Engagement shoot.

My fiancé and I had an absolute wonderful experience with Starfish Studios (Danny) for our engagement photos! From the beginning, their communication was clear, timely, and reassuring. They were incredibly personable, which made the entire process feel natural and comfortable.

During the shoot, they guided us with ease- offering helpful direction without ever making anything feel forced. My dance and intend to be a bit camera-shy, but they put us completely at ease and helped us relax and genuinely enjoy the moment. The results speak for themselves; the photos came out beautifully and we couldn’t be happier!

Starfish Studios help to capture the magic of our wedding

For us, one of the most difficult parts of planning our wedding was selecting the right photographer. Like everyone, we wanted someone who would not only capture our wedding, but also provide a stunning record to remind us how special it was.

Upon perusing their catalogue, we knew we had stumbled upon a very special photographer. The look and feel of their photos were breathtaking. The portfolio showed us photos that were very minimally edited, just enough to enhance the colors and create the typical ethereal feel of wedding photos, but they never overdid it, so the finished product emphasized the natural beauty of the subject with a touch of magic.

Our correspondence with Starfish Studios was always quick and professional. We were especially impressed with how flexible they were. Our budget was tight, and we valued our privacy quite a bit, so they were able to work with us every step of the way. Not only were they willing to work with our budget, but they were even willing to let us modify their agreement with privacy clauses.

Unfortunately, the lead photographer was unavailable the day of our wedding, so we were placed in the capable hands of Patty, the associate photographer. She ended up being a dream to work with. Not only was she omnipresent throughout our wedding, but she was also a consummate professional. She knew which shots she wanted, how to compose them, and directed us thusly. We fully appreciated how particular she was because we knew she just wanted the best possible photos of us.

With such a keen eye and the means to capture the vision, Patty and Starfish Studios delivered breathtaking photos that really captured the magic of our wedding.

Beautiful pictures, helpful and kind people

Starfish Studios took beautiful picture and were so easy to work with! They immediately answered my emails, scheduled appointments to helpfully walk us through logistics. Shout out to Patty, their associate photographer, who did both our engagement shoot and our wedding day pictures. Patty was professional, friendly, patient, and arrived on time. She gave good guidance and took lovely pictures. It did take a few weeks to get the pictures back, but every picture was absolutely perfect. Thank you Starfish Studios!

Fantastic Photographer & Videographer!

Photo and video was extremely important to us as it was something that would last a lifetime. Danny and his team are the absolute best! They made us feel so comfortable in both our engagement photos and on wedding day. He ran the show so we didn't have to worry about it on wedding day and the photos and videos are STUNNING!! Not to mention their customer services has been great before, during and after our wedding. We couldn't be more grateful to have had them as our photographers and videographers!

Amazing Photography/Videography Team!

Danny and the entire Starfish Studios team is the best! From their high quality photos to their incredible team, Starfish was with us every step of the way. They scheduled our engagement shoot and worked with us to create a detailed timeline and shot list that we wanted for our Wedding day. Then, from traveling back-and-forth from our church ceremony to our wedding venue, the team was with us every part of the day, with multiple photographers and videographers to capture all of our special moments! We had a great experience with starfish! They took both our engagement and wedding day photos. I personally find these types of photos incredibly awkward and unnatural but they were able to capture authentic moments between us as a couple and then with our guests. They are a well known, recommend vendor at many of the main wedding venues and their customer service and the partnership certainly shows why!

Starfish Studios is a MUST!

Could not recommend Starfish Studios enough! The entire team - Danny, Chelsey, Lisa and Vicki - are not only extremely professional, they are so kind and easy to work with. From my initial outreach to gather pricing and service information, they went above and beyond and worked with us on budget. I felt comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process because of their communication and organization. Come to the weekend of our wedding...wow! Danny was onsite for our rehearsal dinner and I knew right away we made the right choice. He kept us moving, talking and laughing throughout all of our photos that night. Our wedding day was even more incredible with the team. They kept the timeline going with our large group and made sure we were relaxed and happy during all of our shots. Danny was even carrying my very heavy train, veil, bouquet and a margarita for me at one point! Our photos turned out better than I ever could have imagined. They are timeless and capture the entire weekend perfectly. I would give them twenty stars if I could and I truly could not recommend Starfish Studios enough. South Florida brides, they are a must!!

