Great Ceremony - Short and Sweet

Stephen was great to work with and made the process easy. I know we were both nervous with speaking but once in the moment all was fine. He worked with us to have simple and sweet ceremony that included some verses. I'd highly recommend any couple looking to get married to work with him!

Amazing Officiant, made our day very special!

He was truly so great to work with throughout the planning process and we were both so happy he was our officiant for the big day. He is Genuine and helped make our day so special. He made us feel comfortable and helped remind us this is our day and make sure to be in the moment. He is reasonably priced and worth every penny and would highly suggest you hire him for your big day!!!

Stephen Palmer was simply AMAZING!!!! We wanted a beach wedding and Tybee Island is a beautiful destination and its home for me. Stephen helped me out every step of the way. When I contacted Stephen with questions or a request he always was quick to respond and answer any questions completely. The day of the wedding he kept everything light and fun which calmed our nerves and our ceremony was beautiful and on point. The price was great and his website is extremely helpful. I highly recommend Stephen Palmer Weddings and all of his services and assistance. One happy Bride! Thanks Stephen :-)

Stephen was great!!!! Me and my partner showed up to get married and he help us pick out the place, he helped take pictures, he was just awesome!!!! I can't say enough great things about him he made me and my partners day excellent! You want someone that genuinely cares about your wedding day and makes it feel special. Then you need to choose this man he was just awesome he made our day!!!!

Stephen did a wonderful job for our private ceremony on the beach. He has an easy going personality that is just perfect for the low key atmosphere of Tybee. He made us both feel incredibly comfortable and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does and cares for his clients. Steve is the kind of guy you just want to hang out with.

Stephen was amazing throughout the entire experience. He is so funny and he made the environment relaxing as I was stressed because it rained. Although I was not able to get my beach wedding, I still got the wedding of my dreams. Stephen was professional and made the experience wonderful. Top notch service here! Stephen was awesome! We booked him last minute because our other officiant dropped out at the last minute. He was so fun and flexible. He asked us questions to better perform our wedding ceremony, and performed it perfectly!

My husband and I are from OH, and planned our destination wedding on Tybee Island in June 2017. Stephen Palmer officiated our wedding, and he was fantastic! He was very responsive, answered all of my questions, and put my mind at ease...especially since ours was a destination wedding. We loved his laid-back attitude and his incredible sense of humor. You wouldn't have guessed that we had never met him face-to-face until the day of our wedding! When it comes to renewing our vows in a few years, we will MOST definitely be contacting Stephen!

My husband and I wanted a special and fun vow renewal ceremony for our ten year anniversary and Mr. Palmer did an amazing job with officiating. It was personable, unique, and touching. We utilized his archway and chairs, too and everything was set up perfectly! Very impressed, highly recommend!

My venue recommended Stephen as our officiant-- I was nervous at first having an officiant that we had never met before. But we were so thrilled with Stephen! He made us feel at ease before the ceremony. The ceremony was so personal, and he made it such a special experience for us. Stephen was also able to do a Celtic handfasting, which was important to us to include, and it turned out beautifully. All of our guests commented at how wonderful the ceremony was as well!

I would be hard pressed to recommend another individual to officiate a wedding! It was a pleasure to work with Stephen! If you want a beach wedding, Tybee Island is the place. You want to make it great, let Stephen set-up and officiate!

Stephen Palmer is AMAZING! We knew we were going to marry, but for a plethora reasons, we just couldn't pin down a day. Suddenly, we had a day - a Friday. We had about five days to to make plans. I found Stephen Palmer at www.stephenpalmerweddings.com I read wonderful reviews about Stephen! I called him two days before our wedding day and he stepped right up and we set the day and time.

We didn't have any family or friends close enough to attend our elopement ceremony, but he made our wedding day the most beautiful day of our lives. We had no idea we would be wed right on Tybee Beach! Stephen Palmer was warm, friendly, funny, sincere and professional. We had no photographer, so Stephen took precious pictures for us out of the kindness of his heart. It was a beautiful ceremony and we will never forget it, or Stephen Palmer. I highly recommend Stephen Palmer Weddings for your special day - Stephen Palmer is FANTASTIC!!!

I cannot begin to say how grateful we are to Stephen! We live out of town & hadn't had a ton of contact with him beforehand BUT, Stephen made our day exactly that; our day. He was incredibly kind & easy to work with. He was more than either me or my husband could have asked for. We decided at the last moment to include our kids in our ceremony & I'm so glad that we did. It made the day much more special than it already was. Our guests all had wonderful compliments for Stephen saying what a fabulous job he did in making our ceremony unique to "us". Stephen Palmer performed our wedding ceremony in April of 2016. I was so glad to find his website as we were attempting to perform a budget wedding. His prices are reasonable and I loved that you can pick and choose his services. Stephen made this process as simple and efficient as could be. He advised us of the great location our ceremony was performed in. As I was worried about the crowding of the beach, he put my fears to rest. Thank you Stephen for making my wedding wonderful.

