Fairytale wedding

Eric came highly recommended by our wedding planner and venue, and he absolutely lived up to that recommendation. His professionalism throughout the entire process was outstanding, and his expertise was evident from our first conversation through the wedding day itself. He provides a detailed planning packet that helps you thoughtfully organize music for every part of the event, which made the planning process much smoother and more intentional.

On the wedding day, everything was executed beautifully overall. There was a minor hiccup with the first dance song version being slightly different than what we had selected, but it did not take away from the moment or our enjoyment—we simply embraced it and continued to enjoy our day. Despite three hours of rain during our reception, Eric kept the energy high and consistently encouraged guests onto the dance floor. Our guests stayed engaged and danced through it all, which speaks to his ability to read the room and maintain the atmosphere regardless of conditions.

He honored our playlist and preferences well, and while there were moments of mixing that differed from what we were personally used to, everything still flowed and contributed to a lively celebration. Overall, Eric played a key role in keeping our reception fun, upbeat, and memorable, even in less-than-ideal weather conditions.

Professional, Fun, & great to work with!

Eric was a pleasure to work with! He reached out in advance to introduce himself and get a feel of what we were looking for and did no disappoint. The dance floor was jam packed throughout the evening. Highly reccommend!

Fantastic Service!

Eric did a PHENOMENAL job at our wedding! We sent him an extensive playlist of all the music we wanted to hear (and we were very particular) and he did an excellent job mixing a variety of genres, vibes and energies based on our wants and how our guests were responding. There was excellent communication leading up to our wedding and we felt super well taken care of. My husband and I didn't sit down during our wedding because the music was fantastic all night! Would highly recommend him and his team for your special day!

We Never Left the Dance Floor! SPL kept the Party Grooving!!

DJ Eric Perez & the SPL team provided the soundtrack to the happiest celebration of our lives! Puerto Rico Beach Wedding

Eric was absolutely phenomenal! He was incredibly easy to work with and adapted effortlessly to last-minute changes. We threw a few unexpected requests his way, and he handled them like a true pro—calm, flexible, and focused.

What really set Eric apart was his talent behind the booth. It never felt like he was just pressing play on a playlist—he skillfully mixed tracks and kept the energy high all night. His music truly elevated the entire party and made the night unforgettable.

Very Professional And Easy to Work with

Working with SPL entertainment was a great experience. DJ Eric was super helpful and responsive. They provide a good template for you to help guide your music and DJ Eric did a great job sticking pretty tight to our requests and what we wanted to play. They were very communicative and helped keep the pace of the wedding well and even adapted to requests we made seamlessly. We also used their photo booth service which we highly recommend as well, as they send digital copies to you as well. Eric and the other folks we worked with were all great and they kept the dancefloor hot almost the whole night. It was all a smooth procedure which we were worried about since we booked them while we were in NY. Definitely worth what the money and I'm very happy we decided to go with their services

Excellence and professionalism from start to finish.

We booked Eric (SPL Entertainment) for our wedding reception, The booking process was straight forward, service detaols well layed out and organized. The day of the event Eric prepared a respectable DJ setup that blended well with the decoration, all party and ambient lighting was high end equipment that added class to the venue. Regarding the music, we had tons of fun and danced all night. Eric blended well our music taste with his own music choices and read the room from the dinning until the last minutes of the party. Highly recommended.

Such a great DJ and Event service

I would highly recommend SPL Entertainment! They were our ceremony and reception DJ. And they were outstanding the entire time! From initial meeting they were always super quick to respond, really great with answering any and all questions, were open to coordinate colors with our decor provider, very caring and helpful creating our unique wedding monogram which was projected at our reception. The dj aways kept the dance floor full. Many of our guests complimented how great the DJ was also and what a great celebration party it turned out to be. So I hope this helps others to have such a great event. I literally have nothing bad to say about them and I'm a very critical and detail oriented person. They did a really great job on every aspect, and we are so grateful to have had them as part of our wedding! Thank you SPL Entertainment!!!

