Our wonderful wedding

We had such an amazing wedding and I can't thank Spring Mill Manor enough!! It was everything I was looking for in a venue-the double staircase when you walk in, the gold chandeliers, the beautiful fountain and gazebo out back! Spring Mill was going through some changes in employees during our booking so we worked with Donna, Wendi, and Ross. Donna really gave us the flexibility to have first hand dibs of how we would like inside of the venue decorated, Wendi was super helpful and pleasant and worked with us to create the perfect wedding menu. Ross was there to help us arrange the room for how the tables would be set up and where the band would play. We had a bridal suite and everything was set up for our day. EVERYONE LOVED THE FOOD!!!! The music and lights were perfect and the price was just what we were looking for! In between the city prices in Philadelphia and the quality we were looking for. At the end of the night we worked with Paul to make sure the night went as planned. Great job Spring Mill would highly recommend!!

Outstanding

My wife and I got married at Spring Mill Manor on June 22, 2019! We worked with Ms. Wendy and she was nothing short of AMAZING! The venue was very clean, beautiful and modern! We rented the Bridal Apartment and we were served breakfast, lunch and a snack before the ceremony! There was so much food we had the entire bridal party come and we had a wedding party of 30 people! Ladies if your looking for space their bridal suites and apartment have everything you need! They have mirrors and loads of space! The food was amazing and the hospitality was spectacular! When it comes to pricing, service and appeal you will not find anything better! The food was fantastic and they have a wonderful selection! The prices are very good and they will do whatever they can to get you exactly what you want! Lastly, Ms. Wendy and her team made us feel like family, we were always greeted with a hug and great conversation! In short, we told the team what we wanted and they took care of the rest, they even brought things to our attention that we overlooked! Our wedding is still being talked about! Spring Manor is a beautiful place but the customer service and level of care and attention to detail is honestly the best we have received! Our wedding day was amazing but we will never forget Ms. Wendy and all the fantastic people that work there! They were so good we didn't have to worry about anything!! They are a great establishment ran by great people! We will always always remember Ms. Wendy and her team at Spring Mill Manor!! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Spring Mill Manor for your wedding and reception! You cannot go wrong with Spring Mill Manor! We love Ms. Wendy!!

My Daughter just had her wedding here this past weekend 10/6/18. This place was amazing took very good care of our guest. The wedding was flawless and everything went off with out a hitch. The staff was great and catered to our every need.(especially Frankie) I highly recommend this venue for any wedding or party!!

We cannot say enough great things about Richard and his team (especially Frank) at Spring Mill. Thanks to them my day was absolutely perfect!!! Nothing went wrong and I was stress free the entire night! We are beyond lucky to have picked this venue to get married at! I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an amazing, beautiful venue with the team to back it up!!!

On 9/22-18 we had our daughter’s wedding at Spring Mill Manor and we continue to receive compliments! Donna Andreoli and her staff went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations! The food was delicious, service extremely attentive and the venue was lovely. They worked within our budget and we received exceptional service. We highly recommend the Spring Mill Manor. You won’t be disappointed.

Spring Mill Manor is a 6 star operation! The staff (Joan, Pete, Chef Mark, and the entire staff) are first class. The food is amazing. Chef Mark is the best. We had a raw bar with our cocktail time including 2 stations and about a dozen butler-ed hors d'oeuvres...then a magnificent dinner: filet, crab cakes, salmon - you name it! The venue is perfect: beautiful outside patio with pond, water fountain, gazebo, bridge, etc; large, modern banquet room. Bartenders and drinks are top notch. But, the key to Spring Mill is the people! They REFUSE to provide anything but the best. Thank you Joan and team!

We had our wedding at Spring Mill Country Club on 4/22. It was absolutely perfect. We have friends and family that are members at the club and we decided on a country club wedding there was no other choice. Ryan is the absolute best. I cannot say enough good things about him. He dealt with all my annoying emails and questions. He is very easy to talk to and gives you suggestions and recommendations throughout the process. The entire day came together perfectly. It ended up raining but the staff was able to quick change and get everything moved inside. Guests had no idea that was the back up plan! Thank You so much!

Spring Mill Manor was perfect for our December Christmas wedding. They really go above and beyond with the decorating. The interior decor was amazing and really put everyone at the wedding in the spirit for a great time! The staff was super accommodating and easy to work with. The food was incredible. Chef Mark created some super unique dishes that all of my guests were raving about! I highly recommend booking your wedding at Spring Mill!!

This place was amazing and beautiful!!! Ray, the banquet manager, helped us with every step of the process making planning our wedding a breeze!!! He was more than just accommodating, he worked with us to figure out the perfect menu for our guests and helped us make those special details happen. I couldn't be happier with the level of service that was received by Ray, the servers at the venue and even our matre'd. I am still getting our wedding guests tell me how magical the venue looked and how spectacular the food was. Spring Mill Manor surpassed all of our expectations, I highly recommend them!!!!

My fiancé and I were married on November 19, 2016, and our reception was held at Spring Mill Manor. On behalf of my fiancé and myself we would highly recommend Spring Mill Manor and Ryan in particular. From the moment we first met with them, to our wedding day itself, Spring Mill and Ryan in particular were extremely helpful and accommodating. Ray Favata was our banquet manager for our reception at Spring Mill Country Club, and we couldn't have had anyone better.
Ray was a huge help from the beginning. He got us the best deal on the venue that he possibly could, and from the time we booked the venue, we left there feeling comfortable with our decision. He was so great with us the entire way. I emailed him a hundred times asking him silly questions that he quickly answered and reassured me that they were NOT stupid questions! When we had our food tasting, it was cinco de mayo and he treated my family to shots of tequila! Ray had an awesome sense of humor through all of it, and went over details with us thoroughly.
The day of the wedding, Ray and his crew put all the center pieces together for us, and had all our pictures and everything else set up beautifully. The cocktail hour was outside on the beautiful patio. While the wedding party was taking pictures, Ray came out to the course and brought us a tray of appetizers. He also made suggestions for picture locations. The reception room looked beautiful, the food was delicious (especially the waffles and ice cream) and the crew had everything boxed up and ready for us at the end of the night. We also had a cheesesteak and roast pork station at the end of the night that everyone loved.
We appreciate everything he did to make our wedding day extra special. Ray was so laid back with everything, it was so helpful. He made all the planning stress-free!

