This was the best night of my life and Starr Weddings and Entertainment was a huge part of that! They were amazing about communication leading up to my wedding and even reached out before to let me know how excited they were to be part of my special day! They made the night truly amazing and everything was so much fun. From the DJ to the photobooth, I cannot say enough good things about them. If you want to make any event the best it can be you need them. -

Amazing experience with Starr! Communication was incredibly quick and informative. The pre-wedding meeting with the DJ was the most effective way for the DJ to figure out our energy and needs for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We originally booked with Starr for a 2020 wedding but had to cancel due to the pandemic. Starr Weddings & Entertainment honored our original contract, was always extremely responsive, and provided a fantastic experience for our guests. We heard nothing but compliments for the DJ. Awesome experience! -

I used Starr Weddings & Entertainment for Coordinating and DJ/MC Services. I can't say enough about Hannah and how much of a difference she made throughout my planning process and of course during the weekend of the wedding. I have absolutely no experience planning anything but Hannah reassured me everything would work out and be beautiful and she was right! She is such a pro, absolutely every aspect of our ceremony and reception was flawless.
On the day of the wedding I felt so relaxed and calm because I knew she was there. At no point did the day feel rushed or chaotic. By the end of the reception as she was leaving, I was so sad to see her go! She felt like family and every guest was so impressed with her hard work and direction. If you are planning a wedding and are able to work with Hannah, you absolutely should!
Casey was our DJ and MC and he really made the night special. His set up looked and sounded perfect and we had a great time dancing. Hannah and Casey kept the night moving along without any problems whatsoever. I'm so happy we went with Starr and I highly recommend using them for your event! -

Steven and Josh were so organized and easy to work with, and Josh did an awesome job DJ’ing at our reception! Everyone had a great time dancing! I was pretty picky about certain types of music we wanted (and songs we definitely didn’t want played), and Josh really listened to us and played the songs and style of music that we asked for. He also did the music and sound for our ceremony and everything was exactly as we requested. The online tool Starr Entertainment uses helped a lot too - it was very easy to use and helped us get ideas for special songs. Thank you so much Josh and Steven for doing such a great job with our wedding!

We used Starr Weddings’ photo booth at our reception, and it was awesome. The attendant was very patient and had everything ready to go. Guests loved it! Good value too. Love that we get copies of all the pictures afterward. Very nice and easy to work with! -

We HIGHLY recommend Starr Weddings & Entertainment. They were very professional, quick to return text/emails, thorough in planning, and willing to help any way they could. Steven was a pleasure to work with and make the entire process run very smoothly. Our DJ Casey took the time to help me with my wedding playlist, and make a special mash-up for our father-daughter dance. He really went ABOVE and BEYOND. They were wonderful from beginning to end. -

Steven and his crew were AMAZING. At our first meeting, he walked us through every detail and made us feel so calm and way less stressed about our wedding day! We didn’t have to think about one thing day of, because they thought of everything and made it all run smoothly!! His day of timeline was so helpful. They communicated with all of our vendors week of, and it all turned out PERFECT. We also hired our DJ, Josh, from Starr Weddings and he was AWESOME! He kept everyone dancing all night and helped everything run smoothly and on time. We met with him before as well, and he totally took our vision and ran with it. This was the best money we spent on our wedding. We can’t say enough good things about Starr Wedding and Entertainment!! -

Steven and Tabitha were life savers. I planned my wedding from 4 hours away and they made it so easy. They love what they do and are amazing at it. We could not have gotten the service and experience anywhere else. The prices are a steal too! Everything from the detailed timeline, meetings, DJ (Josh was so fun!), lighting...literally everything was worth it. I'd recommend them to anyone. -

When I started in on planning my wedding in July 2016 I had no idea how much work would go into finding the right group of people to make sure my wedding was as perfect as I had always dreamed. Since I planned my wedding myself I had a lot of questions along the way. Steven (Starr events owner) was always there to answer my questions and offer guidance over my 9 month planning process. When it came time for my rehearsal Steven and Billy (the DJ) arrived at the venue early in the day to get everything set up for the evening. After the rehearsal, Steven, Billy and Steven's wife Tabitha worked into the wee hours of the next morning setting up the reception site making sure that everything was perfect for my big day. During the actual wedding and reception Starr events continued to offer impeccable service, making sure that all the music was perfect for the processional and recessional, making sure that my family and bridal party made it down the isle in the correct order and making sure there was appropriate time between people coming down the isle. During the reception Starr events made sure that all the components of the night (garter toss, bouquet toss, special dances, cutting of the cake, etc) went off without a hitch. They were also so responsive to my last minute changes in plans. My father passed away 6 days after I got engaged so I did not have a father- daughter dance, at the very last minute (I'm talking in the middle of my husbands dance with his mom) I decided I wanted to have a dance with my mom, Steven and Billy were immediately on it and no one knew that my mother-daughter dance had not been planned from the beginning. These guys are the best of the best! Next to saying "yes" to my husband, hiring Starr events was the best wedding-related decision I could have made! -

Our dj was so nice so I hate to say this..but he did not listen to what we wanted at all. We had to fill out this whole entire online entry about what songs we wanted played for which part of the ceremony. Which was fine but then no attention was paid to it? My husband wanted privacy by Chris Brown as the garter toss song and we put it on the online entry. But the dj tried to play gold digger? I don’t know why but my husband was very upset. He went and told him he wanted privacy by Chris Brown and had a whole dance planned, and the dj ended up playing a remix of it which we had never heard. I’m sorry but why would you pick gold digger to play at a wedding? Not even at all appropriate lol
