DJ George was the best!

DJ George made our wedding the best party! From our first conversation, we truly felt he understood the type of music and energy we wanted for our wedding. We were able to make a Spotify playlist for him to get our favorite songs and he really took it from there. He had our guests on the dance floor the entire night! We are very much the type of bride and groom who wanted to be dancing and wanted our wedding to be a real party. He got that and made for the best dance party of our life! If you are looking for your guests to tell you this is the best time they've had in years, then you need to hire DJ George! We cannot recommend him enough!

Highly Recommend Stereophonic DJ's!

We highly recommend Stereophonic DJ's for your wedding!

Upon submitting an inquiry, we heard back from Wiley within the hour and the communication throughout the booking process couldn't have been easier. Wiley walked us through the different options and within a week of submitting the inquiry, we were booked!

Now for the highlight of the show, DJ George. DJ George put on an incredible performance for us! We gave George a short list of songs that we wanted to hear throughout the night and told him to mix in similar music and genres. We wouldn't have changed a single song that was played! The music was loud and every song was perfectly transitioned into the next song. The dance floor was rocking the whole night and I can't tell you how many compliments we received throughout the evening about how awesome the playlist was.

Thanks again to DJ George and the Stereophonic DJ's team for an incredible evening!

Jim Gable is AMAZING - 5 Stars all around!!

Jim did an amazing job providing music for our wedding, and we couldn't be more pleased. His performance of acoustic guitar for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour was perfect. His song choice for the reception couldn't have been more spot on. His pivot to impromptu dance music capped off the night. He was also very responsive during the planning phases and listens really well. We couldn't have been more pleased and are extremely happy with our decision to use Jim and highly recommend him!!!

Phenomenal!!

We are from the Chicagoland area and were given a list of vendors for the Sanibel area from The Sundial Resort. After combing through websites and reviews, we decided on Stereophonic DJs, specifically Jim Gable. I saw on Jim's promo on the website, that he not only is a DJ, but also plays acoustic guitar and steel drums. It was everything I dreamed of for our beach wedding! After talking on the phone with Clint, (who was very friendly, informative and professional) and explaining our vision, we were able to book Jim for our special day. Jim played acoustic guitar for our ceremony and even included my request of Tesla's "Love Song". It was so beautiful. He played acoustic guitar and steel drums for the cocktail reception for a very tropical feel. For the reception, he was so great at reading the dance floor and was able to keep the dance floor full the entire night! We got so many compliments on how well everything flowed and there was no "cheesy" DJ show.....just very classy and fun the entire time. We highly recommend Jim Gable for your beach wedding!!! Thank you so much!!!

Very Talented Wedding DJ

Jim Gable was awesome as my wedding DJ. He was very early, professional, responsive, and talented. My husband surprised me and ask him to play the guitar and steel drums and he did not disappoint! It was amazing! He played the music exactly as I asked for our special moments, and knew what to play throughout the night to keep the party going. I would recommend to anyone!

Excellent experience

My experience with the Stereophonic Djs was excellent. From the very beginning communication was always easy and fast. They were very flexible with my suggestions and did absolutely everything to accommodate my wishes. We had DJ George perform at our wedding ceremony + cocktail and reception. He was incredible! My guests and I didn't stop dancing all night. I'm Brazilian and it was important to me to listen to some of my country's top hits. He did a great job transitioning from American to Brazilian all night making everybody happy. I would certainly hire again and recommend Dj George and the Stereophonic Djs for they outstanding job.

Jim Gable is awesome! He played Guitar at our ceremony, played Steel Drums and Guitar at our Cocktail Hour and then DJ'ed our dance! Talk about One-Stop-Shopping! :-) Seriously, many of our guests commented on how awesome he was. We had Zero complaints dealing with the company and Jim was super responsive to questions and emails.

Our wedding at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club was DJ'd/MC'd perfectly by DJ George. We never knew how important a great DJ could be for our wedding, but luckily we made the right choice! DJ George not only picked the perfect songs for all age groups, he knew how to perfectly transition from one song to the next. We can honestly say that DJ George couldn't have done a single thing better, he was perfect! Hire this guy for your next event, you absolutely will love every minute of it.

