Springdale Floral is run by Kory and you will not be disappointed! From the beginning, she listened carefully and intently on my vision, even though I didn't know a thing about flowers. She never interrupted and came back to me with ideas/images that were better than I envisioned!
She was budget conscious, saavy, organized and able to work with me, my mother and mother-in-law.
Kory has impeccable taste and is ahead of the flower trends. She has worked with some great wedding planners and venues and you will love her sweet and calming nature!

Working with Kory and Springvale Floral was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very first consultation, they listened carefully to our ideas and offered thoughtful suggestions that helped bring our vision to life—even better than we imagined.
The bouquets, centerpieces, ceremony arrangements, and every floral detail were absolutely stunning. Each piece was beautifully crafted, fresh, and perfectly matched our daughter’s style and color palette. So many guests commented on how gorgeous the flowers were!
Beyond the incredible design work, Kory was a joy to work with—responsive, professional, creative, and calm throughout the entire process. On the wedding day, everything was delivered and set up flawlessly and on time, which made everything feel so effortless.

Kory and her team at Springvale are amazing and so incredibly talented! They provided all of the floral arrangements for our wedding this past weekend (along with greenery hanging from the tent's ceiling and tablescapes), and to say everything looked beautiful would be an understatement. The attention-to-detail was incredible and she brought my vision of having a whimsical, garden-party type vibe to life. It was perfect and we received compliments on the flowers all night!
Working with Kory was such a pleasure, and I couldn't be happier with the experience :) -

When we first started dreaming up our wedding, we knew that investing in a good florist would make the world of a difference. We had the privilege to work with Springvale at our destination wedding and highly recommend booking Kory and her team as soon as you can. Everything we dreamed up, Kory brought to life, and not only did she bring it to life, but it was even better than we could've ever imagined. Everyone commented on how the flowers were the most beautiful they'd ever seen (including our venue!) and the photos speak for themselves. Couldn’t Imagine Anything Better
There are not words to fully say how happy I was with Springvale Floral and Kory Garvis. Before coming to Kory, I had a terrible experience interviewing a florist who was so pessimistic, unwilling to please, and frankly rude to me and my family. Kory is the exact opposite of these things. Anything I came up with or wanted to incorporate, Kory found a way. She was so excited to work with us and her creativity is amazing. She and her team simply could not have done a better job making our wedding beautiful! -

I truly cannot say enough good things about Kory—as a bride who couldn’t tell you what she wanted but sure as hell knew what she didn’t want, Kory was a god sent—her creativity & talent is only exceeded by her patience & kindness. Simply put, Kory “gets it.” She was able to decipher my scattered thoughts and half-baked ideas, to help us refine our floral wedding vision to a tee. Kory’s artistry & passion oozes from every ounce of her being—she flawlessly executed the whimsical yet modern garden party aesthetic of my dreams. Her attention to detail is off the charts and I can’t thank her enough for the integral part she played in bringing our day to life.
From the jump, Kory’s warmth, calming curiosity & nurturing aurora immediately put us at ease. I felt completely understood, despite the lack of verbal direction I was providing her—Kory fully invests herself into each and every couple which was evident by the heart and soul she poured into bringing our wedding to life. It’s truly rare to find someone who is such an artistic master of their craft and yet such a caring professional at same time; the perfect marriage of left & right brain. Kory genuinely has her clients best interests at heart which was evident in the way she handled every conversation & held our hand throughout the design process. She made honest and helpful recommendations along the way to help us get the most mileage out of our budget & design. Put your trust in Kory and she will deliver in spades! Kory and her team at Springvale truly created magic out of a blank slate. I don't consider myself a creative or artistic person, and really leaned on my wedding team, especially Kory, to guide me in the right direction. Despite countless phone calls and e-mails (she was always very responsive!), I was still shocked when I walked into my own wedding. I felt like I was in a secret garden or a Taylor Swift music video. I got married in the winter and the Springvale team created the cozy, romantic, candlelit garden of my dreams. I was also really nervous about budget for flowers, because we know it can get high! Kory worked within my budget and I never felt I was being coerced into spending more. She respected my decisions about cutting things and adding others, and again, worked magic with very little direction and a really reasonable budget. She is also really knowledgeable about the whole wedding industry and gave me lots of advice that wasn't even floral related! I cannot recommend them enough - my wedding would not have been what it was with any other florist. -

From the moment we first chatted, Kory immediately got me, my husband, our wedding vision, and exactly how to bring it all to life. She not only incorporated the conventional beautiful flowers, but also worked with us to incorporate the meaningful and personal touches like my bouquet which incorporated the flowers from my mother's and mother in law's bouquets. -

