The Perfect Intimate Wedding Venue

We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding than The Stanley House. We hosted a very small wedding with immediate family, and the space was absolutely ideal — elegant, calm, and warm without ever feeling overwhelming. The packages offered truly made our micro-wedding feel just as special and elevated as a large, high-budget wedding. It made everything was seamless and incredibly easy to plan, which took so much stress out of the process and allowed us to truly enjoy the experience. The venue fully supported the vision we had for a close-knit, intentional celebration. Sherry was an absolute dream to work with and made the entire experience feel smooth, organized, and stress-free. Everything flowed beautifully throughout the day, and the space worked effortlessly from start to finish. If you’re planning a micro-wedding or intimate ceremony and want a venue that feels thoughtful, timeless, and truly special, The Stanley House is an incredible choice.

Lovely and stress-free wedding experience

I cannot recommend the Stanley House enough, both as a wonderful hotel/accommodations and a venue space. My October 2025 wedding was held here and it was beyond lovely. Meg and Sherry walked me through every single step and empowered me to make my wedding what I wanted, and made sure everything was executed perfectly. Hosting a wedding/event here is made so easy with how communicative and prompt everyone is, and I am so grateful to everyone for their hard work. In addition to making wedding/event planning a breeze, the actual bed&breakfast experience is magical. The inn is gorgeous and well furnished, the staff are lovely and professional, and the amenities are fabulous. This place is amazing, and I can’t wait for my family to come back into town for their next stay.

A Perfect Wedding!

We had the most magical wedding weekend at The Stanley House. The venue is quaint and beautiful and was perfect for our wedding of 50 guests. The guest rooms are clean and beautifully decorated and the event spaces (inside and out) are gorgeous. Meg and Sherry, the wedding coordinators, take time to go over every detail and help make sure your event runs smoothly. Highly recommend this venue!

Weddings Made Easy

We had our wedding at the Stanley House in May 2025. I can't say enough good things about this place, but I will try.

First, the size: The bridal party was relatively small. Bride, groom, two attendants on each side.

Guest count: 70

The Stanley House was the perfect size for our wedding. We had plenty of room but it felt intimate, too.

Buying the package made things so easy. It was one-stop shopping. Purchase a package, pick your menu, your cake, and flowers. Wedding planning made simple.

All of the vendors were easy to work with and knew what to expect from The Stanley House.

We chose to have the DJ inside and a band outside and that was amazing. And no issue.

The very best part? Having the entire house booked. We chose to book both Friday and Saturday night which was essentially a giant slumber party with all of our friends. And a great hangover breakfast in the morning.

Wedding of my Dreams at the Stanley House Inn

We tied the knot at the Stanley House on 5/3/25. It was beyond my expectations! We were so worried due to last minute rain but we were still able to have the ceremony outside and it made for an absolutely beautiful wedding! I loved working with Sherry & Meg, they were outstanding. And all of the venue provided vendors were absolutely amazing too! We did the overnight stays for the night before and after the wedding and it made for such a fun and luxurious weekend we will not forget. I wish I could relive the day over again. Cannot emphasize how beautiful the venue is and how amazing the Stanley House team is!

Stanley House Wedding

We loved our wedding at the Stanley House – it was so beautiful and elegant. The facility is a really nice size – for our wedding of ~70 people, it felt warm and intimate without feeling cramped. It has such a classic feel to it, and it photographed so well. Sherry and Meg were excellent coordinators, and made our lives so easy as we got closer to the event. Throughout the process, they were quick to respond to any of our questions, and they kept us on track with deadlines to hit. Since the facility is all-inclusive, the selection of vendors was made so easy. The food was outstanding, and the photographer was excellent as well. We had such a nice wedding at the Stanley House – it never felt overly stressful, especially because Sherry and Meg were on top of everything from the beginning. We would recommend the facility strongly!

Small ceremony in historic inn

We booked the elopement package for a weekday noon ceremony. All the planning and communication went very smoothly, and that made it a stress-free experience. The setting up and execution was flawless and all the guests were very pleased with the ceremony and the historic setting.

Stanley House

The Stanley House is a beautiful venue with amazing package options. My husband and I just got married on 9/28/24. We took advantage of the inn rooms for the night before the wedding and the night of to have extra time to enjoy the venue and celebrate with our bridal party. Everything went smoothly thanks to Sherry who was so helpful in addressing all of our questions and concerns. 10/10 would recommend for anyone considering.

A very special and beautiful place!

The Stanley House will always be a special place for my husband and I! We got married here and rented all the rooms out. Everything was fabulous from check in to check out! All the rooms are gorgeous, clean, and well stocked with everything you may need. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly. It was super special that there was a dog friendly room so our fur baby could join us. Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area. We will be back for sure :)

Perfect Historic Home Wedding

Truly some of the most expert wedding runners out there. Their list of vendors included the perfect cake, the perfect flowers, an incredible DJ, and an even better photographer. You can't go wrong here; it's beautiful for a 20-80 guest sized wedding and staying the night after the reception was too much fun. Trust Meg & Sherry to give you a perfect wedding!

Great inn to stay in Marietta!

Stayed 2 nights. The place is beautiful, Marietta square is right down the road so we could walk there for dinner. Staff very nice! Great for weddings or just a night to get away. Coming back for anniversary.

