I Recommend Renting Tent from Them
We worked with Revelry Event Collection/Sperry Tents Seacoast to rent a 46x106 sailcloth tent, along with chairs, tables, a round bar, and several other pieces for our August North Shore wedding. Everything they provided was beautiful and elevated the entire event. The tent and décor created such an inviting, memorable atmosphere—it truly transformed the space into something special. I highly recommend working with them! -

Great quaity, great service
We had a wonderful experience with Exeter Events & Tents for our wedding. They were extremely helpful with providing me estimates for chairs and linens. We were able to book a year out and change our chair number just a couple weeks out from our wedding. It worked perfect for us with those last minute RSVPs waiting to come in! They dropped off all the chairs and were scheduled to pick back up! -

High-quality rentals, tons of choices, excellent value
We rented dinnerware and ceremony benches from Exeter for our Aug 2019 wedding. They were so easy to work with - they have a ton of choices, and gave us a lot of advice to make sure we hadn't forgotten anything. Everything was perfect and delivered on time. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again for another event! -

Turned a Field into a Wedding Wonderland
Exeter Tents swept in when another company I booked began to fall through the cracks a month before our wedding. I still cannot believe I was able to get almost everything I requested from the previous company and kept my cost nearly identical. Lynsie was amazing to work with and guided me through the booking process quickly and efficiently. I do not know what I would have done if my rentals from the other company had never shown up. Exeter Tents will be a company I recommend to anyone for any type of event! Everything was beautiful and our guests loved how gorgeous the tent and rentals were! -

Highly recommend!! We used Exeter Events & Tents to rent pretty much EVERYTHING for our backyard wedding in June - tent, lights, dance floor, tables, chairs, flatware, dishware, glassware, grills, etc. They were extremely responsive, answered my many many questions with no impatience at all, and had so much inventory available to choose from. We got a sailcloth tent which looked SO beautiful - our guests were commenting all night - and the cafe lights were the perfect soft lighting that set such a nice mood. Quality of everything was great, and the guys that came to set up and take down in the blazing heat were awesome as well- they work incredibly hard! All in all, great company that I would definitely use again for a future event. -

We had a mostly DIY wedding at the Seacoast Science Center that required working with lots of different vendors, and Exeter Events & Tents was instrumental in helping everything go smoothly. I can't say enough about how responsive and helpful our coordinator, Emily, was. We needed to rent all the chairs, tables, linens, dance floor, etc., for our wedding, and her familiarity with our venue was invaluable in helping us to understand what we needed and we could pass on. She responded so quickly to my calls and questions, even when our wedding was still months away. They were incredibly flexible with last-minute changes in our numbers, they communicated well with our wedding coordinator, and were overall just wonderful to work with. -

Exeter Tents was one of the easiest parts (on our end at least) planning our wedding. Emily Varn is a rockstar- she was responsive, kind, helpful, flexible, and always tried to work within our budget. She went over the the space herself to measure it for us... now that is amazing service!!! I would recommend Emily and Exeter Tents to anyone and happy that we worked with them :) -

Exeter was truly a pleasure to work with! They had a great selection of items and combination choices. I used them for my tent, chairs, linens, lights, and dance floor. The staff were professional and helpful when they showed us how to use the heaters and take off/put on the side walls of the tent, and the set-up and break-down were on time.
Emily was my representative at the company and she was fabulous! She was extremely responsive and professional. I also appreciated her honesty and that she did not try to up-sell me on items that were not needed for my wedding. Great Job! -

Exeter Events and Tents in Newmarket, NH is a vendor that our venue, Josias River Farm in Ogunquit, Maine, worked exclusively with. I was given absolutely amazing service from start to finish! I met with Emily Varn over a year before my wedding day and she was professional and speedy with every question and need I had EVERY time! By the end of my experience with Exeter Events and Tents, Emily felt more like a girlfriend that I was looking to for opinions, than just another vendor. I almost felt guilty not inviting her to the wedding! The products we rented and received were just as good as the service! From the beautiful HUGE sail cloth tent, to my pride and joy farm tables, everything was top notch! No issues with delivery and pickup...everything was where it needed to be, when it needed to be. Great discounts for early booking, which makes renting more very easy! This company is impeccably run with a true knowledge of how to throw an events! I will only every recommend Exeter Events to anyone looking to throw a great party!

