Gorgeous fresh flowers

The flowers for my wedding came out absolutely gorgeous!!! Josh was so helpful and made the process so painless. I’m not one to know much about flowers and I left it in his hands. Great Wedding Florist

We were so happy working with Arlene for our wedding at the boathouse in central park. The prices were reasonable and they worked with my budget compared to other florists I spoke with. Day of everything looked beautiful and arrived on time. I was so happy and will definitely recommend them and work with them again!

Danae from Stefan's was absolutely amazing!! I am not an artistic person at all, so I sent her a few pictures and basically put all of my trust in her that she would understand my vision. She exceeded my expectations by far!! When I walked into the ceremony and saw my chuppah, I was immediately in awe and could not stop smiling. She also hung flowers from the ceiling and it really felt like we were in a garden. I would use her again in a heartbeat, and I am so glad that I trusted her!

We worked with Stefan's for my wedding on 12/16/17 and we could not be happier! We met with Josh and he was very easy to talk to and understood my vision quickly. Josh created sample centerpieces before we even booked him, and they were just perfect. The whole process was very easy with him. My chuppah was beautiful and the ballroom was magnificent. I got so many compliments on the flowers, I was so sad when we had to take them apart at the end of the night. Josh was there all day to help set up, and he even put all the boutonnieres on the boys before photos. Everything was perfect!!!!!!!! Thank you Josh!

The Central Park Boathouse was the perfect setting for my NYC born and raised daughter's wedding this summer. Arlene at Stefan's Florist helped complete the fairytale magic with beautiful, understated but elegant floral arrangements. Everyone was admiring them. The chuppah she created was exquisite, perfectly integrating our hand knit heirloom chuppah cover with branches and beautiful flowers. My daughter and her husband met with Arlene and told her what they wanted and she listened and delivered. They envisioned candles on the tables and aisles and lights on the terrace, high and low centerpieces mixed with orchids, white and peach blush blooms and hydrangeas, Mason jars and lots of branches. She worked with her team at her LI warehouse to create sample arrangements and invited us to see them. Then made the changes my daughter requested . The bouquets were perfect and the flower girl was entranced with her basket. I appreciated that Arlene worked within my budget, using seasonal flowers and having staff move arrangements from the terrace to the ceremony aisles and then into the dining room to make the most use of many of them. Arlene was a pleasure to work with and her staff very professional, Without hesitation, I would recommend Arlene and Stefan's Florist to anyone having a celebration.

We used Stefan's for our wedding at the Royalton at Lawrence Yacht and Country club and it truly was amazing! I had met with Danae a few times before the wedding, and she really understood my vision and made it come to life! The wedding was set for outside and almost an hour before, the weather turned for the worst. The team somehow moved the chuppah inside, and not only did they do this quickly, but it looked unbelievable!! It was gorgeous! This chuppah was better than I could have imagined! The flowers on each table at the party were incredible. We worked with Danae on 3 different arrangements, as well as ordered tablecloths that matched each arrangement and made the room come to life. We also added purple lighting to give the room a beautiful hue and make it truly special. Everything was executed flawlessly and people are still asking me who did our flowers, and how unique they looked. You must use Stefan's for your next event!

We worked with Arlene for our 2016 wedding and had a fantastic experience. From our first meeting, Arlene was a total pro. I came with a few ideas and images in mind, and the finished product exactly matched my original vision. Not only did our centerpieces and bouquets turn out exactly as I had hoped they would, Arlene was familiar with our venue and made several suggestions for additional arrangements that I never would have thought of myself, that were well within our budget and really pulled the whole thing together. She was extremely responsive over email ahead of time, and particularly so on the day of our wedding--which coincidentally happened to be the day before her own son's wedding. If she hadn't mentioned that herself, I never would have guessed, given the level of service she provided. Overall, I couldn't have been happier with Arlene's professionalism, the finished products, or the price.

