Dependable, organized, and exceptional service

We used State Shuttle for our wedding day transportation, and they were absolutely amazing! From the booking process to the last drop-off, everything was seamless and stress-free. The drivers were professional, friendly, and arrived on time, making sure our guests were comfortable and taken care of throughout the evening. Having reliable transportation on such an important day gave us peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding. Amazing shuttle service!

Easy to work with, affordable and great communication. We booked them 2 months prior to the wedding because our previous shuttle service (rolling V transportation services) was terrible with communication and wanted to hike up our price. Shout out to Chris for being a great driver and making sure he got our people to and from the hotel safely!

Clean, Easy to Work With, and Affordable

We used State Shuttle for our wedding. They were easy to work with and very knowledgeable and helpful. The shuttle was clean, on time, and the driver was very nice.

Highly Recommend State Shuttle

I was married at David’s Country Inn and we used State Shuttle as our vendor. They were prompt, easy to work with, and Tom our driver was a gem. The shuttle was very clean. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Andrea was my wedding coordinater at State Shuttle. She was EXTREMELY helpful to this first time bride. She assisted in every detail so we can coordinate my party from the hotel to the photo shoot to the church and back. State shuttle also picked us up at our home for a ride to the airport. They called and confirmed every detail the a few days before the wedding, the day before the wedding and again for the ride to the airport and return trip. Very professional drivers- no money is provided to the driver. Including tips, all the transactions will be done by charging to you cc the day of your event. This way the bride does not have to worry about carrying checks etc. I will definately use them again.

State Shuttle provided the limos to transport the bridal party from the hotel to the reception site. They were very easy to reach via telephone and courteous and polite during the booking process. Their rates are reasonable and they were able to include the tip in the overall bill which was nice because it was less for me to think about the day of the wedding. The limos arrived on-time and were clean and the drivers were professional. Everything went very smoothly.

We used state shuttle for transportation from the hotel to the reception site for our guests. It was great that the guests did not have to drive, especially after the reception. They were on time and made trips back and forth. We were very pleased with their service.

We used state shuttle for transportation. They provided a Van to shuttle the Groomsmen to the Venue from the Hotel and a Limo for the Ladies. It was VERY difficult to find a company that would do a limo pick up and drop off without booking a 3+ hour package. They price was great the drivers were on time (we were late!) and professional.
The Limo wasn't pristine or anything it was on the older side but it served it's purpose perfectly. We would highly recommend.

TREMENDOUS value!! In North Jersey, you won't get a better deal than this. PLUS, tip, tax, parking and tolls are included in the price, so there's no guesswork to how much else you owe. Highly recommend.

After reading some other reviews, I was a little nervous to book State Shuttle for my wedding transportation, but unfortunately, there were no other shuttle companies available for our wedding day that could accommodate our transportation needs. My initial correspondence with State Shuttle to reserve the 3 buses that we needed for different locations was a little shaky and I was a little hesitant to see if all the shuttles would arrive on time where they were supposed to be, but I was pleasantly surprised on the wedding day to hear that the transportation could not have run more smoothly! We booked 3 buses for unlimited round trips for 9 hours, and the last buses even stayed a little longer at our after party to ensure that all guests were accounted for before they made their last trips back to the hotels. There may be some negative reviews on here for State Shuttle, but I couldn't have been happier with my experience with them for our wedding day transportation!

This was perfect what we needed it for. We did a couple trip shuttle to and from out hotel to the venue. The guy was so nice he even did an extra trip! Very accommodating.

State shuttle was recommended to me by a hotel that I did not go with, I chose them for their price. A couple of things did bother me about them. I did not receive the contract I was told I would get in the mail and they stated they were unable to send via e-mail so I was nervous the I actually wasn't going to have any shuttle services. Thankfully I did have my transaction number and was able to confirm via the number. The driver gave me a call the day before and gave me his number and encouraged me to give the number to the front desks of the hotels my guests were staying at. He was accommodating when I added a hotel to his list with no problems. The driver was kind enough to wait for the guests at the end of the night. They had a beautiful shuttle and the guests were very comfortable.

We used State Shuttle to transport our wedding guests to and from the event this past June. They did a fantastic job! Our driver was very nice and friendly to us and our guests. The bus was kept at a comfortable temperature. His driving was fantastic. The pricing was very reasonable compared to other shuttle companies that I researched, and you have the bus for 8 hours. Overall, I highly recommend them for your wedding day transportation needs.

Good affordable shuttle service for weddings

We used the State Shuttle for transporting our bridal party from our hotel to the venue and the venue back to the hotel. Both drivers were professional, punctual, helpful with packing stuff into the shuttle van, and friendly. I'd definitely recommend their service for weddings.

