The venue itself is gorgeous, but the incredible staff is really the reason to book here!! Tracy was amazing from the start, offering quick responses and timeline help as soon as we booked. Day of coordinators Mary Pat and Keelia did an amazing job executing my wedding vision. In addition, they only asked the absolutely necessary questions during the wedding day. Otherwise they just did their job creating no stress for me!!
We had both our ceremony and reception in the Great Hall, and everything went smoothly because of the amazing staff. We had a hot chocolate bar during social hour and the turnover. I truly did not worry about a thing day of! So grateful to the staff.
The food was delicious, and the wait staff was amazing at their jobs. They were both effective and kind!
I also really appreciated that everything was through the venue! Food, linens, some decor, day-of-coordination, and even dessert. Mary Pat did an awesome job on our tiramisu! It was helpful that SPCC had table number holders, dessert stands, card table, etc.
SPCC truly was a huge help in wedding planning and made the wedding day amazing!

SPCC was a fantastic venue. Fit our aesthetic, goals, and budget. Tracy was an absolutely fabulous coordinator: had everything together and made sure we had a perfect day!

I cannot stress enough how perfect this location was. When we first visited, we knew instantly that this was the venue for us--cozy, spacious, comfortable, elegant. The lead coordinator, Tracy, was very responsive and helpful throughout and made the planning process easy with her list of recommended vendors and the venue's chef sampling event to help us plan our menu. Tracy served as a day-of coordinator and made sure everything flowed smoothly from the moment we arrived. We loved having so many different spaces for people to gather--the intimate, elegant library/bar; the open lounge with its fireplace; the reception hall with a dance floor; the patio with cafe lighting, etc.--and our guests loved having the freedom to roam around. We didn't bring any decor in (aside from the bridal party bouquets that we converted into centerpieces after the ceremony)--the venue is gorgeous enough as is! I can't recommend this place enough!

Cannot recommend the SPCC enough. It is a beautiful venue with a great yard for an outdoor ceremony. The food is fantastic, and you can bring your own alcohol which helps reduce budget. Tracy is amazing - she really knows how to plan a wedding, and our wedding ran without any hiccups. Our day at SPCC was tailored exactly how we wanted it, and our wedding was honestly perfect. A true dream wedding. Thanks also to amazing Keelia, our day-of coordinator and the rest of the SPCC staff!

We had an amazing experience working with Jenny and Keelia at the St. Paul College Club. They were incredibly professional and friendly throughout the planning process and were always there to answer questions. On the day of our wedding, the venue was so beautiful and the food was fantastic. Our guests kept telling us how perfect everything was! I would highly recommend working with the St. Paul College Club to have your dream wedding.

The Saint Paul College Club was the perfect reception venue for our wedding!! I can’t say enough good things about them! The space was beautiful, we received multiple compliments from our guests on how delicious the food was, we were able to bring in our own liquor, and the staff was amazing. It was fun that the event space is a mansion, our guests loved exploring the variety of rooms. We were able to drop off our decorations a few days before and they were able to set up for us, which was a huge help! Jenny P. the event coordinator, was wonderful to work with and helped make our day so special!!

This beautiful venue, owned by the American Association of University Women, is perfect. The event coordinator made our experience better than we imagined it could be. She was organized, full of great ideas, especially helpful, and fun. On the day of the wedding, she made sure the entire event went smoothly. Several members of our wedding party and our parents commented on how awesome she was. Almost everyone who attended the wedding also commented on the food, which was spectacular. If the chef at the St. Paul College Club opened his own restaurant, we’d be the first to make reservations. We hope someone we know gets married at the St. Paul College Club soon so that we have a good reason to go back!

The St. Paul College Club was a total DREAM. We toured a lot of venues around the Twin Cities, but nothing compared to St. Paul College Club. It is a GORGEOUS house, with many areas for guests to spread out and talk to many people, versus just having to be at their tables all night. The location is stunning - right on historical Summit Avenue in St. Paul. There's also a beautiful backyard you have access to (it snowed on our October wedding day, so we weren't out there much) that is a gorgeous extension of the house. This venue is stately while also being extremely cozy, and feels secluded, even with being less than 10 minutes from downtown St. Paul.
A big reason we chose St. Paul College Club was the ability to make our reception exactly how we wanted. I did not want a band or DJ, just a playlist. They have an awesome audio setup you can bundle in, including a projector. You can also bring all of your own alcohol for the bar, which was another way for us to really make it our own, by only bringing the items we wanted to serve. The staff was also just flexible with how we wanted the rooms setup, the schedule to run, and how the decorations were done (sidenote: they have a decorator who will setup everything for you, you just drop it all off!). Their in-house chef is incredible, (and took out the necessity for us to choose a caterer) and I got SO many compliments on the food.

