Sweet venue at St Marks Episcopal church in Huntersville. Beautiful grounds and very friendly and professional staff. Onsite church and optional onsite catering makes wedding prep easy. Friday set up is included which also lowers your wedding day stress level! Everything goes perfectly! -

First, it’s beautiful. We did our ceremony at a Catholic church down the street and had our reception at the Rafters, but my favorite photos are by far the ones we took in front of the St Mark’s chapel- it’s so romantic! As a reception venue, it is very reasonably priced, and has everything you could need. We got ready in the adorable carriage house, and we also did my bridal shoot there a few weeks before the wedding- they turned out beautifully. Also, if you book with their caterer (The Flyin’ Lions), you get a discount AND support a good cause! But that’s not even the best part: their food is AMAZING. I am literally still dreaming about the salmon and mashed potatoes from my wedding day, and so many guests told me how much they loved the food. The taste testing was fun too, they have a ton of options! Also, Allison is the best coordinator EVER. You will love working with her, and every vendor I hired that had worked with her before told me the same thing! She is so personable and really gets to know you, and she will bend over backwards to help you with whatever you need. She is fantastic with communication; her responsiveness and helpfulness alone reduced my wedding planning stress. I also loved the preferred vendor list Allison provided; it made it a lot easier to narrow down our vendor choices! Allison and Debbie (from Flyin’ Lions) made our wedding and all the months leading up to it so special and wonderful; we cannot recommend them enough! -

Allison is amazing and is so responsive to questions. Being the first wedding in their new reception hall was a bit nerve racking but Allison and my day of coordinator made everything a breeze!!! It was a perfect day! -

Beautiful Venue and Historic Chapel
The Rafters at Historic St. Mark's is absolutely stunning. The venue is brand new and included all of the tables, chairs, and tablecloths we could need. One of our favorite parts about this venue was that it is located on the grounds of a historic church, and the chapel was the perfect place for our wedding ceremony. Shout out to the venue coordinator, Allison, who was extremely professional, flexible, and easy to work with. We highly recommend this venue to all couples! -

The Rafters at St. Mark’s is simply beautiful!!! As a Wedding Planner/Designer/Coordinator I have seen my share of venues…..not only are the grounds gorgeous but the sanctuary is exquisite and the reception area is equally perfect. Best of all is the support and guidance received by their onsite wedding coordinator Allison. She went the extra mile to make sure that everything was stress free for my bride and was my right hand woman!!
Thank you to Allison, St. Mark’s and The Rafters! I highly recommend!!

From the very first communication to the final so long, Allison with The Rafters is 100% dedicated to making your day the absolute best it can be! The venue is GORGEOUS, the grounds are BEAUTIFUL, and the church is so very special. The attention to every single detail for Brides and Grooms is what makes Allison and The Rafters so special. She has created a Bride's space and Groom's space that is so inviting and lovely, you almost don't want to leave! The people of St. Mark's have a very special gem. Trust me, you do not want to scroll on by. Pictures don't do it justice, and the coordinator, Allison, is the absolute SWEETEST, EASIEST person to work with! If I could give them a million stars I would!
