  Steve was fantastic to work with. He was on time, flexible and extremely knowledgeable on what photographed well or not. He came well planned with ideas as my fiancée and I had no clue on where to start. He had a mental check list on what shots we really
  needed and made sure we captured those moment, like the ring shots or some with full background or close up. As a result, our pictures were very diverse in background and options which meant we had a lot to choose from. One thing I thought was a huge perk was the post production work. After our photoshoot, he went through our pics and slightly enhanced them to make the perfect photo. Everything was still very natural, but he knew how to polish an image and bring it to the next level. Last thing to mention was he never rushed us and took the time even though we were well over our slotted time frame, he kept going ensure we got enough to use for our printed stationary as well as our wedding site. We highly recommend Steve, his services was beyond what we could have expected.

  I found Steve Maya Photography through Groupon and we used him for engagement shoot. Steve was amazing, he was personable and professional. We tortured him through the heat but he was a trooper and our pictures came out beautiful. He knew our theme and made sure every single picture was unique and fun. Unfortunately we already had our wedding photographer before we booked Steve but if we didn't I would have booked him in a heartbeat. If you want great pictures and to feel comfortable and relaxed through your shoot, Steve Maya is your man. We hope to use him again in the future.

  We used Steve for our engagement photo shoot. We came with ideas from Pinterest which we shared with him and he obliged us by taking those pics. Then, he very respectfully suggested other ideas. And you know, we used all of his ideas for our Engagement Photos, Engagement Announcements and Engagement Invitations! He is so talented! Naturally, we HAD to book Steve Maya for our wedding.
  Knowing his attention to detail and ease in communication, we were very excited to work with him again. We wanted our album to reflect our special day: elegant and beautiful. He expressed our intent while not making it trendy which would eventually be seen as "dated"; Classic poses without being old. Steve delivered on all counts and more! Our vision became his vision and I swear he made us believe he wanted the perfect shot more than we did! All while not being intrusive. He let the ceremony and party run itself and weaved himself into the mix. The shots he took made us not only reminisce on exciting moments, but also allowed us to experience parts of the party we weren't a part of.
  Thanks so much for your talent, Steve! You've made our photo memories amazing!

  My husband and I were so last minute with our winter photo shoot, Steve was so accommodating! We wanted winter pictures in Central Park and he knew all of the cutest spots in the park. I gave him a couple of pictures in advance to show him what I was thinking of and he knew the exact spots to take us to replicate it! The shoot was supposed to be an hour, but we went a little past that because Steve wanted to perfect the shots. Had an amazing time and amazing pictures!! I couldn't of been happier!!

  I never write any reviews on anyone, but I absolutely had to write one on Steve. I cannot say enough great things about him. I hired Steve to take photos for my parents’ 40th Wedding Anniversary. He was completely professional, sweet and caring. Both my parents are older people and he was so nice and patient with them both. He never rushed them at all and made sure that they were comfortable at all times.
  
  He has an incredible eye and the final results were stunning. His edits were just the right balance to make each picture shine even more. My parents were so in love with him and could not stop talking about him. They were beyond happy with the pictures he took of them. Steve was really able to capture the love my parents have for each other. He went above and beyond to make this photo shoot special and I will forever be grateful.
  
  I highly recommend Steve – he will make you feel comfortable, you will have fun, and at the end you will have absolutely BEAUTIFUL pictures!

  My husband and I used Steve Maya photography for our destination wedding in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico and we could not have made a better decision! Steve was professional, yet laid back and made our bridal party feel comfortable throughout the weekend. We did several events with our group and he was there to capture each special moment. I was nervous about how everything would turn out as we hadn't visited the property in Mexico before deciding to get married there, but it didn't matter as Steve scoped out the property when he arrived and recommended the places that we go for photos before and after the ceremony. We are so happy we were able to have Steve join us to another country to photograph our wedding, we would have nothing without him as the venue only included 24 photos in our package. When we got back to the states Steve mailed us electronic copies of all of our touched up prints and we made beautiful books that we gave to our parents. On a personal level, Steve was laid back, super chill, and with funny one liners that kept everyone amused all weekend long. I highly recommend Steve for any special event!
