Highly Reccomend

We have nothing but fantastic things to say about Spike Events, after hiring them for our wedding. From the first phone call we made inquiring information -Spenser has been extremely informative, friendly, and timely. The planning of music, wedding timeline, photobooth details and more - was made easy to understand and determine with him. He was always right there with an answer to any of our questions or concerns, making us feel confident with how our wedding will go. When he and Ashley arrived to setup for the night, they naturally became part of our event. We felt like we had known him for a while! While he was setting up his equipment, he even helped out this anxious Bride by updating me if it was raining outside or not. "It's drizzling, but it's not going to last, don't worry!" His positive attitude was so great. (Also, he was right. The rain did not stick around!) Ashley did a great job at the Photobooth, making sure everything was in order and everyone was having a great time.. Spike Events shows sincere care in wanting to make your special day what you want it to be.

The Best Wedding

Our guests have described our wedding as the best they have ever been to, and so much of that is thanks to Spenser. From start to finish, the music was absolutely perfect. The dance floor was packed all night, the transitions were seamless, and every song choice kept the energy high. Spenser read the crowd flawlessly and created an atmosphere that was fun, elegant, and unforgettable. The professionalism, communication, and attention to detail throughout the entire process made us feel completely at ease on our big day. In addition the uplighting brought an even more fun vibe and complimented our decor perfectly. We also got a Photo Booth that was a huge hit all night. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and would recommend them to anyone looking to have an amazing, unforgettable wedding.

Great DJ Service

Spike events was out wedding DJ for a 105 person wedding at Blackrock. They did a great job coordinating sounds for our in-site ceremony and they did a great job keeping the energy going during the reception. Great at reading the crowd to keep people engaged on the dance floor. Super responsive and very easy to work with.

Spike events is the best!

We had the After The Tone Phone Guestbook through Spike Events at our wedding, and we are SO grateful that we did! Not only did the vintage style ivory phone elevate the space (it's gorgeous!), but it made for a really fun activity and photo op for our guests. The absolute best part is that we now have 15 minutes of high quality voice messages from our beloved friends and family on our wedding day. It is an absolutely precious gift that we will treasure forever.

Spenser and Ashley are a pleasure to work with. I have known both Spenser and Ashley since high school, and they have consistently been two of the kindest and most responsible and respectable people I've known. They work hard to give their clients the very best experience and it really shows. I am so proud of them and their flawless business operation! And I am so grateful and proud to be their friend. Spenser and Ashley, thank you so much for your friendship, putting the cherry on top of our wedding day with After the Tone, and last but certainly not least, putting our recording on vinyl with two beautiful photos from our wedding day. Everything we could have hoped for and more!

We cannot say enough incredible things about Spenser. From the first initial phone call to the communication throughout the process as well as his patience, his calm and efficient demeanor put me at ease and he was attentive and receptive to our music preferences with the use of questionnaire but also was able to assess and consider the vibe of the crowd and put his own spin on the playlist which was an absolute hit and had so guests go on the dance floor. The Photo Booth was an absolute hit as well as well as the audio guestbook. I wholeheartedly recommend Spike Entertainment!

Best Wedding DJ!!

Spenser was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding DJ! He sent us a thorough form to fill out explaining our music preferences and the playlist he made for our reception was almost exactly like the one we’d made ourselves. He was an excellent communicator and helped us get through the day seamlessly, from getting our officiant miked up to tracking down our parents and friends before the speeches to let them know they were on standby. He even sent one of my friends to find me outside when my grandma’s song was about to play- truly above and beyond. We were so happy to have him be a part of our big day and would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a super professional, personable and kind wedding DJ!

Great DJ to work with!

Spenser was so great to work with! He made it easy to collaborate and on our wedding day we didn’t need to worry about anything. He had it all covered and everything flowed seamlessly. He also kept the dance floor packed all night! Highly recommend!

great experience renting from spike events!

We rented our audio guestbook for our wedding from Spike Events and it was a huge hit! The rotary phone looked so beautiful with the rest of our decor, and our guests had so much fun leaving us messages all night long. After the wedding, we were able to listen back to the recordings, make a couple of minor edits, and then they put all of the recordings on a custom vinyl for us! The vinyl has a custom sticker with our names and wedding date and location. It is the absolute best "guestbook" we could have asked for. We're so grateful that we worked with Spike Events to create this beautiful, fun keepsake!

Couldn’t have asked for better!

My husband and I chose Spenser as the DJ for our wedding and we truly could not have had a better experience. Spenser was so helpful and so professional the entire way through. We knew from our first video call with him that he was the one we wanted to hire. We had a backyard wedding and his suggestions as far as timeline kept everything running smoothly - he even went to grab a knife from the caterers so we could cut our cake! We felt he went above and beyond during the planning process. His music selections were fantastic and kept the dance floor packed all night. Our guests had a fantastic time! We would 100% use or recommend Spike Events again!

Highly recommend!

