Wedding ceremony and reception
Everyone was nice plenty of parking amber was excellent. Hassle free for me had ceremony in the hall everything was the way I wanted it. -

Amazing and wonderful
The hall was amazing! I booked this location for my wedding June 24th, 2022…. The staff was very nice the day of the wedding and Mayra was so helpful! It was very clean and Mayra worked with me to make sure the hall was paid! I loved the decorations they offered and how they took care of everything … even the few last minute changes. The day of the wedding Mayra was there to ensure everything looked the exact way I wanted and even checked on me to make sure I was ok. Bless her heart! She is wonderful! The hall was also decently priced for everything We we’re looking for! 10/10 recommendation for this hall! -

Perfect night
I am so grateful for this hall I had my wedding on sat August 17 at location #3 on bingle and it was the best day ever I had a little bump and had to start late but the staff at sterling was very helpful all night great bartender and security thank you for everything -

Sterling Banquet
Everything that I asked for I was given. It was a smooth, stress free process. I had my own catering company, but used there servers and bartenders. The facility was PERFECT for my needs and met my expectations to the t. They have great packages for great pricing. Everything for my day was beautiful, couldn't have asked for more!! High ceilings, uplighting on the wall, all decor included, non alcoholic drinks included. Highly recommend -

Sterling is a very nice affordable venue! I had my wedding there and we were very pleased with the outcome. Everything was set up exactly how we discussed and the venue was very clean as well. There was a slight hiccup with the staff serving the food but that was promptly resolved. -

sterling banquet hall , all i can say is may God bless you. Within our budget you gave us a very lovely and cozy wedding on suite A on sam houston pk way.Apart from the little problem with the photographer which you took care of adequately. You did more than we expected. Tell all your servers and bar people that we are absolutely grateful. They really worked so hard. Me and my wife say .GOD BLESS AND CONTINUE TO PROSPER STERLING.

The venue was decorated beautifully! It was everything I wanted and more! All of our guests had fun. The layout was perfect for the entertainment. All of the staff did such a great job at making our day special and worry free. -

I have to tell you these people are outstanding I have never ever felt so wonderful about doing business with a company as that is their flexibility with my budget was unbelievable they made everything happen for me and my price range from the managers to all of the staff to the owner they were wonderful they made me feel so at home the place is so very spotless I mean it is very clean and organized if I could go anywhere else again I would certainly go back to this business again I can't say how much I enjoyed having our wedding with them they were just absolutely wonderful I think them from the bottom of my heart they made our wedding day so very special -

Great service. I had no problems at all. YES....No issues at all. The staff was very accommodating to our needs and meet them. The pricing and payment plan worked in our budget. The wait staff and bartender was great. Everyone loved it and had a great time!! -

We rented the venue (Beltway 8 & Clay Rd) for our wedding ceremony and reception and we loved absolutely everything about this place! The service, the chapel, the reception decoration and the catering and cake referral by them was amazing! When we arrived on the day of our wedding everything was just as I had requested! I loved everything and our wedding turned out to be so much better than we had imagined! Thank you Mr. Sayed and Sam for such outstanding service! -

OMG! We are speechless and overwhelmed about this place. My husband and I are so AMAZED with the service that was provided to us at Sterling Banquet Hall. If we could do it all over again, WE would. The Chapel and the Reception Hall decorations were more than we imagined it would be! The catering service, all I can say is that we still have people talking about the food and the excellent customer service that was provided. This event will be remembered by many of our family and friends; and forever in OUR hearts. THANK YOU Sterling Banquet Hall (especially Sam & Syed) - you were the best and making this a MEMORABLY day!!!

We got married and had our reception at the Sam Houston Pkwy location...in between Clay and Tanner. We were so pleased with the way the decorations turned out! The place was beautiful. Every request was met. We had a blast, we used their carter and would use them again hands down. They even catered our rehearsal dinner! We were extremely pleased with the services Sterling Banquet Hall provided. -

Got married at this venue and could have not picked a better place for my event! Absolutely satisfied with the staff working there. Very clean and organized venue. We celebrate our grandparents 50th anniversary. We had a blast and everything that was promised from the set –up to the food tasting was what was expected. The Staff was very reponsive to our needs and changes that needed to be made at the last minute. Ali and Sam are very charming and had a delight meeting them both! So this is not a good bye, but we will see you next year in July for my daughters 15th birthday.