Exeter Tents was amazing!! We hired them for our wedding in Hampton, and they provided our tent and all rentals. We had a very unique setup, and they sent someone out twice to help us configure the best spot for the tents to be installed. We made a ton of changes to our order throughout the process, and our coordinator Lauren C was incredibly helpful. The day of the setup and breakdown went extremely smoothly, and the tent looked amazing. Can't thank you guys enough! Definitely consider Exeter for your next event, I'm so glad we did! -

I cannot say enough good things about Exeter Events and Tents! I was planning a wedding on a farm in New Hampshire from Pennsylvania. The area for the tent was very tricky. Emily and all the office staff were extremely helpful and flexible. They walked me through the entire process, making great suggestions and always being so patient. The crew that came to set up the tent were amazing and such a nice group of guys. Exeter Events and Tents made this such a wonderful experience, I highly recommend them. -

We used Exeter Events & Tents for the linens and a beautiful wine barrel bar at our wedding. Their wedding and event consultant, Emily Varn, was SO helpful throughout the linen process. She gave us all the necessary information and also gave us her professional and personal opinion on various items, which was greatly appreciated. The company as a whole was easy to work with and dropped off & picked things up in a timely manner. We could not have been happier with the way the linens and wine barrel bar looked on our big day! -

If you are considering having an outdoor wedding or need any sort of rental, hire Exeter Events & Tents. Emily assisted with the rentals for our wedding ceremony and reception, including a sailcloth tent, lighting, dance floor, tables, chairs, linens, china, and flatware. We also rented a generator for the wedding's power needs. Throughout the whole process, from the very first meeting nine months before the wedding to the set-up and clean-up of the rentals, we were extremely happy with the service and products. Emily was amazing to work with. She responded to emails quickly, usually within a few hours. She is so knowledgable, nice, and has great ideas. She worked with us to add last-minute additions onto the order, including fans and tent sides in case of rain. She's also very flexible and made changes to the order several times over the course of wedding planning. Emily worked with us to create a layout for inside the tent and also edited that several times via email for us. Emily was just so great to work with!
Exeter Events & Tents delivered everything a few days before the wedding and they showed us how to add/remove sides from the tent and run the generator. The dance floor, tables, chairs, and bar were all set up according to the tent layout Emily created. They were professional, respectful, and efficient during the set-up and breakdown.
We highly recommend Exeter Events & Tents. -

EXETER TENT MADE MY WEDDING DREAMS A REALITY!!!!!! We had both cocktail hour and reception at my parent's ocean front property. We put a beautiful sail tent up on the beach! My family and I haven't thrown a wedding before, and had no idea how to transform their house into a wedding venue. With the help of EMILY (PLEASE, REQUEST HER) we had the wedding of a lifetime! She was so incredibly responsive and helpful, at all times. She also thought of everything! For example, she was worried we would blow our power ( large house, lots of cafe lighting, pro dj set) and recommended a back up generator. We reluctantly rented one, and guess what? We lost power right before guests arrived and thankfully we had that generator to save the day!!! We also were skeptical about needing sides to the tent...and guess what? The beach was so windy we wouldn't have survived without them! The list is endless when it comes to ways Emily and Exeter saved the day! Also, the way the packed all linens, stem ware, glass ware, plates, ect. was SO ORGANIZED it made the caterer's lives so easy!!!! LOOK NO FURTHER! If you are willing to spend money for FLAWLESS EXECUTION, then you have your company! -

All of our rental equipment needs were not only met, it was competitively priced and they were very flexible. Our venue had specific time requirements and they were more than willing to come out, help with set up and assure that all of the equipment was broken down and taken away within the requirements of the venue. can not say enough wonderful things about this team! As an event and wedding coordinator I work with a lot of rental companies and their set up crew and I was BLOWN AWAY by the service I received from Emily in customer service and from Jeff upon delivery and set up. Emily re vamped our order and tent layout more times than I can count and she did so with so much ease and never once made us feel like we were being a bother. I arrived on scene the morning of the event to Jeff. He was full of energy, smile and so very polite. Jeff was ready and willing to do anything to ensure we had everything we needed, where we needed it and he even stayed to help but up sides (which weren't in the original plan) since we were battling some crazy winds. If I could have Jeff help me set up every event I would be thrilled! I would recommend Exeter tent with team Emily and Jeff over and over again for any and all of your rental needs! Exeter tent rental has been a dream come true! Having a backyard wedding can be stressful and a lot of decisions go into what to rent and I could not have done it without Exeter! I changed my order so many times since my mind changed so many times throughout our 7 month engagement and planning, and every time they gave great advice, and a load of patience. Lynsie was the employee we worked with mostly, and she was always kind and flexible. We met with her in person at the showcase store in Exeter, and she was so helpful and great. Everytime I emailed and called to ask a question or change something, she answered promptly and never made me feel like an annoying indecisive bride!!! Thank you Exeter! We cannot wait for our day to be here and are glad you are a part of it.

