Hidden Rhode Island GEM!

I found a wedding venue and my parents found a community! We first toured Squantum in Summer 2021 in search of a wedding venue when we discovered all Squantum had to offer! My parents' were so pleased they decided to join as members. Over the course of the next 16 months the employees became friends and family to my family. The wedding venue is a hidden gem offering the full dedicated property on the day of the event with plenty of different photo backdrops that captures all New England has to offer! Water views, mahogany interior, ship stain glass window, decks, fire pits, etc. We took our engagement and all of our wedding photos on the property. Tina & John were able to accommodate everything we looking for in our day! We able to drop off our decor days leading up to the wedding which was awesome to not worry about it day of. Tina took my vision to life on the day of our wedding setting up all exactly as I had requested. We did not have a hired day of coordinate outside of Tina who was able to handle it all. The day went right to plan and the Squantum staff were fully prepared and on schedule. The food was amazing - all of our guests raved it went above and beyond your expectation of wedding meal. We had a seated 90 guest reception. The guest count filled the room without feeling overcrowded and left plenty of room for a dance floor! As for outside vendors, we went with Squantum's preferred florist, DJ, and bakery for our vendors and all were great. Do not hesitate on the location - our guests were fully able to access Uber's to and from Providence with no issues!! Book your wedding here ASAP!

Amazing wedding venue!

We are so happy we chose Squantum Association! The food and views were amazing. So many people complimented us on the big day. Justine was so helpful, attentive, and quick to get back to us. We were in great hands the whole time and felt so taken care of. Tina was also awesome to work with. The team truly went above and beyond. We highly recommend!

The most perfect venue

Squantum gave my husband and I the wedding of our dreams. The staff, especially Justine and Tina were remarkable to work with, every question was answered, Justine floated thru the entire night, doing small things that didn’t go unnoticed (giving us a plate of each of our apps set up at the sweetheart table for when we sat down, serving beer at the beginning of cocktail hour to assist with the crowd, fixing my wedding topper when I broke it myself, moving our cigar table from outside to inside as we got a quick downpour, boxing up leftovers to bring back). That is exactly what you want from the venue coordinator. The grounds speak for themselves- beautiful. Coming from a large family, we were voted to have the best wedding food ever. And to be honest, for the greatest day of our lives, the price was so totally reasonable, so many venues nickel and dime you on everything- Squantum was transparent right away, no surprise fees attached and we appreciated that during the planning process. Aka just sign the papers and get married here!

October Wedding

Everyone at Squantum was so helpful throughout the process of planning - when it came to the day of they went above and beyond. From the rehearsal to the morning of, the team made sure we didnt have to stress about any of the little details, they took care of everything with our vendors and set up. They were so helpful and friendly! All of our guests were wowed by the location and the great service!

Magical Day

My husband and I were able to celebrate our wedding day at the Squantum Association. The facilities both indoor and outside were spectacular. Justine our event coordinator was fantastic and very responsive to my messages especially as our day came closer. The staff was very professional and did a beautiful job setting up, cleaning up and ensuring all of our guests had what they needed throughout the afternoon/evening. I cannot say enough good things about this facility, the staff in addition to the quality of the food and beverages provided. I felt that with what money we spent we were able to get a lot for our money, especially not having to find many outside vendors which I feel saved us money in the long run.

Tina, as all the reviews and vendors say, is absolutely amazing! She is super responsive, thoughtful, and willing to work to accommodate our requests. What a joy to work with! Magical from start to finish!

There is nowhere else that my husband and I could have gotten married aside from Squantum. It is such a unique and special place that draws you in from the moment you step onto the grounds. Even my first visit there, an extraordinarily overcast and foggy day could not take away from the magic.

After meeting with Tina and touring the buildings on the property, I knew this was where I wanted to get married. My fiance and I returned to tour together, and it was a wonder and a delight that it ticked all of the boxes of both our sets of criteria. It is the perfect combination of rustic dark woods with a historical background and all the amenities you need in the 21st century.

When you get married at Squantum you are the queen and king of the property for the day. Knowing that you can arrive early enough to get ready on-site was a huge stress relief. We were able to have our own separate getting ready spaces with ample room and amenities. It was also a bonus for us that you are able to do ceremony on-site and seamlessly transition into your cocktail hour and reception.

The areas for photos on property are numerous and gorgeous along the water, out towards the island, or on the grand staircase in the clubhouse.

The food was outstanding and I have had several guests tell me that mine was the best wedding they've been to and that it was such a cool spot.

Squantum is truly a hidden gem and the staff, especially Tina, are beyond amazing and will make your day the best it can be!

I truly wish I had another reason (and the budget) to throw another event there!!

Perfect wedding!

My wife and I were had our wedding ceremony and reception at Squantum in Nov. 2023, and everything was perfect! Everyone of our guests commented how beautiful the venue grounds and buildings were, how delicious the food was and, for ourselves, there wasn't a single thing that we thought, "You know, this could have been a little better..." EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect! Special thanks to Tina who was exceptional in communication and suggestions, and extremely helpful in realizing our vision for our wedding. I've lived in RI all my life, and I never knew about Squantum...thankfully a my best man recommended it, and I and my wife now wholeheartedly recommend Squantum association for anyone thinking about a wedding venue!!! - Jon and Jenny

Our experience with Squantum was beyond amazing from beginning to end. Tina went above and beyond to ensure we had the best day of our lives. A Hidden Gem With The Best Service

We can't say enough about Squantum Association as our wedding venue. From the beautiful views, to the historic buildings, and the great staff, we can't imagine having to plan our wedding without the help of Tina Desrosiers. She was attentive and was able to address any concern (there was not many) and make our day so great.

Our food was phenomenal, our guests couldn't stop talking about how great everything was whether it was location or just the venue in general and how much fun they had. We would recommend this venue to anyone who's looking for a great value and price with great service.