I did one of my wedding events at Sterling Banquet Hall and it was amazing! Everything worked out exactly the way I wanted. The venue was perfect, we had no issues with space or location. The staff was incredibly accommodating to our needs. It's under new management and seems to be operating at a much higher level. There was extra parking and conveniently located right off the feeder. No one had trouble getting to the hall. All in all it was a really good experience and I will definitely look into more events here in the future. -

I had our wedding reception at this venue over the weekend. I am very pleased with the service they provided. If you are interested in this venue, ask for Sam! He's great at getting things done for you. During the reception we did have a minor misunderstanding with the person who was left in charged. We were a server short but after he confirmed with Sam, they had another person come in in less than 20 minutes. Besides that everything went smoothly! -

GORGEOUS. Beautiful venue and reasonably priced. If you're looking for an elegant venue, this is it! Dance floor was big, chandeliers were gorgeous, wall details were pretty. I chose the blue up-lighting, it looked like we were under water, so pretty! They have package pricing and such. We opted to use our own caterer (we paid a small fee for the catering buyout [very reasonably priced] and bring our own alcohol. We used their bartender, services, security, staff. They provide tea, soda, water, centerpieces, chair/table covers. Syed is awesome! -

Sterling Banquet Hall is an inexpensive location that is still elegant and memorable. It also nice that they provide everything you need to have a great event. The only drawback is they charge a 3% service charge if you use your credit card for payment. -

Million Dollar Look
All I can say is that for what we paid……we looked like we paid more. The food was decent from their preferred vendor but could’ve been better. Overall everyone said the place looked stunning. There was a mix up with our Photo Booth vendor that we were unaware of but it turned out ok. If you take anything away from this review, it should be that when things are meant to be they’ll work out & sometimes even better. I wouldn’t change a thing about the big day. -

Great Venue
I must say I had a great experience with the venue. The décor turned out beautiful and exactly what we asked for. They also worked with us with last minute request and kept in contact with me regarding any mandate the state implemented during this Pandemic. The service staff (bartender, security, waiters/bussers) did an amazing job of making sure the event flowed, tables stayed clean, drinks refilled, and guest were happy. The only thing I will say is there is not any natural lighting in the venue so make sure the lights are fully turned on while your photographer is working but once the party gets going the venue provides a great party vibe that we enjoyed!-

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Sterling Banquet Hall at their W. Sam Houston Parkway location. Sterling's packaged prices really can't be beat. We had about 60 guests in attendance out of an expected 80 and we had nothing but positive feedback from them. The food (appetizers and dinner) which was bundled in to the package was delicious and hot. The servers/wait staff were professional and very attentive. We brought in a roasted pig from another vendor and I was so worried they wouldn't be able to serve it correctly, but all that worry was all for naught. We also chose to serve beer and wine and added their bartending services, as well as their security services. The only things our friends and family had to say was they wished they'd used actual wine glasses versus the small plastic versions.
We were able to come in about 2 weeks before the big day and they let us play around with the tables to see how our centerpieces, which we were bringing in/building the day of, would look like. They provided all the glassware and vases.
The only negative thing we encountered was that during set up, there was another group using the chapel in the back and they kept going through the reception area and also that the waitstaff were not informed as to when the event was ending since they were asking my mother. We also added 3 tall boys to be placed next to the bar area. The pricing changed each time I asked, but in the end ended up paying an extra $30 for it. Also, the lighting was this pinkish/purple instead of the gold I'd requested. But that's just some small things for the most part. Everything looked great and no one was the wiser.
Overall, we had a good experience and it was a great value. So if you're budget conscious and wanting to have the tradition wedding reception experience, I would recommend Sterling. -

My ceremony & reception was located at Sterling Banquet Hall #1 Hall A on 7/12/15. The decor was beautiful, the vendor they recommended for our cake was amazing. I used them for catering, the food was great. Everything ran smoothly, the staff was very professional. I would definitely recommend Sterling banquet hall to any couple looking for a beautiful place with lots of space, unbeatable all inclusive pricing. -

Barbara and her team were AMAZING! Helping us pull off a wedding in 11 weeks and everything coming together without a hitch. The venue was romantic and peaceful. It really allowed us to just enjoy our day. -

My wedding was held at Sterling Banquet Hall Location #3 at 5701 Bingle Rd, Houston, TX 77090 on 11/06/2015. They have several locations, but this one was closest to our ceremony site. I did an exhausting search of many locations in North Houston and the primary reason we chose Sterling was the price. Prices range from $3250-$4500 for the venue itself. This price includes set up, break down & decorating of the tables and chairs, use of the kitchen and bar along with soda, tea, coffee, lemonade, water as well as the china, silverware and chaffers and two waitstaff. Further since my wedding was held on a Friday, we received an additional discount of $950. We also used their suggested caterer, which was added to the bill for an additional $2500, uplighting and their wireless system and projector. We signed our contract in February and they allowed us to make payments up to 2 weeks before the event. The staff also let us come in the night before to set up our floral centerpieces (they provide silk flowers but I wanted real ones). Everyone there was very helpful. I worked with Ms. Sylvia and she did a great job of decorating. Everyone complemented us on the layout. We had over 200 in attendance and we had the use of the venue up until 2AM. The place is ideal if you want a decent event on a budget. Also there was ample parking. They also have other services such as photography, photo booth rental, cake services and have a chapel on the 2nd floor.
The only con would be there are some things within the site on Bingle that could be updated, but I think they are in the process of doing this. -

