Our goal for our wedding was to be able to fully enjoy celebrating with our friends and family without worrying about anything, and Stephanie made that happen. She was on top of everything, always available, and quick to respond, and it genuinely felt like we were on the same wavelength throughout the entire planning process. As a conflict-averse bride, it was a relief having Stephanie in my corner to advocate for us when a vendor presented options we didn’t love or when there were too many familial opinions flying around. She listened closely to our vision and, with her years of experience, offered thoughtful guidance on how to bring our ideas to life. Stephanie oversaw every single tiny detail and effortlessly rolled with our last-minute changes. Even with other events going on, it always felt like we were a priority, and her genuine care for us made all the difference. If you’re planning a Tahoe wedding from afar, do yourself a huge favor and just hire Stephanie immediately. We wanted a full-blown mountain experience for our destination wedding, and there is absolutely no way we could have pulled it off without her.
Stephanie doesn’t just plan your wedding. She lives and breathes Tahoe. Because we were out of town, we couldn't be there to check on decor deliveries, manage all the physical items, and prep with vendors, but Stephanie handled it all like a pro. Having someone local who we trusted made the entire process enjoyable instead of a logistical nightmare.
She took our vision and turned it into something even better than we imagined. She was a total rockstar with our biggest request: making sure our dogs were a part of everything. She found so many creative ways to include them, which made the weekend feel so personal.
Stephanie even coordinated a hike up the mountain for an intimate first look. Standing there with those breathtaking views was a core memory we’ll have forever, and she made the logistics of it look easy. She didn't just give us a wedding day; she planned an entire weekend for our guests that felt like a true mountain getaway.

November Truckee Wedding
My husband and I got married on November 1, 2025 in Truckee, CA and had been planning for about a year. I found Stephanie in late 2024 on Instagram and from the very beginning of our planning process, she was an absolute gift. While she was our day-of coordinator, she felt so much more like a planning partner and steady guide throughout the entire journey.
In the months leading up to the wedding, Stephanie was incredibly organized, thoughtful, and generous with her time, answering questions, offering guidance, helping us think through logistics we never would have considered, and making the planning process feel manageable and calm. As a bride, having someone who was both knowledgeable and reassuring made such a huge difference. I’m very type A and like things to be done a certain way, and Stephanie not only understood that immediately, but met me exactly where I was, respecting my vision, honoring the details, and executing everything flawlessly without ever making me feel stressed or unheard.
On the wedding day itself, Stephanie was nothing short of amazing. She handled every detail seamlessly, kept everything running smoothly, and solved problems before we even knew they existed. A Truly Exceptional Wedding Planner!
From the very beginning, working with Stephanie felt like having a close friend by our side throughout the entire wedding planning journey. Her personal touch, genuine care, and unwavering support made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and exciting.
Communication was consistently excellent — whether it was through calls, texts, or emails, we were always in the loop and never felt out of touch. We especially appreciated how available Stephanie was, joining us for in-person meetings (even going out of her way to meet with us in person in the Bay Area) and going above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of. It was clear that she was fully invested in making sure we felt supported every step of the way.
One of the things we loved most was how Stephanie broke down the planning process into manageable chunks. Every question we had, no matter how big or small, was answered with patience and clarity. She did everything she could to help us not get overwhelmed and that we understood each decision we were making. Even though wedding planning can get overwhelming at times, she was there to help us navigate our thoughts and settle our minds.
Our priorities and vision were always top of mind for Stephanie, and we truly felt that our needs were her first concern. She also introduced us to a few incredible vendors we never would have thought of ourselves, each of whom played a crucial role in making our day perfect.
On top of all the logistical planning, Stephanie was instrumental in helping us navigate some tricky family dynamics (hello, VIP list!) with tact and grace, taking so much stress off our shoulders leading up to and even on the day of the wedding.

