Rodney is amazing to work with!

We hired Rodney for our 12/19/2020 wedding at Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena, IL for a photo booth, bistro lighting, and DJ services. Rodney was so friendly throughout the planning process, and was extremely flexible with us when we had to postpone our wedding to 11/27/2021. I really liked his online planning portals; they made it very easy to communicate important details. As an added bonus, Rodney has extensive experience working with our venue. Because of this, he was easily able to communicate with the venue coordinator and establish set up times without any help needed from me! The photo booth was a big hit with guests. They got to leave a photo strip in a scrapbook for us with a little note and take a photo strip home with them! We had the bistro lights hung over the dance floor, and they were beautiful. The DJ was amazing and kept the reception running smoothly the entire night. We would definitely recommend this company!

Best. Team. Ever.

Rodney and his team are amazing to work with - fun, friendly, energetic and quick to respond. Everyone at our wedding loved the DJ, Rich Ungos and the dance floor was packed All. Night. Long. The photo booth was a huge hit too and our guests loved getting to take their photos with them!!!

Rodney and Rich were amazing to work with on our wedding day. They were so accommodating with everything we asked for and made sure we enjoyed our night! The guests loved the two of them and had so much fun with Rodney at the photo booth and loved dancing to the music that Rich played! I would highly recommend Special Moments Entertainment if you are looking for a reliable and professional company who will make sure that you and your guests have a fantastic night!!

Special Moments really made our day special with a beautiful display of bistro lighting in the banquet hall. Rodney came all the way out to Galena to set it all up early that day and so it looked beautiful lit up at night.

We had Special Moments Entertainment DJ our wedding reception and provide photobooth services. They were so responsive and accommodating throughout my entire wedding planning experience with them. At the reception, the photo booth was an absolute hit!! All of my guests were having so much fun. DJ Rich Ungos was absolutely amazing!! Our dance floor was packed all night. We had the time of our lives and couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you so much Special Moments Entertainment for such a fantastic night!

Rodney and his team at special moments were amazing! They were wonderful to work with, attentive, and worth every penny to decorate our venue. They added special touches to our reception hall that made everything come together perfectly. I highly recommend them to all couples planning their wedding, you won’t regret it!

Rodney was such a pleasure to work with!!! He was extremely professional, responsive, kind, easy-going, and genuine!! He also offered to suggest other vendors that I may need for my wedding, since he was more familiar with the Galena location than I was! I'm so glad that I chose Rodney to help with some of the decor of my reception!! I did the italian bistro lights and fabric draping and they both gave my reception hall that WOW factor!!! Everything turned out so beautiful, and I could not imagine not choosing those services after seeing it all done!!! It was so great to work with him!! Thank you for helping to make our day incredible!

From the moment I contacted Special Moments, the service and their attention was excellent. I live out of town, no where near my wedding location, I handle everything by phone and email. Up until the day prior to the wedding, Special Moments were there and agreed to a last minute set up change. The day of the wedding, my guests enjoyed the booth. Special Moments found my husband and I to ensure we took photos as well. They followed thru, on delivery of the memory book...(I forgot about it). I recommend!! you using there services for your photo booth needs. EXCELLENT!!

Rodeny and his photobooth wre so fun and awesome to have at the wedding. Rodeny was booked through my parents as a surprise and when my dad accidentally spilled the beans, he was great to work with. He has a nice camera set up so they are clear photos and the space he set up a lot of guests in each photo. Thank you Rodney !

We had already planned to use Rodney's photo booth service for our wedding, when at the very last minute, my mom decided she wanted TWINKLE LIGHTS (seriously, she was obsessed), and boy am I glad she did. Rodney absolutely transformed our reception into a fairy tale. He also did work for another client who was having their reception that evening in the area that our ceremony was held in the afternoon, so we got to enjoy that decor as well, which was also gorgeous (how lucky we were!) The venue was already a beautiful place, but once I saw what Rodney did to both spaces, I can't imagine having it any other way. He hung beautiful drapery, flowing fabric panels and twinkle lights inside the ballroom and stunning bistro lights out on the deck. He coordinated the colored lighting with our DJ and it could not have looked better. The photo booth was a blast, too. Everyone had a great time with it and it is so much fun getting to look back through the book of all the silly pictures. Rodney was fantastic to work with. I'd recommend Special Moments to anyone in a heartbeat.