This is a great and affordable all in one kind of venue. Because they are so popular it is hard to get a response back right away but usually the corporate office will step in and make sure your questions are answered. -

Having my wedding ceremony and reception here was a great choice! The owner and his staff were very helpful and flexible.
Cons: Certain things like cleaning restrooms and some of the linens may be something you have to stay on them about. But, over all the Sterling Banquet Hall Bingle Location was great! Good Luck. ..God Bless! -

I enjoyed using the banquet hall to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday party. The room was spacious and decorated nicely. The servers were professional and courteous. A problem that occurred during the event was operating the music/sound system. I believe it would have been easier for me if maybe a tutorial was offered free of charge prior to November 15th. Finally, during the event there were customers that continued to show up looking for management. We had to inform them that a private event was in process and to contact management via phone or come another day. I thought that was somewhat nerve wrecking, but overall the night was a success. In the future I would use your facility again and would recommend others to use it as well.

The venue is beautiful! The service they provided the day of the wedding was great and above what I expected. I had a couple of problems with the owner, he changed the contract 2 months before our wedding which lead us to paying more money, which was no problem for us because he said he would get the money back after the wedding. We went to pick up the deposit the Thursday after the wedding and we had so much trouble getting our deposit back. I had to call my attorney and file a police report before they would return my deposit. That was the only problem I had over the 6/7 months of me working with management. Other than that everything was great! I enjoyed my wedding and the bartenders were awesome!! -

I wanted to give higher ratings but I honestly couldn't Overall the banquet hall is beautiful on its own. The chandeliers make up a good percentage of the decor. Very classy building. However on the day off, we had to wait and cut the cake because "according to the contract" they don't provide enough plates to serve cake on, so you may have to bring our own. The decorator was kind enough to wash the plates as people were done so they could be ready in time to serve the cake, it was very irritating. Also girls in my bridal party said they had money taken from them while the event was taking place. They said they saw some of the wait staff who should've been working the event, near the room where our stuff was. There should be locks on the door. -

I didn't have any problems with the venue but then again I don't think I was very stressed about small things. The glass walls inside and certain areas of the building could use a little upkeep but nothing that stopped me from chooseing the hall. My payment plan was easy to keep up with. The only downfall was not being able to get into the venue until 3 hours before the event which made it impossible for my husband or I to drop off things the day of so we had to depend on family members to do the day of things. One in particular missed the wedding which was located somewhere else due to this silly policy. Otherwise I have very few complaints. -

Major pro: The venue is a great price if you are on a budget.
Cons: the staff can be rude at times when you call in, you have to pay extra if you want to set up early the day of even though the space is not in use, pretty much everything is extra, they misspelled my name on the sign outside of the venue even after it was corrected ahead of time, there was balloons left over from the previous event during my wedding reception (I had to ask a staff member to remove them) -

The venue itself was what I expected and allowed me to turn it into the picture perfect day I was highly anticipating. The location I was at (they have a few) was very nice but some things were questionable and overlooked unless brought to their attention or you had to speak with management to make things possible and happen. First, the price looks pretty reasonable but once you add in all the extras you are back to the pricing of a better venue with a nicer location. Second, cleanliness and upkeep of the venue is not up to par. The chair covers all had runs, holes and/or looked dirty. I had to repeatedly ask for them to be changed out, I am pretty sure they all did not get changed out because they don't have enough without markings and holes to do so. The plumbing backed up and the bathrooms were disgusting and unkept (we had less that 200 guests but they say they can accomidate 300). The walls need paint, the mirrors need replacing etc. Ali, who is the operator of the Hammerly location acted like he cared and wanted to "make sure our event was the best it could be" but they don't stick around to make sure that happens!! On the day of he said plates and forks for the cake aren't normally included but that they would this time. He went on to say he called me on the phone to let me know this ahead of time, which was was a bold face lie considering you can barely get Ali on the phone and he never once called me. When it was time to serve the cake, Ali had not relayed this message to the head waiter (who is the bartender and a rude man at that) and the bartender argued with my event coordinator and I until she finally walked down to the dollar store and bought plates and forks for the cake. Further delaying our evening and wasting our guest's time. Ali caused a headache and argument that could have been avoided. When I asked the next day about this, Ali stated that " it was raining and he couldn't get back to the venue to let him know that was okay" Again, not a well-oiled machine!!!! If you want a good waitstaff, go elsewhere!! They stood around and did absolutely nothing except bus the tables (which is a basic, basic part of the service). No water refills, no help with the cake, or the champagne toast! Again, I say do not use Sterling Banquet Hall. -

