Dave was the perfect DJ throughout the entire planning process and on the day. More than just playing the set list, he was so incredibly detail oriented to make sure we had exaclty the right timing for speeches, food courses, and anything else he could think of. We opted for the uplighting as well, which helped set the right moods throughout the evening. After weather forced our ceremony inside, he worked with everyone to make sure we had all of the right equipment where it was supposed to be.

Dave was absolutely the right choice for us, and we can't recommend him enough.

Expert DJ services for good price!

Dave did an outstanding job as our wedding DJ. We had a small wedding (65 people) in a unique space, and he worked with the venue staff to find creative ways to activate it. He also worked well with out live violinist who brought their own equipment, and discreetly communicated with us about important reminders throughout the night so we could let him steer events—for instance, giving everyone involved a heads up before various formal dances or toasts. We were even able to access his depth of wedding experience to inform some decisions not even related to music or sound, such as how to corral family for group photos after the ceremony. As for the music, he hit it out of the park. We came up with playlists ahead of time and Dave gave us guidance on what energy works best for different stages of a wedding. He read the room when choosing what to play next, and played every one of our "must hear" songs during a fairly short reception (we were up dancing the whole time, which isn't the norm for us!) Some bonuses that we enjoyed were the elegant customized sign with our names, and subtle uplighting to enhance the space. We could not recommend Spin Doctor more!

Your DJ is one of the most important vendor selections you can make as you plan your wedding - they ultimately control the tone of the reception, and are the greatest determining factor on whether your guests go home happy. DJ Dave had my entire reception, from ages 3 all the way through 90, on the dance floor the entire night! Guests were in their glory, singing his praises at the end of the night saying this was the best wedding they had ever been to! His equipment is state of the art, he's incredibly organized, and he ensures that all the little moments of the reception (grand entrance, first dance, cake cutting) truly fit you as a couple. Do yourself a favor and work with him! Oh, last tip, definitely order uplighting in addition to his DJ services - it transforms your venue space and adds so much to the tone of the reception.

We hired Dave for DJ service for our wedding last month. From the very first phone call we had with him, he was very helpful and professional. He gave us good advice and was very easy to work with. At the wedding, he played a good variety of music and the dance floor was always full. Countless people told us afterword that they usually don't dance at weddings, but they danced the whole night at ours. I think this was because of Dave's knowledge and experience. In addition to the DJ services, he was also the emcee and helped keep the evening running on time.

I can't recommend him enough. Do yourself a favor and book him for your wedding.

Dave is a true pro at what he does! Attentive, easy to work with and went above and beyond to have our vision come to life. We used Dave for a number of services: ceremony music, lawn games, furniture rental, photo booth and DJ. We are so thrilled with all he did before and on the day of the wedding. His recommendations before the big day were also so helpful as he is very knowledgeable about all things wedding in the Danbury area. Dave was amazing! He helped make our wedding so much fun. He helped us pick music for every single part of our wedding and he didn't miss a single beat (no pun intended but iy worked.). Every song was perfect. For a few songs we had him start up at a certain point into the song and he did it right every single time. Our guests had a great time. We aren't a crowd that does alot of dancing, (it was a small wedding only 52 guests) and I was so shocked at how many people actually got up and danced! Dave had asked us for a song list so we provided about 2 hours worth of our favorites and then gave him creative freedom for the rest of the time.
We also rented the photo booth which was a HUGE hit! He had a ton of props, and we all had so much fun with it, the kids and adults! The photobooth guest book was such great idea! Looking at everyone smiling and having a great time was so much better than just reading the same Congratulations messages over and over.
Dave is excellent at what he does, and we highly recommend him to anyone!

My husband and I chose Spin Doctor Entertainment's Mirror Photo Booth for our June 29th, 2018 wedding. This was the best decision we could've made. Dave was incredible to work with from start to finish. The mirror photo booth was truly the best idea we had. It was an absolute hit with our guests. The line was constantly busy with guests wanting to take photos with all the fun props. This is a unique and fun add on to your special event. Although all photo booths are fun and entertaining, the mirror photo booth is the best decision you could make. It will add a fun entertainment factor to your wedding or special event. The mirror photo booth is interactive too, which our guests loved! They even got the photo booth strips texted to them later that night! Dave will make the planning process easy and enjoyable and you will thank yourself for choosing Spin Doctor Entertainment for your wedding DJ or photo booth.

Amazing!!!!!

