I could not recommend Steve Moody’s Entertainment enough!! We had the pleasure of having Jim as our DJ for our wedding and we got nothing but compliments from our guests. He was so easy to work with and we truly could not have had a better match. We gave him ideas for songs that would keep people on the dance floor and he absolutely nailed it. He was so good going with the flow and giving us updates throughout the night. The dance floor was full and everyone was bummed when it was time for the last song. Nobody wanted to stop dancing! We used Steve both as our DJ and officiant and he was wonderful in both roles! He made sure to add personal touches about our relationship to our ceremony and was incredibly flexible with many last minute song changes. Outstanding DJ Services
From the day we first met Steve at our tasting, we knew his DJ services were going to be perfect for our ceremony and reception. He was extremely friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. We worked with Steve to pick Ty as our DJ for the big day and he was everything we were hoping for. Ty was very personable, down to earth, and a great calming presence to help MC our reception and ensure all of our wants/needs were met. Ty was even a bit of a jokester with a fun personality which we absolutely loved as well. We would highly recommend Steve Moody and especially Ty for any wedding or event you are looking to plan!

Amazing DJ!!
We loved working with Steve. He was such a vital part in making our day so special. His energy is unmatched. He ad libbed amazing moments that helped me and my husband really take in the day and enjoy every second. His playlist was perfect I never wanted to leave the dance floor! His communication leading up to the event was seamless and made me feel like I was in good hands because he was so prepared and knew exactly what we wanted. I also highly recommend the highest package for the photobooth. It was the perfect touch for an already perfect day. Having his team organize and decorate our photobooth album was awesome, one of our favorite parts was going through that photo book at the end of the weekend. 10/10 recommend Steve Moody for your DJ!!! Steve was absolutely amazing! He was so helpful throughout our entire planning process. He was always available to answer our questions and he was a great officiant. Steve was the absolute best. We couldn't be more happy with our experience having him be the DJ and MC at our wedding. He Made Our Wedding Feel Personal and Fun
From the very beginning, working with Steve Moody was an amazing experience. The owner was our DJ, and he truly exceeded our expectations. He was professional, personable, and made the entire process feel easy and enjoyable.
What stood out right away was how personal he made everything. Early on, we connected over our kids, and he mentioned how much he was looking forward to meeting us, and you could tell he genuinely meant it. Nothing but good things to say - Steve Moody' Entertainment Connection absolutely delivered across the board. Communications were timely, cost was more than reasonable, and most importantly of all, the dance floor was crowded from start to finish. Steve and his team were exceptional in every way. He was responsive to the bride and groom and always had time for us. He delivered exceptional service. I am so happy I booked Steve Moody for our wedding DJ! I spoke with Steve over the phone a year before the wedding and he was so helpful to answer all my questions. We had Jim Baker as our DJ on our wedding day and he was so friendly and made the entire wedding ceremony and reception such a blast! Steve was very responsive anytime we had questions. Everything was so organized and made planning so easy for us. The day of went great and DJ Jim was able to make some adjustments on the fly based on the vibe on our dance floor. An overall great experience and affordable!

Working with Steed Moddy’s entertainment company is a must!! My family knew next to nothing when it came time to plan my sisters wedding so you can imagine the stress. Steve Moody and his team made this huge part of the wedding easy, fun, and affordable.
They are extremely accommodating to any requests and schedules as well as intuitive to whatever you want/had in mind for your big day. Everyone spent the day smiling, laughing, and dancing and I know the people working at Steve Moodys played a huge part in making all that possible. Amazing Experience with Steve and His Team at Our Wedding!
We had the pleasure of working with Steve for our wedding at the Tidewater Inn, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Steve was always responsive to emails and texts, making communication easy and stress-free throughout the planning process. His portal platform was user-friendly, allowing us to pick out the must-have songs for our reception with ease.
On the day of the wedding, Steve and his team were incredibly professional. They set up and broke down all the equipment promptly, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The photo booth was a major hit—his team was not only friendly and helpful, but they also made sure everyone had fun throughout the night.
We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and photo booth experience. Highly recommend Steve for anyone looking to for a DJ or photo booth for their wedding!