The Bingle location needs help. They basically needs to replace Sylvia. She tells certain guests there are charges for certain items then tell others it's free. She walks off while trying to talk to her. The linens were dirty and had holes and too wrinkle. Instead of replacing she said they are all like that and the stains won't come out & tried to use the centerpiece to cover stains. When we first booked them they had several cases so we chose what we were going to use and weeks before the wedding went back up there to get the size & she said they had been stolen then tried to lie when I got the owner in front of her. She also said they had no serving utensils then changed the story in front of the boss. It's was so hot and we told them way ahead of time & just got ignored. The security officer was rude and stayed upstairs w/ wedding party while taking pictures instead of monitoring downstairs area. He also called one of the kids dumb because she was trying to go up the stairs to find her dad while taking pictures & she was in the wedding. The bartender stole some liquor afterwards and tried to take the mixes. Staff just stood around like they had nothing to do and when asked can get a pitcher to take juice to kids table to pour for them they said no. They also took the top tier of cake and didnt tell anyone so we had to go back the next day and that's when we seen it. They need some serious dusting and cleaning especially the couches and the floors which had cake on it from another party. Even the hand prints on the glass wall which they stated they can't clean. Oh & they even took our serving utensils that we purchased. Even our cake lady had complaints about the location & said our event was the best she had ever seen there. -

Price is pretty good for what they offer. However the gratuity was outrageous. The communication was horrible and the only guy with manners was Sam. The other guy was extremely rude. Absolutely the worst customer service for event planning- I would never work with them again. The locations are beautiful and they offer affordable options. They also offer a false sense of "full service"- there are several different people who you speak to and their involvement is limited to collecting payments, color choices, price explanation, and basic table setup- they are not there during the event to help at all!! The "event coordinator" is pretty much just sitting in the office- I don't recall seeing him check in or ask everything was ok until we had some issues.
They were very unprepared for bad weather and it's disappointing that they didn't have a plan B or backup generator for this circumstance.
In my contact I paid to have 3 waiters, 1 bar tender, and 1 security officer- I ended up missing a waiter and security officer. They were kind enough to argue that I told them I didn't need them- if that was the case I wouldn't have paid to have them-
Regardless, I was pleased with the wait staff; they were professional and worked extremely well despite having no power. The bar tender for the night was really friendly and everyone enjoyed speaking with him. The catering vendor that Sterling works with was amazing and truly offers good food at an affordable price. They were prompt in delivering our order and everyone complimented the food.
Overall terrible customer service relations, poor communication amongst team members, poor business ethics, beautiful locations , great decor, and amazing food. -

Think twice before booking your event here. The week before the event the actual owner called and told us they did not have the napkins we had asked for and we needed to find them ourselves. He did however say he would cover the expense up to a certain price, however called us back later and stated he found the napkins for us.
Then the owner wanted us to go and place our own table clothes because we rented some from another vendor, When we told him that we had spoken to his sales person and she had stated they would place the clothes he said he was going to fire her for making that commitment, which was really nothing we needed to hear.
On Sunday when we showed up they were just setting up the hall, when they didn't have an event the day before so they could have set-up since the day before.
While we tried to give the associate on duty instruction for the evening, but she would not taking any kind of instructions. Her explanation was that we needed to wait and speak to the Captain for the night but he was not going to be there until 4:00 PM.
Once we arrived for the reception after our wedding our caterers were having issues trying to get the wait staff to assist in serving. They didn't even have enough salad plates for our 220 guests, after the venue had assured us they had the china for 250 guests. Our caterers had to actually serve some of our salads in bowls.
Then we we tried to tell the Captain how we wanted our dinner and champagne served all he kept telling us, was that they cold not do that, The Venue didn't even have trays to server with. I finally got fed up with the Captain and told him he was worthless so he said we could take it or leave it. I soon found out where he got his attitude from because he called the owner and then passed the phone to me. The owner once I explained what was going on, he made the same statement we paid for 4 servers and that what we got so we had to make it happen. The owner pretty much told me the sa -
