Andrea and the staff at Stage 1 are absolutely amazing!!! If you want a stress free and seamless wedding book with them! They have multiple decorations to choice from and so many delicious food selections!!!! The taste is so good! Honestly ask all 200 of my guests lol. The overall experience was 10/10! Stage 1 Weddings & Receptions - Perfect for Any Wedding Day
If I could describe my experience at Stage 1 Weddings & Receptions I would say AMAZING! I had a wonderful experience. This was the best fit for my husband and I because when we met Andrea we feel in love. She was there for us from the beginning and even reached out to us after the wedding. The venue is in the perfect place and has wonderful food. You do not have to worry about anything when you arrive or throughout the day. My family is still talking about how wonderful the day was and how efficient everything went. I could not recommend them enough.

Amazing experience!
Having my wedding at Stage 1 was the best decision I could’ve made! Andrea was helpful from the very beginning until even after the wedding had ended. She was very attentive and had my (the bride’s) best interest at heart. The venue was very accommodating and beautiful. The food was AMAZING! Everything about the experience was above expectations! She provided a very detailed list of what needed to be done by when and that truly made a huge difference. The week of the wedding was a breeze and the venue looked amazing. OMG, Ms. Andrea was so awesome! From day 1 she was so helpful and nice. The food was excellent. My family and friends kept talking about it. The room was beautiful as well. The night went off without a hitch.

Mrs. Andrea was an absolute gem for my wedding day!! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Mrs. Andrea and her beautiful venue! The moment my mother and I visited Stage I for a tour, we knew it was the one for my big day! Mrs. Andrea handled every request, was punctual, and had my wedding ceremony flowing so smoothly so my hubby and I could enjoy our day! Worth the money!!
This venue gave me everything I wanted for my wedding. It was very stress free and our coordinator Andrea made sure everything went on time and as planned. It seems like a lot of money but they include everything except the flowers, cake and of course your attire. I didn’t have to worry about a thing which is just what you want planning a wedding. Stage 1 takes a lot off of your back to make sure you have a wonderful experience. The food was amazing. I got compliments on the food the most. The staff was very attentive and super nice. The bridal suite was cozy and warm and my husband loved the grooms room. Table arrangements were very elegant and have a lot to choose from. Very pretty table runners with a lot of colors to match yours. My family really appreciated that we didn’t have to set up or clean up a thing. Just the whole event if made to what the bride and groom want. I’m very glad we chose Stage 1 for our wedding venue.

The perfect venue!!
Wow, I can’t say enough good things about Stage 1! I am so incredibly happy we chose this venue for our wedding reception. From start to finish, Andrea was just a joy to work with. We had chosen our date long before Covid was an issue, and we did not want to change dates. Andrea did everything possible to accommodate us and make our guests feel safe. When looking at venues, one of Stage 1’s biggest selling points for us was the huge dance floor, and we were especially glad to have that extra space when social distancing mandates came into play. Even while following COVID protocols, she truly helped us have the most normal reception possible! She literally took care of everything so that the reception flowed smoothly. We always had a drink in hand and a plate of food ready for us at our table! The food was outstanding, and all of our guests are still commenting on how good the food was and that it was the best wedding reception they’d ever been to! We were thankful that Andrea packed up the remaining food which we ate later that night once we arrived to our hotel. She even included a honeymoon basket full of goodies and thoughtful touches! We appreciated her willingness to incorporate various cultural traditions into our reception that helped to make it the perfect day! Andrea truly does offer an all-inclusive venue where everything is included and taken care of, which left me more time to focus on planning the other details of my wedding. Thank you, Andrea, from the bottom of our hearts for helping to make our wedding day absolutely perfect!!!

Stage 1 Reception
We got married during Covid 19. Before the pandemic we had 150-200 people coming to the wedding and then half of the list did not want to come out of fear. Ms. Andrea worked with us to help take away my stress and was flexible in this unprecedented time! The decorations were beautiful! During the reception here she always made sure we had food and drinks for us. Everything was perfect and we had such a fun and memorable night!

Its not enough things I could say about Andrea (all good things of course). Andrea is literally a life saver she took the stress off of me especially since we planned a wedding for 2 years to have COVID19 and Hurricane Delta try to stop us. Andrea was there every step of the way, I mean every step. Her venue is amazing her packages comes with everything you could ask for. You are welcome to add any decorations you want and she would put out for you.

