Steve and Karen are great!

Steve and Karen were great to work with! They were great at listening to what we wanted and giving suggestions of their own. I love how the photos turned out. They did a perfect job capturing our personalities without feeling like everything was overly posed or artificial. Pics are worth a 1000 words so I'm just going to post some of my favorites and you can see for yourself!

Getting married on 9/19/2020

Just got our pictures back from our engagement photoshoot. Love every picture! During the photoshoot Steve and his wife made you feel comfortable and told you how to pose. He also made the shoot very fun with some fun photos. Would recommend this photographer!

Outside wedding 8.24.19

We hired Steve to photograph our wedding this summer at a horse farm in Holly. He was fantastic to work with! I knew right away that I had nothing to worry about. Him and his team are so nice and easy-going and professional. Everything went great and the pictures came out spectacular. You will not regret hiring him for your big day

The social booth was great!

Steve is great! He has worked at two Sweet 16 parties for me and the kids loved the being able to take pictures/gifs/boomerangs and immediately post them to social media!

Our experience was great

Where should I start? We use Steve Kaufman Photography for our engagement shoot and for our wedding day and I am so glad that we did. Steve is very professional, friendly, on time, and loves his job. He really knows how to make you feel comfortable. One of the things that I absolutely loved is how fast he got our pictures back to us. Very pleased

They worked really well with us, making sure they took all the photos we wanted. They had some very creative ideas as well. We received the photos from them faster than we could have believed. Excellent service and very professional!

I have no words for Steve. He was great from start to finish. I could honestly rave about him all day. Everyone loved him. He knew what he was looking for, was creative in the process and every shot was perfect. In reviewing the photos, I am so happy and overwhelmed with joy on how beautiful they are. If you are looking for a photographer, please do not look any further. He is the best hands down. He listened to all my needs and wants. Working with Steve was an absolute pleasure. From our engagement photos all the way through the entire process. It is obvious he loves what he does. The pictures of our wedding are awesome. He is a true professional in getting candid and posed shots that capture the moment perfectly. We feel lucky to have found Steve and highly recommended him.

Steve is such an amazing photographer for our wedding. We had a winter wedding at a ski resort. After our ceremony at the top of the hill he skied down with us as he took pictures. They were epic! Also at our reception he captured such great moments throughout the night. He has a social media tower ( like a free standing photo booth) that you can see all the photos that everyone takes and share them from an app. Its a definite must. I highly recommend Steve. He has great energy and super great to work with. We had a link to view our photos before we even returned from our honeymoon.

Steve Kaufman is amazing! He has done several different events for my family and each time he took phenomenal pictures!! During one family shoot my son was sick and not easy to work with. I was extremely frustrated but Steve was calm and upbeat the whole time. He is consistently professional, flexible, easy-going and positive. His pictures are beautiful and creative. Steve is also very fairly priced. I would highly recommend Steve Kaufman and will use him any time I need a great photographer!!

Steve was phenomenal to work with! He is incredibly creative and we ended up with amazing pictures, he also made them very easy to access all of the images for our personal use. I will say we probably spent more time takin pictures than living in the moment, so be conscious of that. However, the end result was phenomenal :)

Steve is an amazing photographer! He was extremely easy to work with from day 1 and continues to be great to work with even though the wedding is complete. My wedding photos are more beautiful than I ever dreamed. I was worried I would look like a deer in headlights, because I was so nervous and exhausted once the wedding day arrived. Steve gives clear direction on how to pose, so you & your groom look perfectly natural. He brought along his assistant (wife) and she was also an amazing photographer. The 2 of them make a great team. She always made sure my dress and train were positioned correctly, and she took pictures during the ceremony, so it was captured from 2 vantage points. I am so happy I went with Steve for my wedding photos. He is artistic and professional...an excellent combination!

Working with Steve was a great experience and a wise decision on our part. He was fliexible and let up add hours a week before the wedding! The pictures turned out incredible-we had more than 800 and we have the CD with all the images. Everyone's who's seen the photos has been as impressed as we were.

Steve rescued our bat mitzvah party as our photographer bailed on us a few months from the party. He was so flexible, and he worked with us to help create a great time for everyone who attended our event. We couldn't be happier with the way our pictures turned out!

