Wonderful venue!

My husband and I loved getting married here in May 2021! The management is wonderful to work with, the property is beautiful, the in-house catering is delicious, and it is all for an affordable reasonable rate! I recommend renting out the Airbnbs on the property - my family stayed in one and it was so convenient. Highly recommend! Go tour this venue if you are looking to get married in the hill country.

Wedding in Comfort

This past Sunday, we attended our friends’s daughter‘s wedding. We were very impressed by the venue. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The reception was top-notch with professional service and excellent food and beverage. The staff was very attentive andaccommodating. The whole experience was very enjoyable.

Incredible Wedding Day!!

We booked Spinelli's in January of this year. Anytime that I had a question or needed to finalize something, they got back to me very quickly. On wedding day everything was so smooth and efficient. We were able to enjoy ourselves while the crew at Spinelli's took care of everything. 5 stars is not a high enough rating!!

Wonderful Experiance

Spinelli’s is beautiful and unique! Everyone was very helpful, supportive and QUICK with the set up/clean up process, making it easy on the bride. We received many compliments from guest on the experiance of the venue and food. The whole weekend was a great stay for all friends and family- making it a true “one stop shop!”

Felt like family!!

Dennis and Pedro are just simply amazing for everything that they did for us. We are beyond blessed to have been working together with them for our special day. They are understanding and will do all that they can to accommodate your wishes. Pedro really did go above and beyond and he never failed to make us feel like family. I hope he continues to do what he does because he made a huge impact in our lives.

This venue was the best. Such a great, affordable price that includes so much! If I could get married all over again, I would chose Spinelli’s again and again. This is the place to go!

Amazing place to have your wedding!

Spinelli's is a beautiful venue for a wedding! It has it all! Beautiful chapel, large reception area that fits many guests comfortably with a large dance floor, lodging onsite, great food, great service and all for a reasonable price compared to many venues we looked at! Wedding and reception were flawless with no stress! Many great memories made there!!!

Beautiful place and the view is great!

Great staff everyone was nice and helpful. Food was excellent we had the Italian food there the owner Dennis is a four star chef. The location of the venue is great, beautiful scenery and the chapel is gorgeous. I would 100% recommend the venue it’s awesome!!!

Spinelli’s Wedding Venue

Beautiful chapel! Very welcoming and friendly staff. Food was terrific, along with outdoor bar being very nice under gorgeous outdoor lighting! Created perfect ambiance, would definitely recommend if looking to get married in the Texas Hill Country!!!

Smooth Sailing!!!

Hands Down the best choice we could have done was choosing Spinelli's. If you’re looking for a one stop shop place, where the location is beautiful, the church gives you comfort & the reception area is such a dream. You can customize and make everything happen all under one roof! As a bride you get worried on all the small details I assure you they have your back! My wedding day was perfect & everything I could want! Please go to Spinellis! You won’t regret it! My guest continued to say how great the food was and how much fun they had! It was a wonderful day!

Awesome Venue!

This place was amazing!! Everything about this place helped make our special day that much greater. Essentially since it was one stop shop. Dennis, the owner, ensures you’re taken care of. On site, he has two rental houses, a chapel, a bridal suite, and a dining room. Although our wedding was small (60 people), everything needed was right there. Further, he has food as well which makes the whole wedding planning a hell of a lot easier. And to top it off, it was absolutely delicious.

Dennis and his staff are absolutely amazing and go the extra mile to ensure you’re taken care of. When my wife got sick the day of the wedding, he whipped up the most delicious chicken noodle soup in less than ten minutes. And when I say it was delicious, it was amazing.

Honestly, I’m not one for writing reviews, but he made the whole wedding process almost easy. Venue, chapel, food, DJ options, different decoration options and places to stay if you want to continue the party are all offered through the wedding venue.

I cannot tell you enough how much I would recommend this place. Dennis is awesome, makes you feel welcome, and is truthful and helps guide you. If you’re thinking about here, don’t hesitate. Well worth it!!

Breathtakingly perfect

If you are looking for the perfect place to get married in Texas, THIS IS IT!! Dennis and his team was absolutely phenomenal!! We planned our wedding literally in 90 days and Dennis made sure that our day was PERFECT!! The 100+ year old chapel was is what caught my eye but upon arriving to tour the venue, we quickly realized that SPINELLI’S was our place. The food was AMAZING!! The service was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! The convenience of being able rent to house on the property the night before and the night of, were huge for us. The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS and Dennis offers set up, clean up & table decorations!! Our wedding was an absolute DREAM!!