Lake Tahoe Wedding
To say working with Stephanie was amazing, would be an understatement. My husband and I got engaged in late December 2024 and we hired Stephanie January 2025 to plan our Lake Tahoe October 2025 wedding. From the moment we first made contact with Stephanie, she was completely committed to helping us create our special day. I had a very specific vision for how I wanted our wedding day to look and Stephanie delivered beyond what I could have imagined. Her attention to detail is uncanny. The minutia was just as important as the grand events of the day. I consider myself to be an organized person, but Stephanie's organization is next level. I was definitely a "type A" or "needy" bride and continually checked in with Stephanie about details/schedules/vendors/etc., and sometimes even jumped the gun on planning details. Not once did Stephanie make me feel bad about my nervous energy or impulsive decisions, but rather reassured me of the planning process and reminded me that whatever I wanted she was going to help me get it; whether it was a specific vendor or design detail. She was always available to answer my emails or texts all while meeting the needs of her other brides, and that is something I greatly appreciated. The weeks leading up to your wedding day become hectic and overwhelming at times, but that's where Stephanie shines. She took care of every detail imaginable-and I mean EVERY DETAIL. She help relieved the pressure off my husband and I, which allowed us to enjoy and revel in the excitement of the coming day.
On our wedding day, she worked endlessly to make sure every aspect was perfect and exactly how we wanted it, all while still finding the time to physically check in with both myself and husband while we were getting ready for the day. Even throughout the afternoon and evening, if my husband or I needed something she would magically appear, despite continuing to juggle the events of the evening.
Stephanie is the type of planner, and person, who gives 100% of herself to her couples and that is an aspect of a planner that money can't buy. She cares deeply about helping you achieve the wedding day of your dreams, and she certainly did just that, and more for us. Choosing Stephanie to plan our wedding day was the best decision we could have made and I will forever be thankful for her and the day she created for my husband and I. Thanks to Stephanie we truly had the best wedding day, and in turn, have the fondest memories to carry with us. -

My now husband and I interviewed no less than 10 planners for our destination wedding in Lake Tahoe. We ultimately decided to go with Stephanie because from step 1 she offered us flexibility and gave us different options outside of the traditional Lake Tahoe wedding venues. Stephanie listened to us and what we wanted and everything was executed perfectly!
Every single vendor she recommended was amazing and she really made our vision (or lack there of) come to life! Not only was the wedding perfect, but she helped us plan 2 other wedding weekend events, all which were amazing and exceeded our expectations.
Stephanie went as far as offering to schedule dress appointments for me across the country in New York as I was struggling! This was well outside of her duties as a wedding planner, but a perfect example of how great and caring she is.
Our wedding was 6 weeks ago and our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful everything was down to the details. So many people have said that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been too. Even the hotel we blocked told me that all of our guests were raving about the wedding!! We give all credit to Stephanie for planning such a beautiful and perfect day and weekend.

After seeing how above and beyond Stephanie went for my brothers wedding, my fiance and I immediately knew we had to have her for our special day. Our day would not have been the same without her! Getting married in Tahoe with a tight budget is hard, even harder when you want to get married on the lake and want great food. We interviewed with other planners who laughed at our low budget and said it couldn't be done. Stephanie was confident that we could find something that would work for us that we would still love. Of course you always hesitate when seeing the pricing for a wedding planner but I can truthfully say Stephanie was 100% worth every single dollar. We spent a weekend touring vendors around the lake. We thought we knew where we wanted to get married but Stephanie let us know about the ins/outs of that spot and how it could be difficult to get what we wanted there because of specific rules/regulations. And then she showed us places we had never even heard of/considered! Of course we fell in love with Gar Woods, - getting married on the lake, amazing food, and in our budget! I'm also type A and like to control everything and make sure everything goes as planned. Stephanie understood my personality right away and she knew how to guide us/show us the different options/decisions for our wedding day. Day of the wedding I worried about nothing but myself! She took everything off my plate (typically hard for me) and that made all the difference because normally I'm doing it all to make sure it runs smoothly. Best Wedding Planner Ever!!!
Stephanie was absolutely incredible to work with and made all of my wedding dreams come true. She was incredibly organized, creative, thoughtful and positive. Our entire wedding weekend from our Friday Welcome party, to hiking, golf, our wedding, and our post wedding Brunch were perfect thanks to her and her amazing team. Stephanie is an excellent wedding planner! We worked with her for over a year, and she was always responsive. She had to work with a problematic venue owner and gracefully handled him. She took all of the stress away from us. The weekend of the wedding, Stephanie was there running all the details without being in the way. The wedding would not have been the same without her management, suggestions, decor help, etc. She surprised us by working the brunch the next day and helping the caterer set up, manage the buffet, and clean up. I highly recommend her to any family planning a wedding in Lake Tahoe. -

Stephanie helped plan a pretty complicated wedding for my husband and I in about 2 months time. We had to shuttle guests from our reception parking area to our ceremony site (a private community with no parking), and back. She connected us with high-quality vendors who matched our personalities and vision for the wedding. She really listened to what we wanted, added her professional input, and made it happen! Stephanie is extremely professional, personable, and organized. I would recommend her to anyone. Stephanie was truly incredible to work with! We had some friends recommend her after using her for their wedding and we are truly so grateful for that rec! She knocks the socks off of all other planners—was in a friend’s wedding shortly before with a different planner and Stephanie was MILES above!