Chris and Josh gave us absolutely beautiful flowers for our wedding. Their creativity and attention to detail was showcased in all of the arrangements, from the table arrangements, to the bridal bouquets and flower girl crowns. The chuppah and all of the flawless execution of the ceremony space decorations were more perfect than we could have asked for. We truly appreciated the level of service they have shown to us and our family over the decades of our relationship with this excellent company. I am still in awe of the beautiful decor that was created for my wedding day by Stefan's florist! Chris and Josh are amazingly talented and accommodating, and created the most beautiful vision for me. I had no idea of what I wanted, told them my colors, and they did the rest, and I was blown away. When I went to see the samples of the centerpieces I fell in love with them, couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful, and then when I saw them on my wedding day, somehow the flowers were even bigger and more beautiful!! The outdoor ceremony decor was out of this world, the arch was amazing, and made an already beautiful outdoor ceremony site even more gorgeous. The bouquets and bouteneire were also gorgeous, the flowers were so big, the bouquets so full. They did not miss a detail. Josh was so organized, answered all my emails, and was awesome to work with. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants amazing flowers for their wedding day! Thank you Chris and Josh for creating the most beautiful wedding decor I could have ever dreamed up!

Our flowers were perfect! Every bouquet and boutonniere was exactly what I wanted and bigger! The colors were exactly how I described and everything was fresh and beautiful. The centerpieces were a huge WOW. They were full and lush, bright and vibrant. Jimmy was a pleasure to deal with and definitely worked hard to give us exactly what we (I) envisioned. Jimmy Stefan provided the flowers for my daughter's June 21, 2014 wedding at the Sands Atlantic Beach. Jimmy is a creative genius. He designed centerpieces for the tables that were works of art. The bridal and bridesmaids' bouquets were exquisite. The chuppah, the marital altar, on the beach was breathtaking. Four months later, Jimmy provided the flowers at my son's wedding at the Swan Club. Here too, Jimmy was fantastic. The chuppah, centerpieces, bridal and bridesmaid bouquets were gorgeous. The colors and styles of the arrangements were different at each of my children's weddings. Jimmy listened carefully to my daughter's and daughter-in-law's wishes and created magnificent arrangements that were more glorious than they had imagined.

Stefans was INCREDIBLE! We worked with Joanna and she was unbelievable! From our first meeting, she was so helpful in creating what I was envisioning for my wedding. Her creativity and artistic talent is obvious. The flowers at our wedding were just perfect. From the display in the lobby, to the chuppah, the bridesmaid bouquets to the ballroom centerpieces, I could not believe what an amazing job Joanna had done. She not only texted me pictures throughout the process to make sure I was happy, but she came to the venue that day to make sure everything was going just right. We worked with Josh for our our wedding. He is a creative, friendly and his love for what he does shines through. Josh helped us make our ideas come alive into a vision of beauty. Josh sketched a few ideas for us based on some pictures I brought with on our first visit. My friends still call the wedding a fairytale based on the flowers. Josh added the extra touches that I loved such as birch tree branches to the bottom of floral arrangements lining the aisle. He checked in that morning with us and delivered beyond our expectations.

After booking at The Royalton, we were given 3 options for flowers. As smart shoppers we met with all 3 vendors, but naturally only connected with Josh at Stefans (the florist of the wedding that was set up that day we visited). Josh is a really cool guy and he is awesome to work with. He’s so down to earth and says it like it is and I appreciate that!

One of the reasons why we loved Josh is because he knew the exact layout of our wedding venue. He completely drew out every ledge, shelf and fireplace mantle on a piece of paper, which made us feel like he really knew the place (which the other florists we visited with did not). We went over colors, arrangements, bouquets, lighting, the chuppah, aisle, centerpieces, tables, etc. He really knew his stuff! He drew up a contract that was perfect and assured us that he would create the floral arrangements of my dreams and stay within my budget.

A few months later we met with him to view our arrangements.. He was so kind, so accommodating and so flexible with the arrangements. I have no idea how he did it, but he created the vision I had in my head when I was unable to verbalize what it was.

What Josh and his staff created for our wedding was breathtaking. I was speechless at the beauty they brought to my wedding day. The chuppah was the most gorgeous chuppah I have ever seen. Josh exceeded my expectations and created the most gorgeous ceremony.

My bouquet was called an “in and out” bouquet (Josh’s suggestion) it was beautiful and wrapped in lace. The colors in my bouquet and the bridesmaids’ bouquets were unreal. He truly captured my vision. The centerpieces on the tables were talked about all night.

Josh and his staff were professional, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I intend to only use him for my floral needs. I HIGHLY recommend Stefans and Josh!