As a 10-26-2024 bride, every vendor I booked highly recommended Steve Moody's DJ services. I even went as far as spending the extra money and booking Steve himself. The planning process was so detailed and smooth it made the final conference call before the wedding easy. Steve is so professional, quick to respond, and you can tell he loves what he does. I gave Steve the vibe/mood of what kind of music I wanted to play for cocktail hour and the reception and he did not disappoint. 3 days after the wedding, guests and the wedding party were still talking about how amazing the DJ was. He interacted with the guests, played the best music, and truly made my wedding the best night ever!! I cannot recommend Steve and his crew enough.

Flawless & Seamless Sound, Great Dance Party
If you’re looking to keep the dance party going all night long and for sound with no snags, look no further than Steve Moody's company!!! He came highly recommended to us by a very experienced wedding planner who promised us that he was the best there was out there. She was absolutely right.
Steve called us hours after we filled out the form letting him know we were interested in working with him. He was so kind, personable, and professional. He immediately put us at ease, and we knew that we were in good hands.
On the day of our wedding, we worked with DJ Jim Baker, who was also wonderful. He cued and transitioned well between the songs we used for our processional, the songs we sang during our ceremony (no live band, just Jim), and the music we used for proceeding out of the ceremony/cocktail hour. All of our sound worked flawlessly for our officiant and the reading of our vows, as well as the speeches during dinner. Our dance party was AMAZING because Jim knew how to keep people dancing.
Our experience with Steve Moody was worth every penny. There were no snags in the sound and our guests had amazing time during our dance party. Do yourself a favor and go with Steve. You'll be rewarded with peace of mind for the rest of your wedding process and, equally as important, you won't give sound a second thought on the day of your wedding because the true professionals will have it covered. Steve Moody and his team are something to aspire to. Professional, communicative, and high quality. He was so helpful with last minute changes and optional services, like the photobooth that everyone loved, a game of limbo that made for the best photos, and facilitating our duet in place of our first dance. Steve Moody is the first choice for an A-Team of wedding vendors. We had so many compliments on how smooth everything went, despite half the venue staff out due to Covid, and he played a major role in keeping things moving at a flexible and reasonable pace. On top of this, the sound was great and so was his song selection, keeping folks on the dance floor.

Let’s start with WOW! Steve did an absolutely wonderful job at my son & daughter in law’s wedding. He was not only the DJ at the reception but he was the officiant for their ceremony. Steve was kind, caring and funny during the ceremony which put R & K at ease while being stared at by over a hundred people. That was impressive!!
We had the Photo Booth with props which people loved and we have so many pictures of family & friends having a great time!! We also had R & K’s name with the date in lights on the dance floor-beautiful! I’m now trying to find a reason to have another party so Steve can come back again!
He truly made a special day even more special by his kindness, caring about his clients needs and true professionalism.

Steve is highly recommended as a DJ and MC! He was so understanding, knowledgeable, flexible, and communicated like he was a lifelong friend. He made myself and my wife feel extremely comfortable during the entire process of our wedding, and the planning form he uses is extremely thorough (which helps alleviate stress of all the details!). “I’ve never seen so many people on the dance floor”-
The most common thing we heard after our wedding was “I have never seen so many people on the dance floor”. Jim was phenomenal! He brought the party and kept it going!!! The music was great, our guests had a blast, and Jim even has a voice that sounds straight off the radio, which added to him being an awesome MC! He was also extremely helpful and flexible.
Steve and Lori were awesome coordinators, we had everything we needed, and working with them was the smoothest and easiest process out of the whole wedding planning experience.
10/10 would recommend! Best decision we made aside from getting married.