Absolutely recommend

We got married here in October 2023 and working with the staff at the Stanley House Mansion, plus their preferred vendors, was seamless. Everyone we interacted with was so kind and knowledgeable. The venue itself is so amazing and beautiful; we used all rooms the night of our wedding and all of our guests had a wonderful stay. A friend recently asked me what was most worth the money and I mentioned staying together in the Stanley House after the wedding and waking up the next morning with our closest friends and enjoying breakfast was priceless. I can't wait to come back for our anniversary in the future and stay here again!

A Perfect Wedding Venue and Planning Experience

My wife and I found the Stanley House a little over a year ago now, not long after we were engaged. It was early into our wedding planning, but we had dipped our toes in the water enough to know how complicated (and costly) wedding planning and wedding venues can get.

Finding the Stanley House was like a breath of fresh air - almost every question we had we were able to answer through their website and brochures, and we quickly fell in love with the all-inclusive venue approach. The Stanley House works with preferred photographers, florists, and other wedding vendors, but the only required vendor is the caterer. Truth be told, we were worried at first about being locked into the caterer, but it turned out to be a baseless concern, as the catering was delicious. In fact, after looking into all of the vendors on our own, we ended up going with the Stanley House's choice just about every time.

I cannot emphasize enough how stress-free the process was with the Stanley House. Once we chose a wedding package and contacted the venue, we met our wedding coordinators to visit the venue in person. The mansion itself is beautiful - outside, it has a wonderful, classic, vintage charm all of its own that we just loved, and the inside was just as dreamy.

The rooms for the bride and groom to stay in along with a few other chosen guests are also just perfect. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, and just overall stunning accommodation after the wedding. Not to mention the simple convenience of being able to stay at the venue overnight and not needing to arrange transportation to a hotel or anywhere else.

The location is also superb, being close to Marietta Square. This is most relevant for the pictures after the ceremony, making for a convenient, picturesque location for additional photography for the bride and groom. The venue also isn't far from the interstate, making it convenient for out-of-town guests staying in hotels nearby or in Atlanta.

In conclusion, the Stanley House Mansion was the perfect wedding venue for my wife and I - planning was simple, but the actual event couldn't have been more of a dream come true. If you are looking for a sign to book the Stanley House for your wedding venue, this is it. There just isn't anyone else around like them, and we couldn't recommend this venue more.

The Most Magical Day!

We can't say enough about the Stanley House and its crew. Meg and Sherry took such excellent care of us and made wedding planning so much less stressful than we thought it would be. Their offered vendors are nothing short of incredible. You honestly cannot go wrong with this venue! I love the people and the venue at the Stanley

Wonderful Wedding Venue

Best Day of my Life

If you are looking to be totally taken care of, the Stanley House is the place to go. The venue was so cozy and charming. We had a guest list of about 90 and everyone fit very comfortably. And being on the square helped keep the party going!

We also stayed the night and let me tell you the breakfast provided the morning after was everything! Lastly, Meg and Sherry were the best. They thought of every detail we didn’t know how to think of and took care of it on their own volition. Really incredible people and we were so happy to share the day with them.

The Most Perfect Wedding!

We could not have had a more perfect wedding at the Stanley House! This was the first, and the only, venue we visited when beginning the search process. The second we arrived for an info meeting, we immediately fell in love with the space. Since it's a historic mansion, it already had a beautiful ambiance, which knocked out a lot of the need for additional decor since it's already beautifully decorated! It's also located right by Marietta Square, so there is plenty of restaurants and activities within walking distance.

We met with Meg to tour the space and go over package pricing. The value you get for the packages is incredible, and the vendors they have contracted are very professional and do an excellent job. It even included centerpiece selections, tableware, cake platter and cutting/serving utensils--so much included! There was no need for us to tour any other space, and we were able to book our wedding date the day of the tour!

Meg, Sherry, and her team were so great to work with and truly made the process a lot less stressful. It was obvious that they were pros at this. They were happy to answer any and all questions along the way. We were able to do the rehearsal, ceremony and reception all at the Stanley House, which was huge for us to make the big day go by smoothly and not have to spend additional time traveling. We were also able to book out the guest rooms so that family could stay at the venue as well. The guest rooms are beautiful!

Our guests RAVED about the wedding. The vendors contracted by the Stanley House that were part of our package were exceptional. The catering, cake, florals, DJ, photographer--all amazing.

We cannot thank Meg, Sherry, and the team enough for making our wedding so perfect and special!

Dreamy Wedding

We chose Stanley House because of the beautiful ballroom. Originally, we had wanted an outdoor wedding but when we saw the inside, it was love! Also, they offer an elopement package that is perfect for anyone's small/micro wedding dreams. The house is so beautiful and when I walked down the stairs to my husband it felt like a dream. Meg and Sherry are so wonderful to work with and had every detail taken care of for me and I am just so happy with our wedding at Stanley House Mansion.

The best ever!

I had my dream wedding at the Stanley House Inn! Everything was perfect - the venue, the hostesses/owner, the vendors recommended by the owner; everything excellent!

The venue is absolutely lovely! The Victorian-styled bed and breakfast mansion is the perfect place to have a weekend wedding celebration. The Inn is very beautifully decorated. The rooms - oh they are beautiful! The bathrooms are recently renovated and have a little touch of modern. The venue and rooms look just like the photographs that are on the Inn’s website.

