Dave and his team at Star Productions was incredible for our wedding day! From our initial meeting I knew he was exactly the time of person we were looking for -- prompt, personable, professional, and would cater to our exceptions for the day. From the flow of the ceremony music to the reception dances and speeches, Star Productions handled it all! I didn't worry about a thing day of thanks to Dave and his team! All the equipment was brought in by Star Productions and take away by the team, which made enjoying the day so much easier. And the DANCING MUSIC! I think the ENITRE wedding and all the guests danced for the last two hours! It was so FUN! Dave had so many fun ideas about how to include the guests in the wedding as well -- making each table sing a love song to the couple to be released for the buffet. Every. Single. Table. Sang. And so many people came up to us afterward to talk about how it was such a great idea. Seriously, Star Productions is who you NEED to pick for your wedding!!

Dave did an awesome job DJaying our daughter’s wedding. The dance floor was hopping the whole night. He even came out to lead a few line dances we wanted to do. The music & atmosphere is such a huge part of an event like this & Dave killed it! Everyone told us how much fun they had dancing. As a bonus his wife Becky was so helpful. Great team! Definitely would recommend hiring them.

Having Dave’s company at our Gala really made a huge impact at our event . His personality and energy made a big difference for our guests. His music 🎶 was enjoyable for all ages and he really showed everyone one a night to remember.

DJ Dave, though not our day-of DJ, went above and beyond by creating a beautiful tribute song for my father-daughter dance. He volunteered to splice together my dad's voice tracks into such a touching, meaningful song. It was beyond anything we could have imagined and a wonderful way to honor my late dad. There was not a dry eye in the place! Can't express my appreciation enough for his time, creativity, and care in crafting this; we were able to share it with friends and family that couldn't attend in-person, which helped connect them to the celebration.

Excellent service that made my wedding day even more amazing.
I was able to get in contact with David and DJ Bobby at anytime and they were willing to go through all details and made planning the entertainment portion of my wedding so easy. The photo booth was a big hit and DJ Bobby and his set up gave us bigger hits on the dance floor. Great experience with them due to their excellent service and communication.

DJ Dave is the man!! Beat dj in central oregon.
Wow, our experience with Dave was amazing. He was extremely thorough and knew all the right questions to ask to prepare us to have the ceremony and reception we dreamed of. You can tell he has a lot of experience, and wants your reception and ceremony to be exactly how you have envisioned it. He seriously thought of every detail. Our ceremony set up was perfect, the sound and mic he used we didn't have to hold and it projected everyone's voices perfectly. He was extremely professional and organized. The music for our reception was perfect. Dave did an awesome job balancing fun music everyone wanted to dance to and song requests( He will ask you how you want to deal with song requests, etc) the entire night our dance floor was packed! Everyone had a blast. He also had the best lighting, which was so much fun and really made it for an awesome dance party all night. I really couldn't have asked for more. He was a huge part of the entire day being perfect and I could not recommend him enough!

H&J Wedding
Everything with Dave was so seamless on our wonderful day, and he had a smile on his face for all of it. The preparation going into the day to make it as perfect as it was really took it to the next level for us.
Him and his assistant knew how to read a room, turn the party up when needed, and bringing the sentimental when needed. Our dance floor felt more like a concert at times, which kept it packed for a full 3 hours. We would recommend Dave in a heartbeat!

The most wonderful and helpful DJ
Not only was Dave an incredible DJ, but it was so helpful in every way as well. He met with us ahead of time and helped us plan out the whole night in the most logical order. He was so helpful before and after the ceremony and even made sure our glasses were full of beer all night! Dave acted as not only a DJ but a quasi coordinator as well and we really appreciated the extra help! Just amazing!

The BEST DJs in Central Oregon
Oh my gosh. If you are even considering it, book with Star Productions immediately! Dave and Jimbo were our sound team and I can’t give them enough stars. They had excellent communication before the wedding, and the website is really user friendly. They were so, so awesome in making sure our day was everything we wanted. They did our ceremony and reception sound and music. They worked hand-in-hand with our other vendors to make sure everything was coordinated, they kept the music going and matched the vibe perfectly, and were even down to help us have a little end of the night family dance party! Thank you, thank you to Dave and Jimbo!! You guys were fabulous!

