Martine, My Seamstress with a Smile and Plenty of Style!

This is a follow-up for a fitting of my beautiful Mother of the Groom gown. First of all, I want to say what a wonderful experience it was again seeing Linsey and her zest for loving what she does in this boutique. I had the pleasure meeting Martine, Gia's seamstress. She was pleasant and very professional. My fitting was a breeze. This lovely lady is great on doing the thing she loves the most and it shows! I even found a beautiful cocktail dress! Thank you so much!

Awesome time at special moments!

My mom and I went up to Special Moments to try on my dream dress and we couldn't of been happier! Not only did I say yes to my dress but my mom also found one for her to wear for the wedding day as well. They have great selections for all occasions, and are very affordable. Julie and the rest of the staff were so great, helpful, and attentive. They made the whole experience fun and enjoyable! I can't wait to go back and look at bridesmaids dresses, bridal accessories, and of course for my dress fittings! We definitely recommend Special Moments for your wedding, prom, or special occasion needs!!!!!!!

Special Moments Bridal Shop is Amazing!!!

Special Moments was a great place to get my wedding gown from! The staff was very involved in helping me find the perfect dress for such a special day. The staff listened to my wants and needs in order to find my perfect dress. Their patience with me with all I'm inductiveness made me feel comfortable and they gave me great feed back and honesty in what looked good on me. Also, Special Moments seamstress was absolutely AMAZING! she did a wonderful job altering my dress to make it perfect for my wedding day. She was well experienced and very kind. Overall I had no regrets going with Special Moments for my Bridal Gown and loved the selections they offered.

This shop is an hour and a half away from me, and so worth the drive every time! The staff is so friendly and honest! Their seamstress is amazing, and very reasonable on cost. I feel like I really lucked out finding them and glad I make the trip!

Jenn was amazing throughout the entire process. I had purchased my gown and veil over a year and a half before our big day and she was incredible from day one. With having 7 girls in my bridal party, some of which were out of town, Jenn was super accommodating with each and every girl. I am thinking now that everything is complete, planning a destination wedding was probably a little bit easier than planning a local wedding, however, Jenn did calmed me down a few times to let me know that everything would be perfect and she was right.
Martina did a fabulous job with alterations not only with my gown but with my bridesmaids as well.
Definitely recommend this bridal shop!

Special Moments made it so easy for me to choose my dress! I had traveled over an hour to get to the shop for their Stella York collection and it was so worth every mile! This was the first shop I went to and I found my perfect dress within an hour of being there. All the staff there was beyond helpful and so nice. I was always excited to go back for fittings! I'm so happy I chose Special Moments and so grateful for all the staff who helped me choose my dress!

I bought a dress and two weeks later changed my mind. I explained to the employees that my mom pressured me into it and that I really didn't like it. They allowed me to exchange for a different dress! They found me the dress I wanted and made me feel like a star. I'm so very happy I went to this local shop instead of a big box store. I can't say enough about the ladies at Special Moments! From the moment I first walked through the doors for my first appointment to my last, they did their very best at making me feel like a princess bride! We used Special Moments for all of my wedding attire, my husband's tuxedo as well as the entire wedding party of 17. I had such a great experience getting my dress and bridesmaids dresses at Special Moments. Shopping for your wedding dress can be stressful but the ladies at Special Moments really made it a relaxing, fun, and exciting moment for me! The ladies took notice of which styles I liked, which I didn't, and helped guide me from there. They also pulled perfect options for my bridesmaids and I ended up with exactly what I was looking for in both my dress and my girls' dresses. I would absolutely recommend Special Moments to anyone in need of wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, or any sort of special event attire.

I got my wedding gown at Special Moments Bridal Shop. I drove all the way from NJ to check out this classy and affordable shop. My dress, veil, accessories, and alterations were absolutely beautiful. I felt very special and understood whenever I was was working with a consultant. My alterations were also done there and the seamstress, Martina, did a fantastic job each time. I purchased my wedding dress and veil here for my April 2016 wedding. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Mary Ellen, with whom I was primarily in contact, and their selection of dresses was really wonderful. Special Moments was also very flexible about accommodating my schedule since I don't live in the area. I also used their suggested seamstress for the alterations my dress needed (hem, taken in a little, bustle) and thought everything turned out beautifully. All in all, I would definitely recommend this store to other brides!

Special Moments Bridal Shop is a great place to find your wedding dress. While the shop itself has a great selection of gowns, what really makes this place special is Martina. She is the seamstress for the shop, and her work is amazing! I could not have been more happy with her services!