Spring Mill did an AMAZING job with my wedding!!! We worked with Ray who was a delight! He was so laid back and really knows his stuff. Every time I left there I always felt much more at ease knowing he and his team had everything under control.
The food was THE BEST--we got so many compliments from our guests. And the grounds and room are all so beautiful.
You really should go with the Spring MIll for your next event! From begining to finish everything was perfect and I don't have one single complaint!

Our daughter’s wedding at Spring Mill Country Club on May 7, 2016 was absolutely perfect! Ray Favata was the coordinator and from the very first meeting we knew he was going to make the wedding spectacular and he delivered on every promise. No request we had was too much trouble (including a change of date!) and the suggestions that Ray made regarding the ceremony and reception were spot on, including moving the cheesesteak station to the end of the reception ~ the guests were blown away with this surprise. We looked at other venues and by far Spring Mill gave the most services for the cost, especially 3 stations that usually are an add-on at other venues and the opportunity to offer guests 4 meal selections. The weather the day before the wedding was very rainy and we were thrilled that the grass was completely dry so the ceremony could be held outside. The food at the cocktail hour and reception was excellent ~ many compliments from the guests. The bar staff ensured that no one was in line long at all and the bar stayed open for the whole reception, including dinner, and never ran out of anything. The room was beautiful and very comfortable…temperature never got too hot, even with the dance floor packed all night. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, from the time we arrived for the first look pictures until we were leaving at the end of the night. We cannot say enough good things about Spring Mill!

Spring Mill Manor was absolutely perfect! Ryan was so easy to work with. He was laid back and always had a plan! He knew just what we wanted and made everything perfect. Every guest at our wedding was raving about the food! The food at cocktail hour was delicious as was the food at the reception. The Spring Mill team worked hard when it unexpectedly started to rain at the start of cocktail and moved everything indoors. Everything was so beautiful. Our maitre d was amazing. He grabbed anything we needed quickly and was my "go-to-guy" all evening! A day or so after the wedding they had everything we left behind perfectly labeled and placed on a cart for us to take home. I was so impressed again and again with their level of professionalism. Thank you so much Ryan and the entire Spring Mill team!

Recently had my wedding at Spring Mill Manor and could not be happier! The manor is gorgeous inside and out. I worked with Joan Ellison, Colleen and Peter was our Maître D. All of the staff at the manor are friendly and professional. The bridal suite has multiple rooms for the bridal party to get dressed. Peter was attentive to my husband and I, always making sure we were not in need of anything. The food was excellent. Our vendors had a great time working with Spring Mill Manor as well. Spring Mill Manor is fabulous! We wouldn't have changed a thing!

I booked my Oct. 2017 wedding with Spring Mill Manor and I could not be happier. I put hours and hours of research into finding a venue and I had visited over 20 venues. Spring Mill Manor was the second one I saw. I knew I wanted to get married there right away. No other venue could compare to what Spring Mill had to offer. Between the beautiful staircase, the amazing grounds, and the friendly staff I was impressed. I almost cried when I saw where they do the ceremony and first looks. I worked with Joan and she made everything flow easily and answered all of my questions although I had originally booked with someone who no longer works there. The food was great and they made sure to bring drinks and food to the bridal suite. My husband loved that he got his own suite as well. No better place than this!

Spring Mill Country Club was AMAZING. We had the best wedding ever and the venue and more specifically the food really helped make that happen! They were so accommodating, so friendly, and very personable. We worked with Ray while planning our wedding and he was wonderful. He helped gently point us in the right direction whenever we went a little crazy, he remained the steady hand through the process, and was always quick to get back to me. We had the best wedding ever and the efforts of the entire SMCC staff certainly helped make it that way. We would definitely use them again.

We worked with Ryan and he was more than accommodating from beginning to end. Ryan met with us on his days off and worked with us more than any other venue was going to. We had guests with food allergies and they were able to accommodate meals for those guests without a problem. The food in general was really good. The scenery for Spring Mill (indoors and outdoors) allowed for great pictures. The price and what Spring Mill offers is a great value. The staff was friendly and professional. They took care of us the whole night making sure we had food and drinks. You will definitely be satisfied with the venue, Ryan and the staff. Spring Mill was our first choice and we were completely happy that we chose Spring Mill.

I used Spring Mill Country Club for both my ceremony and reception and I am so glad I did. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Ray was fabulous to work with and made the wedding planning process so much easier. I planned my wedding in less than five months from the other side of the country but Ray was able to work with me and make everything absolutely perfect. The grounds are stunning and provided a great place for our bridal photos. Our ceremony was at the gazebo and we had so many compliments on how beautiful everything was. The food at the reception was delicious and our guests raved about it. I highly recommend the bruscheta bar and the cheesesteak station. We had the cheesesteaks set up at the end of the night or our guests to take home in to-go containers- it was a hit! Our maître d' Robyn was also amazing the night of. She made sure everything went smoothly and was such a help to us. We have nothing but good things to say about this venue. The packages are great and included so much and the service was exceptional. We are so glad we booked with Spring Mill!

My husband and I are so glad we chose spring mill country club for our wedding. Ray and the staff were so flexible and easy to work with. The prices were reasonable and the packages included significantly more food and options than some other local venues. We did not have to worry about a thing the entire day as ray and the staff took care of every detail every step of the way. Simply fabulous! My daughter's recent wedding at Spring Mill Manor was amazing on every level. The staff at Spring Mill, especially banquet manager, Ryan, and Maitre D', Robin, was extremely responsive, professional and easy to work with.

