beautiful violinist, she made our ceremony so special and so memorable. The way she plays , she plays with so much feeling. It was definitely a highlight of my wedding. If you are thinking of adding a violinist to your ceremony, do it, you will not be disappointed and neither will your guests!💕
Our DJ, Dean Chiaramonte, kept the evening on schedule and running smoothly. Whether it was announcing the bridal party or making sure each table was called to head to the buffet, Dean was on top of it. Our guest enjoyed dancing the night away from either songs they requested or songs that Dean just knew they would love and would get them up off their butts and on the dance floor. We had a terrific time with Dean.

Steven Vance entertainment made everything about our wedding perfect. Steven played violin for our ceremony and advised us on things we never even thought of such as microphones and backing tracks. He also took the time to learn a new piece for our recessional. He was punctual, courteous and very professional. Our DJ was also booked through them. We had DJ Anthony Molinaro for our reception and he did an amazing job. He worked with us to develop the perfect flow for the reception. My husband and I chose the DJ with live violinist and both were amazing. The violinist was perfect during dinner and captivated everyone there. The rest of the reception was filled with fun and dancing from the DJ. He was a fantastic MC, humorous, and kept the party going. We had a money dance, shoe game, anniversary dance, and last dance. Beautiful Ceremony Music!
We chose Steve Vance to play the violin during our wedding Mass and he did a great job. He played with our organist, flautist and choir. He practiced with them a few days beforehand and offered to play prelude music 30 minutes before the Mass started.

Great deal for a great set of services
Steve was great to communicate with -- we made several changes to our contract after initially signing and he was always very quick to help us update it. He played acoustic violin for our ceremony and it was beautiful. Our DJ, Matt, did a great job getting everyone on the dance floor and making the reception and cocktail hour run smoothly. He accommodated our request for a Hora and did a great job with it. The photobooth was also a lot of fun and we love our take-home book!

We have gone to weddings where someone from Steve Vance Electric Violins was there and knew once we got engaged we wanted to use them as a vendor! This was our first vendor we booked after getting our venue. Joyce performed on the electric violin for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Everyone thought it was so cool and a unique touch! She did such a good job. I wanted to have “what dreams are made of” as the song I walked out to during the ceremony and even though she has never done that song, she learned it and killed it. DJ/Violinist: Steven Vance Entertainment
We are very lucky because I wanted a violinist for our ceremony followed by a DJ for cocktail hour/reception. Steven Vance was able to accommodate both!
Starting with our violinist, she had an encyclopedia of popular songs for our choosing. She reached out to us 2 weeks before the wedding confirming our song choices to make sure everything went according to our plan. The violin absolutely enhanced the ceremony to another level.
Our DJ was also very accommodating for our song selections. We sent him over a list of Spotify playlists for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing to help them get a feel of the vibes we were trying to establish. They also did a good job of curating other songs to fit within our vibe. He was also good on time management when specific events needed to take place such as the grand entrance, speeches, first dance, etc.
Overall, we are very happy with Steven Vance Entertainment and would recommend this type of combination.

We hired a string duo for our outdoor wedding ceremony for this past weekend and the music was absolutely beautiful! We would do it over and over again, 100%. Our guests were also so pleased. They were on cue with all of the songs that we chose and as a bride, it was beautiful to have the live music to walk down the aisle to. Highly recommend working with Steven Vance!

Fantastic Experience!!
Cannot say how great Steve Vance and company were for our May 20, 2023 wedding! Steve Vance performed the electric violin for the ceremony and cocktail hour and was such a huge hit! He nailed it with a great mix of new hits and classic songs for the whole crowd and created a perfect ambiance. We had DJ Mike Greca for the reception and he absolutely nailed it! He played every single song that we requested plus many others and the dance floor was seriously never empty! They truly made our wedding a party. I cannot say enough about how nice and attentive they were through the whole process! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone planning an event!

Wonderful DJ and violinist!
For our wedding reception we hired Steven Vance and his team to play the pop-rock violin at cocktail hour and then DJ the reception. We were paired with Joey Molinaro who did both the Violin and DJ for us. He was AMAZING!!! We received so many compliments on his violin performance for cocktail hour and He did a great job announcing our entrances. We are pretty picky about music and gave him a list of the types of songs we like and what we wanted played and he did a great job pulling songs from our list, reading the crowd, taking requests and keeping our dance floor PACKED. Could not have been happier with their services and would highly recommend working with them!

John created a beautiful ambiance on the piano for our wedding day
John performed on the piano at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and did a lovely job. He was very accommodating by bringing his own keyboard to the ceremony since the cocktail hour piano was not able to be moved at our venue. He also mastered the music we requested and even provided us with a demo of the song my wife walked down the aisle to. He was very pleasant to work with and we are thankful to have had him on our wedding day.

