  Hire DJ Sammy Scott as your wedding DJ!

  I cannot recommend DJ Sammy Scott enough!! He did such a fantastic job at our wedding. He also did an incredible job as the emcee, a role I did not realize the full importance of until the wedding! He is an amazing emcee--the perfect balance of framing the situation/greeting/hype/warmth. He treated us like we were old friends, which made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. He kept the timeline moving seamlessly. He knows music so well! He was truly a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. We can't say enough good things about DJ Sammy Scott. Thank you!!

  Fantastic!

  DJ Sammy is the best wedding DJ hands down! He made putting together playlists super easy! Had great song suggestions! He is extremely personable and knows how to read the room really well! I highly recommend!

  Awesome DJ.

  We were given the name of Special Notes by the owner of the wedding venue when we were planning our daughter's wedding. We couldn't have been more pleased. The DJ for the wedding was Sammy and he was wonderful. He had communicated well with my daughter about her song preferences, was friendly, and helped to direct and set the tone for the whole evening. We were so pleased with everything about the wedding reception and would highly recommend Special Notes for any event that you might be planning. Barbara

  SO much fun!

  I cannot say enough great things about Legacy Sound/DJ Sammy Scott that we hired as our DJ through Special Notes! We had debated having a DJ when we were initially planning for our 2020 wedding before our reschedule due to our small guest count - but even though we didn't have a big dancing crowd, hiring Sammy was one of the best decisions we made! From the initial booking, the timeline and song selection questionnaire he sends to you to fill out, his DJ and emcee skills and fun demeanor made a huge impact on our night! He was adaptable with a few last minute changes and also quickly made friends with my nephew/flower boy who then tore up the dance floor all night. Thank you so much!

  Caring and Entertaining!

  We had a Monday wedding (+ destination), and we received such a great discount and the services were amazing! We had DJ Sammy, and he was seriously the best! Our wedding was at Dara's Garden and he had worked there before so he knew the best places to be set up for both the ceremony and the reception. He came around several times to check on me, my husband, and the wedding party to see if we needed any drinks or anything. He really went above and beyond and he did a great job with the music and keeping everyone entertained! We would highly recommend Special Notes and DJ Sammy!!

  A dream to work with!

  We hired DJ Sammy for our wedding and he went above and beyond all of my expectations! He did a fantastic job of keeping the reception going all night long and keeping everyone on the dance floor. He also was available for anything I needed throughout the night and then gave us a beautiful last dance together in a quiet room while our guest were outside lighting sparklers. It was magical! Special Notes was always quick to respond to all of my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend DJ Sammy/Special Notes for a fun and energetic wedding reception!

  I worked with Tiffany Ogle and she was awesome! I was so worried about choosing music for our wedding weekend without hearing the musicians live myself. I told her exactly what I wanted and the two she recommended were outstanding and they made our wedding weekend so much fun! She always answered my questions in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

  Ryan was awesome!! He has the party started and kept it going. His introduction of the wedding party was so fun and entertaining. He was very good about communication and made the father/daughter mix music in just a few minutes so dad and bride could practice. We did not have alcohol at our wedding but Ryan kept people on their feet dancing. He made the reception unforgettable.

  We used Special Notes to book the Marble City Shooters for our wedding reception! Both were phenomenal! Tiffany at Special Notes, provided all the answers to my questions prior to booking the band, and once we made a decision, she passed off the baton to Andrew with the band. Everything went smoothly and professional and all of our guests had an awesome time!

  Ryan Ray from Special Notes was the DJ for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with him. He provided great insight and suggestions when we had no idea what we were doing (we didn't have a wedding planner). He has a very nice, calming demeanor, which is something I wouldn't have thought about needing on my wedding day, but it put me and my husband at ease when everything and everybody around us was hectic. He was perfect and we're so grateful to have him DJ our wedding!

  My (now) husband and I requested a pianist and violinist for our wedding ceremony through Special Notes. Andrew (pianist) and Mary Ann (violinist) were excellent! They worked with us to figure out the song schedule and played all our requests! The string duo who played for the ceremony were so helpful in suggesting appropriate music and filling in beautiful songs when I didn't have any idea what to recommend. From our very first meeting, he made me feel like my happiness was paramount, and he took every opportunity to make himself available, even finding the perfect uplighting the night before the wedding. We went through every aspect of our wedding timeline, and he delivered the perfect party atmosphere that I had requested. During the reception, he took great care of me and my husband, from getting our champagne for the toasts, to bringing us water in our receiving line, and, best of all, allowed everyone to relax and have fun!

During the reception, he took great care of me and my husband, from getting our champagne for the toasts, to bringing us water in our receiving line, and, best of all, allowed everyone to relax and have fun!

  Special Notes, a component of Ogle Entertainment, arranged for Logan Murrell to serve as our ceremony musician. Good heavens, her voice was that of an angel and was exactly what I wanted. If you need a quartet, harp player, or an acoustic guitarist (like we did), contact them. They are super easy to work with and have lots of connections to get you the musician you need.