We absolutely adored this venue from the moment we walked through the door! It gives you a great feeling to know that part of the expenses help the women's club provide scholarships for women. The "a la carte" style may seem overwhelming at first, but it was so nice to be able to design our wedding just the way we wanted it without spending gobs of money! So convenient to have an exclusive caterer - made our planning so much easier! We decided on heavy hors d'oeuvres rather than a formal sit-down dinner, which helped guests mingle and take advantage of the many rooms in the mansion! Also, the ability to bring your own alcohol cannot be overstated!!! We still get comments from guests about how fun it was! The staff at SPCC were stellar; in fact, I remember calling Jenny "my spirit animal." Ha! Such a special thing to get along so well with your event coordinator. They made our dreams come true! The day itself was perfect. The mansion created a space that was both classic/timeless/elegant AND homey/welcoming/fun! Not to mention, the venue is absolutely gorgeous, and your photos will turn out so well! We recommend this space for any event - it is so special! So grateful!

My husband and I were extremely happy with St. Paul College Club and could not have asked for a better experience. The venue was perfect for our budget and the overall flow of our wedding. The staff was great to work with, too. Jenny was always hospitable and open to us dropping by with questions or to see the space, and the day-of staff were thoughtful and professional. The food was also delicious. The College Club itself is a beautiful space and very well maintained--highly recommend for both indoor and outdoor weddings! Thanks to Jenny and the entire staff for making our day so special!

We cannot thank the entire staff enough for a wonderful wedding experience. Not only was the day as perfect as we could have hoped for but they were outstanding in helping us put it together! A great place to host any occasion

Stately and gracious surroundings, coupled with a very personal touch experience seems to be the hallmark of this gem of an event venue in the heart of St. Paul. From the first moment you enter the building, you have the sense that you are home. The Staff is exemplary and all have that rare gift of professionalism and expertise combined with a heart for real customer service. I have recommended this venue to so many other event planners because it is singular in the Twin Cities in it's relationship building responsiveness, openness to all ideas, and the quality of its staff. If you are looking for a venue to make your day beautiful, easy, and personal, then look no further than the St. Paul College Club.

We loved having our wedding at SPCC and our guests loved it too! We had 90 guests and were able to have the ceremony in the living room, which was really nice. The whole vibe is like having a house party if you lived in a gorgeous historical mansion, which was perfect for us. It was also the perfect venue since we were planning from out of state (there's so much included and/or easily added on for reasonable prices as far as food, staffing, and decor is concerned - so you don't have to work with a million separate vendors) AND are huge beer nerds (you can BYOB and pay them to serve it!) Would definitely make the decision to use them again!

Jennifer the coordinator was very flexible and helpful for all steps leading up to the wedding. Day of the wedding the staff was on point, especially the bartender and coordinator. Thanks to their efforts the biggest issue/kerfuffle/dilemma/situation to pop up all day was... we needed a pen. Which was actually solved by Jennifer. All in all delightful and I strongly recommend this venue.

Planned our event from Florida and yet wedding coordinator Jennifer made the dream a reality. The venue, the food, the staff all was perfect.

Jennifer worked hard to ensure that my daughter’s wedding and reception was as beautiful as we had envisioned and that we had everything the way we wanted it. We received many compliments on the delicious food and the beauty of the venue. Everything went as smoothly as possible and the few inevitable snafus were quickly attended to. We were extremely happy overall! Thank you!

We can't say enough about how much we liked working with the St. Paul College Club. We planned our wedding remotely, and the coordinators at the club made it so easy. We decided to go with some of the venue's suggested vendors, and they were all wonderful. Bonus: we saved so much money by being able to bring own alcohol. The property is beautiful and the food is delicious. Many of our guests loved that they could either dance or enjoy sitting outside during the reception. We highly recommend this venue!