Dave was absolutely amazing. We met him while we were checking out a vendor for our wedding. We knew right then and there that he was who we wanted our DJ to be. Just by the few minutes talking to him you could just see how genuine he was and we could tell how much he loved being a DJ. We actually changed our wedding date so that he could be our DJ since he wasn’t available on the original date. Through the whole experience he was amazing. I’ve never seen so many people on a dance floor through out the whole night! Our guest loved him! We would definitely recommend Dave!! Thanks again!!

Detail-Oriented Wedding DJ with Great Energy

Dave/Spin Doctor Entertainment was fabulous to work with! He is so organized and detail-oriented, we didn’t worry about a thing on our big day. Dave offers so many unique things to personalize your special event as well – our winter wedding was made even more memorable with snowfall for our first dance and our grand entrance was spectacular with our custom entrance song. Dave Parks with Spin Doctor was the perfect choice for our big day! He is so much fun and really knows how to throw one heck of a party! Dave Dj'd our June 30, 2018 wedding. Not only did he Dj, but he also provided us with uplighting and a classic photobooth! The lighting was perfect, and all of our guests enjoyed using the photobooth, and now we get to enjoy a special photobooth scrapbook! Dave goes above and beyond to make sure that EVERYTHING, not just music goes perfectly on your special day. He became a coordinator for the day; coordinating with our photographer as well as videographer and venue to make sure that everything went as planned- he even helped us to pull off a special dance surprise! Leading up to our wedding, he worked with us and guided us through picking and deciding on music for each part of the day, as well as how we would like everything announced. Anytime I emailed Dave, he was prompt in responding and answering any question that I had! Upon walking into Dave's office, you can tell right off the bat that what he does is not just a job for him. He is truly passionate about his work, and the technology that he utilizes is amazing! We knew as soon as we first met with Dave that there would be no reason to speak to any other Dj- he was the one! We highly recommend Dave and his services, he truly helped to make our day absolutely perfect and amazing. There was never a moment where guests were not dancing- and he read the crowd so well. Spin Doctor Entertainment is well beyond a 5 star review! Dave, we love you and truly appreciate everything you did for us on our wedding day! Best decision ever

Dave at Spin Doctor was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding!
We actually changed our wedding date from 5-26 to 5-25 because we had to have him for our wedding!
He’s such a great guy and extremely
personable and energetic! He played everything we wanted and had the crowd going ALL night which is what we wanted.
He also did the uplighting which was amazing and provided a photo booth which was a HUGE hit throughout the night. Do not hesitate to book him and do it fast! We will definitely be using him again for future events and will highly recommend him to all friends, family and brides to be! This is one decision you will not regret!!!

Review for Dave the DJ

We found Spin Doctor DJ through the recommendation of our venue, the Amber Room Colonnade, who had worked with DJ Dave extensively in the past. We met with Dave several times before our wedding to plan the entire event, and we were incredibly impressed with his professionalism, attention to detail and energy.

In the planning process Dave helped us to clarify our ideas of what we liked and didn't like for music for our wedding. He worked in our requests flawlessly, and helped us by offering suggestions for parts of the ceremony or reception that we weren't sure about. When the planning was done, we had a line-up of songs for our "moments" during our wedding day that were personal and representative of us as a couple, but still worked for the energy and needs of the day.

At the wedding itself, dave did a fantastic job. Not only was he our DJ for the entire day, but he also did all of our lighting, and created and set up the perfect lounge area using couches ottomans and tables to create a venue within our venue. By giving him just an idea of what we wanted, he took our vision and made it better than we had imagined!

Dave's choice of music during the reception was spot-on. We gave him our ideas of genre for different times during the reception and he created the perfect playlist. he was also very responsive to the activity on the dance floor, an when he realized that people weren't as responsive to some types of music, he switched things up. Our dance floor was hopping the entire night! Just what we wanted!

Spine Doctors did an amazing job playing music for our wedding. They played exactly the music we wanted for both cocktail hour and the reception. I sent over a playlist for cocktail hour and it was all honored. I have heard horror stories about other vendors, but Spinn Doctors were great. They helped make our night so much fun and kept people on the dance floor all night.

