Absolutely amazing! The perfect experience!

Mr. Sterling is an absolute joy to work with! From the very beginning, he worked tirelessly with my new husband and I to make sure we had the most absolute perfect experience imaginable! He offered us so many options and was readily available to coordinate! Even with responding so quickly and promptly to emails, he made the time to specifically come meet us, to sit down with us and actually get to know us, our personalities, and exactly what we were looking for in terms of our memories for our special day. Working with him was so wonderful - he's so courteous, so kind, so open and understanding, and most of all an amazing professional with the true eye of an artist! If you want someone who will bring out the inner AND outer beauty of you and your love, then he is absolutely who you are looking for! He captured some of the most beautiful and amazing shots ever, using the scene and surroundings to their best effect! He worked endlessly and tirelessly to make sure that we were able to have our most special moments captured, and thanks to his true artistry and professionalism, we now have the happiest moments of our lives forever!

Great experience

Sterling photographed our wedding from getting ready until we left. He was very involved in every aspect of the big day and seemed excited to be there and be apart of it all. He was very helpful from the beginning stages of planning up until the wedding day. The Photos came out amazing and plenty of them! We got the pictures back in about 3 weeks exactly which was awesome! We definitely recommend sterling to anyone who wants a great, friendly, professional photographer for your big day!

Exceptional!

Sterling was exceptionally great to work with and very accommodating. He was friendly and fun and made our big day much more special. Helped everyone forget about how hot it was. We are very thankful to have had him as our photographer and we highly recommend him.

The best photographer to work with!

Sterling and his team are nothing short of amazing. They are punctual, professional and always willing to go the extra mile. I love that Sterling's personality is so laid back while also paying attention to the most minute details. He and his team made my wedding party feel at ease. He was never barking orders at us in order to get the perfect shot.

I also remember being on the dance floor during our wedding and noticing little moments that I would love to have captured. By the time I looked around for Sterling to see whether he had noticed the moments I had, he had clearly beat me to the punch and had already been snapping away. He is always 2 steps ahead!

Finally, I know that schooling does not necessarily result in an excellent photographer, but Sterling's background is exceptionally impressive. I could not find another photographer who had credentials even close to his.

We highly recommend Sterling and his team!!!

An amazing photographer!

Photographer for my 10/5/19 Wedding!

I am extremely happy I chose JR Sterling for my October 2019 wedding for his exceptional photography on my special day! He listened to all of my needs/ desires for the specific shots I really wanted and maintained my crazy large bridal party well with professionalism and the control necessary to get the job done well! I do wish we had gotten a second photographer like he suggested to ensure every big moment shot was hit perfectly when we were pushed for time, but the photos we received of my husband and I are absolutely beautiful and we received them in a very timely manner! Very professional, prompt, and willing to meet your needs with wonderful photography skills!

10/10 recommend! Helped this shy couple blossom at their garden wedding.

Sterling photographed our wedding back in June (outside in Florida no less!) and he was so comfortable and professional to work with. My husband and I aren't models by any stretch of the imagination, but he managed to capture our wedding on film without us looking awkward or out of place. I would absolutely recommend him for other occasions, but especially weddings. Any day where the last thing you need is an added stressor, Sterling offers a breath of fresh air and fun to the mix.

Professionalism at its finest

Mr Sterling is the absolute professional. From the time my wife and I enquired about his services, contract agreement through to the wedding day and afterwards, I have nothing but good things to say. He was on time, keen on family details and he knew how to deal with different personalities. Some of us don’t usually smile a lot in pictures and he knew all the things to say to get the smiles out of us despite already being happy about the big day. His command of people and knowing the angles, the poses, how to make my bride’s dress flow in pictures, the backdrops that would create pictures to savor forever were absolutely on point. If you need a photographer who is willing to work with you while providing optimum service and picture quality you have to work with sterling photography. Btw my wife and I are so happy with our pictures! He caught the moments of laughter and tears so well that you can feel the emotion and excitement just looking at the photos. Search no more! Sterling photography for sure!

Ivy is the best!

Our outdoor wedding was full of rain, sunshine and more rain. Ivy was amazing at accommodating us with the ever changing weather. She is an amazing photographer, and we cannot wait to see her final pictures.