The wedding pictures that we had taken there are so lovely! I hope that Meg and Sherry post on Facebook for everyone to see. We decided to marry outside, and the Inn has so many beautiful flowers, plants, trees and statues out in that front area where we were. The weather couldn’t have been better. The rehearsal dinner and reception were both indoors. The set up was great! Plenty of room for eating and dancing and having a good time. For the dinner tables, I chose the large crystal candlestick centerpieces provided by the Inn, and they were so pretty!

I loved that we and our families were all able to stay at the Inn together. The Inn sleeps around fifteen to seventeen guests, I believe. We stayed there for two nights. We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception at the Inn. We had around 40 wedding guests. I really didn’t even have to leave the Inn while I was there! Basically everything you need is provided by the hostesses! They cooked the most delicious complementary breakfast for all the guests.

The Inn is on the outskirts of Marietta Square, which is cool because it is not in the middle of the square’s commotion, but you can easily walk to the square for lunch and such. After the reception, we even walked down to the square to hang for a bit. Everyone had a ball, and they are still talking about the fun they had throughout the weekend!

The hostesses, Meg and Sherry - what a dynamic duo! They were fabulous from the start of the process to the finish! I can’t give them enough props! They were very attentive and answered every email I sent them promptly. They were awesome during the rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception, and they kept me right on schedule throughout the normal craziness of a wedding. They are professionals! They are both very impressive, and you can honestly tell that they love what they do! I used most of the vendors that they recommended on their website, and everyone was great! Food, cake, florist and photographer; all did such a wonderful job!

If I could change anything about any of it, I would change absolutely nothing, not a thing! Everything was just as I’d hoped and dreamed.

We can’t wait to go back to the Inn to spend future anniversaries!

BEST Option in Marietta!

The Stanley House Inn was the BEST decision we made for our wedding. We decided to pop up a small wedding (25 guests) in 5 short weeks. Meg and Sherry were wonderful in helping us coordinate the whole event. We loved that everything was included with the facility and we found ease working with all the vendors.

Their recommended photographer Pavel was fantastic which was one of our main concerns purchasing a 'package deal' as we had seen this portion turn out not so lovely for other couples at other venues. That was certainly not the case here!

The event went off without a hitch! Sherry and Meg made the whole day feel less stressed and actually easy. The venue is naturally so beautiful, so lots of decorations are not needed to jazz up the space which was refreshing. We opted for live music which sounded heavenly inside the venue, so i highly recommend it!

The best part of the whole experience was the availability to use all the rooms in the house for the day of the wedding. We loved that our love ones were there relaxing with us all day and night. The rooms have recently been remodeled and are a stunning combo of new comforts meets old world classic. Lynn the housekeeper was so sweet and accommodating we really appreciate all her efforts throughout the weekend.

PS. Don't skip breakfast! Even if you are hung over, figure out how to get there, it is to die for!

Amazing and affordable wedding venue

When looking for a venue, we wanted something simple and affordable, and the Stanley House was both of those things and more. Any questions that popped up, they were more than willing to answer. Any tricky situations (such as allergies), they were more than willing to accomodate and allowed us to work with the bakery to make the best accommodations.

The wedding turned out better than I ever could've imagined, and for what we paid to the Stanley House and their associated vendors, we got more in return than we could've imagined. As the bride, I went into wedding planning dreading everything originally because I wasn't big into weddings and all of the extra things that come with them and their planning. But everyone at the Stanley House made things so simple and easy, and with their associated vendors, it made it so I didn't need to search far and wide for anyone. Their associated vendors are just as wonderful as they are, and you will get more than your money's worth with all of them.

Meg and Sherry at the Stanley House are wonderful, and everything they did let us have the ability to enjoy our wedding. You hear so many stories where couples barely had a chance to eat or couldn't eat, or maybe where they felt like they were running ragged to get everything done, or maybe they barely got to enjoy their cake. But when it came to decorations on the day of, we didn't have to handle a thing. They made sure our signs were placed where they needed to be, and they decorated our signs for table numbers. As the bride, all I had to worry about was getting ready with my friends and family and nothing more. As a couple, we sat down after the special dances to our dinner plated in front of us, with Sherry making sure we had the drinks we wanted. We were able to have pieces of cake after the cake cutting. At the end of the night, they made sure all of our decorations were packed up and ready for us to take home the next day after our stay there that night.

As a bed & breakfast, they are just as wonderful as a wedding venue. We were more than accommodated, and everyone made sure we had everything we needed, such as towels and the complimentary snacks and wine in each room. Breakfast was served both mornings and was absolutely delicious, and they were more than willing to accomodate any dietary needs for those who needed them (even though we had a few complicated ones).

If I had to go back and do the planning all over again, I would without a doubt pick the Stanley House again. If there were any issues day of, I never knew about them. They met all of our needs and more, and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. They helped make our wedding so enjoyable, and should I know anyone in the area getting married or anyone looking for a destination wedding, the Stanley House is my top recommendation.

