Great experience!

Stephanie did our engagement session and our wedding photos. We love her style, and she was super laid back and easy to get along with. She has a creative eye and really made us look our best! She was flexible and professional. Highly recommend as a wedding photographer! Thank you, Stephanie!

Trustworthy, experienced photographer provides beautiful lifelong images

I can't believe I am just now getting around to writing a review about Stephanie. She is AH-MAZING! Our wedding was last November and I couldn't be happier with our pictures. We actually won an engagement session with Stephanie back in 2015 and she gave us the same treatment she would have with a paying customer. Stephanie is a very kind, warm hearted person with a very talented eye. We were so happy with our engagement picture results that we KNEW we had to have Stephanie as our wedding photographer. She takes the time to get to know you and really understand your wedding day vision. She was very knowledgeable about the right time to take photos. For example, she reminded us that with a fall wedding date, it would get dark early, which helped us create our timeline. I had full faith in her photography and direction and didn't have to worry about a single thing on the day of. She took charge of situations (like my brother running late to photographs, and an antsy shuttle driver) and stuck to our family portrait list to keep us on track! I am so happy we chose Stephanie and have the beautiful images we do today to remind us of our most memorable day. As a graphic designer I have a keen eye to quality images, and the way Stephanie uses natural light is amazing. I've had two friends now use Stephanie for family photos or children's birthday parties because they know her results are great and returned within a reasonable amount of time. I'm sure we'll have more images from Stephanie in the years to come! I literally could go on, and on, and on about her. You will be very happy with the talent, knowledge, flexibility, and love that Stephanie provides in her work.

Incredible!

Stephanie is absolutely amazing at what she does. She takes the appropriate time to get to know her clients and captures personalities perfectly. Stephanie is patient with large wedding parties and group photos. Her photos are super high quality with an amazing bright color, and crisp details. We are absolutely thrilled with our wedding photos and have recommended Stephanie to multiple friends & family members.

Couldn’t have been better!

Stephanie was referred to me for a last minute courthouse wedding, and I’m so thankful she was! She made the entire process so easy, and was the definition of grace under fire when things became hectic. The photos turned out so well, and we couldn’t be happier.

Worth it for beautiful, natural pictures

Stephanie was found by friends after some recommendations- we had a small non-traditional ceremony that had a somewhat loose schedule and she was so accommodating considering this. We then went to the State House for pics and the way the pics are composed you would never know that's where we took the pics. She was easy to work with and me and my husband actually enjoyed taking the pics (which we don't normally do) she gave great direction that was easy to execute and everyone says the pics are beautiful and most importantly natural! Also as a black person with darker skin she did an amazing job! Worth the money for an Hr session!

Stephanie is truly the BEST photographer! She was my sister photographer for her wedding and I fell in love with the pictures so I knew I wanted her to be mine at my wedding! I had a great experience during both our engagement photos and wedding photos! She is so nice, caring and was always available when needed! Stephanie made my wedding day go by so smoothly as she is so organized and knows all the poses to do without us having to suggest any! I would definitely recommend her!! We can't thank her enough for capturing our special day!!

I don't even know where to start when it comes to Stephanie. We were completely WOWED by her and the quality of the pictures and service that we received. I was a Bride that wanted answers right when I had them and Stephanie always quickly responded to my emails with detailed answers to my many questions. We first did the engagement session that came with our package and we were in love with all of the pictures. This was both my husband and I's first time really doing something like this so we were nervous. Stephanie did a great job at making us not feel awkward :) Leading up to the wedding Stephanie met with me when I needed and we planned out a whole timeline of how the wedding day would go. She made sure this timeline was up to me and that it included all the detail I wanted for my day. On our actual wedding day we got caught in a storm outside the statehouse and I was freaking out that we got so behind schedule but she was calm and made me know it was going to be ok. Once we got through the storm and back into the statehouse everything went smoothly from there! She made sure I had all the pictures I wanted and assured me that everything would be fine. We received our wedding pictures so quickly and we were happy with every single one of them!! Stephanie even met up with me to give me my pictures in person because I preferred that over having them sent in the mail. My husband and I will definitely be using Stephanie in the future when we have a family and need more portraits! Her beautiful pictures and her kindness is amazing we feel very lucky that we found her and were able to have her be a part of our wedding day!

