We used Starfish Studios for our photography for our wedding. I have the highest recommendations for them for wedding photography because of my experience. They captured the day beautifully, when I got my photos from them (pretty quickly after my wedding), I felt like I relived my wedding day looking at them again! They did an amazing day capturing the entire feeling and experience of our wedding day! Dan was very flexible, laid back and put my mind at ease on my wedding day! I felt that I was in good hands, and I was! I have SO many photos, it's hard to choose which ones are my favorite! Vicki was always very prompt and professional in communication and the quality of service from the both is great! Overall, i have nothing but good things to say about this company!

Vicki and Danny are two of the most FABULOUS people I have met! The first time I met them I KNEW they MUST shoot our wedding. Besides having the MOST UMBELIEVABLE pictures they could not be any sweeter. Vicki is so great with communication and covered everything even making sure we could get my 'must have' shots. Their pictures and their personalities are what made us choose them. They were a dream to work with and I can't wait to have them shoot another BIG moment in our lives!!!

We found Dan and Vicki, Starfish Studios, from reading other reviews and now I know why they were so great. We picked a package from a nice variety that worked for us, which was great a value for the service we received. Vicki was always quick to email me back with my questions. We planned the engagement shoot and they had great ideas for locations after we gave them an idea of what we were looking for. They were so patient with us, we showed up a few minutes late and they did not rush us at all, they made sure everything was done how we wanted and completely, regardless of time. The pictures came out beautifully. My husband and I are not good at the hand positioning and not looking like awkward strangers but they were so good with communicating and definitely gave us a relaxed feel. They were clear with the timeline for the wedding and showed up professional looking and even a few minutes early. Of course the hair & makeup was running behind but we were able to make up the time and start the wedding on time with even some downtime prior to the wedding. We did a 'first look' so we took many of our pictures prior to the wedding which was nice. Throughout the day Dan and Vicki worked so hard to get the shots, organize the families and keep us on schedule but while being so friendly and relaxed at the same time. It was about 112 degrees out and they worked right through it without a complaint (at least out loud haha). Vicki was great to have to keep an eye for details such as the dress laying properly, the crazy piece of hair that will never lay down, and keeping the frame clean. Throughout the wedding they were professional and we hardly noticed they were with us cause they just fit right in & were a part of the party. Overall- the pictures were beautiful and the personalities and work ethic of these two couldn't be better. So pleased with our decision, would definitely use them again/recommend to friends and family!

Starfish Studios (Dan and Vicki) along with their assistant Naya photographed our July 3rd wedding in Warren, NJ. We originally met them a year and half prior, when we hired them to shoot our engagement pictures. We were so thrilled with the outcome that we made the decision to fly them to NJ (we all live in FL) for our wedding. This was not a decision that we made lightly since there are a multitude of professional photographers in NY and NJ but we felt that Dan and Vicki had something that others did not.

We are so happy that we chose to work with them for our big day. They were shooting as we were getting ready separately and did not feel as if we had intrusive photographers there with us. It was truly like having a couple other friends join us...with cameras. During our actual ceremony I didn't even notice Dan taking pictures, however, we received gorgeous and detailed shots. It was amazing to not feel like our moment was being blocked from our friends and family as sometimes happens with other photographers. Dan was also able to get in the middle of our hora circle (brave man!!) and capture some hilarious and rare action shots. They will be some of our favorite photographs for the rest of our lives.

Starfish takes incredible photos but what makes them stand out is also their warmth and insight into what you would like on your big day. We were never treated as just another customer, but again, like friends who had their timeline carefully laid out.

We received our photos about 1 month after the event and cannot stop looking at them. We would highly recommend Starfish for any special moment in your life and we look forward to working with them again!

Absolute perfection

My only issue with Starfish is that I couldn’t cull my favorite photos because all of them were absolutely perfect. Danny and team were wonderful for their professionalism and Danny’s personality that puts everyone ease. He made sure all our special moments were captured.

Starfish Studios is a MUST!

Could not recommend Starfish Studios enough! The entire team - Danny, Chelsey, Lisa and Vicki - are not only extremely professional, they are so kind and easy to work with. From my initial outreach to gather pricing and service information, they went above and beyond and worked with us on budget. I felt comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process because of their communication and organization. Come to the weekend of our wedding...wow! Danny was onsite for our rehearsal dinner and I knew right away we made the right choice. He kept us moving, talking and laughing throughout all of our photos that night. Our wedding day was even more incredible with the team. They kept the timeline going with our large group and made sure we were relaxed and happy during all of our shots. Danny was even carrying my very heavy train, veil, bouquet and a margarita for me at one point! Our photos turned out better than I ever could have imagined. They are timeless and capture the entire weekend perfectly. I would give them twenty stars if I could and I truly could not recommend Starfish Studios enough. South Florida brides, they are a must!!