Wonderful venue and the BEST team to work with!

Squantum is the full package for an all inclusive wedding experience! We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception onsite, while guests could explore the grounds and see both the Clubhouse and Bakehouse with the platinum package. The staff at Squantum couldn't be easier to work with! They are so knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. They walked us through each step of the process from booking a date, to selecting the menu, preparing us and our wedding party for the rehearsal, and timeline for payments. No detail went unnoticed! The food was incredible and everyone was a pleasure to work with and make our day extra special. Highly recommend booking the Squantum for your wedding day!

I will remember this day for the rest of my life

I cannot recommend the Squantum Association enough for a wedding. Tina was amazing and clearly very experienced. My favorite thing about the Squantum was that everything (catering + appetizers + alcohol + taxes + fees) were all priced per person, which made it very easy to estimate the cost of the venue. As a dinner club, Squantum provides catering service and the food is amazing. They even have the option for a 3 tier wedding cake through the Taunton bakery. They handled the set up and didn't charge extra for renting tables/chairs/table numbers. After we booked with Squantum all we had to plan for was entertainment, photographers, and the florist. I am so happy I found Squantum for our wedding.

Amazing venue with 5-star experience

Squantum Association was an absolutely perfect location for our wedding! It was important for us to be able to have the ceremony/reception on site, as well as have our two dogs present for the ceremony. Squantum was able to provide all of the above for us. The grounds are stunning; with beautiful historic buildings to hold cocktail hour and the reception. Tina, Jon, and the rest of the Squantum team were exceptional! The food is fantastic- not your typical wedding food! Tina is a wonder woman and knows how to remove all the stress leading up to the event. She helped the day run seamlessly and will make sure you have a drink in hand and are well fed despite how busy the day can be with the photographer. Her attention to detail, positivity, communication and organization skills helped to make the perfect day for us. A HUGE thank you to the entire team at Squantum. We highly recommend this venue. This is a true, Rhode Island wedding venue gem- no regrets and would 100% have another event here!

Amazing, beautiful, & budget friendly!

Amazing, amazing venue! Absolutely beautiful location right on the water and for much lower price than anything else we found around this area! Our guests had the entire grounds to themselves and could be either indoors or outdoors on the patio, gazebo, at the firepit, anywhere! And I didn't have to stress because the actual reception was indoors. Having the bar in a separate room attached to main room was also awesome because people had a place to go and hang out if they wanted a bit quieter space but were still included in the party. Squantum provides so many food options included in their price including a vegetarian and vegan option at no additional cost - did not find that at any other venues! The food was also AMAZING and my guests were raving about it for weeks afterwards. Tina was an amazing coordinator to work with and went out of her way to make sure she knew exactly how I wanted everything set up and even let me come in to try out setting up some decor prior to the wedding. She also organized a tasting earlier than previously scheduled when I told her I wanted to send out my invitations earlier - BEYOND accommodating! She kept everything on track on the actual wedding day without being pushy and let us do things at whatever pace we liked! She even brought us an entire plate of appetizers and champagne while we were taking couple photos during cocktail hour. She went way above and beyond to make sure our day was everything and more we could have hoped for! Cannot recommend this venue enough!!!!!

Incredible staff, food, setting, and value

Truly can’t think of a better venue! Tina, our coordinator, kept us organized and calm throughout the big day. The space is gorgeous and the perfect size for a 100 person wedding. We had hoped for an outdoor ceremony but were relieved the venue had an indoor space as a backup plan for our poor weather. The food was incredible and the all-inclusive packages simplified planning big time.

Incredible value, absolutely perfect!

We were blown away by the value, friendliness, and transparency we found at Squantum! First of all, the photos do not do it justice — you HAVE to go see it!
We actually had booked our wedding at a different venue, but had to scramble and rebook everything in July for our January wedding because the exclusive caterer we had chosen at said venue was sneaky and dishonest with us, not to mention WAY too expensive (basically the same menu we got at Squantum for twice the price… and the food wasn’t as good). Tina and Squantum were a breath of fresh air! Their pricing is so reasonable, without any hidden fees, weird upcharges, etc. and they are obviously trying to get you a good deal (especially in the off season! It was a dream). Tina especially is so down-to-earth and friendly, while still being so incredibly capable and on top of all the details. Multiple wedding guests said they wanted to be her friend. :)
The space is absolutely gorgeous and honestly doesn’t need that much sprucing up, but nonetheless, they let us drop off all of our decorations earlier in the week, which was super convenient and made decorating the morning-of very smooth. Since it was the off-season, we used the Bakehouse, and it was absolutely gorgeous! We had lovely weather for January, but even if we hadn’t, it’s so cozy and picturesque inside. We took most of our portraits in the Big House.
The off-season also meant we got our perfect menu for a really good price. They even added stuffies to the clam chowder station for us! We did heavy passed apps before the meal — Squantum is a little more expensive for those, but it’s because it’s *unlimited* passed apps for the hour, so we never ran out (other places make you pay per item). I think I had eight bacon wrapped shrimp. And the meal was delicious! We loved how much we could personalize it.
Squantum was completely fine with us bringing in a one-woman-show for our desserts (check out Jackie at Epic Sweets!) — they let her drop it all off at 10am, set it all out for us on their serve-ware, and wrapped up the leftovers for us to take home.
Drinks were great. It was altogether perfect and if I were to do it all again, I would book Squantum every time.
Also recommend hiring Kristen and Tom Conte for your photography and DJ needs — with them and Tina, we had the dream team!

Spectacular!

I can't say enough!!! The Squantum Club was the perfect Venue for my son's wedding. Tina was so wonderful to work with. She was engaging, responsive, full of fabulous ideas, and most of all, a very calming presence when I was getting nervous. She coordinated everything perfectly, and made the day just the way we had envisioned it. I would highly recommend The Squantum Club for your next event.

BEST venue in RI!