If you are looking for an amazing DJ to add to your photo booth services, I highly recommend DJ Rich Ungos! My husband and I had him at our wedding almost two months ago, and our friends & family still talk about how he is one of the best DJs that they have ever heard. He was extremely accommodating & flexible when it came to meeting up to talk to us about the wedding, whether it was discussing the contract, helping us choose certain songs, or giving us recommendations and different ideas on how to lay out the events of the evening. He has an awesome website that is a great tool for brides & grooms to help sort of lay out the night, listing out different songs for each dance - this was such a huge benefit for us in order to keep everything straight. One of the best parts about it was that if you couldn't exactly pin-point a song you wanted (for example, father/daughter or mother/son), there are lists of the top songs that are chosen for that dance at different weddings. The options are definitely endless!

If you are looking for a great duo to do both your photo booth, lighting, and DJ needs - we would highly recommend Rodney & Rich to anybody. They are both so good at what they do and we are so happy we chose each of them to help us make our wedding day one of the best!

I was very pleased with Special Moments Photo Booth. When we booked, we got a discount for booking at a bridal show in Dubuque, IA. Even paying full price would be worth it! We were really happy with the service we received. They are easy to work with, very responsive to emails and questions, and accommodating. Thank you Special Moments Photo Booth for being a part of our special day and allowing us to still be a part of the fun through seeing the pictures that our family and friends took!

Rodney was so fast to respond. There was one time he was at an event and count speak to me on the phone so he texted me and was very quick to respond. Very easy to work with and hosted a great photobooth at our wedding! Everyone loved and enjoyed themselves in there and got some very funny and awesome pictures!! Very recommend their services!!!

Smooth, easy and fun! That was how we felt about Special Moments Entertainment. From the moment we reserved them for our wedding date, Rodney was super responsive and easy going. I never had to worry about the photo booth, because I knew I could count on Special Moments. Once our wedding day came, the line for the photo booth was constant! Rodney has a fun, upbeat personality, and this is exactly how he ran the booth. My guests had a blast and were bummed when the booth ended for the night. I would reserve them again in a heartbeat. If I had to say something they could improve upon, it would be to have more available props for guests to use.

Photo Booth? White dance floor? Monogram dance floor? String lighting? Uplighting? Draping? Backdrops? You want it? RODNEY DOES IT! This guy can design a room that will make a bride cry, trust me I know because I did. 100% worth every penny. Everything was great through the planning process. Be sure to talk to them about props for your Photo Booth too. I can't come up with anything negative, just have faith in this team. They'll end up being your friends :)

I want send a huge Thank you to Rodney and his team at Special Moments Entertainment. My Husband and I used his services on July 30th, 2016. They were all set up and ready to go by the start of the night. My guests were in there during the cocktail hour of our reception. My guests just loved the idea of having the photobooth. It was busy all night long everytime I looked up there were lines after lines. The coordinator pulled me and my husband aside to get us in there while it was at it busiest times so we could get photos for the cover of our album, not only did this happen once but she allowed us to get in there right before she closed so we could get a couple more photos in. She was very nice and cooperative of my guests and even allowed some of them to go in there during closing time for dinner, which I thought was nice, I believed she only oped it a few minutes early prior to dinner being over. I would highly recommend Rodney and his team for your special event.

My husband & I are so incredibly happy we chose Rodney & Special Moments Entertainment to do our photo booth for our wedding! For what we paid, we got way more in return than expected. The props he provided were so much fun, the photo booth itself and the backdrop was fun and pretty as well. All of our guests loved it - we were seriously pulled into the photo booth more than we were on the dance floor ;) We also got a book of all copies of the photo booth photos and guests were able to leave a little note for us to go with them. We also got any extra photo strips the guests didn't take. We would highly recommend Rodney & his team to be at your next event! He is super easy to get a hold of, and extremely flexible with any requests you might have.

We had the photobooth at our wedding on July 9th and it was amazing! The attendant did an excellent job getting our guests to the photobooth and assisting them in the process. Everyone loved it and had a blast taking pictures. Thank you for the fun experience!

Rodney took care of the photo booth at my wedding and he was amazing!! He was dressed professional, and he was so nice and forthcoming with all my wedding guests. All of my friends and family said the photo booth was a blast, it was definitely worth every penny that I spent. I also love looking at my scrapbook that I got with all the pictures of everyone!!

If you are looking for hands down the best lighting, draping, and photo booth expert - you have come to the right place. Getting a photo booth was a last minute decision for us and we are so happy we did. Rodney was awesome! He answered all my questions, worked with me on a price that would fit our budget, and was great day of wedding. We all had a lot of fun, and a week later my guest are still talking about their photo booth photos. I would highly recommend him to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

I had an absolute great experience with Special Moments Photo Booth! My guests had a blast using the photo booth and Danielle (who ran the photo booth the night of our wedding) was absolutely accommodating to our guests and interacted with them so well. Rodney was very quick to respond to emails and made sure that everything was just perfect. Make sure you purchase the photo book it gives guests a space to write a nice message to go along with their photo. I would refer them to anyone I know!