Dear Josh, The flowers Saturday night (11/02/13) for our daughters wedding were absolutely spectacular!! All of our guests asked who the florist was!! I worked with Josh at Stefan's and it was such a wonderful experience. He totally understood my vision, worked within my budget, and my flowers were GORGEOUS the day of the wedding. He recommended things to me (such as a beautiful arch over the ceremony site) that I never could have thought of. Josh was the consultant I dealt with, he was very laid back, joked around and got straight to business. I had read some bad reviews so I was a little "iffy" about this place. I'm glad I decided to do what I wanted and didn't listen to the reviews. I love Josh. I went in with what I thought might be good he went over the top and my center pieces were BEAUTIFUL!! I went over on my guest list and needed two more center pieces 2 days before the wedding and he came through and I figured because it was so last minute he would charge a lot - NOT AT ALL!! Stefan's will be my florist for life. You will be doing yourself and injustice if you don't go with them.

We originally booked Fleurs de Florissima, which merged with Stefan's. The flowers were absolutely beautiful! They gave me exactly what I wanted and then some. The wedding flowers were absolutely beautiful. Stefans made the chuppah of my dreams and gave us the most incredible centerpieces. The bridesmaids flowers were stunning as well! The only issue I had with all the flowers was that for my bridal bouquet, I gave them a few flowers that I don't like at all and we worked on a great bouquet with different flowers. When I got my bouquet, it was literally an entire bouquet made with all the flowers I don't like. While it was upsetting, it was such a gorgeous bouquet it made for a good memory! I do recommend Stefans for the absolutely beautiful work they did.

We worked with Josh to plan the flowers for our wedding, and based on our discussions of what I was looking to do he was able to create centerpieces and bouquets that were beautiful and in keeping with the style I was hoping for. He was very flexible with making changes and easy to work with. I was only disappointed in that, after I asked to meet shortly before the wedding to discuss the bouquet, the flowers and style of my bouquet were not what we had discussed. The delivery man that day did a great job in altering it to make it closer to what I asked for. Overall the flowers at the wedding looked great, and I would recommend them to others.

We got married outside on a grounds of Oheka Castle in New York. Stefan's Flowers did an amazing job of creating an Arch outside. The flowers in the front of the castle and all the bouquets and boutineirre's for the bridesmaids & groomsmen came out gorgeous. I absolutely loved my flowers. They came out great in the photos! My vision was vintage classic style. Michael George did an amazing job of transforming the castle and making the flowers very elegant. It was a perfect wedding. Thank you Michael & Stefan's!!

This is time #2 that we employed Stefan's. Each daughter wanted something very different and in each case Stefan's delivered! This time we worked with Josh who at first we had some concern about because of his lay back style. But when we went in for our final meeting, it was very apparent that he really "got" what our daughter wanted and very much aimed to please. At the venue, all looked magical. Though Stefan's is a florist, our daughter wanted minimal flowers and mostly candles ... she got what she wanted and it was absolutely beautiful!

Stefan's was a preferred vendor of our venue and hey were able to bring our vision alive with their flower design. I requested a large table of flowers for our escort card table it came out beautifully. They did take a while to respond back with questions during our planning process, and had a few mistakes with our contract but they were able to fix them. Overall, they were a good value for our wedding and able to get our requests met.

Stefan's was fantastic to work with. We were blown away by the way the room looked on our wedding day and what they did based on two meetings and some reference photos. The flowers were incredible, looked beautiful and we definitely got value for our budget. The most amazing piece was the chuppah which Danae Stefan worked from a photo and made it even better. It was simple and organic, but one of the most unique I've ever seen. I couldn't have been happier.

my wife and i met with stefan's flower's first, but to be safe we met with 2-3 other florists and decided to choose stefan's, our meeting went extremely well, they listened to what we wanted and were willing to work with our budget. stefan's called us in to show us a preview of our table arrangements and we were extremely happy, the day of the wedding when my wife and i walked in to the reception hall we were blown away by how beautiful they flowers looked, stefan's did an excellent job and we would certainly recommend them to all of our friends

They do AMAZING work. My flowers were everything I wanted and more. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I had a very open mind going in and a general idea and Josh really helped create the vision for me. You may have a different experience if you want something very specific, but I loved every part of their work and the huppah was absolutely beautiful.