Vicki and Dan were phenomenal! From the first meeting to the wedding day, they were professional, fun and creative. I loved everything about our engagement shoot as well as our wedding day. We didn't give them much time on the wedding day as we didn't want a first look. Dan was not intimidated and he captured our day beautifully. I have so many great photos and not enough wall space... Starfish Studios was reasonably priced and very flexible with all my needs. I would recommend them and work with them again should I have an opportunity. Thank you Vicki and Dan!!!!!!!!!

I must admit I truly never realized what went into preparing for a wedding. My Wife should receive a medal. At times it was very overwhelming. That is why I am so thankful and pleased with Starfish Studios. With all we had to worry about, we never had to stress about the Photography. Daniel Coya and his team was so professional, prompt, assertive when needed (and there were a few times it was needed, Uncle Ted), and such a pleasure to work with. Best of all was the quality of the pictures. Some how they had even me looking pretty good, but only in a few pictures. I could not imagine anyone doing a better job than Starfish Studios, I would highly recommend their services.

Danny and Vicky are wonderful!! Not only did they spend and entire twelve hour day with us photographing our wedding, they came and met us at our venue beforehand and explained options on how we could do our photography. We chose to do a "first look" and complete most of our formal photography before our ceremony. I am so happy we did, it was fun and actually relaxing, and I am convinced we got way more pictures than we would have if we had waited until after the ceremony. Danny and Vicky are infectiously positive and enthsuiastic. You can tell they love what they do, and they do it well. They even seemed to have fun at our reception, photographing endlessly without being intrusive. Everyone loved them! I can not wait to make our album. I am so happy we chose them and they were available, I can not imagine a better team!

Starfish was amazing I can't say enough great things about them! They really went above a beyond to capture every aspect of our wedding day. They were super creative, professional, and you can tell that they genuinely cared. I've gotten SO many compliments on all of our photos and the variety we have to chose from. I absolutely look forward to shooting with them again in the future! Hopefully for our maternity photos one day! ;) we highly recommend starfish studios!

Starfish Studios- the best!!

Danny and Vicki were absolutely amazing from the start, with pre-wedding phone calls and details, they were both so professional, communicative, kind, and attentive. We could tell they were experts in what they do and decided to have them do both Photos & Videos.
On our wedding day, Danny and team exceeded our expectations with their professionalism and talent. Danny, with his friendly and warm personality had a way of making us, and our families feel comfortable, confident, and at ease early on and throughout. We are so happy with the amazing Photos and Videos that we received, they are all great! Starfish truly captured the love, happiness, and memories of the day. We also had their Photo Booth services and wow, so happy we made that decision. It’s great entertainment for guests and then you get all the pictures on a link, so fun to see the candid pics of our family and friends having a great time! I can not thank Vicki and Dan enough! The week before our wedding the original photographer we had hired disappeared! In a panic I contacted my wedding coordinator at The Addison Helene Parsons and within minutes she had Vicki come in contact with me. She was so warm and comforting my full blown panic attack subsided. She was able to fit our wedding into their schedule at a price we could afford.

I did not get to meet Vicki and Dan until the day of our wedding because of the short notice so needless to say I was a little nervous to see how things were going to turn out that day. Very quickly I realized there was nothing to be nervous about, I felt as though I had already met them numerous times and the photos Dan would show me throughout the day were breathtaking!

They make an amazing team and are extremely professional! Every email or phone call I made to them was returned immediately, and the pictures were absolutely amazing! I can't thank them enough for what they did for me and my husband on such short notice and I can't wait to get together with them again to make our wedding album!

Daniel Coya was amazing!!! He arrived earlier than expected to set up and get familiar with the hotel grounds. He got a ton of pre- wedding photos of the wedding party getting ready. He was so friendly and professional...I still get compliments on what a great job he did! And he stayed well beyond what was expected of him. Our day was amazing and Daniel Coya captured it perfectly!

My husband and I hired Starfish Studios for our wedding photography and videography, and they did not disappoint! From the moment my husband and I met with Danny and his wife Vicki, we knew we wanted to hire them for our wedding. They’re both very sweet, genuine people, and you can immediately tell that Danny is really passionate about what he does, which really shows on your wedding day.

On the day of the wedding, Danny and his team were absolutely AMAZING! They were ALWAYS in the right place at the right time, documenting the day without being intrusive and letting you enjoy your day. Even with all the chaos of the wedding day, he was able to keep us calm and laughing while taking our photos. He made everything so fun and relaxing… we felt like we were celebrities! lol

I also think that having Danny manage both the photography and videography made the day run more smoothly. He knew exactly how to coordinate everything so that we stayed on time while getting all the pictures we requested in. You could just see how hard he and his team were working to capture everything and we couldn’t be more appreciative.

We’re still waiting to get our final photos and video, but I have no doubt that they will be amazing. My husband and I are so looking forward to seeing the final results. Danny and Vicki, thank you so so much for everything! :)

Starfish Studios is AMAZING! Danny is so professional and so easy to work with. I had bridesmaids ask if he would fly out for their wedding because they loved him so much- without even seeing the product! Starfish Studios help to capture the magic of our wedding

For us, one of the most difficult parts of planning our wedding was selecting the right photographer. Like everyone, we wanted someone who would not only capture our wedding, but also provide a stunning record to remind us how special it was.

