Best Wedding DJ EVER!
Please look no further for a DJ! Rob was the absolute best DJ we could have asked for. He made sure to fully understand our requests and plan things out well before the wedding with us. Our wedding day went so smoothly all because of Rob! He also officiates weddings which is perfect if you don’t want to also have to find an officiant! You will not be disappointed! -

We hired Special FX DJ Service for our wedding and reception. Rob was absolutely great to work with. He took the time to ask us questions in advance, to not only get a sense of what songs we liked but also to help develop the timeline for the evening. The average age at our wedding was probably 50, but Rob had *everybody* out on the dance floor — even my 86-year-old dad! He made sure everyone had fun and really brought the party! We HIGHLY recommend him for your next event! -

He picked a lot of great music within the genres we requested, was super responsive to last-minute song requests, and everyone had a blast! I would highly recommend him for any event! -

We had Rob DJ our wedding. Rob is a thorough professional. He will make sure the process of getting information from you as less complex as possible.
We had a mixed cultural wedding with tunes from around the world. Rob made sure the DJ transitions in between these tunes are seamless. Definitely recommend Rob for any event. -

Rob was so wonderful to work with through our whole process. He made an effort to get to know us on a more personal level so he could help create the exact tones and moods we were looking to have throughout the day and evening. He's very kind and made a point to check on us throughout the night. The planning process was easy breezy, with a few virtual meetings. Rob was well prepared and knew exactly what questions to ask in order to bring our ideas to life. He is very affordable for such high quality service. We absolutely recommend his DJ services. -

Rob was Absolutely fantastic. Not only was his pricing very affordable, But he made sure to communicate with us throughout the planning process to make sure that we all stayed on the same page. He was extremely accommodating to every song choice we requested. Rob showed up early to our wedding venue To make sure he was set up in time, and even assisted my mother-in-law with setting up some of the decorations! His music selection was great And we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! -

Rob was out DJ for our wedding and he did a spectacular job! He was quick to respond whenever we reached out, he sat with us beforehand to get to know us and what the wedding would be like so that the music would fit. And as the bride I had a very special request for my processional song, and he worked with me to make it be exactly what I wanted. He made it absolutely perfect. Would absolutely reccomend!! -

Jen Sent on 11/05/2017Pick Rob! Our wedding went off without a hitch, and everyone had SO MUCH FUN! Rob was phenomenal to work with from start to finish. My husband Dan and I were planning our wedding a.) from abroad, and b.) in a VERY tight timeline (2.5 months), neither of which were a deterrent for Special FX. Rob worked around time zone differences to schedule calls, and was hugely responsive by email. Dan and I had a...shall we say "eclectic"...mix of music requests (ranging from opera to African to orchestral versions of Blank Space), and Rob not only found and played them all, but made them blend together in a way that sounded completely natural. He handled everything - from guest arrival, processional/recessionals, and our Officiant's mic to cocktail hour music, toasts, and all of our guests dancing the night away with enormous smiles spread wide upon their faces. Rob did a TON, but also did it quietly in the background so that people could focus on having a good time. We had a blast! -

Rob was our DJ and officiant, and was really easy to work with. He kept in touch so we were comfortable with the entire process. Rob sent the scripts and we edited where needed so everything went smoothly. Rob also had our timeline that we wanted to follow, and helped us stay on track for the night. We sent rob a must play list and he kept the dance floor going all night long! The songs that were not on our must play list were relevant to the type of music we liked. The only thing is all songs were edited versions, without any swearing, and we had an adult only reception. Wish all the songs were the uncut versions. I would recommend Rob if you want a DJ who will keep the party going, and the dance floor full. Rob was very good at feeling out crowd to keep people moving. Rob also went above and beyond to keep us on schedule. He reminded us of time frames a few times throughout the night, for cake cutting, first dances, bouquet/garter, and time we took saying thank you's to all the tables (we all know thank you's could take all night). Great job Rob, Thank you!