Look no further for your wedding venue! We couldn’t have had a more perfect day!!! Tina & the team at Squantum were absolutely unbelievable. They were so amazingly easy to work with, so helpful, and so accommodating. There are really no words to express our gratitude and appreciation. We loved our venue and would totally book with them again!

The Squantum Association was our dream venue. The staff was unbelievably accommodating. The buildings and grounds were so nice to have access to, and our guests were all commenting on how beautiful everything was. Everything is so picturesque already that we only had flowers and some candles as decorations.

Squantum Association is Rhode Island's best kept secret!

It has been two weeks since my daughter's wedding at Squantum Association, and people are still calling me to rave about the event! First of all, Squantum is gorgeous and gives you the full Rhode Island experience without the exorbitant prices of other venues in the state. Secondly, the food is DELICIOUS.- not your typical wedding food that you eat because you are hungry! You have access to the venue all day, and evening so picture opportunities are not rushed. Tina is the event guru, and she takes you through this special day with ease. The staff is well trained and available at all times. Our wedding was as effortless as a wedding can be, and we wouldn't have changed a thing. Before you make your choices, please go to Squantum Association!

Perfection

Special Events Coordinator Tina is the best! After at least 100 questions she was still smiling and genuinely interested in making our experience one to treasure. She was wonderfully successful! My daughter’s wedding day was awesome. Beautiful grounds, delicious food, warm and inviting atmosphere. The wait staff were cheerful, polite and sincerely wanted to do their parts to add joy to the day. Our guests loved it all! As did we!!

The best!!

If you are looking for your perfect rustic/beachy wedding venue look no further! Squantum is truly a hidden gem and so picture perfect. The site coordinator, Tina and all the staff are the best! As soon as we toured the grounds and met Tina we knew we wanted to have our wedding here. Our guests were in awe of the location and how beautiful everything was.
Side note, you get to shoot off a cannon during your ceremony!
We highly recommend squantum!

The staff treated us special and our guests. The venue was flexible and helped with the event choices. The staff worked very well with our outside vendors. We had no worries the whole day of the wedding and enjoyed it completely. We looked at 27 venues and this far surpassed any of them.
Only one wedding per day at Squantum really made it special. Meal and bar included in one price was great.

Beautiful venue

Squantum was a beautiful venue inside and outside! Tina who helped coordinate our needs was amazing. The food was delicious and the service was spectacular. I have no bad things to say about our big day.

Don't miss out on RI's hidden gem!

BOOK THIS VENUE! We wanted a Christmas wedding and Squantum did NOT disappoint! Squantum is breathtaking and a hidden gem right outside of Providence, RI. Tina, the venue's wedding coordinator, was amazing from day 1. She was always responsive and helpful with our many questions. This venue, by far, had the most competitive prices with great all-inclusive options. Squantum Association has the most dramatic views and offers warm colors, especially at Christmas time. Everything was lit up for Christmas so we had a minimal need to decorate, they even let us come in a few days before our wedding to look at their Xmas decor so we could decide what could stay for our big day and what we wanted to be put away. The Bakehouse, where the reception was held, is huge and most certainly helped guests feel comfortable and not cramped. The bar in the Bakehouse is incredible and feels like a totally different space than the dining room. Additionally, they lit the giant fireplaces for us to add that beautiful, warmth all throughout the night. They also lit the firepit outside since it was a warmer December night and allowed guests to mingle outdoors. Not to mention, our guests RAVED about the food and the venue overall. Getting married during COVID times are tough and Tina was sure to send us home with those extra meals of people who had to cancel last minute due to the pandemic. There is not one single thing negative that I can say about this venue. They host one wedding at a time so you don't need to worry about sharing the space with anyone. I would choose Squantum over and over again because of its pricing, its location, the staff, and the fact that it is simply stunning!! You will LOVE IT!

Water wedding but close to home

The venue is beautiful!!! We rented out the entire venue. I had cocktail hour in the building and reception in another. Myself and the girls got dressed in the cottage everything was perfect! Tina was a lot of help and even was able to order my favorite drink! If your looking for a wedding on the water but do nothing want to travel to the cape or Newport please check it out!! It’s a hidden gem!!

Just WOW!!

We got married on 8/6/21 and WOW!! What a wonderful wedding. Tina went ABOVE and BEYOND to meeting all my needs and making sure the wedding went smoothly. This venue is truly a hidden gem. It has so much character and the food was excellent! My guests were very impressed! So classy! Our photographer had so many beautiful spots on the grounds to take pictures.

New England Charm - A Hidden Gem

With most of our guests traveling from our of state, we wanted to give them the best New England charm we could while we got married in the little city where we met during college. Squantum delivered! Our guests loved the charm of the manor where we had cocktail hour (Club House) and others commented on how nice it was too have water views from every angle in the Bake House. Rustic, chic, charming. The food was spectacular too! Best wedding food we’ve had, and working with Tina and Jon made the process of planning a wedding (that we postponed from 2020 to 2021) from out of state a breeze. We are so sad our wedding is over, but our family and friends will be talking about our wedding for years! Thanks Squantum!

Dream venue

Tina was our coordinator and helped with everything. Food was amazing. Decor and service was great. Best place for a wedding and getting ready for the day of for bridal party. Love this place.

An incredible wedding experience!

My husband and I just got married last Saturday at Squantum Association and all we can say is 'Wow'!! We had originally planned on getting married in June 2020, and obviously with Covid, our plans shifted (to a year later). Squantum was incredibly professional and accommodating in all the logistics and planning, especially considering it had to have been a very difficult year for them as well.

As we approached this wedding season, Tina, the event coordinator worked very closely with us and was incredible. She answered ALL my questions and was willing to make all the changes I requested. Because of covid, our numbers shifted around a little bit and they were so flexible and understanding.