My Husband and I had the best experience with Steve Moody. He was our officiant and DJ for our wedding. He made us feel like we were royalty on our wedding day. From beginning to end we had a great and personable experience. He took the time we needed to discuss what would work best for our ceremony and reception. Steve Moody, of Steve Moody’s Entertainment was absolutely amazing to deal with! After being ghosted by the DJ company we had originally been communicating with for a few weeks, I reached out to Steve and he was prompt, getting back to me immediately! We were definitely in good hands with Steve Moody Entertainment as they always made themselves available to answer questions anytime we needed through phone calls, emails, and even occasional texts. Don't Miss Out - Book Steve Moody Now!
Had the pleasure of having Steve Moody and his team at our wedding on August 31, 2024. I truly can't say enough great comments about the entire experience. We found him as he DJ'd one of our best friends wedding and my fiance (now husband) had only one request while planning our wedding... Book Steve Moody. After the amazing time we had at her wedding, I was on the same page.
Steve and his team make the whole process easy. As 2 people who are very passionate about music, this was important to us. He was incredibly helpful with his portal and easy planning form, attentive throughout the whole process, and responsive. We even had some last minute changes -- no problem with Steve Moody! He was quick to pivot with us and made us feel calm and excited throughout the process. During the ceremony, he made sure our officiant (my brother who had never officiated a day in his life) was comfortable and set up properly and played the music in perfect time. During the reception, he did an amazing job at keeping things on pace and making sure we were comfortable during our special dances. He also did amazing introductions. The whole dance floor was popping all night long. We got so many compliments afterwards on the music selections from a wide range of ages. We also did the photobooth and WOW people had so much fun with the amazing props. They even were thoughtful enough to save a copy of each photobooth picture for us, the couple, so we could see all the fun people had.
Overall, Steve provided a 5 star experience all around. We couldn't recommend him and his team enough if you are looking for an incredible wedding.

We were blown away by how great Steve was. He had a strong line of communication with us prior to our wedding, which helped relieve a lot of our stress. He was even better at our wedding. He was organized and everything ran so smoothly. He had the perfect balance of talking on the mic and letting the night play out, which was very important for us. If there was something we wanted he made sure he had it and the day of the wedding was so smooth and everyone complimented how great of a DJ Steve was. I would recommend Steve Moody Entertainment to any one and have. I hope in the future we have an event because I know who we will have to be the DJ! Off the bat the communication was amazing! They let us know how the whole process would work and that we could contact them at any time with questions. You can really customize your ceremony and reception to what you want. They had an amazing set up and everyone had an amazing time with them! Could not recommend enough!

Steve and Austin were amazing! They took care of setting up all of their equipment and took care of the music from the start of the processional to the last dance song of the night without missing a beat!! Everyone at our wedding loved them and raved about them afterward! The team is very responsive to questions and very helpful with the planning process. 10/10 recommend!!

Steve was always in communication with us and was also always there for any questions. We went into our wedding day confident and at ease due to his professionalism and experience. Steve has an amazing team- you want him as your DJ
From the beginning of the planning process, to two days before the wedding requesting a song change, to accommodating multiple schedule and ceremony curveballs- Steve and his team handled it with ease and accommodation! We had so many guests compliment him on his MC skills along with his song transitions (even guests who were wedding planners themselves)! We are HUGE dancers so the DJ was a top priority for us… we had the absolute best time and Steve really took charge in helping the day flow smoothly. Would recommend him and his crew time and time again! Thank you!!!

DJ Jim and the entire SMEC staff were amazing. Not a complaint all night and the whole event went seamlessly even with a couple different people singing and switching back and forth between live music and recorded tracks. Amazing experience overall.

I don't have enough words for how great Steve was!
Steve was amazing from start to finish. Our venue recommended SME to DJ our wedding and for good reason! The planning forms and keeping us updated throughout the process were so helpful and made the process easy. He is quick to reply and very informative on any questions we had. Our officiant was a family member and Steve made every effort possible to help walk him through the process and make him feel comfortable for his first time officiating.
Our guests LOVED having Steve DJ/MC our wedding. He kept things on track and I can't even count how many people asked "where did you find him, he's great" or "how do you know him, is he a family friend?". So many of our guests thought he was a family member himself because he just fit right in and had everyone engaged and paying attention. I highly recommend Steve and his team for your event!