Fantastic and Superbly talented photographer!

Sterling was super easy to work with. I met him at a wedding convention back in February 2019 and knew immediately that I wanted him to shoot our wedding. My husband and I opted out of an engagement shoot and chose to have Sterling come out the day before our wedding to shoot photos of our family and friends in town for our big day. He captured so many moments that I will now never forget. I am so grateful! He even sent me a sneak peek of my photos early on. Thank you so much for everything.

Lucky to find Sterling

Our photographer bailed on us about five months before our wedding. We consulted with our DJ for suggestions and suggested Sterling to us as a potential solution. As soon as I talked to Sterling on the phone, he was kind and understanding to our situation and agreed to be our photographer. He was flexible, knowledgeable, and did a beautiful job on our wedding photos I am so eager to get back! I cannot say thank you enough for helping us out and photographing our wedding.

Best I could have hoped for...EVER.

Sterling is the best photographer you can book! From our first meeting to our wedding day, we felt comfortable and inspired. His vision is stunning and we are so incredibly happy with our photos! JR Sterling was an excellent choice for our wedding photography! We felt like he immediately understood our vision and what we needed to bring it together for our special day on March 25th. JR is so fun to work with! He has an energy that is infectious and he made us feel so comfortable taking formal portraits. He did an outstanding job capturing our wedding! I was so happy with Sterling. He was professional and knew what he was doing. He got even my frowny face nephew to smile. (He's 3 and all pics from our destination wedding including pics in Disney show him frowning). It was really hot on my wedding day and he worked quickly and got amazing pictures. We did not spend hours taking pictures but it looked like we did when we got the pictures back. He captured our personalities and we have memories that we will treasure forever. My husband is silly and always joking and he caught all that on our wedding day. The laughter and his jokes. I am so happy that we had Sterling capture our big day.

We used Sterling photography for our wedding at paradise cove in October, coming from the Uk and having never seen where we were getting or had a meeting with anyone it's very daunting, however I shouldn't of been worried our e mails were answered quickly and professionally and immediately put my mind at ease. On the day JR made us feel really relaxed, he was friendly and fun to work with, my husband hates having his picture taken but even he enjoyed himself. My photos are absolutely gorgeous and I am so glad we had sterling photography do them, the colours and the quality are fantastic, and we are very grateful for the way they captured such a memorable day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

All we can say is WOW! Sterling's professionalism and manner was the most talked about thing at our wedding. Everyone was so impressed and wondered where we found him lol! He arrived early to set up and organised some beautiful shots. The weather threatened to make it a wet wedding, but Sterling got all the shots we wanted simply by being forward thinking. Caught a glimpse of some of the photos- stunning.
I planned this wedding from abroad, and he was always just an email away.
We would recommend him any day of the week!

JR is amazing! We had a blast shooting our engagement photos. He made us laugh the whole time. Our pictures came out better than I could have dreamed!!! His editing skills are outstanding. Better yet he made sure I got all of the shots I wanted on the motorcycle and by the planes. If you want a fun down to earth photographer then you came to the right place!! I can't wait for him to shoot the wedding!!

We had JR and Matt as our photographers on the day of our wedding and couldn't be more pleased. They were there early and began shooting right away. We received the pictures back this weekend and they were all so wonderful. The weeding party was a little uptight, so JR really worked with us to find different posses to make us look natural and feel more relaxed. I'm am trying to figure out which pictures I want prints of because there are just so many amazing pictures to choose from. As an added surprise, they even showed up with a drone on the day of the wedding and provided us with fantastic shots of the entire ceremony from above. My husband we certainly be using Sterling again for all of our family photo needs.

We were married in Orlando but live in the UK so all of our contact was via email. Sterling was very easy to deal with and was happy to receive images of particular shots we wanted taking. We received our photos in approx 4-5 weeks from out wedding date. Both myself, my husband and our families, love the shots from our wedding day. Sterling wasn't at all intrusive and took some beautiful photos during our ceremony and afterwards. He even stayed later than intended to capture everything possible for us on our special day. He also sent our photos in time for Christmas which allowed us to make some really beautiful and personal Christmas gifts. Thank you so much.