Absolutely every request from us was met with respect and a "Sure, we can do that," response. The venue is beautiful, the main banquet room spacious and lovely and the food was excellent. The bridal suite upstairs at the venue--amazing, and a perfect touch for the bridal party to grab a little down time through the evening.

A delight on every level and highly recommended. Thank you, Ryan and Robin, for everything; it was wonderful!

Our daughter and son-in-law had their wedding reception at Spring Mill Manor on August 9, 2014. We worked with Joan Ellison and we can't say enough about how wonderful she was to work with. She catered to my daughter's every wish and truly made it the special day she dreamed of. The venue was beautiful, the outside patio amazing with flowers and tables, food delicious and staff courteous and professional. Guests have told us it was the best wedding they ever been to. Words can't even describe how awesome the staff at SMM was. Joan Ellison was our wedding planner and she was AMAZING! She helped us from beginning to end and was so supportive. She dedicated her time to us and made everything just perfect for us. She recommended an amazing reverend as well as entertainment group. My entire family and all guests have said how amazing everything was. We had Robin as our Maitre D and she was amazing as well. She literally catered to us and made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed. Our guests were just so pleased with the service and they haven't stopped talking about it yet. I would recommend SMM to anyone that is looking to have an amazing wedding! If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing!

Spring Mill Manor ended up being the perfect choice for us for our wedding. From our initial meetings for preparations, we were instantly impressed with how well organized Spring Mill was, and how easy the planning process was. Joan did a wonderful job making sure the day went smoothly. The food was excellent, and the hall itself was absolutely beautiful. We were married in December, and Spring Mill was decorated for the Christmas season. They have a stunning Christmas tree that served as an unbelievable backdrop for our pictures, and the lights, artificial snow, and various other decor throughout made a special day even more so.

We chose Spring Mill Manor for our November 2014 wedding. We could not have been happier with how our event unfolded! Ray was our primary contact and he was a great guy. Very informative, very helpful, and very professional. They were able to accommodate several menu alterations to help make the wedding more our style. The week of the wedding, we also worked with Colleen and Ryan. Colleen was great at working with us on the final HC numbers and Ryan made sure the day of went off flawlessly. We gave them very specific instructions on how we wanted the room decorated with our items and they delivered 100%. The result was a wedding that was both extremely classy and an amazing time. We had guests telling us for weeks how much fun they had. The food was tremendous - we had Filet, Salmon, and Chicken Limone. All of the entrees were fantastic! We had a great tasting where we could sample entrees and all the cocktail hour appetizers - this really helped us plan the menu. The service was great, the bridal suite was spacious, we got great pictures at the Manor beforehand (our ceremony was not on-site). Overall, we were overwhelmed with the job performed by all members of the Spring Mill staff and could not be happier that we entrusted our wedding to such an outstanding venue!

No words can express how wonderful our ceremony and reception were at Spring Mill Manor on 1/17/15!! Everything went smoother than I could every imagine. Joan was always available and willing to answer any questions I had. We had multiple meetings to ensure every last detail was covered. Joan and her crew had everything down pat and I could not have asked for things to have been better. During both the ceremony and reception, we were guided where we needed to be. Nothing was overbearing or stressful the day of. Joan and everyone at the Manor helped to create a magical day and I knew everything was taken care of!

Spring Mill Country club was a great place to have daughters sweet 16 birthday celebration. The banquet managers were very accommodating. The food was delicious. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

We were married at Spring Mill Manor on September 27th, 2014. From my first email I knew we were in good hands. We met with Ray Favata and instantly knew that he would do anything to make our day perfect. When I say that he really went out of his way to make our wedding THE BEST I mean it. We felt so confident that all of the details would be cared for and nothing would be missed. When thinking about our day- it was true- not one detail was missed. The setting was perfect both inside and out. We were able to take some beautiful photos in the lobby, ceremony location, and outside. When we received out photos the first thing my husband and I said was how happy we were that we selected Spring Mill Manor. Every photo had such a pretty setting (again whether we were inside or outside). The lobby itself- made for the perfect setting to do our reveal photo- coming down the beautiful staircase- made me feel like I was in a fairytale. The food- people are still telling me that the food at both the cocktail hour and during the receptions were simply the best. And finally- the staff! So friendly and attentive. However, again, I have to say that Ray was one of the reasons we selected Spring Mill Manor. Planning a wedding is stressful enough so working with someone who is calm, patient and extremely knowledgeable in the wedding industry was something that I (as a very picky bride) really appreciated!! Both my husband and I are EXTREMELY happy with Spring Mill. I would HIGHLY recommend SM to anyone who is planning a wedding and wants the perfect setting, fantastic food, and excellent service!

My daughter and son-in-law recently were married at Spring Mill Manor. The venue is beautiful.
The food was excellent from the appetizers till the dessert.
Ryan was helpful and responsive from our first meeting through the end of the wedding.
All our vendors and our Rev. liked working with Ryan and Spring Mill Manor which made the day flow smoothly and made it a very special day for my daughter, son-in-law and our family and friends.
All the employees at Spring Mill Manor were always professional and helpful from our first meeting until the end of the wedding.

Everything about my wedding day at Spring Mill Manor was absolutely perfect! Joan's attention to detail was phenomenal! From the rehearsal, which went perfectly, to the ceremony by the beautifully decorated gazebo, to the butlered champagne in the gorgeous lobby, to the incredible hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, followed by an exquisitely decorated reception ballroom with truly delicious food - it was all perfect and we have been flooded with complements about how wonderful our wedding and reception were!

I have two sisters, and when they get married, I will definitely recommend Spring Mill Manor! There is NOTHING that I would change about my wedding day. Thank you Joan!