The absolute best!

Before getting married myself, I had been already been a bridesmaid 5 times. Each wedding had a different photographer. My friend Jenna had used Starfish and I told her that day whenever I get married I have to use them. Danny and his group are the absolute best. I loved their vision and also his calm demeanor on a day that can be pretty stressful as you want everything to be perfect. Danny and Vicki were absolutely amazing from the start, with pre-wedding phone calls and details, they were both so professional, communicative, kind, and attentive. We could tell they were experts in what they do and decided to have them do both Photos & Videos.

Absolutely Perfect!

Danny and his team are absolutely amazing! We postponed our wedding twice and they graciously worked with us to reschedule. On a day when nerves are high, Danny and his team were so calm, efficient, and a pleasure to spend the day with. So many of our wedding guests mentioned how impressed they were with the photographers/videographers and how they were subtly in the background capturing every moment. Starfish Studios was ONE OF THE BEST parts of our wedding day! The team is so professional and super FUN. Starfish was by far the best vendor on our wedding day!

Danny & team we’re incredible beginning from outreach on day 1. Starfish was extremely flexible and willing to add/remove anything we wanted leading up to our wedding day. They were responsive, punctual and all around great! On our wedding day, Danny’s calm and efficient way of shooting made everything go seamless & he made sure to shoot all requested pictures. We have a family of 50+ and he made this as smooth as possible. Before he left, he checked in to make sure all the shots we wanted were taken. He has already shared a sneak peek with us and we cannot wait for the final photos & videos. His personality and work are both absolutely amazing and I would recommend him to anyone!

Danny is the BEST photographer in South FL and probably the world!

Danny and his wife helped me coordinate everything from out of town (Chicago) and made sure my day went off without a hitch. They were thorough, professional, punctual, and so sweet. Danny arrived on time with his assistant the day of my wedding and was so efficient and talented. He made sure we got all the pics we wanted while doing it in the quickest way possible. We took pics at the Delray Marriott and at the Addison (our wedding venue) so he also traveled for me. We also used them for our photo booth which was a huge hit with the guests. Danny was funny, nice, and knew what he was doing. You could tell he was a professional. I just received my pics this week and I am blown away by how good they are. His editing skills are unmatched. Every pic makes everyone look good and he got all the shots we had discussed before hand. Cannot recommend Starfish Studios enough!!!!!

We got married this past July 2018. Danny and his crew were professional, organized, and efficient. The knew exactly what they were doing and took care of everything. Danny is also a very nice guy and makes you feel comfortable and carefree! My wedding album is absolutely beautiful and really captures the day perfectly, which is something that you want to feel when you look back through them. I highly suggest getting him to stay with you from the very beginning (detail shots) to the end. The detail shots are so well done, as were all the others! Danny and his crew were amazing! I'm one of those girls who gets awkward whens she has to pose alone so Danny was very helpful and hands on! Helped me smile, laugh, loosen up when my awkward stiffness kicked in, etc. We made a list for pictures with immediate family to occur right after the ceremony. Family dynamics are intense so I appreciated how structured& efficient his timeline was. I tell ya, everyone from The Addison & vendors they recommend were immaculate. They truly are a well oiled machine. Still waiting on pictures, which is to be expected. I mean 2 photographers and thousands of images to edit...have to be patient. I know I will be in love with them all. Danny& his team really portray the style of pictures I am drawn to. I know one vendor who is incredibly crucial in every bride's budget is the photographer. Starfish is worth every penny. You will not be disappointed!

Danny and the entire Starfish team were exceptional. Danny is incredible talented and such a great person to work with. Throughout my entire wedding weekend, he made me feel comfortable, calm, and beautiful! He captured all the important moments without being "in your face." Every single guest had the most amazing things to say about him. I wish I could get married again to have him be a part of my day.