So much fun!! I absolutely hate taking photographs and Sterling made this experience enjoyable. All of my bridal party had an amazing time and we are so excited to see the final product. I also sent him example photo shots and he showed up with each one printed with a plan in mind for how to recreate them. Loved every second of working with him.

JR is was awesome! He captured every aspect of the wedding with such beautiful vision and detail that truly blew me away. He gets to know the style of every couple and tailors his shots to their personality and requests and goes above and beyond to make sure you have the most beautiful pictures. He is accommodating, relaxed, professional and his great sense of humor is a huge plus. JR knows almost every venue in the area and as a result he shoots efficiently, beautifully and maximizes the amount of time and photos you get. I cannot stress how important this is because a photographer that does not know these things tends to take up your valuable wedding day time looking for the right spot, switching lenses, adjusting angles, etc. He kept track of things like the weather and sunset time to make sure we had enough outside pictures (rain was expected) and was so smooth during the ceremony. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend him to anyone!

Amazing!! I had such a great expierence with them, CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE ALL THE PICTURES. Every bride should go through Sterling Photography for their wedding photos. Only thing I had to worry about was knowing the poses I wanted and he took care of it. My wedding was perfect to the 'T'. Just amazing! I will definetly recommend to my single gals.

Sterling was wonderful to work with. He has a great personality that made everyone comfortable. We did first look photos and had the majority of the bridal party done before the ceremony - which was great for being able to enjoy our time with everyone.

Our photographer was absolutely awesome! Since our wedding was a blend in culture (French and American) we wanted and hoped the pictures would be priceless, especially since the chances of getting these 2 families together again in one place was pretty small. This was one of our biggest concerns...you can't go back and retake pics of the day. JR was outstanding, listened to all we wanted, got some excellent shots and was never obtrusive. He is the most polite, professional and talented photographer I have ever worked with. Feel confident in his services, it is worth the price!

We just saw our photos online from our recent wedding. They are just BEAUTIFUL. We could not be happier with the pictures J.R. took. He arrived on time and instantly made us all feel relaxed and calm! He was everywhere taking pictures of everything, but never once did we feel like he was in the way or that you really knew he was there. In fact, after looking at our pictures, I'm amazed that he was able to capture some of the moments that he did because they are that good. What a fantastic day, everything went so smoothly. Our photographer was just brilliant, every shot he took was so natural with no over the top posing. He knew when the sun was too much for us and moved us about into areas more suitable. The background in all the photos were captured beautifully and they all look amazing. Our photographer Mr Sterling is a friendly and professional photographer who we highly recommend.

The pictures they took were better than we anticipated. They somehow could capture the right moments and poses to take snapshots. I am Asian, so I was worried about side shots (those are not very flattering to me), and they were so proficient that they didn't need any reminders. My worry was unfounded. The cameraman had a great spirit and a sense of humor that all our wedding guests appreciated. They were truly satisfactory. I would highly recommend them.

The pictures arrived after the wedding and included a CD with original shots. What a great service.

Sterling Photography did an amazing job the day of our wedding! From the moment we met Debra in the office we felt a connection. We flipped thru their photo albums and loved the work we saw. JR was assigned to us and we had a blast on our engagement shoot. Sterling Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding pictures. They were always easy to contact in the the days leading up to the wedding via phone or email. It was simple to make sure that details were arranged for our day. Email responses always came within a few hours.
On the day of the event, everything went as expected. The photographer worked well to coordinate all the required photos. The guests enjoyed the process.
The quality of the pictures were amazing. It was a nice blend of traditional and artistic. We are so pleased that we chose to go with Sterling Photography.

Sterling was amazing to work with! He did a fantastic job and was very funny which allowed everyone to show off their real smile. He even got my father-in-law to smile in pictures which is a big deal! I only wish I had researched photo ideas beforehand but that is my fault. Sterling asked me if I wanted anything in particular but again I didn't have time to research that. I received a link to my photos about 6 weeks after my wedding and will be receiving a USB to print photos at around 2 months after my wedding. He did a great job of capturing so many important moments. It would have been nice to receive the USB a littler earlier. I'm using one of the images for my "thank you" cards and all my guests won't receive them until about 3 months after my wedding because I'm waiting receive the USB then I need to order the cards and finally address/sign all of them. All in all, Sterling did a great job and I would recommend him to anyone.