Kory is so talented and passionate about what she does! I wanted something non-traditional for our wedding florals and hadn’t seen much for examples of it, but after seeing Kory’s other installations knew she could pull it off. The installation and arrangement she made for us quite literally took my breathe away when I saw it. She executed our vision perfectly even when we had a hard time describing it! She is also the sweetest and easy and fun to work with. I planned most of my wedding while living overseas and even though we never really got to meet in person Kory made planning from far away so much less stressful. We kept our decor minimal and the florals really made the whole event come together. Highly highly recommend and wish I was having another wedding to see more of her beautiful work! -

I found Springvale on instagram after seeing a gorgeous arrangement, and was so happy with them through every step of the process. Kory and her team helped us create our dream floral arrangements, and it was exactly what i had envisioned, but even better. Would not have changed a thing about our florals, we were so happy with them. Their work is so unique and beautiful, really stands out to any other florist in the area that I had seen. Kory worked with us and helped us maximize our florals all while staying within our budget. On top of the great final product, Kory and her team were such a pleasure to work with every step of the way- wish we had more occasions to hire Springvale!! -

Gorgeous Flowers!
We used Kory with Springvale Floral as our daughter’s wedding florist in September of 2021. Kory was a delight to work with. She listened patiently to our daughter’s ideas and totally understood what she was envisioning. Kory was easy to communicate with and handled our last-minute updates with ease. The flowers for both the ceremony and the reception were absolutely gorgeous. We would highly recommend using Springvale Floral for your event. You will not be disappointed! -

What can I say - I was blown away by Springvale's work starting with the mock-up which carried through to the wedding weekend itself. From the English countryside vibes at the welcome party, to the romantically elegant florals for the wedding, and the Slim Aarons inspired brunch botanicals, Springvale curated a memorable ambiance that captured my inspiration and set the tone for the whole weekend. I cannot say how much it was a pleasure to work with Springvale and have my vision come to life! -

The best part of my wedding!!! Absolutely GORG!!
Kory's flowers were truly one of the most talked about aspects of my wedding! When I saw the bouquets, hanging floral installation, and arbor she had designed, I nearly cried. It was exactly what I wanted and yet did not know how to put it into words during the planning process. Kory worked with me and made multiple inspiration boards to help me visualize what I like and do not like. The final product was absolutely gorgeous!! Kory also went above and beyond working with my planner to design a placement card display that was so unique to my wedding vision. She truly is an artist!! I could not be more grateful for all Kory did for my big day! Hands down, I would highly recommend her and Springvale Floral!! -

Kory and her team were really amazing. I don't know much about florals in general and just gave her a vague idea of what I wanted- romantic, whimsical, wild- and she absolutely delivered. I had the most amazing floral circle arch, and I wish I could've taken it home with me! I also planned my wedding before and multiple times during COVID-19, and Kory was amazingly accommodating each time- no hesitations, no extra/hidden fees. I would highly recommend her and Springvale Floral! -

Personable, flexible, generous
I didn’t end up finding and choosing Springvale Floral until close to the end of planning our COVID wedding. I’ve spoken to many great wedding vendors, but Kory uniquely stood out to me as above and beyond generous and personable - the type of person you want around while planning a wedding.
Despite my scattered thoughts and late-to-the-game deposit, Kory was nothing but thoughtful, helpful and kind. Her prices are incredible value for what you get, and I was very impressed with how she offered to drop off florals at many different locations and remained flexible even on our wedding day.
All the flowers were stunning. She was able to create something perfect, even though I felt like I didn’t have a good idea of what I wanted. Everything was appropriately sized, priced, and designed with elegance.
I’d highly recommend Springvale Floral and Kory! -

I contacted Kory with only a few weeks notice ahead of our DC micro-wedding after our big party was rescheduled due to COVID. Kory responded back so quickly with specific questions to better understand my vision. From our first interaction, she really strove to visualize what I hoped for the day and was clear about how she would bring it to life. She even wanted to see my dress to help her better visualize how my bouquet would match it. She arrived on the day of the wedding at the perfect time when I was sitting down, able to take in the GORGEOUS bouquet she made for me. Her warm personality was such a joy to work with. My centerpiece was hands down my favorite floral piece I've ever seen and I carried it along on our honeymoon to brighten up our hotel room. Everyone commented on how gorgeous the florals were and Kory well exceeded mine and Will's expectations. Will (the groom) even made a comment after talking to Kory "wow, she really knows a LOT about flowers." THANK YOU Kory for your hard work and flexibility in creating our vision on such short notice. You were an incredible partner to work with from start to finish. -