Danny is a true professional. Starfish Studios did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos (3/17/18) and were a true joy to work with. They made the entire process easy. They are so familiar with South Florida locations that they were able to walk me through a timeline of exactly what my wedding day would be like very early on in the process, which really helped me as I organized and planned. Danny also suggested several beautiful locations both for our engagement photos in West Palm Beach and our first look photos at South Inlet Park in Boca Raton. My fiancé (now husband!) was apprehensive about the engagement photos and Danny totally put him at ease with his friendly and easy-going manner. His directions for posing let us be ourselves and made us feel comfortable and natural, and our photos were stunning. On our wedding day, Danny was prompt and helped make sure everyone stuck to our timeline. He even helped with some last minute “emergencies”- when my veil arrived late to the venue he helped put my veil in right before photos (and it looked great)! We decided to extend our DJ and bar package for an hour, and although Danny was not obligated to stay the extra hour, he did on his own to make sure he captured the final sparkler exit. That gesture was just so above and beyond and truly shows his commitment to each of his client’s events. Throughout the process, Danny and Vicki have a way of making you feel like you are the only couple/bride/wedding in the world, even though they occasionally have three in one weekend. I can’t recommend them enough!

I honestly loved Danny and his crew. Vicki and her assistant were very responsive on answering every email and all questions. My husband and I hired Starfish Studios for our wedding photography and videography, and they did not disappoint! From the moment my husband and I met with Danny and his wife Vicki, we knew we wanted to hire them for our wedding. They’re both very sweet, genuine people, and you can immediately tell that Danny is really passionate about what he does, which really shows on your wedding day.

On the day of the wedding, Danny and his team were absolutely AMAZING! They were ALWAYS in the right place at the right time, documenting the day without being intrusive and letting you enjoy your day. Even with all the chaos of the wedding day, he was able to keep us calm and laughing while taking our photos. He made everything so fun and relaxing… we felt like we were celebrities! lol

I also think that having Danny manage both the photography and videography made the day run more smoothly. He knew exactly how to coordinate everything so that we stayed on time while getting all the pictures we requested in. You could just see how hard he and his team were working to capture everything and we couldn’t be more appreciative.

We’re still waiting to get our final photos and video, but I have no doubt that they will be amazing. My husband and I are so looking forward to seeing the final results. Danny and Vicki, thank you so so much for everything! :)

Like many brides, securing a wedding photographer was the first thing on my checklist! Starfish Studios was a preferred vendor for my venue and while I was careful to look through all available options, I knew they were going to be the right choice.

Danny is the exact kind of photographer you want with you on your wedding day. From the boys running late to it raining outside halfway during pictures, the day wasn't without hiccups, but he put me at ease and handled it all with care. He was super fun, energetic and knows how to bring out the best in people. Not to mention, the photos turned out amazing!

Starfish Studios was one of the first vendors we booked after getting engaged - and to this day, was the best decision we made during the entire wedding-planning process. From the photo quality (too stunning for words) and the professionalism and talent, Danny and Vicki are just the best. They shot our engagement session, which they suggested an incredible location for, and our wedding day. We received so many compliments not only on the finished product, but on the professionalism and efficiency. Any other photographer/company would have required two photographers on site for the wedding, but Danny was able to get it all done by himself. I could go on and on about how great they are and about how fabulous the end result is, and I 100% wholeheartedly recommend them to any bride-to-be. You won't be disappointed.

Vicky and Danny are a wonderful team to work with. Vicky is incredibly responsive with any questions or concerns you may have pre and post wedding. And the day of the wedding Danny was absolutely fantastic! My guests even loved our photographer. They were flexible to accommodations, able to keep up with a rowdy bunch of groomsmen and captured every image we requested. We had our images to us within 40 days following the wedding and when we asked for them to check for an image we were missing they dug around and found it. From the moment I saw the pictures on their website I knew I was interested. After meeting with Vicki and Danny I knew I didn't want to look any further! They were both so sweet and Danny spoke about photography with such a passion! Vicki was great through out the planning and was always available to answer any questions I had. The day of the wedding Danny called me to tell me they had welcomed a baby just two days before! He let me know he was bringing a second shooter just in case he needed to leave early. He never left early and had he not told me his wife was in the hospital, I would have never even guessed it. He was 100% there! Super professional and detail oriented. It even rained on my wedding day and Danny was there checking the radar constantly making sure we could get all our pictures outside, made sure there was towels on the ground so my dress wouldn't get dirty, they picked up my bouquets so we would have them available for first look pictures! Danny and the team truly went above and beyond and I am so happy we chose them to capture our special day because our pictures came out beautiful!

