Incredible Wedding DJ

Jon did an incredible job as our wedding after-party DJ in early December 2021. He kept the dance floor filled after everyone was already previously dancing for 4 hours from the reception. My guests still talk about how great of a job he did and his music selection. I consider myself a music buff and he blew me away with his transitions and flow through the after-party. He played every song we mentioned were must-have's from prior conversations and went above and beyond by hanging a neon sign above the DJ booth that we provided. He was extremely professional, poised, and left us with zero stress. I highly recommend Jon and Status Productions.

Amazing DJ!

Jon was amazing to work with! From our first appointment to the end of our wedding night, he went above and beyond. He answered every crazy question and request I had right away. He kept the dance floor filled the entire night. My guests still rave about my DJ! He does it all... We had dance on clouds, indoor sparklers, TVs with custom slide shows, up lighting, custom monogram, custom photo strips, album of all of the photo booth pictures... everything was perfect!!! He also worked very well with my venue and day of coordinator, handling all of the details of the day... leaving us with no stress! Highly recommend Status Productions!!

Jon and his entire team provided us with exceptional service! From ceremony music to dancing on clouds for our first dance to dancing all night long, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our guests loved the photo booth and the pictures on the tv screens. Status Productions created a unique and memorable evening for us and our guests. We would recommend them to anyone!

Where to begin? Jon was absolutely amazing from the beginning. He was so helpful in making sure we covered everything and was attentive to all of our needs. We had two special slide shows we envisioned which were different than what has been done before. Jon took the reigns putting them together and they were beyond perfect. Leading up to the wedding, communication was excellent. We met with Jon in his office a month before and went through all the details. On the day of the wedding, Jon and his team were on point. They arrived early and everything was ready to go with plenty of time to go before the reception. The set up was impressive as we had requested four TVs and all the bells and whistles. Jon is meant to be an MC. He owned the room and made our guest feel included and informed on everything which was going on. He is a master of his craft. His team ran the dance floor which was crowded the entire night with people dancing. We got so many compliments on how people could not believe the dance floor was packed all night to the very end. To Jon & the Status Productions Team: You guys are amazing. Thank you for being a part of our big day and making it perfect.

These guys are the best! They gave us the full run down of options, gave us great advice, and I am so glad i listened to them! We went over song lists, announcements, etc., and they did not disappoint! Our friends keep saying it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding, and I know that has a lot to do with the fantastic job Status Prod. did!

I found out about Status Productions through my company holiday party last year. I had so much fun that I decided to look into them for my wedding. Best decision ever. I met with Jon and we immediately clicked! Discussing everything went so smoothly. On the day of he was there early to make sure everything went smoothly and he checked on us throughout the night to make sure we were okay and having a good time. My guests loved them and we were dancing the ENTIRE time. We got so many compliments about them. Also the photobooth was a big hit. Definitely recommmed Status Productions for all events!

CLASS ACT. By far the best part of our wedding, We received more compliments from our guests about Jon than any other aspect of our wedding. He really knows how to have fun and keep the crowd on the dance floor. Besides being awesome at the wedding, he also put together my wedding invitations for me. They came out BEAUTIFUL, exactly what I had imagined, Jon is a great guy and truly loves what he does. I would recommend him a thousand times over. Hope to be able to use him again.

If you want a DJ who can do it all and impress you, book him now! I am an avid music buff and I am very particular about my music and how it should be presented and he impressed me the entire night with the music, the flow, the presentation, as well as dancing on the clouds! It was so amazing and the entire time he was the best person to work with and become a friend to. He would continually work with us and had very reasonable prices. After researching invitations and how high prices were online, we were so happy to find that Jon had a very reasonable rate and really impressive invitation to use. He really cares about his clients and is very compassionate with what he does. He was on time professional and it was just so amazing. I couldn't of asked for a better DJ/entertainer, he really brought out the night!!!! Thank you Jon and your team! You truly are the best and deserve more than five stars if you ask me!

Jon was an awesome DJ and became a great friend who was there for us to help us go through the wedding planning. He made himself available to us and was really great to work with. Of course, what really matters is how the wedding day went! And it was an amazing time. Jon had everyone dancing and having an awesome time the whole night. He was funny, entertaining, genuine, and a gentleman. Highly recommended!!

Bottom line - Jon is AMAZING!!!!! almost everyone that came to my wedding complimented on Jon and his crew from the Music to the lighting and photobooth everything was perfect. I highly recommend status productions for any party,wedding or event you choose. Also, I got my Invitations through them and prices were reasonable and invitations were beautiful and came fast! Jon is such a great guy willing to help you with anything you need and always on top of things! So happy I went with him!