Fantastic Memorable Night

Perfect vibes

They gave us such a wonderful vibe at our wedding. From the ceremony with the very specific songs played, to when I told them I wanted dinner to have a 90s rom com vibe, to the dance floor where everyone partied all night long. It was absolutely perfect, I couldn’t imagine our wedding without Eric and his team.

Above & beyond!

Eric was incredible to work with! My husband is military and when our wedding was unfortunately rescheduled, SPL was understanding, supportive and patient. Eric was in communication whenever we had questions or needed to make changes. On the day of our wedding our ceremony was flawless and my unique music selection was executed perfectly. I got to enjoy our cocktail music while we took photos and then had the surprise of my life for the reception. We had a Star Wars theme to our wedding including the music. Eric was totally into it and even introduced me and my husband as the two sides of the Force. We never talked about it but me and my husband always joke that I’m a Sith/Dark Side Star Wars character! Eric even lit up his DJ lights to look like lightsabers. It was such an incredible surprise that made me so happy! I highly recommend SPL!!

Awesome Destination Wedding DJ!

We had a blast with DJ Eric! Puerto Rico was our destination wedding. I was referred to him by our wedding coordinator and we were happy we chose him since he had a great package deal. DJ + photo booth = 2 in 1 vendor, very convenient for us! We communicated via email and he provided a timeline and templates for us to use. Since we are both Deaf, his patience was greatly appreciated. It was a delight to see him fingerspell American Sign Language his name and sign thank you for our guests. We love him and we are thankful to have him DJ for our wedding!

PR destination wedding!

Eric was absolutely amazing! Our Puerto Rico wedding was a destination wedding. Because I never got to meet with him ahead of time, I was nervous about the DJ. However, he provided us with great guidance and a clear way for us to communicate what we wanted related to music, timeline, and events at the wedding ceremony via email.

The wedding was absolutely fantastic and I believe it was truly because Eric was so great.
He set the vibe and energy! I can't recommend him enough. We are so thankful that he was able to DJ our wedding.

I can't say enough good things about him. If I were to renew my vows anytime soon he would be our man!!

Excellent; professional and fun!!

We had the pleasure of having DJ Eric from SPL Entertainment as our wedding DJ- he provided the music variety we wanted following the guidelines that we set up. He took requests from guests and kept people dancing on the dance floor all night. He did this in a very joyous and professional manner. Best of all, he was the DJ for my 15th birthday party in 2011- 12 years later he was part of another big moment in my life. Highly recommended!!

Professional & fun! Kept the party going!

Eric was professional, prompt, responsive and keep the party going. He took all our song requests (even Armenian music!). Hire this DJ Immediately!

Eric was absolutely terrific. First of all, he was completely responsive to all our emails, which helped a lot with any bridal insecurity. Second, he was supremely well organized: the form he provided to plan out requests for each moment of the service and reception was so thorough and helpful. Third, he offered everything we needed to have the perfect day-- from uplighting (really worth it to transform the space!) to audio for the ceremony. He played all our requests (including all the special songs my family wanted to hear) while also mixing it up and bringing his own style to the set. We only had around 40 people at our wedding and the dance floor was PACKED. The other DJ we'd considered wouldn't have offered everything we got with Eric, and he was completely amazing in every way. Thank you for a perfect night!

Extremely professional. All of the arrangements were done electronically (quote, contract, music selection, etc.). I arrived 30 minutes before the party started and everything was already setup. There was a last minute change to the music and DJ Eric was very accommodating. Everyone had a great time and the photo booth was a huge hit! Best DJ in Puerto Rico!!

Professional and reliable!

Eric Perez and SPL entertainment were great! Remotely planning our wedding from start to finish was challenging. We experienced many vendors not replying to phone calls or emails, but our experience with Eric was the opposite. He was very prompt and professional. Eric had a great Playlist for our wedding! I don't think we ever stopped dancing. We let him pick most of our entry/exit/bridal party intro music and it was a huge hit!

