The best of the best!

Roger is the sweetest and caring officiant! He went above and beyond to make our ceremony exactly what we wanted and even helped accommodate our change in wedding date! We know this review is a little late but we love Roger to anyone in the area for a beautiful wedding! Thank you so much Starlen Weddings!

Sweet ceremony

Roger officiated our wedding this past October. He gave us many examples of other ceremonies months prior to the wedding. We couldn’t decide between 2 so he was so kind and seamlessly combined them into one personalized ceremony— which made it extra special for us! My husband was pretty nervous at the altar and Roger was so kind and cued him through and made both of us feel comfortable . We are so thankful that Roger officiated our marriage, we wouldn’t have had it any other way !

We had our vow renewal recently at the Christ Chapel across BSU football stadium in Boise, ID (followed by a reception at the Boise Depot). Roger officiated our renewal. He was the best ever and we had so much fun at our ceremony, it was such an emotional ceremony and Roger helped us throughout the process. We also had a rehearsal earlier in the week and he explained everything so well and got my wife so excited about the event. I highly recommend Roger for any couple looking for wedding officiating.

Roger guided us through the whole wedding process by making us feel comfortable and stress free. We are so thankful he was so hands on. He gave us a few wonderful ideas to incorporate into the service and even came for a rehearsal with some tips for everyone just to make our day go as planned. We would most definitely recommend him for a memorable wedding.

Roger provided excellent officiant services for my wedding. He arrived on time, was friendly with my guests and family, and was very professional. He helped me and my husband feel more relaxed both on the day of the wedding and before hand by meeting with us and keeping in contact during the months leading up to the event. He returned my phone calls and emails very quickly, and helped us write our vows and plan our ceremony until it was perfect for us! I would definitely recommend him to any couple looking for an officiant who is both professional but still adds that personal touch to his services.

Roger walked us through the entire process and made everyone comfortable with their roles. That made it easier to focus on making the rest of the details go off without a hitch. Roger was professional and kind in his words. I would not hesitate to recommend Starlen Weddings again.

Roger Morgan of Starlen Weddings was our wedding officiant. He was very professional and on point with planning the ceremony. He made sure we were going to absolutely LOVE it. He thought of everything. Roger provided several ceremony samples, a variety of standard vows and examples of customized vows. He also made suggestions for candle lighting, unity sand and hand ceremony. We ended up writing our own vows to work into the candle lighting ceremony that we chose.

Roger has a special gift of making you feel so comfortable and stress free. The rehearsal went smooth, at least we remember it that way. It was windy and people arrived late but he remained professional as we went through the walk-in several times in the dark to ensure we all have it down.

The day of our wedding was so beautiful. All the elements that we discussed came together so nicely and the ceremony was amazing. We would highly recommend Roger Morgan of Starlen weddings. You will not be disappointed.

Thank you Roger for making our day that much more special!

My husband and I found Roger through wedding wire and decided to meet with him. Right away after meeting him we knew we wanted him to marry us. He was so friendly and down to earth and really sat down and wanted to talk with us and get to know a little bit about us. The vows we decided on were perfect and he really made the ceremony wonderful! He is a very sweet and professional man. We would definitely recommend him!

Roger Morgan was our officiant for our Wedding at the Forest House in Foresthill, CA. He was a perfect fit for our wedding and was extremely professional and helpful. Roger was so sweet and an excellent choice for officiating your wedding on the special day! You can really tell he cares about the bride and groom, and its a special experience for him to be a part of your big day! We hired him last minute because we couldn't find anyone else that we liked, and he was very flexible with our hectic schedule! He arrived early the day of in case we had any last minute changes, and was very helpful during the rehearsal on site. His price is very comparable to other services in the area as well! One thing I especially liked is they give you different scripts to choose from, religious and non-religious, but they are customizable to whatever you want them to say. We added in a bunch of stuff to make it more geared towards our ceremony and they were more than willing to accommodate that! He is an excellent choice and you will have no worries or extra stress if you go with him!

Roger made our ceremony such a memorable experience. He was very patient and understanding especially when we had to change our wedding date! Roger listened and really took the time to get to know us as a couple and customized the wedding ceremony to our liking. Roger was our officiant for our wedding and he was excellent to work with. Roger is such a genuine person with a real passion for his work. Roger, along with his wife, where professional, open minded, accessible, and extremely flexible and accommodating. Roger helped us through our unique situation of conducting a simple and meaningful non-religious double wedding ceremony for twin brides. The logistics were a bit complex, but he made it easy for us to work it out with him, whether in person, via phone or email. I would highly recommend Roger and Starlen Weddings to anyone looking for an officiant!