Dave provided DJ and photobooth for our wedding at the Fox Hill Inn. Dave worked with our venue and photographer so our day went seamlessly and all the vendors were able to coordinate their services. During our final meeting, Dave sent off our 3 first dance songs to be edited into shorter versions. This was worth the small cost so we were able to include verses that were meaningful to us but not have the dances take up a super long time. The photobooth was a huge hit with our guests and I love going back through the Ultimate Guest Book looking back at the photos and notes from our guests. We also got a flashdrive at the end of the night with each photo that was taken. Dave was a wonderful DJ and kept our party hopping using our music choices and some of his own that fit our crowd. Our wedding was perfect and Dave a big part in making that happen!

Dave is the best! He not only was my DJ but did the uplighting and photobooth as well. I couldn't have been happier with all of the options he provided for music selection and choice of uplighting. His photobooth is also probably one of the best I've seen. He has tons of props and so many styles to choose from for the photo strips.

Dave from Spin Doctor Entertainment was the best - I am so glad we chose him to DJ our reception! People did not get off the dance floor all night and my guests still talk about the great music. Dave was helpful during the planning process, and was flexible enough to help me surprise my groom. Truly wonderful!

Having Dave as our wedding DJ was such a fantastic experience! From our first meeting with him, we knew that we wanted him to be a part of our wedding day. At our final meeting before the wedding, Dave was able to offer us really helpful advice for the best way to organize our wedding reception and he really took into consideration our venue and our desires as a couple. When preparing for the wedding, Dave made us categorize our music tastes based on what we love, like, and hate. Dave truly honored our music choices at the wedding! My husband isn't usually much of a dancer, but he was on the dance floor all night because he loved every song! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect DJ experience. Dave was amazing to work with. We planned our wedding from Virginia, but his online planning forms and quick email responses made planning a wedding from long distance a breeze. Dave had great ideas and suggestions for how to make our vision work. People continue to comment on how much fun our wedding was. At one point, I looked and the dance floor was so full that people were dancing around the edges…he made our wedding absolutely perfect! Make sure you get the photo booth –it’s a hit!

Dave was an amazing DJ and I would recommend him to anyone getting married. He has an easy to use website to help plan the music you want to play (and don't want to play). Spin Doctor Entertainment Is Simply The Best

Dave Parks / Spin Doctor Entertainment is absolutely one of the best possible DJ companies you can get for your wedding. We had a fantastic experience, and he went above and beyond in literally every single aspect of our wedding. For our ceremony, he provided a battery powered PA system that allowed both our wedding musicians and our ceremony officiant to be amplified. Our ceremony was essentially out in a field under a tree, so Dave setting up this system without a power hookup helped us out immensely. I've been to quite a few weddings where I could hear basically none of the ceremony, so I can't emphasize enough how much of a big deal this was. He also coordinated with the wedding musicians and bridal party so that everyone walked down the isle at the correct time and with the correct music. This was unexpected, and we were very grateful for him taking the effort to do this. Everything else during the cocktail hour and wedding reception went off without a hitch as well. He moved all of the events along in a timely fashion, kept things on track, coordinated all of the introductions / first dances / speeches / etc. with the relevant people, and mostly importantly kept everyone on the dance floor. There simply aren't enough good words I can say about Dave: he is a true professional, and whatever previous expectations I had about a wedding DJ he absolutely blew away. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dave / Spin Doctor Entertainment to any of my friends and family, and I can't imagine experiencing better service from anyone else.

Epic party of 2019!

Dave sparks was by fair the best DJ i have used at any event! He made my wedding the most epic wedding and of 2019! From the very beginning when we first spoke over the phone i knew he was going to be a great addition to my wedding. And as the months went on building up to the big day he made sure everything was in order and made me feel like a person not just a customer and made sure everything went to plan for my special day. From the ceremony, dancing, introductions, and music (my husbands grandmother got up and danced! Which was amazing). Great job by Dave of Spin Doctor Entertainment. He guided us through the process from our first meeting to the wedding day. Giving us great advice on music, timing, and schedule. He was in charge during the wedding and ran everything perfectly so we could just have fun! He is NOT one of those DJ's that feel like they are the center of attention, and are constantly on the mic. The custom song edits were flawless and made for great specialty dances, without being too long. Marquee Lights & Wine Barrel Tables

We initially wanted to book David Parks as our DJ for our wedding reception, but we were too late in reserving the date with him. We decided to go with Dave for uplighting and a photo booth. We couldn't be happier with the services that Dave provided. The uplighting he did at the Lounsbury House in Ridgefield, CT was amazing - both inside and outside. We have phenomenal pictures of the Lounsbury house at night - just gorgeous. We had minimal decorating done for the venue, so the uplighting was a great touch. The photobooth was a hit with our guests. We hadn't been to a wedding with a photobooth, so were a bit hesitant -- wondering if our guests would use it. Our guests loved the photobooth, and we have great pictures from it. Guests received a copy of the pictures in a plastic bookmark sleeve, and the assistant compiled a great book for us with pictures and written comments from our guests. We highly recommend Dave for uplighting and a photobooth at your wedding. In comparing products/prices of other vendors, Dave provides a high quality product, value, and the right price. We're glad we booked with Dave and Spin Doctor Entertainment!