We purchased a short engagement shoot and eight hours of wedding day coverage from Starfish, and we could not be happier with our choice. Vicki was a pleasure to work with from the beginning, through all the emails and phone conversations. When we first met Dan at our engagement shoot in downtown Delray, we were so impressed by how personable and knowledgeable he is. My husband and I were a bit camera shy at first, but he made us feel comfortable by telling us what to do and making us smile. When we got the engagement photos they were beautiful, and we got a huge quantity from only about an hour's worth of shooting. On the wedding day, Dan was beyond perfect, and his assistant was very nice too. I could tell that they had scoped out the area around our hotel because he knew the perfect spot to take beach photos after the ceremony. He has a serious talent for always finding creative angles, shots, and locations. I also love that he shows you some of the photos on his camera when he's just taken ones that he really likes. Our wedding photos turned out so well, and we have gotten so many compliments. If I could hire Dan to photograph every important event in my life, I totally would.

Danny and Vicki are absolutely the best. I am incredibly picky with photographers, so I scoured through them all around the South Florida area, and trust me...Starfish is by far the best. They capture every moment you could ever want in a classic, beautiful, un-obtrusive way. We got the largest package, which included an engagement shoot, and I am so glad we did. Danny made us feel comfortable and relaxed, and we had a blast with him. The quality of their photographs is truly incomparable; they are the best. Danny and Vicky are amazing. During the planning process, they made us feel so comfortable. I had to change the package and dates we chose a few times due to a family illness, and they were so wonderful and accommodating. Othey went through the timeline for the day with us many times and really set a professional tone. On the day of, Danny was awesome about directing us for portraits to get the best shot and at the reception, he was so non-intrusive that I almost never noticed him taking pictures, but he got so many great ones. Prior to the wedding, they made sure to thoroughly review our timeline for the day and make a note of all the photo requests on our wish-list. Day-of could not have gone smoother despite challenges (aka pouring rain all day long). Danny is a dream to work with. He does an amazing job at making you feel so comfortable and at ease. I had a huge pimple the day of my wedding (every bride's dream) and he immediately made me feel beautiful and stunning and unfocused on my pimple. I've never really taken professional photos, but Danny takes care of making you pose just right so that you look your best. I didn't feel any pressure at all. Pouring rain stopped us from getting all the photos on our wishlist, but Danny's excitement about the photos we were able to get was infectious. Can't wait to see all the final results. So true-- choosing Danny and Vicki for your wedding day IS the BEST decision you will make. They're incredible. Danny's personality is perfect for the job. He makes you feel comfortable, is enthusiastic, and extremely efficient. Nothing seems to get him upset and he is great at rolling with the punches and improvising. We were running late but Danny helped get us back on track. He was always around for when we wanted a posed picture at the reception but was never "in your face". His photos are beautiful. Definitely the BEST vendor I used for my wedding by leaps and bounds. Would absolutely recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat. Just great.

Choosing starfish photography for your wedding is the best descision you will make.
From start to finish they are fantastic.

Before the wedding day- They are great at responding to any emails, questions you may have. They create a timeline of your wedding day which takes the pressure off the bride and groom as you know what time everything is going to happen.

Oh your wedding day- Danny and his team arrive and make you feel so at ease. He is so friendly and makes everyone feel comfortable. They are there taking amazing pictures but sometimes you forget, as the don't impose on your special moments. To top it off we also hired the photo booth that the guests loved.

On our wedding day it rained so we were so upset we didn't get any bride and groom portraits, so starfish did a reshoot at no extra charge.

We now have the wedding pictures of our dreams and an unreal wedding video.

