Excellent Decor
St. John’s really brought our wedding vision together! We actually got to walk through their warehouse full of decor and furniture to select the items we wanted, and they were super responsive when we decided to make a few changes. Ultimately, we were so glad we got a tent with lighting underneath even though it didn’t rain because it looks stunning in the photos and made the outdoor area more of an event space. We highly recommend using them!

Great rentals - super easy to work with!
We had our wedding at the lightner museum in Nov 2025, and we got all of our rentals including plates/cups/cutlery, draping etc from SJI, they were great to work with, super responsive, and had everything we needed! would definitely recommend again.

Elegant Decor!
Working with SJI was a breeze. They came highly recommended from my venue, and it is easy to see why!
When I reached out for pricing, they provided a pricing sheet specific to my venue, which really helped me build my vision. It also helped a lot to know that SJI is always at my venue, so I knew the quality would be excellent.
I rented a lot from them -- linens, chargers, faux greenery boxwood, string lights, and drapinig on the dancefloor.. All of it was gorgeous and came out exactly as pictured in the pricing sheet / pics online.
They are incredibly flexible, allowing for any changes until the week before the wedding. Moreover, the initial plan was for my decor to get delivered same day (add'l fee) but when this changed the week of the wedding and they were able to set up the day before, they refunded me without hassle at all.
Guests complimented all the decor items and marveled at how beautiful everything looked. I do not hesitate SJI - they are professional and their inventory of items are very high-quality!

St. Johns was so flexible with us rescheduling our wedding twice and changing the type of tables and chairs we had originally decided on (rescheduled wedding was smaller than originally planned). We had them set up at two locations, on the beach for the ceremony and at our reception venue. Everything was perfectly placed. They also set up string lights at our reception venue which absolutely made the atmosphere. I'm SO glad we did the lights and St. Johns was great with helping us decide on everything. Flexible, professional, responsive, they're everything you want out of a vendor.

St. Johns Illuminations did such an amazing job setting up my wedding space. We rented string lights for the inside of our reception space, curtain lights to hang on the wall behind the bride and groom, a beautiful wooden head table, a unique hanging ladder which our florist decorated with greenery, and sparklers for our grand exit! We were so pleased with how everything turned out, and I can't recommend St. Johns Illuminations enough for wedding rentals.

Perfect Easels for Our Wedding Showpieces
An important part of our wedding day was a display of photo collages with our guests, both in attendance and those not able to come due to COVID. They were placed right at the entrance of the wedding venue for all to look at and enjoy. We also did collages of the family and friends of myself (the bride) and groom, and showcased photos of us when we were kids. The easels that we received from St. Johns Illuminations were beautiful and fit right in with our decor and flower arrangements. They were also very sturdy as we needed to hold large photo frames! Customer service was wonderful and everyone was extremely helpful and got us excited for our big day.

Probably one of the easiest vendors to work with! They were super easy to get ahold of and talk to about what all they are able to do at our venue. Everything St. Johns did for our wedding was perfect. They were of course super friendly and met with us the venue to talk about what we wanted. They set up our ceremony area with all the chairs and draped linens. We loved our cute sweetheart table we rented. And the string lights and chandelier made our whole event. It was so beautiful and memorable!

I worked with Emilee over emails and we met in person at the venue a couple of times - she was fantastic to work with & on our wedding day all of the lighting looked great! We had a little snaffu the week of the wedding because they didn't think there were enough uplights in the color I originally wanted so we had come up with another plan that week but the day of, the setup crew didn't have the new plan. So they setup what we'd originally discussed instead and that was fine with me. At the end of the day it all looked wonderful and gave a great ambiance to our wedding which we really loved. Would highly recommend!

She was quick to respond to our last minute requests when the weather failed to cooperate!! James did an excellent job of turning our rustic venue into an elegant showplace. We got married at the Fountain of Youth, a beautiful venue but you literally have to bring everything in, chairs, tables, linens, lights, etc. St Johns Illuminations handled all of our rentals, set up, and bread down. Emilee helped us alter our rental invoice so many times and was always very helpful. They have so many cool rentals to choose from so you can really make your wedding unique. They helped make the wedding of our dreams! Using them and Coastal Celebrations with Lindsay for wedding planning is like the allstar wedding vendor team!!!!

We used St. Johns Illuminations for our wedding ceremony at the Winterbourne Inn in Orange Park. The lighting was exactly what I wanted. The string lights with the paper lanterns really have our venue an entirely different look and feel. They were very easy to work with and made arrangements with my venue to arrive early to set up. Can't believe how amazing some lights made our wedding!

their website was the best out of all the rental companies I considered - clean, organized, easy to navigate. They had everything I wanted/needed and more for my wedding. Extremely easy to work with - respond to emails within a day or two, will make changes you request right away, friendly and professional. I even had to add a couple of décor items the evening (after 5 pm) the day before the wedding (surprises happen when you least expect them), and Lindsey gave me her cell, sent me the quote, and made sure items were delivered next morning. That's what I call going above and beyond

I had a pre party area, ceremony area, and the pavilion to be lit up to perfection, James' work was breathtaking. Guests couldn't stop talking about how the lighting accented the natural beauty of the park. St. John's Illumination is professional, responsive and gives that personal touch all brides strive for. Very easy to work with! Made us feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Our ceremony was on the beach and unfortunately the area had flooded and they pulled through and came up with a solution and made it happen further along the beach! Always willing to go above and beyond and make your special day exactly what you want. Even if your not a creative person they have plenty of it for you, just show them a picture or give them an idea of what you are looking for and they can make it happen. Would recommend to anyone looking for that company who is going to put that extra touch on your special day!