I booked a violinist through Steven Vance for my wedding ceremony. Juan was the violinist assigned to me and he was so incredibly talented! We did a backyard tented wedding and we were on the fence with hiring a DJ. I am so glad we did! The event went so smooth and everyone had a blast thanks to our DJ, Matt. Book Steven Vance Entertainment ASAP!
My husband and I knew we wanted “something unique and special” incorporated into our wedding and Steven Vance and his Pop Rock Electric Violin performance was just that and more!
The week of our wedding I let Steven know we needed a VERY specific version of a song played for our first dance because we were surprising our guests with a choreographed dance and he played it spot on! Our guests are still raving about his performance during our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner. If you want your guests, months later, still talking about how awesome your wedding was book Steven Vance ASAP!
We had DJ Nacho who we also booked through Steven Vance Entertainment provide DJ services during our reception (this was a wonderful and convenient feature to have both performers booked through one company). He kept the party going and all of our guests out on the dance floor! We had a unique bridal party entrance that went to the starting lineup of the Chicago Bulls and DJ Nacho outdid himself with the script we gave him!
Both Steven Vance and DJ Nacho were extremely professional, great entertainers, and executed our requests flawlessly. We couldn’t be happier with our experience!

We had Joyce Wohlgemuth as the violinist for our wedding at Phipps. Joyce was so wonderful to work with. From the start, she was very responsive and made sure that we were able to have exactly the music that we wanted during our ceremony. She even went out of her way to get sheet music for a special song that I wanted to walk down the aisle to. It made such a difference to have her play before and during the ceremony (she is so talented!) – our guests loved the live music and the electric violin in particular created a lovely ambience. Amazing Entertainment!
A couple of years before my husband and I got married, I went to dinner at Houlihan’s with my mom, and Steven Vance was playing the electric violin during happy hour. My mom and I couldn’t get over how lovely it sounded and how talented he was, so we grabbed a business card on the way out and talked with him for a few minutes. When it came time to planning our wedding, I instantly remembered Steven. When I told my then-fiancé, he made the connection that one of Steven’s violinists had also played at his dad and stepmother’s wedding. How could we ignore all of those signs? We reached out to Steven right away and booked an electric violinist (Ron Molinaro – the same violinist from my in-laws’ wedding!), DJ (Mike Greca) and photo booth (Art Campbell) all through his company. It was so simple and very reasonable for all of that entertainment for the evening! Ron did such a beautiful job during the ceremony and happy hour, and our guests couldn’t say enough about how he clearly enjoys his work. Mike kept everyone out on the floor all night long, and he played all of our favorite songs we requested. Our guests loved the photo booth, and Art provided us with a wonderful album and flash drives of all the photos taken that evening. We can’t say enough good things about each of them, and we would highly recommend Steven Vance Entertainment for your next event!

Steve was incredible from the beginning - he was easy to book with and made the process even easier with his music sheets for us to fill out. His website is clear and has suggestions for music in certain moments of the day, which we found to be incredibly helpful. He played the electric violin at our ceremony and dinner, which was a fan favorite, and was an AMAZING DJ for our wedding. We got married on New Year's Eve, so we really needed someone to keep the party going. Steve exceeded all expectations. Our guests are still telling us how great our DJ was. Excellent experience
We had to make changes last min because of Covid and Steven was extremely flexible with our hourly changes. We changes locations and time and he was happy to assist with everything. The electric violin made our night unique and special. He took requests and everyone had fun. Overall 5 stars and I would definitely recommend him

Great music selection
We provided our DJ, Vanessa, a huge Spotify playlist in advance to sort through. She also provided us a big sheet that we picked preferences from like type of music, other events at the wedding, do-not-play list, and a please-play list.
At the event, she was lively and was the right tempo for our wedding. She was friendly and mixed the songs from the playlist so well. So she actually didn't play any slow dances and apologized for this afterward but we told her it was quite alright as there were many people on the dancefloor continuously the entire night. That was unlike most other weddings that we had been to.

Amazing Entertainment!!
Steven Vance Entertainment is your one stop shop for a wide entertainment services (violinists, DJ services, etc). While Steven himself was unable to play at our wedding due to a prior commitment, he was able to provide an excellent violinist for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. The DJ supplied also was top notch! Communication was superb and they definitely helped with the planning process. Thanks so much!!!

Amazing talent & professionalism
Steve was absolutely wonderful to work with over the last 30 months. Like many others, our wedding was postponed several times. Throughout it all, he was so genuine and cordial given the circumstances and was always willing to do whatever he could to meet our needs! His flexibility was great as was his communication. If you're looking for musicians &/or a DJ, Steven Vance and his team are IT! Steven coordinated our ceremony musicians, played his electric guitar during happy hour and DJ'ed for us. He's easy to work with, a consummate professional, and seriously delivers an incredible, intimate experience. Everyone (guests and us included) were so impressed and still talk about the music from our wedding!