We choose the Stanley House as the venue for our Wedding as it provided more of an “all-inclusive package.” The Venue has preferred vendors to use though you allowed to use outside vendors. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all being in one place. This was what we were looking for and are so glad we picked the Stanley House. We reached out to the Stanley House last year and arranged a meeting and tour of the facility with Sherry. She was very helpful then and all during the time up to the wedding. She explained the different wedding packages available. They have the flexibility of having the wedding ceremony inside if needed due to inclement weather and we like knowing we had that as backup plan (luckily this was not needed). Sherry helped us identify an open date in the Spring and we signed up for the Magnolia Package. The Venue and their dedicated vendors offer upgrades (additions) to the basic packages which is a nice option. For us, we choose the White China and the Bar Glassware Upgrade for the Stanley House. We didn’t make any changes to the basic photography or wedding cake services offered. We did add to the food catering and the florist allowance (paid directly to these vendors). A couple items that stick out to us occurred when we had a planning meeting with Sherry and Meg at the Stanley House. We had a skit we wanted to added to the ceremony to add a bit of levity. They suggested having this prior to the formal ceremony, which allowed us to have the humorous moments for our guests but retain the dignity of the wedding ceremony. We also had concern regarding mobility issues of my father and the steps in the area of the ceremony. They offered a solution that provided dad a great view of the nuptials. Sherry and Meg were most helpful being with us the day of the wedding. Helping keeping things on track. Lastly having the venue available to stay the night the day of the wedding is great. The whole wedding party was a bit warn out and spending the night there was perfect. The breakfast the next morning was fantastic! We recommend the Stanley House and especially Sherry & Meg to anyone.

Best wedding venue and wedding planners ever

Meg and Sherry helped our daughter plan the perfect wedding. They both went out of their way to make sure every single detail in place. They are the best wedding planners ever and made everything so enjoyable and stress free.The accomodations were outstanding and allowed our whole wedding party to stay in one place as we celebrated the rehearsal dinner, Wedding , and reception. Would highly recommend the Stanley House to anyone looking for the perfect venue to host a special occasion.

We just had our wedding last night at the Stanley House Inn, and it was a PERFECT night!!! It was exactly what we wanted and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. We only had a 4 and a half month engagement and Sherry and Meg made the process so easy!! Everything was so classy and elegant and we would definitely recommend going with this as your wedding/event venue. 10/10!!

Amazing hidden gem in metro ATL

What an amazing day, all thanks to Sherry & Meg and the Stanley House team! Despite the pandemic, a limited budget, and a strong desire for a highly sought-after wedding date (10/10/2020), Sherry and Meg made my dream come true. We loved the care and attention to detail from the bridal welcome gift in my room to the magic transformation of the space for the wedding day. I’m so grateful for the flexibility to move everything indoors due to weather at the last minute, and at no additional cost! I can’t recommend them enough!

Perfect for an intimate wedding

My wife and I used the Stanley House for our small wedding. It was the perfect spot for us. The venue is absolutely stunning and has so many unique spots. Meg and Sherry are incredible. They were always quick to answer the thousands of questions I sent during the planning process. I loved that the Stanley House is more all inclusive than most venues. The food they provided was delicious. The cake was beautiful and tasty! And the flowers and decor were perfect!

Best experience! Beautiful Wedding. LOVE EVERYTHING!!

We had the most beautiful wedding at Stanley house!! Meg and Sherry are wonderful. They made my wedding day more magical than I could ever imagine! The house is so breathtakingly beautiful with the remodeling, they have really outdone themselves. I stayed in the Savannah room and had plenty of room for myself and for my bride entourage to help me get ready. The bed was So comfy too! And they brought me breakfast up to my room which was such a sweet gesture since I was in wedding prep crazy mode. Lol. My sister stayed in the apartment downstairs which is newly renovated as well. Super cute room, loved the doggy decor and my sister had an entire fenced in yard to herself! Overall.. everything was amazing!! The entire house!! All the new decor!! The entire experience! Can't wait to visit again to reminisce on our day!

Amazing Experience

Ever since I was a little girl I would see weddings being held in the courtyard of the Stanley House and would tell my mom: “I wanna get married there!” Well on June 13th that dream came true for me! Sherry is absolutely a wonderful coordinator and helped make my day everything I hoped it would be even though it was bittersweet. My mom had been terminally ill so we were rushing to have the ceremony before she passed. She passed the Sunday before our wedding but Sherry was so incredibly sweet and had a table set up so I could have a picture of my mom and her urn next to the ceremony space so that she would be right there with me. Meg was an absolute doll! She answered all my questions and gave suggestions on which package would be the best fit for us.
Our day went off without a hitch and it was everything I dreamed it would be.
The renovations in the house are absolutely stunning! The price was outstanding! If you want to find an affordable, beautiful venue to get married in I highly HIGHLY recommend the Stanley House!!!! You won’t regret it!

Awesome Wedding Venue!!

So upon my very initial outside opinion of this place I had second thoughts of it being the venue for me. However once I got inside and got a full tour and saw photos of other weddings I was able to really visualize my wedding here. I must say that from the moment I booked my wedding to the very end everything went so very smoothly and I was so happy about how my wedding turned out. It actually surpassed my expectations. Sherry the wedding coordinator was so awesome and always very responsive with me. Kathy was also responsive and great! All of the vendors were awesome and everything went perfectly and if it didn’t they did a great job of hiding it from the bride lol. Basically I totally recommend this place. So blessed I found it on my tight budget.

We went with the skinny mini package and we had 50 guests. Very romantic and affordable venue. Cathy was also very responsive to all our needs. Food was delicious and the florist vendor (Melissa) did an AMAZING job on our flowers. Our day went so smooth and was very enjoyable.