Dave is excellent!!

We would have loved to have had him as our DJ too--our great regret was that Dave was already booked for another wedding on our date,so he just did our lighting. Have hired him before, and know that he is outstanding in his work--a true professional.

This DJ was recommended by the Amber Room and it was possibly one of the best recommendations I've ever gotten. Upon first meeting with him, it was clear that he was a professional through and through and knew exactly what he was doing. His website made planning way easier than I could have imagined and it made me think of things that I would have otherwise forgotten. He was totally down with our quirky requests and even helped put up some decorations. I would recommend him to anyone, anywhere.

We had such a great time at our wedding thanks to Dave! From our first meeting we were so impressed with everything Spin Doctor Entertainment had to offer. Besides the great music there was the photobooth, uplighting, and a bunch of other services such as lounge furniture, "dancing on a cloud", he even can help plan your honeymoon. The process he uses to keep track of the details and music we want was so convenient. He was able to play the traditional Greek music for us at the right time, made sure to have a good mix of classic wedding music and fun new music. We said from the beginning that the most important thing to us was having everyone out on the dance floor and they most definitely were. He kept everything going in a timely manner and was a lot of fun to work with!

The very first moment my (now) husband and I met David Parks we knew he would be a perfect fit for what we were looking for in a DJ. His energy and passion for his work is captivating! He drew us right in with new ideas and so much excitement for our wedding day. We also booked his photo booth package that was entirely way too much fun! The photo strips of our guests are hysterical and Dave made a custom strip design with our chosen colors, names & wedding date which we thought added that special touch. He was super fast with e-mails and phone calls! He also provided the music for our pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception & did the uplighting for our entire wedding including special attention to the wedding cake which complimented our "bling theme" perfectly. Dave walked us through how the big day would unfold. We discussed details he had brought to our attention that slipped our minds during the busy planning process. We had complete trust in his professionalism and skills the entire time. He always had an open mind and custom made song lists for us that fulfilled our wedding dreams. He truly believes that his clients are special and different in their own way. Each time we met with Dave he had great surprises and brought new options to the table that we have never seen before. We wish we could relive the whole day again! Dave is a wonderful person and super talented DJ. We appreciate his patience and flexibility to our needs. He worked seamlessly with our venue management and the photographers to help us transition from one event to the next as stress free as possible. Throughout the night Dave made adjustments where needed to maintain fluidity. He always confirmed with us what would be coming next so we could prepare in enough time. We were beyond satisfied with how he keep our guests rocking out on the dance floor until the very last second! Thank you to David Parks for all of his help to create an unforgettable night.

Our wedding would not have been the as amazing as it was without the services of the Spin Doctor. He gave us everything we asked for plus so much more. We danced the night away with all of guests when they weren't in the best photo booth I have ever seen! Picking Dave as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Dave was our DJ back in January and he was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ. He was recommended by our venue, and all of his other 5 star reviews did not disappoint! Dave ran our reception perfectly, and was able to accommodate all of our song choices as well as mix in a set of Spanish songs for our Dominican guests. We were pretty undecided about lots of the songs we wanted for each part of the ceremony and reception, but Dave was able to guide us toward our selections with confidence.

Dave kept us out on the dance floor all night and made sure that my husband and I were in the right places at the right time for cake cutting, etc. We also used Dave for uplighting and string lights over the dance floor, which added to the ambiance and our rustic decor. Tony ran our photo booth, and our guests were in and out all night! I'm glad we have all of those photo strips to document the night. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our choice in DJ!

Dave did a fantastic job for our daughter's wedding!! He is great to work with and helpful in all ways. The dance floor was "busy" the entire night and the guests had a great time.

