I had the absolute greatest experience with Stephanie and her team for my wedding! I wanted glam but to still feel like myself, and they did just that. I am over the moon with how I looked, my hair and makeup lasted me all day and through the night, and the girls were just SO MUCH FUN to spend my wedding morning with. I will be using them for any glam needs I may have in the future. Cannot recommend enough!! xoxo -

The Most Beautiful Bride
Victoria and her assistant did such an incredible job on my bridal hair and makeup as well as the hair and makeup for my mom and sister (maid of honor). She listened to my concerns and made adjustments as needed to create a look that made me feel like the most beautiful bride ever. The hair and makeup lasted all night - even through some happy tears and a LOT of sweat from dancing! - and I got so many compliments from family and friends. Looking at the pictures, I still cannot believe how lovely I looked. You are in the best hands with Stephanie Nelson's artists!! Thank you, Victoria! -

Stephanie and her team were absolutely AMAZING!! Prior to the wedding, they got back to me very quickly with any questions I had and made me feel so comfortable during my trial. The day of the wedding, my girls and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable and beautiful! All the HMUA were so easy to work with and made us laugh, making the morning so enjoyable. They were on time and made sure each girl looked exactly how she wanted. I couldn’t have felt more beautiful the day of my wedding! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Stephanie!! -

Stephanie and her team were absolutely incredible in getting me and my 11 bridesmaids ready for the big day. They were efficient, listened to what the girls wanted, and made touch-ups for those that needed it.
Stephanie is also queen at handling mothers and mothers-in-law to make sure the day is about YOU! She was part therapist, part make-up artist, part hype girl. Cannot recommend her and her team enough. -

Every single one of my girls (including moms/aunts) had so much getting ready with the SN team and we all could not have been more happy with the way we looked for the day! Still obsessed with my hair and makeup...Stephanie is amazing!!!
Stephanie and her team are absolutely wonderful to work with. I have hated my hair/makeup anytime I’ve gotten it done professionally so I was nervous about having it done for my wedding. As soon as I met Stephanie at my trial I knew I was in good hands! She and her team are easy to work with and truly take into account what you ask for. They are thorough in understanding your skin and hair type and using the best products for you! Stephanie is also hilarious and such a joy to be around, and the team helped us have so much fun the morning of the wedding. My bridesmaids all loved their looks too, and we got so many compliments!!! My sister was my maid of honor and loved everything about the experience working with Stephanie that she hired them for her wedding this fall (and I can’t wait to work with her again!!!!) -

Stephanie and her team are incredible! They are super friendly, helpful, amazing at what they do, and I couldn't imagine trusting anyone else for my hair and makeup needs for my big day. When Stephanie finished my hair and makeup and had me take a look at it, I was overcome with emotion, I really can't describe it other than to say I felt like I was in a fairy tale looking at her art. Her team was great with my Bridesmaids, sister in law, and my flower girls, they made us feel pampered and beautiful. Seriously look no further, and book this team -