Absolutely stunning space! The mansion was remarkable with so many spaces to wander and we were lucky enough to have a gorgeous sunny day, which allowed our guests to make the most of the outside grounds. In addition to the beauty of the venue, the meals were delicious. Our guests simply raved about how great the food was, which is certainly a rarity! Most mass-produced meals for special events are typically lacking. This was the exception to the rule! And finally, if you've always dreamed of idyllic fall foliage wedding photos, the surrounding trees and ivy on the building will take your break away. They photograph so beautifully against the creamy white stone of the building. It's a photographic fantasy. Absolutely loved it and would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

I cannot say enough positive things about St. Paul College Club. Our wedding was perfect, if there was something that went wrong, Kelsey Knudsen (our event coordinator who works at SPCC) was on it and took care of it. We have been so lucky to work with her through this process, she is easy to work with and is gracious as well as accommodating to our requests. Our guests continually mentioned how incredible the food was, how beautiful the venue itself was, and overall perfect the day went. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to be married in an affordable, elegant and beautiful location.

I had the challenge of planning my wedding across country, and I could not have done it without St. Paul College Club’s help. Seriously, it just wouldn’t have happened, total life savers. The entire process from the original tour, to booking, tasting and finally the big day they were so trustowrthy, never pushy, never tried to upsell you etc.  They answered and all our questions and put up all of our décor with no instructions perfectly. It was stunning. They even went the extra mile and switched out the “groom” sign upstairs to accommodate two brides. We were so touched. We had a very tight budget and so many vendors, people hauling alcohol, 2 different bakeries for cake, DIY DJ set up, Photobooth, Orchestra etc and everything flowed perfectly. When we were missing the flower petals they figured it out with the florist calmly and with no delay.  Everyone was so well organized. Family dropped off decorations a few days before hand and they let us know within hours of receiving if anything was missing and that our cake stand had broken! (My family never opened the box to check it when it was originally bought). They even offered to try to find one for us which wasn’t necessary but so thoughtful.

We had about 90 guests and did buffet style and the food was delicious, hot and plentiful. All the employees were so kind and professional. The bartenders were fast, no huge line for drinks etc. We did do a tasting which I HIGHLY recommend, the food the day of was the exact same, if not better the day of. I do remember the corn cake appetizer we sampled at the tasting was very salty so we switched it with something to something Lindsay recommended which was delicious.

The actual venue layout was perfect. Our wedding was Oct 16th and the leaves in the backyard and front street were INCREDIBLE. The layout of the venue is ideal because they have a perfectg living room set up for family that doesn’t want to dance and just wants to talk, catch up etc.

My husband and I were married at the Club in December of 2014. Our wedding was only 50-60 guests so it was a good value for the price because there was so much food! Technically it was a destination wedding for us and having a "built-in" wedding planner made all the planning so much easier and they were always available to talk. Even when no one could tell me where my wedding shoes went, they searched high and low (my parents-in-law had them). The house had a great intimate feel but plenty of space for our guests to feel comfortable.

We loved our summer wedding here! The cafe lights outside were perfect and the food was amazing. Everything went so smoothly!

Lindsey and the Staff at SPCC were PHENOMENAL! Emails were answered in a timely fashion, food was exceptional, and the atmosphere elegant.
The Staff were helpful in planning a surprise for my Groom which entailed contacting a market in Maryland and having cannoli's shipped for the wedding.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Beata was a HUGE help throughout our entire wedding planning process with the St. Paul College Club. We fell in love with the SPCC from the first visit we had with them and their quick responses and flexibility made it the perfect venue for our wedding! We met with Beata many times throughout our wedding planning process and she was so helpful in accommodating our needs and special requests!

On the day of we had numerous compliments on the food, the management and the overall venue. We truly couldn't have asked for a better day! We kept waiting for something to go wrong but they made the day and transitions of events so smooth that we were able to take the day and moments in! We highly recommend the SPCC to anyone! You won't be disappointed!!

We loved our wedding at the St. Paul College Club. We worked with Jayme and she was fantastic.

The St. Paul College Club somehow manages to combine classic St. Paul glamor with a very cozy and casual vibe. We had a February wedding and loved having the fireplaces going and a hot chocolate bar for our guests. We really didn't need to do much decorating because the building is already so pretty. We especially appreciated that we never felt pressured. There are lots of "upgrades" available, but Jayme was always very responsive to what we wanted and never made us feel like we needed any extra stuff to make our wedding special.

The service on the day of our wedding was flawless. The food was fantastic. Everything went so smoothly. I can hardly even believe how easy it all felt because the folks at the venue did such a great job! Jayme was available and attentive all day, but not hovering.

We had about 160 guests. We just barely squeezed everyone into the great room for dinner, any more and we would have had to seat folks in separate rooms. However, it was nice that our guests could wander around the whole house during the rest of the reception and decide if they wanted to tear it up on the dance floor or find a quieter spot to chat.