Danae Stefan had a long history with my family - she actually was the florist for my Bat Mitzvah 15 years ago. When you work with a florist who endures trends, fads and time - you know you have the right partner. I brought some visuals I pulled from magazines and Danae brought them to life in the way that would fit our venue and taste. She has an amazing eye and spares no detail. Everything had to be perfect for her, which made everything perfect for us. From our jaw dropping chuppah to show stopping centerpieces, Danae's floral arrangements complemented the recently remodeled Village Club. She had answers to questions before I even asked. Danae also helped us with lighting to create the perfect ambiance in the room.

Worked with Arlene from Stefan's flowers. I didn't really have a clear vision of what I wanted, but she walked us through the process, and was such a great help.

Wedding flowers are expensive, but as far as florists go, Arlene went out of her way to get us the most beautiful flowers in our budget. She even surprised us by including in some boutonnieres on the day of the wedding.

Highly recommended.

Working with Josh was such a pleasure. On the day of the wedding, I cried when i first saw the centerpieces in the hall -- everything was absolutely perfect. The bouquets for my girls and I were absolutely stunning and incorporated all of the elements that i wanted, and a few extra ones that only made everything look that much more beautiful. Their use of color and texture made everything look both natural and elegant, all at the same time. I couldn't have asked for better :)

We got married a month ago and used Stefan's for our flowers and we had a mixed experience. To start with the positives, the bouquets were SO perfect and amazingly beautiful! They were breathtaking and done so well. My photographer was swooning over them and got some really amazing shots of them. I still look at pictures and can't believe they were mine! Regarding working with Arlene, she took time to speak with us numerous times over the course of several months before the wedding. Though via email she doesn't always communicate well, in person she communicates much more friendly and takes more time to respond to questions that may not feel answered in emails. We went over with her several times to talk about our centerpieces. We ended up with two styles. The first, centerpieces with the branches in water, turned out just as we talked about. They were so gorgeous as well. We also loved our Chupah, which also turned out exactly as described to us. The chupah was also absolutely gorgeous..we recieved so many compliments on it.

Unfortunately looking back, there were some draw backs, which we found quite disappointing being that we were really feeling like the work we agreed upon would be stellar, especially given their reputation. We feel overall the centerpieces were not given as much attention as the bouquets were. There were a few things we were surprised to see that did not match with our conversations and our contract, which saddened us to see given how many times Arlene reassured us the details we reviewed several times. Specific flowers and flower colors were added to 2 different centerpieces the day of the wedding that were not discussed and we felt, did not match at all. Another disappointment was the type of large candle centerpiece used on tables, different than what was agreed in the contract. We felt that if the other kind was not available, we should have been notified of this change.

A disappointment overall, but we did love our bouquets!

They messed up my sisters Huppah at her wedding and I was PROMISED they would not do the same again. Well, shame on me for choosing them to do my flowers for that day.! We probably won't ever use you again for my other sisters wedding (when she gets married).
I asked for certain flowers for a certain look for the Huppah, Arch/Arbor, and for the bouquets and what they gave me was their own look. They started by looking at a picture, which I told Josh would only confuse his workers because of the color and he said no don't worry I will write notes. He did write notes but the workers didn't really follow them and Josh was supposed to be there in the morning to explain how things should go (after promising us that too) & of course they came very late and Josh was NOT there to see things through in the morning. They were supposed to keep the construction of the Huppah in the pic but have completely different flowers on it. I know that Cherry Blossoms were out of season for my wedding 6-10-17, but Josh promised to get me fake ones just for the Huppah & Arch/Arbor to give it a look that I wanted. Um he picked up whatever flower was in the picture which was NEVER a color we wanted nor discussed upon. I don't know how, if you have a contract w/ it all written down, how you could get that confused. The Arch/Arbor thing was never supposed to be connected in the center. It was only supposed to almost touch. Well, it was exactly what I didn't want. And it looked nothing as discussed either. I may sound like I'm knit picking but when you ask for things a certain way & you hire someone to do that and they say they will, they should deliver on that and they didn't. Now the bouquets were all the wrong color pink & mine looked so dead it was terrible. They did their best to fix it but once again it was not how it should've looked at all. The centerpieces were the only thing that looked good. Josh should've been there that morn. & I should've gotten some money back! I'm still upset!