Kory is literally one of the most joyful and radiant people I've ever met!! She went so above and beyond to make our day special -- she worked behind-the-scenes with our photographer and a few of their other vendor-friends to organize a huge surprise for my husband and I. We had to cancel our original wedding due to COVID and had decided to have a small ceremony and family dinner here in DC, and when we got to the row house where we were having our dinner, Kory and the other vendors had decorated the entire front of the house with the most beautiful floral arrangement I have ever seen! She went out of her way to give us such a sweet gift. I had SO many compliments on my bridal bouquet and of course the huge floral installation. I could never recommend her enough!!!! -

I loved working with Kory and would recommend her to anyone and everyone! She ran with my vision and worked seamlessly with my wedding planner and put together absolutely stunning bouquets and tablescapes. I'm not super well-versed in flowers and wanted a florist who I could trust completely and Kory was absolutely that--I think we all gasped when we first walked into the reception space and saw all the flowers and candles! Kory Garvis, of Springvale Floral, is a real artist. Not only that, but she is a sweetheart. I gave her some pinterest ideas, and she and my wedding planner went to TOWN with my directive of "Like rainforest cafe, but classy" and "enchanted fairytale forest, without being too literal. And moss. Lots of moss."
Above and beyond. She set everything up personally, she is personable, funny, and is so so awesome. Definitely going to continue to hang out, even though the wedding is over. But hey, let's look at pictures, because who cares what I have to say? -

Kory was the absolute best florist I could have asked for. From the first conversation we had on the phone I knew I didn’t need to look any further for the perfect florist. She was so personable and easy to talk to. My vision came to life 100% on the wedding day. She definitely blew me away when I had a few moments to view the reception before the rest of our guests left cocktail hour. It was magical and elegant, just the way that I had pictured it all along.
Kory is the type of vendor that makes you sad that your wedding is over because you thoroughly enjoy talking and meeting with her. She worked with us and was flexible in many ways when things got changed up with the seating, floor plan, etc. My husband was excited to meet her on the wedding day because he knew how much she meant to me throughout the process. We would recommend Kory and Springvale Floral for any wedding or event. I can’t wait for the next occasion where I will need flowers because I will be contacting Kory for sure! We can’t thank her enough! -

Exactly what I wanted!
I can't recommend Springvale Floral enough! Kory made things so easy that florals were the least stressful part of my wedding by far. I really felt that she went above and beyond to make things as seamless as possible. I'll never forget the feeling when I first saw my bouquet and thought "this was exactly what I wanted". I loved it so much! Kory was also super flexible in helping me figure out how to repurpose arrangements to use at the ceremony and reception. Exactly What I Wanted
I loved working with Kory for my wedding flowers. After giving her a few details about my wedding (color palette, a picture of my dress), I felt like I could trust Kory to create something beautiful. Kory was simply amazing! I for quite a while thought I would try to make my own centerpieces (bad idea) and panicked when I thought I'd be too late to find a talented florist 5 months before my wedding. Hiring Kory was one of the best decisions I made all along!
Not only is she incredibly gifted in designing and bringing to life beautiful centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres, she is a joy to work with. She was always prompt, courteous, and willing to offer suggestions when needed. Literally all I had to do was explain my vision to her over the phone, and she was able to draft a proposal that made everything I had envisioned in my mind become a reality.
She is extremely detail-oriented and made sure nothing was overlooked. Also - one thing I found particularly appealing about Kory's business is that she grows her own flowers and conducts her business with sustainability in mind! Seriously, you will not regret it! -

We met Kory through a family friend after already reaching out to several florists. From day one, the process of deciding final arrangements and greenery details was by far the simplest, effortless process of all vendors. I sent Kory my Pinterest Board and she came back with a proposal that matched our vision to perfection at a price that wasn't pure ransom. I know D.C. is expensive, but she did a 20 foot hanging installation over our head table for half of what other vendors quoted me and it was stunning. It wasn't just the big arrangements though, her attention to detail was remarkable from the cocktail table greenery and votive arrangements to the weaving of greenery through the railings of our cocktail area. Absolutely gorgeous. All in all, our breaths were taken away when we saw the final product. We will be using Kory for future family events and recommend her to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed and she's a gem to work with. -

Fabulous wedding installation!!
Kory Garvis is extremely talented and pleasant to work with. In addition to the centerpieces, which were STUNNING, she created this fabulous one-of-a-kind installation that perfectly framed some antique windows we had assembled to serve as a photo backdrop. It was so much better than I could have imagined and it made for beautiful photos. She also created a custom headpiece for me that I wish i could have kept to wear again! Highly recommend!! -

Beautiful Wedding Flowers
I contacted Kory about doing the flowers for my daughters wedding. She was very detailed and thought about things that I didn’t .
The flowers were fresh and absolutely beautiful.