When we were interviewing the different DJ's in the area, we felt so confident speaking with Clint. He was professional, down to earth, and the conversation seemed very fluid. He made us feel confident in his entire team and everything about Stereophonic DJs is exactly the type of atmosphere we wanted for our wedding. Clint was also able to give us feedback on each of the DJ's and their differences, which made us even more confident when we chose Peter. In the days leading up, Peter checked and double checked with us on song choices, and coordination with him and our other vendors seemed seamless.
On our wedding day (10/21/17 at Tween Waters), Peter was positive and upbeat, stayed very aware of our "do not play list" (even when our one friend begged and pleaded for one of them to be played), and really rolled with the punches. We had a scheduling mishap caused by Food & Beverage, and Peter rolled with it without a hitch. Otherwise, the music was great and everyone had a great time dancing the night away.
Peter's professionalism and optimistic attitude was a perfect addition to our wedding team. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to all engaged couples. The price point was perfect, the prep was thorough, and the entertainment was excellent.

Our DJ George did an amazing job for our wedding at the Ritz Carlton Naples Beach and really brought the party to life. We had a mix of Latin and American guests and he played music that everybody loved. The dance floor wasn’t empty for 4 hours! Would highly recommend without a doubt!!

Peter was FANTASTIC, we could not have asked for a better DJ to help us celebrate. Our dance floor was full the entire night and Peter kept the party going. George was amazing!! Our guest: had a great time & I don’t think the dance floor was ever empty. It was great to work with someone that was flexible when there were last minute changes (rain on a beach wedding-not good)!! You will not be disappointed with George or Sterophonic DJ’s!!!

We had a great experience with Stereophonic Djs and specifically loved working with Jim Gables. He played guitar at our ceremony, steel drum during our cocktail hour and then Djed during the wedding reception. It was a great combination to have to make our day/night special and unique. He also was so great about playing a bunch of the songs that we had on our list, he had all of our guest up and dancing the whole night! We had a great time!

Peter knocked it out of the park at our wedding. He played all songs we loved and was great at reading the crowd! He kept the party going start to finish, our wedding started and ended with a full dance floor. Our guests are still raving about the music (including our parents!) I cannot say enough about how pleased we were and would recommend him to any and everyone!

Jim was absolutely amazing for our wedding at the Hilton Resort in Marco Island! The cocktail hour with both guitar and steel drum were perfect for our beach setting and the intro for our bridal party was flawless! Jim was able to incorporate the various music requests into a terrific night of dancing. All of my guests raved about the music and how well the night flowed with the perfect DJ. Plus, the ease of scheduling with Stereophonic DJs was simple and all the coordination post booking was easy - you feel like you're in good hands preparing for the big day! If you are looking for a DJ that is multi-talented, easy to work with, and exceptional service, we highly recommend this team!

Jim was honestly the best DJ choice we could have made. He is extremely professional, listens to each and every request you have, and what I loved is that he made suggestions that I wouldn't have thought of that made the whole night go way smoother than I could have hoped for. He is truly a pro. I remember not having to think about the music one single time because I just had this overall feeling of trust that he was taking care of everything. The guests were dancing nonstop when it was time to dance and everyone just had a blast. I would recommend him to ANYONE and EVERYONE!!! Thanks Jim!

Jim Gable was my wedding DJ back in January. Throughout the course of planning our wedding, Jim would check in to offer help filling out the MC forms and was genuinely interested in the type of music we wanted to play. During the wedding, he followed my MC order of events as I wished. When our crazy drunk uncle asked for a chicken dance song request, he ran it by my husband and I to make sure that was to our liking. He was respectful, professional, and an awesome DJ. Nothing cheesy or tacky. If I host another party, Jim would be the first person I would call. Thank you for an unforgettable night!!

Jim Gable played classical guitar during our wedding ceremony, steel drums during the cocktail hour and DJ/MC'd our reception in May of 2017 in Boca Grande, FL. He did a wonderful job. We were picky about the music we wanted him to play during the reception and he did a phenomenal job sticking to it and not taking song requests or giving the mic to anyone. He is a talented musician and truly a value. He does it all! He was so professional and got the pronunciation of everyone's names correct, which made us even more happy! Would recommend to anyone! Peter was the absolute best! Before our wedding he was professional and prepared! He made sure to touch base with me a few times to make sure we had at timeline of how I wanted everything to play out, what kind of music I wanted to be played & what I def. didn't want to be played! He asked how to say everyones names, so they weren't mispronounced (because we all know thats annoying!) and I'm a dancer so my main goal was to have everyone on the dance floor for the whole night, and Peter did that all night long!! It was awesome! Every age group was dancing all night and there wasn't a time when it slowed down and people cleared the floor! I'd say that he did his job perfectly!! (: Thanks Peter!!