Now for the actual wedding day: They exceeded all of our expectations!! There were minor things I wanted tweaked the day of the wedding and John and Tina didn't blink an eye and made all them happen. The grounds were very well taken care of (I actually think a lot of great improvements occurred over the past year, which have made it even more beautiful for guests!). We had our cocktail hour in the main house and our guests absolutely loved walking around and exploring the beautiful manor. Our reception was then at the bake house. It was incredible how it transformed into exactly what we had pictured. The food was delicious. I had multiple people during and after the wedding come up to me and rave about it!!

Overall, I highly recommend booking your wedding or event at Squantum Association. From their professionalism, uniqueness and overall quality, they are sure to put on a terrific evening!

Best decision!

Squantum is a hidden gem. Once we decided Squantum was going to be our venue we couldn’t wait to show it off to our family and friends. Our wedding planning was not an easy journey. Originally we were supposed to get married at the end of 2020. We decided to postpone our wedding to March. Our guest list went from 150 to 70 to 30 and finally to 50 guests. Squantum was so understanding and flexible throughout our process. Tina the event coordinator was so responsive and helpful throughout our planning. We have Tina and the team at Squantum thank for making our wedding day the best day ever!

Squantum Association Wedding Venue - Best in RI

If you want a top-of-the-notch wedding experience, Squantum Association is the venue for you! I can’t say enough about how beautiful the Clubhouse and Bakehouse are – the photographs don’t fully do them justice. The grounds are magnificent and being right on the Bay is breathtaking. Absolutely Beautiful Day!

We had our wedding here in July of 2019 and it was as perfect as we could have hoped! All members of the staff, specifically Lauren and John, were super responsive to our questions leading up to the big day and made the planning process as stress free as it could be. We enjoyed terrific weather, dined on delicious food, and danced the night away! The perfect wedding venue- flawless!

Squantum is the place to get married!

From the start we were very impressed by the staff at Squantum. Lauren is an incredible person to work with. She is very calm all the time, even when I was panicking about something. She always responded to my emails right away and made sure to answer all my questions. She was very flexible with us coming to visit and dropping off decorations before the ceremony. My whole family was so happy with her work the day of the wedding and everything leading up to. The staff are experts in events and are all professionals.

We had our wedding at the Squantum Association this past June, and they were incredible.
The venue is really special, right on the water, with beautiful locations for photographs to choose from. Two little beaches, the water, a rock path leading to an island, the gorgeous architecture of the clubhouse, a dock, bridges and tons of greenery and beautiful landscaping to take pictures in front of. There were even a pair of swans hanging out in the water the day of the event.
Once we chose the venue, although things started off a bit rocky (we were a little disappointed when we found out we wouldn’t be able to have fireworks at the event) they went WAY above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of. The actual event could not have been more perfect, and it was in no small part due to the efforts of the staff and the management team at Squantum.
Jon is super friendly, reasonable, easy to work with, and I really felt like he cared about making sure we were happy and wanting to work with us. On the day of the wedding, Lauren was incredibly attentive. Anything and everything we needed, she was there in seconds, making sure we had drinks or food, set up champagne in our room while we were getting ready, and she worked well with our wedding planner to make sure the event went smoothly. I don’t think we were the easiest of clients (I probably sent Lauren 20-30 emails the month before the event) but she was responsive and accommodating every time.
Food was FANTASTIC. Wedding food can be hit or miss sometimes, but so many of our guests came up to us after dinner to comment on how delicious everything was. The chicken was moist, the steak was perfectly cooked, the vegetables were tender without being overcooked, and the level of quality and execution carried throughout apps, dessert bar and late night snacks. We were blown away.
Overall it was perfect and we were thrilled with the venue, staff & team. Could not recommend this place more highly.

I couldn't be more grateful to Squantum Association for all of their services for our wedding. Jon, Joe, and Lauren were absolutely incredible to work and made everything so easy. They were also so friendly! On the day of the wedding, the staff didn't miss a single detail. At one point later during the reception, I even saw the chef come out to speak with all the guests! Such an upstanding move. Furthermore, the views are beautiful and our guests couldn't stop raving about the sites and location. The staff at Squantum, and Squantum itself will always hold a very dear place in my heart.

I spotted Squantum for the first time on a friend’s Facebook who got married there. I knew I had to see this place in person! A week after my husband and I’s engagement, we went to look at Squantum. As soon as I opened the car door and could smell the ocean, I knew it was going to be the place for our wedding. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and Jon,Lauren, and the chefs and staff were unbelievable. Our wedding was 100% perfect because of everything they did for us. The food is outstanding, the views are amazing, the venue is gorgeous and everything was awesome. I can’t say enough positive things about Squantum, if you are looking for an ocean wedding, look no further than here! You will fall in love with it as soon as you get there!

I had my dream wedding at Squantum 4/14/18 (ceremony and reception). We were so lucky to have Lauren Lysak (wedding coordinator) assist us throughout the planning process. She is so personable and professional (not to mention available via email 24/7 for all of those random questions a bride has!) The location is absolutely breathtaking and the execution of all of the activities that took place day of was flawless. I wish I would have counted how many guests reached out to us afterwards about how impressed they were with the food and/or wedding in general... I would highly recommend considering this venue!

Jon and Lauren, the chef and backer were all so wonderful. Every detail we asked for was delivered. They are friendly and very helpful.
The venue was beautiful. Had a civil service at sunset in the sunroom and cocktails , dinner and dancing in the lower building. It was just after Christmas and easy to decorate.
The cocktail area has a beautiful view of the bay as well. Ample parking.
The food was delicious and the waitstaff very helpful.
I highly recommend the Squantum Club!