Excellent Venue, Service and Staff

We had my Son's Wedding at Spinelli's 1/16/21. Everything went perfectly and Dennis and his staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went like we wanted. The food was excellent, and the facility is absolutely beautiful!! We enjoyed having everything right there on the same grounds, with the Chapel, reception hall, and 2 BNB's! I highly recommend Spinelli's!! Thank you Dennis for making Ryan and Andrea's day so perfect!! You are Awesome!!

Love this place!

I love this venue. We used their catering and the good was delicious. We stayed at their homes but the only bad thing was we had to leave early the next day.

Winter Wonderland Botello Wedding 11-28-2020

Dennis was absolutely amazing and his staff was perfect! My husband and I had the most magical experience at the venue and lodging on site was wonderful. The food is amazing. We did the Italian theme with His and Hers Sangrias for our guests. Everything was simply beautiful!

Hill Country Charm With A Feel Of Italy All In One Place!

You won’t be disappointed with Spinelli’s. Not only is it beautiful and charming, but you’ll truly have an intimate ceremony and reception that will make your day so much memorable. I knew I wanted some Hill Country “charm”, but it wasn’t until I visited the venue that I felt like I got the Texas Hill Country and Italy all rolled into one! My husband and I now live in Boerne and we’ll occasionally drive to Comfort on a whim just to drive by Spinelli’s because it truly brings back beautiful memories. So many of our guests commented on how intimate our ceremony felt compared to larger venues. On top of all this, Dennis was absolutely wonderful to work with. At the time we were planning our wedding we lived in Florida so working with someone that stayed connected to us was critical. Dennis took so much of the planning pressure off that by the time our wedding came around we vent completely relaxed and at ease. Dennis will work with you to customize just about anything you want.

Perfect Package

Spinelli’s venue deserves more than 5 stars. This place had it all for my wedding; beautiful scenery perfect for photos, a chapel AND reception hall within walking distance from our bed and breakfast, an on-site bridal and groomsmen suite, my list could go on! We had the prime rib and it was to die for, although their mashed potatoes were my personal favorite. The food was delicious food, the space was easy to get around and had ample parking (we had 100 guests), it was perfect. A huge thank you to the owners, Dennis and Victor, who were phenomenal to work with. They were always available, were flexible and responsive with unexpected or last minute changes, and just downright SUPER COOL to be around! They made my whole family comfortable, which just made everything simple and worthwhile. I would recommend Spinelli’s to anyone, especially those couples looking for bundled services like ceremony venue, reception venue, catering, and bar services! THANK YOU SPINELLI’S!!!

Great experience!

Amazing venue/amenities! Amazing service! AMAZING PRICE!

I can’t say enough good things about Spinellis. Victor will give you your wedding packet, have that filled out, and your final walkthrough will be a breeze. Victor and Dennis are both very nice and accommodating. This place, the church, is so beautiful they do EVERYTHING FOR YOU. Their food is delicious. They can cut your cake. Coordinate sparklers. They are truly full service. The city of comfort itself is so quiet and sleepy and sweet and peaceful I truly want to move here. The lodging on site is so convenient too. And you get all of this at such an incredible price. I was able to have my dream wedding and I truly loved every minute of the day, and the days leading up to my wedding. Spinellis has a special place in my heart forever.

An Incredible Experience

Excellent Catering Services!

We used Spinelli's for the catering at our wedding and had a fantastic experience all around! First, I love that they are very up-front with their prices. Their quotes include gratuity, set up and tear down, and delivery. There are no additional surprise charges that I found with many other caterers when obtaining quotes. A HUGE plus is that the use of their plates and silverware are included in their catering packages. This saves a ton of money when considering most caterers and rental companies charge per plate, fork, etc. and the costs really add up on something that (in my opinion) should be included anyway. Fortunately, with Spinelli's, it is! Guillermo went above-and-beyond to make sure I was happy at all times. He is extremely responsive and even gave me a heads-up when he was going out-of-town so that I wasn't alarmed if I had a question and didn't hear back right away. The best part of all is that the food is delicious! I was told by other brides that even if the food is good at tastings, to not get my hopes up for the day-of because the food has to travel and sit for a while, and that their experiences with their wedding caterers weren't great. This was not mine or my guests experiences at all! The food was AMAZING! Guillermo even brought salmon to cook for me since I don't eat other meat, and he waited to cook it until right before dinner was served so that it would be fresh for me. He showed up early to each appointment, had great suggestions along the way, and was an overall wonderful vendor. We cannot recommend them enough!