I hired Special Moments for the photobooth at my wedding and not only have I beyond thrilled of their service and how happy my guests were, I am even more thrilled by my decision to go with this company. Rodney was extremely friendly, prompt, responsible and knowledgeable about the services and products they offered. Then on the day of my wedding the staff that worked the machine were courteous, professional and fun to have at my wedding. I was extremely pleased with the service and highly recommend them!

Rodney and Special Moments Photo Booth were off the charts incredible to work with! Whenever we had a question throughout the planning process, the response was extremely timely. There were so many options when it came to designing our photo strips that we were able to customize the strips to fit our wedding colors. On the wedding day, the photo booth was a huge hit will all of our guests!! The props added a lot of fun and variety and we have hundreds of photo strips to look back on and remember our special day. The scrapbook that Rodney put together throughout the night was so nice to look through after the night was over. The friendly service and fantastic product are highly recommended!!! Thanks Rodney for a memorable night!

Rodney was AMAZING!! Our photographers Cathy and Jeff from Unposed photography recommended him to us and we are so glad that we went with him he is great. He not only did our photo booth but he also made a white vinyl floor, fabric and lights in our tent and it was gorgeous!! We got so many complements on how beautiful our ceremony and reception tent was. Rodney is a fun, easy going person and we loved working with him!! We will recommend him to anyone and everyone we can.

We really enjoyed working with Rodney and his crew. When we lost the USB of our photos he promptly replaced it! Our guests loved the photobooth and we even added some of our own props!

Rodney and his group of girls are 100% amazing. I have never worked with a better team of people. The set up at my wedding was amazing as were the props. Thank you for taking the extra time to add a photo of our family to the screen inside the Photobooth. I know I have said it already but it brought tears to my eyes. Rodney was amazing and I only heard great things from my guests at my wedding! Everyone had a blast with the Photo Booth and the props! We absolutly LOVED our photobooth at my mom's wedding. It was DEFINITELY one of the hi-lights of the day! Thanks to Rodney & Jill for making it a fun & exciting day! We will DEFINITELY be using them again in the future!

We had a Special Moments Photo Booth at our wedding at the Pavilion at Orchard Ridge Farms in Rockton and it was a huge hit! All of our guests loved taking pictures in the photo booth and we loved getting an album with everyone's photos at the end of the night. Plus we got digital copies of all the photos as well. It was a ton a fun and gave us a lot of great memories.

I had Special Moments Photo Booth at my wedding reception and was very happy with the services they provided. Rodney was very easy to work with prior to the wedding day and always returned my emails promptly. They were able to use our wedding monogram at the bottom of the photo strip so everything matched. I also had them make a scrapbook of all the photo strips for a keepsake. Our guests (280) of all ages enjoyed the photo booth. Some were in their 80's and enjoyed it as much as the 8 year old. Faith ran the photo booth at the reception and several guests commented how helpful and nice she was to work with. I would recommend Special Moments Photo Booth and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

We decided at the last minute to surprise our son and his bride with a photo booth at their reception. Rodney went above and beyond to make this happen. The couple was thrilled and the guests had the best time having their pictures done. The scrap book will be something my son and his wife will enjoy looking at for years to come. We haven't checked the digital file that we received with our package, so I can't comment on that particular area at this time, but everything else was great. Everyone had so much fun and the photo booth attendant was very professional and polite. We highly recommend this photo booth company.

Special Moments Photo Booth is the way to go! I got married June 2013 and used Special Moments during my reception. I was impressed with them from the start when I was researching photo booth companies. Rodney was very helpful on the phone and didn’t mind answering the hundred questions I had for him about the photo booth! The overall booking process was very easy and all completed on a secured website.
The photo booth itself is the best one I have been in due to its size and features. A lot of the other photo booths I looked at could only fit 2 maybe 3 people in the booth. However, the Special Moments photo booth can hold up to 8 people! The pictures are hilarious with that many people and all the props! Another neat feature that I enjoyed was that each group could choose if they wanted to do a color or a black & white picture!
Rodney did a great job hosting the photo booth during the reception. He was very professional but also personable and fun! He would help out the guests and direct them on how to run the booth. He would also prepare the pictures and put them in the scrapbook right away for the guest to comment on.
Special Moments Photo Booth was a great company to work with during my wedding planning. I honestly have nothing but great things to say about my experience with them. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a fun photo booth experience!