This had to be one of the best venues I have ever been to the lighting and the views beautiful. Lauren the wedding coordinator was fantastic she made sure we were happy checked to see if we needed anything. Made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Our cake I was obsessed with Tina did an absolute amazing job we shoes her a picture of a cake we wanted and she was able to give us exactly what we wanted it was perfect I was so obsessed with our cake and how it came out. Now I can’t forget about the food from the salad to the cake it was Delicious just the right amouth of dressingbon the salad my husband and I had the baked scrod and wow everyone who was ther said it was delicious best meal they have had at a wedding. The cake was moist and sweet just the way we liked it everything was absolutely perfect

I highly recommend the Squantum Association for your wedding or any other event. Jon and Lauren were amazing to work with and so patient and forthcoming. We have a wonderful wedding and experience. They also include the Bridal suite for your own personal use from early morning till the event is over which is a huge plus.

My husband and I got married here on October 7th this year. We seriously couldn't have imagined a more perfect venue for our day. Squantum is absolutely beautiful, from the stunning water views to the rustic/historical and nautical touches inside each building. Jon Prata, the club manager, went absolutely above and beyond for us, leading up to our wedding and the day of. He was cool, calm, and collected and helped us stay on track and organized. The rest of his team is just as fabulous. They were helpful and professional. Jon also made sure we had food from cocktail hour since we were out taking photos, as well as making sure we had drinks during the reception. The food was also amazing, our family and friends raved about it. Squantum is worth every penny, we seriously could not have had a better day.

We were married here on October 1st. It was a perfect venue for us with a seaside location and a somewhat rustic feel inside the bakehouse. The service was exceptional on the day of the event. The food was delicious. It's not a low budget venue, but I definitely feel like they delivered quality food and quality service that was expected for the price we paid. They were easy to work with and the manager Jon Prata treated my husband and I wonderfully during the event. He frequently got us drinks and asked if we needed anything. He also brought us a platter of raw bar items before dinner because he knew we missed out on the raw bar during our cocktail hour since we were busy with photos and mingling before it was all gone. We were very satisfied with our overall experience and would highly recommend the venue to other couples!

One of the greatest places to have an event!!! I got married August 19th, 2017 and the reception was at The Squantum Association. I am so happy I had my reception there. The event manager is so nice. Anytime I had a question he would email me as soon as he got the message. We got to use the bridal suite to get ready the room is very cute. The grounds are truly breath taking. They have such pretty decks to see all of Providence. The staff are so nice they make sure you have everything before you even need to say anything. The baker made such a beautiful cake. The design was exactly what I wanted. The cake was so delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone. They will make sure your event turns out exactly how you want it. My wedding was perfect and picking a place that is so beautiful really helps. I can not express how wonderful The Squantum Association is.

We had the perfect day at Squantum! It is a unique venue that allows you to have different locations for the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the dinner. The bridal suite was a great place for the bride and bridesmaids to hang out and prepare. The entire staff was flexible, accommodating, and professional. We actually booked with the previous wedding coordinator Corentin. The reviews on this site all raved about him. Well, after many years he retired from Squantum. But, John and Jay did not disappoint! They took over our event and met every request we had and we had lots! From extra dinner courses, to fireworks, to the timing of the day. There was nothing they didn't make happen for us.

Jon Prata and his staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We truly were stress-free knowing that they would follow through on our vision for my daughter's wedding. The setting was unique and special and the food was fabulous. Many of our guests told us that it was the best food that they have ever had at a wedding. We had a chance of passing showers so Jon set up for the ceremony both inside and out. We decided to have it indoors in the sun room of the Club House and it was lovely. We also opted for the cocktail hour at the Clubhouse, where everyone enjoyed both the food and architecture. We could not have asked for anything more. I found that compared to other venues with rental fees, catering costs, etc., Squantum offered a great value. I would highly recommend it for any special occasion.

The best part about working with Squantum is that their wedding packages are all inclusive. It really is important to be working with as little vendors as possible and it was nice to know that the food, drinks, cake, tips/gratuities were all included in our payment. As far as the grounds, they couldn't be any more beautiful or well-kept. The food was amazing, as always. Their service was top-notch. Our guests were blown away. My husband and I were beyond pleased with absolutely everything at Squantum Association at our wedding a few weeks ago. We absolutely fell in love with the venue when we first visited and signed contracts almost immediately. Then in the months leading up to our wedding, I couldn't believe how responsive and helpful everyone on staff was - especially Liane McDonell. Also, they work closely with all of your vendors which is so helpful, especially on the day of!

What I really liked about Squantum is that everything is a packaged deal. So you don't need to worry about coordinating all that much outside of finding a photographer, DJ/band and a florist. Our guests kept telling us how charming the venue was, how beautiful the view was and how personal everything felt. We were also told how good both the cocktail hour appetizers were AND the dinner. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive and the desserts were fabulous - Chef Tina is brilliant.

There was one tiny miscommunication about our preferences during dinner but our day of coordinator, Jon Prata, noticed immediately and had everything fixed within minutes which really showed to us how committed they are to the service they provide. Other than that, absolutely everything was exactly the way I had pictured it and hoped it would all be.

From the first time we saw the Squantum, we knew it was the place for us! We looked at a couple other spots in Providence just so we could say we did, but nothing compared. In the 9 months leading up to the wedding, everyone at Squantum was always so quick to respond to my emails and make sure everything was just the way I envisioned.

On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect from the food to the drinks to the attentiveness of the staff. It was truly the best day of our lives and we couldn't recommend the Squantum Association more.

We got married at the Chapel on Brown's campus and then everyone took busses over to the Squantum. We surprised our guests with the cannon shoot and a champagne toast from my dad before the guests headed inside for cocktail hour and we took some formal pictures. We served the sirloin, cod and veggie ravioli and everything was fabulous.

Just had my wedding reception at Squantum and it was perfect! Everyone at Squantum made things a breeze and I didn't have to worry about anything; they took care of it all! I used the clubhouse for cocktail hour and the boathouse for the reception; food was great, the cake was delicious and everyone is extremely organized, professional and friendly!!!!