Dave was nothing short of AMAZING. We didn’t hire a wedding planner or day of planner which was making me very nervous the week of the wedding. With how relatively simple and small our wedding was, Dave really took over and made sure everything went so smoothly. Best decision I made for the wedding day was hiring Dave. You won’t be disappointed!!

Logan is an excellent DJ
I had Logan as the DJ for my wedding, and he did an excellent job! He was energetic and excited to be a part of the party. He played the songs I gave him, but also mixed in crowd pleasers which my guests loved. He took requests and knew to listen to the guests when they requested special songs. A fantastic experience!

Dave was awesome in every aspect of the process. He was super helpful in the planning process and was very responsive. During the ceremony and reception, he kept everything flowing smoothly and kept the dance floor occupied all night long! He was also able to add videography to our package at the last minute and we couldn't be more grateful and appreciative of his flexibility. There were a lot of options out there but picking Dave was 100% the best choice!

This man is a party
I have now experienced DJ Dave twice! Once at my sister-in-law’s wedding and at my own. Dave is so easy to communicate with and he does an outstanding job at reading the crowd and playing their kind of music. He’s interactive and takes charge when needed. 10/10 recommend!

A True Professional
As a couple getting married away from home, there were lots of uncertainties that keep you up at night. If you're looking for a DJ in the Central Oregon area, Dave is the man. Every step of the way, he was accommodating and professional. Showed up early on the day of, worked great with our wedding planner, set up everything perfectly and kept the day moving smoothly. If I have the chance to refer him to family getting married in Oregon, I would.

Best Wedding DJ!
Our wedding was the best party we’ve ever been to! Everyone danced the whole time! Our DJ, Dave, kept up with all of our surprises to our guests the whole day, playing the associated music as planned. With very little back and forth communication needed, he nailed every moment all day long. We can’t imagine our wedding without him. Some of our favorite moments included him passing around a microphone to sing along during dancing and his announcement style. He was professional, discrete, but kept people doing what we needed them to do. He was hilarious when we wanted him to be. Thank you, Dave!

Fun, flexible DJ for Your Wedding
Our wedding planner recommended Star Productions highly, and we were not disappointed. We are in our 50s and had a tough time initially getting the dancing going - he was flexible, patient and ultimately pulled it off where no one wanted to get off the dance floor. Thanks for an amazing time getting these old dogs out on the floor to party!

Excellent DJ for daughters wedding
Dave was the DJ for our daughters wedding a few weeks ago. He was excellent ! Our guests had so much fun with the music and dancing to the karaoke to a few games. I had several guests tell me they thought he was the best they’ve seen at a wedding. He helped the wedding and reception move seamlessly. He was also super funny and kept us on point. I would highly recommend him. We had to deal with some challenging weather and he nicely set up speakers so we could be both outside for the wedding and possibly inside if we had to. We really appreciated his willingness to make everything work!

Dave was very helpful and always had a positive attitude. He was able to give suggestions when prepping for the wedding, whether when we were unsure about a song, or just needed someone to explain to us the basics of wedding protocols. Couldn't have done it without them!
Dave and Karli at Star Productions truly made our wedding day special. With their help everything ran smoothly and we can say it was a PERFECT day. Dave is so talented when it comes to coordination, crowd control, and music selection. He went above and beyond what we expected and we would book him again in a heartbeat. He was thorough, visited our venue beforehand, communicated with us often, answered our questions quickly, and assisted us with wedding details we hadn't even thought of. We were even able to add on some last minute videography and we are so glad we did. We can't thank Star Productions enough for their service and recommend them to everyone!

Dave & Team are Great
We were so happy we went with Dave. His responsiveness, professionalism, and years of experience made for a great wedding experience. He was always on-time, reliable, and worked with us well on music selections, including pre-ceremony walk-in music, ceremony music, processional music, dinner music, and reception music. He has all the equipment to be able to have music playing in two different rooms via a WIFI setup and provided a high quality microphone that picked up the officiant and us during the ceremony.
He also provides video services.
WE HIHGLY RECOMMEND.

Dynamic Dave!!
Watching Dave work a crowd was wonderful! He made sure all guests felt comfortable… and pretty much acted like a wedding coordinator at times! He was highly efficient with making the wedding go smoothly and on time!! I would highly recommend Dave and his wonderful crew!

Great company
My sister used star productions for her wedding and had a great experience so it was a no brainer for me to call Dave when I was planning my own wedding! His son produced a gorgeous video of our ceremony, which we recieved promptly 2 weeks after. Dave was a great officiant and DJ and had everything completely under control. Dave always responded within 24hrs and I never had any doubts about his reliability. He has been in the biz 40+ years and his experience shows through his work.