Where to start? Working with Ashley from Exeter was an absolute dream. I changed my order at least a dozen times and Ashley remained patient and flexible throughout the process.
I found Exeter during my hunt for clear top tents. Quality clear tops are hard to come by and can be very expensive. Not only did I end up renting two tents from the company at a reasonable rate, they also provided a variety of lights and furniture for one stop shopping. We were dealing with a very tricky space, and the majority of the other vendors said that it could not be done. Luckily, Exeter was able to work some magic. We wanted two tents (40ft by 45ft and 30ft by 45ft), one of which had to be installed on a dock overlooking lake Winnipesaukee. Prior to my wedding, I had only seen pictures of clear top tents on Pinterest. I never could have imagined how beautiful they are in real life, or that I could recreate the look of what I had seen online. But, I can honestly tell you that the final product was unbelievable. For our outdoor wedding on the water, it was a perfect choice. Exeter also provided perimeter and lantern lights for the tent, a dance floor, and tables and folding chairs.

My husband and I were married in York Harbor Maine in July. We rented a home by the beach, and were recommended by the home owner to get our tent from Exeter. From the first time I called to the day the tent was put up I felt extremely happy with the service and product Exeter provided. They were so flexible and accommodating, and made some great suggestions that made my wedding look beautiful. We rented a sailcloth tent, barn tables, chairs, sound system, lighting and a new item: the whiskey barrel bar; which was amazing! Emily from Exeter was so friendly and understanding and always got back to me right away with any questions I had. My family and I feel very lucky to have had such a perfect day with Exeter's help! I recommend Exeter to anyone who needs rentals for a wedding, family reunion, or any other event. You will be very happy :) -

We rented a large tent, tables, chairs and a sound system for our post-wedding celebration. From the very first phone call, Exeter Events & Tents were fantastic. They helped us figure out exactly what we needed for our celebration and they were flexible with our order (which changed at least 10 times). The staff and our rep (Emily) was very responsive and always quick to return an email or phone call with a question.
As for the set-up, the team showed up on time and did a great job with everything. The value is also fantastic -- we highly recommend Exeter Events & Tents for any wedding or other celebration.

We planned our wedding in York, ME from our home in Los Angeles, which, needless to say, is not an easy task. So when we called Ashley for a last minute meeting to look around their showroom and she immediately responded and stuck around to let us in, we were ecstatic and knew we needed them on our team for such an important day. We weren't sure if we would need a tent but got one just in case (you can never be too sure of how the weather will be in ME at the end of June). Thankfully the weather held up for us for the day of our outdoor wedding ceremony and reception and the tent provided the elegant touch that was need to make the bare lawn look like a wedding! Not to mention, it held up to some crazy weather the following day (rainstorm and winds that looked like the tent should have flown away but it didn't).
They accommodated many changes along the way and were very good about getting back to us with anything we might need or may have forgotten. It was convenient for us that they had worked with our caterer before, so it meant less for us to have to think about beforehand. They already knew the basic things we would need. And they are decently priced. We were very happy with their service and their products that we rented. If we ever throw a party in New England again, they will be the first people we call. -

Exeter was simply fantastic! From start to finish, the entire team was so great to work with. Our rep, Lynsie, was always available for questions and was extremely helpful. We had to make many changes over time to our order, but the whole team was always so accommodating.
When the crew came to set up our tent--we were truly amazed at how beautiful it was. Bright white and just how we pictured it to be! All of our other rentals, from tables and chairs to linens and silverware, were exactly what we expected. Our guests were shocked at just how beautiful our backyard wedding turned out to be. So a huge thank you is owed to Exeter for helping us accomplish our dream wedding day! -

We were happy with the yellow table runners and napkins we rented from Exeter Events & Tents for our July 20, 2013 wedding. They offer such a variety of colors and textures that should suit anyone's needs. They offer swatches and samples for you to preview which is very helpful when planning. In addition to linens, they offer equipment and just about anything you could think of to help customize your big day! The staff that works their is knowledgeable and can provide you with the timeline for pick up/drop off. We would recommend this to anyone planning a big or small event!