We used Spike Events for an open-air photo booth at our wedding, and it was one of the highlights of the evening! Everyone had so much fun using the photo booth and all the props. Spenser was so helpful to work with. He was very responsive from day 1 and helped us get exactly what we wanted in terms of the perfect background and best layout for our photo strip. We loved getting all the photos digitally as well afterwards in order to save everything for us to keep enjoying. It was a great decision to go with Spike Events. Highly recommend.

Amazing, fun, and the best!

We didn't actually meet the Spike team live and in person until just about the day of our wedding. Were we worried? Absolutely not. They are so responsive, so competent, so confident, so relaxed that they truly put us at ease every single step of the way. They took into consideration our music taste, the average age of our invitees (which included a spread from 3 to 93!), and how to handle hearing problems. They expertly ran the evening, made each moment special, and adapted quickly and efficiently to changes due to Covid restrictions and historical building quirks. And of course, our guests LOVED the music -- and our photographer, a veteran of many weddings, even complimented the music choice! -- and the photobooth. The photobooth is my favorite part: the Spike team made it feel so special for our guests and we have a gorgeous series of fun photos now.

Experienced, knowledgeable, responsive DJ

Working with Spike Events was one of the easiest processes with our wedding planning process. Spenser was responsive and professional every step of the way. He showed up earlier than he said he would, which was a huge relief to not have anything to worry about.

Spenser made sure to keep us in the loop on all of the timing during our reception and was very go with the flow when our coordinator wanted to delay the dances. I would recommend Spike Events if you are looking for a good dj!

They're amazing!

Although my fiance and I had to cancel due to covid-19, Spenser was amazing to work with! He's very professional, listens to you, and very responsive. He was very understanding with the constant changes. If we decide to do a reception later on, he's exactly who we are going through!

Spenser/Spike Entertainment is absolutely AMAZING! Spenser is extremely easy to communicate with and was so accommodating to all of the request I as the bride had. He not only played all the songs we asked him to play but he added in ones that all of my guests loved too. Our dance floor was full the ENTIRE night and we had such amazing feedback from our guests. DJ Services Were Outstanding!!!

Music was fantastic!!! Everyone was dancing and had an amazing time. Spenser played all our requests and made our wedding a giant party. The photo booth was soo much fun to use as well. Everyone had a turn and it was a fun experience.

I mean if we could give more starts we would! Spencer was the DJ for our wedding and he was amazing! The music he played was totally our style and everyone had an amazing time dancing the night away. Listen if you go with any other photo booth YOU ARE CRAZY, Spike Entertainment is who to go with. Interacts with the crowd, enjoys the people/guest. And the only stress free vendor I dealt with. Spenser was so great to work with and I would HIGHLY recommend using his services for any party. He was really quick responding to my emails and even customized an adorable photo strip for us. Choosing Spike Entertainment (Spenser) to be the DJ and provide the Photo Booth for our wedding was one of the BEST decisions we made throughout our wedding planning process. Spenser is professional, punctual, extremely easy to work with, and has very competitive prices. We met with him several times in-person and via conference call throughout the planning process. Each time he was well prepared and provided a lot of great recommendations, but at the same time was very attentive to our feedback and specific requests. He had all of our wedding guests having a blast on the dance floor from when it opened to when it closed (including a couple “One More Song!” chants). We received many compliments from wedding guests on the DJ and music that was played. From a Photo Booth perspective – Spenser and his assistants have an amazing process built. While Spenser is DJ-ing the assistants are manning the photo booth – helping to organize props and set up the guest book. They made sure the guests were having a great time in the photo booth, and everyone loved the selection of props that were offered!! The pictures are very high quality and the Photo Booth itself is extremely professional looking. The quality of partnership you will get when working with Spike Entertainment is unparalleled. We highly recommend selecting Spike Entertainment as both your DJ and Photo Booth provider!!

Spenser did an AMAZING job! A week before the wedding my husband and I decided a last minute change in our first dance, we wanted to do a remix of a few songs. Spenser was able to make a mix for us (in three days) and it came out perfect! We have heard nothing but great things from the guests of such a good job he did! I would recommend him to anyone!

Spike Entertainment provided the DJ and photo booth services for my 50th birthday party. Spenser and his assistant arrived early and had the photo booth set up by the time I arrived an hour in advance of the party start time. Spenser spun the tunes while his assistant manned the photo booth. Both were professional and considerate. Spenser had clearly read my play list and notes closely and respected my wishes. He played almost every song on my play list and filled in with others consistent with my taste in music. The photo booth pictures came out well. I would hired Spike Entertainment again in a heartbeat.

Largest variety of props I've seen from a photo booth at a VERY reasonable price. Everything went seamlessly and at the end of the night we received a photo album with everyone's photo's from the night.

Don't waste your money anywhere else. Book Spike Entertainment for your wedding, you're making a great decision!

When we first began planning for our wedding, we knew that we should consider having a photo booth. We have been to several weddings with photo booths before, and knew that they could be a lot of fun for guests. But, when it came time to find a photo booth vendor, we were disheartened. So many vendors seemed to be charging so much money for booths that offered basically nothing. It was hard to feel confident that we would actually be adding something worthwhile to our wedding. So, we tabled the photo booth idea and figured that we would spend the money on something else.