Dave, aka the Spin Doctor, was excellent! He is friendly, engaging, communicative, creative, and an awesome DJ! We used Dave not only as our DJ, but for uplighting the venue and for our photo booth. All aspects of Dave's service was top notch. He had awesome props for the photo booth (no additional cost), he provided us with all the photos taken in the booth on a USB drive at the end of the night (no additional cost), and a few days after the event, we received an amazing photo mosaic of us created from all those photo booth photos (at no additional cost). Dave played exactly all the songs we wanted him to and none of the songs we didn't want him to play. The dance floor was packed all night and he kept the vibe going without interruptions. We highly recommend him for his excellent customer service, his top notch quality, and his affordability.

Best choice we made!

Dave is the ABSOLUTE BEST. We chose him as our DJ for our wedding reception in September of 2018 at the Candlewood Inn. We met with him twice before our wedding and he continuously assured us that we wouldn’t have to worry about anything on the day of our wedding. He said he would basically be our wedding planner… and he wasn’t kidding. He ran the show, made sure we were where we needed to be at all times, and made the entire event run so smoothly. He is unbelievably organized and detail oriented, which was a relief for a type A personality like myself. I didn’t worry about a thing. He also did a wonderful job with the music. We chose a group of songs to give him an idea of our taste and he chose the rest. I heard nothing but compliments after the wedding. People of all age groups were up there dancing, which is exactly what we wanted. We personally didn’t need/use any of it, but Dave also has an impressive amount of options for lighting, special effects, photo booths, guest books, and venue décor. Perfection!

If you’re looking for a DJ that removes stress from the wedding planning process, Dave is your guy! From our first meeting, his expertise was clear to see. His process is straightforward as he knows exactly what to ask you to understand and deliver on your vision. I never once left the dance floor and all of our guests keep telling us they’ve never been to a wedding with so many people dancing all night long and it is all thanks to Dave! My husband and I have very different music tastes but Dave managed to fit all the genres in seamlessly. Dave even went the extra mile to make a last minute edit to the mother/daughter dance to ensure the lyrics my mom wanted to hear were played.

We truly believe that a DJ can make or break your wedding reception, and Spin Doctor DJ made ours great! Having a few years experience in the wedding industry, I knew my husband and I needed a DJ who knew his stuff. Dave played a big part in making our wedding reception unforgettable.

During the planning process, working with Dave was great. He answered all emails quickly and was happy to answer all of my questions. The online organization forms his company uses helped with planning out the reception and music for the evening since I love to stay organized.

The night of our reception, Dave was fantastic! He directed the whole evening and was great at making sure we knew what to do and what was happening next. Dave did a great job of choosing music that had everyone dancing. The dance floor was packed all night!!!

Dave provided us with our music for both cocktail hour and reception, ballroom up lighting, cake up lighting, a floor monogram and "dancing on a cloud." Every detail was magnificent. Dave has top of the line system equipment and the latest and greatest in special effects. For our up lighting, we started the room of in a gorgeous teal ( one of my wedding colors) and then once the music picked up, the lights changed with the beat of the music. Our cakes looked beautiful thanks to the cake lighting Dave provided. Dave designed our floating floor monogram for us. He gave us a bunch of options to choose from so we could do it ourselves but I trusted his professional eye and I am so glad I did! The best part of the services provided by Spin Doctor DJ was by far the "dancing on a cloud" option. Our first dance was truly magical thanks to Dave.

In conclusion, our wedding would have failed to impress as it did without Dave and Spin Doctor DJ. I would recommend him to everyone......150% recommended. I promise you will not regret your decision!

We were so thrilled to have Dave as our DJ for our wedding. He did an amazing job! Our meetings with him before the wedding went great. I was really nervous about picking out music for the wedding. I wanted everyone to dance and have a great time. Dave recommended lots of great songs for us and told us about an app to help us chose even more great music. He also helped us choose really pretty lighting that made the reception space even more beautiful. The wedding reception was so much more fun than I ever thought it would be! Guests were dancing the entire time. Some of my favorite memories from our wedding day were dancing with friends and family and looking around and seeing everyone having a blast! Not just a DJ!

Dave was very helpful and made my wedding vision a reality. Not only was he an amazing DJ, but he was able to set up string lights as I wanted, and also provided barrels and table tops for a more rustic feel. We also rented a photo booth for the night- which everyone loved. He gave good insights/suggestions in the preparation process, but also supported what we wanted and how we wanted to do things. He offered a variety of music for our guests, and coordinated well with our other vendors. The night was awesome! Thanks Dave!