We got to spend almost two full years working with her from when we first started planning, and she was such a value add immediately. We had started looking at venues before hiring a planner, and were about to sign for a different one, and on our first call she asked if she could give us some alternate options, and we ended up with the most incredible venue that exactly fit our vibe instead of our original choice which would have worked, but definitely limited us in achieving exactly what we wanted for our wedding. As a bonus—the venues she recommended for us were less traditional “all inclusive” venues which actually worked so much better for our fusion wedding.
Stephanie came through with some amazing vendor recommendations and was super helpful in comparing pricing and reviewing contracts, as well as being flexible with our budget and providing options at different levels so we felt comfortable with cost. It was so handy to have a planner who actually lives in the region as she had the best recommendations and truly knew the area well. Calls with Stephanie were literally a blast and I think we almost always went over our schedule time because she was so much fun to talk to :)
Stephanie absolutely killed it with the event and the weekend of itself—we did multiple days of events for our Indian fusion wedding, and she seriously made it all happen and took care of the last minute details so my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy the events and not worry about set up/clean up/dealing with vendors/or any last minutes snafus. She and her assistants blew it out of the water and were so flexible with our non-traditional ceremony + asks. The amount of stress she managed to keep away from us was nothing short of miraculous and it made for the most magical weekend -

Stephanie made our wedding planning a stress-free, fun and engaging process and we couldn't have been more grateful for her time and hard work.
Not only was she CRITICAL weekend-of, making many Reno-Tahoe trips on our behalf collecting and returning rental items, running errands, tracking every little item that was wedding related, keeping us fed, calmly managing anything that came up without adding any stress to our day, and SO much more... but she also became a friend over the process- one whose opinion we trusted and one we knew we could always count on who always had our best interest in mind.
Stephanie emphasizes along the process that it's our day and provided us with all the information we could need along the way, while encouraging us to make the informed decisions so that we could look around on our wedding day and feel like the day still reflected OUR vision- and it was exactly that and more.
Though I could go on about how communicative and on-top of it Stephanie is (and this is coming from someone who is fairly type-A myself), I think I was most impressed with all of the comments we got from other vendors, frequently exclaiming how Stephanie is the best in the business, how much more organized and ahead of schedule she is than other planners, and how easy she made the process for them. When these other vendors, who you know are working with dozens and dozens of couples/ planners a year are overly impressed with your planner, you know you picked a good one. Not to mention, every friend/ family member coming up to us over the weekend complimenting how calm, collected and organized she was weekend-of and how lucky we are to have found such a great planner... we couldn't agree more!
We couldn't have done it without Stephanie and are SO grateful. Our wedding was more than we could have ever ever dreamt, and truly none of it would have been possible without Stephanie's calming presence, her knowledge of the wedding industry (and the deep specificities of Tahoe/ NorCal industry) and her hard-work ethic. -

If you are wondering if you need Stephanie Marie and Co. a part of your wedding team, read this. My fiancé and I paid for our wedding, so we were very intentional about where and how much money we allocated to each vendor. I am very detail-oriented, and I plan large gatherings and events for work. I was questioning if I even needed a planner or day-of coordinator for our wedding. Hiring Stephanie Marie & Co. was the best decision we made in choosing our vendors. This review would be too long for anyone to read if I listed all of the ways she saved our wedding day and served us well during our planning process. Stephanie is incredibly smart, professional, organized, and resourceful. I can not give enough praise to the level of skill she brings to wedding coordinating and planning. Stephanie seamlessly bridged the gaps between all of my wedding vendors, made our wedding vision come to life in a way I didn’t think was possible, and was truly my wedding day savior. Our wedding reception cocktail hour and part of our reception seating was outdoor. The day before the wedding, the weather forecast changed to forecast rain. I didn’t have any tentage reserved, which starts at $4,000+ to reserve through a vendor. Stephanie went and bought tents to cover the outdoor space and outdoor reception seating. It rained on our wedding day. Stephanie identified, resourced, and solved a problem that would have cost me over double the cost of her planning package, and I didn’t even know it was a problem until Stephanie has already fixed it. Stephanie was an absolutely pleasure to plan with, helped me think of details that would have been big issues on the wedding day had we not had a plan. She was the glue that kept everything together, and, coming from a person who is a type A planner, she was essential for keeping my wedding day smooth,
From the day I met her to weeks after the wedding, Stephanie was my right-hand lady, and I truly don’t know what I would have done without her. If you are wondering who you should hire, this is your sign to hire Stephanie. I promise that the money you pay to her in planning services, you will save 10x fold in her discounts, recommendations, and last-minute emergencies that without her would have been expensive; she will have already solved the problem before it become an expensive one.