Stephen was amazing. We were a little nervous since we only met with him one time, but the ceremony was so personal and honest and we loved everything he said. He helped us get the beach permit and guided us in what needed to be done for the ceremony. The only issue was a miscommunication about the rehearsal and since he books very fast, he had a wedding the same time as the rehearsal we thought we had booked with him. He came to our site right after the other wedding and it worked out perfectly. He gave my husband (to-be) and I a pep-talk the night before the wedding that completely put us at ease and helped calm our nerves. He was great to work with and I would highly recommend him.

Very happy with the decision to go with Stephen as our wedding officiant. We planned our entire wedding remotely, which is a stressful situation indeed. By the time the wedding rolled around, I could barely tell you my name! Stephen proved to be a calm and grounding center in the chaos. He was prompt and affable, organized and accommodating. He conducted our rehearsal and wedding with strength and tenderness, a hard balance to strike. He reminded us of the gravitas of the moment and advised us to take the moments to be in the moment, to remember the day and all its many gifts. This advice helped calm and center me on what was important about the day, and not get hung up on the stressful detail. Many of my personal memories of the day are directly born of remembering and following his suggestion. Thank you Stephen!

Stephen married me and my husband, Keith, last weekend, and it was such a pleasure working with him! I wanted to be married on the private north side of Tybee beach where the Savannah River meets the Atlantic Ocean--as this location holds special memories for me as a kid. Even though he couldn't cart his equipment onto the private beach (e.g. chairs, altar, etc.), Stephen offered great tips on how to decorate this wedding ceremony.

As a "Type A" bride, he was great about meeting with us months before the ceremony to talk over any details, offer suggestions, etc. to put my mind at ease. On the day of the wedding ceremony, Stephen was both laidback and a true professional, which was a great combination to help make the ceremony fun and relaxed while not missing a beat with any of the details!

As a bride, I couldn't imagine a more romantic venue than a beach sunset wedding. We searched all up and down the east coast to find a wedding organizer who would allow us to bring in our own ideas and work to create the wedding of our dreams. We wanted to include all of our family and we had so many Pintresty ideas that Stephen allowed us to bring to life. He answered all of our concerns over the next 8 months and responded within 24 hours. He is very laid back and easy to work with, however the day of the wedding he became instantly professional and address all of our needs and gave solutions to some last minute issues. He gave wonderful ideas on vendors, receptions venues, and we have had so many compliments on him and his suggestions. He gave a beautiful ceremony that included my daughter, which made everyone cry happy tears. It was an absolute beautiful day and we were so pleased with his work.

Steven provided us with a non religious beach wedding we wanted. It was a perfect ceremony! He was easy to talk with and to schedule. Tybee Island at sunset couldnt of been any better. Our picture are just fabulous, he hooked us up with the photographer. There was nothing I would of changed!

Thank you Stephen! Planning a destination wedding on Tybee Island was made so much easier after we met Stephen. He put us at ease and took care of almost everything. The site he uses on the South Beach is perfect with dunes and sea oats to set a background against the ocean. We chose to have the steel drums which just made the setting perfect! Stephen did a great job handling our wedding. Anytime I had a question, he responded in a timely manner! Planning a destination wedding in Tybee Island, GA was scary at first, but luckily we found Stephen Palmer! He called me right away after receiving my contact form and took care of everything! I didn't realize wedding planning could be so easy and stress free! Stephen set up the arbor and 10 chairs for our small wedding on the beach and it was beautiful! Everything was there and ready to go, all we had to do was show up! Our wedding day was perfect thanks to Stephen Palmer Weddings! He made us feel so comfortable and had us laughing like we had known him forever. His words during the ceremony were so meaningful! He put emphasis on the reality of marriage and love, we will remember his words forever! It was a truly special day and we can't thank him enough for being such a huge part of our day! Stephen was very personable and easy to work with. We were able to get the date we wanted and he helped us with planning the wedding from across the country. We had a wonderful spot on the beach and took photographs after the ceremony with a fantastic photographer that he had reserved for us. He communicated exactly what to expect which was very helpful. When we renew our vows someday we will be giving him a call!

I have nothing but positive things to say. Our vowel renewal went fantastic with a beautiful spot on the beach . Stephen did a great job incorporating our daughters. We did not have a ring ceremony, we did a sand ceremony for our vowels. Stephen was fantastic!!

From the moment i came across stephen palmers website i have been nothing but pleased.Planning a destination wedding is stressful but stephen takes all the stress away,he handles everything his location on north beach us beautiful,his photographer is amazing,he keeps in touch even after wedding.... so highly recommend him for yoyr wedding .... amazing service and wedding for our ceremony on july 12 love it....