Dave was great! He did our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, uplighting & photobooth. At the final meeting he helped us plan every little detail, things we hadn’t even thought about! Super fast at responding to any questions & I loved the online planning form where you could easily find songs & make your own play list/do not play list. At our reception Dave even made sure to come find us for everything to make sure that we stayed on schedule. A lot of our wedding guests weren’t big dancers to begin with, but he still kept people on the dance floor all night. And the photobooth was a huge hit! We loved our photobooth book, and got a USB of all the photos plus a photobooth mosaic picture of my husband & I! Would definitely recommend!

Our winter wedding was 01/30/16 at the Heritage Resort and Conference Center in Southbury, CT. Dave was amazing from start to finish. When we initially met him at a bridal expo, I knew he was going to be great when a stranger approached us and said, “I saw you talking to Dave, and I just want to let you know that he played at my wedding a year ago and people are still talking about him”. We planned our CT wedding from Philadelphia, and Dave made it easy for us by coordinating via phone and email. He provided the lighting, music, and the photo booth, and worked directly with the other vendors so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. He also took the initiative to add lighting to the ceremony room that wasn’t previously planned, which added the X-factor to the space; it truly took our breath away. I received a call from one of the managers of the venue the day after the wedding and he said he’d never seen the ceremony and reception rooms look so good! During the reception, Dave kept the dance floor hopping the entire night with an incredible mix of music that catered to all of our guests. The photo booth was a huge hit and we loved looking at the guest book after the wedding to see everyone’s pictures and messages. We had a winter wonderland theme and Dave made it snow for our first dance…it was amazing! We had so many people come up to us after the wedding to tell me how much fun they had. Thanks, Dave!

Dave was great right from the start! He gave us all of our options and offered us a lot of really awesome deals - he offers a lot of pretty nifty extras if you're looking for that little extra special touch or surprise without being cheesy. We had a lot of quirky ideas mixed in with the traditional and he went with us and completely accommodated everything. His tool for creating your song request lists is definitely a big plus if you really want to be able to customize your playlist (which is EXACTLY what we wanted!).

Dave kept everything running and managed to fit everything in even when our reception started a bit later than planned (our pictures ran a bit late! :-P) - and even when we handed him a 20 minute slideshow, he made it work! Not only that, he continuously came to find us and keep us informed of whatever was going on and check in to make sure he wasn't missing anything we really wanted (there was just one song that we'd really wanted to dance to but unfortunately couldn't get away from the table we talking with when it was playing to make it in time, but that's our fault for not telling him we particularly wanted to dance to that one!).

Thanks Dave for helping make our day even more memorable and special! Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a DJ!

Dance floor was rocking

We highly recommend Dave and the Spin Doctor team. Dave did a great job of keeping people on the dance floor while not doing too much on his end! He did an amazing job playing some older songs for the parents/grandparents to playing the new tunes for the younger crowd. The dance floor was rocking all night! We highly recommend getting the photo booth that Dave’s team offers. It was a huge hit after receiving feedback from our guests. Dave’s ability to custom a couple key songs throughout the night was an awesome addition as well. Dave got there a couple hours before the ceremony to make sure everything was setup exactly how he wanted it, which eased our mind a lot. The preparation he showed was top notch. If looking for a DJ, look no further than the Spin Doctor!

David Parks from Spin Doctor Entertainment is hands down the best DJ we have ever seen and worked with for any event. His organization, creativity, selection of music, and photo booth were incredible and fun! I think we lost half our guests during the night at the photo booth (but can't wait to see the pictures)! Totally recommend the up lighting for your venue. Dave made the process so easy and was extremely prepared up until the day of the wedding that when the actual day came the reception ran so smoothly. My friends and family were so impressed. He consistently let us know what was happening without a worry. He made it fun and lively and his timing was always right on point. Best dj ever!

If I could give Dave more than 5 stars I would. Best DJ service around. He surpassed all my our expectations by miles and was extremely knowledgeable during the whole wedding planning process. The day of our wedding he made sure everything was perfect and played the best music. We had countless people come up to us asking who our DJ was because they have never experienced a better DJ. Dave has so many cool add ons we only added the magic mirror Photo Booth & dancing on a cloud. I wish I took advantage of more of his equipment because everything was just AMAZING. I wish I can re live our wedding night again just to be able to work with Dave! He's the BEST! you certainly will NOT regret picking him to DJ your wedding.