What a gem! The Spring Mill Country Club was the perfect place for our wedding. We had approx 195 guests and we were the only event at the venue that day. Ray, our contact, was awesome and we basically booked this venue because of him. We liked and trusted him immediately and he made us feel really welcome. I can't say enough good things about Ray and the staff of the Spring Mill, everyone we encountered was super friendly.

The grounds are gorgeous. We got married outside at the gazebo, which was just lovely. They have a nice paved pathway and beautiful flowers. Our florist even raved about the landscaping at Spring Mill. We had our cocktail reception on the back terrace under a tent, which was great and the ballroom was perfect for our guests, with room to spare, but not feeling too big, with a dance floor big enough for everyone.

The food was awesome, highly recommend the cheese steak station for the cocktail reception, our guests raved about it (many not from Philly, so it was a good treat). Our entrees were delicious (loved the tilapia) and Ray was willing to work with us to bring in some traditional Nigerian dishes for my husbands family, which was so nice as not many other people were willing to do that. The bakery they work with was really nice to work with and the cake came out perfectly. My aunt liked our cake better than her own wedding cake!

I'm not sure what else to say, but definitely check out the Spring Mill Country Club, they make you feel like family and were just so amazing to work with. They helped to make my wedding the best day of my life.

I do not have enough words to say how happy my husband and I were with Spring Mill Manor. Joan was our contact and a pleasure to work with. I knew if I emailed her anytime of day with a questions she would get back to me promptly. Joan made our day perfect, she even reminded my husband and I to sit and eat (which may have not happened if she did not tell us our food was getting cold). Our guest have not stopped saying how great the food was and how much food was there. Spring Mill Manor is highly recommended by my husband and I.

Perfect Day, Perfect Venue, Perfect Staff! Everything was all around just perfect! All the staff waited on myself and all the guests for everything and anything. I could not say a bad thing about SMM if I tried. The staff was amazing, the service was amazing, the good was amazing. Everything was amazing. I worked with Ray and Colleen who hands down are the most helpful and calming people I have ever met!! I even had people come up to me the next morning and say how awesome Ray was during the wedding. People ask me how was your daughter's wedding? I respond, AMAZING, PHENOMENAL, UNBELIEVEABLE, words cannot even begin to describe the entire day. I cannot say enough about Spring Mill Manor, Joan, Pete, Colleen, all of the servers, and everyone who made my daugther's wedding the "amazing" day that it was. I will be forever grateful for all of the work that everyone did to make it so amazing. From the moment our guests walked into the Manor, the decorations and the floor to ceiling decorated Christmas Tree set the tone for a once-in-a-lifetime wedding celebration. The cocktail reception was incredible with the endless hors 'douevres and the dinner was nothing short of extraordinary. Every detail you can imagine was handled with expertise. Many of our guests remarked that my daughter's wedding "was the best wedding they had ever been to" and we are talking about guests in their 70's and 80's making that statement. I am still on Cloud 9 two weeks after my daughter's wedding and the good news is my son will be married in April 2015 and we will again be back celebrating the occasion at Spring Mill Manor. Thank you again Joan for everything!

My son had his Bar Mitzvah at SMCC on Nov 23rd. I can not say enough about Ray and his staff at the club. They were attentive and did whatever we asked of them. The wait staff and the bar tenders were very accommodating. They made me feel at ease during the whole night. I highly recommend with the club or the Manor. You will not be disappointed.

I have never written a review on anything before. However, it being our wedding, and our wedding being ridiuclously fantastic, I HAD to write about it. Spring Mill Manor did our wedding, and I cannot say enough great things about it. When you have over 100 people telling you how top notch everything is, you know that they have done an amazing job. So amazing in fact, that everything I say will not even begin to describe it. From start to finish, it was beautiful. The food was DELICIOUS, the service was impeccable, and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. I am thrilled that I chose Spring Mill Manor for my October 19 wedding. From the beginning, they were helpful and very organized. They were extremely flexible and helped make my wedding exactly what I envisioned. I worked with Joan who is so kind and knowledgable. As soon as I met with her, I knew we were in good hands. She offered suggestions, but I never felt pressured. She was also very quick to respond (mainly through email - my preferred method of communication) to all of my questions.

Our wedding was in the larger ballroom. It was gorgeous. The food was delicious. My guests are still raving about the cocktail hour, especially the mashed potato bar! Our bartenders were so friendly. The staff was very professional and accommodating. The night ran so smoothly and was absolutely perfect.

I can't thank Joan and her staff at Spring Mill enough for making our wedding phenomenal. Choosing the perfect venue is such a daunting task, but I'm beyond happy with our choice of Spring Mill Manor. I hope I get to attend another wedding here in the near future!

I had both my bridal shower and wedding reception at Spring Mill Manor. I couldn't have been happier with the way both events turned out. It was absolutely perfect down to every little detail. I loved how the rooms were decorated and the lace and candles on the tables. The food was delicious and the service was also very good. Joan was my advisor and it really was a pleasure working with her through the whole process. She was very accommodating and always got back to me right away. Spring Mill Manor is a superb venue for a wedding. They have been in the event business for years, and you can tell their staff is extremely experienced. Our wedding went off without a hitch! I cannot complain about one thing. If you are on a budget, Spring Mill Manor includes more than most other venues in their wedding package and their prices are noticeably lower. Their food is excellent and there is a lot of it! Our guests are still talking about it. We got married outside by the gazebo and it was beautiful. The setting allowed for great pictures. We worked with Alyssa and Joan to coordinate the details of the wedding and both women were wonderful to work with. Very nice, organized, detail-oriented, and accommodating. For the rehearsal dinner, the Spring Mill Country Club Garden Terrace restaurant was a convenient, lovely, and affordable option. Food and service was great there as well. All around a great experience.