Vicki and Danny were very professional and gave me a great deal package that had included photography, photobooth, and videography. They were very reliable and they had always gotten back to me either via email or phone in a very prompt manner. My photos and video all came out to be amazing and all of our family and friends love the results. They were very easy to work with especially on our wedding day, they made us feel very comfortable. Their turn around with the photos was about a month and was worth the wait. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants great service. They even had uploaded all of our photos to a server and I have access to them everywhere I go, right on my phone. They also gave me the rights to all of my photos so I can print them with any company I choose. Their package deal came with 8 hours of photo time on our wedding day, other vendors would only provide 4 hours for the same price. Thank you again for making our special day even more memorable!

Hiring Starfish Studios for your wedding is the best planning decision you can make! Dan and Vicki were absolutely wonderful to work with this past March on my wedding day. Vicki does a fabulous job coordinating and really listens to what you want for your photos. She was so easy when we switched our schedule from doing a first look to not doing one and kept everyone on schedule for the wedding day. She takes as much work off your hands as possible! Dan makes you feel so comfortable and has such a positive attitude that's contagious to everyone around. He has a wonderful eye for capturing the best shots in the best light and comes up with the best poses for your portraits. Everything looks so natural! Also, Dan truly blended into the reception and took such fun and hilarious photos of the dance party. When we first got our photos, my husband and I were both laughing and crying as we scrolled through the memories. They did such an incredible job capturing the true spirit of the day. In addition, they captured such beautiful candid moments that show the emotion we all were feeling. I really cannot thank them enough for the beautiful photos and capturing all our special memories. I was beyond pleased with Starfish Studios on my wedding day. Vicki and Dan made us feel so comfortable. Dan did not stop all night. He even put up with all my family's crazy picture requests. Vicki is very professional and kept in touch with me leading up to the event. They made everything very easy and stress free. I highly recommend Starfish Studios!!

Starfish Studios were absolutely amazing -- from start to finish.

From the first time we met with Dan & Vicki, we knew we wanted to hire them. They set up an easy-to-follow timeline for the day of the event, and built in extra time to make sure we stayed on track. And on the day of we did. We stuck with the timeline and there was no stress at all.

We had two photographers on the day of (Dan & Naya), as well as an assistant. All 3 were wonderful. Easy going, fun and professional. They never made us feel like we needed to rush or hurry up. And the photos are AMAZING. They're so talented and take such quality photos, and they truly captured the entire day -- didn't miss a moment.

Vicki was amazing with customer service, keeping in touch with me, as well as providing referrals for other vendors.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Starfish Studios. Worth every penny!

Vicki and Dan were amazing to work with. Talk about ying and yang: Dan is incredibly creative, fun and easy-going while Vicki is sweet, methodical and very organized. This made for a fun and stress-free wedding day, as they handled all of the details and made sure everything went according to plan no matter how frazzled we all were. Plus, Dan and his photo assistant were so gracious during the reception, happily snapping away shots of every guest who asked to have their picture taken. Highly recommend these two!

We could not have been happier with Starfish Studios. Our pictures came out absolutely beautiful. Vicki was extremely professional, responsive, and responsible. I did not need to micromanage at all as she was on top of every detail well in advance of our wedding day. Danny was artistic in his approach while capturing every moment. He seemed to be everywhere but was completely unobtrusive throughout the event. We are so pleased with Starfish, and would definitely recommend them.

My husband and I are in LOVE with our pictures! We are still trying to decide which ones we want made to hang in our house! Starfish Studios was the perfect vendor for us because they captured our day beautifully and were so incredibly good at making you feel comfortable. Amazing job!

I am writing this review before i have received all of my photos, but I have no doubt that Danny did an excellent job. I felt completely at ease with the main photographer and his assistants on the day of the event. I skyped with Danny and his wife months before the wedding since I was planning it from afar. They were very flexible in working with us. Their services were extremely reasonable and I know the photos are going to be gorgeous. All of their work is beautiful and I am 100% glad I went with them.