Amazing find for a destination bride!

Finding a DJ in Puerto Rico while living in Chicago was one of my biggest concerns while planning. Music is very important to me and I knew it would make or break the evening. I am so thankful we found Eric! He was so flexible and responsive while we postponed our date twice due to Covid and he took the time to meet with us virtually to make sure we felt comfortable with everything. Go DJ That's My DJ!

Dj Eric kept the party rocking all night. I was a little nervous about music since a lot of my friends were coming from the states and didn't know Spanish, but Dj Eric kept the dance floor full at all times. He provided the photo booth and artwork which was great and convenient. As well as my huge monogram that was just perfect! Eric you were amazing, thank you for the services you provided!

Great music!

Great DJ for weddings! Instead of giving him the exact songs I wanted him to play throughout the night, I provided him the artists I liked. The DJ did a great combination of songs, no one stopped dancing!!! 💃🏻

Eric Pérez did a spectacular job as our wedding DJ. He was able to make magic out of a pretty disorganized list of songs that I sent him. He took the time to get to know the style and feel we were going for and did an amazing job reading the crowd and making sure everyone had the time of their life! The heart of any party is its music and I can’t say enough good things about Eric @splentertainment. He is a profesional and will make sure your celebration is everything you ever dreamed of. I will begin with the lighting, it complemented my decor so beautifully. He personally took the time to do a site inspection with my decorator and wedding planner to ensure everything was perfect. They worked together and delivered exactly what I imagined. I had guests asking for their information saying it was one of the most beautiful receptions they had ever seen.

And then there was the music. All I have to say is wow. We danced and partied like we never danced before. I danced every single song from the first one to the last. Thank you Eric for keeping the party going the way you did. We enjoyed our day to the fullest. The batucada ( hora loca) was a blast. Best one I have ever seen. All my guests were raving about it. There was not one person left in their seat when they came in.

You are truly talented at your profession and delivered more than we could have hoped for.

We can't speak highly enough about working with DJ Eric at SPL Entertainment! He and his team worked seamlessly to give us the best entertainment for our destination wedding in Vieques, Puerto Rico.

Throughout the process of working with him, Eric was professional and extremely responsive, quickly accommodating our requests (the confetti "rain" was the biggest hit of the night!) On the night of our wedding, our venue gifted us an extra hour and Eric was game to extend his services on the spot, which we were so appreciative. We asked for a club-like atmosphere and Eric kept our dance floor packed for the entire night with his DJing!

Finally, we're so thankful we hired Eric for his amazing photobooth. Our guests loved how easy it was to send the photos directly to themselves and the print quality was fantastic. Overall, we couldn't be more satisfied with SPL and we highly recommend booking them for your event.