Excellent services from DJ Steve & team!
We hired Steve as our officiant and DJ, and he also provided us with a photo booth. He was an excellent officiant and kept our crowd engaged even though we had an unexpected timing setback. As a DJ he did a great job at making announcements throughout the night and also played almost all of the music we requested which was very much appreciated. His team setup the Photo Booth which was a HUGE hit and I also loved that it didn’t take up a ton of space. We got the package where a team member even setup a scrapbook for us with photos. Steve really made our day extra special and I also felt his pricing was very fair. I would highly recommend hiring him for your big day as well!!

Wow!!! What can I possibly say to convey our overall experience using SMEC. We had an amazing experience with SMEC. The customer service exceeded our expectation and the overall experience was "FANTASTIC". From our first meet, we knew we would be having SMEC DJ'ing our wedding. Steve and his team was hands on from the start and was all in through the whole process. All of our guest commented on how much fun they had, especially with the photo booth. I would highly recommend getting the photo booth for your wedding. It was a HIT!!!Our DJ Matt Spence was exceptional in the services he provided. He kept our guest on the dance floor the whole night. Amazing wedding DJ who kept the party going!!
Steve Moody was awesome from start to finish. Throughout the planning process he was so helpful and easygoing and we could tell he cared about making our wedding beautiful, fun, and personal. He took all our questions and odd requests like it was nothing and did an amazing job as both DJ and MC on the day itself. It all went so smoothly and he kept the party going with his skills and his fun, energetic personality!! I had trouble leaving the dance floor to take a break/get a drink etc. since he kept playing all the best songs - both ones we'd requested and ones he just knew would be great to play. Steve was a pleasure to work with and is the reason so many guests complimented us with "this was the best wedding ever!" :)

Amazing DJ!!!
Steve did an AMAZING job at our wedding this past weekend!! We knew that we wanted Steve's company to be our dj from the very beginning and we were so lucky to get Steve personally!! We could not have asked for anything better for our wedding entertainment! Steve was incredibly responsive from start to finish. The planning page we completed helped to put our mind at ease and ensure that the music was exactly what we wanted and envisioned. He also helped to ensure that our day went smoothly with making of various timeline announcements. During one of our phone conversations Steve said, “I want you to feel like you have a friend up there supporting you” and he did exactly that. I cannot recommend them enough!

Outstanding DJ and Officiant Service All Around
We had Matt Spence as our DJ and Steve Moody as our Officiant and have nothing but great things to say! We probably booked around 2 months prior to our wedding (so we were kinda late with our planning) and Steve was able to move some things around and be our officiant!
DJ planning was easy using their online portal and we talked with Matt a week or so prior to finalize everything. He was great to work with on our wedding night and everything went exactly as discussed with some last minute small changes/announcements that we added in. Steve was also a great officiant and talked with us for awhile to build a good speech that really highlighted us as a couple. He also provided a draft prior to and allowed us to make changes to. Everything turned out great for our special day and we'd recommend him and his DJ services to anyone looking! Our wedding was at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and Steve Moody was one of their recommended vendors so his team was very familiar with the layout of the club and had done many weddings there previously -- just another reason everything went off seamlessly without any worries!

Tristan and his assistant Taylor made the night so amazing! The ceremony ran smoothly, introductions were a blast and the dance floor was packed the whole night. They were both so nice and personable and I would recommend their service to any other couple!! I can't say enough about how pleased we were with Steve! He totally understood the vibe we wanted to create and played exactly the music we wanted. From our first call with Steve Moody, we knew we would be in great hands with SMEC and didn't need to look any further for our wedding DJ. Every aspect of the planning went smoothly, and Steve & Lori would check in with us regularly to see if we had any questions or needed assistance. We hired SMEC for our ceremony sound as well. We've been to weddings where the microphone goes in & out and it's hard to hear, so we were very pleased and relieved by the flawless ceremony sound. Matt Spence was our reception DJ, and he did a phenomenal job with announcements, wedding party entrances, and keeping our guests on the dance floor all night long. Steve Moody's Entertainment Connection provided such a wonderful experience throughout the wedding planning process and the wedding itself. Everyone I spoke to was so friendly and responded very quickly. I loved the online planning platform and how organized and convenient it made the whole process. On the day of the wedding Steve was so friendly and fun. We're still getting compliments from guests! We had to make a few last minute changes and Steve was kind and flexible every step of the way.