I had a very positive experience! They made sure I looked and felt beautiful for my wedding day. They were always very attentive to me and did an excellent job with alterations considering I only had 3 months when I found my dress from their shop! Would recommend this boutique to anyone who needed a wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, or any formal dress. Oh, I also had my bridesmaids get their dresses from them and they fit beautifully! We were on a time crunch and they helped me and my bridesmaids get the right dress in time for alterations and everything. Wonderful ladies and so sweet, personable and all around great customer service.

I was married in July and got my dress here, all the tuxes for the wedding, bridesmaid dress, mother of the bride dress, and suits for some family members. The staff at Special moments was amazing...they were flexible with out of town bridal party members/groomsmen, provided very helpful information when I was searching for my dress, and were ever so friendly. Martina who did alterations was beyond impeccable...she was able to make perfect alterations to all dresses even with only one fitting for some of my out of town bridesmaids, my dress which included a full embroidered lace overlay needed to be altered and you couldn't even distinguish where the alterations occurred. AMAZING!!! The staff at Special Moments made me feel like a member of their own families and throughout all my fittings and dress searching felt as though I was the only one in the shop. I recommend Special Moments to anyone searching for wedding attire or special occasions wear.

I bought many dresses from Special Moments Bridal store over the years and this was by far the most important one. I bought my wedding dress 1 year and 6 months ahead of the wedding date because I travel for my job and am not in the area often. The ladies at Special Moments held my dress for that long and were very accommodating to my schedule. They were always available when I had questions or wanted to schedule an appointment. I worked directly with Jen who is absolutely wonderful. She always made me feel like her #1 customer. I felt beautiful on my wedding day and its in part because of the fantastic service I received from Special Moments! Thank you!!

This bridal shop delivers a personal experience! Everyone is friendly and willing to help you find the dress of your dreams! They were the only place I looked to find my dream gown - and they warned me that it would be nothing like I thought I wanted - they were right! They helped me to find a unique style that I wouldn't have thought I would look good in. They even recommended adding a belt to my dress to give it a little more sparkle. I highly recommend for a personal and friendly experience!

I had great help when trying on dresses. The associates were attentive and helped me find the type of dress I was looking for. I worked with Jen at Special Moments throughout my entire planning stages. She was very responsive, helped with any questions or problems that arose, and helped me find my perfect dress. The location is very easy to find and happens to be one of the nicest places to do a dress search. It was a nice being able to look around and try on as much as I wanted without having 4 sales consultants breathing down my back. When I had questions, Jen had the answers! Buy Local! This shop was awesome!

Loved this shop! They were so helpful and even picked out a style of dress I never would have picked myself! All of the gowns are so gorgeous, and there's price ranges for everyone. My only complaint would be the alternations - I had no bustle on the day of my wedding, nor was it done by the date we picked for me to try it on after alterations were supposed to be complete. Not the biggest setback, but was still disappointing after the amount I paid for alterations.

If i didnt absolutely love my dress i would have gone somewhere else. i am so unimpressed with the service. the girls dresses were done being altered the week OF the wedding as if we didnt havea million things to do, and most of them were from out of town. very inconvenient and rude to work with.

I had a terrible experience at Special Moments Bridal Shop in schuylkill haven. Their customer services skills and atrocious. The owner and GM are very unpleasant. I still can not figure out why two people would be so miserable at a place that is suppose to bring joy and happiness. I found my dress at another shop $500 cheaper as well! I would never shop here again! Stay away and find a friendly place with great prices!

I am my best friends maid of honor and this is where she got her dress and ours. My whole life I have always been a size 0-2. They measured me for my dress and insisted I was a 6 and kept stressing dress sizes are different than clothing sizes. I thought I should listen to them since they are the professionals and work in a dress store and measure people everyday. We ordered our dresses way I advance and I paid for mine in full. A month and a half before the wedding our dresses came in. Needless to say mine was HUGE. The store doesn't even have a seamstress they just work with a local seamstress. We live over an hour away so I took my dress to my seamstress and my dress was over 2 sizes too big!! I called Special Moments and they did NOTHING for me. I asked if I could bring it back and they could overnight another one and they said no. I asked if they could take it in for no charge since this was their measuring mistake and she said she would call me back and she never did. I would never recommend this store to anyone. And it's a shame because I was also looking for my wedding dress there...they forever lost my business. I could forgive mistakes if the customers are treated properly ....but clearly they don't know how to measure or treat their customers. Avoid the headache and don't go there. Plenty of other dress shops with friendly, knowledgable, and respectful owners and employees to make it a positive experience !