Hands down the best DJ in Puerto Rico! I planned my wedding from Rhode Island so I really had to trust my vendors. Eric made this easy!! Our DJ Eric was absolutely amazing! We had a culturally mixed wedding as I am Persian and my husband is Puerto Rican. I was able to provide Eric with some of the Persian music I wanted to be played and he did a fantastic job of mixing all the type of music we wanted. Eric Perez and his team were amazing! I was so caught up with planning all year that I barely had contact with Eric. I gave him everything he requested so last minute. Not only was he so understanding about it, but he delivered anyway! also, filling in places with music that I had missed. My husband and I, along with all the guest danced the night away! great energy and a great MC. We also decided on glow sticks ( which are a hit! you NEED them at your reception) and a confetti machine last minute, which he was able to accommodate. Also, my wedding was a destination wedding, so when we visited Puerto Rico, he drove all the way to San Juan to meet with us. Eric is AMAZING! very professional since day 1.I asked him a lot of silly questions bc honestly it was the 1st time I had to look for a DJ. I have been to weddings where everything is pretty but the DJ is awful and it really makes the whole event a disaster. I didn’t want that to be my story and it certainly wasn’t. We didn’t want live music so selecting the right DJ was very important. He asked me a lot of questions which tells you that he knows what he is doing and he has a lot of experience. He had suggestions and gave me options for the ones I couldn’t answer. After talking to other DJs, even the ones that are known to be the “best”, I knew Eric was the one! He is the best! very professional, friendly, and I loved that he showed excitement for our wedding, eventhough he never knew us from before. It is important to have someone that cares and is excited for your day because that means he loves what he does and he is going to make sure everything goes perfect on your day. He created a mix of 3 songs we loved for our first dance! I gave him 3 very different songs but he made it happen! it was beautiful! The day of, he went the extra mile and worked with other vendors to make sure everything was perfect. His set up came together so great with the atmosphere and décor. He even helped the coordinator with announcements throughout the reception. He didn’t have to do that, but he did! He kept a very diverse crowd of puertorricans, americans and others entertained the whole night! People didn’t leave the dance floor! That’s what we wanted and he delivered exceeding our expectations! Our friends kept talking about how great the DJ was! Fluent in English and Spanish! We will definitely contact SPL for our 5yr anniversary party!
Oh and the other day he surprised us with a video he prepared of our day! Yes! We have not been able to watch it but I know is going to be great and we thank Eric for letting us relive our special day w a video.Thank you!

Eric was the DJ at our wedding in March 2016. During planning he was very responsive via email. He allowed us to pick out all the songs we wanted before the wedding. During the wedding he was great as he introduced us as a married couple and our first dances. Eric and his team were not only professional but a delight to work with. Although we lagged on being timely with our response they were able to make everything happen for us. I cannot say enough positive things about Eric and SPL Entertainment! We used him as our DJ for our destination wedding in Puerto Rico! I started planning with him a year before my wedding from my home in Florida. Planning a wedding from afar is stressful enough but Eric was always available and responsive via email and phone. He put me at ease with his professionalism and responsibility to making our wedding music memorable and fun. A week before the wedding my husband and I met with Eric at a coffee shop where he had great suggestions on the bridal party entrance music and overall order of events. It was great to have his experience and input to the coordination of events and music throughout the evening. The day of, he showed up on time and even took great photos of the room, setup and ceremony. He was a great host and kept the reception moving from beginning to end with a great flow. I had a lot of compliments on how everything seemed to run so smoothly and without a hitch! Eric came to us when were running a little behind and had great solutions to get back on track due to our timeline. Our dance floor was never empty from the time it was officially open! EVERYONE... young, old, Hispanic, non-Hispanic, etc. was dancing! He played a great mix of Latin and Top 40 and mixed them so well that you couldn't help but dance or sway at your table. Towards the end of the night it was pouring rain and Eric kept the music going until the rain stopped. He is extremely professional and bilingual which was a plus since we had half Spanish speakers and half English speakers. He is the BEST, I would choose him and SPL all over again, no question! We are from Florida and did a destination wedding in Rincon, Puerto Rico. We were looking for a DJ and were referred to Eric of SPL Entertainment by a vendor in Puerto Rico. Eric was amazing from the start. Before the wedding Eric was so easy to deal with. He responded to all emails and phone calls immediately which was comforting as we were never able to meet with him beforehand. During the day of the wedding Eric was there early and ready to go way in advance. We had a bunch of special requests that required exact timings and Eric hit every one of them perfectly. The waves were crashing and the wind was strong so it was loud and Eric mic'd us up during the ceremony so people could hear our personal vows to each other. It was very important to us that our guests be able to hear our personal vows. The mics were great and the sound was perfect and noise-free in spite of the loud waves and strong wind. It could not have gone any better. During the reception, he made sure to get the party going and stay going all night. If you are getting married in Puerto Rico, my wife and I highly recommend DJ Eric Perez.