Squantum Association is an absolutely amazing and beautiful venue. Corentin, the manager, was very helpful and immediately responded to all my emails. The grounds are gorgeous, perfect for an outside ceremony right by the water. The food was delicious and the cake that Tina, the pastry chef, made was to die for. Many of our guests said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. All in all, I highly recommend Squantum.

Choosing to work with Correntin and the Squantum Association staff was the best decision I made in planning our wedding. Correntin was very attentive and responded rapidly with any question I may have had up to the last minute. The staff are professional, courteous and provided excellent service. Every guest who attended spoke highly of the venue, food and service. The day of the wedding, Correntin made sure everything went as we had planned and was never far away, always checking in to make sure we were having fun. Jorge and I had our wedding at Squantum on August 6, 2016. The venue was breathtaking and the staff was incredible. We were blown away by the organization of the day and how much everyone at Squantum did to make our day extra special. The manager, Corentin, constantly made sure we had everything we needed throughout the day. Tina, the pastry chef, made us the best cake and cupcakes we have ever tasted! Lastly, I can't forget to mention how delicious the food was. 5 stars all around! It was truly the best day of our lives!

Our wedding reception at the Squantum on July 2, 2016 was perfect! Corentin always responded right away to my many emails and was extremely flexible with letting us change the salad on the menu to meet exactly what we wanted. and the sorbet course was a great added extra! My husband and I were taking photos while dinner was being served and they held back our meals so they wouldn't get cold. The minute we returned to or seats, we were served the delicious meals ! Corentin and all of the staff were extremely attentive and provided us with anything we asked for. The staff was all very nice and accommodating as well. Our guests were amazed by the view and had a great time exploring the grounds. The added uplighting is a must! Adds a great ambiance to the dancing. Our cake was made by in house pastry chef Tina and it was to die for !!!!! The white cake with buttercream frosting was out of this world moist and delicious. We can't wait to get back from our honeymoon and dig in! I Can't say enough AmaZing things about the Squantum. Our wedding was perfect! Thank you Corentin, Tina and staff!

Corentin and the staff at the Squantum Association are phenomenal at what they do. We got married 6/24/16 and could not be more thrilled with how smooth it went. Our wedding at Squantum was absolutely wonderful. Our guests, almost all from out of state, were wowed by the setting. Corentin, the venue manager, was incredibly responsive, helpful and flexible. There was pretty much nothing that he said we couldn't do. He promptly answered all of my many emails and questions, and was professional throughout. The servers were extremely professional, the food was good, the bar was a huge hit, and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.

Do it! Correntin was the best! Our wedding was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Our friends keep posting more pictures from the event and every one of our guests was just beyond impressed with the venue. The foot was absolutely out of this world. Our families and friends are STILL raving about it almost a week later. Wait until you have your tasting! The venue is sooo beautiful, one would not expect the food to be so unbelievably good. We did a Guinness chocolate cake with a Bailey's cream topping that was just out of this world. In fact, I am about to go eat another piece of it right now! p.s. fire the cannon. we did, and it was awesome! =D

Having our wedding at Squantum was hands down the best decision we made during the entire wedding planning journey. We were having trouble finding the perfect venue. I wanted it to be conveniently located, the food to be good, and for the staff to take care of everything. I happened across Squantum on WeddingWire, and…Bingo. This venue has a rustic boathouse-looking structure for the reception, with the coolest bar. It’s right on the water and has a vintage, historic mansion where we took pictures before the ceremony. The shuttle was an easy 8-10 minute ride from downtown Providence. The professionalism of Correntin and his staff exceeded expectations. Correntin was extremely responsive and easy to work with throughout the year. He usually responded immediately. He was very flexible with whatever we envisioned. They let us put up any decorations we wanted, provided us with an easel and cake tier when we didn’t have one, and let us drop off several boxes of decorations two days before the wedding.Correntin and his staff were so organized and on the ball that we explained everything in our three huge boxes and we were out of there in 10 minutes. I’m pretty big on food, and I have to say that the food was absolutely fantastic, especially the appetizers! Guests were talking about them weeks later. This venue is so unique and beautiful all on its own, it didn't need many additional decorations/flowers. There is so much unique space around the property…at our wedding, I noticed people on the dance floor, at their tables, at the bar, on the outside patio, or walking around the grounds. And the price. People might think that Squantum is expensive at first glance, but all taxes and fees are included. One of the reviews I read stated that Squantum is like a Newport wedding without the Newport prices. It’s so true. We really had the perfect day, in large part thanks to Correntin and his team. Squantum cannot be beat. Thank you Correntin for making our day so perfect.

Squantum was our dream venue we never knew about! Off of a dirt road with private property signs we weren't quite sure what we were approaching, unannounced, on a cold February day. We were approaching our dream wedding venue, the whole dream package! Corentin and his team from the start before AND after contracts were signed were incredibly helpful and responsive. Squantum has a multiple tiers of packages but what is so nice is you can customize your package however you want. We went with the Grand package, middle of the line and we added a couple items here and there, , we swapped the dessert buffet for a real cake for instance. Unlike most venue they really don't want to nickle and dime you, they want you to have YOUR dream wedding day. Corentin was a short email response away the entire time and he was incredibly fast in his responses. Our best man dropped off boxes of decorations the night BEFORE our rehearsal and Corentin and his team were about 90% done by rehearsal time (granted we were the Friday wedding of the week) and we were expecting to spend the evening after our rehearsal running around! I had emailed him a few weeks earlier to inform him our day of coordinator could no longer make it and he was able to step up and assure me it would be ok and he could help out where needed. Our guests are still informing us of how beautiful the venue is, how good the food was, how perfect the night's flow was and the awesome Surprise cannon shot we set off! I would highly recommend checking out Squantum if you are looking for a historic, waterside venue with amazing food and great staff.

