I would book a thousand times over!

I was originally set to get married on March 28, 2020. We then postponed to July 12, 2020 and Joanne had no problem working with my new date. We met on multiple occasions to bring my vision to life and she helped me to fit everything into my budget. I had my wedding at The Treasury on the Plaza in downtown St. Augustine, FL and all of the details Joanne put into the flower and decor, truly made it even more beautiful than the venue itself already is. She was professional, kind, and compassionate. I would recommend Special Arrangements 1000%. I don't think I could ever thank you enough!

Beautiful work and great experience

Joanne arranged beautiful bride and bridesmaid bouquets, as well as the groom’s matching boutonniere for us. She also arranged aisle florals for us. We decided to rent some things through her as well, like podium bouquets and aisle runners. She was awesome and our wedding was beautiful.

AMAZING!! Will never stop recommending Joanne!

My Husband and I met and inquired with several florist companies and the second we walked into our meeting with Joanne, there was no question that she was the PERFECT choice for our wedding. Joanne took as much time needed during each of our meetings to discuss our ideas and show us tons of options and examples from the many weddings and events she has done. Joanne knows her stuff!! Through my discussions with other brides as well as my own experience, I have not come across and florist who is this devoted and helpful to her clients. She is very honest and upfront about expenses and making sure that you actually get the best value for your dollar. Any time I had a question in regards to ideas, decor, or a flower; she always had an answer. She was able to truly provide us with whatever we needed. Joanne provided us more than we could have even imagined! Thank you so much Joanne!!

Exceed Expectations

I called Joanne at the last minute to create tropical floral arrangements for my son's rehearsal dinner. She was so gracious and flexible. Joanne not only met my budget but went over and above expectations. When I walked into the rehearsal dinner I was blown away. The arrangements were so gorgeous! We incorporated them into the wedding reception decor the next day.

Very very happy with their service!

I don't know where to begin! Joanne is a very good when it comes to listening to your needs. I wanted a combination of blue and white colors for my wedding bouquet and she helped me with it. She was very good at communicating and providing me the flowers that I wanted! She even gave me the extra flowers that she got! I promise you will be in good hands and rest assured you will not be disappointed!

Joanne was amazing to work with & understood my vision!!

We had a small affair at the beach (inside) and I wanted the ceremony arch to be elegant while the dining area was new by casual with table decor we could see over and talk to each other. We talked by phone and emails sending photos back and forth. I highly recommend!!

Amazing Florist

The best florist in Jax. Joanne at Special Arrangements was a gem to work with. The quality and floral arrangements she design are absolutely beautiful. From the beginning of the process, till the end, she helped me make the best selections; as well as provided alternatives and the most economical selections. I couldn’t have asked for better. Joanne and her team stayed throughout the ceremony to move arrangements from the outdoor ceremony to the indoor reception area. Although the venue would take care of it, she wanted to ensure it was set up to our expectations. She has a great eye for design and spaces. You can’t go wrong, Make Special Arrangements your choice for floral design.

Fabulous florist!

Joanne was so helpful, patient, and kind throughout my entire wedding planning experience. She was diligent in helping me pick the perfect flowers for my bouquets and centerpieces. Her team did a fantastic job quickly assembling on the day of and making sure everything was perfect. She also gave great advice and tips that made the difference for my overall floral vision. Joanne made me feel at ease during a hectic postponement process. Everything came out beautiful and I couldn't be happier with my decision to let Special Arrangements handle my flowers. Joanne did the flowers and centerpieces for my wedding and they came out absolutely beautiful! The flowers at our wedding were absolutely gorgeous. Joanne went above and beyond to get every small detail perfect.

With her knowledge of flowers and what will be in season she helped us choose gorgeous flowers for our wedding. I came to her with no knowledge and she helped guide us, she is very knowledgeable in many aspects of weddings and helped us choose color schemes and other vendors. The Perfect Accent to Our Perfect Day

I am very familiar with Joanne and her Special Arrangements Team. My family owns an Event Planning company, Jenju Enterprises, LLC., and we have worked exclusively with Joanne for many years, so when it was time for my big day, I knew I didn't want to work with anyone else! Joanne worked us from the very beginning to help us plan every detail of our floral and decor needs. SA uses top quality flowers and accents without breaking the bank, and as a bride on a set budget, I truly appreciated that. We were able to get a perfect blend of fresh and silk flowers that you would have a hard time telling apart. I wanted to incorporate succulents and magnolias into my decor and Joanne made it happen with high quality synthetics that lasted through the ceremony and reception without wilting or falling apart like their "real" counterparts would have. Joanne worked with us to create a custom bouquet that was EXACTLY what I wanted, as well as custom decor for our ceremony arch, reception, and the sacred geometry metalwork piece we had created as well. There is no floral and decor company I would have rather worked with for my special day. Joanne met and exceeded my expectations by far. 10 stars!!