Stanley house is the bomb when it comes to a stress free and yet still a wonderful and memorable wedding. The Stanley House, Cathy and Lloyd, and their entire staff were fantastic! My husband and I married and held our reception there and it was PERFECT!

A portion of our guests were from out of town, and they all stayed in rooms at The Stanley House! Everyone was happy with their beautiful accommodations. It is within walking distance to the Marietta Square, and all the shops and dining there. It made for a mini get-away for them once the wedding was over.

Our wedding day, from start to finish, was spectacular. The vendors that Cathy and her staff use are very professional. The food was delicious, the flowers were breathtaking. We just got our pictures back from the photographer, and they are gorgeous.
Cathy, her staff and vendors went out of their way to make sure our wedding day was all about us!

We came in under budget, and no corners were cut! A+ Venue!!!

The Stanley House was absolutely wonderful. They made this special day so easy and relaxing for everyone. From the first day we walked in for a tour and to see what they offered for a wedding, they made us feel very welcome. I had my wedding at the Stanley House on Oct 31st. It was absolutely amazing!Kathy was determined to help me have the wedding of my dreams and I did! She went out of her way and i can't express how much I really appreciate it! Kathy made sure that me, my family and friends felt welcomed! Her husband Lloyd did an amazing job officiating my wedding! The staff was also so warm and inviting. Rebecca was so nice and attentive and so was Renaldo! I can see why they have been named the best wedding venue in the recent years. I just got married at the Stanley House two weeks ago, and my wedding was absolutely perfect!!! I cannot thank Cathy and Lloyd enough! Cathy was incredibly attentive from the moment I booked the wedding, and it made planning a total breeze, which was important because we had just over three months to plan. The Stanley House coordinated the food, flowers, cake, DJ, officiant, bartender, and everything turned out fantastic! The food and the cake were excellent. My flowers were absolutely stunning!!! The DJ had all my guests dancing the entire night. It did rain the day of the wedding, which resulted in the the ceremony being held inside. The inn was decorated beautifully, and I have had so many guests comment on how much they loved the intimate indoor setting of the ceremony. The Stanley House offered my husband and I an elegant wedding. I still have friends and family telling us just how beautiful everything was during the ceremony and reception. The food was amazing and cake beautiful and tasted amazing!!! I made a list of certain aspects of my wedding I wanted and they met them all. I wanted to stick to a budget, low stress (which meant narrowing down vendors etc. they have great ones to choose from), and have great service. The Stanley House made this a possibility. If I can recommend an event venue for your wedding, it would be the Stanley House. Cathy and Lloyd Kilday met with us for our daughter's wedding several weeks ago. I told my wife that I could feel their warmth but also their attention to a the details. Cathy explained everything and we could tell we were in good hands. Our daughter lives out-of-town so we were involved in the planning process which was easy and fun. They coordinated the flowers, cake, bartending, catering, officiate and DJ. They also coordinated the rehearsal dinner ( catering, ceremony etc.) . The evening of the wedding they had the inn set up inside for the ceremony and the reception. Did you ever get the impression from someone that you were the most important person in the world? that's how they made us feel. Everything was perfect except the weather and their inn shone through it all. Soon we were not thinking about the rain. The table settings, flatware, and buffet were marvelous. Everyone was impressed. Cathy kept the event progressing but her pleasant tone was reassuring to all. They really are experts but also make you feel so at home. I would recommend their inn to anyone. Beautiful, extremely clean, and the setting was very impressive. The groom's mother also commented the same. Cathy and Lloyd really were superb. The expense was a great surprise. They are super competitive pricewise (extremely reasonable). I have several engaged individuals in my office and I am recommending the Stanley House to all of them. It has been one year since my beautiful wedding ceremony took place at the Stanley House in Marietta. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. Cathy took great care of us. I vividly remember how easy she was to work with. She is very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us. We spent our 1st anniversary in one of their luxurious bed and breakfast rooms. We stayed in the Buckhead Room. The next morning, Cathy and Lloyd served us hash brown casserole, bread and fruit. The dish was extremely tasty and the presentation was heavenly. And yes, Cathy and Lloyd were there to take care of us during the last few moments of our stay.
While planning our wedding Cathy spent a lot of time explaining how she would conduct my ceremony. She set up a timeline during our meeting. She spelled out how each segment of our wedding would occur and each segment went just like we planned. I not only recommend the Stanley House, but also Cathy Kilday, Wedding Planner. We commend the wait staff at the Stanley House. Our wedding meal was excellent. They were right there to take care of all of our needs. All in all, the Stanley House knows how to conduct a memorable wedding. I could not have been happier. Our wedding cake was not only delicious, but beautiful as well. Oh yes, Patty at Hampton Photography was great. We received many more pictures than I expected. After the wedding, DJ Ron entertained us. What an Entertainer!
Based on our great experience, my husband and I are planning a vow renewal ceremony in 9 years. I can only imagine how beautiful the ceremony will be and particularly how affordable it is. Our wedding ceremony would not have been what it was without her. Cathy, thank you for everything you did to make our wedding ceremony such a memorable occasion. We will never be able to thank the Stanley House enough.

Kathy, Lloyd, and the staff at The Stanley House helped insure my wedding day was beautiful, well organized, and proceeded exactly as I had planned. Ms. Rebecca is a wonderful chef and her breakfast was delightful. Kathy and Lloyd accommodated changes throughout the weekend easily from room changes to special dietary needs at breakfast. My family and I spent three days and had four rooms which were well appointed with old Victorian charm. The staff at the Stanley House were friendly and made you feel at home during a potentially stressful event, I will definitely be returning.