Starfish Studios did an amazing job capturing our special day. Dan and Vicki are so professional and are the perfect team. We had our engagement photos taken first at the beach and they were so cooperative about all the ideas we had, we were even able to bring our two dogs with us to be part of our engagement shoot. Our wedding album is even more incredible than that (and it was tough to beat because the engagement shoot was fantastic). They arrived on time with smiles on their faces and immediately got to work. They were so helpful and courteous, it was obvious they had a lot of experience. They were very specific on the items to bring on the actual day of the wedding so that they were able to capture all the details, form the wedding dress to the rings, to invitations, etc. The months up to the wedding day were also very well planned. Vicki and I exchanged emails numerously and she replied within a good amount of time always. I would not have had it any other way. There are so many photos that I want to have printed out! The photos themselves are so beautiful and the quality is the best. If I had to do it over I would definitely pick Starfish Studios a million times over! Best photographers around!!!

We used Starfish Studios for our photography for our wedding. I have the highest recommendations for them for wedding photography because of my experience. They captured the day beautifully, when I got my photos from them (pretty quickly after my wedding), I felt like I relived my wedding day looking at them again! They did an amazing day capturing the entire feeling and experience of our wedding day! Dan was very flexible, laid back and put my mind at ease on my wedding day! I felt that I was in good hands, and I was! I have SO many photos, it's hard to choose which ones are my favorite! Vicki was always very prompt and professional in communication and the quality of service from the both is great! Overall, i have nothing but good things to say about this company!

I can not thank Vicki and Dan enough! The week before our wedding the original photographer we had hired disappeared! In a panic I contacted my wedding coordinator at The Addison Helene Parsons and within minutes she had Vicki come in contact with me. She was so warm and comforting my full blown panic attack subsided. She was able to fit our wedding into their schedule at a price we could afford.

I did not get to meet Vicki and Dan until the day of our wedding because of the short notice so needless to say I was a little nervous to see how things were going to turn out that day. Very quickly I realized there was nothing to be nervous about, I felt as though I had already met them numerous times and the photos Dan would show me throughout the day were breathtaking!

They make an amazing team and are extremely professional! Every email or phone call I made to them was returned immediately, and the pictures were absolutely amazing! I can't thank them enough for what they did for me and my husband on such short notice and I can't wait to get together with them again to make our wedding album!

Vicki and Dan were phenomenal! From the first meeting to the wedding day, they were professional, fun and creative. I loved everything about our engagement shoot as well as our wedding day. We didn't give them much time on the wedding day as we didn't want a first look. Dan was not intimidated and he captured our day beautifully. I have so many great photos and not enough wall space... Starfish Studios was reasonably priced and very flexible with all my needs. I would recommend them and work with them again should I have an opportunity. Thank you Vicki and Dan!!!!!!!!!

Starfish Studios did an over the top amazing job for our wedding photos. Vicki was quick to respond to all my questions and provided a schedule for the wedding day. Danny and Naya were there from start to finish on the day of our wedding. Danny definitely kept us relaxed and breathing during photos and kept picture taking fun and stress free. He was wonderful at assisting with getting family together and organized for photos. Most of the time we didn't even realize he was taking pictures. They blended in so well at the wedding it was as if they were a guest. We have so many wonderful pictures it's hard to narrow them down for a wedding album. They are wonderful people to work with, highly professional and I would recommend them for your special event. We can't wait to use them again in the future for another occasion!

We found Dan and Vicki, Starfish Studios, from reading other reviews and now I know why they were so great. We picked a package from a nice variety that worked for us, which was great a value for the service we received. Vicki was always quick to email me back with my questions. We planned the engagement shoot and they had great ideas for locations after we gave them an idea of what we were looking for. They were so patient with us, we showed up a few minutes late and they did not rush us at all, they made sure everything was done how we wanted and completely, regardless of time. The pictures came out beautifully. My husband and I are not good at the hand positioning and not looking like awkward strangers but they were so good with communicating and definitely gave us a relaxed feel. They were clear with the timeline for the wedding and showed up professional looking and even a few minutes early. Of course the hair & makeup was running behind but we were able to make up the time and start the wedding on time with even some downtime prior to the wedding. We did a 'first look' so we took many of our pictures prior to the wedding which was nice. Throughout the day Dan and Vicki worked so hard to get the shots, organize the families and keep us on schedule but while being so friendly and relaxed at the same time. It was about 112 degrees out and they worked right through it without a complaint (at least out loud haha). Vicki was great to have to keep an eye for details such as the dress laying properly, the crazy piece of hair that will never lay down, and keeping the frame clean. Throughout the wedding they were professional and we hardly noticed they were with us cause they just fit right in & were a part of the party. Overall- the pictures were beautiful and the personalities and work ethic of these two couldn't be better. So pleased with our decision, would definitely use them again/recommend to friends and family!