Special Moments Photo Booth was a great addition to our wedding reception! Our guests have all been talking about what an awesome time they had! My husband and I had a blast looking through everyone's pictures! I would recommend Special Moments to anyone!

Special Moments made our graduation a true special moment. There is not one bad thing I can say about the service or quality. All my questions and e-mails were answered promptly. I researched many photo booth services and this was the best price and quality I found. Other services had poor quality photo strips and billed for travel expenses on top of the photo booth price. Our attendant was so good with our daughter (the graduate) and our party guest. And even after I forgot to feed her (so sorry), she never complained or became un-professional. The photo booth was such a hit and well worth the expense. I would definitely recommend Special Moments for any party.

The best photobooth in town! Nice and big and spacious. At one point I think we fit about 10 people in the photobooth. They had lots of fun props as well. Not to mention you could choose black and white or color photos. We had a photobook made as well. Special Moments Photobooth is very professional. I would most definitely use them in the future. Thanks Rodney for a memorable evening.

I was so pleased with Special Moments Photo Booth. They were extremely easy to work with, competitively priced, and always professional. I also really appreciated the fact that they stayed open about 20 minutes longer than I paid for because there was a line to get pictures. It was a great value and something I am so happy that I had at my wedding!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Special Moments Photo Booth. We had a children's health fair at the YMCA and by far their booth was the shining spotlight. Faith and Rodney are so great. I would recommend them a million times over. I can't wait to work with them in the future!

Special Moments are a great company with your wedding in mind. They have a great staff that is very friendly, professional and helpful. They made the photo booth experience a lot of fun :) They were on time and set up before the wedding. I would highly suggest using them for any event from wedding to work events. The photo booth was a GREAT thing to have at my own wedding, it gives friends & family the opportunity to take silly photos for memories down the road. I love the fact that everyone is able to take their own photos home and keep the memories for themselves. I would use them again in the future :)

Rodney at Special Moments was great and easy to work with. I rented a back drop for the band at my daughter's wedding and ultimately rented a photo booth as well. The photo booth added a great element of fun to the wedding reception and was a HUGE hit among the guests. I am so glad we added this and was an affordable option! Rodney is professional, extremely responsive, talented, and very nice! He did the drapery, bistro lighting, and photo booth for our wedding reception. When I was unsure whether to go with Christmas lights or bistro lighting he sent examples and gave me his opinion based on the mood we were going for. The decoration was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I was worried that guests would think the photo booth was tacky but Rodney assured me that it's very popular at wedding receptions and he was right on. Our guests loved it and it was a great accompaniment to the dance floor and music. Everyone was definitely in the mood to have fun! I would highly recommend using Rodney for decor and photo booth at your wedding reception.

I found Rodney at a bridal expo and absolutely loved the photo booth. The package I went with provides you with a photo album to keep with all of your guests photo strips inside. It was fun going through the next day and looking at all the crazy pictures they took. My guests loved the photo booth, in fact one of my guests booked Rodney for her wedding she liked the booth so much!

I was very happy with the service that Rodney and his team provided us for our wedding. Everything was set up perfectly and I did not have to worry about anything. Rodney was also super flexible with our decisions, as we changed our minds about the design of the photo a few times. He was more than accommodating. It is great that they took care of putting together the scrapbook, that way we could look back at all of the pictures. They also provide a flash drive with all of the pictures on it--which is awesome.

My wife and I held our wedding reception in the Ballroom at Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena, IL. Rodney provided ceiling drapery with twinkle lights in them and a wall backdrop. He was very accommodating and flexible in helping us create the look we wanted.

I enjoyed working with Special Moments Photo Booth. Initially we chatted back and forth about color and format of how the pictures would look and I was very happy with the way that they were designed for printing. The photo booth was nice and a good size for a big group to take pictures together inside. I was disappointed at the amount of props that were available to take with the pictures. I was hoping for some more to enhance the pictures. I did, however, feel Rodney was a very professional guy and I was pleased with the scrapbook that was put together by the end of the night. I would recommend him to others but just suggest he bring more props.

I was married on 9-21-13 and I must say the photobooth was great! Everyone loved the idea of the photobooth and for many, it was the firdt time they have ever been to a wedding with one. One thing i was disappointed about was that not everyone knew they could write in the scrapbook. I would recommend that it be known that you can write in the scrapbook after the pictures are glued down, I feel this makes the photobooth more special. We had our photobooth break down for a few minutes and Rodney was great about it getting fixed and allowing us to have more time due to the minor breakdown. Overall, I would tell everyone to use Special Moments! Thank you!!!