Best weadding!

Spinelli's is a truly wonderful and unique place!!Thanks to all at the Spinelli's Cathedral for a great time :) A wonderful place to get married. We had both our ceremony and reception there.We rented all the houses they had and our guest had a great time used the patio after the reception was over. You need to see this great venue, thanks for the best time of my life :)

Complete Peace and Stress Free

This is a wonderful venue. The staff is willing to go above and beyond to help with anything you need. The houses on the property are so cute. We rented both. It worked out perfectly. Everyone had a place to rest and relax and get ready for the wedding. The big house has a very large refrigerator and that is where we kept the flowers fresh prior to the wedding. The church is just beautiful. This was a perfect place to have a wedding. If I had a say in my other kids weddings I would go back to Spinelli's for each one.

I had been skeptical of Spinelli's, mostly because my mom had been the one to find it online, and the location seemed inconvenient. There were many Hill Country venues closer to my Austin location. Why go so far out? Well, I'm totally glad I did. The service we received, starting from day one, was phenomenal, and you absolutely cannot beat their prices. By choosing Spinelli's, we were able to have our dream wedding without cutting many corners. We were able to have a cocktail hour with appetizers, a full plated buffet, a photo booth, cake-cutting service, full bar service, bride and groom's suites, the overnight house, and more--all without breaking our budget. The chapel is beautiful, along with the reception hall. The indoor/outdoor combination is perfect for a summer wedding, when you want the beauty of the outside but you still need the air conditioning. The venue holds more people than any of the other venues we looked at, so you don't need to be anxiously checking your response cards. While the far location might be a turn-off, our guests actually enjoyed the drive out in the country, because in the Spring/Summer months it's absolutely gorgeous. The weekend felt like a getaway, yet people could still drive back into the city if necessary. The decision to go farther out actually made our weekend even more magical. Lastly, I cannot stress enough the service Dennis and Victor provided, not only to my husband and me, but to our families as well. They absolutely know what they're doing, and they will treat you like family. I would get married at Spinelli's all over again. It might not be as trendy as some of the Dripping Springs venues, but the venue and its staff have a timeless appeal that you won't regret choosing. -Lexi

Having our son Larry and daughter in law Crystal wedding at Spinelli was AMAZING and MAGICAL. Dennis Spinelli, Victor and Juan are great and work with any budget you have. We had a guest list of 300 and they accommodated everyone the day of the wedding. Everyone attending expressed how beautiful everything from the church wedding to the pavillion for the cocktail hour to the entire decorations in the dance and dining area. Several of our guest expressed how great the entire professional waitstaff was the entire night, since we had an open bar and served any drink reqiested. They also commented the excellent catering. Spinelli has an excellent menu to choose from. Ours was pork roast and chicken with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Since the evening was so beautiful and coo,l several of our guest gathered outdoors and enjoyed their favorite drinks from the outside bar. Pleanty of seating and we also occupied both houses on the property along with the Bridal suite to get dressed and have your make up and hair done. Spinelli Venue is a one stop hassle free place to have any celebration. Several of our guest should interest in having a 50th birthday, sweet 15, to us having our upcoming 40th Wedding anniversary. Thank you Dennis Spine, Victor, Juan for making our son and daughter in law's wedding a very memoriable event!!!

Spinelli's, is a dream venue from the cozy chapel to the gorgeous land scaping and one of a kind vined walk ways. They also serve all your needs. I got married here in November, and Dennis and Victor where amazing and made me feel like family everytime I visited leading up to our big day. They handled the catering and it is the best hands down. All the staff at Spinelli's was great and willing to assist in anyway that they could. My wedding was amazing, and it couldn't have been if it wasn't for this venue and it's people. Truely amazing experience!