My new husband and I cannot say enough good things about Roger from Starlen Weddings. Roger was flexible, reliable and professional. Beyond this, we found him to be an exceptionally kind person in general. Prior to finding Roger, my husband and I had been looking into some different options for someone to officiate our wedding. We both are Christians but did not have strong connections to anyone from church to perform our ceremony. Before meeting Roger we had met with two other possible candidates (one a retired priest and one a pastor that was recommended by a family friend). Neither one, to say the least was excited to assist us-(why I'm unsure, this is a first marriage for both of us, we are in our 30's, hardworking couple) Upon meeting Roger, both my husband and I felt extremely comfortable with him. If you're looking for someone to bring meaning and peace to your ceremony, we highly recommend Roger of Starlen Weddings.

Roger was so amazing in working with what we wanted. Initially, we asked for a very short and simple ceremony. But being as it was our first, we soon found out we were more particular and detailed than we imagined. Roger and his wife were both responsive and willing to work with us on each point!

Roger was the officiant at our wedding this August in Camino, CA. We met with him for the first time at a Starbucks in the area and quickly decided he was perfect. He is genuine and sincere and made us feel at ease. We were looking for a civil ceremony with a little bit of religion, but also incorporated in a wine ceremony. Roger was very flexible, provided us with a great starting template for exactly what we wanted, and worked well through email communication. He was an hour early for the rehearsal and wedding and was very prepared. Most importantly, he helped us focus on each other and guided us through our ceremony flawlessly. As a special treat, he wore my wedding colors under his suit. Couldn't have asked for more!

Working with Roger & Ruth has been great from start to finish. At about 6months out from our event I had been emailing & contacting officiants for prices. I had spoke to Roger over the phone and planned to meet but my husband to be & I decided to hold off on booking anyone. Roger was the only officiant to follow up with me after about 4 months. We met Roger & immediately decided to book Starlen Weddings. He was very friendly and made us comfortable. Which is truely important when planning a wedding.

As for his service, we weren't very picky. We gave his wife Ruth full reign over our ceremony and it was beautiful. It came out exactly how we wanted it to. Even through the whirl wind of the ceremony Roger walked us through every step making our ceremony flawless & smooth.

I would recommend Starlen Weddings & I plan to push for my maid of honor (who is next to be married) to use them also.

I will always recommend Starlen Weddings. I run a DJ Service and after doing numerous Weddings the only Officiant I will recommend is Starlen! Ruth & Rodger are a great team, they let me customize the wedding the way my wife & I wanted it. Rodger was on time, Professional, very knowledgeable & patient. He is delightful to work with and what makes it even better is how much attention to detail he has with each past client, shows how much he cares and loves the job he does. Roger Morgan was everything we had hoped for in an officiant. He was spectacular! He was down to earth, personable, eloquent, and very professional. We were completely satisfied with his services. Roger Morgan, owner of Starlen Weddings was the perfect fit for our wedding. He was caring and sincere from the very first day and we were so glad we selected him to marry us on our day.

We discovered weeks before the wedding, that his wedding anniversary was on the same day as our wedding and despite that being a special day for him, he still agreed to perform our ceremony. He and his wife joined our family & friends at our reception which even more so solidified our decision to have him as our officiant. We highly recommend Starlen for your wedding day needs.

No issues with Roger at all. He was very good... sat down with us a couple of times to discuss the details. He was very reasonable in his pricing, too. He seems like a very good guy and accomodated all of our requests.

Roger was professional and accomodating. He really listened to what we wanted and what we didn't want. He was very good at guiding us throught the ceremony and the reherseal. Even though we were out of town for him he was early for both the reherseal and the ceremony. We would recommend Roger for your wedding!

Roger did a fantastic job at our wedding. He was early to both the rehearsal and ceremony and spoke to our guests. He was very personable and did a fantastic job! I would recommend his services!

Roger was so sweet, fun, honest, reasonably priced and knew what was expected. He even volunteered and wanted to come to our rehearsal, which not many others do. Although, our wedding was a pretty good commute, Roger was there at least an 1 1/2 early and ready to go. My husband and I are very grateful. We had a beautiful ceremony. Thank you very much Roger!!

Roger and Ruth were a pleasure to work with. They responded promptly to emals or phone calls. Roger was open to all of the changes I made to the ceremony and performed well on the day. He arrived promptly to both the rehearsal and on the wedding day. We got many compliments from our guests about the ceremony. Roger made us both feel so comfortable and it seemed like we had known him for years. I would recommend Roger and Ruth to anyone who is looking for an officiant. Our wedding at Chateau des fleurs was amazing!!!!