Ms. Andrea really outdid herself. She listened and paid attention to every detail I asked for. She allowed for the transition of the reception to go very smoothly. It was worth every penny spent. Everything about this venue is phenomenal. We had our daughter reception there and had the opportunity to meet one of the most sweetest person you could ever ask for, Mrs. Andrea. She made our entire year of planning so so stress free, she always kept us calm when I thought I was losing it. My daughter reception was everything she and her fiance dreamed of, very professional in every area of the reception, Mrs. Andrea was so compassionate and caring at all times and her entire staff, very friendly. Thank you so so much for a stress free reception, we loved everything, the decor, the food and most of all Mrs. Andrea. I'm just sorry I have no more children to marry. My husband and I had the absolute, most amazing, beautiful, and perfect wedding day! This experience was made possible by many people, especially Ms. Andrea. She made sure our reception flowed smoothly and the exact way we had wished and hoped for! Ms. Andrea made great suggestions for the order of events such as when to take photos, when to perform dances, and reminding us to take in the moment and have fun! Her experience with special occasions is evident and a huge reassurance on such a big and special day! Ms. Andrea made sure all of our many guests were attended to and happy. However, she was especially concerned with my husband and I, she made sure we were beyond satisfied the whole evening. She even allowed us to spend an afternoon practicing our first dance in the ballroom a few days prior to the wedding! Andrea is the best out there! No doubt! No question! Not up for debate! She made our big day so wonderfully perfect and smooth! Even when my husband's father was late she kept her cool and everything flowed just fine! She is beyond the sweetest person and I wouldn't wanted to have been any other wedding coordinator's bride! My husband and I were beyond thrilled and pleased with our big day! If we could do it all over again, I promise it would be at Stage 1 hands down every time! Andrea was absolutely incredible throughout our entire wedding process. After I had my first venue canceled out from under me, I called Andrea in a panic. Immediately she made me feel calm and let me know that my wedding day was going to be just perfect. Usually, Stage One doesn't host weddings as small as mine but Andrea was flexible throughout the entire process and made our reception a dream. You will not find a better value for your money around the entire Baton Rouge area. We still get compliments on the decor and food. Thank you, Andrea, for the best day ever!

Stage 1 made my day easy and STRESS FREE!!! All I had to do was literally just show up. Andrea paid close attention to every detail, not leaving anything out. She helped me with my bridal shoot, set out favors, decorated (just how I liked, even extras), helped the photographer take pics, she was just an "all around" person.
Everyone raved about the food and drinks. Not to mention, Andrea gave us a send off with a BIG basket FULL of goodies. She packed up everything after the wedding / reception PLUS loaded the gifts in the vehicles.

My husband and I lives in Atlanta. So, you can imagine the stress we were under trying to plan a wedding in LA. Andrea, with Stage 1 was magnificent! She is very professional, thorough and detail. My son is a Marine. Brock and Amy got engaged then had this wonderful idea that they should get married six weeks later. After a couple of weeks of very stressful planning, tears and many emotions I suggested Amy call Stage 1. From the moment we walked in the door Andrea put everyone at ease. She very confidently told us that although we had little time it was all very doable. Andrea gave us names to a bakery, a florist and sent Amy home with a “to do” booklet. The best part was there was very little to do! Andrea does it all! From the time you walk in with your ideas to the last time you walk out as a married couple she makes sure ALL the details,no matter how large or small is taken care of. Stage 1 was absolutely beautiful. This was a December wedding so we had Christmas trees everywhere. The decor on the tables were very elegant and classy. The staff: top notch! The food never stopped coming out and passed around with smiles. The bar and buffet were wonderful. The day after the wedding Amy received pictures that Andrea took through out the day just to give her a little sneak peek. Yes, she did that at the same time as getting pictures organized, cake cut, lighting dimmed at the right time,etc. To say we had a flawless experience is an understatement. I can not thank Andrea enough for making this a stress free, beautiful and memorable day for the bride and groom. From the words of the new Mr. and Mrs. Portier: thank you. It was more than we ever dreamed we could have. So far, the best day of my life.

Everything is inclusive so you get the best value for your money. Once your event is over, they actually send all of the food home with you. No one does it better! Notified on very short notice that the Church I had selected for my venue would not be available. Andrea assured me everything would be just fine and it was! We moved the ceremony and the rehearsal dinner to Stage 1. It was absolutely wonderful. All of my guests complimented me on the venue, the food, and the service. It was my "dream" wedding!!!

We found out two weeks before the wedding their the Church we had planned on would not be available. Andrea stepped in and helped me through my panic and got everything scheduled for Stage 1. I will be forever grateful for everything. My friends and family are still talking about what a beautiful venue, the awesome food and drinks, and the over the top hospitality displayed by everyone connected with Stage 1. My dream wedding became a reality for this 65 year old woman!!

Andrea was the BEST from beginning to end. I would reconvene Stage 1 to any and everyone. They made sure every detail was met and that I had nothing to worry about throughout the process. Andrea is AMAZING!!! She told me that myself and my mom would never have to lift a finger during the wedding and she was right! She had everything set up beautifully before I arrived! She helped corral all of my family and bridal party for pictures. Brought us a little of everything to eat. And it was delicious!! My glass was never empty and neither was my husband's. And at the end of the night, our car and my mother's car was packed with food, decorations and our gifts! I would recommend her to everyone!!