Recently, my son got married at Spinelli's in Comfort. From start to finish, the experience was first rate. Not only were the owners courteous, they were very sensitive to our family's needs and responded in a prompt professional manner. You will not find a more beautiful, peaceful setting for a wedding where everyone can come together and focus on the big day. Spinelli's wedding and special event venue, is in the heart of Comfort's historic downtown and far from the madding crowd. Not far from the venue are an array of shops, restaurants, historic points of interest, lodging and some of the friendliest folks you will ever meet. There's even a distillery and winery close by, and recreation spots that include golf and hunting. Our family and friends fit in nicely to the banquet area, and seating in the historic chapel was more than adequate. Perhaps one of the highlights of our stay was the catered food by the award-winning Spinelli's Catering service. It was fantastic. Everyone in our wedding party raved over the food and service. And in the end, the price was very competitive. We felt we got more for the buck than other places we looked at. I would recommend that you call the owner and see it firsthand. They gave us a tour, and I'm sure they will do the same for you. You won't be disappointed. Thank you, Dennis! Thank you, Spinelli's.

We had a amazing wedding at Spinelli's Wedding Venue!!!! The venue is simply beautiful, the atmosphere was intimate and very romantic, the staff are amazing. Victor was extremely helpful and made the experience even more special for my husband and I. :)

Our family and guests were blown away with our wedding. They not only took care of the food, decorations, tables, the ceremony, and reception but also worked with us all the way to stay in budget. We also rented the houses on location for us and our family and could not be happier with how our wedding turned out.

I couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue! We chose this place because the church, dancehall, and a place to stay the night was all at Spinelli's. The convenience of having everything there was awesome. Not to mention Dennis and Victor are awesome, from the first day we meet them to our wedding day they are top notch. This is a wonderful venue!! Everything is so conveniently in one place. Chapel for the ceremony, check (even outside area for an outside ceremony), reception hall- check, bridal suite- check, rental house for before or after wedding for family- check. The food was amazing, the staff were all super helpful and professional! It was an all around great experience!!

So easy to work with and worth every penny!! The ceremony, the food, the people and environment is perfect! Dennis even drove us around comfort to make sure we knew of all the places to tell out family to stay. They are amazing!

Where do I begin? My husband and I were married at this venue on October 11th 2014. It was beyond perfection and everything I dreamed about since I was a child. Dennis and his wife, Denise, are the most amazing people and we continue to speak with them. Our guests were blown away by the beauty and thr convenient setup of the venue. As the bride, I was looking for a historical vibe, not some cookie cutter venue. It meant all my expectations and more. If you are searching for an elegant and reasonable venue, look no further and book it!

I live in Florida and I wanted to get married in Texas because my family is there. I was going crazy trying to find something and i had no clue where to start. I found this venue and it was a gift from God. They are amazing!!! Dennis the owner is awesome and he was a huge help as well as Victor. The food was incredible! The service was excellent! I spent the better part of a year looking for a Hill Country wedding venue that was close to San Antonio, but when I saw Spinelli's in Comfort, I quit looking. I had found what I was looking for, and it had everything. Charm, accessibility, parking,lodging, nearby attractions, professional service, great price, ambiance, great food, full-service, wedding chapel, banquet facility, dance area, and much more. My first impression of Spinelli's was that I had stumbled upon a real gem. It is quiet, near attractions like wineries, shops and restaurants and has plenty of space even for large groups. They made me feel very comfortable and that helped relieve stress associated with planning a family wedding. The management was very courteous and professional from the start to finish. Highly recommended!

Thank you, Dennis and Victor for being so easy and fun to work with, and for helping me have my dream wedding within a budget that my fiancé and I were comfortable with! If you are looking for rustic charm in a setting that is intimate yet classy, Spinelli's in comfort TX is by far the best value for the price! The catering is amazing, the venue is gorgeous, and Victor and Dennis are very quick to answer questions and do everything they can to help make the whole experience be everything you've dreamed of. AWESOME, BEAUTIFUL and MAGICAL are just a few and not enough words to describe this wedding venue. Dennis, Victor and staff are amazing! Everyone is so professional and so caring. Spinelli's Cathedral in Comfort, TX is an incredible venue. The level of service provided each and everyone on their staff is incredible. They go out of their way to ensure the bride (me) and groom are well taken care of and that the event exceeds their expectations. I would highly recommend them to all couples who want to be well taken care of on their big day. I honestly do not have enough words to share all the accolades for Dennis, Victor, and everyone else. We were planning our wedding from California because we are stationed here. We found this venue online and sent our family to check it out. The pictures do not do this venue justice. It is so incredibly beautiful and has everything in 1 place. We talked a lot with Victor who was really helpful with whatever questions and things we needed. The owner Dennis, AMAZING. He was so nice, made sure we had everything we needed and was satisfied only when I was happy. And I called them A LOT for referrals and advice about vendors to use. The day of our wedding we were SO happy with how everything turned out. Dennis and Victor, thank you so much for making our day the best day of our lives!

