Found the dress I love and had it customized to fit my need. It came out beautiful. It was a big hit at my wedding. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Stella helped me get the dress of my dreams at an affordable price. I went elsewhere first and they would not work with me at all. I went to Stella's and they worked with me and treated me like family. My dress was VERY difficult to alter and they did If all by hand and spent countless hours making it look perfect. Stella was amazing and helped me every step of the way. I found my perfect dress and it looked amazing. I also purchased my shoes from here and stella dyed them to my perfection. They were super friendly and helpful and I plan on making all of my formal purchases from this location!

My bridesmaids and I had a great experience at Stella Maris Bridal Boutique and I would highly suggest stopping in to check out their vast selection of bridesmaids dresses! The staff was extremely friendly and courteous with lots of knowledge to help me pinpoint the exact look I was going for on my big day. My bridesmaids were very happy with their dresses

I had a great experience at Stellas and I will definitely be using them again in the future. My dress was beautiful and the wonderful ladies treated me like family. They are very sweet and they work with you from day 1.

Stella gave me a great deal on my dress and she was extremely helpful and honest. At other bridal shops I had visited, the women never even introduced themselves and were not very personable. The seamstress was so nice and she was very accommodating when I kept making changes to my dress. The sales people were very honest about ordering time frames, what alterations were possible, what would look good, and prices.

First stop was Davids bridal, I was unhappy with the way the dresses fit and looked. Stellas was wonderful, great prices and very friendly. I loved my dress!! Stella discounted so many things for me and my family. Dolla was perfect to work with too. I really trusted their opinions. My dress fit like a glove, no alterations needed. Would recommend Stellas, way better the Davids!

The best bridal boutique on the east coast. Stella and her staff are wonderful to work with! They are one of the finest tailors, I have ever done business with. The dress's were absouletly jaw dropping and were made with good quality materials. I would recommend this boutique to all brides and bridal parties!

The staff at Stella Maris is phenomenal. My whole wedding party got their tuxs/dresses from there. They are very easy to work with and Lala was amazing in altering my dress for me!

Stella and her team are outstanding. I walked in and had an idea of what I wanted, but Stella helped me to realize what was really going to work for me. My dress is timeless, classic and elegant and I am so thrilled that she was there to help me through the entire process. It fit like a glove on my wedding day and I truly could not have been happier! We used Stella Maris for our bridesmaid dresses. They were the only location in the area for the dresses that we wanted, and I am glad, because they were wonderful. We had absolutely no issues with them at all. They didn't pressure us to use them for alterations - which was wonderful. My only complaint is that I wish I had gone there to look for my gown as well!

To all excited brides, this is the place to go for one stop wedding attire. I was able to by my gown, nine bridesmaids gowns, one maid of honor and two flower girls gowns all in one place! This made my life alot easier during the wedding planning. Our gowns turned out lovely and everyone noticed that they were all from the same Designer, which stood out.

The prices at Stella Maris fits all budgets and they have gowns to fit all blushing brides. By the way, they have mother of the bride dresses that will turn all heads. To go one step further, Stella even rents Tuxedos! So, this is a "one stop shop"

The alterations were all done in a timely manner and "Becky" worked on my gown until it was perfect! I was lucky as I continued to loose weight for my big day, but that didn't stop the intricate work that went into the alteration of my gown.

Please don't be intimidated by the term "Boutique" Stella will work with you to make your wedding day a success.

They make you feel important and do not pressure or rush you. Nice little place! Many of my friends have found great dresses there.

I tried on a million dresses.
My first stop was David's Bridal, just so I could get a feel of the style I wanted. But, they all just seemed so plain.
Then I went to a couple places in Philadelphia and was just bummed.
I went to Stella Maris on a busy Saturday morning and tried on about 5 dresses in the style I wanted.
Then, the sales associate really looked my up and down and said, "I have a couple I want you to try." Don't judge. I said yes and was torn between two dresses. But, I felt pressured to buy that day because I could get it off the rack. After flipping them on and off a couple times I closed my eyes and imagined myself on my wedding.... BAM... the allure dress it was.
The alterations were reasonable and they had a pretty decent selection of jewelry and tiara type things.
Check it out, you won't be sorry.

This wedding shop was so nice and the ladies there treated me like I was their own daughter. I was just bummed out that they didnt have a website so I could show my dress to my friends over email.

Great boutique. Sometimes you have to put your foot down especially during the prom season but overall I was pleased with their services and attention. They have a great selection of dresses and awesome prices. They did a very nice job on alterations too. I would recommend it to anyone.

For the no nonsense bride, here is your chance to score big. All samples, never been worn, and once worn dress. My dress was perfect, and you would have thought I got it at Kleinfelds. Stella Maris is every girls best kept secret :-)

I had the alterations for my bridal gown done here, and we also purchased the bridesmaid dresses and mother of the groom dress here.

I had special requests for my alterations, and they did an amazing job. My dress looked great and fit well (strapless dress - did not fall down at all through my entire day). They were a little pricey ($260 just for a bustle, taking the top in a little, changing my ribbon, and steaming), but it was well worth it.

The dresses that were purchased here came in quickly, and Stella Maris was able to do all of the alterations for the bridesmaid dresses in a timely manner. (They were even able to do my maid of honor's, when she wasn't in the area until a week before the wedding, and my sister-in-law, who had a growing pregnant belly to accomodate.)