Not only did she do my wedding but my brothers' wedding as well! She was such a joy to work with! We had so much fun with her and the pictures turned out better than I dreamed they ever could! She captured everything and more for our special day! Having her as my photographer was the best decision and I would do it all over again!!

From our first meeting with Stephanie to after the wedding, it was an absolute pleasure. She is so organized and has a brilliant artistic eye that we love. Our engagement photos were amazing and she was so fun to work with. She gave really good pointers to us when we didn't know what to do with our hands or posture - this was a big help for us! The wedding day she was so organized and ready to role while I was so scatter brained, she kept me calm and made sure all the pictures we talked about would be taken without me thinking about them. She went to great lengths to get a few unique shots and handled all the situations I didn't want to :) Thanks again!!! And of course the photos are AMAZING. A pointer to brides: if you go in Pinterest and pick out what kind of group photos you want, she'll be able to give that to you! I didn't take the time to do that, and there are a few pictures I wish I would have discussed with her ahead of time, my fault!

Throughout the entire 9 months of wedding planning, she kept very good communication with my husband and I. The only small little thing that could be a room for improvement would be in emails to 'reply all'. My husband and I worked together on almost everything for the wedding , including communications via email with our vendors because we were planning a Columbus wedding from Cleveland. Sometimes the emails were only sent to one of us. It wasn't that big of a deal, we are engineers so we have our email quirks :)

If I ever want to hire a photographer again, she'll be my first call! She is truly amazing!

I was so worried about pictures being a pregnant bride. Not only did she make me feel comfortable but the pictures turned out amazing.

Stephanie was absolutely wonderful for us on our wedding day (and our engagement photos!). Prior to our wedding day, she made sure that everything would be what we wanted in terms of what photos we wanted taken, the locations and the timing of events. During our wedding day everything was perfect. She was so easy to work with and we all had a blast taking the pictures and enjoying the day. Last but not least, she turned around the finished pictures so quickly and they look amazing!

All in all I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! Thanks again Stephanie!

Stephanie was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was very professional but also blended seamlessly into our wedding party, she kept us on schedule without ever making us feel rushed. She was also always very easy to get in touch with through every part of the process, which is not true of all wedding vendors. She also was great at providing suggestions for locations. And her photos are absolutely stunning. The attention she pays to detail, lighting, everything is amazing The engagement photos she took for us last summer were gorgeous as well. Stephanie was the photographer at our wedding this past Memorial Day. All of the pictures were incredible and Stephanie was really easy to work with. Personally, I find myself to be really stiff when taking pictures but Stephanie gave great direction and made the whole experience both easy and fun. We have 1,000+ amazing photos from our wedding and my wife and I could not be more happy with Stephanie's work. She was a joy to work with and I would recommend her services to anyone looking for a photographer for their special day!

Stephanie Barnes was the photographer for my wedding in November. She helped me think of every detail ahead of time so that on the day of, I could enjoy the day and know that everything was taken care of. The photos turned out AMAZING and I could not have asked for better. With a large family, we wanted a large variety of shots without it taking hours and Stephanie made that possible. Stephanie was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding! She was very organized and detail oriented throughout the planning process of our wedding which made everything so easy.
She was cool, calm, and collected during the wedding day (even though she was due any day!!) and helped us feel at ease throughout our wedding day. We were so pleased with her photos and she even posted sneak peaks the day right after our wedding!

Stephanie is amazing to work with. She is really friendly and makes you feel comfortable right away. I was expecting to have a handful of really great photos after my wedding, but we have hundreds! Some of my family members have commented on how photogenic I am after seeing our wedding photos, and I assure you that's all credit to Stephanie! All her shots are great, but her bridal portraits are perfection. I don't normally write reviews, but Stephanie was well worth every dollar we spent and I would recommend her to everyone. We honestly couldn't have picked a better photographer to capture our wedding day.