Have I mentioned she is just a delight to have around?! You know this if you have already talked to her, but I looked forward to all our planning calls and meetings, and, from the moment we met to our wedding day reception in the women’s restroom together while she sewed my dress strapped that broke during photos, she truly became a friend that I trust completely and I believe she deeply cares for John and I. She did everything possible to make our wedding day absolutely perfect, and she succeeded.

Stephanie made the process of selecting and booking vendors fun and easy -- she has a gift for identifying a vision and implementing it. Through her prior work with countless vendors, Stephanie offered great insight into what to look for. Whether through vision calls, questionnaires or Pinterest “homework”, Stephanie gave us tools to develop our vision for each vendor and for the wedding day itself. Furthermore, her negotiating skills during the vendor and venue booking process saved us more than her planning fee cost.
Our wedding had major changes due to COVID, and Stephanie was always one step ahead in terms of planning and management. Our original venue canceled on us just a few months before our date, which was locked in stone due to work pressures. But Stephanie laid out a plan for finding a new location and spent extra time touring our new options in person. She managed all our vendors and arranged for them to relocate to our new venue (three and a half hours away from our original). This was a lot of unexpected work for Stephanie, which she handled incredibly. When unexpected events inevitably come up during the wedding planning process, Stephanie will do what it takes to make sure that everything works.
In addition to her talent for logistics, Stephanie provided invaluable advice on interpersonal dynamics. If there are touchy subjects that come up during the planning process, Stephanie is the perfect resource.
On a personal note, Stephanie is warmhearted, thoughtful, and a joy to be around. We enjoyed all the time we got to spend with her during the planning process. By the day of our wedding, Stephanie became our friend and confidant.

Stephanie navigated the most complicated wedding season imaginable (pandemic + wildfires) with absolute poise. We had a mostly-DIY wedding so having Stephanie’s full service was essential. Where you really see Stephanie shine is in her extensive relationships with vendors. Especially with a DIY wedding, your options of vendors are endless. Stephanie knows all the vendors in the greater Tahoe area (and within all of Northern CA it seems) and knows exactly which ones suit your needs. Not only does she know them, but she has a personal relationship with nearly all of them. With Stephanie you have access to things that the general public can’t get. Vendors want to work with Stephanie, which makes finding and planning with vendors so much easier.
Stephanie also manages to balance the fine line between sharing her opinion, but not forcing us to go in any one direction. She truly listened to our needs and priorities, and helped us navigate the various options to find what would work best for us. She also shares a wealth of creative ideas from past weddings that she’s worked on, and has insights into what works well and what potential pitfalls to avoid (or plan around).