Jon is amazing!!!!! He created such a fun and awesome atmosphere at our reception-- guests are still talking about our DJ!! He met with us a few times before our big day-- (was always responsive to phone call and email, very professional, excellent service!!) with a goal of getting to know us to give us the best possible experience. We gave him liberties to play whatever he felt was best for our crowd (no playlists) and he did not disappoint! Guests were dancing all night! Could not be happier!!!!

Jon did such an wonderful job on our wedding day! He listened to exactly what kind of music we wanted to hear and played songs that had the dance floor packed the entire night. Jon is very friendly and offers suggestions that truly make your day everything and more. All of our guests commented on how great the music was and they couldn't remember the last wedding they went to and had so much fun. Status Productions is amazing! The crew at Status Productions is great. We had our meeting with the owner, Jon, who is really very cool and a lot of fun. I booked with them through our photographer/videographer Brian Delia Photography without ever meeting anyone from Status. Finally about a month before the wedding I was getting a little nervous that I had never even met our DJ, but as soon as we did, I had no worries WHAT SO EVER. Tim was our Emcee and Giovanna our DJ and the party rocked ALL NIGHT LONG. They were extremely accommodating with my requests and do no plays and they really knew how to keep the flow of the party going from the time people walked into the reception until they last note of AC/DC "You Shook Me All Nigh Long" ended (our last song, played encore style). I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for DJ/Emcee services and I would absolutely use them again in the future. Totally professional, affordable and a lot of fun.

Jon was fantastic at our wedding! He kept the party going all night! He felt the vibe of our guests and played songs every one knew and loved. Everyone was up dancing all night! I was unhappy with the uplighting when I first walked in, but as soon as I told Jon I didn't like it he went through every color with me until I found one I liked. He was truly amazing! The photobooth was also a huge success! Everyone loved it! The book of pictures we received at the end of the night was so nice. It is so fun to look through it and see all the funny pictures our guests took and remember what a great night it was. It would not have been the same without Jon and I am extremely happy with his service!

My husband and I were at a wedding that Jon and Status Productions DJ & MC-ed and decided to contact them when looking for vendors. Jon is very personable and worked with our budget to help us pick out the best package. We got many compliments about the music at our wedding and people commented that it was the first wedding they'd be to in a while that the music was actually really good! The dance floor was packed all night and Jon would periodically check in with us which was really nice! He even surprised us with confetti at the end of the night - and we got a great picture out of it!!
We are very satisfied and definitely recommend Jon and Status Productions!

Jon and his team at Status Productions were a big part of our special day. Not only did they create an atmosphere for our wedding that had everyone enjoying themselves but Jon was also the officiant of our marriage. Status also provided a red carpet photo runway with instant pictures for our guests and lighting to add to the ambiance of the venue. All of the aspects of what status provided as well as the ease of planning prior to the event allowed us to capture both our personalities and our relationship as a couple.

Jon is a good guy! My husband & I had a long list of sound cues and song lists for him (he played both our Ceremony & Reception), complete with time-cuts, edits, karaoke tracks-- hyper theatrical stuff!-- and he kept up with us. We met multiple times with him to plot out the "run" of the Reception and he is very accommodating! He gets involved in the wedding day itself and interacts well with the crowd instead of just being a passive host. We've seen so many DJs in the past few years just either get up there and act obnoxiously, blatantly ignore the couple's requests, or not seem to have any fun at all. That is NOT DJ Jon Servidio! He takes pride in his work. And, upon meeting with him at his Belleville office, he never put us "on the clock" or rushed us during wedding music planning. The company's Photo Booth was one of the best we had seen. So many compliments on that! And they even printed multiple copies of certain photo strips for us upon request, in-the-moment. We had an afternoon wedding, but chose to uplight the venue, anyway. Do it!! We picked green uplighting features and a gorgeous dance-floor-spotlight with our names and wedding favor logo on it.....SO impressive to the guests' eyes. All these amenities added a lovely ambiance to the already delightful Ball Room. Thank you, Jon.