We looked at several places to hold our wedding and chose The Stanley House. We discovered that The Stanley House had won The Wedding Wire Couples Choice Award for the past 4 years. We liked the location and the services they provided to make our day the best it could be. From the first contact for information to the booking of the facility it couldn't have been any better. We got expert, professional service at a price we could afford. We dealt with the owner (Cathy) and that was good because we felt that we were dealing with the top and not some employee who just gets paid a commission They even provided the officiant (Lloyd - Cathy's husband) and it couldn't have been any better. They provided all the catering including the wedding cake and flowers and it was perfect. The facility and grounds were clean and set up well. They provided a bar tender and setups and a DJ (Ron) was fabulous as well. The long and short is that I hope to have a renewal of vows and will use the same venue. If you have plans or know anyone who might need a place The Stanley House in Marietta is the best.

I want to say "thank-you" to Meg, the Stanley House wedding planner and coordinator, and her staff on the superb job that all of you did for my daughter's wedding. The Stanley House was beautifully decorated, the staff was so pleasant and attentive, and the food delicious! Hopefully, we three parental couples didn't add too much stress to Meg's work day. I especially appreciated Meg's calm demeanor; her guidance proved to make this special day run so smoothly. I will take small credit for finding your establishment on the internet here in California and passing it on to my daughter, Laura, to consider. The result---a lovely beginning to a long, happy life together! As it turned out, this home was also the venue for a wedding in Mac's family (an aunt) years ago. How cool is that?

My fiancé (now husband) and I chose The Stanley House after attempting to plan an entire wedding on our own. We read several reviews and booked the venue sight unseen. It was one of the best decisions we made.
From the beginning, Cathy and Meg made the process a smooth one. When we had an opportunity to visit the house, we were able to see the historic home in person. The location is also a bed and breakfast and is a great option for visiting relatives. They offer discounted rooms if you have family or if you want to stay. There are a few options for the wedding and reception locations within or outside the home. Having a March wedding, we decided to have both the ceremony and reception indoors.
We took photos in front of the home and a few in Marietta square. The scenery is great and we had the advantage of spring blooms!
Meg was the coordinator for all of the details and she was there the day of as well. Planning with her was a breeze! We corresponded via email and sometimes phone calls. There was also a comprehensive planning meeting that covered any questions that I had. After the meeting I had a few more items to take care of myself and Meg made sure that everything was handled from there.
We had a small wedding of about 40 guests but the venue can handle much more. We were all in the large front room and still had room for dancing.
Lisa helped with the rehearsal and on the day of and she was a great help with getting the details right.
By the time I came down the stairs for my grand entrance I had no concerns and I was able to enjoy the evening.
We did not use the photographer as I had a relative that handled that. We also did not use the cake vendor so I cannot comment on those. However, the food was catered by Williamson Bros BBQ which is right in Marietta.
I highly recommend the Stanley House Inn for your intimate wedding, we truly enjoyed our day!

Greetings from Paris!
What can we say? We were so grateful we had our wedding and celebration at the Stanley House Mansion.
The event was magical and fun! The House is a special place, creating a romantic backdrop for the ceremony and festivities. It is yards away from historical downtown Marietta, which provided entertainment for the out-of-towners who came to visit.
Most of all, Meg and the crew were perfect from the planning phase to the final day, offering support, organization and honest, positive input. We always felt reassured in the process (which can be stressful.) The Night itself went without a hitch.
After the party we had opted to stay the night and our room was fantastic! The next morning we were welcomed with a gourmet breakfast before we whisked ourselves off to Europe for honeymoon.
We would absolutely recommend the Stanley House Mansion for a ceremony and reception venue. It was very special.

The staff at the Stanley House are there with you from start to finish. They provide amazing service and helped me so much as I planned the wedding. You can tell that they have been doing this for a long time, since they brought many things I hadn't even thought of to my attention.

My Husband and I married and honeymooned here at the Stanley House, it was beautiful. It's perfect for a small and fancy wedding, we didn't have much guests and wanted a beautiful place to have it. The best day of my life was organized and stress free because they practically did it all for me. I definitely recommend this place to anybody who is getting married soon because it is a great place to make beautiful memories!

My husband and I were seeking a second wedding venue for an intimate ceremony. The price point for Stanley House with their elopement package was exactly what we were looking for, as well as the fact that details such as florist, cake, and photographer were handled for us. The decorations for Christmas added a special touch, and both sets of parents were able to stay at the Stanley House prior to the wedding. We could not be more pleased with the way the day unfolded, as we felt that there was nothing about the day itself we would change. Greatly appreciated that we were able to focus on us and our families and all the other details were handled for us. Many thanks to Meg and team for a lovely day.

My husband and I were married at the Stanley House Mansion on December 20th. Words don't do justice to how perfect everything was. As soon as we walked into the house for the first time, we were greeted by Meg, the wedding coordinator. She gave us a tour, painted a picture of what our wedding day would be like and walked us through every detail and every step for the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. We knew immediately that this was where we wanted to be married. Due to it being the holiday season, the house was BEAUTIFULLY decorated for Christmas. It was truly breathtaking. The vendors recommended to us were a joy to work with. The flowers, photographer and catering were exceptional. The staff were extremely helpful and made all of our guests feel right at home. The entire day had a comfortable, cozy feel to it and we were free to enjoy the day stress-free and to spend quality time with our friends and family. We are so thankful for Meg, the Stanley House Inn staff and our vendors for making this day so special for us.