Dennis, Victor, and their team were fantastic. The venue was perfect - everything we expected/hoped for, and more. They were very willing to work with us with any requests we had, and we loved having the opportunity to stay on-site the night of the wedding in the bridal suite. The only complaint for that: the front door didn't lock, so anyone could have walked in, and the bed was horribly uncomfortable.

Spinelli and Staff! Thank you, thank you, and thank you. You all made our wedding dream a reality in less than three months. From when we first visited the venue to our big day, and after, we felt welcomed by everyone. Everything from the ceremony to the reception went as planned and we are happy.

The foods OMG! (Leg of Lamb and Chicken Marsala) were exquisite and delicious. Everyone loved the foods.

The cottage was very convenient for all our friends and families. With our low wedding budget, we received A Five Star treatment. Thank you!

My husband and I got married at Spinelli's Cathedral in Comfort, Texas on December 31st 2013. It was the perfect wedding at the perfect venue. The old world charm was incredible. Dennis Spinelli and his staff did a fantastic with the food and decorations. My husband is still raving about one of the dishes Dennis prepared for the reception! Pork with red pepper sauce. It is a must try!

From the first moment we visited The Cathedral and met Dennis and Victor we knew it was the perfect venue. Beautiful and the warmth and enthusiasm exhibited where unbelievable!

The entire staff made our experience one never to be forgotten! They were there to answer any questions we might have at any time. They made us feel like we were the only two people they needed to attend to.

The venue offered so much. Beautiful grounds and spots to do many outdoor activities, as well as, a bride's cottage. The cottage was perfect for spending time with your bridesmaids and getting ready for the big event. I loved it!

Can't say too much about the wonderful food and service at the reception! Every dish was superb! My fav was the chicken with a mushroom sauce that was to die for. Great quality at a reasonable cost!

I highly recommend Spinelli's Cathedral for your upcoming wedding!

From beginning to end, Dennis and his staff made my daughter's wedding easy to plan and effortless to execute. The setting was gorgeous, the food was delicious (nothing like banquet food) and the overall experience was just what she wanted. We had a large wedding-almost 400 people, so it is difficult to find a venue that is able to accomodate that size crowd and manage the flow well. Through the use of the dance area the outdoor settings, the patios and the fabulous covered banquet hall, we never felt congested or crowded. We had a photo booth and other photo areas, along with two bar areas and, even with all of those things going on, everyone moved about with lots of freedom.
An overall fantastic experience. Love you Dennis. One more daughter to go!

We had our wedding at the cathedral, and I cannot imagine a more perfect venue! It had everything I wanted: indoor church and reception areas in case of bad weather, both the church and reception area were on the same property so no one got lost in between, and both places were so beautifully decorated that I spent NOTHING on decorations (except table top decor). Dennis Spinelli is a gracious host and will answer every single question and give helpful tips from his years of experience. He even allowed a special viewing of the venue on a holiday week because that was the only time my bridesmaids were in town.
We also went with his catering from the restaurant he owns and it was just fabulous. I actually loved the food at my wedding which not many brides can say. All together, it was perfect.

The wedding was absolutely perfect. An All-In-One place. The ceremony was held in a picturesque cathedral that was breath takingly beautiful. The courtyard is beautiful. The dining/dancing rooms are perfect. The food was outstanding and the personal service of the owners and staff are remarkable. So very reasonable. So perfect that little decorations were needed. My wedding and reception at the Cathedral was just as I had dreamed of. The beautiful old
Church and the grounds with its colored lighting made me feel as though I was in Fairyland.
It was the perfect and a wonderful way to start my new life. The people at the Cathedral were
very generous with their time and help in planning it all. The attactive dining and dancing halls