I can’t say enough about Jon Servidio and Status Productions. I’ve known Jon since high school. He was the DJ for my sweet 16. He volunteers 100% of his time for every fundraiser I have organized for charity. There was no one else that I would ever consider for my wedding or for any other event in the future. For my wedding, he provided the invitations, photo montage, monogram, music, and open photobooth with a back drop (I’m in a wheelchair so he provided the backless booth). Everything was perfect. My guests said that my invitations were the nicest ones that they have ever seen; they were unique but still classy. Jon was the utmost professional and didn’t let me forget any detail in the craziness leading up to the wedding. As I told him the prince/princess/Disney theme of the wedding, he even designed a special monogram with tinkerbell! Jon kept the party going all night. No one wanted to leave the dance floor. He brought a candid photographer with him and had pictures of how much fun we were all having streaming on the screens throughout the reception. When people weren’t dancing, they were in the photobooth having an amazing time. I’ll never forget how he ended the night—with some of our favorite 90s music. No one wanted to leave! Even though the night ended too fast, the memories (made possible by Jon) will last forever. People are still raving about how much they enjoyed themselves and how the music was perfect. To me, there is no other DJ and I recommend him to everyone. Thank you, Jon, for an unforgettable wedding!

Jon and Status Productions did an outstanding job DJing our wedding. He was very professional and easy to work with. He was very patient and helpful as we worked out all the final song choices for our little moments, plus he was able to accommodate all of our specific request in regards to editing songs. The dance on a cloud looked great as well. His crew also did a great job in song selection appropriate for our crowd which is probably the most important aspect of selecting a DJ. A handful of our guest complimented on how good the DJ was. We could not be happier we choose this company for our wedding. Thanks Jon!

Jon kept the party going. He listened to what we requested of him. He played to our needs and the different age groups of the guests. Video was terrific. Lighting was just enough and did not distract from the main event, just added to it. I would highly recommend him.

Had to review these guys after watching how they really put together an amazing day for my sister's wedding. First of all they played multiple roles in all the events of the day. They had generators (super quiet) on the beach for music and wireless mics for the ceremony along with a drone video helicopter to capture the event. They transformed an already beautiful room for the reception with uplighting, photobooth, projections on the dance floor ect... The DJ had the entire party young and old on the dance floor and had a great MC who (unlike some others I've witnessed) had a nice balance of mild bantor to urge the party on without being obnoxious and didn't try to steal the show or think the day was about him. The staff was respectful, very polite, and presented themselves in a very professional manor. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my sister and brother-in-law and from my experience she is not easy to please. I was always a proponent of live wedding bands but Status Productions made me bite my tongue. I would recommend them for any event with the full confidence that you would not be disappointed.

Without Status Productions, we wouldn't have had the best wedding ever. Jon, was amazing to work with and very easy going. He listened to what songs we wanted and when we weren't sure he suggested a few. The music he played was exactly what we asked for and he kept the party going all night. Music is what absolutely makes or breaks a party, and he and his crew did an amazing job. He also provided us with flat screens, showed a slideshow of our pictures through the years, which was awesome since my husband and I have known each other since we were in 7th grade, and also provided us with a photo booth, which everyone loved! I would highly recommend Status Productions, they were GREAT!

Before we review Status Productions and Jon Servidio, we just have to say.. He surprised us with clouds!!!! I (Leah) never imagined my first dance would be dancing on clouds, but we received a surprise gift from our DJ, just as we were about to go to the center of the dance floor! The pictures that captured the moment are breathtaking. Jon Servidio ended up not only just being a DJ at our wedding, but he took the time to make himself a friend. Every special and meaningful song that my husband and I requested, Jon made sure they were played at the most perfect moments. We couldn't decide between our two songs for our wedding and when we did, Jon made sure to have the other song playing during our cake cutting. We were so excited about the song, it took a few shots to finally get a picture. It has been 5 months and we are still getting text messages that it was the best wedding people have ever been to and how awesome the music was because they never sat down and that every genre was hit. Status productions knows how to get the crowd going and never played a song that people were not on the dance floor dancing to.
We have highly recommended Status Productions to numerous friends, whom have all booked and I cannot wait to be a guest at one of those weddings. They are professional, reliable, and highly affordable. They provide the best package for the best price! We had DJ/photobooth/uplighting/monogrammed floor lighting, 50inch plasma tv's that took and displayed pictures the entire night/and a video montage before we came out on the dance floor. Status Productions will make everything your wedding day a dream come true!!!

Jon helped us pick out our invites and decide what verbiage to use on them, he basically chose all of our music for us because we never found the time to come up with many songs, he helped put together our ceremony and then he officiated it wonderfully! We received so many compliments on the music that night and they really got everyone up and dancing the entire night! When we went for our final meeting we completely forgot to bring our baby pictures we wanted to include in our slideshow and Jon made sure to work around our schedule to pick them up and put together the slide show very last minute, it was truly great working with someone who had so many ideas and suggestions. Jon is super friendly and made us comfortable every time we had a meeting with him. I highly recommend Status Productions!!! Thank you Jon!!!

I have never been to a wedding where guests were chanting for an encore- my wedding was the first! John did an amazing job feeling the crowd and getting everyone hyped. I received compliments about the entertainment for weeks after the wedding. I'd definitely recommend Status Productions if you're looking for you and your guests to dance all night!