Dave was one of the best choices for our wedding. We booked him about a year in advance and he gave us access to an online portal where we filled out specific wedding details and song choices. He was actually the one who came up with our timeline and it could not have been more perfect. We shared that timeline with our planner, caterer, and photographer. Dave is not only the MC of your wedding, but he also makes sure that people are on the dance floor and that things run smoothly and on time. He had great suggestions for how to start off the wedding (in terms of what kind of music) and what songs to end with. There was always someone on the dance floor. Additionally, we wanted the photobooth option for our big day. The photobooth attendant that came with Dave was great! The most important thing that Dave did was that our venue did not have a sound system where our ceremony was. Dave was there 2 hours before our ceremony start time and actually drove to Home Depot to get the equipment he needed for the sound. On the back end, he definitely said it was hectic. But none of our guests, family, and ourselves noticed at all. I honestly don't think our wedding would have come together without Dave. He is a MUST HAVE! Additionally, I now know why he has nothing under 5 star reviews.

Dave from Spin Doctor Entertainment did a fabulous job at my wedding on April 23, 2016!
From the very first meeting, we knew that Dave was the perfect fit for us. He was so easy to work with and helped us tremendously. As a bride who really had no idea what she was doing, Dave eased all of my concerns and assured me that everything would run smoothly, which it did! We really wanted our reception to be a dance party, and that it was. Everyone danced all night and the music was perfect. The photo booth was also a big hit! Dave also took care of our ceremony and cocktail hour music. I had a hard time choosing some important songs like bride entrance, bridal party recessional, etc and Dave had perfect song recommendations for everything. I wouldn't want anyone else to run my wedding entertainment and I would recommend Spin Doctor a million times over!

We knew that Dave was the only DJ we wanted for our wedding. Our guests had a great time with the music and the photo booth.

Dave from Spin Doctor was great. He spent a lot of time with us at our meeting, had great suggestions and custom edited some of our song choices. Dave kept the evening flowing and everyone had a great time. The uplighting was a great add-on, and we got so many compliments on how great it made the room look. Dave was super easy to work with and answered any questions within a day. ~Melissa and Eddie 3.14.15~

Not only is Dave a great guy, he’s a great DJ to have at your wedding too!

Because of COVID and the number of guests we were having at our wedding, we weren’t able to do a traditional reception with lots of dancing. Instead, we had just the first dance and parents dancing, with an “after party” after the reception with dancing for just 25 of us. We had come up with an idea to do a trivia game, and Dave ran with it. He had an entire set up made up with buzzers and microphones fo the teams and a whole book of questions for the teams to answer. Dave was accommodating, flexible, and FUN! Everyone had such a great time and couldn’t think of one bad thing that night. He hyped everyone up before the introductions, continuously checked in on me/us all night to make sure we had what we needed and to update us on the timeline of the night and we just had so much fun. The after party was so much fun - it was about an hour(?) of nonstop dancing with the best selection of songs. OH!!! THE PHOTO BOOTH WAS INCREDIBLE! We had the mirror booth for COVID reasons and all of our guests LOVED it! They thought it was the most genius way to have fun at our wedding and it was used all night. We also got a book full of each photo taken in front of the mirror and it’s just a great ‘gift’ for us to have of our guests and wedding. HIRE DAVE, he’s amazing!

Absolutely Fantastic!

I highly recommend Dave as the DJ for your wedding! He was friendly, professional, and helpful to work with both leading up to the wedding and at the wedding. He gave us excellent suggestions for songs and coordination ideas via video calls leading up the wedding. We had some of our songs custom-edited through him, and they came out perfectly. At the wedding, he was fantastic! Guests of all ages absolutely loved the music and were dancing all night on a full dance floor. Timing for introductions, first dance, parent dances, bouquet and garter toss were all seamless and exactly as planned. He also went out of his way to make sure that we were happy and taken care of throughout the night. He is the only reason that my husband and I got our dinners that night, as he let us know when they were clearing the food away and then arranged for our meals to be delivered to the bridal suite. At the end of the evening, he also asked if there were any songs left that we absolutely wanted to dance to, which was perfect because the day goes by in such a blur and he made sure that we got to dance to the songs that we really wanted to dance to. Dave was our DJ as well as provided our photo booth, up lighting and lounge furniture for our wedding on 5/2/15. From our first meeting he was extremely professional, and really went out of his way to make my husband and I feel comfortable. The quality that really set him apart from others we had met was the passion he had for his work. You can tell within a minute of talking with him that he genuinely enjoys what he does, and he is incredibly knowledgeable about it. He is constantly upgrading his equipment to make sure he has the newest technology for your wedding and continually adding new features or items to enhance your day. We gave Dave full control over the music at our reception and our guests had a phenomenal time. He really knew how to read our guests and get everyone involved. Our lounge furniture and up lighting looked amazing…it was perfect. Dave took my vision for the layout of the lounge furniture and designed an incredibly beautiful space that my guests were in awe over. The photo booth was the star of the night, and my guest loved how they were able to get a strip for each person as well as email the strip so they could instantly share on their social networks. Our day of coordinator also loved working with him and said he was very professional and flexible when any last minute changes arose. Dave really made our wedding an incredible event and we highly recommend him!!!