I got married in the middle of the week and that saved on the price of the venue. This was important to me and my husband to be since we are both putting ourselves through school and do not have a lot of money saved up. However, because the Cathedral lends itself already to the most beautiful place possible, our wedding looked like a million bucks. Dennis, prepared the Italian buffet, (absolutely delicious) and gave an extra hand to help my grandmother who had trouble walking. He also is full of life and brought many smiles to the happiest day of our life. I would give this venue an A++ all around. Great service, food, and dancing all night. Spinelli's was an excellent choice. The venue options and porfessionalism of the planning staff was the best we interviewed.
Everything was handled with the utmost deference to the Bride
& Grooms wishes and desires.
It all went off without a hitch.
The venue was beautiful, the catering was excellent and the staff made sure that every guest was attended to and had a great time.
And the value received was 2nd to none. We still cannot beleive everything tha was in our pacjkage for the cost. We highly recomend taht anyone planning a wedding talk with Spinneli's before making a decision. It will be the best time you spend in your planning for such a momentous occasion in your and/or your loved one's life together.

My husband and I were searching for the perfect venue and came across SPINELLIS VISTRO in Boerne. From the moment we stepped into this business, all staff was amazing and always wanting to to assist in any way possible! This is a wonderful, all inclussive venue from holding an outside ceremony to a classic sit down dining experience to your wedding party staying the night in one of SPINELLIS cottages. My husband and I were married at Spinelli's Vistro in Boerne in 2011. Dennis and his staff really created a lovely, whimsical evening for us on our special day. We had our ceremony in the lovely Library Hall, with a cocktail hour to follow. Then we (AND our 150 guests) were moved out to the gorgeous patios for a candlelight dinner. The Vistro staff had the fireplace going, and we even had a violinist playing in the corner! It was perfect and oh-so-romantic! After dinner, we all headed upstairs to boogy down with the DJ for our favorite part: the disco!! : )) We had rented the suite on the property and our bridal party rented out the 7 cottages, so we all partied on the patio after most of the wedding guests had retired for the night. We ALL had such a blast, and I was in love, LOVE, with this beautiful, unique hill country charm from day one of meeting Dennis and getting the tour. My husband and I knew right away that this was the place, and that we would regret it if we didn't book for our date right then and there. Special thanks to theknot for showing us the way, and also to Dennis Spinelli and his wonderful, hardworking staff for going out of their way to ensure the perfect wedding day! I'd like to thank the owners, Dennis and Denise, for making my wedding immaculate. We didn't have to do anything. They sat down with us and went over exactly what we wanted. They have it all: food, church, and hall. They made planning my wedding fun and best of all, they were reasonable and worked within my budget. The gardens surround the patio and the wedding hall with their arbors, flowers, and majestic pecan trees. They were enchanting. We had a lovely reception outside and in the beautiful hall. Dennis took care of the food. Wow!! It was an absolutely divine wedding. We had 200 guests, and we were all seated quaintly in the cathedral. The altar was exquisite with enormous pots of greenery and white flowers and the candlit chandelier that hung down over our ceremony gave a fairytale effect. The music filled the air through hidden wall speakers and made it magical. I had 8 bridesmaids and my husband had 8 groomsmen. After that we moved to the reception hall. We had a night of fun, music and dance! What a venue! And that was not all! They had our wedding rehearsal dinner at their other property, the Spinelli's Library. What an impressive restaurant! We had 50 guests, and we had the Italian buffet for dinner, and I'm still craving it! You can't beat it!

Spinelli's had everything I wanted for our wedding...outside chapel for ceremony, inside glamour for reception. Dennis Spinelli was absolutely fabulous, going above and beyond to make us feel special before, during, and after our wedding! Coordinator Crystal was just as fabulous and always available for all my last minute questions or changes. The food was to die for, everyone LOVED it! The wedding suite was perfect for getting ready and for our kids after the ceremony. We all took advantage of staying on the property & enjoyed breakfast the next morning. THANK YOU!!

Absolutely Amazing!

Our wedding was nothing short of amazing! Spinelli's is very accommodating and the personnel was the best. I still have people texting us letting us know how wonderful the wedding was and how amazing the food was.
My husband and I loved the fact that we could rent the venue for 22 hours and stay there the night of our wedding. We would recommend this venue to anyone that is looking to have a beautiful, relaxed, and drama free wedding!!!