We just had Jon DJ our wedding over the weekend, and we were really impressed by everything. He was very personable and easy to get along with . He kept a lot of our friends on the dance floor having fun. His pricing was great! I'm really glad I found them. I almost wish my reception was longer so I could have kept partying on the dance floor.

Jon was recommended to us by a friend. I have to say - it was the best recommendation we got! He was personable and made note of any specific requests that we had... mainly that we didn't want certain bands or musicians played. Everyone had a great time - the upbeat atmosphere never slowed down. Our younger guests (our nieces and nephews are in their teens and twenties) never left the dance floor for long.

Jon and Brian helped us make my daughters sweet 16 a great success! They were punctual, professional and extremely caring to any last minute changes. From the moment we met John his professionalism and attention to detail was evident. John took care of everything from the music for our beautiful outdoor ceremony, right through cocktail hour and our amazing reception. Our wedding was not only the blending of two families, but of two cultures as well. Jon Servidio was absolutely the best DJ money could buy for my formal (and fun!) summer wedding. I can't tell you how many guests came up to us that night and later saying how ours was the best wedding they had ever attended, and how everyone was dancing almost the whole time. The music was everything we wanted - a fun mix of all styles. He was also our MC. He has a great voice (not annoying like some people's) and follows all the appropriate cues. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a smart DJ.

So we met with 6 DJs & all gave us the feeling that we were part of a wedding factory. It's a business, we get it, but we felt somewhat dirty after talking to them. We thought all DJ's were like that… Boy we were wrong. Once we met Jon, he established himself as a personable individual with a clear grasp of his role. We instantly knew that we weren't just hiring a DJ to play music at our wedding, but were gaining a partner to throw the wedding of the century with! Leading up to it, we had a lot of questions that must have been so annoying, but not once did Jon make us feel that way. He was always happy to accommodate us as a priority. Our wedding was multifaceted: ceremony w/minister, Greek band for cocktail hour, friend playing guitar for 1st dance, intros & speeches. You don’t normally associate these with a DJ, but the DJ has to manage these different interactions to make the night transition smoothly. STATUS managed these complicated aspects seamlessly & Jon was able to motivate the crowd all night. Nobody wanted to leave & encores ensued. To this day, we still get comments on how good the DJ was! The entire STATUS team came through as they were able to follow the plan given, went above & beyond of what was expected & delivered in the areas where there was no script. Jon took our interests into account & worked hard at contouring his work into our experience. We thought we got a hit when we found STATUS but as we saw them work, we realized it was a homerun! Jon is an artist, a true master of his craft. STATUS is a steal at any price, but a true diamond in the rough right where it stands: alone & as beacon of light amidst a dark pool of wedding factory DJs that care less about you & more about filling a calendar. STATUS is not the best choice, they’re the ONLY choice for anyone looking to receive the kind of personalized attention that you'd expect only family & best of friends to provide. I couldn't imagine our special day without them. And neither should you.

Status Productions was extremely professional, helpful, and accommodating in the months leading up to our wedding. Jon made sure that my wife and I got everything we had envisioned for our special day. The night of our wedding, Jon and Anthony did a tremendous job in making sure the uplighting and monogram was working properly and was exactly what we wanted. I'm not sure where to even start!!! Jon was the best from the beginning!! Jon and Tim were the DJ's at our August 17th wedding. We are still getting calls about how awesome our wedding was especially our DJ's music! We highly recommend Jon & his team at Status Productions. Working with Jon and his crew made my wedding day that much more spectacular. He provided us not only with the entertainment but with lighting that turned the ballroom into a beautiful fairy tale. He was easy to work with listening to our requests and meeting each and every expectation (and beyond). Also, the pictures that his assistant took throughout the night (which were great candid shots of my family and friends enjoying the night) were displayed on the LCD screens and we were able to take them home on a CD to view with our family that night!

Status Productions also provided entertainment for my family and I on several occasions including christenings and birthday parties and have NEVER let us down. Status Productions is a "must have" for your wedding day or any other party!!

We had the most amazing experience with Status Productions. Between the ceremony music, the photo-booth and the requests that we gave, everything was on Point. They even had screens up showing pictures of my husband and I all night. Jon was an amazing MC walking throughout the venue with his microphone constantly keeping the party alive. Jon is a true professional in every sense of the word. At the time, my then fiancee and I were looking for a DJ. After being introduced to Jon, we immediately felt comfortable moving forward with his services.