Squantum Association, and more specifically Corentin Corre, could not have done any better with our wedding reception. The cocktail hour was gorgeous, the reception outstanding, and the cannon shoot in between was a breathtaking transition between the two. I could not recommend Corentin and the Squantum Association more highly. Several of our guests said it was the nicest reception they'd seen and one now wants her daughter to be married there!

Corentin was extremely responsive, professional and flexible with our requests leading up to our wedding day. He was also a wonderful facilitator at our rehearsal and the day of. My husband and I didn't have to worry about anything and it all went like clockwork - from the passed appetizers by friendly staff to the beautifully arranged pastries made by their in-house chef Tina. We did not have a day-of wedding coordinator and did not feel like we needed one with Corentin at the helm.

The Squantum Association has a wonderful layout to facilitate the flow of guests, particularly around our size of 150. We had the ceremony outside on their shaded hill facing the Providence River, cocktails on their outdoor deck and windowed bar area, then dinner and dancing in the main hall. The lighting of their new chandelier, plus up-lighting from our DJs and candles made the room feel warm and friendly. We also lucked out with the weather and were able to see a beautiful sun set during dinner.

The flow and feel of the venue alone would have been enough to make us happy with Squantum but on top of that, the food is delicious! My father-in-law who is a master chef when it comes to beef, thought the filet mignon was just perfect. Tina also does a wonderful job with the desserts.

We just had the MOST PERFECT wedding at the Squantum Association. I can't say enough of how wonderful it was to work with the staff their, especially Corentin. We changed up the seating chart at the last minute and they had no problems accommodating us. The venue is absolutely beautiful with no lack of picturesque spots. The food was good, and the cake was amazing! We met with the pastry chef before the event to sample cake and she was so sweet and helpful. Corentin was very laid back and basically let us do whatever. But he was also very organized and helpful during the wedding. Bartenders and servers were great; everything was so lovely! Our guests could not get over how beautiful the place was. Just perfect!

When my wife and I looked at comments for wedding venues, I always felt as if I had to take them with a grain of salt. I didn't think that anyone would write a negative review of their wedding venue because that inherently means there wedding wasn't a perfect day. However, after my own experience I can honestly say all the reviews of Squatum and Corentin Corre are 100% genuine. Squantum was great from our first contact through the days after the wedding. Corentin was always punctual, thorough and informative in his responses to our questions, even when we asked the same questions twice. He was extremely accommodating of our requests and had plenty of advice and counsel to give through the planning process. The venue itself was gorgeous and pristinely manicured for our wedding. We still haven’t stopped receiving compliment on how beautiful the location was. The bakehouse is perfectly placed to hide the industrial park and the views are stunning. You can’t find a more picturesque place to photograph. If you are on the fence, the cannon is a must. There is no better way to announce yourself as a couple then with a cannon volley. The food was excellent; every dish was meticulously plated and perfectly prepared. The selection was almost over whelming, but there was a dish to please everyone. Tina, the pastry chef, was just as accommodating and professional as Mr. Corentin. She helped us put our ideas into tangible concept.
Every single aspect of our wedding that had to deal with Squantum was above reproach. 10/10 would use again.

Squantum is for the couple who wants a unique venue with picturesque scenery and details that you won't find at other venues. It's not just a boxed room in a hotel with decorations, Squantum IS the decoration. You don't have to do anything to spice it up since it's character, history, and charm make it appealing enough - not to mention the Providence River provides an elegant backdrop. Corentin and his staff were just top notch. Corentin replied to each and every one of my "quick questions" and assured me that the day would be perfect, something my groom and I felt confident in just knowing the success he has had in the past. Tina (the on site baker) was equally as responsive and awesome. We didn't have a really any idea of what we wanted so Tina walked us through it and offered her professional opinion while remaining totally flexibility so we felt totally comfortable in our choice. By the way, we still receive compliments on the cake and, in a time where it feels like we are going to weddings every other weekend, the fact that multiple guests said "it's the best wedding cake we've ever had" (including recently married couples) is a strong compliment. The day of our wedding the on site staff from the ushers to bartenders to waitstaff were professional and detailed. Not once during the night did I see a guest was neglected or that an empty plate or glass lingered too long. Even Corentin was on site making sure everyone was taken care of and he himself ordered some apps and cocktails for the bridal party while we were taking photos, another example of above and beyond service that truly made us feel like the day was ours.

Our wedding hasn't happened yet but so far we have had an exceptional experience. The manager Correntin is wonderful. He responds immediately to any call or email in a professional and pleasant manner. They have a beautiful bridal tasting with music and dancing, also vendors are available to speak with at the event. Everything about this venue was exceptional, from the views, to the food, to the service. The deck of the Squantum Association over looks the water in East Providence while the bar is covered in windows facing south west allowing for a beautiful view of the sunset. For our wedding we picked an October evening to capture the fall foliage and its amazing colors. We were married on the grounds as well, outside, with the sun slowly setting behind us. Corentin, the general manager, was more than accommodating to any request we had and quick to respond to all questions. This was a destination wedding for all parties and they made it extremely easy to plan a wedding and pointed me in the right direction if there was something I was confused about. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who would listen.

We had our Rehearsal Dinner here in the Club House building. It was a beautiful setting and Ariadne is a awesome Event Coordinator! She was very attentive and kept us informed throughout the night. We had a lot of fun lighting the cannon off to start the weekend events. Everyone had a lovely time!