I have used many photographers in my life and I have never been so impressed as I was with Starfish Studios. This husband and wife team was punctual, professional and paid attention to detail. They went over and beyond to meet all out expectations. When arriving at my house, they began staging some of the pictures they were going to take. They treated my home as if it were theirs. Not for a moment did I feel like I had stangers in the house. Very quickly they brought a calming to an otherwise crazy day. Not only were we impressed with the professional aspects of using Starfish Studios, but we were in awe with how they worked togther as partners. They were a beautiful example of love and respect.

My wedding was complete when they suggested getting pictures of me and my little pug, Samantha. They offered me assistance in other areas, over and beyond their jobs as photographers. I plan on working with Starfish in the near future and have already referred them to friends.

Danny and Vicki with Starfish Studios surpassed all of our expectations, we couldn't be happier with the final results! With less than 6 months of planning time, I was very worried about finding a quality, dependable photographer. Thankfully, through a recommendation by a friend I found Starfish Studios.

Vicki was very helpful in the planning and made sure I was comfortable with the schedule for the big day. When we met the morning of the wedding, I immediately felt at ease. Danny and Vicki are the nicest photography couple you could ever meet. They were friendly, easy to talk to, and were very organized. Vicki stepped right in to help with anything and everything I needed, from holding my makeup in her fanny pack to helping me wiggle into my dress; she was there every step of the way.

Danny was very sweet and was easy to work with, as my husband and I had never had professional pictures taken before. From the final product, you would never even know...the photos came out beautiful, like they should be in a magazine. I was not sure if I would regret not having a videographer, but with Starfish Studios taking my pictures, I didn't need one. Danny captured every emotion and each special moment throughout our entire wedding day in a very honest photojournalistic style.

We received so many compliments that night on how great Starfish Studios was, especially Danny who was rolling in the sand just to get the perfect shot ;) For my intimate wedding, it felt just like they were one of the family! I would use them again and recommend them to any bride who wants amazing photographs at a reasonable price.

Starfish Studios (Dan and Vicki) along with their assistant Naya photographed our July 3rd wedding in Warren, NJ. We originally met them a year and half prior, when we hired them to shoot our engagement pictures. We were so thrilled with the outcome that we made the decision to fly them to NJ (we all live in FL) for our wedding. This was not a decision that we made lightly since there are a multitude of professional photographers in NY and NJ but we felt that Dan and Vicki had something that others did not.

We are so happy that we chose to work with them for our big day. They were shooting as we were getting ready separately and did not feel as if we had intrusive photographers there with us. It was truly like having a couple other friends join us...with cameras. During our actual ceremony I didn't even notice Dan taking pictures, however, we received gorgeous and detailed shots. It was amazing to not feel like our moment was being blocked from our friends and family as sometimes happens with other photographers. Dan was also able to get in the middle of our hora circle (brave man!!) and capture some hilarious and rare action shots. They will be some of our favorite photographs for the rest of our lives.

Starfish takes incredible photos but what makes them stand out is also their warmth and insight into what you would like on your big day. We were never treated as just another customer, but again, like friends who had their timeline carefully laid out.

We received our photos about 1 month after the event and cannot stop looking at them. We would highly recommend Starfish for any special moment in your life and we look forward to working with them again!

Photography often comes out best when the photographer and subjects relate to one another. Pictures may just be images captured with a lens, but when the person taking those pictures genuinely cares about the subject, that's when magic happens.

From the very first meeting at Starbucks to the end of our wedding night, Dan & Vicki (Starfish Studios) made my wife and I feel like the most important people in the world, like they were as interested and invested in this occasion as we were. And you can see that passion and dedication in our pictures.

At the wedding, they managed to catch every moment, no matter how sentimental or wacky. They seemed to be everywhere which is crazy, because we never once felt like they were in the way at all. They blended into the festivities as if they were just part of the décor.