Upon perusing their catalogue, we knew we had stumbled upon a very special photographer. The look and feel of their photos were breathtaking. The portfolio showed us photos that were very minimally edited, just enough to enhance the colors and create the typical ethereal feel of wedding photos, but they never overdid it, so the finished product emphasized the natural beauty of the subject with a touch of magic.

Our correspondence with Starfish Studios was always quick and professional. We were especially impressed with how flexible they were. Our budget was tight, and we valued our privacy quite a bit, so they were able to work with us every step of the way. Not only were they willing to work with our budget, but they were even willing to let us modify their agreement with privacy clauses.

Unfortunately, the lead photographer was unavailable the day of our wedding, so we were placed in the capable hands of Patty, the associate photographer. She ended up being a dream to work with. Not only was she omnipresent throughout our wedding, but she was also a consummate professional. She knew which shots she wanted, how to compose them, and directed us thusly. We fully appreciated how particular she was because we knew she just wanted the best possible photos of us.

With such a keen eye and the means to capture the vision, Patty and Starfish Studios delivered breathtaking photos that really captured the magic of our wedding.

Danny and the entire Starfish team were exceptional. Danny is incredible talented and such a great person to work with. Throughout my entire wedding weekend, he made me feel comfortable, calm, and beautiful! He captured all the important moments without being "in your face." Every single guest had the most amazing things to say about him. I wish I could get married again to have him be a part of my day.

My dad wrote this email to Danny and his team:

Dear Danny,

We still have not caught our breath since Mary's big wedding weekend; we now are clearing our apartment for a summer's-long renovation.

But I don't want any more time to pass without telling you all how extremely impressed we were with your involvement as the 'official photographer.'

Danny, you and your team were absolutely the best. You were unobtrusively in the middle of the action throughout and, over the course of our two days together, you became everyone's favorite participants.

Photography often comes out best when the photographer and subjects relate to one another. Pictures may just be images captured with a lens, but when the person taking those pictures genuinely cares about the subject, that's when magic happens.

From the very first meeting at Starbucks to the end of our wedding night, Dan & Vicki (Starfish Studios) made my wife and I feel like the most important people in the world, like they were as interested and invested in this occasion as we were. And you can see that passion and dedication in our pictures.

At the wedding, they managed to catch every moment, no matter how sentimental or wacky. They seemed to be everywhere which is crazy, because we never once felt like they were in the way at all. They blended into the festivities as if they were just part of the décor.

We had a really good feeling about Starfish Studios from the beginning and we're glad we decided to follow our instincts, because we were rewarded with fantastic photos that will help us remember our wedding day forever.

I have used many photographers in my life and I have never been so impressed as I was with Starfish Studios. This husband and wife team was punctual, professional and paid attention to detail. They went over and beyond to meet all out expectations. When arriving at my house, they began staging some of the pictures they were going to take. They treated my home as if it were theirs. Not for a moment did I feel like I had stangers in the house. Very quickly they brought a calming to an otherwise crazy day. Not only were we impressed with the professional aspects of using Starfish Studios, but we were in awe with how they worked togther as partners. They were a beautiful example of love and respect.

My wedding was complete when they suggested getting pictures of me and my little pug, Samantha. They offered me assistance in other areas, over and beyond their jobs as photographers. I plan on working with Starfish in the near future and have already referred them to friends.

We got married this past July 2018. Danny and his crew were professional, organized, and efficient. The knew exactly what they were doing and took care of everything. Danny is also a very nice guy and makes you feel comfortable and carefree! My wedding album is absolutely beautiful and really captures the day perfectly, which is something that you want to feel when you look back through them. I highly suggest getting him to stay with you from the very beginning (detail shots) to the end. The detail shots are so well done, as were all the others! Thank you, Starfish, for providing us with very special and beautiful captured memories.

I completely recommend Starfish Studios to anyone looking for wonderful photographers and great people! They were so lovely to work with from the beginning. We used them for engagement photos, wedding photography, videography and a photo booth. We really liked the fact that they offered all of the services we wanted for the wedding. Not only were Victoria and Danny incredibly professional and helpful throughout the entire process, but the whole team was amazing! Everyone was so kind, and really made sure that everything ran smoothly leading up to, and on the wedding day. I don’t have anything bad to say! Starfish was by far the best vendor on our wedding day!

Danny & team we’re incredible beginning from outreach on day 1. Starfish was extremely flexible and willing to add/remove anything we wanted leading up to our wedding day. They were responsive, punctual and all around great! On our wedding day, Danny’s calm and efficient way of shooting made everything go seamless & he made sure to shoot all requested pictures. We have a family of 50+ and he made this as smooth as possible. Before he left, he checked in to make sure all the shots we wanted were taken.