From the day I started contacting DJ Perez, he was very helpful and patient with all of my requests. The music was out of this world, he was an outstanding DJ. My daughter and her friends were very happy with the music selection. The photo booth was a hit. Everyone from the youngest 3 years old to the oldest 90 years young enjoyed the photo booth. Best DJ for a wedding! Don't get a band that will charge you thousands. We recommend him for any kind of activity. Usually you go to a wedding and the dance floor is empty during certain parts of the night. In our wedding I think there was people dancing even when the food was being served! Eric and his assistant were absolutely fantastic. I cannot say enough positive things about them. The music itself was awesome! They had everyone dancing all night long, and the up lighting they brought was beautiful. It really made the room look fantastic. Eric is professional, personable, and quick to respnd to emails. We had sent so many emails back and forth that by the time we met I felt like I really knew him! He made sure everything went smoothly and was the way we wanted it. Last but certainly not least...The night we got married San Juan had a record amount of rain (9 inches in only a few hours). Many roads were flooded and shut down. Everyone was stuck in traffic for hours, but they braved the storm and were at the venue and set up on time. I would recommend Eric to anyone for any type of event! DJ Eric Perez from SPL Entertainment was the best! I had a destination wedding at El Convento in old San Juan and couldn't have been happier with his service. As a wedding DJ myself, I am very picky about vendors, DJs especially. He was incredibly easy to work, very responsive to all my needs, and also very professional. He brought a unique feel to the dance music and had excellent DJ skills. I highly recommend SPL Entertainment and am so happy I went with him for my wedding!

I loved DJ Eric! He was flexible,open to my requests of music and found some rare old music I wanted!
The music during the dinner was soft Reggae and I loved it bc it wasn't the usual music u get at a wedding while u eat. So I loved the set up and whole experience!

todo su servicio fue excelente. Muy profesional y mantuvo a todos los invitados disfrutando y bailando en la pista. La musica que toco SUPER!!! Ninguna queja de el, al contario, lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados. Muy responsable. Si quieren que su actividad tenga el mejor DJ, la mejor musica, el es el indicado.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with DJ Eric. He was the most professional vendor we worked with and was always available to answer any questions we had. I really liked the fact that he went beyond the transactional part; his professionalism exceeded our expectations. He was able to download any songs we wanted and was great at recommending songs. I really feel like he understood what my husband and I wanted out of the night and made that come true.

With all the stress that comes with planning a wedding, it was so nice to work with someone as professional and accommodating as DJ Eric. I would recommend SPL Entertainment without reservation.

DJ Eric had our guests on the floor all night! He diid exactly what we asked and more. I was very hesitant in the beginning when looking for a DJ in Puerto Rico because I am West Indian and my husband is Puerto Rican and we wanted all types of music played especially Soca, Reggae and Calypso to. Well, DJ Eric surprised us and my family with his style! He played every type of music we requested and mixed everything very professionally. I wish he worked in New York, because I would hire him for every party I throw.

Great from start to finish!! Very attentive with my needs and the grooms had great suggestions, was on time and very professional and the music was excellent. By far the best vendor at our wedding.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding in Isabela Puerto Rico in January of 2017. DJ Eric was booked directly by our hotel and amazing team, so no need to sign contracts or negotiate, it was very simple. DJ Eric worked with us via email for a couple of weeks prior to the event, he was always very responsive and professional. On the day of our wedding he arrived on time and prepared, could not ask for a better experience really.

We hired SPl for our Hindu Destination Wedding in San Juan PR. This was the best decision we made after talking to several DJs. Eric was extremely responsive and very accommodating right from the get go. He knew exactly what we wanted and delivered it to perfection. We hired him for three events-- Welcome Dinner, ceremony and dinner reception. He also played Bhangra and Bollywood music. The dance floor was rocking the entire night and the guests were begging for more. The professionalism displayed all the time was very welcoming Thanks Eric for a great party!!