Made my coral dreams come true!

Joanne went far and above all my expectations for flowers at my wedding. She is brilliant at what she does and she listens to exactly what you want. She took my clustered Pinterest board and made it into gorgeous arrangements that everyone loved. I love the fact that she works with both real and silk flowers. This allowed us to have the colors and flowers we wanted even though they were not in season. I still have arrangements around my house and I gush over them everyday. I highly recommend Joanne and her team, they made my wedding look fabulous.

Wedding Florist 👰🏻

Joanne did a fantastic job as our florist. Not only was she available when we needed her, but she did the most impressive job making sure our venue, which I did not find aesthetically pleasing, was exactly what I wanted. The property manager of our venue asked for photos to put on their website, because she had never seen it look better. I was the most stressed out bride and special arrangements made my life so much easier!!

Joanne was more than helpful. I was so nervous I had trouble putting on my boutonnière and Joanne was able to assist myself and my father get them on correctly. Floral arrangements were beautiful and really added to our day. Joanne was also very kind and patient with us and respected that we knew nothing about floral arrangements and gave us tons of ideas to mull over to find our vision.

We can not say enough good things about Joanne and her team. They were the ABSOLUTE BEST!! We met with Joanne several times to go over flower options and pricing. Joanne was great at giving us ideas and the pros and cons of using certain flowers. She even gave us the vision for our family table. On the day of our wedding, Joanne and her team knocked it out of the park. The flower arch, table centerpieces, bouquets, and floral accents were simply stunning. When it comes to your wedding day, vendors only have one chance to make things right; Joanne is the one you want. Hands down best florist in Jax!!

I absolutely recommend Joanne (Special arrangements), she was great to work! She was so very helpful! Made numerous recommendations for wedding vendors, was always available to meet and speak with me regarding anything, and was very responsive via email or phone. The day of the wedding ended up being much more windy than we had planned... she was super flexible & ended up recreating the centerpeices so they wouldnt blow away. I would recommend her to anyone and will use her again in a heartbeat!

We could not have been happier with Joanne! She stayed right within the budget we gave her and did a beautiful job. My bouquet was GORGEOUS and all of our other flowers were beautiful as well. She did a great job with all the other décor as well. I loved our sweet heart table and backdrop. It was her 'cinderella' table which I would highly recommend! Also, she was so flexible with everything, quick to respond to any of my emails or phone calls, and great at coordinating with my venue and day of coordinator. Planning a wedding can be stressful but she made everything to do with floral and décor easy and stress free for me. I would HIGHLY recommend her to any bride! I will say that Joanne Lechner is your go-to florist. She was fun to collaborate with on ideas for SILK floral arrangements to coordinate with our wedding colors & theme. I was unsure of what to go with exactly, but she had some real great ideas! I was also nervous on the total cost, but surprisingly it was very affordable! :D I am very glad that we decided to go with her, she is professional, punctual, & for me personally understanding and kind. I had last minute change up in our wedding party due to people having to either step up or step down.
Come wedding day I couldn't have been more pleased with my SILK floral Arrangements, they were so beautiful!!!! They turned out better than I had imagined. She knows her stuff & she won't let ya down!

This is the second wedding in which I have hired Joanne. I hired her 6 years ago for my wedding, so when I started planning my Aunt's wedding last year I knew exactly who to call. She is so easy to communicate with, and an absolute pleasure to work with. She exceeded my expectations yet again! From the bouquets, to the centerpieces and everything in between was just exquisite. Joanne was extremely flexible with ideas, budget, and did a fabulous job of adding "extra touches". We purchased some of our own centerpieces to save money and she handled all the decorating, set up, adding in flowers. She was extremely accommodating to whatever vision you have. I was likely the worst bride because I had such a hard time deciding what I wanted. She was extremely patient and always supportive of any feedback I had. She makes sure to show designs and progress along the way to ensure you are both on the same page. I didn't want to spend a fortune on flowers and Joanne did an amazing job recommending how to translate my vision into something in my budget!!
She's very versatile as well- she did my sisters wedding 18months earlier and we both had very different styles and they both turned out beautifully! Highly recommend and very grateful to all her extra special touches on the day-of.

I found Joanne through Wedding Wire while I was contacting florists looking for a particular English rose that I wanted for my bouquet. I am so glad that my search brought me to Joanne because I could not imagine working with a better florist! Throughout the entire wedding preparation she was responsive, friendly, and professional. She was quick to answer any questions and worked with me to find the best arrangements to match the style I was looking for and to also fit my budget. On the wedding day she personally delivered the bouquets and flowers to the various locations they needed to be and she moved the giant ceremony arrangements from the church to the reception site. Everything went so smoothly!