Nicole was fabulous. She recommended a sail cloth tent instead of what was told to us by another person. She was flexible with last minute changes. We added chinese lanterns to our tent and it totally made the atmosphere and our shabby chic theme. The lights of the lanterns were perfect and its my favorite picture that my husband took. It was well worth the investment for the lanterns and our guests couldn't stop talking about them. This is the place to use for your rental vendor! -

I used Exeter Events and Tents for all my wedding rentals. The consultants are very knowledgeable and I found them extremely helpful when it came to deciding what style and size tent I needed. They also created a layout for me which was amazing because it helped me envision my wedding.
The quality of the items are fantastic. I rented Fruitwood Chivari Chairs with White cushions and they were so beautiful! All of my glassware, flatware and dishware were also rented from Exeter and I couldn't have been happier.

We rented our chairs and all table items (plates, glasses, silverware) from Exeter Events and Tents. The process started with us meeting with Lauren, talking about our event and having her walk through all of our different options. Next we picked out what we wanted and she provided us a quote. When we decided what we wanted we signed a contract and it was very clear that we could change anything up to two weeks prior to our event. When we made a change, Lauren quickly made a revision to our contract and got it back to us. Finally on delivery day the truck showed up on time, unloaded everything efficiently and everything arrived as requested. The day after the event the pick up was also quick and efficient. Overall this group was so easy to work with and the items we ordered were great quality. -

We used Exeter Events and Tents for our wedding in Kennebunkport, Maine this past June. Emily helped us with selecting the correct size tent and proper number rental items based on our guests. The process was very easy and Emily was quick to make helpful suggestions and edit the order as we moved along in the planning process. Day of, the gentlemen that came to set up the tent were efficient and professional. The tent looked amazing!! Exeter wasn't the cheapest rental company we found, but you can't top the quality of their rentals and the professionalism of all of their employees. We would highly recommend this company and would use them again for another event! -

Everything we rented was beautiful, and Lynsie at Exeter events and Tents was great to work with throughout the entire process. The team really saved the day bringing some tent sidings the day of the wedding when it was too windy to even keep the tablecloths on the table. They really hit the ball out of the park with professional staff who were problem solvers and very knowledgeable about tent set up and spacing on a challenging and new wedding venue. They were helpful throughout the entire process and made suggestions on what may be the best option on various items. We felt comforted knowing that exeter events and tents were there to provide everything we needed for our wedding day, from various types of glasses, to plates, silverware and a dance floor. Emily especially was wonderful, diligent, and cared about every detail pertaining to our order to ensure that our wedding rentals went smoothly. A couple of the items were forgotten but delivered to us the same day and two of our white chairs had crayon marking on them. Besides that we were quiet pleased with their attentiveness and willingness to help us figure out where to best place the tent and making sure it was delivered early enough for us to set-up (3 days in advance). -

We rented a frame tent, tables, chairs, plates, glasses and flatware from Exeter Events & Tents for our September wedding. We did all of our communicating over email and rental consultant, Emily was very responsive and made a bunch changes to our reservation over several months as we finalized the details of our wedding. She helped us schedule a site visit to determine our exact tent needs and helped us right up until the end. When delivered, a couple table pieces were forgotten, but the error was quickly corrected. Our wedding was outside and under a tent, and due to the agreement with our venue we had to use Exeter for our rentals. We had a meeting at their office to determine what we would need. Their office has samples of all the rental items, which was certainly helpful to determine chairs, linens and glass/dishware. While they were very nice and friendly, and easy to work with, they don't always know the correct quantities so be sure to check with your caterer/bartender to confirm. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and would recommend for event rentals. -

We used Exeter Events and Tents for our ocean side wedding on Labor Day weekend and it looked absolutely beautiful. The ceremony was set up perfectly with the ocean as the backdrop. Everything under the tent looked great but the only reason I am rating this vendor a 4 instead of a 5 is they forgot the three trash cans I ordered and didn't place the wine barrel bar in the correct location and it was way too heavy to move.
If you get the chance to work with Emily, I highly recommend her! She takes her time with you and is super personable! -

I had received a quote from a competing company who was a real jerk to work with, so my contact at Exeter took at look at their quote to see if they could match their prices (Exeter was less expensive to begin with). My contact was incredibly responsive, but I wish she helped me more to make sure I had every single thing I needed (I forgot napkins). I would still recommend them for rentals in the area, though. -