Everything was perfect for our wedding at Squantum. Corentin was so responsive in emails and made sure the whole day went smoothly. He made the execution of the day's events go without a hitch.The package we purchased for our wedding made everything so simple to pull off, and we were very happy we had to plan so little. Everyone was raving about how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. I am so happy my husband and I decided to use Squantum, not only is it so beautiful but the service was AMAZING! I had NO worries all day because I was so taken care of. All of our guests raved about the venue and how beautiful it was, they also said it was some of the best food they had in Rhode Island. Corentin was very professional and made the day of a breeze. Joao was so hands on with details and how Brendan and I were treated, we never had worry about not getting enough food or drinks. Service was impeccable and the bartenders Andrea and Barney rocked! A stunning, historic campus with the dining area cantilevered over the bay. Guests who initially were "bummed" to "sit in the back" later said, "We got the best seat in the house!" (over the water).
Corentin’s attentiveness in planning was impeccable. Servers were engaging yet unobtrusive. Guests raved about the food and Tina’s wedding cake was the best cake I’ve ever had. Not the best ‘wedding’ cake, THE BEST CAKE. Made planning easier: no separate catering, bakers. Even our photos were taken on-site: by the rocky seaside and in a historic mansion.

Everything about our wedding was perfect. The venue is simply breathtaking we had a beautiful ceremony under the tree overlooking the bay. The service and food was amazing our guests had the options of rib eye or chicken... both got rave reviews from our guests. Correntin and his staff went above and beyond.. Correntin would always reply promptly to my emails and was so easy to work with, he never said no to our requests. The prices are very reasonable and you have the option to make upgrade as you see fit. We upgraded our wedding cake and were very pleased our cake was just what we dreamed of. We had our wedding on 8/30. I highly recommend the venue. Everything was perfect, could not have asked for a better experience.

Amazing venue! Beautiful location and wonderful food. Corentin fulfilled our every wish with no problem prior to the wedding. The day of the wedding, he was everywhere, smoothing over details even we did not recognize had bumps in them. He made our daughter's wedding day stress free. We highly recommend this venue on all levels.

As soon as I stepped foot on the Squantum Association grounds I knew I wanted to have my wedding there. After going to countless weddings at country clubs, refurbished barns, and hotel function halls, I had finally found a location that I knew would be unique, memorable, and have character.

Once I booked the venue and began working with Corentin and his team I knew I had made the right decision. Corentin was incredibly prompt at answering all of my questions (and there were a lot!) throughout the entire planning process and he was so accommodating with all of my requests. Furthermore, I TRULY appreciated how transparent the Squantum Association's pricing was. I refused to be a bride who went way over budget, and I was able to stick to mine entirely because of how transparent the Squantum Association was from the very beginning.

On my wedding day, the Squantum Association staff was fantastic, the food was incredible, and all of my guests had an amazing time. Everyone raved about the venue's ambiance, food, drinks, and service. Thank you so much to Corentin, Ariadne, and everyone at Squantum for helping make my wedding the best day of my life!

Only complaint is that some of my guest felt the rib eye was extremely fatty, after making a comment about it - they were not offered a second piece. Otherwise, the venue was amazing and those that helped make the day perfect were commended.

This was my PERFECT venue! It was rustic yet very high quality. Beautiful surroundings and the staff were WONDERFUL!

Squantum is a true hidden gem! My fiance' and I looked at a full jammed packed day of venues in Rhode Island and Southern MA for our wedding venue and Squantum was our last stop of the day. I had never heard of Squantum Association and to be quite honest I just had a feeling that this probably wasn't going to be our spot. As soon as we pulled down the long driveway and I laid my eyes on the gorgeous grounds and views, I realized my mind was quickly changing. This place is GORGEOUS. The old time charm of the buildings and the amazing view over Narragansett Bay were just a few of the things Squantum has to offer. After being shown around and brought out on a 2nd floor balcony of the Clubhouse where I could see the Providence skyline in the distance, I just knew this was THE place. It was just so US- we live in Providence and I was so happy to find a beautiful venue right in our neck of the woods. Corentin runs the show there and honestly I can't say enough about him. He was so responsive, friendly and kept me at ease through the entire wedding planning process. I would send an email and without a doubt it was answered thoroughly by the end of the day. I knew our big day was going to run smoothly from start to finish because this guy is a pro! I only had to say things once and it would just be done. His team had the Bakehouse set up PERFECTLY for my reception and I had a lot of stuff they had to put out. I did not use a florist but they handled everything without a flaw. Also- the food. The food is AMAZING especially the desserts. Tina, the pastry chef is fun, responsive, and is capable of any cake you could ever dream of- I am still getting feedback on how great the desserts and cake were from our wedding. Oh and I am forgetting one thing- the cannon shoot. The first thing we did as a married couple was shoot off the cannon they have on the grounds, how awesome is that!? It was so fun and something our guests will be talking about for awhile.

The Squantum Association was the perfect location for our water-front wedding reception! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and right out of the pages of a book. If you're looking for an alternative from the usual ballroom decor, Squantum's dark wood paneling, huge fire places and stained glass will give you just that.

Working with Corentin was an absolute pleasure! He responded to all of my inquiries in a timely manner and was excellent with email - a huge help considering I planned our wedding from 3,000 miles away. The day of the event my guests remarked not only on how incredible the food was (and plentiful! There was more than enough) but also how friendly and attentive the staff was - from the bar to servers - everyone was energetic, polite and attentive.

5 glowing stars for the Squantum Association! I just wish I could do it all again!

Our wedding at the Squantum was the most beautiful day of our lives. Once I knew we were getting married here, my rides by Squantum on the bike path became extra special (we live close by). Squantum is a hidden gem, close to Providence and on the water; my guests are still raving about the views, the fun, and the food! Corentin is so accomodating and wonderful to work with; love him! He made us feel comfortable, and everything went so smoothly. It is nice that you have everything there as far as ceremony, tables, linens, food, cake, and package options. You don't have to hire separate vendors for all that. I highly recommend Squantum for the perfect wedding. I wish we could go do it all over again!

The Squantum Association and Corentin produced a wedding that was just perfect for us. The food was amazing, the service impeccable, no one ever waited for a drink or a wine refill. Corentin coordinated with my vendors so that I didn't have to, everything was set up and on time and ready to go. He was very responsive to every question and the event flowed perfectly.