I was very happy with most of the service provided. However, the shuttle was scheduled to make multiple trips to the venue from our hotel. My sister and other guests missed my ceremony due to the shuttle not returning to the hotel after the first trip. The bus reappeared at the venue a half hour after the ceremony with no passengers. I do not know where the miscommunication occurred, but I was quite upset that my sibling was not able to witness my wedding. I did not follow up with the vendor due to the hectic schedule following the wedding. I am not sure I would use this service again, but everything besides this mishap went very well.

I was at first exctied to book this company with the great reviews I saw but I was dissapointed with a few things. First off it was extremlely hard to get in touch with the person I booked with and if I had a question and she wasn't there, no one else I spoke with could help me. Also there was a long lag in any email responses. In addition the night of the wedding. One of the bus made one trip back to the hotel from the reception and broke down. We were all waiting outside the reception for over a half hour when the hotel was only 5 minutes away. It was nearing our end time at the end of the half hour and we were worried that they left. So I got in a car with a few other people and when I got the hotel the bus was still there!! I banged on the door and the driver said they broke down and just got it started back up! I understand things like this can happen but I was very dissapointed with the communication. They could have called and let me know or sent another bus! So all in all, their communication and customer servcie was extremely dissapointing.

Highly flexible. Not great with directions (I had to help navigate). Fair price. The staff on the phone was helpful (though was on hold a lot). The driver was not that friendly (maybe I didn't get the best driver).

Driver damaged venue property and almost injured handicapped passenger.

We used state shuttle for our wedding and the company was very easy to work with but the driver was very unprofessional. We needed a handicapped accessible van for my cousin who uses a wheelchair and the company told us he is the only driver for the handicapped bus.

The driver of this bus did not secure her wheelchair correctly and was driving so fast and recklessly that she was bounced from her seat numerous times. He was also reckless with our first group while it was raining, going over speed bumps at full speed and winding very fast down tight and wet roads. He then ran over and damaged some bushes and almost went onto the grass of our venue even though the staff out side was yelling at him to stop and trying to help lead him where to go.

He did not follow the schedule for returns even though he had called to confirm the night before. He added an extra trip back even though our last shuttles was scheduled to depart at 9:30pm and no one was left to pick up.

The worst part was that after he dropped off the second group to the venue, he decided to stay during the cocktail hour, mingle with the guests and even help himself to the cocktail hour food. Our planners had to ask him to leave because he was being very unprofessional.

On the contrary our other bus driver was very good. He was responsible and safe in driving and we had no issues with him. I am giving three stars because the company and other driver were great but our experience with the first driver was terrible and I do not recommend them if you need a handicapped bus and this is their only driver for said bus.

The service provided by State Shuttle was the only portion of our wedding that we were disappointed with. We paid for two trips from the hotel to the venue before our wedding reception, and two return trips to the hotel after the reception. The service before the reception went smoothly, however we encountered an issue after the wedding.

A member of our bridal party alerted us that the driver was informing our guests that he would only be making one trip back to the hotel. When I went to speak with the driver he told me that we were contracted for only one trip back to the hotel, but would make a second trip if needed. I offered to show him the contract (I had copies of all of our wedding contracts saved on my phone in case something like this happened), but he declined and begrudgingly returned for the second trip. It seemed as though he was trying to pack as many of our guests into the shuttle, so that he could get away with not making the second trip. The second trip included my wife and I and the bridal party, so we would have been furious if he didn't return.

We chose State Shuttle primarily for price. It was the least expensive option we found, and did not think service would be an issue. If you can afford it I would recommend spending a little extra money for a shuttle from your limo company, or use the hotel's shuttle service (if available). This was the only company that we didn't research beforehand, and it almost ended poorly.

I would not recommend this vendor! I was very diligent in wedding planning and did everything almost 1 year in advance. I had booked a coach mini bus which held 50 people and the morning before my wedding day they called me to tell me that they did not have one available and they were sending 2 vans. I argued on the phone and all they said they could do was take $100 off the final bill! The night of my wedding guests had to call a cab service because one of the vans was missing turns out the driver parked behind our DJ and fell asleep! About 10 of our guests ended up taking cabs and had to pay for it! When we confronted management about this they told us there was no proof that he fell asleep and they couldn't do anything but take a little more off the final bill. Completely dissatisfied with this service! I WOULD NOT recommend !

The only time I got upset during my wedding day was at the end of the night when I walked out of the reception venue and saw many guests sitting waiting for State Shuttle's second and last trip of the night, which never came. I called them and asked where they were, and they said the driver didn't know he was supposed to make a second trip. I had many conversations with State Shuttle prior to the wedding to go over timeline, how many trips to make, etc. At that point my main concern was getting my guests back to the hotel ASAP since it was already well past midnight then. So I hung up on State Shuttle, called a cab company, and in 5 minutes the cabs arrived to take the remaining guests to the hotel out of my pocket.