Dave @ Spin Doctor is not only a good DJ but a good guy. He is personable, energetic and totally knows how to read a room. He completely took control of the wedding reception which is exactly what the Bride needs in order to relax and have a GOOD TIME. My guests (which ranged from mid-twenties to mid-sixties) LOVED the music. They were on the dance floor all night which is exactly what my husband and I were hoping for. We had an eclectic mix of music, classic rock, disco, top 40's, Spanish/salsa, hip hop.... it was amazing. I cannot thank Dave enough, to this day I still have people telling me they had the best time!! Thanks Dave!!!!

Perfect All-In Wedding Entertainment

I can't say enough great things about Dave and his services. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him for the few months leading up to the wedding. He was organized and responsive, fun to talk to, and honest with his suggestions when solicited, but never pushed on anything. For the day-of, the uplighting was beyond beautiful at creating an intimate setting during dinner and then a fun upbeat setting afterwards. The music was top notch - almost every demographic of our guests were on the dance floor. Older folks, younger folks, groups that have never met before were dancing and singing together at all different genres of music. Most of the party was dancing within 15 minutes of getting into the reception and it never felt forced. There was always at least several groups on the dancefloor throughout the night. The photobooth was also a hit for all groups and provided a nice but fun outlet if you wanted to take a quick break from dancing. Dave also helped prep our officiant since it was his first time, and helped us know what to expect for our grand entrance, ceremony processional, timing, etc since those can always be a little awkward if you don't know what you're doing. Lastly, Dave's custom cut songs were AMAZING; I truly was blown away when I heard them for the first time. You know when it's a mediocre wedding your guests will just say "beautiful wedding"... our guests are still texting us to say specific details that they loved, most of which are specific to Dave as his services truly helped to bring our dream wedding to life.

After seeing many great reviews of Spin Doctor everywhere, I was convinced to book them as the DJ for my wedding. And, sure enough, I was not disappointed. Dave was INCREDIBLE. Not only did he have qualities to keep the crowd entertained the whole night, but he was extremely helpful throughout the planning. Having no experience to wedding planning, I did not know anything about the music played at wedding celebrations. Dave gave excellent recommendations and guided us through the order of the wedding. He was filled with energy every time we met and couldn't have picked a better entertainer.

Dave was fantastic! He kept all of our guests on the dance floor and we received tons of compliments on his services. He made the ceremony run smoothly and all of the guests enjoyed themselves. The one thing that upset us was that he didn't play the songs from our "Love It" list. Be sure to mention it to him if you'd really like something played.

Dave from the Spin Doctors DJ is a great DJ who knows what he is doing. I booked Dave for my 2010 summer wedding and I am delighted to have done so. Dave was attentive to all my questions and concerns from start to finish, he offered helpful advice and was quick responding to emails and phone calls. He kept the party going all night long and offered very affordable rates including unique add-on such as uplighting. He knew what type of music to play at what times and didn’t play anything (i.e. guests’ music requests) opposing our playlist without asking us first. My only regret is that Dave was not paying full attention when my bridal party and I walked outside (where my ceremony was held) to begin the ceremony, someone had to get his attention. However, if I were to do it all over again I would request Dave as my DJ.

Perfect DJ for an active dance floor

Dave was the best DJ and we are so happy we hired him for our wedding! He had everyone out on the dance floor at all times and had a portal that was so easy to use to recommend songs we liked, loved, and hated. He really set the tone for the whole night and we all had a great time. He also has so many add on options to choose from. We opted for overhead string lights that looked like we were dancing under the stars and also added on an audio guestbook. We even received all of those recordings the night of our wedding which I was not expecting to get so fast! The best part of our night was dancing with our friends and family and he really made everyone come together and have the best time. We really couldn't be more happy we hired Dave!