On the weekend of the wedding, Stephanie was magnificent. She was always a calming presence that allowed us to enjoy the weekend to its fullest, and she worked tirelessly behind the scenes the days leading up to and the day-of the event to make our wedding come to life and help it feel like us. I'll start just by saying that Stephanie truly helped us create and have the most special wedding day and our best day ever. We met Stephanie in January of 2020 while planning our Tahoe City wedding, looking to book a day-of wedding coordinator for our August 2020 celebration. I'm definitely a type-A, organized, planning type, and thought I could manage on my own. Fast forward to the pandemic and spring 2020, and I started to feel a little out of my wheelhouse as we started to navigate the "what-ifs" and potential postponement discussion. We made the easy decision to upgrade our package with Stephanie and never looked back! Stephanie helped us not only to navigate a year-long postponement, but also the smoke/air quality conditions that made us have to pivot the day before the ceremony. Even with the changes, we couldn't have asked for a more relaxed, fun wedding day, and that had so much to do with Stephanie's hard work for us. With the postponement and her local knowledge of vendors in the area, we likely ended up saving quite a bit of money with her negotiation skills, which really just increased the value of the service she provided. I'd recommend Stephanie to anyone looking to get married in the area and want to also recognize just how great of a person she is. Stephanie was an absolute joy to work with over the months leading up to our amazing Lake Tahoe wedding. As Floridians who had never visited the area, we were "flying blind" when we chose our destination venue. Stephanie set up calls with several vendors and provided us invaluable guidance and recommendations, leading us to have a dream team of vendors with great personality fits and an overall epic wedding!! She's also great at smoothing disagreements between bride and MOB and talking me off the ledge when I'd get a little cray...hehe. I recommend her full service package, especially if you're traveling from afar like I did. Stephanie listened to every crazy idea we had helped make it happen, lifting so many burdens off of us and putting us 100% at ease to fully enjoy our multiple events. This woman is a godsend — detail-oriented, a hard worker, and fun, we cannot recommend her highly enough. From the moment we booked Stephanie, she lifted every wedding burden, no matter how great or small, off our very stressed shoulders. We had been planning a 120-person wedding since last year, and when COVID-19 struck, it became apparent we would have to pivot in a major way. Still hoping for the best, we only started re-planning in earnest two months before the date (shame on us) and nearly everything changed--guest list, venue, caterer, rentals....and with every bump in the road, Stephanie was there, working nights and weekends, emailing us into the wee hours and texting with us on what should have been her days off, because she cares so much. And on days where we felt overwhelmed, she was all too happy to take the reins for a bit and continue working behind the scenes while we rested. (The surprising thing about small weddings is that they are just as much work to plan as a large wedding, even if they come in a smaller package. COVID complicates this many times over, too.)
Her work ethic is second to none, and her people skills are incredible. When vendors didn’t communicate quickly enough, Stephanie made sure to follow up, oh-so-politely. When we had trouble booking one caterer, she had three different options for us in her back pocket. Stephanie gently guided us when we needed things like a makeup artist, or signs, or market lighting diagrams, and she was always there to offer her help and expertise when we had questions. When things went wrong (because no matter how hard you work to get it right, there are so many moving pieces that it's inevitable), she handled them, and let us know after the fact when it wouldn’t be as stressful. She is so proactive and organized that we didn’t even know there had been last-minute rolling blackouts on the day of the wedding, until after they were over. It was a dream walking into our venue that day—Steph and I had put so much work into finding the perfect linens, table settings, and decor, and her team absolutely nailed it. She also did a great job helping us brainstorm and execute some creative social distancing and hygiene measures to keep everyone safe--a necessity when you have a 94-year-old grandmother. Not only is she an amazing planner and coordinator, but we have made a friend for life, as Stephanie is vivacious and positive, shares our love of Tahoe and the outdoors, and is so much fun to be around.
Thank you, Stephanie, for helping us plan an incredible wedding in two months. We know you put in countless hours and probably lost some sleep, but it was so much sweeter than the pre-pandemic wedding we had thought we would have. To all of you planning a wedding, and especially now amidst a pandemic, I highly recommend booking Stephanie Marie & Co. to help make your wedding journey a success, and one that you will love and cherish forever! I listened to several wedding planning podcasts, and each one heeded the sage advice to just book yourselves a planner! Our friends were working with Stephanie to plan their own wedding and personally recommended her with high praises. We shopped around a bit, and Stephanie was definitely the most responsive, affordable, and she impressed us from the start! We decided to book her for the full planning package because we knew we would need lots of support, and thank goodness we did! Our personal wedding ideas were all over the place from a tiny Lake Tahoe Elopement to a huge wine country wedding, and then eventually back to a small elopement at my family's lavender farm. Stephanie helped us throughout the entire process with tools and questions to narrow down our vision and get to the root of what our actual priorities and dreams were. She helped us create a realistic budget, and of course, kept everything on time, and strategic when working with vendors. She absolutely had our backs by reviewing all vendor contracts with a keen eye for clauses and details that were not in our favor and helped us successfully navigate cancellations with full refunds once we had to change everything due to COVID. She happily made trips down from Tahoe to the Bay Area to help us with site visits, shop rentals, and do wine and food tastings. My family got to meet Stephanie in person during a site visit and they were immediately comfortable working with her and relieved to have her by our side. Have you heard of Wonder woman? Yeah that's Stephanie!