Steve also did a photo booth for us. He gave us many suggestions and we took every one of them. People were asking where we got our backgrounds from, and we just pointed to Steve. We have referred Steve to several people since our party, and we will continue to do so!

We hope he is still available to do our next Bar Mitzvah, which will be in less than 7 years!!!!

I HIGHLY recommend Steve Kaufman for both videography and photography for your wedding. Steve was a truly a joy to work with and happily accommodated all of my specific requests. He also took our engagement photos (which included my rambunctious dog) and they turned out beautifully. The day of my wedding he and his team were so easy going and helpful and it made the hectic picture taking calm and easy! We had our pictures back from our wedding in 2 weeks and they turned out perfect! We can't wait to see the video and I'm sure it will be just as fantastic as the pictures! Steve is a pleasure to work with and I definitely recommend him for your photos and videos!

I choose Steve Kaufman for my photography and videography for my daughters wedding because of the quality and uniqueness of his work. Always on time, easy to reach, uses great equipment, dresses appropriately, easy to talk to and his staff is very nice. It did not take long to see the proofs and he and his staff are wonderful at making you look great!

We were so lucky to find Steve to do the photography for our wedding. We started out sitting down with him at his office and he showed us many examples of his awesome work. The minute we sat down with him, we knew we had found our photographer. We did the engagement photos in the fall which turned out exactly the way we wanted. Steve is very flexible and was always able to work us into his schedule. During the week of the wedding, Steve met us at our venue to look for places to shoot so we did not waste any time on the wedding day looking for locations. Steve showed up early on the wedding day and fit perfectly into the crowd. During the day, he is not at all intrusive and there were so many pictures that I did not even know he took. He made sure he got the right shot each and every time and we now have hundreds of wedding pictures that turned out perfect.

We also had Steve do the Photo Giveaway at our wedding as well. It was a huge success. Our guests loved getting to take pictures with family and friends and then get to take those same pictures home with them. It was so much better than rolling a photo booth into our venue. You could tell the pictures were professionally done and I know some of our guests now have them framed.

In all, if you can book Steve Kaufman for your wedding, I would not waste any time. We could not have found a better photographer in the area and I had no doubt that Steve would get the perfect shots for our special day.

Steve and his staff are AMAZING!!!! They were there for every aspect of our wedding and took some of the most amazing pictures. We were thrilled with all of the beautiful pictures we got and them memories that were captured for all to see. Steve worked with us personally to combine the vision we had and the area we were working with to inspire his creativity. He had a keen eye for beautiful shots and artistic photos we will treasure forever! His lighthearted personality makes him easy to get along with and very comfortable, he made everything seem so natural! We are so happy we went with Steve Kaufman Photography, it was the best decision!!!!!!

STEVE SAVED OUR WEDDING DAY! Not only was he an amazing photgrapher, capturing the most candid moments, he truely wanted our day to be the best day of our lives. Steve followed our limo to the reception hall, when it broke down on the side of I-69, Steve did not let us get upset, he did not let me cry. He had us all posing for pictures in the most wonderful field and kept the mood light and happy. The pictures turned out amazing from the feild and they now accent our wall! I can honestly say that if Steve wasn't there, we would have been in much wose spirits. Steve took outstanding shots and so many people commented by saying "you are so getting your money's worth". We couldn't be happier with how he captured our memories and was the savior of our wedding.

Having Steve do our pictures was the best thing I ever did. He did such a great job. We actually hired him to do our wedding photos, we then had a different day for our Celebration & he did an awesome job for us there. He was so professional & fun to have as a photographer. Steve works right along with you and makes sure that he gets all the important pics taken without you even knowing that he took them. I can't say enough about everything that he did for us!!! So glad that we picked Steve to do our pictures, he was amazing :)

Steve and his assistant were very kind. They showed up early to get shots of me getting ready before the wedding. He did the bridal party shots before the wedding so that wouldn't cut into the reception. They were very enjoyable to work with and extremely helpful. He gave me suggestions for poses and was also open to trying my ideas too. He went to multiple locations for me. He was very kind to my guests. He graciously allowed guests to use flash photography while he was taking pictures. One of my guests told me that when she was standing next to him taking pictures of me he asked her in a sincere and genuine manner if he was in her way. She thought that was really nice of him. At the end of the night, Steve stayed late and made sure I got all of the important shots (cake cutting, first dance, etc). The pictures are amazing. Many of my friends have told me that he was definitely worth the money. I'm really glad that I went with him as my photographer. Not only will I have these breathtaking photos for the rest of my life, but I will also have great memories of taking the pictures. You spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day. And I was so overwhelmed by Steve's kindness and how much he had done for me that day. It really made it an enjoyable experience.