One of the big factors that drew us to this venue is the ability to bring in your own alcohol. We ordered from Thomas Liquors and they delivered everything and picked up whatever we didn't open after the event for a refund. It was so easy and saved us a TON over money over having to pay catering company prices for drinks. I think we spent under $1,000 in the end on drinks.

We ended up paying the venue a total of about $14,000. That included appetizers and a buffet dinner, the bartender and all of the servers, furniture, some fancy lights, set up, break down... basically everything except for booze. Overall it was a great value for a wedding that felt totally relaxed, but also glamorous and super fun!

I loved the St. Paul College Club. Jayme was friendly and very helpful during the planning process. She never seemed put out when I had last minute questions and had some great ideas that we incorporated into our big day. They are reasonably priced and everything is amazing, from the food, to the hot chocolate bar, and the venue is beautiful.

Our daughter's wedding reception was perfect thanks to the efforts of the amazing Beata Vanderzee, our St. Paul College Club event coordinator. She went above and beyond to insure that every single detail was covered...a beautifully unique, intimate, romantic environment...excellent onsite Chef...professional staff...a great venue choice!

I have worked with the Saint Paul College Club on a handful of weddings. The event coordinator is outstanding and always ensures the couple is comfortable with the day. It is apparent the communication and planning they have prior to the wedding day which allows it to flow smoothly. The catering staff is exceptional and cordial. As a photographer, I see a lot of events come together and the Saint Paul College Club keeps me informed and on the wedding day time line. The venue is charming, well kept and located on the prestige Summit Avenue in St Paul. This makes getting artistic, beautiful photos for my couples an easy task.

Everything went so amazingly smooth throughout the planning process! My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding assistant than Katie! She was awesome!!! The Saint Paul College Club was so flexible and willing to make changes and went above and beyond to make our special day just how we wanted. It's been a year and a half and people still talk about how fun, organized, and special our wedding was, and not to mention the food was delicious!!! My dad still talks about how drained Katie looked by the end of the night, she worked soooo hard to make thins perfect for us!! Thanks again!!!

Since we got married in the winter we were lucky to be the only wedding that weekend, so we got great attention and service from the staff, especially Beata. But, even if we had been 1 of 3, I have no doubt the service would have been any different. The venue was amazing and so much more affordable than other places in town. Everything was relaxed and perfect. I didn't have one stressful moment all day which means it all went smoothly. The places around the grounds make for amazing pictures and the building has so much character--way more than just a ballroom at a hotel. I would definitely recommend it!

The College Club was great to work with! Everyone commented on what a beautiful venue it is. It was super convenient to have both the ceremony and reception there and the upstairs area was nice to have because it meant we could have a little quiet time when we needed it and of course get ready there. We worked with Caitlin who handled all the questions, concerns, and changes easily. It was so helpful to have someone to guide us both before and during the day!

We are so, so glad that we chose the Saint Paul College Club for our wedding. The wedding coordinator, Beata, helped us so much with many aspects of planning our wedding, not just the venue-specific items. The space itself is beautiful, elegant and warm. The multiple rooms makes it a welcoming and functional place for an event, as does the indoor-outdoor space. The venue is also so reasonable and affordable. There are no "packages" to choose from, so you really can pick and choose just the items you really want. This helps keep it very affordable. Also, our guests were raving for days about how it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. The on-site caterer has a great menu selection and you can have tastings before hand to see which options you like the most. Beata really went above and beyond for us when my husband got sick the night before/day of the wedding, and worked in a very professional and friendly way with all of my family and our bridal party to make sure the event actually went as planned even when he and I were preoccupied with my husband's health. I really can't say enough about how fantastic our experience was with this venue and their staff. We HEARTILY and HEARTFELTLY recommend this venue! Go with cookies and cognac too for officiant/musicians/dj. They very frequently work at this venue and do a great job working with the SPCC and Beata!

I can't even begin to explain how amazing our wedding was at the St. Paul College Club. I was just married there less than 2 weeks ago and people are still raving about every aspect of their experience.

I had the privilege of working with Caitlin. I can't say enough great things about this wonderful gal. She was so on top of everything and got right back to me when I had a question. There was literally not one detail that she missed. She helped to calm me down even when I realized there was rain in the forecast for our outdoor wedding. She told me to let her worry about that to just enjoy my experience. It rained pretty much all day right up until the wedding was supposed to begin, but there was a break in the rain and Caitlin and her amazing team were outside wiping down all the chairs so we could have our ceremony outside and then rushed us back inside before it started to pour. Caitlin was so professional and composed with all of the craziness happening around her. She gave her opinion if I asked for it, but also let me do my own thing.