DJ George was the MC/DJ at our wedding at Casa Ybel in Sanibel (Oct 2016). He was outstanding! Everyone was dancing the entire time! DJ George did an amazing job from start to finish - he handled the music during the ceremony all the way till the last song. We asked him to combine two songs for our first dance and he did seamlessly - from a slow song into the faster reggae version - the transition was perfect! He paid attention to the crowd and his music kept everyone dancing all night. DJ George helped make our wedding day an amazing experience for us and all our guests! Thank you DJ George!

DJ George Mendez did an absolutely wonderful job at our wedding at the Ritz Carlton Golf Resort, Naples this October. He hit all the right notes and it was the perfect vibe for our younger and older guests alike. He was extremely responsive to my emails and questions before the event, and went above and beyond by coming early to set up for two separate locations, dressing up for the black tie occasion, and staying later than scheduled due to a rain delay. He truly exceeded all expectations and the night would not have been the same without him!

We used Peter to DJ our after party for 3 hours and he was fantastic! He kept the update energy from
The reception and even upped it a little! He had all of our friends dancing until 1 am and having the best time! He played a fantastic mix of modern hip hop and some oldies to please everyone! He even kept his promise to end the night on my favorite song and it made the whole night complete! DJ Peter was awesome he had fun high energy and we would recommend him to anyone looking to have a great time!

A sincere thank you to DJ George Mendez for a stellar job performance the night of. He had great command of the night as the MC and DJ. He also at the last minute accommodated our request to show our engagement video to our guests. Everything went super smooth! George Mendez was our DJ for our New Years Eve wedding in Siesta Key, FL. As the groom, this was one of the few things I was in charge of...so needless to say, I put a lot of pressure on myself to do the due diligence to find the highest reviewed local DJ at a great value. I am very pleased to say that I found that with George and The Stereophonic DJs. Living in Jacksonville, FL and with our venue 4 1/2 hours away, I had to rely on word of mouth and online reviews to make the most informed decision I could. I found them through weddingwire.com. George was professional throughout the entire process. He set up an initial skype / face-to-face interview so we could get to know him and his style and so he could learn more about us and what we have envisioned for our special day. He provided us with a detailed worksheet that outlined the entire process and what he needed to help ensure our day was truly special. (For Example: Songs that he had to play and even songs to avoid if requested). He arrived to the venue hours before to ensure setup was flawless. He brought an incredible sound system, lighting and wireless microphones for our officiant. He even included another set of Bluetooth speakers for a separate part of the courtyard for our cocktail hour. He was timely, professional and must importantly could effortlessly read the crowd and keep the fun going. We could also text / call him at any time and hear back from him within 30 minutes. A+ ... HIGHLY recommend not only this company, but George specifically.

I cannot say enough good things about Stereophonic DJs. Jim was our DJ and he played guitar for the ceremony and DJ'd the reception. I did a lot of research on all of our vendors and I can honestly say they had the best prices and the best service for wedding DJs from North Fort Myers to Naples. Regarding service, I got responses to my questions within a day, my checks were cashed within the week, and Jim even learned a couple songs for my ceremony. I seriously could not have asked for more. Thank you Stereophonic DJs and especially Jim for making our day so memorable.

DJ George was professional, on-time, and FUN! My family is Brazilian and I wanted to incorporate some of that into our wedding and he did it perfectly. He seamlessly shifted from Brazilian songs to American songs in a way that had everyone dancing to both types of music. I couldn't be happier with his work!

Hiring Jorge Mendez of Sterophonic DJ/s, was a great decision! He did a wonderful job selecting the music to set the mood with the right mix of sounds to keep our guests dancing. Jorge worked with us to allow us to select personal choices of songs. He obviously takes a lot of pride in his profession. DJ Kelly James was fantastic! From start to finish, this vendor was incredible. Very thorough and professional in helping us create playlists to setting up equipment and lights. DJ Kelly was so great! We had some issues with transportation and he stayed longer to play music and entertain our guests. I highly recommend them for any of your future event needs!