She helped plan my Santa Cruz wedding both remotely and onsite whenever I requested her to be present. She was super easy to talk to, very flexible, and always made time for me.
The thing is, I thought I had everything under control. But I didn't realize how badly I needed someone with industry experience to make the magic happen! She saved me over $3000, brought additional decor that matched my aesthetic, negotiated with vendors and literally made sure I got everything that I wanted. She was so professional and friendly that all of my other vendors loved her! Her attention to detail is also impeccable- she thought of everything.
She was super flexible and always had an alternative or solution, and I didn't have a single worry or care on the big day. She even coordinated some assistance from our wedding guests (it was a weekend long wedding) so that everything went smoothly. She's ridiculously resourceful and helpful - I am eternally grateful for the incredible service she provided, as well as her "can do, WILL do" attitude that seriously made the magic happen. I can't recommend her enough! -

Stephanie was absolutely wonderful to work with - she is upbeat, thoughtful, proactive, organized, and overall just a really sweet person! She is a true professional and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect! She stepped into our planning process seamlessly, and even came in a bit earlier than she normally would in order to help us with some tricky vendor transitions - ensuring that we were able to get the price that we had initially promised even though it was a verbal agreement from the vendor. She helped us document and update our contracts, truly saving us from what could have been a financial nightmare. Throughout the process, Stephanie was very responsive and always anticipated what was needed. She helped me take my ideas to the next level and executed them perfectly! She was super accommodating and always willing to help in any way she could (ie: letting me ship things to her, checking out venues when I couldn't make it to Tahoe, offering to handle the guest gift bags, etc). Even after the big day, she helped us review some of our final bills and give us advice on how to handle certain scenarios where were overcharged.
Stephanie is incredibly organized and detail-oriented. She really good at both seeing the holistic vision of the couple and she very involved in the details to make everything come to life. The couple weeks leading up to the wedding, I was very confident and at ease that everything was under control and thoroughly thought through - allowing me to really enjoy the weekend knowing everything was being handled from start to finish. Stephanie is my QUEEN! I literally said that at least 20 times throughout my wedding weekend. It is honestly hard to put in words my experience working with her as my planner, but I will do my best, as I want others to know how amazing she is.
I connected with Stephanie about nine months out from my 6/1/2019 wedding and decided to go with her full service planning package. I thought that for the most part, we would just need month-of, but I knew that it would be helpful to have her guidance along the way, and the pricing of her packages was so competitive. I could not be happier that we chose her as our planner and that we went with her Love at First Sight package. While I am positive that Stephanie is fantastic and worth more than every penny for her partial coordination package, her guidance and expertise were completely invaluable to us during the process of planning our wedding; having her guidance also saved us from what I imagine would have been stress between us as a couple—trying to make decisions about things we really had no knowledge of and not knowing what is a “normal” amount of money to spend on things. My now husband and I are both very organized and on top of things, but Stephanie helped us to elevate our wedding from what I am sure would have been a great wedding, to what was our picture perfect dream wedding, and all within our budget (which I should add, was fairly modest).
The things I think I appreciate most about Stephanie are 1) just her general approach to her work and approach with her couples and their families, 2) her professionalism and effectiveness in working with other vendors (and for us, particularly our venue), 3) her mindfulness when it comes to supporting a couple’s vision/helping them develop a vision and making savvy decisions when it comes to budget, and 4) simply put, her flawless execution.
Around the time we contracted with Stephanie, we ran into an issue with our venue, wherein the initial amount we were quoted for our wedding was off by about $6,000. The venue coordinator who made the error was no longer with the site, and the situation could have easily been a huge headache or big financial loss for us. Stephanie navigated the situation with the site and managed to help us gain back the majority of the difference in value from the venue. The venue made many concessions that I am sure they would not have had they just been communicating with us, and that was all Stephanie. It should be noted that Stephanie dealt with three different on site coordinators at our venue (one that came on within the last month after the second person quit), and she did so seamlessly.