Our wedding at the Stanley House was absolutely wonderful! From the beginning of the planning process to end of our big day, Meg was so incredibly helpful. Even though Meg, herself, was not able to be there, her protégè Jessica handled our rehearsal, ceremony, and reception flawlessly! (Including a few wrinkles here and there with regard to the usual family drama and unruly flower girls that one might expect.) They even went the extra mile and allowed us to set up our chuppah the night before so we wouldn't be stressed about it the day of the wedding. All of their vendors were absolutely top notch - the flowers, the cake, the catering, photographer and videographer. Several of our guests commented about how smoothly the day moved along, and we agree. They say that something always goes wrong on your wedding day, but we can honestly say that nothing did on ours, thanks to the amazing staff at the Stanley House! We can't imagine it all being any more perfect than it was.

From the very beginning of selecting this venue spending the night there in a beautiful bed and breakfast room, ALL STAFF and venue were beautiful, lovely, friendly, professional, compassionate, delightful to work with, and helpful in every way. If I had the wedding and reception to do all over again, I would do everything exactly the same! Meg and her staff were just wonderful! I can't say enough wonderful things. All of our 80 guests were impressed with food, decor, services, and venue. My new husband and I were embraced and respected for our traditional and contemporary planning. Our daughter and son-in-law wanted a wedding that offered an outdoor ceremony area with an indoor reception area that was not one large room. The Stanley House provided all of their criteria. Meg and her staff did an outstanding job attending to the bride and groom's requests as well as taking care of the bridal party and guests. We had a beautiful room to get ready in on the big day that provided privacy and a lot of space. Getting married in older home with so much history made it even more special. The house is already decorated beautifully. To make our bride and groom's day 'their own', my sister made several items that the Mr. & Mrs. wanted at the reception. Meg provided ample tables and space for these personalized items to be displayed. The entire day was flawless. Knowing our children left happy and satisfied was a gift. I would highly recommend you contact The Stanley House - you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I LOVED the Stanley House! We fell in love with it the moment we walked in. The place is cute and quaint and the staff were very helpful. I didn't feel like they were trying to get all my money and they did a lot of the other services (like catering, flowers, bar service, etc.) too, which made my life SO much easier. Trust me, it helps so much to have all your services in one place. The cake vender they work with was wonderful. Beautiful and tasty cake! The staff catered to all my wants and needs and were professional about it. Overall, it was my perfect dream wedding and I have the Stanlwy House to thank for that!

My sister was married at the Stanley House and we could not have asked for a more wonderful experience. Meg and her team made every effort to make our experience seamless and perfect! Every detail was thought out. We had the pleasure of renting out all the rooms upstairs as well. The beds were extremely comfortable and much needed after a long day! Meg (the wedding coordinator) was magnificent...we met with her in April 2014 for a tour of the Stanley House. She was very informative, professional, and pleasant...answered all of our questions to our satisfactory. We were always kept abreast of what was needed/wanted for our wedding...from the time we met Meg (for the tour), booked the venue, had a first planning meeting, and up to the end of our wedding day. It was very little we had to do to prepare - Meg made sure that all the decorations & set up of the ceremony/reception were what we requested. If I had to do it all over again (and I am praying that I do not - smile), I would definitely have Meg as my coordinator at the Stanley House. The only negative comment that I have is that I was not too happy with my bridesmaids bouquets - my colors were grey, turquoise, and dark purple; therefore orchids were used in MY bouquet. However, the bridesmaids bouquets were white roses with light blue baby breaths. Nevertheless, this was my error - I should have viewed the flower arrangements with the florists before the wedding day.

The Stanley House Mansion was the perfect place for my husband and I to get married. It was not a first marriage for either of us. Everything was provided. We had a rehearsal dinner at the Stanley House and were so pleased. The facility is lovely and well maintained in a beautiful Victorian House. Meg, Joseph and staff did a wonderful job of fulfilling every wish. Meg is very detail oriented and anticipated any and every need we had. My guests loved everything about the dinner. Our wedding was PERFECT!!! Exactly as I had imagined it! Meg, Joseph, and the team were nothing but professionals and catered to our every need! I am still getting compliments on our ceremony, food and the overall house. We planned our wedding in a couple months time and Meg did everything she could to help! I used all of the vendors she recommended and they were all wonderful, professional, easy to deal with and did everything they said they would do! The flowers were beautiful (thank you Melissa), the cake was delicious (thank you Jennifer), DJ met all my crazy requests (thanks DJ Randy), and the photographers were spot on with all the priceless shots (thanks Jon and Tamera)!! My daughter's wedding was absolutely beautiful with very little work from me! Meg was wonderful to work with! We had last minute guests to work in to the ceremony and all fell in to place beautifully. Meg is very professional with a lot of suggestions to make the wedding fit in perfectly with the style and tradition of the Stanley House. We purchased the "Skinny Minnie" package and felt as if we had a wedding of more value than we expected. The cake and floral vendors included are absolutely wonderful! We will use them again as necessary for future events. The Stanley House was a beautiful place to hose our wedding. We received more than a few compliments after the big day. We escpeially loved working with their in house coordinator, Meg Hannon. She was absolutely wonderful!!! She was so very patient with everyone and great at keeping everything on schedule and running smoothly. The Stanley House also is a great deal! We feel like our money really went further working with all that they have to offer. We also loved the flexibility of being able to pick and choose certain vendors rather than using all theirs. To say that you want a perfect wedding day and then plan for one is always a challenge. Meg and Jessica took all the stress and challenge out of the planning and we had a perfect day. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!!!!! I really can't express in words just how wonderful everything was and how happy my fiance and I and all of our guests were. The setting was gorgeous, the flowers by A Delicate Petal were beautiful, the food from Adriane's Delectables was raved about, the photographer Patty Hampton seemed extremely competent and fun (excited to see how the pics came out!), and our overnight stay in the house was sooooo comfortable (those beds are like clouds). Last but not least, I'm convinced that the coordinator, Meg, is a demi god in disguise. She is so competent, on track, and has such a calming effect that I had 100% confidence in her the whole time. To echo what another review said, Meg gives you what money can't buy - peace of mind. Thanks again to The Stanley House and all their vendors for making our wedding a huge hit!!!