George from Stereophonic DJs was our DJ for our wedding a week ago. He did an excellent job and was easy to work with. Everyone had a blast and he made sure to do any requests I wanted and he made it a really fun dance environment for our guests! I highly recommend him for your wedding or any event where you want your guests having a great time.

We used Jim from Sterophonic for guitar during our ceremony/cocktail hour then DJ for the reception. He did an AMAZING job in all aspects. He was incredibly professional and responsive to all our requests. He was also proactive in that he spoke to use a few times before the event and had suggestions where we were unsure of what would work best.

Jim Gable and Stereo Armada did an absolutely incredible job DJing my wedding at LaPlaya in Naples. They played all the songs I had requested beforehand and listened to all my do not play's. Also, the Stereo Armada makes you feel as if you have the perfect combination of Band and DJ since they play instruments during the entire night. I was so happy with my music and nobody wanted to leave the dance floor!

We had DJ Jim Gable and we would highly recommend him and Stereophonics DJs. The pricing was reasonable and Jim also played the steel drums and guitar during our cocktail hour which everyone really enjoyed. He was very professional and followed our style of music very well. He let us make requests but we only did so for a few songs we forgot to put on our list. We have never hired a DJ before and we live out of state and were skeptical at first because it seems DJs can be hit or miss. Jim was a definite hit and we were so happy with his service and all coordination leading up to our big day.

We had the absolute pleasure of hiring Stereophonic DJs for our wedding. As recommended by our wedding planner, we used DJ Kelly for our wedding ceremony in church, and DJ Gable for cocktail hour and reception at South Seas Island Resort. Both DJs were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. DJ Gable was an excellent DJ and did everything and then some! He arrived early, started playing music earlier than he was contracted to, and even set up an extra speaker on the deck for cocktail hour. He was definitely all-in for the success of our wedding. DJ Gable was accommodating, took requests (per my approval), and he had our guests dancing the night away (even the ones who never dance!!) Thank you Stereophonic DJs for providing us with an unforgettable experience on our wedding day!!

DJ George was the perfect choice for our wedding reception. He has a gift for feeling the mood of the crowd, playing the right kind of music to keep people engaged, and accommodating all requests, no matter how crazy. Jim Gable did a phenomenal job at my wedding on Sanibel. He played guitar for the ceremony, steel drums for the cocktail hour and was the DJ at the reception. He was so helpful in the planning process and listened to everything I asked for. He knew exactly what to play when to play and kept me on the dance floor all night! Where to start! Kelly was everything I wanted in a Dj & more!!! My biggest want was to get our crowd dancing since we didn't have a crowd that were big dancers & that included myself. Well, kelly exceeded that expectation. He has every single person in the dance floor at one point. I was shocked! By the end of the night, my hair was wet from dancing & singing all night- & I don't dance. He responded to all my emails & was very professional. He didn't make the attention on him, as some djs do, he focused on what would get the crowd going & how to make everyone have a great time. I highly recommend him to everyone! He is amazing!

Kelly was exactly what we had hoped for in a DJ. Not cheesy, very professional, and knew exactly how to read the crowd. We had given him specific songs for dinner, for dancing, and for our after party, and he followed our requests and made our wedding an absolute blast!

Jim Gable did a superb job in providing the music for our daughter's wedding in Sanibel. The guitar music on the beach was beautiful, and we all loved the tunes played at the reception! Even people who normally don't enjoy dancing couldn't resist getting up to dance! What a fun time we all had, and Jim Gable played (no pun intended) a huge part in the success of the event. From all of us, thank you!

DJ Kelly was great to work with. We filled out an information sheet about our wedding and what we wanted in terms of ceremony music, cocktail hour music, reception music, etc. He called a few days before our wedding to iron out the details and to make sure he understood all of our requests. He arrived at the resort a little early to setup, and everything went great! The music for our ceremony was timed perfectly, the cocktail hour music was great for conversations (e.g., not too loud, just the right type of background music), and we had people on the dance floor all night long! I would highly recommend working with DJ Kelly.