We had a really good feeling about Starfish Studios from the beginning and we're glad we decided to follow our instincts, because we were rewarded with fantastic photos that will help us remember our wedding day forever.

Vicki and Danny are two of the most FABULOUS people I have met! The first time I met them I KNEW they MUST shoot our wedding. Besides having the MOST UMBELIEVABLE pictures they could not be any sweeter. Vicki is so great with communication and covered everything even making sure we could get my 'must have' shots. I truly enjoyed the entire experience with Starfish Studios from day one. They were such a pleasure to work with. A permanent go to for events. They are a sweet couple yet so professional and dedicated. I had started my search and others had so so portfolios. After browsing just a few in their portfolio we felt that they were great and we were right! I have attended events where photographers were in the way too eager for the shot, dressed inappropriate for the event, or not motivated enough. Starfish Studios are the greatest. All agreed they were extremely pleasant and professional. To top it off, when we received our photos, we were surprised at how well they came out. I now undstand what they mean be their photojournalistic approach. Danny and Vicky are wonderful!! Not only did they spend and entire twelve hour day with us photographing our wedding, they came and met us at our venue beforehand and explained options on how we could do our photography. We chose to do a "first look" and complete most of our formal photography before our ceremony. I am so happy we did, it was fun and actually relaxing, and I am convinced we got way more pictures than we would have if we had waited until after the ceremony. Danny and Vicky are infectiously positive and enthsuiastic. You can tell they love what they do, and they do it well. They even seemed to have fun at our reception, photographing endlessly without being intrusive. Everyone loved them! I can not wait to make our album. I am so happy we chose them and they were available, I can not imagine a better team!

We were so impressed with Starfish Studios and we loved working with Vicki and Dan before, during and after our wedding. In our initial conversations with Vicki and Dan we were struck by how easy -- and fun -- it was to discuss our wedding with them. They were not pushy at all (unlike some of the photographers we spoke with) and they had great ideas. They were genuinely excited for us and for our wedding plans. On our big day, we loved that they struck just the right balance. They were very professional but also fun, knowing how to keep us and our bridal party relaxed. And the photos speak for themselves! We love the shots they took. Each time I go back through them, I notice something new that I love. The lighting and angles and ideas they used were all wonderful. I would recommend them to any couples getting married in South Florida (or beyond!). We were doing the planning from DC and it was great to know that Vicki and Dan were able to make wonderful suggestions from within South Florida. Also -- I was very pleased with the value we got. Their prices are more than reasonable for the quality, professionalism and time commitment that you get. We're so glad we found them to photograph our wedding!

Dan and Vicki recently did engagement photos for us. We weren't sure what to expect but they made us feel so incredibly comfortable! We chatted throughout the shoot and by the end, felt like we were just hanging out with some friends. The photos came out absolutely beautiful, natural and romantic. From the very first meeting, Starfish Studios was wonderful. We hired them to photograph our wedding in Islamorada last fall. I had heard so many wonderful things about them and I was very excited to work with them. The day of the wedding, Danny came in while we were getting ready, and you would never even know he was there. He took some GORGEOUS pictures of my dress upstairs on the balcony overlooking the water, as well as pictures of me, my bridesmaids and my mom getting ready in the room. Later in the day, when my husband and I saw each other for the first time, Danny truly captured the moment. There's actually a series of pictures of us seeing us for the first time, where you can scroll through it quickly and actually watch it as if it were a movie. So cool! Both Danny and Vicki were very professional and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire day. Overall, the pictures of our wedding were so beautiful, and they captured the essense of what the day meant to us. All of my friends and family absolutely LOVED the pictures. I have recommended Starfish Studios to all of my closest friends. They are truly one-of-a-kind.

Starfish Studios met and exceeded all of our expectations! They were so easy to work with and the photos came out unbelievable. Everyone at the wedding enjoyed them and a few even wanted their information to use them for their upcoming events before even seeing the finished product. I couldn't give them a higher recommendation. I can only hope that if someone was looking for a professional, friendly, talented studio they would look no further than Starfish Studios. We couldn't be more grateful for the service they provided us and will most definitely use them again! 5 out of 5 stars for sure !!