Not only was she great to work with, but her arrangements and bouquets turned out so beautifully, they really were the highlight of the reception and ceremony decor. When the bouquets were delivered on the wedding morning, despite all the chaos around me, I couldn't help but be taken aback by how gorgeous my bouquet turned out. Even after the wedding I just couldn't stop admiring the bouquets and arrangements. I wish I could have froze time to keep the beautiful flowers forever, but I made sure to take plenty of pictures of them. Every arrangement and bouquet turned out amazing! It was such a pleasure to work with Joanne for my wedding day and the flowers could not be more perfect!

JoAnn was an amazing vendor and made everything very easy for me. She was always on top of everything and available to meet with me and my fiance. She was very calm and collected about everything including day of and we only had about 2 hours to set it all up. I would highly recommend her to do any type of special event flowers. Joanne was fabulous. She really can help you stay within budget but still gives you a gorgeous product. I love flowers like peonies and ranunculus which are very expensive. She suggested I go with artificial flowers for my bouquet. I was worried at first but when I saw the final product, it was everything I had dreamed of, and I get to keep it forever! My bridesmaids bouquets were gorgeous. The boutonnières were perfect. She really knows what she is doing and can help with linens if needed. This rating is a 5/5 but wedding wire made it a 4.5 and won't let me change it.

Joanne at Special Arrangements did a wonderful job helping my daughter and I with all of the flowers for the wedding party, church arrangements, venue floral arrangements and table decorations. Joanne's service, her recommendations and availability to meet was outstanding.The bridal bouquet was gorgeous, and exactly what my daughter described. All of the wedding flowers used were beautiful and the colors were amazing! She also designed and set up the venue floral arrangements and table decorations that made the venue shine. Special Arrangements by Joanne were beautiful. We had to communicate by phone and email only as I live 5 hours away from where our venue was. Joanne emailed me pictures of passed work she has done and we talked about how I would like all the arrangements done. She was very open to what I had in mind and worked with it. I walked into her office with a mental picture and after I described what I wanted she totally understood my vision. She made great suggestions and was very easy to work with through the whole process. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and her creative vision tied everything together. Joanne was very professional and clearly loves what she does (which is important when looking for a vender). I had a very limited budget and she went above and beyond to work in that budget. She had great ideas on types of flowers to use and also allowed me to view photos of previous arrangements she had done to get an idea of what I was looking for (since I knew had no clue of what I wanted.) We were absolutely thrilled with Joanne! The first time we met with her, all we had to do was tell her our colors, and she put together the most gorgeous arrangements for us! I couldn't be more pleased! Joanne did our wedding and it was EXACTLY what I wanted. Our reception venue was setup, decorated amazingly, and she came in after the party and packed it all up. Our bridal party flower arrangements were so beautiful and just perfect. Joanne is a very creative and talented! It took me working with 3 other vendors to finally come across the most talented, affordable and attentitve Joanne. I highly highly recommend Special Arrangements. She worked so hard to make my reception and ceremony beautiful and she didn't stop until it was perfect! The centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous...so many guests commented on them. My flowers and those of our attendants surpassed our expectations. I would recommend this florist to everyone.

I can not say enough about how beautiful everything was at my son's wedding. Joanne's knowledge and expertise was so helpful especially to my son and his fiance who really just wanted Joanne to take care of everything. They were so pleased and said that they could have never dreamed of anything so beautiful. The flowers that Joanne selected for the church and the reception were just amazing. The bouquets were just perfect for the dresses and everyone was commenting on them. Joanne and her staff took care of everything so that all we had to do was to walk in and enjoy. She took time to meet us at both locations and make suggestions for the decorations. She had beautiful vases, mirrors and urns available that we could rent that really added a special touch and saved us money too. Joanne and her staff were very professional and helpful and I would highly recommend them.

Joanne, with Special Arrangements was delightful to work with. She helped me to make informed decisions when choosing flowers for my event. We met several times, at my convenience. She is very flexible. My centerpieces and bouquets turned out amazing! Special arrangements played a huge part in making my day absolutely beautiful - without having to go over budget. Joanne is amazing she is a good listener who took what I said and was able to visualize the look I wanted. Her knowledge of flowers and which would produce the right look was exceptional. She was able to work within my budget and exceeded my expectations.
When I walked into the reception room I was blown away it was even better than I expected to was gorgeous. I had a limited budget for a small wedding and yet I felt as if she delivered my fairy tale room. Everyone commented on how beautiful my bouquet and the flowers were. There is nothing that could have made it better. Thank you Joanne.

I could not believe how beautiful my flowers were. Everything from the cake flowers to the bouquets were gorgeous. Joanne is so friendly and easy to work with. She really listened to what I wanted and made my dreams reality. I plan on recommending Joanne to future brides (I already have).