DJ George was very helpful in planning our wedding day. He was able to get all of the songs we wanted for the ceremony, dinner, and reception and seemed very happy to do so for us. Everything went smoothly during the entire day, and he was very friendly and professional. Clint was also very helpful and friendly in setting up our contract. Our venue required that we provide additional lighting, and Clint sent some extra lights with George to help us out. Stereophonic DJ's was overall very easy to work with, they know their stuff, and I would expect that anyone's experience would match ours, which exceeded our expectations. DJ George Mendez was absolutely amazing. Our wedding guests wanted to dance and George made that happen!! Everything he played was spot on. DJ Jim Gable did an incredible job at our wedding. We were debating whether to get a band or DJ, and when we heard DJ Gable also could play guitar and steel drums.. we knew we found the perfect match! DJGeorge arranged and performed our wedding ceremony and reception. His professionalism and organizational skills kept us calm through the preparation of the wedding and through the day of the wedding! Even with our drastic delay on our start time, walking down the isle (horrible hair and makeup artist experience!), DJGeorge kept the party rocking! He was able to keep our guests calm and entertained throughout the ordeal. Our guest really enjoyed the production he put on and the wide range of music he provided....and if there were special requests, he made them happen! We highly recommend DJGeorge to DJ your event! We had DJ Gable (Jim) both DJ/MC our wedding reception and play guitar accompaniment for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Jim is super chill and easy to work with. If you're looking for one person that can basically do it all, Jim is your guy. We were really nervous about finding a DJ that suited our style and wasn't cheesy. We found exactly what we wanted in Jim. The music at our ceremony was beautiful and he even learned a new song just for us. He was organized, on time and prepared to make our wedding an unforgettable night! I do not have words to describe how incredible Anthony made our big day!!!! I was so nervous because I barely had a chance to give Anthony any "direction" you know how us crazy brides can get where we think we have to pick the playlist for every song. HOWEVER, Anthony knew EXACTLY how to get the crowd going and keep the party alive!!! He was so professional! He totally put me at ease. I was worried about using a DJ for my wedding because i have been to weddings where they can be a bit cheesy this was so far from the case!!! I honestly do not have words to describe how absolutely incredible he made our big day!!!! I hope you pick Anthony to do your wedding because you WILL NOT be disapointed!!!!

And the biggest advice I can give you as a bride is trust them when they say you dont have to pick every song, let anthony read the crowd bc this is truly what he is amazing at!!!

If you don't go with him you are going to be disapointed!!! I will use Anthony again for partys and anything else that might require a DJ!!!! He truly made my wedding amazing! The guests did not want to leave and he had the whole party dancing for the whole time! Even our 90 year old grandmother!!!

Stereophonics DJs, more specifically DJ Jim Gable, was recently hired to work our Decemeber 8th wedding at South Seas in Captiva, FL. DJ Gable was at the site setting up at three separate locations, testing equipment hours before the reception. He was courteous, friendly, and timely when responding to emails, and on the day of our wedding was a true professional. In addition to working as the DJ, DJ Gable also played guitar during the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, where he exceeded our expectations.

Our positive experience with DJ Gable started before the wedding; after our first phone meeting with Stereophonics DJs we knew we were great hands. DJ Gable was affable and extremely detailed. As we were busy planning a wedding, having a stress-free vendor was just what the doctor ordered. We put a small playlist of songs together, and filled out their pre wedding paperwork while DJ Gable helped us to get a perfect timeline together for our big day. During our wedding, Jim was able to pronounce all of the tricky last names, he played all of our favorite songs, and literally kept the party jumping the entire reception.

From what I was told, all of our other vendors had nothing but high-praise for DJ Gable. Their correspondence was always extremely professional and we were told that he was not only easy to work with but an absolute joy to work with as well.

I highly recommend Stereophonics DJs to anyone looking for a great DJ for their next wedding or event!

Jim Gable acoustical and DJ service has fabulous on our wedding, we were so pleased to find a DJ that was flexible to our needs. Stereophonics DJ really listen to what bride and broom want out of their special day.