Leading up to our wedding, no matter how many questions I had regarding the logistics and how things would flow, Jon was ready to answer all of my questions. Jon was excellent! We have had so any rave reviews about how much fun everyone had at our wedding. For me and my husband everything about our wedding night was magical! Jon did a fantastic job of keeping everything on schedule while making it seamless. We met with Jon twice before our wedding and told him what was important to us and what type of music we wanted. We also talked to Jon about our concerns (divorced parents and the marriage of two diff cultures).. Everything worked out and Jon even played arabic music that was requested that night by the groom's mother. He also surprised us with about 400 pictures from our reception. We got married on 9/15/12 and had Jon and Tim as our DJ's and they were amazing! Couldn't have asked for a better team. The dance floor was packed the entire night and even had people dancing on the carpet, because there was no more room on the wooden dance floor. I gave them very little direction with song choices, just told them the few songs I wanted and didn't want and they played the greatest music all night, a little bit of everything to appeal to all ages.

Jon met with my husband and I months before the wedding, we talked for hours and now looking back it was so he could learn a little bit about us and know what type of wedding we were looking for.

I would recommend this team to anyone!!

Our wedding day had 18 inches of snow and our DJ is about the only thing that went right for us. Jon was extremely professional and kept on top of everything from the planning all the way through to the last seconds of the reception. All of our guests had so much fun and still talk about it. Jon kept all generations of people up dancing all night long and made sure everyones requests got played. Everyone knows when you get married people talk about,the bride,the food&the music. Jon ensured that everyone no matter what age everyone was on the dancefloor having a great time. DJ Jon Servidio just made our event..... we have used his services for 8 years in a row and would never switch to anyone else. The sounds gets the crowds going and since it is a fundraiser, his DJ services helps get the guests into the mood to donate. Look forward to using Status Productions for other types of events. I wish I didn't have to make this kind of review, but I just wanted to make sure future couples are aware. I decided to go with Status Productions based on their reviews, which sounded great, but our experience was NOT so great. The booking of the photobooth was fast and efficient, but then after the down payment was put down, communication started to decline. We had to e-mail Jon to send the contract to us because it was never given considering we wanted to make sure we had the rental for the night at a certain time. We had also asked to send a proof of design for the Photobooth with our logo. Two weeks before our wedding we still had not received it, so we had sent an e-mail asking about the design, but was sent back an e-mail stating that "he was busy" and will work on it and send it the next day, which took almost a week. I know you are busy, but we are all busy trying to plan and make sure our wedding day is perfect.

Photobooth was set-up at the correct time and the groom and I were the first to take the first picture. Pictures came out dark and blurry, and you could not even see our face. I looked and told my husband, and he re-assured me that it would probably be fixed later considering we are the first and the lighting might be off. I was super happy to see people standing in the line to get their pictures taken, but immediately after seeing some guests take a picture, they stated that "It doesn't look good." Just hearing those words broke my heart. A bride does not want to hear that especially at their wedding. We made sure that the photobooth was an important part by putting them into a frame that they can take home as a keepsake/souvenir. After asking the guests what was their favorite part of the wedding, they mentioned the food, venue, etc. and the only thing they were disappointed about was the photobooth. It just upsets us at the fact that when it came to one thing, that we thought our guests would have loved, ended up being not loved.

I hired Jon for a package deal: videography, photography, photo booth, MC, DJ, and officiant. I paid him half up front and signed a contract in his office in Caldwell. He said he would be emailing me the contract and I'd have it by the time I was home. Two days go by and I had not received it so I reached out and kindly reminded him to send it my way. I guess this should've been the red flag and I should've just dropped him then and there. But I was a busy bride planning an Indian-Hispanic wedding and didn't think too much of it. I went back and forth with him a few times until I eventually just forgot that he hadn't emailed it to me. I feel so stupid for having to admit that, but it's true. I booked him in December and then didn't hear anything from him until I reached out in September. I asked him what the plan was and when I was going to meet my team of photo/video people. He kept putting it off until eventually it was time for the wedding and I met my video and photo people on that day. This is unheard of and never ever happens. My team had no idea of our backstory and no idea of what shots we wanted to take. He even had the audacity to make me go upstairs during my reception to get my credit card so that I could pay my remaining balance. He also forgot to have us sign our wedding certificate and called our hotel room on our wedding night at 3-4am and we had to go down into the lobby to sign it. Professional??? But the candy on top of all of it? The jerk never ever gave me my wedding albums or wedding videos. The albums never came and the video had unedited footage. He refused to fix it and eventually it became too emotionally painful for me to pursue, so I dropped it. This is the man who married me and my husband. STAY AWAY FROM JON SERVIDIO AND STATUS PRODUCTIONS.