Perfect wedding!
We had Steven vance play violin during our ceremony, electric violin during the cocktail hour, and dj during the reception. It was great having the variety of services all with one vendor. He was also great and adapting our plans when we were running behind schedule. We had a special song to play for my partners and he came to find me first to make sure everyone was present on the dance floor. All in all we were super happy and highly recommend!!!

Great experience!
We were so happy and pleasantly surprised with the smooth and easy process with Steven Vance. It seemed like a nightmare to try to arrange every different performer and service for our wedding, but Steven Vance made that super easy. We booked a DJ, violinist, photo booth, and uplighting together for a very reasonable price. All were very professional, responsive, and great to work with. Would highly recommend Steven Vance!

Wonderful music

September 25, 2021 Wedding
Steven played at my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at my wedding last month. I was told by my guests his violin during cocktail hour was “magical”. Steven truly elevates your entire wedding night with his violin and DJ talents. From start to finish the dance floor was PACKED. I didn’t even give him a playlist, he was able just to read the room and get the party going. When I had to postpone my wedding, he was the very first person I got in touch with because I wanted to make SURE we secured him for our new date. Best decision ever!!! He is super professional, his talent is remarkable, and he was the best DJ I have ever encountered. Every guest has told me it was the best wedding they have ever been to and they couldn’t get over how awesome Steven was. BOOK HIM NOW!!

Best combination of live and DJ music!!
We hired Steven Vance as a violinist and DJ. He was amazing! So many of our guests commented on his ability to play so many modern/pop songs on the violin from memory. Several of our guests asked for his card to book him for their own events. During dinner, he played a wide variety of songs that kept all our guests happy. He was also great as a DJ, keeping guests on the dance floor all night. If you are looking for a mix of live music and DJ, this is your guy!!

Absolutely amazing!
Steven was incredible. He played at our august rooftop wedding .He helped me plan and coordinated with our pastor. He preformed one of my husband and I’d favorite songs. He arrived early and was able to set up on the rooftop! He was so pleasant. I would hire him again any day and recommend to anyone looking for a talented Violinist! Thank you so much Steven! :)

We hired Steven Vance for acoustic violin for our ceremony prelude and recessional, electric violin during dinner, and DJ services for the reception. This was absolutely the BEST decision. Not only was Steven responsive and thorough with all of our questions in the months leading up to the event, but he really kept the party going. A Man of Many Talents
The one thing I knew before I was even engaged was the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to and that was "Storybook Love" from the Princess Bride. So I knew I wanted someone to play the instrumental version live. Luckily when we were looking for someone to perform this, we found Steve and saw that he was also a DJ! 2-in-1 vendors are a dream and we were very excited about Steven Vance. He has plenty of YouTube videos to showcase his talents. He even recorded "Storybook Love" and posted it for me after our initial call so I could see how his performance was. When we were finalizing everything, he wasn't opposed to ANY suggestion - even when I asked him not to use backing music for my walk down the aisle. He stated "It's your day, we will do whatever you want." We could not have been happier. We even asked him to play iconic movie music while the guests were being seated at the ceremony. I wish I could have heard that, but of course I was elsewhere. Everyone seemed to enjoy his talents. We opted to have him perform the walking violin during dinner and loved every moment. It was great to hear the songs that our guests asked him to play and he was able to play them all - even the Ghostbuster's theme and the theme to Sesame Street! He kept the reception moving and when it came time for the dance party, he even had people that I KNOW don't dance out on the floor.

We cannot recommend Steven Vance for future weddings enough! We got the acoustic violin and DJ package, and our team was everything we could've asked for. Our violinist, Jennifer, and DJ, Matt, were both so professional and attuned to what we envisioned for our wedding. I had a very specific vision for the ceremony and Steven, Jennifer, and DJ Matt were all super accomodating in order to make this dream a reality. We saw Steven Vance perform at the Open House held by our reception venue, The Holy Trinity Center (which is amazing as well). Right away, we KNEW we had to have a violinist from his team play during our special day. We were lucky enough to have a member of Steven Vance's team, Joyce, play the violin during our cocktail hour and through dinner. She allowed us to choose songs from her list that we wanted played throughout the night. We received so many compliments on her performance from our guests. We wouldn't have wanted to have our cocktail/dinner music any other way. Highly recommend this team of talented artists!!

The Steven Vance Experience was quite the musical experience!! Steve played acoustic violin for our ceremony, electric violin for cocktail hour, and then was our DJ for our reception.
Guests won’t stop talking about our cocktail hour!! He plays modern songs with the background music and his electric violin— think Bridgerton vibes!
Honestly, he has been in the business for so long, has so many quality reviews, and the fact that he could do it all— it was a no brainer for us to have him.