My son and now daughter-in-law were recently married and chose the Spring Mill for their reception venue. On their first visit, they met their event coordinator, Joan. Where can I begin to explain how amazing Joan was in the planning process and throughout their reception?

Joan not only answered every question, but she offered helpful advice and suggestions. She answered every call with a cheerful voice and helpful disposition. Somehow, during the reception, she had an uncanny way of being “everywhere” at the same time. Her staff was friendly, responsive and eager at all times. The venue was beautiful from the moment the valet parked our car, to the impressive entrance foyer with double turned staircase, to the fresh, hot and delicious food! The reception could not have been any better!

In short, Joan and her staff exceeded every expectation, at every turn, from the first day we viewed the venue to the last moment of the party. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Spring Mill, Joan and staff!!

Where do I even begin with my rave review on Spring Mill Manor? Joan Ellison was our wedding coordinator and she was truly the perfect person to work with. From day one, she was flexible, loving, and easy to work with. Joan worked with our limited budget and made all our wishes and dreams come true in an affordable way. The entire year we worked with her, she was easy to contact by phone and email. The recommendations she offered us for other vendors to employ were all spot on and affordable. The day of our wedding, every single person working the event was attentive and personable. My mouth is watering as I prepare to tell you about the food. The quality and quantity of food was overwhelming, from the mashed potato bar, to the sundae bar with warm waffles. Everyone warned me that the day of the wedding would not be enjoyable for me, but that couldn’t have been farther from the truth, as Spring Mill handled the entire day from start to finish with not one hiccup. It has been a month since our wedding and the guests haven’t stopped contacting me to share their love for the venue, food, service & general atmosphere. I owe this all to Joan and the Spring Mill Manor staff. They made all my dreams come true and I know that sounds corny, but trust me, if you decide to have an event at Spring Mill Manor, you will not be disappointed.

Spring Mill Manor was absolutely perfect! You will be engulfed in the venue's warmth and charm as you step into the beautiful manor. My wedding was a dream and full of elegance and class. For my husband and I, it was stepping into a fairytale, which soon became our own. The staff was incredible...in every single way. They provide and were there every moment leading up to my wedding. From the day we stepped inside this beautiful venue, we knew this was the place for us!!! Alissa knew everything there was to know about Jewish and Russian weddings. They let us put vodka on the tables in the Russian style, and they provided all the space we needed for our special Jewish ceremonies. Alissa helped me every step of the way and always found a way to accommodate my every request! The food was delicious, the service was prompt, and the price on their package deal just can't be beat!!! If you're looking for a gorgeous place for pictures, ceremony, and reception all in one, this is the place!!!

Had a great time at our venue! They were extremely nice and had everything figured out. We got the left side, with the bigger rooms and outdoor patio and easier access to the gazebo, so book early. Gazebo was fantastic, really enjoyed out, as it was in the shade, so my guests weren't hot. Only downside was geese droppings were still around but they cleaned the majority of it where the guests walk, but not where the groomsmen walk. We had both suites upstairs, so the guys had a place to hang out which was nice. They let us in early to decorate, they handled a lot of the work, just have your stuff labeled correctly. Food was EXCELLENT! All my guests loved the amount of food, the taste, and the bartenders were great, short lines, lots of good drinks. My drink was always full on our sweetheart table. Everyone was very nice.

My only issues were, the first initial meeting, all the focus was on the bride, and not both of us. I was completely ignored, to the point where I wasn't welcomed with even a Hello, and an exchange of names, which I did not like at all. My wife also had called or emailed couple times and had to wait longer than average for a response. Also they could update some of the lighting fixtures to look more modern.

But overall, fantastic wedding, very minor issues, as they know how to throw an all inclusive party and were very accommodating. Would easily recommend then to anyone else as the price is right for all the extras you get.

I can't say enough good things about Spring Mill Manor – our day was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is beautiful! We had our ceremony out by the gazebo, used the Chancellor Ballrooms, and did our first look on the gorgeous staircases in the lobby. Looking at our pictures now, it seems like the outside pictures are in an elaborate garden. The inside pictures then have this air of formality. For anyone looking for a nice balance of environments to their venue, Spring Mill Manor definitely delivers.

The best part is that the price was better than any venue we considered in the Philadelphia area. Our package included stations for cocktail hour and a cake (done by a local bakery) on top of the usuals (I keep hearing how the mashed potato bar was amazing). I was most impressed with how linens were included as well. Most venues I found only offer white table cloths and chair covers in packages; here I had a variety of colors to choose from to set the right mood. It was really nice and helped make our wedding more unique without spending more money.

We keep hearing compliments about how good the food was - which makes us really happy. Finally, Joan Ellison was great to work with. She answered any questions promptly, was super supportive, and (like everyone else I encountered there) just genuinely nice to be around.

Highly recommended venue for Philly brides!!

I knew from the moment I walked into Spring Mill Manor that I wanted to have my wedding reception there. My husband and I made an appointment and met with Pam Kerr and she was just wonderful! She helped us every step of the way and made everything so flawless. Everytime I called Pam she was so helpful and friendly. Pam did everything she could to make sure our wedding was extra special! When I got to see the room before everyone else did, I was speechless. It was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! Pam and the staff at Spring Mill were more than amazing and I recommend that if you are looking for a beautiful place with great service, look no further than Spring Mill Manor! Spring Mill was fantastic! They listened to every detail of what we wanted, and everything was perfect (even little things like dressing on the side for our salads)! The food was delicious! And, of course, the venue is very beautiful and photographs nicely. Spring Mill made the wedding day so easy - we really enjoyed ourselves knowing everything was done the way we wanted! After much looking at other venues, my husband and I went to check out Spring Mill for the first time and we felt something in us telling us this is where we would be getting married! From the moment we walked in the door and saw the beautiful lobby to when walking down the aisle to the gazebo on our tour with Joan (which literally, I cried when we walked to the gazebo with joy that I knew this was our place!) Joan was very helpful in working with us to create our special day. Although a lot of things were included in the price, she allowed us to bring in our personal touches to the venue to make it more to our style. I really felt that Joan did everything and beyond to make our wedding the way we dreamed it would be and more, and couldn't be more thankful! We got a lot of compliments from guests about the venue and the food. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a romantic feel and for a helpful wedding coordinator to work with!