The venue itself is so unbelievably beautiful. It has the old charm and character of a historical mansion, but has also been updated beautifully over time. The bridal suite is to die for! My bridesmaids and I had such a fun time getting ready there. The bridal suite and grooms room have both been recently renovated and both are exquisite! And don't even get me started on the chandelier in the Great Hall. It is beyond gorgeous!

The food is A+. I am still receiving compliments on how amazing it was and how it is so much better than "normal wedding food". They have a French chef onsite who is so great. We went and sampled 4 different entrees before picking ours and we really couldn't have gone wrong with anything. They were all fantastic.

I can say without a doubt that I wouldn't change a thing and am so pleased with the St. Paul College Club's work - especially Caitlin! Thank you! :)

The st. Paul College Club was AMAZING!!!! I don't even know where to start. Our wedding coordinator was Beata and from the first meet to the wedding day she was completely professional and caring. She was able to answer any questions we had and gave us reassurance with each meet that this was going to be the wedding of our dreams. She helped in a big way to make our wedding everything we hoped it would be and I am honored to have worked with such an incredible coordinator. Anyone who chooses this beautiful venue must request Beata. She is vital part of this amazing mansion. No grander words can be used to describe how wonderful Beata is. I wish i could invent one to use just for her!

The actual mansion is so unbelievably exquisite. Our guest were blown away with its grand beauty and many rooms. I had always wanted an indoor wedding so we wouldn't have to be dependent on the weather but once we saw the backyard, I was insistent on having our ceremony outside. We were fortunate enough to be able to be married out in the gorgeous backyard, but the plan b option of inside would have been just as amazing. I can't think of a single corner of The St. Paul College Club that wouldn't have been ideal for our ceremony. The food was a big hit with our guest. One concern we had was for those people with a diet restriction (my husband's cousin and uncle have a serve allergy to glueten) but they were able to accommodate their needs with equally amazing food. We went with the roast beef crostinis and the mozzarella crostinis for cocktail hour appetizers. Everyone loved them. We probably could have gotten away with serving those for dinner too with how popular they were! But I'm glad we went with the chicken pesto with spring vegetables and mashed potatoes. Even those with allergies were able to enjoy a variation of dinner. The staff was amazing and the bartender we had that night was quick and friendly!

We just had our wedding reception here and we loved everything about it. The ambiance was exactly what we were looking for in a venue - it has the feel of a mansion, but cozier than the other mansions we had looked at, and more reasonably priced. Working with Beata leading up to the big day was great - she is extremely helpful, organized, professional, and responsive. She coordinated with all of our other vendors and made the day worry-free. Beata went above and beyond to make everything seamless, and even stepped in to help with a dress emergency - I was relieved she was there and willing to step in! The food was phenomenal, as well. We went with heavy hors d'oeuvres instead of a formal seated dinner, and our guests raved about every single item. The setup was exactly what we envisioned - lots of both high and low tables, with plenty of room to walk around and visit, and tons of votive candles everywhere.

Overall, it was beautiful, exactly the look and feel we were going for, the food was wonderful, and Beata made everything come together perfectly. My husband and I would not hesitate to recommend the Saint Paul College Club to anyone!

This venue is so fantastic! My fiance and I wanted an intimate, romantic setting for our smaller (around 100 people) wedding. We had both our ceremony and reception indoors. The mansion is well maintained, cozy, and definitely had that vintage romantic charm that we wanted our wedding to have. There are so many options to make your wedding more up-scale, or basic depending on your needs and budget. We appreciated this so much because my fiance and I could pick and choose what details were more important to us and which ones we wanted to forego. The food was great, communication was always timely and helpful and we felt that we were walked through the process without any surprises or bumps along the way. The coordinator on-site also helps to ensure all needs are met. Getting to bring your own alcohol is also a major bonus! Overall we were so happy with every aspect of our wedding. We toured many venues before deciding on this one, and we would 100% choose The St. Paul College Club over again for our wedding!

Wendie at the St. Paul College Club was absolutely amazing! I needed to plan our wedding from California but Wendie made it a breeze. It was more beautiful than I ever expected. St. Paul College Club also catered our custom menu. The food was delicious and our guests raved!