The final product was beautiful, but the process was not! I don't like writing negative reviews, and I was happy to give 5 star reviews to the rest of our vendors, but unfortunately due to the poor communication I just can't give Stefan's a great review.

We worked with Josh and the biggest problem was communication. It just didn't seem like he listened to us, and he was extremely difficult to get in touch with.

The centerpieces were beautiful, and were more or less what he had worked up for us when we came in to see the samples.

My bouquet was absolutely beautiful, the problem was I had absolutely no idea what it would look like until the wedding, because Josh wouldn't even send me a picture of a sample, and when he did the final bouquet looked nothing at all like the picture he sent me - which is good, because I wasn't very happy with the picture.

Despite numerous requests I never received a picture or sample of the bridesmaid bouquets. They turned out beautiful, BUT they were supposed to be cream and they were buttercup yellow. Luckily the yellow ended up looking great with the bridesmaid colors, but it wasn't what we were supposed to get.

Everything came out fine in the end but for the money and the # of times Arlene made my blood boil and caused me extra stress I’m giving them a 2. Just a few things I had to deal with: Never heard from them, so 2 weeks before wedding I had to call Arlene and ask to discuss my bouquet, etc. She said no problem “it’s gonna be beautiful”, no need to meet in person and sent me final balance. She always is out of the office or “not working today.”

What happened next:
After paying over $6000, I had to remind them we needed 2 extra lanterns for the 2 extra centerpieces we paid for. To rent the extra lanterns she now calls and emails me 4 times for the extra $60 days before my wedding. Not to confirm my bouquet style or to confirm my centerpiece flowers but for a trivial amount of cash.

Day of wedding, my bouquet looks nothing like photo I sent and has brown, dirty smashed flowers on one side. It’s a typical white ball, I hated it. Fine whatever.
Then I get to the Boathouse and the “LUSHEST, BLOSSOMING branches of cherry or peach” as stated in contract are brown twigs in a vase. But I see lush cherry blossom branches on floor and ask them to add them to my vases and they tell me they are not mine, that was for another event. I had to go crazy on them 2 hours before my ceremony to get them to fix it. The venue manager started feeding me drinks because I was so upset. All Arlene said was that I asked for Dogwoods, thanks for not taking accountability for the problem. I never asked for Dogwoods.

At the end of the day the delivery guys fixed it, they are the guys who actually matter. I would of rather paid someone else $10,000 not to have to deal with the nonsense. Everything else about our wedding was absolutely perfect- I guess it is always something.

Although this is supposed to be one of the best florists on Long Island, I was very unhappy with the turnout. We got very excited at first because we got a really great price, and everything seemed wonderful, but the day of the wedding it turned out that the florist forgot half of the flowers for the gazebo (Ceremony) and all together didnt put the flowers on my cake. It could have been that because of a last minute issue with rain that there was no time, and I have heard good things otherwise although Stefans is pricey. I guess you get what you pay for.

DO NOT be fooled by how nice these people are when you first meet them, the amount of stress and anxiety Rich Baker caused me is not worth what they are trying to sell. In the end my flowers came out beautiful, but THANK GOD I went to the warehouse the Friday before my wedding to check on the flowers or it would have been a disaster. My centerpieces were all complete WITH THE WRONG COLORS and wilted flowers. Even the day of he tried to decorate the venue with dead flowers, thank GD my mother in-law caught them before I did or I would have lost it! Rich was also impossible to work with! I even made him a picture packet of exactly what I wanted and he still had difficulty to produce what I wanted! My first trial was a nightmare! Almost scared our parents away - we should have listened, parents do know best! Rich never answered his phone, or returned messages. It was always another excuse with him.New York is filled with talented florist and people who willing to work with you - these people are money hungry and horrible to work with! I highly suggest using another florist who will give you the time you deserve as well as care about your emotions and feelings as well as professional while you plan your special day!

We could not have been more disappointed with Arlene. The product itself was nice. My bouquet was nice and our flowers were fine. She worked within a very tight budget. However, she is the most unprofessional person I encountered during this process. She did not return our calls in a timely matter, was not flexible in times to meet (we are in NYC and she is only in teh city once a week) and most importantly was downright rude on the phone to both me and my husband. We only used her because she was a lot cheaper than the other two options our site allows. She should not be in a client facing role.