Stephanie helped us find and contract with a team of vendors that were absolutely fantastic. We had chosen our photographers in advance of working with her, but everyone else we found, we found because of Stephanie. We got an incredible value for the service cost with our vendors. I could go on and on about our vendors, as they were all flawless, but I want to keep my focus here on Stephanie. I should also note that Stephanie also helped us find a place to do a Welcome Dinner prior to the wedding, and that was also a complete bargain and absolutely wonderful experience; we never would have found the spot without her. It is clear that Stephanie has great relationships with vendors, and we saw many benefits (e.g., willingness to work below normal minimum, inventory that would normally be at a cost included for free (including from her own inventory), flexibility in execution of things, etc.) as a result of the genuine relationships she has. We could not have been more thrilled with the overall aesthetic and feel of our day.
I think the best thing about my experience with Stephanie, is that working with her really and truly allowed me to be 100% present for and completely enjoy my wedding day. I have talked to so many people where that just isn’t the case, and I know that she did that for us. I felt so comfortable with her and her navigation of things, that I knew I had nothing to worry about and that, if anything came up, she would handle it. She ran errands for us; she brought s’mores kits for us after I abandoned and then decided to revisit my desire to have s’mores for our after party; she let me send things from Amazon to her and then brought them to our site. We had a concern about rain during our outdoor reception, and Stephanie managed to work with the venue to get them to set up an alternative indoor location just in case, free of charge (totally not normal). When it did start to rain during our reception (but not to the point that we had to move everything inside), Stephanie was saving cupcakes with umbrellas, on her hands and knees drying off our dance floor, etc. etc.. She was at the venue cleaning and getting things in order until maybe midnight (I don’t know exactly because I was enjoying my night!). She saved me from so much stress and anxiety, and her relaxed and bright personality really actually enhanced my experience day-of. In the end, I could not have had a better day.
In sum, I could not have better things to say about Stephanie. My family and friends (who all got to meet and interact with her throughout the weekend) also could not have better things to say about Stephanie. She is easy to work with, incredibly knowledgeable, works within your vision and budget, executes flawlessly, and is just generally a great person. She made the dream wedding I didn’t even know was possible happen. If I planned to get married twice, I’d do it with her as my planner! Do yourself a favor and book Stephanie Marie & Co!

Stephanie was wonderful! Our wedding day ran nearly flawlessly, and I can guarantee that is in large part due to Stephanie's behind-the-scenes work. She kept everything running on time, always appeared when you needed something, and helped out for any need. The morning of the wedding we realized we'd accidentally given her the champagne flutes we were going to use for getting ready when we gave her the rest of the wedding decor the night before, and she happily offered to run them over to the hotel for us, which saved us the stress of a last minute errand. Definitely recommend her! -
Adam Sent on 10/09/2018When we set out to plan our wedding my wife and I had a rule for all our vendors. If we couldn’t see ourselves as friends with our vendors then we didn’t want to work with them. Stephanie passed this test.
After a few conversations with us Stephanie had a pretty good sense of who we were and what we wanted on our big day. Stephanie was passionate and committed to providing us with an amazing experience. She was detailed oriented and very responsive no matter how we were communicating with her – text, group chat, email, phone calls.
Beyond being our wedding planner Stephanie was also our wedding coach and therapist. In every instance where making decisions about flowers, guest lists, food, and everything else that goes into planning a wedding got the best of me and my wife, Stephanie was there to relieve tensions and restore order.
Being on the East Coast and not being able to come out to Lake Tahoe until our wedding was one of the most stressful aspects of the wedding. We made every decision without the benefit of being in the Lake Tahoe area which was stressful. This was tough and it was invaluable to have Stephanie as our eyes and ears on the ground. She always had our best interests at heart.
She constantly went beyond what I would consider wedding planner duties to make sure we had everything we wanted. She was open, honest and provided great feedback when we. No matter what was going on Stephanie was always upbeat, positive and a joy to talk to and be around.

She is amazing at what she does - always has good recommendations and ideas for every facet of the wedding. Not only is she good at what she does, I feel that she is actually cares about me being happy (which is a huge plus)!
I'll note a few things I really liked about Stephanie....I LOVE how quick she responds back to calls and emails. This is super important to me, as wedding planning is crazy! I absolutely loved her detailed work... from feedback to planning guides.... everything about her service is extremely comprehensive. I appreciate that she knows Tahoe really well (it helps when you are out of state). Lastly, all of this for an exceptional price. I compared a bunch of different planners and associated rates, and Stephanie's was the best.