We worked with J.R. for our wedding and engagement pictures, and we couldn't imagine a better photographer. He was funny and lightened the mood and made us very comfortable when taking pictures. I had pictures that I wanted to imitate from pinterest, and although it was probably extremely frustrating to have to copy someone else's pictures, J.R. really worked hard to do everything I wanted. His pictures were absolutely beautiful and he let me play around with some pictures I thought would look fun. Definitely recommend!

All I really have to say is great great great!!! I got the photos after the wedding and could not stop smiling while I was flipping through them not only because it reminded me of the wedding, but because all of the pictures looked wonderful and I am pretty OCD about such things so... I always feel like photographers are expensive, but it was definitely worth paying for a professional. The photographer we had was awesome because he got all of the shots he had to get for the formals and then was completely on top of it if I called him over to take other pictures that I specifically wanted. Also, there was a beautiful sunset over the lake where we got married that I would have completely missed if it weren't for him pointing it out and making sure we got some shots with it and for that I am extremely grateful! I would definitely recommend using them!

I was a bit unsatisfied with the photographers shots. We were not posed in different positions and i found that my pictures were mostly of the same shot (3-4 of the same pic). I also did not get the fully contracted time of photo taking. Did not get any shots of the guys getting ready, bridal bouquet or even of the rings! These should be important things to get captured. I found that it was very rushed and the photographer did not use different lens options. I would recommend a friend if the above was addressed. However, I must say that the admin staff were very helpfull and quick to respond my questions.

The owner of the company was the photographer at my wedding. He was at the wedding for five hours and took less than 500 pictures. I was expecting AT LEAST twice this many pictures. We weren't really sure what photo opportunities we should have told him about prior to the wedding, but we assumed since he was a professional, that he would know where to be at what time. He did a fantastic job at taking the posed pictures of the wedding party/family after the ceremony. Some pictures during the ceremony were not flattering, and he took quite a few of them (crying bride).

When I say that I was pretty unimpressed at the photos of the reception, I am being nice. Out of 75 guests at the wedding, I think he only took photos of 20 guests, excluding the wedding party. The guests at the wedding were very upset to view the pictures and to not see themselves enjoying their time. Many of the reception photos were of the bride and groom, and a lot of them were inappropriate with drinks and making terrible faces. I appreciate the candidness of the photos, but clearly many brides want to look pretty of their wedding, not like a dancing fool. He really neglected many of the guests, a lot of family, and really took unflattering pictures of the wedding party.

After the wedding, we were informed by the wedding planner, NOT the photographer, that it was going to take about four weeks for the photos to be posted online. After calling three times, they were finally put online after five weeks. Nearly two months later now I still haven't heard about the prints being sent to my home. I am very disappointed about the lack of professionalism I've had with this vendor.

I do not know how much I paid since it was a part of a package through my wedding planner, but I would not be surprised if I would ask for some money back since I do not think I got nearly enough options.

Devastated, would not recommend services. Sterling Photography was hired for our wedding though a third-party wedding planner. We met with the owner (JR) who was scheduled to photograph our wedding and were very pleased with his work, suggestions, etc. He asked me to make pinterest boards to show him my view on what types of photos I would like and get a sense of my style - ALL WONDERFUL. I spend countless hours finding the right images to show what I was looking for. We were not hiring a videographer so I'm fully relying on our wedding photos to capture the day. Everything was in plan until the day of the wedding. Without any notice, a different photographer showed up at our wedding (no notice to us or the wedding planner) who had not see our pinterest boards and was very demanding. We initially indicated to Sterling that we do not like posed photos and did not want to be bossed around on our day; however that is exactly what happened the day of our wedding. We have a total of 7 pictures of just the bride and groom. Seven - that's it. Many, many pictures of posed couples, dancing, etc. but very limited of the types that I wanted and had originally expressed interest it. I don't have 1 quality picture of us on our wedding day that I would like to enlarge for our home. Very disappointed. In addition, we were suppose to receive a flash drive with all of the edited images via mail 6-8 weeks after the wedding. Wedding was just over 12 weeks ago and we have still not received the pictures, only the proofs (with watermarks) through an online portal that can be purchased for an additional fee.