Completely Regret Hiring Stefan's for my Wedding

I am giving some pros for Stefan’s for our wedding given that our ceremony arch was beautiful, and the day of staff did redo my bouquet for the ceremony given how awful the original came out. Other than that, It was a horrible experience with Arlene and Stefan’s for our wedding this past Labor Day weekend. We were limited to four vendors to choose from with our venue, all of whom were obscenely overpriced, but I went with Stefan’s as they were one of the least expensive. With that said, I had itemized bills from other florists in the area from friends of mine who have recently been married in which beautiful giant centerpieces and large gorgeous bouquets were a fraction of the price I was quoted by Stefan’s. Friends of mine who paid a portion of what I paid also described experiences with their florists taking them through the creative process and designing in front of them, which certainly was not my experience with Arlene. Instead she met with us one time to show us nothing but a centerpiece (which I’d made clear I didn’t care about as compared to the bouquets), and was disrespectful to my mother the whole time who was simply asking what Arlene thought of our venue since she works it frequently, along with talking down to me the whole time about the different types of flowers to work for August (I wasn’t even very particular, I just wanted white flowers and tons of greenery...). After this meeting, Arlene sent me an update contract in which a piece that we hadn’t changed at all during the meeting was shadily updated to reflect a more expensive price than previously agreed upon. Luckily I caught it and was able to have the price adjusted correctly, but it certainly put a sour and distrustful taste in my mouth. This all would have been fine if the high prices we paid translated to quality in the end, but on the day of our wedding I received bouquets for myself and the bridal party which were nothing like the pictures I’d sent Arlene, nor what we agreed on, nor the rest of the centerpieces and arch for that matter. I’d made it abundantly clear that I wanted a textured organic look with lots of greenery, and a few flowers at most. Instead what I received was 6 bouquets of tight white roses with a few leaves. The moment I saw my own bouquet I hated it so much I immediately planned not to take any pictures or walk down the aisle with it at all. I emailed Arlene to let her know there must have been a mixup and that I needed a replacement for at least my own bouquet, and she never even responded. Luckily, I had a phenomenal wedding coordinator who ran out to assemble a brand new bouquet in the style I wanted for pictures in just a few hours and completely free of charge. When I showed some family and friends the pictures of what I sent Arlene versus what I got, one actually said “well I guess they are similar in that they are both... flowers...” In the beginning, Arlene had up sold me on some things by saying that she wanted our guests to leave asking who did our flowers. Well, they’re asking now because they saw how frustrated I was and the disparity between agreement and reality. I hope this review saves others from a lot of disappointment by going with a different florist than Stefan’s.

Mother's Day Scam

Ordered flower's for Mother's Day 2020 through their online service and received a confirmation email. The delivery never came. I didn't receive any email, phone call or any other form of communication. I sent them an email and a phone call on Mother's Day to ask about the status of my delivery. I never received a response. I followed up with them the day after, and their phone line and email were disconnected. I had to contact my bank to dispute the charges to get my money back. I strongly believe that this florist knowingly took online orders on Mother's Day in the midst of the pandemic never intending on fulfilling them to inject their business with an influx of cash to offset the business they were losing during the business closures.

Words cannot express my level of devastation in regards to my florist selection for my wedding day. Our contract with Josh from Stefan's was very detailed. The devastation goes beyond the actual flowers. An itemized review: 1. My bouquet as well as bridesmaid bouquets and boutonnieres were to arrive at my parents house at 9:00 AM. Only after several phone calls from my husband did they arrive at 11:30 AM!!!! DUE TO THIS WE MISSED OUR ENTIRE OUTDOOR PHOTO SHOOT IN LONG ISLAND. 2. Upon arriving to our venue the vases had ugly candles rather than floating flowers, the red carpet we ordered was two pieces of carpet (different widths) placed together. The carpet was DIRTY. Our photo/video team were horrified and had to halt filming until it was removed. 3. We were promised fresh bouquets of flowers in the ladies room. They were never placed there. 4. We had a sample created for us by josh a month before the wedding. My parents were present at the meeting and many notes were taken. We specified HATING a specific flowering branch. Low and behold they were placed in EACH of our 18 center pieces. 5. Lastly, it was SO important to me that the front of my venue be lit up with purple lights. I had spoken to several vendors and almost considered paying 1,000.00 just for the lighting. Josh assured me he could do it and included it in the price. Furthermore it was written into my contract. IT WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT DETAIL FOR ME TO HAVE IN MY PHOTOS. However, there was no uplighting outside of my venue. During the wedding I went outside and cried hysterically. I was a bride less than three weeks ago. Brides - I beg you to spare yourself the heartache I am currently feeling.