Stephanie puts time and thought into every picture. She has a real eye for backgrounds and angles. My favorite pictures have backgrounds that she noticed when we were out at other locations. Things I never would have thought of and they are great!
Stephanie got pictures of everything. The party favors, the cake, the guest book, the card box, centerpieces, programs, ….everything. To be honest I don’t know how she had time to take all these pictures.
I found Stephanie online by her photos and recommendations. Her pictures speak for themselves and all her reviews were great. What you are not able to read or see is the type of person she is. She cares about her clients and making sure she captures their wedding day. If you are looking for a photographer I couldn’t imagine being able to recommend anyone better than Stephanie.

Stephanie Barnes was the photographer for my daughters wedding. Stephanie was very professional, and had a very calming demeanor. She and her husband were a joy to work with. Stephanie's attention to every detail of my daughters wedding amazed me. She took her time with every shot, and probably has one of the best "eyes" for photography that I have ever seen. I was completely overwhelmed when I saw the wedding photos. They were absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend Stephanie Barnes photography, and plan on using her again.

Choosing a photographer for your wedding is not an easy task. Everyone expects their photos to look a certain way on their wedding day and finding someone that not only understands your vision but is capable of capturing that vision can be tricky. I can assure you Stephanie is a great choice. She is creative, detail oriented and most importantly can make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, which was especially hard for myself and my fiancé. Once I received my photos I was speechless. They are beautiful and I feel she really captured our personalities. I would definitely recommend Stephanie and would absolutely work with her again if I had to do it all over!

My wedding was a little over a week ago on September 28th and Stephanie was our photographer. She was such a blessing for us with her professionalism and positive attitude. My wife was very worried about the schedule of events for our wedding and with Stephanie's help things went so smoothly. She really helped make our special day even better and our pictures have turned out amazing! I would definitely recommend Stephanie to any couples looking for a fantastic photographer.

Stephanie is so sweet and easy to talk to. She helped me pick the best locations for my engagement shoot and my wedding day portraits, as well as work out my timeline. All of the pictures turned out amazing, despite the freezing temps both days.

Stephanie was so great to work with! We knew from the time we met her for the engagement session that we had made a great decision! She is so easy to get ahold of and quick to respond to e-mails. She also sends ideas/suggestions for attire, location ideas, etc. We got our pictures back very quickly after the wedding and they were GORGEOUS! My family and friends have just raved at what a great job she did! Her prices are very reasonable and so much fun! I will certainly be calling on her if I have any photography needs in the future!

Friendship aside, Stephanie is probably the sweetest person I know. She works very hard around the clock to make sure that her photography is the best! Stephanie did our engagement pictures, our wedding pictures, and my boudoir pictures. She is worth every penny plus some! The portraits she took are my favorite. I know her art is something that my husband and I will cherish and something that our future children will enjoy too.
Very friendly, quick to respond, easy to work with, amazing photos, worth every penny!

Stephanie was so wonderful to work with. Our photos are amazing and she put a lot of special thought and attention into helping us plan out day. She worked wonderful with the other vendors to help capture all the special moments for the day. Her style is fantastic and we received many compliments on her work. Definitely recommend! Absolute disappointment and not what we expected.

We originally chose Stephanie because of all of the great reviews online and we should have cancelled our wedding photos with her after our engagement session. There are alot of images we wanted captured that are missing on our edited disk, people's heads cut off from the bridal party or off centered images, not one single picture of our wedding cake - just a partial image with the cake cutting, she was late arriving at the church, and there was absolutely no energy with the bridal party and everyone was frustrated. On more than one occasion the words "there isn't enough time" were said. After having to reach out to her on the status of our photos, there was a comment that said "if it makes you feel any better the pictures turned out the same as any other wedding day and looked great" - ours don't look like the ones we saw on the website.
Overall, we are extremely disappointed. Out of every vendor we worked with, this one was the most frustrating and disappointing. We have no idea how everyone else received such a wonderful experience when ours was a jumbled mess :(