Exceeded ALL Expectations
Our wedding could not have happened without Dave and his wife Becky. Not only was Dave our DJ, he was also our officiant and videographer and somehow managed to do all 3 things seamlessly and with such a great attitude. Dave immediately felt like part of our family and I knew we were in the best of hands. His planning website made planning and picking out songs a breeze. I truly don't know how we could have done it without him. The amount of service we received was unreal in comparison to what he charged. Dave made our wedding so fun and was able to get everyone dancing and singing karaoke by the end of the night which is exactly what I wanted. Best decision ever!!

Best DJ wedding experience ever!
Dave was amazing!! He made everything so easy to plan, I never had to stress or worry about anything audio related. He truly made the wedding so special and made our vision come to life. Our dance party was epic!! Dave instinctively new what song to play at what time to keep the party flowing and the guests partying. We are so grateful for Dave!!! Music was the easiest part of the whole wedding planning process.

Amazing, everyone needs him at their wedding
Dave saved our wedding!!! He stepped up when our minister was unable to make it. The music was fun and he kept the wedding moving and had the guest interacting. Definitely made our wedding one to remember

Dave was the perfect DJ for our wedding! Our event was better then ever expected! All our guests had the best time and danced the night away. We had so many compliments on our DJ and the music. Dave was super interactive with the guests and really just felt like another family member out there on the dance floor. We can’t thank him enough! Would recommend him over and over again!

Awesome DJ
As a wedding venue owner, I’ve hosted hundreds of weddings and was particularly impressed with David. He was proactive and communicative in advance of the event and was very respectful to ensure sound level was acceptable.
I was also impressed with his spontaneity during the evening… reading the guests’ dance styles. Everyone was up in the dance floor and kept everyone engaged throughout the evening. Extremely professional and very affordable in his rates. Highly recommend.

Awesome DJ who got everyone on the dance floor!
We hired Dave for a 50th birthday party and he was just fantastic! We had a mix of kids and adults and he got everyone out of the dance floor! The music was great and kept the crowd on their feet. I got so many comments from our guests on how great our DJ was! If you want a stellar DJ, don’t hesitate and give him a call!

Best, Professional, yet FUN DJ Experience!
My wife and I had the pleasure to work with Dave as our wedding DJ. From the first zoom chat we knew we found a great DJ. Dave was easy to talk to, fun and eased all our worries to help set up everything from the ceremony music, microphones to an amazing dance party. Dave worked with our coordinator to nail all the last minute details down and keep us stress free on the day of our wedding. We had many family and friends say our wedding was one of the most fun weddings they have been to, and the DJ was a huge part to keep the energy up and people dancing until we were forced to turn the music off =]! We also got several amazing surprises after the wedding! Star Productions should be used by all who want a professional, friendly and fun DJ service.

Made the party a Success
David was wonderful. From our first phone call to the last dance, David took charge and made me feel confident we were in good hands. He got our party started off, everyone dancing and interacted with my daughter (the guest of honor) and her friends wonderfully. I cant say enough good things about him. In addition to his DJing, the photobooth was amazing, and was well stocked and run.

DJ Dave did all the music and videography for our wedding and the turnout was great! The music was all perfect and everyone there had a great time. He helped us out a ton and kept everyone on schedule as well with everything. Can't recommend his services enough! We will use him for any of our future party needs as well!

I known Dave ever since we were in Junior Achievement together in the late 1970’s.
What an outstanding person Dave has always been. In the early 1980’s I ran into Dave at Sacramento State college where we both were going to school. When I got married on Aug. 10th, 1985, Dave provided a perfect DJ experience for the 100+ people at the wedding reception. You can’t find a more positive and happy person in all of your life, that possess the character of Dave.
I’m sure he has only perfected his talent through the last 35 plus years of experience, as he always strives to make things better!
Thank you for the wonderful memories and Kelly & I are still enjoying each other after all this time.

Dave was the best DJ one could have asked for, he not only listened to every need and want the Bride and groom requested but even had some great Ideas to keep guests happy.Dave kept up with the timeline and made sure all aspects of the wedding were completed. I would not hire anyone but Dave in the future.
Dave also made sure along the way to keep in contact with his client and allowed changes all the way up to 2 days before the event.