Ray is super easy to deal with and he handled everything perfectly and was extremely accommodating. The food is fantastic and we heard the same from many guests. I used Spring Mill Manor for my rehearsal lunch. It was absolutely fantastic. The staff, the food, the beautiful room, exceeded our expectations in every way. I had my wedding on March 26 2011 and everything was perfect. The amount of food that is in cocktail hour is insane. And the food is delish and you won't ever regret booking this venue. Beautiful venue! Joan Ellison is a great host and helps you with every detail along the way. They made sure I had a wonderful wedding day. My ceremony was setup for outside, but of course it downpoured right at the moment it was about to start. She came around immediately with a backup plan and I had the most amazing ceremony still. My wedding was at the manor ballroom which was decorated beautifully. The food was absolutely high quality and delicious, the staff was great. Every one of my guest loved the wedding. Thaaannkkk youuu!!

We actually had our ceremony and reception at the Manor and we are still getting compliments on everything -- from the venue itself to the food!

We had the option of the "firesale", which is serving the wedding cake only as dessert, but at the last minute we decided to go with the full dessert table and it was phenomenal!!!

The staff and the manor is extremely helpful and has done this so many times that they know all of the questions to ask and things to cover.

We would not change a thing about our reception, except make it longer! We want one of our friends to have their wedding here so that we can enjoy it again!!

I had my wedding here on 9/26/15 and worked with Ray during the planning process and Robin was my maitre d' the day of.

The venue itself is gorgeous- it has a spiral staircase as you walk in and a beautiful gazebo in the back where I had my ceremony. The entire place takes great pictures. The food was amazing and the staff is very friendly and professional.

Ray was really great to work with, he really put my worries at ease about the planning process since he has experience with many events here. He was easily reachable and answered all my questions. He was really willing to work within my budget and was able to address any concerns I may have had (and questions about the ceremony and set up). He really went out of his way to make sure that I was good with everything every step of the way.

Robin, my maitre d' the day of the wedding was amazing. She made sure everything ran smoothly and kept me up to date with everything going on. She kept us on schedule and was very attentive to the bride and groom to everything we needed.

I would definitely recommend working with both of them again and having an event here!!

We are thrilled with how well our ceremony and reception went at Speing Mill Manor. Of all the venues we visited, Spring Mill had the best food, beautiful grounds and best price for the quality of food/drink/decor/service. We worked with Ray, who was so easy-going, accommodating and knowledgeable. We were all set to have an outdoor ceremony and 10 minutes before everything started, there was a thunderstorm. Ray and his team literally ran outside to save all of our flower arrangements and decor and quickly set the ceremony up on the dance floor. We were afraid the delay in the schedule would cause the food to be overcooked and dry, but everything came out perfectly cooked and delicious. The appetizers and desserts were also insane. They do not try to nickel-and-dime you. We had tons of great quality food and they gave us a lot of choice and flexibility with the menu. The drinks were awesome – not watered down. The servers were so helpful and fast. They even helped us load up the car at the end of the night. Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Definitely check out Spring Mill Manor!!

Pam is the best! She helped us every step of the way with the 1,000 decisions that we had to make. The bridal suites were perfect, the tables were set up perfectly. Everything was done so well and I didn't have to worry about anything on the big day. I heard that the food was wonderful too, I didn't get to eat most if though!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Spring Mill Manor 10/9/11! It was absolutely beautiful and elegant! The food is amazing and the planning staff is great! We are still getting compliments on the venue and food.

The only reason for the lower Professionalism score is because I think the maitre d needs to go back to charm school. He was rushing my husband and I so much during the night we didnt know if we were coming or going. He even told my brother, while my girls where bustling my dress, that if I didnt get downstairs they would introduce eveyone else and just forget about me, the Bride!!!!

We looked at many different venues for our June 2018 wedding, but once we saw Spring Mill, we were sold! We had a Sunday evening wedding and they gave us great prices and it included so much! All of our guests commented they've never seen so much food at a wedding before, and it was delicious! We started with Ray as our coordinator, but he left about 6 months before our wedding. We were worried because one of the reasons we picked Spring Mill was because of him. However, Joan took over our account and we couldn't be more grateful. She is the most detail- oriented and helpful coordinator you could ask for. When we went the week before our wedding, she had everything written down that we had talked about and took meticulous notes on all the decorations we brought with us. Spring Mill provides one tasting with 5 entrees. However, Joan was nice enough to let us return and try another dish to make sure we picked the one's we wanted. Joan was in touch with all of our vendors and it seemed to go seamlessly. On the wedding day, Joan was there and extremely attentive. It poured rain on our wedding day and the ceremony was supposed to be outside. Knowing I was upset, Joan was extremely kind and helped accommodate an indoor ceremony to make it as nice as possible without being able to be outside. The rest of the staff was great, as well. Throughout the day, they made sure we had everything we needed, including a drink at all times. Spring Mill really helped put on our dream wedding. Thank you to Joan and all the Spring Mill staff!

We very recently had our wedding ceremony & reception at Spring Mill Manor, and it was absolutely beautiful! Pam, the catering manager, was fantastic to work with. We had outside catering for our reception, but the overall event management on the day of the wedding was absolutely outstanding. All of the waitstaff, servers, and other staff involved were professional, courteous, and helpful.

As far as the planning piece, we had the added challenge of planning our wedding & reception from 300 miles away, but Pam--and the rest of the staff at Spring Mill--were excellent with returning emails and phone calls in a timely manner, going over details thoroughly, and answering all questions promptly...and HONESTLY.