St. Paul College Club was perfect for our wedding! The staff were so professional and nice, the place was beautiful, I did not have to do a thing on my wedding day and neither did my groom or parents! The food was amazing and displayed nicely. We have received many compliments and are so happy!

St Paul College Club was a lovely venue for our wedding and our wedding planner, Caitlin, was so fabulous and easy to work with. We had a July wedding with the ceremony in the yard and reception inside and it was beautiful, do not hesitate to book this venue. The chandelier in the dining room is absolutely stunning and pictures do not do it justice. It sparkles and is HUGE; your guests will be dazzled. I am still receiving so many compliments on beautiful everything looked.

One huge benefit is they let you stock your own bar - big money saver. Our guests were very thirsty and we were running low on liquor - no problem! Caitlin called a liquor store down the road they work with and had them deliver the extra goodies we needed. It was seamless.

I dropped off most of my decorations including candles, flowers, photos, centerpieces, rose petals ect without providing much direction and when I arrived the day of the wedding they had everything set up and displayed more beautiful than I could have imagined. They literally take care of everything! At the end of the night, they had everything packed up before I knew it and all I had to do was assign people to take the items home. I didn't have to lift a finger.

The food was great, the bartender was great, the wait staff were quick.

The only reason I did not give it a perfect 5 stars for value, is because you pay by the hour for renting the mansion and even if you are just using the bridal suite to get ready and no guests have arrived, you still have to pay the full rental fee for those hours.

We loved the St. Paul College Club for our wedding day. The backyard was beautiful at night with the cafe lights during our reception. Our guests loved the food! The planning was easy and very flexible. They are definitely one of the best venues in the twin cities if you're looking for the best bang for your buck.

I would absolutely recommend SPCC to anyone! It is by far the best bang for your buck in the Twin Cities area! The venue is absolutely stunning, even for a winter wedding - we were nervous about getting married in the Winter because we didn't think things would be as pretty but boy were we wrong! So many compliments on the venue and especially the food! Did I mentioned it's BYOB? Talk about a money saver. And let me tell you about the staff... AMAZING - I had 2 coordinators leave throughout my process which was scary, but Jennifer and Keelia stepped right up and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable - they take care of EVERYTHING for you, our parents were blown away by their services. Book your wedding here - you won't regret it.

The first time I saw the College Club, I knew I wanted to get married there - and the actual experience exceeded my expectations. We had our ceremony there (in the back yard) and our reception inside. The food was AMAZING- both the appetizers and the dinner. And we got a great deal on a cake through their vendor - also delicious. I was very impressed with how helpful and responsive the staff was. I dropped off multiple boxes of decorations and favors with instructions and when I arrived the day of my wedding everything was done! And I'm very picky - they'd done it just how I would have done it myself.
I really can't say enough about the staff and service here. They helped make my wedding day easy and worry free.

Loved the venue and the historic feel to me. It was more of a fit for me me my husband than a hotel or conference center type of place. We worked with Beata, who was very responsive and flexible, especially given a number of last minute changes we requested.

The St. Paul College Club was the perfect venue for our wedding! We loved the intimate and romantic feel the club provided. There are great rooms upstairs for the bride and groom to get ready in. The bathroom in the bride's room is one of a kind! Super fun for photos! Our open house style reception featured heavy appetizers and dessert. Our guests raved about the food and enjoyed the fact they could go back for seconds and thirds throughout the evening. Our planner, Caitlin, was fantastic! She was our second planner but the transition was smooth and she went out of her way to make sure she was up to speed on everything. She returned my (many) emails in a very timely fashion and always answered my questions and provided suggestions when needed. I had ideas of what I wanted but knew I could rely on Caitlin's experience to guide me in the right direction. Her and her staff did an amazing job making sure the food and desserts were always fresh and fully stocked the entire time. All of the decorations and flowers were set-up by the time I arrived at the club. I was relieved not to have to worry about making sure everything was in place. As things came up during the evening, Caitlin always responded with a positive attitude and just got it done! Being able to bring in your own liquor is definitely a plus. We took advantage of the spring sale going on at Haskell's. We had a lot of liquor leftover but were able to return the unopened items for a credit. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with our experience at the SPCC!!