WOW!!! DJ Gable, or Jim, was absolutely amazing at our wedding. My husband and I opted for a mix of live guitar and DJ-ing. All of our guest were absolutely floored hearing Jim's incredible talent of playing the guitar. He was a professional from first meeting right through the reception. As far as his DJ skills go, let's put it this way, even my now husband was dancing--which I've never seen in our six years of dating! Go somewhere else if you're looking for a cheesy wedding singer type MC--as this is NOT Jim! He is a definite "A" in my books and I will highly recommend him to any and everyone! Thanks Jim!! :)

Stereophonic DJs was an amazing choice and DJ Gable was absolutely incredible. From the very first correspondence all the way to the wedding, they were prompt, courteous, professional and FUN. DJ Gable learned not one, but TWO songs for my wedding and even played guitar with me while I sang to my groom. Everyone had so much fun dancing and he was so wonderful with helping us iron our our perfect day-of timeline. I wholeheartedly cannot understand why ANY bride in the Marco Island/Naples are would choose anyone other than Stereophonic DJs.. especially if you're having a beach wedding. Thrilled!! DJ Jim Gable was awesome but...he was so much more than a DJ!! He played guitar for our ceremony. To be honest, it's all a happy haze, but I do remember thinking "that sounds nice" as I walked down the aisle. My guests have confirmed it was fab. Same goes for cocktail hour. Jim played steel drums and, while we were out doing photos, our guests have raved about his skills.

Lastly, as a DJ--he was great. We had a small, mixed-age group which would flood the dance floor for some songs, but then shy away for others. DJ Gable did a great job of reading the crowd and moving to the next song to keep everything going.

Stereophonic DJ's were so easy to work with. We did everything via email which was perfect for my husband and I, who don't live in the area. They were super flexible when we decided to add an extra 30 min on to the reception only about 2 weeks out.

I definitely recommend!!

We knew we wanted to have an acoustic guitar at our ceremony, a steel drum at our cocktail hour, and a DJ at our reception that would be flexible and tasteful....and while you hear about the "one man" show being too good to be true- I assure you, DJ Gabel at Stereophonic DJ's will not disappoint you. The 2 gentlemen we had from Stereophonic DJs (DJ Anthony along with a great Latin percussionist) were AMAZING! Anthony gave great advice pre-wedding during the phone consult and made excellent suggestions. He was very professional and went right along with our wishes. He and the percussionist kept the party going right up until midnight when our venue closed. The sound system and lighting was awesome. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

DJ Gable was truly awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only did he DJ the reception, he played the guitar (beautifully, might I add) to welcome the guests, during the ceremony while the bridal party walked, and for my entry to the ceremony... Every moment was beautiful and I'm so glad he is so talented!
During our phone meeting he made sure he knew how to correctly pronounce everyone's name (which I thought was great since I've been to weddings before that the DJs have botched names terribly). There was an in-depth worksheet/packet to fill out which made it easy for me to organize what kind of music I had in mind for each part of the day.
We talked in depth about the types of music my husband and I do & do not like- and he really did an amazing job! Throughout the night he played music that my guests LOVED and had people dancing the WHOLE evening (of all ages)! He wasn't like a lot of other corny DJs who think it's comedy hour, nor did he do the typical chicken dance, train, macarena, electric slide, etc... I was SO PLEASED with him, his advice, professionalism and would recommend him over & over! Thank you, again!!!!!!!!!!

We had a looooong party for our wedding and DJ Gable kept up with every part of it! First they provided wireless speakers on the beach for our ceremony, then he played the guitar and steel drums for cocktail hour, then he coordinated the introductions and reception perfectly and finally he moved upstairs to our after party until 1AM. He didn't miss a beat (no pun intended). I'd highly recommend them- they do it all!

If you are looking for a DJ in the Fort Myers/Naples area that is not like your stereotypical DJ this is your company. My husband and I had never been to a wedding where we liked the DJ they were always so tacky and cheesy. This was the complete opposite the focused on the music and only played the music you wanted played. I even had some odd special requests like "Rick Rolling" a song one of the groomsmen had requested and the DJ did it perfectly! So glad my wedding planner talked me into them! The dance floor was packed all night long!

I recently got married on May 14, 2012 in Sanibel Island, Florida. Jim Gable of Stereophonic DJs was our ceremony and cocktail hour musician and reception DJ, and he was absolutely amazing! Being from MA, a lot of research went into finding and picking our vendors for our destination wedding. With a little help from a talent agency we came across Jim and just knew he was the right guy for the job! Before actually talking with Jim we were able to listen to some of his guitar demos and saw some video excerpts of him DJing, which really helped us in picturing the whole thing coming together. Before the wedding we got to talk to Jim a lot, and he took time out of his days to help us with everything from planning our timeline to picking the right songs. He was so helpful, and so sweet! On the day of the wedding Jim was totally prepared for everything, and he absolutely rocked. The first time we actually met Jim was on our wedding day, but that made no difference because we immediately felt like he was an old friend. Jim's ceremony music on the guitar, his cocktail hour music on guitar and steel drums, and his reception DJing were all perfect. It was everything we asked for and more. He made everyone feel comfortable, and kept everyone smiling, laughing, and dancing! We couldn't have asked for a better guy to provide the musical entertainment on our wedding day. Jim is so talented and so very nice! He's the best! I recommend him and Stereophonic DJs to all brides!

