I can't say enough nice things about Specialty Bus Co. My non-detail-oriented self put the wrong location down for pickup and they still got our guests to the venue on time!!! They were very prompt, courteous, and understanding of my mistake. I felt so awful about the mixup and appreciate them so much for fixing it without me even knowing anything was wrong. Their prices are very fair and I appreciated that the quote includes gratuity already; one less thing for me to worry about.
Definitely a wonderful option for transportation!! -

The team at Specialty made everything easy from the very beginning! They were professional, accommodating, and straight forward. Their pricing is reasonable and they are very responsive whenever you reach out with questions/adjustments/etc. The driver assigned to us, Mike, was very friendly and made our guests feel comfortable. We'd highly recommend them and would use them again for any big events we have in the future! -

My husband and I got married at the Glastonbury Hills Country Club (GHCC) on Saturday 8/24/19 and booked Specialty’s new luxury shuttle bus (about 30 seats) to transport the wedding party for the day. Despite only booking with them less than a month in advance of the wedding, there were no hiccups and we have absolutely no complaints! Leading up to the wedding, we were in touch with their Director of Transportation, Denise, who was very pleasant, responsive, and caring. The services were affordable and vehicle arrived as expected and shown in pictures. Contact information for both the driver and another emergency contact person were sent to us in advance and on the day-of, the driver, Marek, was timely and friendly. I would recommend them to any couple!

We worked with Specialty to arrange wedding transportation between our hotel and venue for our guests. We booked 2 large luxury shuttle buses so they could run concurrently and allow multiple pick up/drop off times. Denise helped coordinate and she was very flexible with booking since we didn’t finalize our guest count until closer to the wedding day. The day of the wedding, our drivers texted to let me know they were up and running and available if needed, which put me at ease. At the end of the night the last shuttle was a little late picking up at the venue, but with a quick call to the driver they were on their way! Overall we felt it was an affordable transportation option, the vehicles were clean and the staff was pleasant. -

Kelley Sent on 09/08/2017We were very pleased with Specialty Transportation’s services! We rented 3 buses for our wedding day at a reasonable price. The party bus was perfect for our wedding party and inspired a lively ride from the church! The bus drivers were all prompt and very friendly. We especially loved the driver at the end of the night en route from the venue to the hotel. He was such a sport with all the tipsy folks and encouraged fun sing alongs to Queen!
One of our buses actually broke down while at the venue during our reception, BUT there was no reason to panic! We understand things happen and they immediately came out with a replacement bus within an hour. Many thanks for the speed and professionalism in that situation.
Overall, we would definitely use Specialty Transportation again and we highly recommend!! -

We hired Specialty Transportation for our guest shuttles to and from our hotels for our wedding. They were great on timing and even came early! The only complaint I got from guests was that one driver was very strict with the timing (which I can appreciate) but the bus was not filled with guests yet to take to the venue. I’m hoping there can be a little more flexibility and understanding that sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned. Other than that the shuttle rides back were great and were able to fit all of our guests! Pricing was super reasonable and they were able to make multiple trips for those that wanted to head back to the hotel earlier. -

We hired two buses from Specialty Transportation to transport guests from 3 hotels to our wedding in June of 2023, the 30 passenger luxury bus and 28 passenger shuttle bus. Specialty was extremely communicative and easy to coordinate with. We actually signed a contract to rent one of our buses the same night as another couple, and they caught it in advance. They also offered us a different bus for the same price to make up for the error. We also asked to adjust the schedule we originally submitted a few weeks later, and they let us with no questions.
We didn’t ride the buses ourselves, but our guests told us they had a good experience. The buses were on time and stuck with the pickup/dropoff schedule we gave them. There was one incident towards the end of our night where a driver told a bus of people who didn’t fit on his bus that he would not be returning, despite being contracted for almost another whole hour. He did not return, but the other driver did. Unfortunately, the buses were off-set in their timing, so the small last group of guests did wait quite a while for that final bus. The driver who did return was deeply apologetic and seemed confused as to why his coworker had said he wouldn’t return. Ultimately, all our guests got back to their hotels and didn’t really have any complaints. We would definitely work with Specialty again!