My husband and I got married at the St. Paul College Club in April and it was a wonderful experience. While there were a few communication snafus during the planning process, Tracy, the venue coordinator, was quick to address our concerns and promised everything on the day-of would be perfect. She and the whole team (catering, bar tenders, etc.) at the College Club really delivered. Our day was magical and the venue and food were highlights for us and our guests. We chose to do a cocktail style reception and the space lent itself so well to that relaxed yet classy vibe. The food was amazing and we were glad to have so much say in the menu. We chose to serve an entirely vegetarian menu and had some other dietary needs to consider and the chef and team did a wonderful job. I would recommend the St. Paul College Club to anyone looking for a stunning, versatile venue with a perfect location for out of town guests (5 miles from the airport). Thank you Tracy and team for such an unforgettable experience!

Overall we would rate the College Club 4.5/5. The space is beautiful with lots of cool rooms for interesting photos, they did the decorating and catering in-house which kept everything simple for us, and it was the least expensive venue we looked at. We paid about $12k for 130 guests, and that included decorating, passed apps during the cocktail hour, buffet with one entree, and nacho bar at 10pm. The food wasn't GREAT, but it was good. Downside: The venue coordinator was not as organized or professional as we would have liked. We answered some of the same questions more than once during the planning process, and on the day of our event she asked the groom where the cake was and asked him to track it down when in fact it had already been delivered. Plus she interrupted our reveal photos to make the photographer take her business card. Nonetheless, while we hope she can learn to take better notes and manage details better in the future, it was still a fantastic night.

We were able to have our dream wedding at the St. Paul College Club! It was everything we imagined. The staff is professional, flexible and really willing to make your day unique and personal. Also - the option to BYOB is amazing. We saved SO much, and got lots of compliments on our drinks. Something we never would have been able to afford had we not gone here. The only negative experience we had was that in our year long engagement, we went through three different event coordinators. They were all wonderful, but it made it a little hard to keep things consistent.

Our wedding week sadly was filled with rain so while it wasn't going to rain on Friday (our wedding day) we did have to decided to move our ceremony indoors the evening before (unless we wanted our guests sinking into the mud during the ceremony). Jennifer was great about it though and helped calm me down about the last minute change. The ceremony was just as beautiful indoors as it would have been out and the twinkle lights in the backyard still allowed the guests to enjoy the outdoors. The backyard was gorgeous even in Saptember. And it was large enough to get a "group photo" of everyone at the wedding. The crew did a great job turning the space over for the reception and again Jennifer was awesome throughout it all. The space is beautiful and was the perfect size for our 100 guest count wedding. Everyone enjoyed exploring the various rooms and loved the historical look of it all. Also, the food prepared by the onsite chef was soooo delicious. Our guests loved it all and we recieved many compliments. The food minimum is where the price can get a little steep, but the fact that you supply your own alcohol is a huge money saver (so it all equals out) rental rates are also really reasonable. We had a Friday wedding and it was even more afforadable that way.

St. Paul College Club is almost all inclusive considering all the tables, chairs, dishes, glassware, flatware, basic centerpieces, and linens that come for free with booking there. As someone who works weddings frequently, this is NOT common and can really add a ton of cost to your budget. They also don't charge extra for the ceremony space which was a huge factor for us. The best part, though, (other than their AMAZING food) is that they have been so flexible with us in accommodating any different things we've wanted to do with menu options, linens, and things. They have been so helpful with everything and everything we've asked for so far has been accommodated. I can't wait to see how the day turns out.

The food was amazing, the house is beautiful and Abby was very good at managing the people the day of the wedding.

It was a little difficult getting information from them at first b/c there event coordinator staff changed part way through our planning process - but in the end it was perfect.

This is a beautiful place to get married, but I wish our onsite coordinator hadn't been so inexperienced. I am glad we had the site and the decor, and the staff did so much to make the day run smoothly. The site allowed us to have alcohol on the tables, which was important because of my husband's culture. The food was good, and it was beautiful, inside and out. We expected to pay $12,000 for food, the site, setup/tear down, security, valet, waitstaff and decor, and we did. Since our wedding, I understand that our specific coordinator has been let go, but this was my experience. I would recommend this place to a friend knowing that they would receive better customer service.