I would highly recommend this venue for any event, and definitely for your wedding ceremony & reception!

This was a wonderful place to get married. It is beautiful, and the staff is fantastic. They really know how to run a wedding, and they steered the entire day perfectly. Joan is fantastic, and they were soooo accomodating! We had loads of stuff to bring and store prior to the wedding, and after the wedding. They let us keep everythign there so that we did not have to do drop offs on the wedding day, or take everything home the night of the wedding. The package was very inclusive, you get the site, beautiful gardens for pictures, two rooms, private bathrooms, the catering, and bar, and the wedding cake and all of the rentals/linens included in the price. The food is delicious! There is so much of it too! I am probably not a typical bride, I sat and ate my whole dinner, and it was so good! I had filet, and shrimp scampi. The desert table is immense and beautiful! The bakery, Lochel's, is the baker they use for the wedding cake, and our cake was gorgeous, and it was the best tasting wedding cake I have ever had. I am not saying that because it was mine, we had a lot of extra and our guest were taking home more than one piece, and everyone raved about it. The staff was on top of everything, I did not have to do or think about anything. The only reason for the 4 stars in professionalism was that the bartenders were not supposed to accept tips, because we paid them in advance, but we found out then next day that they did, and a lot of our guests tipped them a lot of money. It was really inappropriate, and made me feel really cheap and trashy the next day that my guests felt they were supposed to tip. The bartenders were awesome, but that really irked me and it is not an impression that can be taken back, and we were SO adamant about that when we were making all of the arrangements. So if you feel the same way, make ure to reiterate it to your maitre 'd the day of.

When I met Ryan, I was a little worried he was too laid back for me. I was SO WRONG. He was AMAZING. His 'laid back' demeanor, paired with his knowledge and patience was exactly what I needed when planning our wedding. He answered every question I had, assured me everything I was feeling was normal, and really made me relax every time we spoke. Ryan made me realize that the pros know what they're doing- at least at Spring Mill Manor. Our wedding was great and I attribute a lot of that success to Ryan's management. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Spring Mill Manor. The ceremony outside, the cocktail hour, the reception, the FOOD - ALL of it was awesome. I couldn't be happier and I encourage anyone who's looking for a more traditional ballroom wedding to check out Spring Mill Manor and work with Ryan!

Our July 12th wedding was THE BEST! We got married on the Country Club Side as opposed the Manor. At the CC, there is only one wedding taking place at a time and it was a few dollars less per/person. Ed, the manager, was WONDERFUL to work with. He even knew how to deal with my loving, yet overbearing mother-of-the-bride!
We had an outdoor ceremony on the beautiful grounds at the edge of the golf course. PERFECT!
Our friends and family still can not stop talking about the cocktail hour! Out of this would! I hope someone invites me to a wedding there! Most off all, I felt totally taken care of all day/night. The professional staff, and our head waiter made the night run seamlessly. They even packed up all of the things we brought for the wedding so that we wouldn't forget them!

This was the best choice I could have made. My day was awesome. i didn't want to get married here initially because my dad and step mom got married here but i am so glad that I did. We had an outdoor ceremony and days before the manor was still doing construction and I was having a nervous breakdown that they wouldn't be done. But the outside looked better than I would have imagined. THe night was great. The food superb. The cocktail hour, even though I missed it, had soo many food choices. And everyone told me it was nice. The staff was great to work with. The site is beautiful and for the price there is no other place out there.

We had our September 2016 wedding at the Springmill Manor, and I would use them again/recommended them in a heart beat. Ryan was great to work with, very accommodating, and answered all of our many questions. Only complaint is sometimes I took more than a few days for phone calls/emails to be returned. Otherwise a beautiful venue with delicious food!

Beautiful Wedding

My wedding at Spring Mill was beautiful and went so smoothly! The day was perfect and Donna was so helpful! She thought of everything and kept in contact throughout the whole year and a half of planning. My guests are still talking about how great the food and drinks were and the rooms looked great.

For quality of service, flexibility and professionalism I would absolutely give our Maitre'd Nicole all 5's. She went above and beyond to help make sure the day went smoothly.
We did encounter issues with lack of communication when our coordinator left the venue, we also encountered very rude members on our actual wedding day and the manager dismissed it as "members will be members". We had been told it would only be our wedding and our guests on site and it was very much not the case. It was completely uncomfortable to have members sitting outside while we had our cocktail hour. Otherwise, the staff was very attentive and accommodating. It was great to work with them, especially the day off.
What I didn't like, is when we went back to pick up my dresses the following day, they had taken them of the bridal suite where they were hanging nicely and just put them on the piano for all to have access to and take if their hearts so desired. That was very unprofessional, in my opinion.

Mediocre Venue and Service

While the location itself is gorgeous, the food and service were mediocre at best. My sister, the bride, was notified a few weeks before her wedding that the coordinator she had been working with for over a year was let go and that Donna would be taking over. Donna was unhelpful and downright nasty the day of when a few things went awry. The linens were not the correct color and we were told "there's nothing we can do about it now" at noon when the wedding started at 5pm; she didn't even attempt to fix or hear our concerns. Eventually Colleen helped somewhat to remedy the issue. We also asked Donna multiple times to reach out to the florist (that they recommended) when they were over 2 hours late and were dismissed with a "I said I'll text him". We only got an answer when my stepmom called the florist herself. With regards to the food, it was pretty basic "wedding" food. The issue was with the roast beef at the carving station. Multiple people from different tables had the meat and said it tasted sour and off. My dad had them pull the first piece, then my sister (who was unaware of the issue at this point) sat down and said the same thing to me thinking that the meat tasted spoiled. They eventually pulled that piece as well. Donna and the chef only told us that they thought it tasted fine and we never received an apology. Overall, for the amount of money spent at a wedding I expect much better.