This is a beautiful venue. The chapel, grounds, rental houses and hall are all kept clean and have a lovely rustic elegance. The food is delicious, and the staff are wonderful, friendly people. They treated us like family. The entire staff went above and beyond to be helpful to us and our guests. So grateful! I can't wait to have a reason to have another party there!

Of all the compliments we received for our wedding, the venue was one of the top two aspects that were so highly complimented! The moment we stepped foot on Spinelli's Hill Country Cathedral, we knew it was the spot for our wedding. Beautiful 100+-year-old rock wall chapel for the ceremony, reception on same location with some recent upgraded construction, beautiful landscape, and the drive out to Comfort, TX from San Antonio provides for nice rolling hills scenery. We like to refer to it as our driveable destination wedding. Dennis and Victor were all a big help in making sure that all the details of our wedding were squared away. The day of, Victor, Tori, and other staff had the venue set up exactly to how we described it. And they were all too willing to make a couple of minor changes. Even though there was a wedding the night before, everything was clean and prepped for our wedding. I would highly recommend this place as a wedding venue! Once you set eyes on it, and it fits the overall theme of the wedding, the travel out to Comfort is very much worth it! Thank you to all at Spinelli's for helping make The Oldham Wedding a dream come true.

Spinelli's is a gorgeous 120-year-old stone Church! We fell in love with the history and uniqueness the Cathedral provides. There are so many wonderful attributes to this venue: everyone in the town of Comfort are very friendly, the Church and the reception hall are attached so nobody can get lost in between, the catering was timed perfectly, the food was fantastic, we had a great time with their photo booth, and the attendants are friendly and very accommodating! We were extremely happy with Spinelli's Cathedral! I would recommend this venue to anyone!

We had our wedding at the library and for our small wedding it was the perfect size, and very cute! We had the ceremony outdoors, which was beautiful (minus some traffic noise) and the reception upstairs. The staff catered to our day and made every last minute change I suggested. The food was excellent, we had so many compliments. I think if we changed anything, we would have stayed somewhere else besides the bridal suite.

We just got married at the Cathedral in Comfort. The venue is really incredible, and very reasonably priced if you cater with them. And in the past year they have made vast improvements. Everything is so well set up that you really don't need to decorate at all. We booked because of the venue and knew we were taking a chance on the catering. The food was fine, well served, and they had plenty. Dennis is colorful, and bordered on unprofessional, but things went well for our day. We had a couple small glitches, we paid for REAL dinner wear, but that did not include glasses. And they way they charged for drinks was different than what he told us when we booked. He told us we would get a discount on the drinks we bought when we had an open bar, vs the cash bar price. But the cash bar price was cheaper than what he told us in the beginning. So it cost us a bit more, but it was cheaper for our guests. At the end of the night I paid cash for the open bar and the bar manager seemed a bit incredulous when I asked for a receipt...that seemed odd to me. And it took him a long time to find some thing to write a receipt on. The big thing was that communicating with Dennis was weird, some days he would say he preferred emails, but then often when we would send an email, his response would be, "Call me and lets talk about it." I would totally use this venue if I had to do it again. Our wedding was October 2012.

For what you receive, the price is good.

They take care of a lot of the details, and the price is decent, keep in mind they tax, and gratuity the majority of the bill. They were good to work with, and do there best to work with your budget. I would definitely recommend them to others planning a wedding on a budget.

Brides beware.........

This place is gorgeous, but Victor, the "manager" is absolutely atrocious to work with. My emcee/coordinator was met with hostility and downright disrespect. Victor completly ignored our timeline and didn't set the tables like I wanted them. The food was absolutely disgusting. Victor has serious control issues. I asked the owner, Dennis that morning to set up tables on the patio like I was told during my initial walk through of this venue and that didn't happe. I was also told that I would be able to utilize one of the houses onsite without extra charge, that was a lie. They nickel and dime you so be aware of that. Also, 2 weeks before our wedding they sent me an $1100 charge for gratuity.....which they DID NOT DESERVE. A tip is for a service well done.....service was horrible.... We planned this wedding for 18 months and Victor almost ruined my reception. Thanks to my wonderful emcee and coordinator, he made it worth it. It seriously pains me to have to write this review, because I had such high hopes. Brides beware of Victor if you do decide to have your wedding and reception here. At least my pictures turned out gorgeous.