St Paul college club is a BEAUTIFUL place to get married. It was perfect for an intimate unique wedding experience and we could not have chosen a better place to match our wedding theme. and I want to make sure that I emphasize that my wedding was BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT!
HOWEVER, My coordinator was switched 3 times before the big day due to some changes in employment and the coordinator assigned to my wedding, Caitlin, was not the type of coordinator I wanted. I was told initially that my coordinator would be as hands on or hands off as I would like and this coordinator was not as hands on as I would have liked-- lets just say that she was a very good hands off coordinator, not quite was I was needing for for me personally as a young bride planning a wedding with no help. She really had no opinion on how to coordinate a wedding. I was told that the coordinator runs through everything with you during the rehearsal, and she was very quiet and didn't know how to direct us for the ceremony. I, as the bride, had to take the lead because she wouldn't quite step up and coordinate us. On the day of our wedding, NOTHING was decorated (I was told by my previous coordinators that they work late after the rehearsal to set everything up for the next day) and we had family scrambling around trying to decorate. Had I known that she wouldn't have been doing what I was told would happen with the other 2 coordinators I met with, I would have payed the extra time to decorate the place myself!
The wedding turned out gorgeous and perfect despite my coordinator and I not seeing eye to eye. I just had to put in a bit more work and I had a bit more stress than I originally had planned. It's truly a beautiful venue and is PERFECT for weddings. its so elegant and charming. Everyone was complimenting on me finding this venue.

We had our wedding here in 2018. I'd first like to say that this venue is beautiful - the backyard, exterior and interior are all amazing for photos. Our wedding day was stunning because of the beautiful backyard, mansion exterior, and interior. I would have nothing but wonderful things to say about the St. Paul College Club if it weren't for our wedding coordinator Jennifer. While our relationship with Jennifer started out fine, it quickly turned sour when she stopped responding to my emails, didn't check in on us whatsoever, wouldn't send the correct invoice (and then made a huge mistake on our invoice) and didn't even check with us about our guests' meal choices - just sent in the wrong numbers. It got so stressful in the days before the wedding that I even called the manager and asked for her to be replaced on the day, however, the other coordinator was not available. Unfortunately it didn't get better on our wedding day, with Jennifer making me feel essentially like it wasn't my special day. She was short and harsh with guests (even my husband's mom) and made me feel like I was more of a nuissance than a bride. I will say that she did help coordinate the day, but she didn't do it in a way that I found acceptable whatsoever. While I ended up loving my wedding day, I'm saddened that someone who I was paying good money would make me feel like an inconvenience. My final advice - book this venue, but ask that Jennifer is not your coordinator.

My husband and I saw the SPCC and knew we had to tour it for our wedding. It had everything we were looking for from a timeless look and not just a big event space to a beautiful outdoor space. However, the management was really not great at all. I worked with Jennifer and she added more stress than helped. If my mom was not an event planner, I would have paid way more for miscellaneous items because of Jennifer. She was not very flexible and tried to talk us out of our wedding vision of hosting the dinner outside. I felt as if I did not lay everything out detail by detail in a table, Jennifer would not understand what was happening. She was very pushy the night of our wedding and guest stepped in to create a barrier between us and her as we should not be bothered on our wedding night. Which was really too bad considering our guest had to "work" at our wedding. Jennifer also caused a scene with our liquor vendor and made him do extra work because of how disorganized she was. It was really annoying and really just too bad considering the venue is so elegant.
SPCC does their own in house catering and that was outstanding! All in all, if you go with the SPCC - request not to be with Jennifer and I bet you will have a great experience. We did love our day and was happy we picked SPCC at the end of all of this (mainly thanks to my mom who knew how to plan an event).

The St. Paul College Club is gorgeous and was everything we dreamed of for what we envisioned our wedding looking like. The food and catering staff were also exceptional. For all of the pros of this venue, working with the venue coordinator was a nightmare. She did not answer our questions and routinely spoke down to us and dismissed our requests. It was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. If you are in love with this venue like we were, plan to hire a wedding planner to deal with the mess that is the senior management.

I was a bride at this venue in October of 2017. My husband and I were beyond excited when we were informed on prices and especially when we found out the venue included a wedding planner. The wedding planner was beyond rude to my family and guests on the day of the wedding. They were constantly going to my family on the wedding day stating they “needed more money” because they “forgot to include it in the final price”. This happened at least 4 times. When it was time for our wedding photos, the wedding planner was extremely rude to my photographer, telling her to “hurry up” after only 30 minutes of our photos being taken. My wedding photographer told me she had never encountered such a rude wedding planner until the day of my wedding. The wedding planner even went to the gentlemen who married us and was gossiping about my family TO A FAMILY MEMBER. Completely unprofessional. I highly suggest getting married elsewhere. I will never forget the horrible experience I had at this location for my own wedding day. Disappointed is an understatement. Kelseys unprofessionalism will always be something I remember when looking back on my wedding day. Stay away.