We used them for the chains of lights that ran from The trees to the building for our outside wedding venue and the life size jenga. The lights made the evening magical. We worked with St. John’s Illuminations to help light up our wedding reception! They set up café lights for us outside in the courtyard area of the Pioneer Barn in St. Augustine and the setup looked great! The lights really made a huge difference for our reception once the sun went down and they strung them up exactly how we wanted. We also wanted to have a sparkler send off and they were the only business in the immediate area that sold long (22”) sparklers and the price was very reasonable. We worked with Jimmy to get everything booked and he was very nice, helpful, and quick to respond. If you’re looking for lighting for your event, these are the guys to go to!

Jimmy was a pleasure to work with! He was responsive, extremely dependable and reliable under the ever-changing demands of a bride planning an indoor/outdoor wedding. Jimmy gave us both a quality dance floor and simple, classy lighting at a reasonable price.
The days leading up to the wedding proved to be less than ideal weather-wise... He was approaching a very upsetting situation for a bride that had her heart set on an outdoor dance floor. He reassured me everything would turn out great - and even offered some solid alternative options for the lights and dance floor. The day of the wedding, the dance floor was a beautiful wood (and way better quality than other vendors presented to me) and the lights were perfection. Our photographer was so impressed, she even added St. John's Illuminations as a preferred vendor to her brochure immediately. Thank you, Jimmy! You saved this bride's sanity and wedding!

I always wanted to get married during "Nights of Lights" but our schedule this year just didnt allow for it .. We got married on Nov 8th and I choose to bring "Nights of Lights" to us. I could not have pulled this off without Jim. He was amazing!! My ceremony venue was Fountain of Youth. Jim hung beautful white draping over the arbor and hung a chandelier making this space so cozy and rustic. Our reception was at the Sanchez House where Jim strung more white lights than you could imagine, along with 2 chandeliers, uplighting AND we even rented out beautiful rustic farm tables from Jim. Last minute the weather was supposed to drop and he was able,the day before,to bring us 2 space heaters , appreciated by many. He was just awesome. Easy to deal with, easy to pay and awesome at what he does.

Jimmy is the nicest and most patient man to work with. I changed my mind 234234534534 times and he would always have great ideas and options to work with. He never seemed too busy to help (even though I got married during a crazy, busy time) and always was pleasant to work with.
He provided my venue with the arbor for ceremony, dance floor, all of the lighting, and BEAUTIFUL wooden farm style tables that I LOVED. He was by far the most reasonable priced too. Quality rentals, excellent customer service, and fair pricing.....look no further than St. Johns Illuminations!

Not only did he provide all of the lighting for our outdoor event at the Llambias House, he coordinated ALL of the rentals we needed from two different rental companies, delivered them, arranged them, and picked them up after the wedding! Not only did he string beautiful bulbs, but also provided all the rentals for farm tables, white chairs, a chandelier, wooden bar, vintage vanity for the cake table, drapes to separate the dinner from the cocktail/reception area, kids' table/chairs and dance floor! To be honest, I had not thought about lighting for our ceremony until a few days before the event. The Friday night bride at our venue used this company and they asked if we wanted the lights kept up during our wedding the following day for a reasonable fee. I was hesitant at first, but so glad we paid the price and kept the lights up. It was a beautiful addition to the wedding and with the fantastic weather, it was simply beautiful! Jim and his team know what they are doing and know how to transform a venue from beautiful to spectacular!

We can't say enough about Jimmy and his team. They met us about six months prior to our wedding to go over the details at the Government House. He ran lights from the balcony with drapes coming down in the middle as well as lights outside on the bushes. They were all beautiful and made the outdoor area so romantic. Jimmy even picked up our outdoor furniture the week prior and returned the day after the event. Thank you Jimmy for your making the outdoors of the Government House beautiful for our special day!

Jim Dugger saved our wedding day with his big beautiful tent and his great lighting. I don't know what we would have done without the tent. They set it up a day before the wedding and it was definitely needed for the rehearsal since it rained. The lighting was perfect and the combination of lighting and tent turned our event from a back yard wedding into an intimate and beautiful event. I actually did not use them for lighting, but I did rent benches and an arch for my outdoor wedding. Jimmy was very helpful. I submitted a request on his website and heard from him within a few hours. He sent me photos of the benches and arches as well as went to the venue to give me a quote on lighting. On the day of the event, he was there at 11 am to scope things out. Everything was setup by 3:00. It rained at 5:00 and he was there making sure everything was secure and dry for my guests who were to arrive at 6:30. Right after my 7:00 wedding, he was there to break down and clean up. Jimmy was ON it! His prices were very reasonable and he allowed me to pay online via PayPal. I highly recommend St. Johns Illuminations!