Steve's photographers took portraits of all the attendees at our party. The images are a real keepsake--wonderful pictures of our family! The photographers were so nice and patient with our large family. We were very pleased.

Steve was a great photographer. He had a keen and uncanny eye for beauty and likes doing photos others may be afraid to do. Our pictures came out beautiful and were a great mixture of styles. We loved the backgrounds Steve thought of for our portraits (a lake in Michigan with water, trees and absolute beauty) and were so pleased he captured all our special moments. He had a great wedding package and we can't wait to see our photo book that we ordered. Our only regret is that we hired him for less hours than we should've. He is someone that should be at the wedding until it's over.

So much fun!

Steve and Karen did our engagament shoot and 6 hrs at our wedding. Steve was so flexible scheduling and rescheduling the engagement shoot around the weather. Very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The pics turned out great and we got them back the very next day! Working with Steve and Karen on our wedding day was so much fun! They are so easy to work with and Steve did a great job bringing out everyone's smiles and personalities. During the ceremony, I had no idea they were even there. I gave them a shot list ahead of time that they made a point to get thru it. I forgot a few on the list and they were able to squeeze in a few extra shots. They captured the day beautifully and when I got the wedding pics back 6 days later it really was almost like reliving it and going thru all the emotions again. Can't complain about the cost either. No regrets hiring Steve and I'd do it again if I had the opportunity.

Steve was a great photographer. He's a little "quirky" but I believe that's a pre-req for an artist. He made us feel comfortable during the photo shoots and definitely had an eye for unique, cool settings. Overall he got some great shots of our wedding and I'm very happy with the results. His prices for the photography were very competitively set, however I found his price for wedding albums to be outrageous.

Steve was flexible in meeting with us after work and spent an afternoon with us prior to the wedding deciding on exact locations that we'd like to have photos taken, ensuring the day of our wedding went very smoothly.

Brides beware! Do not use!

Just used Steve on October 12,2019 and he took the WORST PICTURES EVER! If you want memories of your wedding day DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have cried many tears and contemplate getting redressed to redo at least some photos with a different photographer! He sent 1500 pictures back in 4 days and said ne spent alot of time on them! Lol! 4 DAYS! NOTHING was edited, pictures were off centered, miles away, bridal party was NOT organized at all. I could go on and on about all the bad so just DON'T USE HIM! GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE! Trust me his pictures look nothing like on his website!

Contracts Unfulfilled

We hired Steve last spring for our August wedding. We picked him because his photos were beautiful and his ratings were good. Since we live out of state, we emailed back and forth to discuss what we wanted. The contract we agreed upon said we would get the photos online password protected, a flash drive of all the photos and a video montage. We paid the entire fee upfront so we would not have to worry about it on the big day.

The wedding day came and we spent a ton of time taking pictures. We got the link to the photos ten days later, we were so impressed with the quick turnaround. The online photos all had his photography logo so you had to click each one individually to open, then click again to download without the logo. With almost 1,000 photos, we were anxiously awaiting the usb drive to be able to mass upload them instead of spending hours to download individually. We emailed to find out when we would receive it and were told it was in the mail. A few months later, we finally received the usb drive with about half the pictures. We emailed again to find out what happened with the other half of the pictures and our video montage. We were assured it was a simple error and he would get another usb in the mail ASAP. A few weeks later we finally received the rest of the pictures. Still no video montage. We have since called and emailed multiple times over the last few months with no response. It’s been almost a year now and we still never received our video montage that was part of our signed contract. We asked that he would give us back the portion of our fee for not completing his end of the contract and never even got a reply. The quality of work that we received was good but we definitely didn’t get everything we paid for and are still disappointed a year after the fact.