My husband and I could not have found a better place to have our wedding/reception! Andrea was super nice, attentive to our needs and made everything so easy and stress free. The staff there were very attentive and the room where our ceremony and reception were held was decorated perfect. The food for the reception was excellent, we could not have asked for anything better. Our guests were impressed by the quality and professionalism of the venue and staff. I would definitely recommend this venue. Stage 1 made our wedding day very personal, special and memorable.

This venue was perfect for someone like me; I planned my Baton Rouge wedding from Maryland, where I live. Andrea made everything easy and stress-free. Ms. Andrea and Her staff were great! We had our wedding reception here in the heat of the Louisiana summer. The Ballroom was amazing, you didn't have multiple rooms to go through in order to find something. There was plenty of room to dance and hold as many people as possible (we had ~275). Everyone loved the food and especially the chocolate fountain. What more can you ask for, than a place that handles everything for you. It included: set up, take down, wait staff, linens for the tables and chairs, centerpieces, and DJ! Mrs. Andrea and her staff were so easy to work with and made the wedding process much more relaxed. I made some center pieces to go on the tables and I was able to bring those to her 4 days ahead and she set all of them up for me!! Working with Stage 1 and their team was something I'll never forget. Best start to a happily ever after :)

My wedding was September 05 ,2015 I had a amazing time , Mrs. Andrea was awesome everyone loved her. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. My guest just loved how I came down the staircase even the pastor was so amazed. Even though no one danced but the bride and groom the DJ was great. If you planning to get married Stage one is the place I strongly recommend. Last but not least the food was awesome . Family and friends were calling us on our honeymoon talking about the food, how beautiful and organized everything was Thank you Mrs. Andrea for a beautiful day , in two years I will be turning 50 if the lord say the same I already know the place to celebrate my big 5 0,.... We had our wedding at Stage 1 in December 2014. It was AWESOME to say the least. It was everything (and more) that we could have imagined our wedding day would be like. I had heard horror stories of brides who said that something will always go wrong on your wedding day. With Andrea and the Stage 1 staff.....this did not happen! Andrea was so organized and made sure that every wish and want that we had on our "list" happened smoothly and efficiently. I am a planner and like for things to be organized, so when we went in for our first meeting and found out that Andrea was the same way, it was a definite YES that we had to have our wedding at Stage 1. I highly recommend Stage 1 to any bride out there who wishes for her wedding day to be perfect and flawless!

The event was our parents 50th wedding anniversary. It is now three weeks later and our parents and guest are still commenting on how wonderful everything was; from the food, the music, and the hospitality. Stage 1 was where my husband and I recently had our wedding reception and I don't even know how to begin to explain how perfectly fabulous it was. Stage 1 is top notch, flawless, elegant & classy. I felt so privileged and blessed to be able to have my reception there. The servers actually walk around and serve your guests! The food was far more than great, and the bar service was so quick! My husband and I felt like royalty when the owner, Andrea, waited on us hand and foot from the day we booked our event with her and during the reception! Andrea is such a doll, has such a kind & gentle heart, is so personal, and always has energy to keep her bride and groom happy! I could not imagine my wedding reception any other way and it was absolutely perfect!

Andrea (wedding coordinator, lifesaver, wonderful human being...) is absolutely one of the biggest draws to the venue! She handled every detail, helped me make decisions, respected my opinions completely, and ensured that my husband and I had fun at the reception! She made everything flow perfectly, didn't allow me to stress over anything, and was a wealth of knowledge on making everything work out in the best possible way. I felt completely at ease with her insight and professional experience, which allowed me to not worry in the least. I trusted it would be perfect, and my expectations were exceeded. You know someone truly cares when you receive an email the night before with pictures to give you an exciting glimpse of your personal decor! On top of all of those wonderful things, working with Andrea was like working with someone you had known your whole life.
Second of all, the food was phenomenal. Every few days someone tells me how much they loved our reception and how impressive and yummy the food was! There was also plenty for our guests to be completely satisfied.
Also, I thought the DJ did a great job. The music was fun, yet not crazy! She handled everything all on her own (no input from me) and I was not disappointed in the least!
Lastly, I adored the venue for how gorgeous it is. The breathtaking chandelier in the ballroom, the covered chairs, the grand piano, granite counter buffet, entrance, patio, and the timeless wooden staircase were special details that I loved. Perhaps my favorite part though is the fact that the ballroom maintains that soft evening glow all the time. We had a 1pm reception and you never would have known! It adds even more class to the already classy venue, in my opinion!
Clearly, I would recommend choosing Stage 1 to anyone who asks. We honestly were blessed beyond belief to find Andrea and the venue. I couldn't imagine having our reception anywhere else.

