  I can't say enough positive things about James and his team. They were superb. The food was wonderful, the service impeccable, and under James' direction even the rain couldn't dampen our spirits. A truly wonderful experience. Do not hesitate to have your wedding at the SYC. You won't be disappointed. Just fabulous!!!!

  You could not ask for a lovelier setting for a wedding, particularly on a beautiful sunny afternoon on the lawn overlooking Stamford Harbor. Gorgeous club and setting. Beautiful place for outdoor cocktail hour. Reception indoors in a lovely room with lots of space for dancing and beautiful big bar area looking out on the lawn and water. The staff and James, the catering manger couldn't have been better! The day of the wedding James ran everything like clockwork and anticipated the bridal party's every need. He was fabulous. The staff and James did everything on the wedding day, making sure all the decorations and details were taken care of so the bride had nothing to worry about. Just a sensational job by all! Great place for a wedding.

  Had such an amazing time at our wedding. Service was beyond our expectations. James was more than helpful throughout the whole planning experience. He was just simply amazing and could not have done it without him. Couldn't haven't asked for a better person to work with or a better venue for our wedding! Spectacular!!

  James and staff at Stamford Yacht Club were excellent. We had our entire wedding there! Makeup for myself and all the girls was done in the provided bridal suite, ceremony was on the lawn followed by cocktail hour/pictures and then the reception. We were able to add on an extra hour of drinks on consumption and dancing. Its a STUNNING location overlooking the Long Island Sound. The bar room attached to the dining room makes the event space huge. The food was delicious - the chef onsite used to work in a NYC restaurant and it shows. We had 8 passed appetizers during cocktail hour - all yummy bites!, a penne ala vodka with proscuitto, the SYC salad - canded walnuts yum and boursin cheese, yum! and the beef medallions or stuffed chicken breast for entree options. ALL DELICIOUS!!