Towards the end of our planning process, when it became clear that we would have the money available, we revisited the photo booth idea. We found Spenser at Spike, and boy were we glad that we did!

Honestly, Spenser's photo booth was the best one that either of us have ever seen. The setup was professional-looking and simple to use, even (perhaps especially?) for wedding guests who had had a few drinks. The props he brought were a hit, and people had a great time with them. So many hilarious photos came out of that photo booth that we will treasure! They showed a fun side of our guests and of our party that we would just never have been able to capture otherwise. Several of our guests commented that it was their favorite part of the evening.

Spenser was easy to work with and totally helpful throughout. He worked with us to make a photo strip design that looked great and that complemented the rest of our wedding style. He saved physical copies of all the photos we were in, and he quickly had the rest of the photos online for us to see and download. We really could not have been happier with everything. And frankly, the pricing is very competitive, especially for the quality of the experience that you get.

I highly recommend Spenser from Spike's Entertainment for your photobooth. He was fun and easy to work with. The prices are very competitive and reasonable. All our guests had so much fun with all the props. Spenser even got us during the reception to remind us that we haven't even taken photobooth pics of just us. That was sweet and very attentive. Wedding was a blast, the addition of the photobooth was awesome. As soon as cocktail hour was over till the last dance it was packed. Arrangements leading up to the wedding were very professional. Spenser was an excellent DJ. He was very attentive to our needs and very professional. He had us fill out a packet where we filled out all the info to make our night run smooth and we got to listen to all of our favorite songs! We also rented the photobooth which made the night so much fun! He is very reasonably priced and I was extremely impressed with the quality of his work! Highly recommend :)

Spencer was a pleasure to work with and the photobooth an excellent experience for all guests. I highly recommend this vendor. The cost was extremely reasonable for the experience. Spencer was responsive, professional and very easy to work with.

Spike Entertainment provided the best photo booth we have ever seen. We have been to quite a few weddings recently and have seen photo booths at them all. When we saw Spike Entertainment’s booth, we knew we had to have it. It was unique, simple to use, and the company was a pleasure to work with. They were on top of everything from photo strip design to even helping us with a few unrelated wedding questions we had. I could go on and on about our wonderful experience, but there’s no need. Spencer from Spike Entertainment was extremely helpful when setting up the music for our wedding. He helped us organize the timeline and made great suggestions surrounding the timing of the events. He answered every question that we had promptly and provided us with great suggestions.
We left the selection of music during the wedding to his discretion with only some basic input. His mix was just about perfect for the mix of ages and people that we had. The music for the reception went without a hitch and Spencer was a great help in keeping the night moving and coordinating each portion of the reception even when the timing of things was changed on the night of the reception.

Everyone young and old thoroughly enjoyed the photo booth at the wedding. They had so much fun with it and went back for seconds! Great idea for any event. Would highly recommend Spike Entertainment to add that extra "spark of excitement" to your next event.

We hired Spike Entertainment for a very special occasion, our daughter's end of cancer treatment celebration. The music provided by the DJ was exactly what we asked for and more. The photo booth was enjoyed by every age group at the party and provided keepsake memories we will cherish always. We are happy that Spike Entertainment made this special evening one we will never forget! I would definitely recommend Spike to my friends.

Spike Entertainment is awesome and affordable!!! My event was suppose to be a wedding but the groom ran off. But I called up Spencer and he pulled off an awesome photo strip for a birthday party last minute! I would definitely recommend Spike Entertainment!!

Spenser was great to work with! Professional and knows what you want! Very helpful with choosing the background color, design and font. Awesome booth and props; everyone loved it! They provide you with doubles of all the pictures that night which is great memories to keep! Cant go wrong here!

We were so happy with the photobooth at our wedding! Spencer did an amazing job with the design for our photo-strips and so many of our guests complimented their design. He was great to work with. At the wedding, Spencer was helpful and professional. The props provided were awesome and everyone had a lot of fun with them. The booth was easy to use and everyone really enjoyed it. We would definitely recommend Spike Entertainment. Thanks helping for make our wedding special.

Having a photo booth at our wedding made all the difference in our big day. Weddings can be somewhat tradition, but a photo booth can get everyone involved. Our guests had a blast using props, piling in groups of people, and making ridiculous faces with evidence of their great night in an instant photo strip to take home. Everyone needs a photo booth at their next event! (I highly recommend SPIKE ENTERTAINMENT! Don't forget to order a 3rd copy of all the photos taken at your event.)

I chose Spike Entertainment for my wedding after being impressed by their performance at a wedding I attended last year. The DJ, Spenser, was so unbelievably easy to work with. My now husband and I were a bit unorganized, but Spenser was patient and guided us through the whole process. The wedding day on its own can be overwhelming, but Spenser did all that he could to make it easy and fun for the two of us. We chose a package with the photo booth, and it was a hit! The best part was the photo album we got at the end of the night with written notes and picture strips from our guests. I highly recommend!!