Mrs. Andrea and Cassie did an excellent job in making my wedding day perfect! I was sold from the minute I looked at the venue. Mrs. Andrea is very detailed-oriented, making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. Cassie has a great, upbeat attitude and a lovely personality. My wedding was absolutely perfect at Stage 1!

Everything was perfect. From the very first phone call I made to inquire about the facility, to the owner texting me pictures the day after my wedding. The entire staff was very professional, yet personable! The price you pay for the service you get is well worth it! In the weeks prior to our wedding, Andrea would call me to check in and see if I needed and help with things, allow me to bring things early, and just made things simple and easy! Maybe it's just my opinion, but my wedding was the funnest wedding I've ever been to! :) It was the wedding of my dreams and by far, the best day of my life!

I have nothing but good things to say about this venue. The coordinators were all very friendly, helpful, and experienced. If I could get married again, I would choose them all over again. The decor and the grounds are so beautiful - it provides an unforgetable atmosphere!

They did an incredible job!! My parents really loved that they provided a wedding planner that took care of me, my new husband, and my parents!! They supplied the bubbles for the end of the night, napkins with our names and wedding date, and all the decorations, tables, chairs, centerpieces, etc were included! The food, from what I heard, was incredible! We ate some the next day and it was still great! I highly recommend the chicken salad sandwiches.
My husband and I are still getting compliments from friends and family about how nice our wedding was and how elegant the reception turned out to be. But the biggest compliment of all was that everyone had fun and really enjoyed themselves and that was what was most important to us! We had around 225 guests and did not recieve a single complaint!

The experience we had with stage one was wonderful if I describe the service and help that Andreas and her staff provide I wouldn't have in off space to write it all I can said is that Andrea did an awesome job with our weeding the food was delicious love it. I really recommend stage one for any party or weeding reception :)

I was SO impressed by the service that we received at the Stage 1! I got married on October 15 and Andrea was the BEST and she was so helpful during the entire process! My wedding day went so smoothly. My wedding day was amazing because of Andrea.

We were very pleased with our wedding at Stage One. Mrs. Andrea went above and beyond to make sure our big day was extra special. We highly recommend to anyone who is looking for elegance and memories of a lifetime to choose Stage One!!

The coordinator, Andrea, is absolutely wonderful. She is obviously a seasoned professional. She knows exactly when things need to be done and what all needs to be done. I was stress free on my wedding day, thanks to her. Also, the food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. The reception hall is also beautiful with a large chandelier in the center. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Ok...Stage One was wonderful. They are a family-owned business, so they are very personal and easy to work with. The food was GREAT and everything went smoothly. I loved the building and simple decorations they provided. The only difficulty was choosing the music for the DJ to play. They had a list, but a lot of the songs I had no idea what they sounded like, so it was a little difficult to choose all the music. They also opened up early on my wedding day so I could get in with family to bring the my cake and set up anything we needed to set up. The cost of the vendor depended upon everything I chose from food to beverages. But overall, the prices were reasonable because I had about 150 people.

Stage 1 provided great service, great food and the facility was decorated beautifully. All our arrangements were carried out as planned. Everything flowed smoothly without a hitch.

Very beautiful venue! I've heard several comments on how beautiful the wedding was. The coordinator, Andrea, kept everything and everyone in order. One I got to the venue before the wedding, I didn't have to worry about a thing!!! She made sure my glass stayed full and that my husband and I got a chance to eat. (Which is really hard to do at your own wedding.) When we left for the night our vehicle was packed and she sent us home with food for a week, plus a few extra goodies :) The venue itself was a little pricey, but after seeing it all come together I can say it was money well spent!

A little on the expensive side. The staff was very attentive however. The coordinator was always available to go over details leading up to the wedding. The food was good, with a lot of options to pick from. Felt a little rushed just due to the short time frame of 3 hours. Overall a good venue, but not sure worth the money for only 3 hours.

The DJ is the owner's niece and she is not very good @ all!! i wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy. She dressed as if she were going to a funeral, she had zero motivation and DID NOT get the crowd going. I wasn't allowed to have 1 glass of champagne in the bridal suite! Which I thought was ridiculous, its not like we were getting drunk at all, just 1 glass and the owner threw a fit! The DJ got mine and my husband's names wrong! Also, the frozen Margaritas weren't frozen until 2 hours into the reception. When I called to share with the owner all of my concerns, she was very defensive, refused to admit that she did anything wrong. The owner was VERY high strung, she yelled at the parking lot security guys (who weren't doing their job) while guests were arriving!!! EMBARASSING! Most of this was all things that were told to me by my guests who were SOBER! Since the owner pointed out the fact that I had a lot of wine that night, my reception, my choice!! Then I was told I could have bubbles as wedding favors and two of my guests were scolded for blowing the bubbles in the foyer!