I hired Jim to do our wedding lighting at The Ribault Club. He came out to the venue for a site meeting months before our.wedding and was very helpful and friendly. He hung 4 chandeliers from our ceremony tree and also did string lighting above our dance floor outside. Everyone raved about how beautiful the lighting looked and it definitely made our ceremony as beautiful as it was. Jim is friendly and easy to work with and I would recommend him to anyone.

It's a bit pricey to rent linen through them because they use an outside company, but there's not a lot of options in the St. Augustine area, so I felt they were the best option. Everything arrived and was picked up on time.

Jim was great. At the last minute we had to put up a tent in our outdoor venue. He switched from doing string lighting from the trees to the tent.

St. John's illuminations did an absolutely beautiful job with our wedding! Our wedding was held on a large piece of property on the outskirts of Saint Augustine Florida. There is literally nothing on the property and they turned it into a magical, romantic wonderland! It was everything that I dreamed of and more than I could've ever imagined! The staff that they sent out to install everything was so friendly and professional! I would definitely use this vendor again for other events!

We got everything we asked for, and he was able to add a tent heater and deliver on very short notice. Payment was very easy and his inventory made it easy for us to get all we needed from one vendor. Also made it very easy that he works closely with our venue, the Winterbourne Inn. If I could mention any room for improvement, the only reason I didn't give a perfect score is because of communication. I wasn't able to get a delivery/setup time from him, and when he delivered he didn't ask where we wanted the stuff we rented, He just picked a spot and put it there. In the rush to finish everything else we didn't have time to move it around. The 5 cocktail barrels and the jenga set were intended for cocktail hour on the front lawn, and since they were put on the back deck they weren't used. It ended up being a pretty big waste of money for those items - I would say that this is partially my fault and partially his. I don't regret using this vendor because our wedding wouldn't have been the same without the lights and the tent, and I think the price was reasonable, and service was timely!

I had string lighting on the lawn at the Winterbourne Inn in Orange Park. Everything was great, it's exactly what I wanted and it's beautiful, the only thing is it's expensive for what you're getting. In the end I'm glad I had them do the lighting, I don't think I could have done it myself, and it was so nice to have it set up when I arrived and I didn't have to worry about taking it down.

St. Johns Illuminations provided excellent service for our wedding. The draping and lighting was beautiful. They provided their services in a very timely manner with great professionalism and even added extra touches at no extra charge. They were wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend them.

Our draping and arch looked spectacular in our venue space! We got a little nervous when they hadn't delivered the drapes when they said they would, but they made it in for our wedding and everything looked great! They really made the venue space pop.

I had ordered string lighting, a tent to be set up and a chandelier for my daughters wedding at the Winterbourne November 2016. As the time got closer, I realized it might turn into a chilly evening and added two heaters for that evening. Unfortunately they were not delivered as expected. Also the tent that I had ordered for some of my guests to sit under had no lights. Had I been informed of this I would've added that to my order as well. So unfortunately the guests under the tent ate in the dark and were chilly due to the fact there was no heater. Other than that the string lights iand the chandelier looked great. My money for the heater was refunded but that was beside the point. So buyer beware… If having a tent for your evening function make sure you request some sort of lighting for under that tent. Otherwise your guests will also be in the dark like mine were.

I would NOT recommend this vendor. They failed to deliver the chairs as agreed which I had reserved and paid for almost a month ahead. On my wedding day we received mixed messages about the truck breaking down on the other side of town which required them to pull chairs from another wedding (only 80 arrived instead of the 110 in our agreement). I arrived with guests not seated as they frantically placed the chairs and decided only to seat women and children 1st. Some older men had to stand in the back (looks great in the photos)!!! After the wedding when I asked for the refund for what wasnt delivered which I had paid for, I received a message stating the following "the chairs weren’t brought over from another event, we were at another event setting up and ended up running behind (typical event set up smiley face) We had on our schedule to go grab the chairs from the warehouse for your event. But because of the parade and traffic downtown we made the call to use the chairs that were for another wedding for your event. We apologize for not being able to produce the total amount of chairs that we agreed upon." This was a different explanation than has been given on my wedding day to my wedding day of coordinator! Do yourself a favor and dont hire a company who cannot plan and manage their schedule on Saturday where weddings are common in a city like St Augustine.

I had a pre party area, ceremony area, and the pavilion to be lit up to perfection, James' work was breathtaking. Guests couldn't stop talking about how the lighting accented the natural beauty of the park. St. John's Illumination is professional, responsive and gives that personal touch all brides strive for. I highly recommend St. John's Illumination for your event.