We had a mostly DIY wedding at Hamilton House Gardens in South Berwick, ME that required renting everything and Exeter provided our tent and rental items. We started out with a wonderful coordinator who very helpful, but she unfortunately left the company. We then got passed around to several different coordinators. It felt like we talked to a different person every time. Despite the difficult communication the tent and rental items were what we wanted. -

Exeter has some of the most beautiful items available for rent, the people I did work with were very nice, the installation crew was super efficient and professional and we were so happy overall. We were unfortunately ill advised on the quantity of certain items - such as glasses, plates. For example we had 16 extra crates of glasses, they were still wrapped, totally unused and of course nonrefundable. They stress that they are party planning professionals, however this was surprising. -

We got a tent for our beach wedding the day before Hurricane Irene.
2 weeks before my wedding, I decided I wanted a bigger tent and more tables, and they amended my contract no problem, Ashley was great and emailed me my new price quickly.
The tent itself was amazing, tall, sturdy, well anchored. The day of set up they were supposed to call me when they were on their way (so I could meet them at the venue), which they never did. I ended up waiting at the venue almost all day just to be sure I didn't miss them, was kind of a waste, but in the end, tent was up and ready and perfectly set up so I was happy. Tables and chairs were great, no issues there, all in good shape.
With my Saturday wedding, it was supposed to be picked up on Sunday. The hurricane was going to hit Sunday so they called and wanted to pick up on Saturday after the wedding was over. We agreed this was ok. However -- they showed up while the wedding was still going on, wanting to take the tent away. I let hubby deal with that one, he gave them some leftover food and told them to come back later, which they did. They weren't happy about it, could have been nicer, but I definitely wasn't kicking people out of my wedding.
All in all, it went well, I was extremely happy with the tent itself just the deliverymen were kind of a pain. If it wasn't for the hurricane messing up the pickup I don't think I would have had any issues, so I would rent from them again. -

We rented chairs from Exeter for our wedding ceremony in York ME. There were restrictions on the timing that the chairs could be set up and our venue recommended Exeter because they had good experiences with them following the rules.
Overall, they were pretty expensive. The per-chair charge looked fine but there were a lot of extra delivery and set up charges that would apply to almost any wedding rental- for example, a surcharge for events after 4pm and another surcharge for drop off and pick up on the same day. After fees it ended up costing over $20 per chair and we got the cheapest ones they had.
That said, they were easy to work with and did everything they said they would- I just would have preferred a more flexible option that would have ultimately been a better value. They did take credit card payment over the phone which I consider a plus! -

Unfortunately, we were unable to use the chair rentals, due to inclement weather on the day of our wedding. Emily was helpful throughout the entire planning process; however, the delivery man could have been more professional. It was unfortunate that they do not offer a partial refund for weather events, but I can see it from both sides. -

We used them for rentals for both our ceremony and reception. Everything was fine with the reception, but we had issues with the ceremony. Our venue didn't allow any set up till half an hour before the ceremony started, so I was told they would be there early in order to get started promptly. They were not there early, and when they arrived, they did not even have all the equipment that we needed. Some of our ceremony equipment went to the reception site despite confirming what needed to go where shortly before the wedding. Besides the fact that this further delayed our ceremony and they were setting up while guests were arriving, we also had no mic system and no sound system to play the music that i was walking down the aisle to or that was supposed to be played at the conclusion. Luckily, a friend was playing the guitar for the wedding party to walk down the aisle to, and had some equipment that allowed us to play my song. If he didn't have that, the ceremony would have been ruined. Also, since there was a delay, all of the groomsmen and bridesmaids had to help set up chairs. Not happy. -

I rented overlays and partitions. The Overlays were fine, however, the partitions - i was not impressed with. All around, i was not to impressed with their service and responsiveness. -

We had originally planned on having real plates for the reception, we ordered and paid for them. We found out later that they had also scheduled the plates to be at the Bushes residence in Kennebunkport the evening before my afternoon reception. They were "hopeful" that the plates would be cleaned and returned in time to deliver them to my reception site. Rather than crossing my fingers and hoping it all worked out - we cancelled them. They gave us a hard time about canceling, saying that the contract stated we had to give 2 weeks notice before canceling. Well we never received the contract via email as they had promised. We made several calls, and even stopped in - I'm not sure we ever received the final contract. But we did get our table cloths (not napkins $1/napkin to rent it?!) and glasses from them, as well as chairs for the outdoor ceremony (which they tried to deliver to the reception site). -