I followed up with State Shuttle when I returned from my honeymoon. They verbally acknowledged my mistake, asked me how much I paid for the cabs and initially offered to reimburse me only that amount. I gave them the amount and said I should also be reimbursed for the service I paid for but didn't receive. In the end we agreed to an amount, but the unprofessionalism of not really acknowledging that they should reimburse me the undelivered service added to my frustrations with them.

If the hotel has a recommended shuttle vendor they go with, I would suggest going with that and not booking an outside shuttle that you "heard" does well. That's what I tried doing with State Shuttle, and in the end if not for the cabs, my guests would've been stranded in the middle of the night.

Sadly our State Shuttle experience was a poor one. Leading up to our wedding we felt very comfortable with the degree of professionalism. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately on the night of our wedding events did not go as planned. We paid for a large luxury bus to pick up guests from two hotels and bring them to the venue. The bus was then supposed to remain on-hand for any guests who may need to leave early, before beginning the loop of returning guests to the hotels for the remainder of the evening.
During cocktail hour an elderly guest needed to be returned to the hotel, but when our wedding planner attempted to contact the driver his phone was off and he did not return calls. Though the planner called State Shuttle, they would not contact the driver and could not find him. Eventually she had to leave our wedding to drive the guests to the hotel herself, missing over an hour of the reception. When the driver returned hours later he said he'd gone to the movies and offered no further explanation.
After a handful of calls the following week with State Shuttle, during which they tried to play he-said she-said with us regarding what had taken place, they agreed to refund us about $200, which they never did. Frustrated and tired of bothering, we never called them back. Transportation problems are notorious in weddings, and sadly State Shuttle failed us, then denied responsibility. I don't recommend trusting them for your event.

I wrote an initial review two days ago, but wanted to share further negative experiences. The owner Eileen finally emailed me back on Monday afternoon after I had to call yet again on Monday morning and demand to speak with her after not hearing anything back after six days. We left numerous voicemails and emailed her as well. Her excuse was she didn't want to bother us on our honeymoon. We made it very clear that we weren't on our honeymoon and wanted to get this resolved right away. That is why we kept calling and leaving messages for her to please return our calls. She offered to reimburse us $350 for our troubles which isn't even half our bill. She refused to call and speak on the phone and only communicated via email after we initially spoke with her about our experiences last Tuesday. I emailed her a second time less than an hour after we received her email on Monday asking her to reconsider her reimbursement offer and was looking forward to a call or prompt email response. Two days later still no communication. It wasn't until I reached out again today for a third time did I finally get a response to be told she issued the $350 and that she found my review on The Knot deceiving. If you look at all their reviews though you will see mine is not the only negative one. I would hate to see this happen to another couple on their one and only wedding day. I'm angry I didn't look at these reviews before booking. The lack of respect and attention we have received is appalling. Their driver came in to our venue uninvited and videotaped our reception. A video Eileen promised to send to us last week and then told us this week that she wasn't able to do for some reason. Instead she ensured us that she deleted it from the drivers phone, but we still feel uncomfortable about it and feel that our privacy and our guests privacy has been invaded. We did not receive the service we were promised or paid for. Our shuttle was late and had no air conditioning for a June wedding.

After researching a dozen companies, we decided to book State Shuttle because of their competitive pricing on the entire package (we had 9 point-to-point trips plus the reception shuttle). I guess you get what you pay for because cheaper is definitely not better. The shuttles were CONSISTENTLY LATE and the drivers got CONSISTENTLY LOST. Each time we called dispatch to get a status, we were given the runaround with some pickups almost a half hour late. The worst of all was the night of our reception. We paid $690 for 8 hours of a full-service 24-person bus to go between my hotel and venue. Given the distance between these two is only 15 minutes, we expected the driver to have no problems with multiple trips. According to our guests, the driver was COMPLETELY LOST, taking almost an hour to go and come back. Every one of my guests ended up waiting to either get to the reception or to go home. Ultimately, even my husband and I had to WAIT AN HOUR to be picked up and taken back to the hotel (we were the last people there) and he got lost again, even though I was giving him directions, which he would not take. We ended up MISSING OUR ENTIRE AFTER-PARTY as our reception ended at midnight but the shuttle didn\'t get us back until 1:30am! It was a horrendous end to a perfect day and I can honestly say that State Shuttle RUINED my wedding day. They will always be my biggest regret.

I would not recommend this vendor- they were late to pick up my guests after confirming the appointment- so many of my guests were late to the wedding.