Spring Mill Manor was very nice. The entrance area is very impressive with it's large floral arrangement and is flanked by two large staircases going up to the bridal suites. The catering was very good and the upgraded dessert display was impressive.

The two complaints I had were that the chairs in the ballroom are definitely not that nice and very cheap looking. The second was that the planner that was assigned to us was not helpful at all. I don't think I spoke with her more then twice. The day of I don't believe she was around at all. The Catering Captain however was fantastic.

Never again

I am giving this 3 stars due to the facility itself being very elegant. Otherwise, the entire experience was one to forget. Our wedding event was on Sunday July 4th. We visited them several months prior to that to see the place and agreed to go with them.
I gave the General Manger Ross Wilner (the Only person i ever dealt with at this facility) a deposit and verbally agreed to rent their hall. As we got closer to the event date, i found our guest count was reduced as many of our out of state guests
dropped out due to not wanting to fly during COVID. We now had 170 guests, but he said we needed a minimum of 225 (which i later saw he had actually put on the contract). After some debate, he suggested to charge us for 190 guests (20 more that were actually there).
I agreed to pay for the extra 20 guests at this point as i did not want any complications with our wedding event.

When he gave us a floor plan, he had laid out only 17 tables (170 guests). When i called and said i had paid for 190 and wanted the guests to have some social distancing, only then did he agree to put out two more tables.

When i had argued with him about why we would pay for extra guests when guests dropping out due to COVID was not our fault, he said "It was in the contract". When i suggested we never received a mailed copy of the contract, h said that in that case he may decide to "not honor the date"
How tough and tormenting is it for a host to hear that your contract date may not be "honored" when you have almost 200 people showing up and a wedding at stake. This is the kind of person we were dealing with. This man is not concerned with making his customers happy, only
the money he can bring for his facility. At least that was how he treated us.

The bride had decided to get her makeup done at the bridal suite. She arrived there at 12 noon. While i was on my way to the facility to deliver some party favors, i get a call from Mr. Ross Wilner saying some lady had called him and was coming to the facility to do the bride's makeup.
Mr. Wilner told me in no uncertain terms that the facility could not be used as early as that. When i said what difference does it make as there is no other event happening and she is only using the bridal suite, he said that he had to go out and could not leave the facility unattended.
When the bride got irritated and said she would pay for the extra time, he said it would be $25 per hour. Suddenly and for $25 an hour he was able to take the risk and leave the facility unattended. Considering we paid thousands for this event, an amount of $25 sounded pretty ludicrous to me.
But hey, they need to make every penny they can make i guess.

At 7 PM on the event day, we noticed he had left only a foot of space between tables as a walkway for the entry of the special guests to the stage. After we told him that would not work, he moved two tables to accomplish that goal. That was disorganized and we had to get involved to
correct the problem.

The carpet runner leading to the stage had lint and threads on it and looking unsightly. When i asked him about that he said "Your people brought all dirty carpets". "Your people" meant the stage decorator. When you are paying him thousands of dollars you expect him to get a staff member to
vacuum the runner carpet on his own, not to point fingers at people. He did get the staff to vacuum it though, but again only after we intervened.

At the sparkler send off outside, my wife asked him to turn on the overhead lights which would have looked beautiful. He did not turn them on for whatever reason. Instead of something he should have done on his own, he did not do it
even when asked to do so.
The water fountain was not working according to him. He said that it was out of order. Why was it out of order? Do you not make enough money on the facility to keep everything in working order? The lights were not on and the water fountain was not on outside.
How cheap can you get when you have the facility and you refuse to use it for a special event.

At the beginning, he had said that if we went over half an hour and our guests lingered, that would be ok. I realize he meant if they lingered, not if the DJ was still making announcements. But on the actual event, when the DJ announced the party was over, and we had gone over the time limit of
4 hours, he said that we extended our stay and it would be an extra $300 per the contract. He tracked me down and kept reminding me about the extra charges. I said i would take care of them the next day when i came to pickup the food. But he said they had to be settled before I left the building.
It turned out that not only charged me the extra for the half hour but also for the staff hourly rate for this time. I paid him the extra just to get him off my back.

After the event, he said he would allow us to put the leftover food in their fridges and he did. When i went to pick up the huge amount of leftovers the next day, i found some very desirable items were missing. I asked him if i could look at the fridge in case it was somehow missed.
He said "I'll show you the fridge but if your items are not there, you will apologize to me, right?" It turns out that our expensive goat legs and sweets went missing. They were never found and what happened to them, we will never know. I checked with the caterer and he said their
staff left as soon as the sweets were laid out on the dessert table. To be fair I cannot and will not blame anyone for that. That would be accusing someone without proof. I am simply saying they were missing and our guests next day at home did not get any of the 30 lbs of sweets we had ordered.

After the event was over and guests were milling outside the building saying farewells etc. I suddenly saw the outside lights turn off. This was probably less than an hour after the event, but you would expect the lights to stay on as long as there was even one person outside. It seems
very rude to turn the lights off when you know there are still people outside. The guests that were saying goodbyes outside felt like it was a slap on their face hinting that they need to get out. Again, not a very friendly gesture.

If you go with this facility and deal with Mr. Ross Wilner, make sure you have everything written down on the contract and go over it several times. Otherwise, if something is not to your expectation, he will say "Its not my fault you didn't read the contract". That's what he reminded me
of several times during the course of the event.

Thankfully the event went well. Nothing majorly went wrong. To be totally fair to Mr. Ross Wilner, he did do a few good things. Examples are making the adjacent room available for appetizers and food, supplying us with the piano for a piano recital, putting up a sign i had made on the
landing and handling the goat leg carving station himself.

But in the end, his overall unfriendliness and at times belligerent attitude left a bad taste in the mouth. For any other event in the future, i will go elsewhere.