I wish I started first with SN Makeup & Hair!
Originally, I had booked a different artist, who promised me I would be ready the day of the wedding on time and with enough stylists to do this in a timely manner, no stress. 2 months before our wedding the original stylist I hired could not provide an accurate styling timeline, enough team members to finish everyone on time, and guarantee I would be ready on time - I canceled that contract. I was so STRESSED.
I wanted to work with vendors that were honest, professional, and knowledgeable about their services.
I wish I started with SN Makeup & Hair… but I am so glad & grateful they were the ones behind the chair getting the girls & I ready for my big day.
During the length of my engagement - I did 9 hair & makeup trials with other artists, not including hair & makeup for other events. I did 2 hair trials & 1 makeup trial with SN.
Let’s just say - my hair does not hold a curl, my hair is very fine, very healthy, and very silky straight - and my hair plays hard to get. I struggled trial after trial to get my hair to hold the style for more than 3 hours without looking like I had completely fallen apart, my hair would just straighten itself out, and I looked like I spent days inside of a wind tunnel. What I’ve learned is, there are alot of hair/makeup teams out there - almost anyone can do a photoshoot, but you really want a professional team well versed in bridal for the day of your wedding - if you want your look to last all day.
When I reached out to SN with my list of questions- they responded quickly, all questions answered, and with an estimated preliminary styling timeline. I booked a trial, with whomever was available! Then what stood out from the beginning was when - I sent SN a massive google drive of styles that I liked/considered, she responded without hesitation AND said “can we change your trial date, I have 2 lead artists (Daniela & Victoria) that best fit your style and to make sure we nail the look you’re going for”. This attention to detail from the get go, is what you want from a styling team - and who you want touching your head on your big day. After our hair trials, I emailed them with any of my last minute concerns and Stephanie addressed them quickly and honestly with what efforts the team would put in so my hair would possibly behave and I could achieve the style my heart desired, but also the reality of having difficult hair. Day of the wedding - I went with hair down, and on the day of the wedding with their hair prep methods - my hair HELD 7am to 1am, my hair curls were bouncy, and frizz free! My hair was FLAWLESS from every angle. My makeup was amazing as well, Victoria took the time to understand my skin type and where my oily spots were and where my sensitive zones were and prepped my skin - then applied makeup strategically. I felt comfortable in my hair and makeup all day - I looked high end glam, but also normal in person, and the makeup would photograph well!
Your hair and makeup team is the first vendor you see the day of your wedding, they are the first ones you spend time with - they set the precedent for your day. They are a great group of women ready to hang out and work hard for you! Day of the wedding they were on time, we had fun, they finished ahead of schedule, I felt relaxed, I never felt rushed, and everyone (myself, moms, and the girls) felt cared for. I really appreciate that they took the time - 1. to make sure my mom looked amazing, and that she was comfortable and not stressed out 2. to make sure every person was comfortable with their whole look.

The BEST stylists to work with! So funny, relaxing, easy-going and amazing at what they do. Not only did was I, as the bride, just taken aback at how great I looked, but all of bridesmaids said they never felt they had ever looked so good before! The full team at Stephanie Nelson Makeup & Hair is extremely easy to work with and are very responsive to any questions. They help you choose a style that fits your personality, but also that works best with your face/hair. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did and how fun they were to work with!
p.s. When you get those day-of jitters, Stephanie also knows how to calm you down and make you feel extremely reassured. :) -

Stephanie is Incredible
I have been in to many weddings to count and she was by far the best and most organized. I was so blessed to have her at my own wedding. She did an incredible job on all the girls hair and makeup. My updo she did for my portraits, wedding day, and newlywed shoot was an exact match and held all night, not one hair dropped. My makeup was exactly what I wanted. My girls loved the pre survey she offers to keep everything on time and preplanned. I will use her for all hair/ makeup events in the future. -

Stephanie Nelson and her team were so great to work with! Stephanie even set up an extra make up trial when I wanted some changes after my first one, and included a fourth artist on my wedding day to make sure I was taken care of. They came in like an army on the wedding day with all their supplies and chairs and lighting and they were also so fun to hang out with while we all got ready! The team of 4 got 8 of us wedding ready in under 3 hours. The bridesmaids continually remarked all night how it was the best wedding hair and make up they've ever had. And the make up and hair stayed in place ALL NIGHT!! They even gave me a bag of blotting papers and lipstick and lip gloss to use throughout the night. They were professional, friendly, helpful, and did a beautiful job! -

I originally booked Ashlee for hair and had a different vendor for makeup, however a couple months before the wedding I went ahead and cut ties with my makeup girl for several reasons. In comes SN Makeup & Hair and Daniela to the rescue! Ashlee and Daniela did my hair and makeup for boudoir, bridals, and wedding day along with all of my bridesmaids. Not only are they fun to hang out with, they do a great job of really creating the look that you want! They are definitely professional, which was a nice change of pace from my original makeup vendor. I will definitely be using them for any hair/makeup needs in the future, and I can't recommend them enough! -

She was so easy to work with and would take my idea, show me different style options, and then use her artistry to make me into my most gorgeous self! I had so many people throughout the entire evening say that they truly thought I was the most beautiful bride they had ever seen and looked like I belonged on a magazine, and that my makeup artist did an incredible job. Yes, they are biased; but I really am very average beauty-wise, and she did such a great job that I was amazed at what I saw when I looked at myself in the mirror and in photos. She and her assistant did makeup for 7 people in 3 hours on my wedding day, which is quite a feat! And they pulled it off flawlessly. They even stayed until the reception to do touch-ups before the reception. I would recommend her to anyone. She's wonderful! -