The hospitality was overwhelmingly great. Meg, the Inn hostess, made us feel as if we were in her own home and that our daughter's wedding was the most important wedding on the planet, Even though we knew they had two others after us that weekend. Meg was amazing in every way! The wedding and reception was beautiful. Everything was handled warmly and professionally. We stayed at the inn for two nights and loved how they managed their timing without the hint of stress.. We will go back sometime just to enjoy the Inn.

I would highly recommend the Stanley House Inn. We purchased the Skinny mini reception only package. The owner, Cathy worked with our budget and helped us find a reception that we could afford. Meg, the wedding planner was always available for questions and responded to them in a timely manner. The Stanley House provided lots of decorations and we were able to bring in our own as well. The Stanley House staff set up all the tables and chairs and the decorations before the reception and cleaned it all up when it was over. All we had to was show up. I could not have asked for a more perfect reception.

I had my wedding/reception at the Stanley House July, and now that I've finally come up for air, I want to write this overdue THANK YOU for the best ever day of my life. Most of my family and guests were from New York, and not easily impressed, but they raved about their experiences that day. Wedding was just perfect, buffet beautifully presented, food delicious, staff so friendly, attentive, and the bartender, Joseph, terrific. Classy was the most common word used to describe everything. But it was all put together by my wedding coordinator, Meg. Thank you, Meg, for all the calls you took, all the good advice, the planning meeting, rehersal---for being there for me all the way. You gave me what money can't buy, peace of mind. You are a brides best friend!
I will cherish my Stanley House wedding all my life. Thank you!

We couldn't have asked for a better place for our wedding. Our coordinator, Meg, was fantastic!! She was so helpful during the planning process and the actual wedding. The value was incredible - especially on a tight budget. The outdoor area is perfect for the wedding and reception (as long as the weather is nice - it was perfect for us). Joseph the bartender is also great, and the entire staff is so friendly!! I definitely recommend staying overnight - the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is delicious! This was the perfect place for our wedding and everyone made the day so special.

Meg was AMAZING! Her warmth and positive spirit calmed my wedding jitters! She handled even last minute changes with grace and complete professionalism. The Stanley House decor was gorgeous and recently updated. Our reception was perfect...I wouldn't change a thing! Thanks again Meg and Cathy!

I can not rave enough about the Stanley House. They took care of all the details and tried to make it as stress -free a day as possible. Even when miscommunications happened they were taken care of quickly and handled to keep my day running as smooth and stress-free. The venue was beautiful and perfect, the food got tons of compliments from my family, and I can't thank Cathy enough for everything she did for us. I totally recommend the Stanley House if you are looking for an intimate wedding.

Our stay at the Stanley House in Marietta, Georgia was absolutely fabulous. We rented the entire house and had the bride and bridesmaids stay there. The wedding reception was unbelievable. The service was excellent.... everything went exactly as promised. The food was out of this world, and the hospitality - exactly what you would expect from a southern mansion! Lloyd and Cathy went out of their way to insure our stay was perfect.

Preparing everything for a wedding seemed impossible for me; I was completely overwhelmed and did not know where to start.
But then I found the people at The Stanley House, and all of a sudden all my fears disappeared.
They took care of absolutely everything in a wonderful way, down to the tiniest of details. All my wishes, no matter how trivial, were granted, and it was affordable!!
I had a wonderful wedding!
They all are wonderful people and all gave 200%, even more in the case of Meg!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Our daughter's wedding ceremony and reception were held at the Stanley House Inn in early October and we are still hearing comments from friends, family members and even the vendors about how wonderful and unique it was. The setting of course was gorgeous, but I was most impressed with the professionalism of the staff. Cathy Kilday, the inn's owner was able to accommodate our needs in spite of working within a tight time frame, She also suggested vendors that were equally professional. The wedding planner, Meg Hannon was marvelous in helping to coordinate the activities for the rehearsal and the dinner, in addition to the outdoor ceremony and the reception following. She has a quiet and calming approach, and yet addressed and attended to every detail. Also it was a joy to interact with her husband Joseph who served as our gracious, charming and knowledgeable bartender. I can highly recommend the Stanley House as a venue for creating an enjoyable and memorable event.