DJ Burdier (Anthony Burdier) Was a hit!!!
Anthony was dressed appropriately, very personable, friendly, and a pleasure to have at our wedding.
We were overwhelmed with wedding planning and worried that the music may be an issue. Anthony put all of our worries to rest and far exceeded our expectations. With just one short phone call a few days before our wedding, we shared some general concerns, themes, and ideas with him. Our wedding was a huge success and went off with out a hitch. The dance floor was full the entire night :)
If I had to do it again, (which I will not! hahaha) I would not trust any one else to DJ my wedding. Thank you Anthony.

We hired Jim Gable at our Captiva wedding and would highly recommend him! He listened to our requests, timelines, etc and accommodated everything that we asked for and was adaptable on our wedding day!

Our initial call with DJ Peter made me feel comfortable and his knowledge of the venue windows kept us from overspending on uplighting. He arrived early and had the ceremony audio- including lapel mic for our officiant/groomsman- all set up before I even saw him he had worked smoothly with other vendors. The music overall was good, he played a wide range to adapt to our ranging guest ages and wove the requested songs throughout, but there were some songs (Ice Ice Baby, anything Miley Cyrus) that I would've vetoed had I thought of them for the do not play list. I would recommend if you're using a cut-down version of your first dance that you provide it digitally in case there are issues. There were some details that we had gone over earlier in the week on announcements & timing that got missed the day-of, nothing that anyone would notice outside of the bride, but I can't say it was perfect.

Prior to the wedding George had us fill out a wedding worksheet to plan our wedding reception. I selected a few songs under the song request sections that were significant to me and my family and friends. He assured us that he had all of the songs available in our call with him prior to the wedding. I was disappointed that all of the songs were not played during our reception. For example he played a Billy Joel song and a different slow song but did not play my slow dance Billy Joel song that I had listed in the questionnaire. It's hard to keep track of time at the reception as a bride, if I had realized we were close to ending the night I certainly would have asked he play some more songs from my list, as I did with one song earlier in the night. Also, I had put in the questionnaire not to take song requests from the crowd, but he did anyway.

Our guests had a great time dancing, but to me the reception felt very generic (YMCA, Macarena, Electric Slide & Cha Cha Slide). If you just want a party without a personal touch you will be very happy with Stereophonic DJs. He was very timely and professional. Dealing with Clint and George before and during the reception was easy and they were very responsive to any questions we had. Price was around average for DJs in the area. They were accommodating to a venue change due to Hurricane Irma.

Hurricane Hit Your Venue? Too Bad.

I booked a DJ with Wiley Entertainment (owned by Clint Wiley, the same owner of Stereophonic DJs) for my wedding in February 2023 on Sanibel Island. The contract was signed August of 2022. In September, Sanibel Island was hit by a hurricane and my venue cancelled all weddings. I reached out to Clint asking, because of the circumstances, if I could get my money back because I couldn't find another venue that fit my needs for the same day. He responded that his other clients had no problem finding other venues and to let him know if I rebooked but he wouldn't return my down payment. Finally, after lots of searching, I found a new venue on Key Largo. Clint replied that he did not travel beyond 2 hours (which was not in his contract). At that point, there was nothing I could do. I had asked him to reconsider multiple times, finally he stopped responding to my emails. He put less than a half hour of work in for me to sign the contract and the DJ was only booked for a month so to say I stopped him from being able to get other business that day simply isn't true. After having gone through the stress of losing my venue, Clint could have done a few things to help - he could have given a partial payment back due to the one month he lost, he could have charged me a travel fee and gone beyond his 2 hours radius, but he had no remorse or sympathy for my situation. I've also seen in other reviews he wouldn't give money back during COVID. I would just urge against anyone hiring this company. You never know what might happen leading up to your day and he won't do anything to help you.
