  We used Steve Strand for our destination wedding in beautiful Maui and we couldn't have been happier with his professional work. He is such a caring photographer and really does a beautiful job capturing every moment. He took pictures before the wedding, during the wedding and stayed at our reception to photograph our guests and the fun we were having. He took so many pictures and it was hard to choose the best because they were all great!! When we finally made our choices, he put together a gorgeous wedding album. He is very talented and we highly recommend Steve Strand. You will be so happy you chose him.

  I cannot say enough great things about Steve Strand as a photographer. He did both my engagement and wedding and the pictures came out breathtaking.
  
  He met us before hand at the condo and then at the beach for the wedding at sunset. We had a last minute location change and Steve had no issues and always had a smile on his face. I feel like we pulled him around in many different directions for the look we were going for and Steve happily obliged.
  
  Steve had the proofs ready for us very quickly after the shoot and was extremely responsive to emails and texts.
  
  For what it may be worth, Steve is also an all around wonderful person to know on Maui. We have stayed in touch as the years have gone on and hope to continue so in the future.
  
  I am happy to give this recommendation as the best photographer on Maui.

  Steve is great! I have worked with him professionally several times as an event planner at an annual event we host in Maui. We typically have him come in and take sunset portraits of our attendees, and he nails it every time! Gorgeous photos that our attendees have always cherished as memorable keepsakes. We've been so happy with his work at our events that when I brought my family to Maui this past December, I didn't hesitate calling him for family portraits, and they turned out beautiful! He is very laid back, knowledgeable about the island (sunrise & sunset, prime sunlight hours, best beaches, etc), and creative when it comes to posing. You should definitely hire Steve! We are fans!