Stephen was so wonderful in accommodating our simple elopement. Little did I know the location and photographer we hired through him would turn the simple into extraordinary. We had a sunset wedding with our parents there and it was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend him for your beach wedding!

Stephen was absolutely amazing! Our day could not have been more perfect (aside from the extreme heat)! I was very worried about planning a wedding from Indiana but everything turned out beautifully. He provided me with recommendations for flowers/cake, provided directions, beach permit, and even finding a new home for the ottomans I purchased for seats. I was shocked at how well everything went with no rehearsal and with me not visiting Tybee prior to our wedding date. The photographer he uses is FANTASTIC and the guitarist cancelled last minute and he found a new one very quickly for us. Would definitely recommend Stephen for a Tybee Island wedding!

Awesome! He was there anytime i needed reassurance everything would be ok. He did an amazing job of working with what we wanted. I was really nervous about working with someone long distance and planning my special day but i couldnt have wished it to be any better!!

Our wedding was in Savannah on Tybee beach but we live in NC. Stephen was AWESOME to work long distance. He did not miss anything from directions to location, permits, info on places to stay, food, cake info as well as a photography. Planning this from NC was so easy. I was never stressed. I was a little worried planning a destination wedding, but Stephen made it so easy for us. He expertly handled all of our requests before hand and helped put us at ease as we gathered for my daughter's wedding. The ceremony was so warm and personal with the perfect blend of elegance and Tybee Island casual. He helped fulfill our wishes for a beautiful beach wedding.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! I could not have asked for a better experience. Stephen was professional and extremely friendly to me and all my guests. They raved about how beautiful he made the ceremony. He shut all other officiants down with his impeccable service. I would recommend him to everyone who wants a nice stress free wedding.

Stephen was absolutely wonderful! He was so kind and helpful and we could not have asked for a better experience. He truly helped to make our beach wedding perfect for us - simple, sweet, romantic, and relaxed. He found a beautiful location for us (North Beach near the lighthouse) and made all of the arrangements for the photographer. Stephen made our day perfect! He was awesome from helping us making sure everything was in order, even my confusing ring!, to the words he said to make our day perfect. He included my children in the ceremony as well. I can't thank him enough, he was there from the time we booked him up till our day available to answer any questions we had. His attention to detail was great. he made us feel like he knew us instead of just some random person marrying us. And we couldn't of had better weather for our ceremony. Stephen and Tybee Island are great!!! Highly recommend!

Stephen officiated at our wedding in Savannah this past weekend. The ceremony was simple and meaningful. Everything moved at the perfect pace. We wrote our own vows, and also had him lead a sand unity ceremony. He also incorporated my two children (8 & 13) in the wedding without making them uncomfortable in the spotlight. We wanted a completely non-religious ceremony, at sunrise, on the beach, with a child involved, in a week. We wrote our own vows. And yet, Stephen added so much. It was beautiful and intimate and everything I could have wanted. He incorporated everything we wanted, then added things, adjusting as he went, to us and the surrounding. His voice was so expressive and added meaning to words we have all heard so often. At the end he just started taking pictures with the iPad. I recommend him highly!

Stephen Palmer was our last minute wedding addition :) We called him two days before our wedding and thankfully he was free and could be our officiant.

The ceremony was short but still meaningful. He has a great sense of humor and makes you feel very comfortable. My husband and I were really happy to be able to work with him and we truly recommend him.

The only thing I regret about my Tybee Island wedding was hiring Stephen Palmer. His lack of proffesionalism, arrogant attitude, and disrespectful behavior is the only negative aspect of my wedding! The initial correspondence I had with him was always pleasant, until the day of my wedding. He fooled me into thinking he was a decent man. I hired him to rent his bamboo arbor, not to officiate, coordinate, run my rehearsal, hire a photographer, etc. I told him beforehand that we knew where we wanted things set up and gave him a time frame for my family to be there to set up for the ceremony. He decided where he thought the arbor should go and installed it before someone got there to tell him. When my sister-in-law initially, apologetically explained to him it wasn't where we wanted it, he angrily exploded, threw his tools down, and insisted that if I wanted it moved, I would have to pay more. Even made the comment, "I've already been paid, I should just leave." After walking away, he came back and continued to berrate and cuss at my family. I overheard him telling my matron of honor to "shut up!" He was yelling, "where do you f******* want it?" He continued to disrespect them and did not even have the decency to learn their names; referring to them as "green jacket" and "purple dress". Before initially writing a review on his Facebook page (which he has now since deleted) I emailed him and expressed my disapproval in the way he treated my family who bent over backwards to make my wedding perfect. He waited to respond to explain his side of things, and still did not offer an apology for his behavior. An apology would have gone long way. In the end after my brother stepped in, and convinced him to move the arbor to where I wanted it, but my wedding would have been better to have not had an encounter with him at all. I'm still shocked that someone would act in that manner especially someone who has been paid a service.