Stefan's did my sister's wedding 10 years ago and the flowers were stunning. People still talk about them to this day, so it was a no brainer that I would use them for my wedding too. Well that was a gigantic mistake! My flowers were awful!!! Our salesperson Josh was hard to reachand the and two times we went out to meet with him he kept saying it would all be beautiful, took notes etc. Well he must not have read his notes or our contract because we were missing flowers the day of my wedding. The flower girl's headpiece was missing the roses we asked for, the toss bouquet was to be my college colors, orange and green roses and instead I got white hydreangas. The ceremony structure did not have the cascading flowers I asked for. I was very specific about my centerpieces, even brought a picture to our first meeting. The sample Josh made was spot on we just asked for it to be fuller. Well what we got at the recpeption was not like the sample! It was to have 4 candles on the candelabara. When my mom asked the guy setting them up he was super rude about it and just stuck a crooked candle in the center! They basically burned down and almost burned the centerpieces! We had tables putting them out! On top of that when told they were suppose to decorate my cake they looked shell shocked. I ended up with a cake that looked like my 4 year old nephew decorated. I was mortified when I saw it. To top that off it had pink flowers!! My wedding was creams, whites and ivories! I was never shown what any of the bouquets would look like. The girls were gorgeous but mine was wilting and the roses browning on the tips. They died two days later even after I put them in water. The centerpieces died the next day.I paid $5,000 for flowers worth half that much. Stay far away from this company!!!!

I have only one word to describe my experience with Stefan's flowers. HORRIBLE. Do your self a favor and never step foot in this store. We booked them for our wedding on July 11 2015. At first we spoke with a guy named Richard. He was ok, more than willing to help us and very friendly. This guy disappeared down the line. a month or two prior the wedding, we were introduced to another guy, who was going to take over on behalf of Richard. His name was Josh. You really do not want to deal with this guy. He never listened, never took notes and never followed up. As per our conversation with Richard, we were promised any type of flower at NO extra cost. Besides the initial agreement, this guy refused to add the flowers of our choice to our center pieces, which by the way were NOT fresh and nothing like what we had discussed about (I had sent him a picture just to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted, which he ended up agreeing with). Besides the fact that they were unprofessional, in terms of honoring their initial offer, HALF OF THE PIECES THAT WE HAD PAID FOR DID NOT EVEN MAKE IT TO OUR WEDDING!! In the end, we were missing the two flower arrangements at the church (imagine my surprise walking down the aisle staring at an empty altar) and the extra throwing bouquet. When I called and mentioned this to them, Josh's reaction was "oh, ok, sorry". I am still waiting for my reimbursement..

Assuming this is for Stefan's Event Decor/Stefan's Flowers (the name appears to be different in different places) I would never work with this florist again. Arlene was pushy, rude, perpetually on vacation, and showed me a really unprofessional centerpiece. A friend dubbed it a "hydrangea soccer ball with roses poked into it"--which is actually a very good description. Thoroughly fed up with Arlene, I then switched to Josh, who ultimately did a decent job, but was also a pain to work with. He talked over me on the phone, didn't read my emails and told me he didn't read them, and even called me up a few days before the wedding to say that his staff "expected a gratuity of $100 per person." No other vendor was so unprofessional. This is one of the three florists that works at the Boathouse in Central Park. I have already recommended that they find a new third, since Stefan's is the most affordable of the three and probably stays afloat for that reason alone. If you're using that venue, use any of the other florists or see if you can get the Boathouse to let you use a totally differene one.

Warning: DO NOT use this company. They provided me with the worst flowers ever! We went for a trial and on the day of my wedding my flowers for the tables were not what they said they were giving us. They are rude and inconsiderate!