If you are looking for a small "boutique" feel but with full service and terrific selection, Stella Maris is the place! The staff is extremely attentive and professional, and they have thousands of dresses (bridal, formal wear, mother of bride, and more) to choose from. All alterations are done on-site, so you can be confident that they will be done right. Stella personally oversees every dress that is altered and purchased. Great experience...and they even worked on a tight time frame for me in the middle of prom season!

I have been a bridesmaid and had to buy dresses from Stella's for three of my friends' weddings. As a Bride this time I SWORE I would never step foot into Stella's because I can't stand how pushy and rude Stella is. We had a bad experience at another salon and with time crunching down I decided to head to Stella's because I was familiar with their time and selection. Without a doubt, Stella's has a HUGE selection of bridesmaid dresses and a large salon that was very accommodating to my large bridal party. Stella pushes you to order your dresses big so she can make money off the alterations -- I can't tell you how many times I heard her say "this designer runs small"! We made it through and ordered our dresses. They came in the time frame as predicted and everyone was happy with their dress. I can't stand Stella's attitude but she does run a clean, reliable salon.

Overall experience was not that great. If you are looking for a bridal experience, go somewhere else. There is no room in the store, and you just can't enjoy the overall experience you see women have on TV while trying on dresses. Prices are a good deal, but I would never get any alterations done there. Order your dress and pay someone else to fix it if needed. I paid an arm and a leg to get my dress bustled( 5 bustles needed) only for 4 of the bustles to completely break off my dress! My dress was not pressed as they had claimed they did. Another issue I had was regarding language. I think it's very disrespectful while you're working with clients to start speaking another language, other than English in front of them. Just goes to wonder, if you need to speak another language, what are you really saying???

I had an okay experience with Stella Maris Bridal. We got both my dress and the bridemaids dresses here. The first time I went and I found my dress they were really great to work with and they were very accommodating when it came to setting up appointments for my dress and the bridesmaids dresses. They have a lot of dresses and their prices seemed reasonable. We had some problems with some of the bridemaids dresses and they had to be sent back. I thought that they would give us a break on the cost or alterations for having to wait until last minute to get the replacements dresses, but they didn't. We wound up buying 10 dresses through Stella and potentially 3 more with the mothers & the 12 guys tuxes. Although they did a price match because we found the dresses cheaper somewhere else they didn't really give us much more of a discount for spending so much there total as a heard other places do. Overall, I would probably not recommend this vendor.

I was very dissatisfied with my service at Stella Maris. At first, I found my dress and was able to buy it off the rack at a deep discount, which was exciting. It was already a perfect fit except for the length. I came back for the hem 3 months before my wedding. Now, the dress had scalloped lace on the bottom so it had to be brought up at the waist. However, it took FOUR fittings just to get the length correct! I stood there and was measured wearing the same shoes four different times before the dress was finally the correct length-- TWO DAYS before my wedding! On my third fitting, the skirt of the dress was skewed about 2 inches sideways. I don't understand how it took a professional seamstress that long to fix the length-- the length ONLY-- of a wedding dress. I will not recommend or patronize Stella Maris again. If you find a dress here at a good price, buy it and take it somewhere else to have your alterations done!

Seems like Stella's habit of ordering dresses too big is a trend. All bridesmaid dresses ordered through them came WAY too big. So big that it cost every girl $75-100 for alterations. We got the dresses on the cheaper end of the spectrum, but this COMPLETELY cancelled it out. They were never responsive and when they were they were rude when we approached them about their obvious mistakes.

To Brides: Our bride had an appointment to go pick up her dress set MONTHS before she went to go get it a few days before the wedding. They told her they would be closed during her scheduled appt day and she needed to come THE DAY before her wedding.

I would not go here again and will plan on avoiding for my wedding as a bride.

I would have given them 5 stars. They were incredible and treated me like family UNTIL...they ordered my mom's dress about 6 sizes too big. When the dress came 16 days before my wedding the seamstress told my mom that she CANNOT fix the dress. So my mom tried on another dress that the seamstress said she also CANNOT fix. The owner wasn't there and the seamstress just didn't want to do the work. My mom was forced to buy a dress somewhere else. When the owner found out, she was going to make my mom pay for the dress ($500). The seamstress lied to her and told her that my mom didn't like the dress NOT that the seamstress told my mom she COULDN't fix it. When I had to talk to the owner about how her seamstress is lying to her. I asked her not to tell her just yet b/c I was afraid of her doing something to my dress. I tried my dress on 7 days before my wedding with my shoes (that I bought and left at the store) and it was perfect! I picked it up 6 days later and asked if I should try it on and was told no bc I just had it on and it was perfect so no alterations were needed. I put my wedding dress on the morning of my wedding, it was 2 inches too long, strings were everywhere, you could see the hem line was torn, and there was a stain on it. Needless to say, I was so upset but wouldn't let it bother me. All night long I was either tripping on it or holding it up to prevent tripping on it. When I called Stella's to tell them that my dress was messed with, they could care less. I pointed out that she has caught her seamstress lying to her about my mom's dress and why wouldn't she be lying now. My dress was absolutely altered after I had it on and Stella's didn't say or do anything about it. They are rude, disrepectful, never take fault and just blame everyone else, sneaky, and just so disappointing....

I went there for a bridesmaid dress. I thought they were nice, but they ordered me a size that was 4 sizes too big. I told them that this was a rediculous size and they told me that 1) if I have them order a smaller one and it doesn t fit, I have to pay for another dress and 2) that the dress runs super small. The dress was enormous. I wound up going onto eBay and buying one my size for half the price. Now I m stuck with the original. Plus, there were 8 brides maids and they tried to push all of them into ordering at least one size too big. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM.
